Team Z Chapter 99: Sakura vs Hinata, a Dragon Ball Z + Naruto Crossover fanfic

A/N: Hello, everyone! Here's chapter 99. It's final Sakura/Hinata mini-arc chapter. I hope you're enjoying this chapter though.

He's too stress because the fact he's constantly editing my story at least 5k words for each chapter. Let him take a break for a while. Chapter 99: Sakura VS Hinata!

Konohagakure- With Kiba

Kiba arrived just in time near where Sakura was, while Tsunade was healing her. It seemed that Tsunade had finally been able to muster all her courage to overcome her fear of blood, for she wanted to save her own student. The Inuzuka reduced the pace of his sprinting as he approached her, huffing due to his adrenaline pumping up and the fact that he'd been running fast.

Stopping and kneeling next to Sakura, he noticed her pale face. Tsunade was able to keep Sakura alive for a while, but she knew even her wondrous healing power wouldn't be enough to save Sakura. After all, she wasn't able to knit together Sakura's pierced chest. That's why Kiba brought a Senzu Bean with him.

"Kiba, did you get the Senzu Bean?" asked Tsunade, her eyebrows were still furrowed in concentration.

"Yes, Hokage-sama!" nodded Kiba. With a pensive look on his face, he told to the unconscious kunoichi, "Hey, Sakura! I just brought a Senzu Bean with me! Here… Eat it!" as he opened Sakura's mouth and shoved the Senzu Bean down her throat.

'Sakura…'Kiba was so happy, for he'd brought a bag of Senzu Beans with them to Planet Element. Otherwise, she would have died for sure.

Flashback Began

As Sakura lay prone on the ground with blood seeping from her chest, the gruesome sight made Kiba's stomach turn. He was the first one to scuttle towards the fallen kunoichi, and he kneeled next to her.

"Sakura! Sakura! Sakura!" he shook her body in hopes of making her gain consciousness, but to no avail. "Shit! What will Naruto say when he will find out about your death?! Wake up!" as he began to get more frantic. "Everyone needs you! We need you to stay alive! You're not going to die, especially when Hokage-sama taught you medical ninjutsu!"

Then, a thought struck him. He glanced behind his shoulder at an anxious Tsunade and insisted, "Hokage-sama! You're the only one who can save her right now! There's still time! Heal her!"

Akamaru barked in agreement.

But, that only made Tsunade feel even more fear. The thought of her healing Sakura who had lots of blood on her certainly frightened Tsunade.

The reason why she was afraid of blood because she'd failed to save her boyfriend's life who was left to dead with lot of blood. She tried to heal her boyfriend, but she could not even save him! She desperately tried to save him by healing him, as she watched him die. She never wanted to face blood again. That's why she had the fear of blood.

"Hokage-sama! Hurry up! If you're not going to save her, she will…" Kiba screamed with fear in her voice. "What're you waiting for?! Are you going to let her die?!"

"Kiba… Just stop it. Have you forgotten? Hokage-sama has hermophobia. She cannot heal her, as long as there's blood on Sakura. There's nothing we can do," said Shino nonchalantly.

Kiba looked at Shino in disbelief. "Shino! Did you just hear what you just said? Do you realize that what you're saying to me is irrelevant? Are you telling me we should let her die? This is bullshit, Shino!"

"I told you." Shino sighed. "There's nothing we can do. Besides, Sakura cannot be healed. She's already done for. There's too much to handle. It's best to let her rest in peace." He put his hands in his pocket. "No matter how good a healer you are, there's no way for her to save Sakura, especially when her heart was shot. That gun opened a hole in her heart. She's going to die no matter what. You're wasting your energy too much already. Just stop it, Kiba."

Kiba had an enough with Shino. He always hated Shino since they were formed teammates. Shino always made a remark about the fact, and was always being bossy towards him. That bastard acted as if he was the leader of the group. That bug lover bastard!

Kiba stood up and grabbed his collar, as he glared daggers at him. "You're giving up on her?! You, of all people, are telling me to give up on her?! If something happened to her…" Kiba released his grip of Shino's shirt, but still held his emotion. "If something happened to her… I would NEVER forgive myself! EVER! Even if the Dragon Balls could revive her… I would still NEVER forgive myself! I'm not going to abandon her! I am going to save her life! Do you understand? I will do everything to save her life! If Tsunade cannot heal her, then I will find a way to save her life! Hinata would have wanted to save her life, too!"

"Then how will you save her?" Shino calmly asked.

"I have no idea! Maybe giving her some pills or something?!" replied Kiba quickly. Suddenly, a light bulb came to his head. "Wait a minute! There's a way to save her life!"

Senzu Bean! That's Senzu Bean Sakura told Rookie Nine about! Senzu Bean is a pill that can restore its energy and injured back to full health.

Kiba looked at stoic Shino and grinned. "That's it! We can still save Sakura! There's still hope! If I go to Sandiame Hokage, he can give me a Senzu Bean! That should save her life!"

Kiba immediately ran, but was interrupted by Shino. "It will still be too late."

"Oh, now you're telling me that it's too late?!"

"We're in the middle of a forest. If you go back there, it will take about five minutes between going there and coming back. But it will take few minutes to find Sandiame Hokage. It may be too late. Why? Because Sakura will have about two minutes left to live. She'll be dead by the time you come back here."

"Now you are saying we should abandon her?!" snapped Kiba.

"No, I never said that we should abandon her. But I'm just merely stating the fact. She will die in two minutes. One, because Hokage-sama refused to heal her due to the fact that there's blood surrounding her. Two, because Sandiame Hokage is too far, it will take a time to find him due to the fact that there's an invasion ongoing."

"Then I will use Akamaru and my scent to find him! I'm not letting her die! Naruto's going to be pissed off if he finds out we let her die! I'm not letting everyone die! Have some faith in me, Shino!"

Akamaru barked in agreement with him, as he growled at Shino.

"Just go, Kiba! I will take care of her!" spoke up Tsunade. Kiba and Shino were surprised as they looked around, only to find Hokage-sama, who was already healing Sakura, even with the presence of blood nearby!

"Hokage-sama…" said Kiba, surprised.

"Just go! If you don't go now, she will die! I will try my level best to keep her alive! Just go, Kiba! Get the Senzu Bean!" insisted Tsunade. She was trying to overcome her fear of blood. She had to focus on her healing instead of her fear, for she wanted to try her best to keep Sakura alive. It was the least she could do for her own student.

Kiba grinned, "Gotcha!" He looked down at hisbuddy (Akamaru)and cheered, "All right! Akamaru, let's go! We are going to findSandaime Hokage.Akamaru yipped happily. With that, they hopped off in search of Sandiame Hokage.

Flashback Ended

Unconscious Sakura began to chew Senzu Bean and swallowed it. Once she swallowed, the hole closed in her chest, and the gashes disappeared. She slowly opened her eyes, only to stare into Kiba and Tsunade who were kneeling next to her.

"Huh? I'm still alive?" questioned Sakura. She remembered being shot by Akame's energy gun. That's the last thing she remembered. She thought she was going to die.

Kiba patted on her shoulder and grinned, "If it was not for Senzu Bean you brought here, you wouldn't be alive right now! Also, if it was not for Hokage-sama, you would be dead by the time I get here!"

"He wanted to save you, because he claimed that you're his friend," stated Shino.

Tsunade stood up, as she wiped the sweat off her forehead. "We couldn't let you die. Without Naruto or Sasuke, we need you right now. You're the only gal with Ki user here. You're only one who can stop Danzo."

Sakura chuckled, "That's the reason why you kept me alive?"

"No." Tsunade smiled. "Because you're also a kunoichi of Konohagakure and… you're my student, it's only naturally for Hokage to save them; sensei to save their student."

Sakura got up and returned her smile as well. "Thank you. Especially you, Kiba-san." She smiled at Kiba. "You never give up your hope. No matter what results, you overcame them all and saved my life. I could not have more enough than thank you, Kiba-san. Someday, I will owe you one."

Kiba pointed his thumb at himself and grinned, "Don't mention it! It's always my pleasure to help a hot girl like yourself!"

Sakura glared at him.

Kiba waved his hand off nervously. "Just joking!"

"Hope so. I have a boyfriend." Sakura sighed. Suddenly, she felt so weird. That moment when she knew something was wrong. "I have to go."

Tsunade nodded, "Take care of yourself."

Without any further statement, Sakura then leapt off to the branch of trees and began hopping each tree on way to aid Hinata.

'It's strange. For some reason, I can't fly.'Sakura looked down at her hand, as she attempted to charge up the Ki, but to no avail. She was confused. How in the world did she lose Ki all of the sudden? 'I can't even use Ki either? What's going on?'

Watching Sakura as she was out of their sight, Tsunade noticed something was wrong. "It bothers me something."

"What does it bother you, Hokage-sama?" asked Kiba.

"Because she is not flying, Kiba." Shino answered for Tsunade.

"If she's in such a rush, she should be flying, but she isn't. Something's wrong with her!" said Tsunade with a concern in her tone.

With Sakura

Sakura tried to figure out why she lost her Ki powers. She could not fly, or release her Ki at all. This was the first time she worried about her own power. Back before she learned Ki, she only used Chakra. But after she learned Ki, she relied on Ki more, but constantly using Chakra. Without Ki, she was doomed. How would she defeat Danzo without her Ki powers? As far as she knew, Danzo was too powerful. She's not on Jounin level yet.

Why?!

How did she lose her Ki powers?!

Impossible!

As long as she trained with her Ki, she should not be losing her Ki. In fact, she was training every day, except last three days. She did not train in three days because she was mourning her parents' death.

But…

Three days without training with her Ki, she should not lose her Ki.

WHY?!

She clenched her fists. She felt anger. All sorts of bad things happened to her ever since she arrived on Element! She was very frustrated for almost a month! Everything always HAPPENED BADLY here!

Hinata…

Tensions between her and Hinata did almost take up to eleven, but at least they calmed it down for a while. But it was still frustrating for her. Sometimes, she wanted to take it out on her. Hinata accused her for stealing Naruto away from her! Even now, Hinata had not accepted the fact that Sakura was Naruto's girlfriend. It pissed her off! What's more, Hinata claimed that Naruto was his, no one else! That pissed her off even more!

Sasuke…

She was glad that he was safe and sound. She always cared for him. She would like to stop him from his revenge obsession. Naruto and she would do everything to help him. But… The problem is Sasuke's damn attitude! She suggested him not to check on Kirigakure, and what did he do? He ignored her damn suggestion and went there, only to get hurt! Now he was away from Konohagakure to train with Kakashi—now alone!

Naruto…

Yes, that was one of her biggest issue. ALMOST EVERYONE IN THIS VILLAGE WANTED HIM DEAD! Sometimes, she wanted to beat them up, but not kill them! She wanted to make them regret for the rest of their lives! Naruto was arrested because Danzo claimed that he'd kidnapped Sasuke and Sakura. She even told him multiples times that they came back from other planet, yet he never believed them! What's worse, Naruto was away on training with Jiraiya! Without her team, she was lonely! She had no one to back her up! Sure, her friends backed her up, but it was not enough! She was very lonely!

Danzo…

Finally, he was her number one issue! She hated him with passion, as much as Hinata does. She knew killing him out of revenge would not succeed. Otherwise, she would be just same as Sasuke. But only thing she wanted is to beat him up. Nothing more. That bastard attempted to capture Naruto, and also successfully killed her parents just because she inflicted harm upon him!

Now that she lost her Ki powers. Now she could not fly! She couldn't perform Kamehameha Wave anymore! She could not even throw a simple Ki blast! How in the world did she lose her Ki powers? Last time she used Ki was before she had gotten into the deadly game with Akame. After she won, she was shot by stupid energy gun!

Suddenly, realization dawned on her face. She landed on the branch and stared at her hands in shock. 'Energy gun!'She finally realized that it was the energy gun. It did not only nearly kill her, but it also absorbed her energy, should she survive it. That had to be it!

"SAKURA!"

Sakura snapped out of her thought, only to find that Hinata stood on the opposite branch. "Hinata? Where's Danzo? Did you get him?"

Hinata clenched her fists. "Do you think I'm so foolish?!"

"What?"

"You betrayed me!" screamed Hinata.

Sakura frowned. "What're you talking about? I'd never betray you." Here they go again. It was always Hinata! When will she ever take a break?! What's the matter with Hinata? Why is Hinata taking a heat on her? Now she was getting sick of Hinata already!

"Then why didn't you come?! You never helped me! Because of you…" Hinata felt like she wanted to kill Sakura right now. She could not stand Sakura. It was always Sakura! Since she came back, there's always a problem with Sakura! When will she ever take a break?! Why is Sakura betraying her now?! Now she was getting sick of Sakura already!

"Wait!" Sakura waved her hand off on alert. "Let me explain—"

"The only way to explain is through fighting!" Hinata pointed his finger at Sakura accusingly. "Because of you, Hanabi died!"

Okay, now it had gotten serious. It was the most shocking news to Sakura. She could not believe it. She remembered Hinata did save Hanabi! What happened to Hanabi? How did she get killed by Danzo?

Shikamaru vs Rukia

Ever since Hiashi's death, Shikamaru had a hard time, trying to beat Rukia. He was afraid to lose any of his men, yet he lost a pawn. He only lost Hiashi and one pawn so far. Somehow, he managed to capture Rukia's pawns. He only captured her Bishop and one of her pawns so far. He was afraid to sacrifice any of his pieces, since all of his pieces had a life form.

Rukia seemed unafraid of moving her back row pieces. That would mean she was willing to sacrifice her back row pieces. Hell, she was willing to sacrifice just to capture his pieces. Every time she sacrificed, she always got one step ahead of him.

Shikamaru only moved his back row pieces so far. That was Yoshino-Knight, but he moved her back in the back row, due to the fear of her being killed.

Currently, Shikamaru had Bulma-Castle on A1, Izumo-Bishop on C1, Ino-Queen on D1, himself-King on E1, Kotetsu-Bishop on F1, Yoshino-Knight on G1, and Inari-Castle on H1. While some pawns remained on C2, D2, and F2, he moved other pawns to A3, C3, E3, and G3. He only lost Hiashi-Knight and one of his pawns.

Rukia had his two castle remained in the starter square. Her king and Queen did not move at all. Even the Bishop on F8 didn't move. She only moved two Knights from the back row to C6 and F5. While some of her pawns remained on A7, C7, F7, and H7, she moved some of her pawns to D6, E5, and G6. Her Bishop and one of her pawn were captured by Shikamaru.

Shikamaru could not figure out which one pawn he should relocate to. Pawn E3 or Pawn G3? Or else? There was Rukia's Knight on F5. Either he would have to sacrifice one of his pawns. Knights would capture one of them.

'Shit!'cursed Shikamaru. He did not want to sacrifice his pawns! Yes, he knew that pawns were meant to sacrificed, but this was not like that. This was between life and death game!

Ino stood next to Shikamaru and watched him to struggle with Chess game. She began worry for him. He was never in the situation like this. She anticipated whether or not she should encourage him to sacrifice his pawns.

Next to invisible wall on left side of Chess Board, Gohan and Kuririn discussed with Bulma about the Chess game. "Do you think he will listen to you?" asked Gohan.

"It's a really risk gambling game. You know that, right?" Kuririn asked, showing that he was actually showing concern for her.

Bulma nodded and smiled. "Kuririn… Do you remember when I participated in a Chess tournament seven years ago?"

Kuririn recalled the event of Chess tournament. He remembered when she participated in Chess, she won the tournament along with the million Zeni. She could not understand why she needed money. Briefs families were rich in the world. She could ask her Dad for the money.

"Oh, it is risky, alright, but if his mind and my mind work together, we will be invincible," said Bulma. "That's why I will get him to listen to me, even if pawns are meant to be sacrificed. We, back row pieces, are meant to fight for King, as pawns meant to sacrifice for King. We sacrifice them, and we wish them back to life with Dragon Balls, due to the fact that Rukia is one of Coola's men."

"You've got good point."

Bulma, Kuririn, and Gohan looked around at the newcomer voice and that was Shikaku. "Shikaku-san," trio called his names simultaneously.

"Shikamaru never was in this situation before. He may be Chuunin, but he never had an authority to order his men around. That's why he was nervous about it. He was afraid to let his men go. If he remained like this, he would lose the game. In fact, it will be his first time to lose against his opponent besides me—his father. But in reality, we were meant to sacrifice our life to protect something that are precious to us. That's how it is in the real world," explained Shikaku.

Bulma watched Shikamaru who was still struggling. "You're right. It seemed as it may be on this planet. But… If you've watched this game carefully, at least from my point of view, Shikamaru and Rukia's moves are completely different from our moves. Back on Earth, we focused on pawns to move forward, but we also move our back row pieces. That's way we can protect Kings only. We even are willing to move Queen in order to protect King as well.

"But according to Shikamaru's moves, it seemed that he would keep his back row in order to protect King and Queen. It's not so different from our planet's Chess game. But on Earth, we have our own military, too. During the war, they constantly send our strongest soldiers to fight for our country. But on this planet, they keep their strongest soldiers in the back row, even though they're on front lines. They would send their weakest soldiers to be decoy, so they can win. Maybe I'm wrong, but at least I speak from my point of view."

She looked back at Kuririn again. "Think about it. If Saiyans would play Chess game, what do you think they will send pieces first?"

Kuririn smiled. "They would be so aggressive and send all of their pieces to fight, including King himself."

"Right. But they could still win the game regardless. Because our moves are different. So, by watching Rukia's moves, did you see what she does? You noticed that right, Shikaku?"

Shikaku sighed, "Troublesome. Of course I noticed. It seemed that she quickly send her pieces to beat down every single pieces she see the opportunity."

"All she does is to beat down her opponent's pieces. It must be her strategy. It's so easy to calculate her next moves. If Shikamaru and I unite our mind, we would be surely to win against this psychopath girl!" Bulma boasted. She looked around at Shikamaru. "Shikamaru!"

She got his attention.

"If we unite our mind—you mind and my mind—against her, we will win! To do so, we must move as we usually do in the normal Chess game!" said Bulma.

"That would mean their death!" snapped Shikamaru.

"We will bring them back to life with Dragon Balls!" Bulma quickly snapped back.

Much to his surprise, Shikamaru glanced down at the floor and heavily sighed, annoyed. "How troublesome… But as long as there's death in the game, I can't contemplate on the game. Still, it's so wrong to sacrifice their live just because you guys have Dragon Balls."

"Think about it! If you cannot do such a thing, you will lose!" said Bulma frantically.

"Queen D1 moves to F3!" Suddenly, Ino commanded, as she automatically moved to the square diagonally between the two pawns that were going to be captured by the Knights, and in front of pawn and Kotetsu-Bishop in the same column.

"Ino!" cried Shikamaru, aghast.

Ino glanced over her shoulder at Shikamaru. "I'm disappointed in you. Who would expect a genius like you to miscommunicate with us? If you're not going to work together with us just because you're afraid to let us down, then as queen, I will take your place and command our soldiers, but you!"

"Ino!" Shikamaru was bewildered. It was not like her to go that far. It was out of character for her to sacrifice her life in this situation. Usually, she would stay behind and communicate through their mind with her jutsu and worked together. But she was willing to sacrifice her life now.

Ino smiled. "I'm so proud of Yamanka Clan! I'm not going to let my family down, even if I'm going to sacrifice my life."

Rukia laughed sadistically. "HAHAHAHAHAHA!" Shikamaru, Ino, Bulma, Kuririn, Gohan, Shikaku, and the rest of Shikamaru's soldiers and speculators were taken aback by her laugh. "You are so brave woman! When I see an opportunity to capture you, I promise you, you will die with my name carving on your forehead! 'AKAME' DOES REALLY FIT ON YOUR FOREHEAD! HOW EXCITING!"

"Knight F5 captures Pawn G3!" A knight on horse leapt over to Pawn G3, as a knight impaled with spear into pawn G3's chest, as Pawn G3 screamed in the pain and collapsed to the floor.

Before Shikamaru could do anything, Ino screamed immediately. "Queen F3 captures Knight G3!" She picked up her sword from her sheath on her side and removed the knight from the horse by slicing him through the chest.

Why? Why won't she let him to command? He could not understand Ino's intention. Why did she want to risk her own life by commanding herself to move? That was not what he wanted! He did not want everyone to die!

Rukia laughed, "How exciting! Queen D8 moves to F6!" Then Rukia's queen moved diagonally to the left, as she stood in front of F7 pawn.

Again, Ino disallowed Shikamaru to take a command, as she commanded yet another. "Bishop F1 moves to C4!"

Kotetsu-Bishop ran four squares diagonally to the left. He smirked, taking a note that he was about to capture someone! That was only useful he could perform! He was very excited that he finally got to move!

"Queen F6 moves to E6!" shouted Rukia. Queen F6 simply walked to right one square.

It did not need take a genius to notice that. Ino noticed that already. She saw that through Rukia's movement!

Rukia grinned. 'That's right! Do it! Capture my queen!'She altered her pupil to Pawn F7.'If that woman captures my queen with their Bishop, then I will use my pawn to capture their Bishop.'

Ino knew it. If she was to capture Rukia's queen, then Kotetsu-Bishop will be killed by her pawn in next move. There's no way she would be fooled by Rukia easily.

Just as Ino was about to command, suddenly there was outburst. "Let me capture queen!"

Ino, Shikamaru, Bulma, and Izumo widened their eyes in shock. Kotetsu suddenly demanded her that he wanted to capture her himself. "What?!"

"This is not Chess game if you're afraid to sacrifice your pieces! Please, grant my request, let me capture queen! I can die happily if I do something useful in a while!"

"Why are you so stupid?! You're going to be killed!" screamed Izumo.

Kotetsu looked at Izumo from the same column and smiled. "Izumo… You're my best friend. I'm glad you are always by my side, as I was at your side. You are always my best friend since our childhood. See you soon."

"No…" Izumo said flatly

"No, no, no! S-S-Stop it!" cried Shikamaru.

But Ino did not listen to him as she was going to grant Kotetsu's request. "Bishop C4 captures Queen E6!" Kotetsu-Bishop charged towards Queen E6, as he threw the spear, impaling it into Queen's face.

As soon as she went dead, he stared into the pawn that would capture him soon. He started to smile. He was proud of his achievement. He did something useful once in a while.

"AHAHAHA! You're so fun!" Rukia laughed, as she pointed her finger at her pawn. "Pawn F7 captures Bishop E6!"

Pawn F7 immediately bashed his shield onto Kotetsu-Bishop's neck, which resulted in him getting choked to death.

"Kotetsu!" cried Izumo. Now he lost his best friend in front of him in this very stupid game! He had lost his hope of this game. He had no idea what he should do now since Kotetsu was just killed in front of him. He was weakened as he fell to his knees.

Rukia constantly laughed every time Shikamaru's pieces died. "AHAHAHAHAHA! I was right! You guys are… FUN! HOW EXCITING!"

Ino growled. 'Damn it! If Shikamaru is willing to play this game, we would have won by now!'

'Rooks haven't moved so far. That's good. Should King be in danger, we can castle,'thought Bulma.

'One by one, they're dying! What am I going to do?'Inari thought. 'Naruto's going to be mad if I am so coward! I need to start asking Shikamaru or Ino to command me to move. Everyone is willing to play this game even if it costs our life! I should do as well!'

'Shika-kun… Ino-chan's going to devastate this game and lose if you won't start playing the game,'thought Yoshino.

Shikamaru bared his teeth in anticipation. 'Why? I never play any strategy game where it is in between life and death. This is what I'm getting? This is Chess game with life forms which you could not control yourself by a command. If my pieces happened to be caught by an enemy's piece, they cannot dodge or block an enemy's attack. They have to let themselves be killed by an enemy. That's why… I can't play this game.'

"Oh, no! That's so awful!" baffled Gohan.

"Why would he insist to give up his life?" asked a confused Kuririn.

"It's normal." Shikaku said, drawing their attention to him. "It's common for normal people."

"Normal people?" questioned Kuririn.

Shikaku folded his arms, sighing. "People with average intelligent like Ino or most people, for example, or rather people who don't play chess games very much. In their case, Queen is the most powerful piece in the Chess game. Because the fact that queen can move anywhere, basically, she can move like Rooks, Bishop, pawns, and kings, except Knights. Once they set their sights on queen, they will capture queen right away no matter what. That's why Kotetsu asked Ino to let him capture queen, regardless if a pawn is right there."

"Wait… you're saying that any normal people would choose to capture queen immediately when their pieces is in the range? But any people with high intelligent will not capture queen right away unless it's necessary?" asked Kuririn.

Shikaku smiled, "Depends on game. Usually, if you go against profession chess players, when you make a small mistake, it's checkmate. That's why we don't blindly capture queen which could lead them to their victory. If Shikamaru is willing to play game, he would have won in just five moves."

"That's incredible! Shikamaru can finish this game in five moves?!" shocked Kuririn.

"Look at him. Look at my son." Shikaku said.

Kuririn and Gohan analyzed Shikamaru carefully. They just realized that Shikamaru was cupping his both hands and turned it upside down while closing his eyes.

Kuririn raised his eyebrows, confused. "What's he doing?" Gohan glanced up at Shikaku who was so proud of his son.

"He's figuring it out already. That's his strategy," said Choji, as he was eating his chips as usual.

"Once he does that, he already won," said Shikaku proudly.

Shikamaru opened his eyes with smirk on his face. Finally he had figured it out how to defeat Rukia. "All right. I will do it! I will play!"

"Shikamaru!" cheered Ino. She was so happy that he was going to play so she did not have to butcher the game anymore!

"Pawn D2 moves to D4!" shouted Shikamaru. Pawn D2 smiled, knowing that he's going to die, but at least he was glad that Shikamaru got back into the game. Pawn D2 walked two squares forward.

Rukia laughed, "Now you finally sacrificed your pawn?! How exciting!" She pointed her finger at a certain pawn four squares in front of her. "Pawn E5 captures Pawn D4!"

Rukia's pawn spun around, as he stabbed Shikamaru's pawn in the chest with the steel sword. Pawn D4 screamed in the pain, as blood spilled all acorss on Pawn E5.

Shikamaru winced at another loss. No matter who was going to win, it's always so troublesome to see someone's death. For the sake, all pawns are just a citizen! Then again, just as Bulma said, there's always Dragon Balls after all.

"Pawn C3 captures Pawn D4!" Shikamaru's Pawn slashed the sword around, as it beheaded Pawn D4.

"Knight C6 captures Pawn D4!" Rukia commanded. A knight on the horse jumped and trampled onto Pawn D4 to death. "You guys are so fun! You move like a badass! How exciting!"

"Pawn E3 captures Knight D4!" Shikamaru shouted. Pawn E3 ran towards Knight D4 and jumped with his large broadsword before splitting both horse and knight into the half.

"Yes! So fun! FUN! FUN!" Rukia laughed like a crazy. It seemed like she should be sent to mental hospital. She was getting crazy every time a piece was captured. She must have loved bloodshed then.

For some reason, she randomly commanded her H7 pawn to move two squares ahead without thinking twice.

Ino sweat-dropped. 'Is she an idiot? Did she move without checking our pieces out? She's going to lose in few seconds. Besides, she's moving pawn in hope of capturing me.'

Bulma snickered at Rukia's idiocy move. 'Has she not noticed that her King is vulnerable right now?'She glanced at Shikamaru who happened to stare at her. She nodded at him and smiled. It was almost as if she communicated with him by just staring at him.

'Not yet.'Shikamaru smirked. He knew he was going to win. "Rook A1 moves to B1." Bulma-Rook simply stepped into the second square on the left in the back row.

"That's all?! What're you trying to pull?!" Rukia screamed angrily. Without think twice about it, she screamed at her Pawn H5 to move one square forward. She smirked. She did not care if her pawn was captured. All she wanted to kill queen by using her own methods.

Shikamaru scoffed at her methods. He knew she was going to do that. That's why he knew he was going to win anyways. "Queen G3 captures Pawn G6!"

Ino-Queen rushed towards Pawn G6, as she beheaded Pawn G6. She smirked at Rukia. "Check…"

Rukia widened her eyes in shock. Queen was on the range of King. "NO!" But for some reason, she laughed. "You fool! You thought I'm going to follow the rule?! Forget it! I'm not going to lose to you! I'm castling King with A8 Rook!"

Rukia herself switched her Rook in their respectively squares. Right now, Rukia was on A8, while Rook was on E8. She giggled. "Hehe… How exciting!"

Everyone's reactions were speechless, except Shikamaru and Shikaku. How did Rukia castle with Rook?

"Wait… That's impossible!" Bulma shocked. "According to Chess rules, you're only allowed to castle if your king and rook are both in their original positions, the king isn't in check, and there are no pieces blocking the maneuver. Also, the king moves two spaces sideways, while the rook moves to the space the king skipped over. But instead, they're still in their original positions, the king is in check, and there are no pieces blocking the maneuver, yet they're castling. What's more, both king and rook switched!"

Rukia laughed, "That's right!"

"You're cheating, aren't you?!" growled Bulma.

"So what?! This is MY Chess game! At least, I did not move any pieces anywhere I wished to. I'm limited to do anything with my Chess game anyways! By 'cheating', I must switch myself and Rook if I was in check anyways!"

"You bitch!" screamed Ino. She never had seen someone that humiliated Shikamaru so much before in Shogi games. "You're just afraid to lose, so you had to cheat!"

"Oh, now you're allowed to cheat, but if we're cheating, I can guarantee that you WILL scream cheating!" said Yoshino.

"Who cares?! I knew it's going to happen! I just defied your strategy, Shikamaru!" mocked Rukia.

Shikamaru scowled.

"I know everything about you, Shikamaru!" Rukia spread her arms and began to mock him. "I know you often play shoji against your Father. When you're in critical situation, you will go in some form of pray or something. You anticipated hundred possible moves in a second. You're truly genius! But I bet you never anticipated that I was going to cheat, didn't you?!"

Shikamaru smirked.

"What's so funny?!" scowled Rukia, pointing at Shikamaru.

"Queen G6 captures Rook E8," commanded Shikamaru.

Ino-Queen simply rushed towards Rook E8 and stabbed him in the chest. She would point her sword towards Rukia.

"Try to capture me?!" Rukia laughed. "How exciting! Whatever plan you're doing is not going to accomplish! King A8 moves to B7! Huh?!" For some reason, she could not move. "What?! Why can't I move?!"

"Checkmate," announced Shikamaru proudly.

"What?! No way! It can't be! How did I lose?!" cried Rukia.

Shikamaru chuckled, "Sorry, but you lost. I knew you were going to cheat, so I planned it! Think back then."

Flashback Began

"Rook A1 moves to B1." Bulma-Rook simply stepped into the second square on the left in the back row.

Flashback Ended

"Shoot!" Rukia realized. She immediately looked around at Bulma-Rook who was also in the range of King. No matter where he moves, Bulma-Rook and Ino-Queen can still capture her because the fact her own pawn is in the way. "YOU BASTARD!"

"That's because you were too fixated on killing Ino!" Shikamaru explained. "Is 'Magic Move" also part of your cheating? It seems like there's also restriction to your cheating moves."

Rukia widened her eyes. How did he know?

"When you showed that you're cheating by castling, I knew you're also cheating on "magic move" part. It's not part of your rule. Your so-called Chess game is part of common chess game. 'It's not cheating unless you get caught.' You clearly showed that you're cheating. The moment you're caught cheating, you lost already," finished Shikamaru.

Rukia clutched her head, and screamed. "NO! I REFUSED TO LOSE! I NEVER LOSE IN MY LIFE! NOOOO—" Her scream ended when Ino sliced through her chest.

"Shut up! Stop act like a childish!" growled Ino in annoyance.

Irony, Rukia was actually still child since she was only eight. Anyways, as soon as Rukia died, invisible walls went off, and Chess Board vanished. Even rests of Rukia's soldiers vanished, assuming that they're all fakes. Inoichi rushed to her and embraced her in happy hug, saying that he was relieved that she was safe. Izumo would cry on dead Kotetsu's shoulder. Shikaku and Yoshino would approach Shikamaru and congratulated him on beating Rukia.

Inari would meet up with Gohan, Kuririn and Bulma. He greeted them with a smile. "Hey…"

"We did it. We are still safe and alive. We won!" said Bulma with relief.

Inari frowned. "Yeah. But they did not make it." He eyed Hiashi, Kotetsu, and rests of citizens who did not make it.

Gohan frowned, "I wish it did not happen that way. Too many deaths here since Coola attacking Element."

"Yeah, only if they never came, none of this would happen," agreed Kuririn.

"Hmm… What should we tell Hinata?" asked Gohan.

"Huh?" Bulma and Gohan raised their eyebrows at him.

"Her Dad just died. If she finds out, she's going to be upset," explained Gohan.

Kuririn scratched his bald head, frowning. "She has to know…"

"For sure, Hinata is going to flip out," said Ino, as she approached them along with Shikamaru.

Shikamaru pocketed his hands in. "One of you guys have to tell her. You two are only here that can sense any amounts of Ki after all. You know where she is."

"Agreed!" Bulma eyed Kuririn almost as if she wanted him to do something, which Kuririn could not comprehend. "You go!"

"Wait!" Kuririn denied, waving her off. Telling Hinata would just give him goose bumps, he would really be scared. "No way! I'm not going to tell her!"

"What?! Are you a coward?!" scowled Bulma.

Kuririn shook his head, gulping. "Well, what do you want me to say? I walk to him and say, 'Hey, your Dad just died in Chess game, and I'm sorry for your loss!' Hell, no! She's going to yell at me!"

Bulma growled, "You can't even tell Chi-Chi that Goku died and Gohan was kidnapped by Piccolo! What's difference between Hinata and Chi-Chi anyways?!"

"Because… Hinata is scarier than Chi-Chi? Any normal people will be scared to tell the truth to women after all," admitted Kuririn.

"What?! Are you saying I'm not normal?!"

"Yes!" Kuririn blurted out, but quickly covered his mouth once he realized that he just told her that she indeed was not a normal.

Bulma frowned. "What about Sakura? Is she normal?"

"No!" Kuririn's legs already trembled.

"What about Ino?" Bulma asked, pointing out at Ino. Ino was eager to hear what Kuririn had to say.

"No!"

Ino dropped her jaws. Did this midget really say that she was not a normal person?

"You're such a spineless, coward! Pushover! Namby-pamby! Feeble! Frail! Scaredy-cat! Sissy—"

"I will go," interrupt Gohan. Kuririn sighed with a relief, but still felt oppressed by Bulma's words. He was thankful that Gohan admitted to look for Hinata.

Without any warning, Ino hugged him. "Thank you! You're so brave!" She cheered. Then she glared at Kuririn. "Unlike you!"

Kuririn frowned again. Why did it always to be him? 'Why do I have so much of bad luck? Am I curse or what?'

"Troublesome," was all Shikamaru could say. Choji only smiled while eating a bag of chips.

Gohan flew away in search of Hinata so he could tell her the news. BIG BAD NEWS!

Sakura vs Hinata

"What? She died?" asked a baffled Sakura.

Hinata snarled. "Don't pretend that you feel sorry for her! It's your fault! Many bad happened because of you!"

"Are you accusing me of Hanabi's death?!" growled Sakura.

"You never helped me! You abandoned me and betrayed me! I can't beat Danzo because of you! Hanabi died to save me because of you! I shouldn't have…" Hinata clenched her fists, as she bared her teeth in anger. She would never forget that her sister died to save her. "TRUSTED YOU!"

Suddenly, Hinata jumped over to Sakura and knocked her down to the forest floor with her fist.

'Ouch!'Sakura received the bruise on her cheek and fell on the ground with thud. As soon as she got a clear view on the sky, she found Hinata jumping down towards her with her palm. 'Shit! She's really trying to kill me! Only if I haven't lost my KI…!'

She rolled away before Hinata slammed her palm onto the ground. Byakugan user could have stopped Sakura's heart if she did not roll away right away. As soon as Hinata noticed her, she wasted no time to rush towards Sakura.

"Wait!" Sakura cried.

Hinata did not stop as she began to assault on Sakura with her fists. She chooses not to use Juuken because she did not want to end Sakura quickly. This time, Sakura did not let her to harm her any longer, so she parried every single of her fist.

"Calm down!" Sakura tried her best to soothe her, but it was futile.

"DON'T TELL ME TO CALM DOWN!" snarled Hinata. She switched her fist to her palm, as she slipped through Sakura's defense, slamming her palm onto her stomach, doubled her over.

It was hurt as hell! THAT REALLY HURT! It was almost as if she took a bullet into the stomach. Sakura kneeled, as she was groaning in the pain. Before she could react, Hinata aggressively kicked her away, rolling away. Then she would grab Sakura's clothes and lifted her up to level with her eyes.

"SHE WAS MY SISTER!" yelled Hinata. She kneed Sakura in the stomach. "YOU TOOK HER AWAY FROM ME!" She delivered her free fist onto her nose, causing a blood. "BECAUSE OF YOU!" Hinata let her occupied hand of Sakura's shirt, but instead, she punched her down to the ground.

Then Hinata sat down on Sakura, and pounded her fists onto Sakura's face. While she was constantly punching Sakura, she still kept screaming. "So why should you be any different?! Since my Mother's death, I killed people who dared to hurt my sister!" She pulled her fist up, as she was about to pound more fists onto her face.

"I DID NOT BETRAY YOU!" Sakura's scream stopped Hinata's fist.

"You are lying!" said Hinata. "Then why did you not help me?!"

"Because I encountered some psycho girl!" Sakura yelled, hoping that Hinata would finally understand. She could see that Hinata was in shock. "Look…it's no big deal—"

SMACK!

Hinata punched Sakura again. "IT IS BIG DEAL TO ME! Your betrayal led my sister to her death! SHE DIED! Stabbed in the chest by Danzo! BECAUSE YOU NEVER CAME!"

Sakura sighed, "I want to tell you something."

Hinata frowned. She was willing to listen to what Sakura had to say something to her. She let her fist down, allowing Sakura to speak up.

"You know…" Sakura scoffed. "You said Naruto was yours, no one else. In fact, Naruto is MINE!"

SMACK!

"Shut up! You stole him away from me and you're going to brag about it?!" growled Hinata.

Sakura smirked, "You're damned right! I will always brag about him the fact that he's MY boyfriend!"

SMACK!

Sakura took a breath first, due to being beaten up. Once she got better of her oxygen, she laughed right in Hinata's face. She knew it angered Hinata even more. "I get it… You're jealous!"

Smack!

"Stop it!" pleaded Hinata angrily.

"You're so jealous that—" Smack!"That I took him away—" Smack!"From you!"

Smack!

"Please…" Hinata started to weep out of her eyes, but she held it back. "Stop!"

"Naruto doesn't like you!" hissed Sakura.

She was taken aback by Sakura's words. "W-W-What did you s-s-say?"

"Are you deaf?!" Sakura yelled again. "I said Naruto DOESN'T like you! You don't get it, do you? He had no interest in you. You had stuttering problem. You always knocked out whenever he's nearby. You were stalking him wherever he goes. You wanted him. However, he's not interesting in you, because you weren't me. You were weak, timid, and shy. That's why he doesn't like you. Even if you've changed, he won't still like you!"

Hinata hissed and hardened her eyes, as she clenched her fists. "W-Why? Why are you…" Frustrated, angered, and hurt, Hinata smacked her at least three times.

Sakura chuckled weakly. She suffered the bruise and beaten at the hand of Hinata, but she seemed not to mind it. In fact, she allowed Hinata to beat her up. That's why she was mocking Hinata. 'That's right. Vent your anger, and let all out! You've been holding your anger for years and years.'

"Why are you bringing him up?! He has to do nothing with this because you BETRAYED me!" Hinata roughly grabbed Sakura to her face. "Whether he likes me or not is NONE of my concern! My sister's death AFFECTS ME! If you helped me to defeat Danzo, she would have never died! Stop bringing Naruto in our conversation!"

Sakura scoffed. "No, you're wrong." She just noticed that Hinata clenched her fists on her shirt. She knew Hinata was very angry. But she was not about to stop. "Naruto has to do anything about us. You're accusing me of betraying you because Naruto and I are into relationship. When your little sister passed away, you snapped! Because I was not there, you decided to blame me for your weakness! You were too weak to defend your sister!"

"No…"

"That's right! Even though you are hero of Konoha and you're Chuunin who's actually at Jounin level skills, you are still too weak to defeat Danzo! Without me, you CANNOT WIN! Without me, your little sister had to save your pathetic life because the fact that you're too WEAK to face him!" Sakura spat every word out of her mouth right in Hinata's face.

Hinata was shocked by Sakura's every words. She felt provoked by Sakura. She did not like every word out of Sakura's mouth. She bit her lip out of stress. She felt like she was burning inside. She refused to accept that she's weak! She was not WEAK! She was not weak like every other genins! She knew she was strong. She defeated Gaara for the sake!

But this girl—that bitch—pissed her off in every corner since she came back to Element! Ever since Sakura came back, she found out that Naruto was hers! Also ever since that pink-haired bitch came back, she took all of her friends away from her too! Even worse, since Sakura come back, she practically told her to stay away from Naruto, or else! Not to mention that Sakura literally told her that she could beat her with just one finger! This ignorant bitch told her nonsense before she even knew what Ki was!

Of course, she admitted that Sakura was strong than her. Not just her, she was also stronger than Hokage-sama and more strong ninjas! But she still hated it nonetheless!

Even though she had Ki, she could not kill Danzo after the fact that he ordered his men to kill her parents. She cried like a baby since her parents' death! She tried to soothe Sakura, but all she did was ignoring everyone including her!

She thought Sakura and she were friends now, but her betrayal led her sister to her death! Right now, she's beating Sakura up just because she betrayed her!

Suddenly, realization dawned on her face. "Wait a minute! Why am I beating you up, even though you have a Ki?" She also hated that someone would hold back on her. She snarled, "YOU BITCH! You lowered your Ki on purpose, so you can have me thinking that I beat you! You know I don't like when someone held back on me! It makes me think that I'm too weak to beat them! That pissed me off!"

Sakura chuckled, but started to sound very weak. "Heh… I will tell you if you would get off of me…"

"Damn you!" Hinata scowled, as she pounded her fists more on Sakura's face. Every time she touched her face with her fists, there would be more blood, and Hinata's fists probably would be shattered by punching too much. But Hinata would not stop, and Sakura would not stop her either! Sakura was letting her to beat her up! That pissed Hinata off!

Unknown to them, Tsunade, Kiba, Akamaru, and Shino had been watching those whole times. They were hiding inside the forest. Kiba wanted to stop Hinata, but Shino and Tsunade told him not to, because he wanted to watch what's going on, and Tsunade also stopped him because if Kiba did, there would be no end to Hinata and Sakura's feud. That's why they were watching Hinata beating Sakura up.

"Hokage-sama…" Shino finally spoke up, which surprised Tsunade and Kiba. He was not the type to be talkative after all. "Sakura did not fight back, yet Hinata gives enough damage to her."

Tsunade nodded, "Yeah. Something's wrong. She should not be taking that damage much. I wonder why…"

"I implanted my kikaichu on Sakura before she left. I knew something's wrong with her before I put her on her," said Shino. As he was about to say, Tsunade and Kiba were eager to hear what he had to say. "Kikaichu have searched her both Ki and Chakra. She barely found a trace of Ki remaining in her body."

Kiba widened his eyes and shocked, "WHAT?!"

"So in other words…" Tsunade could not form a word in her mouth, as she tried to figure out what happened to Sakura.

"In other words, she is unable to use Ki anymore," finished Shino.

"You've got to be kidding me!" Kiba yelled with mix of shock and anger. "She's only our hopes! She's only one who can stop Coola! There's no way she could lose her Ki!"

"We have Naruto and Sasuke," said Shino simply.

"Screw Naruto and Sasuke! What if they're late and then Coola wipes us in less than a second if no one have a power to stop him?!" yelled a frustrated Kiba. Akamaru barked in agreement with him.

"Kiba!" Kiba looked at Tsunade who called him. "Stop yelling. They're going to hear us if you keep yelling like that."

Kiba gulped. "I'm sorry, Hokage-sama." It's best not to incur Hokage-sama's wrath. Her temper is worse than Sakura and Hinata's temper combination.

Tsunade sighed, as she was watching Hinata still beating Sakura up.

Smack! Smack! Smack! Smack! Smack! Smack!

Every time Hinata landed a punch on Sakura, she started to weep, but tears did not come out of her eyes. She did not want to cry in front of Sakura, but it was impossible to fight back. She allowed her emotion to get hold of her. She realized that she could not fight her emotions back. Her emotions were overwhelming her.

Smack! Smack! Smack! Smack! Smack!

More punches came from Hinata and she finally showed her tears. Even though she was crying, she still punched the crap out of Sakura more. But the more she punched, the more she realized it. Once she realized that she had been holding her angers for years, she could not handle anymore. She finally broke down.

Sakura did take a lot of beaten from Hinata. She currently closed her eyes, panting to gather some of oxygen back in her. It was painful to take a lot of beaten, but she knew if she fought back, Hinata and her feud would never end. If it would go like that, it would make worse. She was glad that she let Hinata to beat her up to vent her anger. Good thing she took a beaten worse than the current in the past. That's why she was able to deal with the pain right now.

Water fell on her face, and she immediately opened her eyes, only to find that Hinata was… crying?

"Hinata-san…?"

Hinata knew she was crying in front of Sakura, but she does not care anymore. She had an enough with holding back her anger. She knew she had to let it out. All out of her chest. Holding grudges forever won't help either. It was not good health anyways.

"That day…" Hinata sniffed. "The day before I graduated… I met a man. He's so dirty douchebag. I was training, trying to surpass Neji with my hard work, but no matter what I do, I was always a weak! Father thought I was truly disgrace! He thought I was not a true Hyuuga! So I trained, and trained harder! I thought… by training, I could prove it to Father, but it was worthless! So one day… during that day..."

Sakura noticed that Hinata was growling in low tone. Obviously, it implied that Hinata had a bad past for something that should not be repeated. She knew that, because she had a past problem. She used to be bully by girls, due to her large forehead. She used to be shy girl, just like Hinata used to be. Girls always poke at her forehead for fun and called her an ugly bitch. She was very depressed. Until Ino came, she helped her to face them. Ino helped her to change her personality. That's why she, for some reason, felt similar to Hinata.

"I heard the scream—that was Hanabi's voice—so I was so scared that something might happen to her, so I went to check on her." Hinata hissed, remembering what exactly the most horrible moments she had in her whole life. "What I saw was horrible. I witnessed the most tragedy in my whole life! That man pulled her pants down and threatened her if should she attempt something so suspicious, he would kill her. I was so scared. I was a coward. I did not know what to do. I realized if he's done with her, I would be next! So I did nothing and watched. But when I see that he was pulling her pants down, I realized that he was going to rape her! Every time she resisted, he hit her and tell her to be quiet! She was looking at me with plead and scream at me for help. She cried! I knew if I did not do something, she would be victim of rapist and I would be next.

"So… I snapped… Next thing I knew, that man was killed… a pound of blood next to him. At that time… I thought it was Hanabi. I thought she somehow countered him and killed him. But she did not. She told me that I did. She saw something different in me. She told me that I was looking at him with killing intent. But I refused to admit that I did. I thought I would never do something like that. I would never kill every one!"

Sakura truly was shocked to hear such news from Hinata. She never knew that Hinata had to face tougher past. Now, she was going to listen to every details of Hinata's story despite that Hinata was still sitting on her.

"Then Father came. I'm sure he heard Hanabi's scream. I was afraid that Hanabi might tell her about what happened and what I just did. I did not want him to know that I might have two personalities, but I thought she might tell him, so I was prepared for it. Instead, she told him that she did. She killed him before he could rape her. I was surprised. I was grateful that she would keep my secret. So since that day, I decided to protect her from on now. I won't let anything happen to her. She doesn't know that I vowed to protect her from on now because of her Hyuuga blood. She inherited from Hyuuga and that's her pride. That's why she doesn't know even now."

'She had two personalities? Like Inner Sakura and me?'wondered Sakura. 'There's difference between me and her, and she faced worse situation that I did in our childhood. It must have been hard for her.'

Hinata punched—not Sakura—on the ground. No matter how many times she wiped her tears, her tears kept coming. "I broke my vows—that I would protect her! She died, because of m—No…" She glared at Sakura. "BECAUSE OF YOU!"

Before Hinata was going to punch her, Sakura cried, "Listen!" Hinata stopped her fist, stared in confusion at her. "Listen… Remember when you were there three days ago? You were there fighting one of Root ANBU on roof of my parents' house, right? You were distracted, and my parents died, right? In that case, did I once blame you, for you allowed that to happen?"

Hinata recalled the event when she tried to convince Sakura to eat the sandwich this morning.

Flashback Began

Hinata had no time to wait. She would not waste her time on any crap, unless she would be with Naruto-kun for some nonsense business! She knocked on the door.

"Hey, you crying bitch! If you are not going to open the door, I am going to break it and show this sandwich in your mouth! Now open the damn door!"

"SHUT UP! I told you to leave me alone! And I am not going to open the door for a stalker like you! Sure as hell, I am not going to open the door for someone who allowed my parents to die, you ugly bitch!"

Flashback Ended

Hinata growled in annoyance. "Of course I remember! You blamed me for allowing your parents to die!"

Sakura smiled. "Indeed, I blamed you… But did I beat you up just because you allowed them to die?"

Hinata widened her eyes. She realized that Sakura was right. Sakura never once beat her up just because her parents died.

"I may have made a mistake by blaming you, but I never beat you up. I'm sorry. I'm really sorry. But I never wanted to kill you just because you allowed that to happen. Because I knew it was not your fault. You were distracted, that's all… That's why I can forgive you."

Sakura was right. She never got in fight with her because of her parents' death. Now Hinata's sister died, and she went on rampage and started beating up on Sakura just because of her sister's death. Did she make a mistake? Did she think by blaming someone would make her feel better? Right now, sure as hell, she did not feel better by beating Sakura up. What if Sakura was being honest? What if she was fighting someone else, as she tried to tell her? What if she never betrayed Hinata? It was just coincidence that Hanabi was killed while Sakura was being occupied with someone else.

'Am I really that pathetic?'Hinata wondered. She looked at Sakura, and finally realized that she actually beat her up harder. 'Maybe she deserved it…'She shook her head.'No! Why would I think that? Why would she deserve it? It's me who deserved it after all! Dammit!'She shut her eyes, as she shed the tears.

"Hinata-sama…"

Hinata quickly opened her eyes in surprise. It was first time that Sakura called her 'Hinata-sama'. If she recalled correctly, Sakura told her that she refused to call her until she earned her respect. But she didn't do anything right. Why?!

"Hinata-sama… Just let all out. Only one time…" Sakura smiled happily. "I will allow you to kill me with a kunai. Slit my throat. I will not resist at all."

"What?!" shocked Hinata.

Sakura chuckled. She looked up at the clouds. Wow! She just realized that the clouds were so peaceful and so relaxed. Maybe Shikamaru was right after all. "This is your chance. This is one-time offer. You may choose to kill me, or you may not. However, if you kill me, you know the consequence."

Unknown to them, Tsunade, Kiba, and Akamaru were in shocked, and Shino remained silent. It was hard to tell if he was in shocked or not thanks to his stupid sunglasses hiding his eyes.

Each to their reaction may be different:

'Stupid girl! Why would you suggest something like that to Hinata?!'thought Tsunade.

'Are you crazy or what, Sakura?!'worried Kiba. Akamaru whimpered.

Reluctantly, Hinata gritted her teeth, allowing her hair to hang down, shadowing her face while grabbing her kunai from her pouch. More tears bellowed from her eyes as she put her kunai on Sakura's throat. Her hands were shaking so hard. She was too afraid to kill Sakura. She hated Sakura, but she did not know why. Maybe she did not actually hate Sakura? Maybe she just happened to hold a grudge? Perhaps jealous? Or is it because of her sister's death and Sakura was never there which made her temperature going up?

Sakura just noticed that Hinata was hesitated to kill her, and she knew why. She smiled, "What's wrong? I told you this is one-time offer, didn't I? What're you waiting for? Kill me already!"

Hinata pushed Sakura's head into the ground, as she placed the sharp of her kunai right on Sakura's throat. She was really anxious, because her hands were trembling. She just had to think whether she should kill Sakura or not. But there had to be reason why Sakura drilled Hinata into killing her. For some reason, she was hesitated to kill Sakura. But… she couldn't do it! She let her arms down and started to relax, but more tears shed.

"Hinata-sama?"

She dropped the kunai. "I… I can't do it!" Hinata sobbed, as she shook her head with tears coming off her face. "I tried! I can't do what you told me to! I feel like my brain's telling me to kill you, but my heart telling me not to kill you! I followed my heart! I… I don't know why! I am so confused!"

"Because you're my friend," Sakura said with a benevolent smile.

Hinata widened her eyes and mouth gaping open. "Y-Your… friend?"

"That's right. You're my friend, Hinata-sama. You consider me to be your friend, so do I."

"But…" Hinata glowered at Sakura. "How could you still consider me to be your friend? I was always bitching to you since you came back, and I beat you and almost killed you, yet you considered me as your friend?!"

"Listen," Sakura chortled, "if you would. Looks like you calm down. That means I can tell you what's going on… About why I was not there."

Hinata shot her head up and started at her like she was so ready to listen to the story. After all, Hinata wanted to know why.

"When I rescued Hokage-sama," Sakura sighed as she began to explain the story to Hinata. "I was trapped into the Board & Quiz game. It was a dangerous game where life and death actually mattered in the game. Loser gets to die. So I won the game… fast. My opponent died… Like in five minutes. But I was shot by an energy gun and I almost died. Fortunately, I was saved. Do you know who saved me?! It was Kiba! That's why I couldn't make it. That's why I couldn't be there in time to save your sister! But… I can't do anything! If possible, I would like to save your sister if there was no inference! I would have stopped Danzo if there was no inference! None of this would have happened if there was no inference either!"

Hinata widened her eyes, shocked. She tried to find deception on Sakura's face, yet, none was found. This evidence proved that Sakura was telling the truth – that Sakura was being honest to Hinata, and she actually considered her to be a friend. That's whole new level to their friendship. Now, Hinata started to trust Sakura. That's what Sakura was striving for to gain her trust. Hinata wondered if she could owe Sakura someday.

"In that case…" Hinata hung her head down with her hair covering her eyes. Sakura could tell that she was crying, even though her face was covered with her hair.

"In that case…" Hinata hung her head down with hair covering her eyes to hide her tears, but Sakura still knew anyways. "I'm sorry!" she screamed on top of her lungs.

Sakura placed her hand on Hinata's shoulder and chuckled. "For what?"

"What're you talking about?! I was being hard on you for a month!" Hinata still yelled with more tears coming down from her eyes. "I was jealous of you! I hated everything about you! You have everything I don't! When you came back, all my friends came to you! I found out that you got Naruto! I was so mad that you got him, not me! I started to blame you for everything! Even when my sister died, I blamed you too… Even my sister…" She choked for a moment. "…Even my sister died in hand of Danzo, I blamed you! I blamed you for her death… I blamed you for her death because of my jealously! I… I never once think what I did was wrong! I'm so sorry!"

Sakura's mouth twitched into a smile. "Hey… It's okay. Look, we're going to pay Danzo back… for your sister… and my parents."

Hinata wiped her tears, and sniffed. "I promise I won't do it again! I will never do it again! But… Danzo's getting away." She said with a disappoint look on the last part.

"That's all right. Danzo's laying down for a while. Besides, we have a bigger enemy to deal with anyways. Oh, by the way, do you mind getting off of me? You've been sitting on me for a while. And, also, they're watching us right now."

"Huh?" confused Hinata.

Sakura chuckled, looking at a random direction. "Hokage-sama, Kiba-san and Shino-san, you guys can come out. I know you're there."

Hinata widened her eyes. "What?!" She looked at the direction where Sakura was looking at. Indeed, Tsunade, Kiba, and Shino did come out of the forest, revealing themselves to them. "Kiba-kun?!"

"Surprise!" Kiba grinned at his girlfriend. "Oh, look at you! You're sitting on her, like as if you both are lesbian lovers!"

Hinata and Sakura blushed, as they stared at each other. Sure, they were embarrassed enough right now. Hinata quickly stood up, as she grabbed Sakura's hand to stand up.

"Haha! You're so lesbian!" laughed Kiba. Akamaru whimpered, as he sat down and put his paws on his head.

Poor Kiba! He never knew what he had coming for him!

"SHUT UP!" Hinata and Sakura yelled simultaneously, as Kiba took two punches to the face at the same time, which made him fall onto the ground.

Comically, Kiba immediately sat up, and rubbed his stinging nose. "Ouch! You really hurt my nose you know!" Akamaru hurried to him, licking his face. "Okay, Akamaru! I know! I know!"

Hinata and Sakura smiled. Sakura was so grateful that Kiba saved her life. Hinata was also grateful that Sakura knocked some sense into her. If Sakura was dead, who knows what would happen to Hinata? She was going to thank Kiba for it.

"Hey, Sakura. Come here," said Tsunade. Sakura obeyed her orders, as she approached her only to be healed.

'What should I do? Now I can't use Ki anymore. No matter how many times I tried to use Ki, it seemed that I can't even use it anymore. If that's the case, how can I protect the village from Coola if Naruto and Sasuke are going to be late? What should I do? Oh, wait! That's right!'Sakura pondered. She diverted her pupil to Hinata who's folding her arms. 'Only she can protect the village from Coola for a while. It seems to me that she has a potential to become stronger in such a short amount of times, according to Elementian traits. Since she has a large amount of chakra thanks to her training for years, she could easily surpass Kuririn in a week!'

"You know, as a Hokage, I was going to stop you, but I'm against it. Not because I wanted to watch you getting beaten up, but because I want to see how you can deal with each other. Had I stop you, you probably would never end this madness. But… you're so reckless, Sakura!"

Sakura winced at her comments. "Sorry…"

"You should not tell Hinata to slit your throat, even if you knew that she would not kill you! But what if you were wrong?! What if she snapped and she killed you anyways?!"

Sakura's hair stood out, almost as if she had seen a ghost or something. Tsunade was right. She had gone to the point where Hinata could have killed her! It was risky after all. She risked her life by telling Hinata to slit her throat. She was grateful that Hinata was not an insane girl!

"And Hinata…"

Hinata scowled. "What?" She still had her attitude. It must mean Hinata had calm down.

"If you successfully killed Sakura… I would have arrested you on spot! But thankfully, you did not kill her. I'm proud of you," reassured Tsunade.

Hinata shrugged, "Oh, well. It's not like I care or anything. At least problem solved right? So why do I need be told twice anyways?" In fact, she actually blushed when Tsunade told her that she was proud of her. She did not want to admit, but she was glad that Tsunade commended her.

"Now, for me…" Tsunade sweat-dropped. "I made bigger mistake in my life as well." Sakura and Hinata narrowed their eyes at Tsunade in a question. "I made a bet against Kiba… that Sakura cannot convince Hinata."

"Oh, shit! What did you bet on?!" asked a panic Hinata.

"If I lose the bet, I have to step down as Hokage once we've dealt with Coola!" announced Tsunade.

"Why? Because Kiba was mocking her that she would lose the bet," creepy bug lover finally spoke up!

What Hinata and Sakura's reactions were? That's right! They dropped their jaws to the ground with their eyes almost bulging out of their sockets (metaphorically).

Before Sakura or Hinata could say anything, a yell could be heard from the sky. "Sakura-san! Hinata-san!"

Sakura looked up and found Gohan in the sky approaching them. "Gohan-kun?!"

Gohan landed next to them and trotted over to Hinata. "Hinata-sama! Sorry, but I'm afraid I've got some bad news!"

"What is it?" Hinata rolled her eyes over and sighed. "Spit it out, Gohan-kun!"

"Hyuuga Hiashi, your father, has fallen."

They will go to find Danzo and question him whether or not if he allied himself with Coola. Chapter 110 will begin Coola and his men attacking Konoha.
