Clone Jerry: So, tell me again. Why are we back on Earth?

Vegeta: (Places Seven Dragon Balls on the ground) Because I must bring the original Jerry back to life, so I don't have to suffer your ridiculous godly power!

Clone Jerry: No, you mustn't use them! It's reversed for Elementians in case if they needed to be revived!

Vegeta: Ha, they can die for all I care! As long as I use Dragon Balls to get away from you. I like the original Jerry better! (Tries to use Dragon Balls)

Clone Jerry: (His eyes flares up with red eyes and pulled the book out of nowhere) Fine, if that's what you wished, then you give me no choice but to use this! (Uses the pen to write the book) Vegeta changed his mind about the Dragon Balls, so he decided to return them to Roshi and returned to the spaceship to return to the Outer Space in the search for Kakarrot.

Vegeta: (Confusion) Huh? What're you talking? Oh, shit! (Suddenly gathered the Dragon Balls) What the?! What am I doing?! (Returns them to Roshi) No! I can't be stuck with this crazy guy! (Cannot break his will, as he returns to the spaceship) Must not press this button! (He presses the button, as the spaceship launched off into the outer space) NOOOOOOOOO! (Start crying)

Clone Jerry: Haha, even I wrote this to make you seem OOC! (Retreats to his room with maniac laughter)

Vegeta: DAMMMMMMMNNNN YOU!

Chapter 106: Konoha Invansion Begins!

Age 763, December 1- The Gate, Konohagakure, Land of Fire, Planet Element- With Coola

Coola, Paradox, and Guure stood by the gateway while Konoha-nin guarded it, not allowing them to enter even though they knew that he was too powerful for them to handle.

Coola smirked. Guure remained emotionless, seemed like there was not a care in the world. Paradox was rather out of character, as he looked rather disappoint already.

Usually, he would grin whenever they were about to attack villages, but today, he wasn't happy for a reason.

"Yo! That Nagato guy was very interesting character to me. He founded Akatsuki, and led them, but to think the masked man took his leadership out of Akatsuki. I supposed you picked up the wrong opponent, huh, Coola-sama?" He tried to be cheerful, but it was futile. Right now, he was carrying the big pot as his backpack. "Now, that would be nice if we bring Fye with us here. I'd love to see their face when they realized Elementian's on our side. But eh, whatever! It's been two hours, and who knows what'd happen to him? He's alive, I'd say!"

"Be quiet. It's more annoying when I have to hear your voice," said Guure calmly, though he was more annoyed anyways.

"If I had a nickel for every time you belittled me, I would be rich right now!" Paradox waved his fingers and shook his head in a mocking way. "Say, if we had to compare cats and frogs… when the cat saw a frog crossing the road because it saw a fly when a car was going to run over the frog. So the cat went to the frog in attempt to save him, but they both died anyways. So cat came back and walked, but frog didn't. Do you know why?"

Paradox smirked. He knew he'd hit the bottom when Guure shot him a suspecting glare.

"Because the cat had nine lives, the frog just croaked." Paradox finished with a victory grin with a little chuckle.

"Do you know what I see in you?" Guure asked, which Paradox confused and was not sure what he was droning on. "You're a fly. That's what I see in you. You're bugging me."

Coola snickered a little, but fortunately, it went on unnoticed. He found this funny, because Guure just made a comeback where Paradox couldn't find a way to make a comeback anyways. Time Warrior just stammered in attempt to make a comeback.

"Uh… You—Hmm… I—Ah—Never mind!" Paradox turned his back on Guure, scowling at the loss of joke war.

Izumo watched the exchange between Paradox and Guure, as he was sweat dropping at that. They were so nonchalant, as they made a joke here. What a strange for them to be so relax when they're about to invade Konoha. He was very cautious about them. They could strike at any time, so he would have to be careful with them. He remembered about three days ago when Kotetsu died in hand of Coola's underling.

No, he could not risk his life or everyone's life by making any fuss about it. All he could do is to watch them and wait for ANBU to come out.

Ah, speak of devil, a couple of ANBUs appeared right here, but they did not kneel, while they stood up to them. Coola was impressed by their bravery. No single of Konoha-nin actually kneeled before them.

'These Elementians have too much pride in themselves even for them to refuse to kneel before me. If I was Freeza…' Coola amused, shaking his head at the thought of what Freeza would have done in his place.

Since his time on Element for a month, most Elementians he had seen always stood up to them and did not quiver in fear when it's time for them to die. They were fearless, and weren't afraid to face their death. They'd rather to protect their villages or planet than being quivered in fear and see their villages or their world to burn.

That's what he admired them so far. He admired them for being brave. That's why he respected Elementians. Even thought, they have so much pride like Saiyans, they were different from them. Unlike Saiyans, they'll do everything to protect their home or people. They have very much respect for them.

That's probably why he recruited Fayre into Planet Trade Organization. There's a reason why he recruited Fayre, because he knew he was partly Saiyan. He never told Fayre that, but he just knew it.

"You'll have a permission to enter the Konoha," said the ANBU. "Your wish to see Hokage is granted. I'll lead you to her, so follow me." A couple of ANBU walked down the road by leading Coola and his men to Hokage's Mansion. Izumo came along by. Even though ANBU were escorting them, he felt the responsible for his friend's death, so he would have to be there to make sure that there's no trouble on way.

There were so many bystanders that were terrified of them. They were so scared that they could possibly be exterminated in any second. Every civilian was outside, staring in fear at them. They were so terrified even that they were unable to move.

They also saw a bunch of ninjas on the top of roof, in case it would get messy here. They heard ninjas that said some words about them.

"So that bastard finally decided to come by?" Kiba said.

"Shush, Kiba! Coola might heard you! Don't get us killed now!" Ino chided him.

"Shit! Hinata-chan and Sakura-chan are at mission right now! This is bad! What a terrible timing for them!" Kiba rambled.

"They'll kill us sooner or later. Why, you ask? Because they're not the type to show everyone a mercy. Sakura and Hinata may be only ones that we're counting on until then," said Shino.

"B-B-But they're here earlier! I-I thought they'd be here next three days! I'm not even ready! I heard that they're so strong even that Sasuke can't take on. Maybe not even Sakura and Hinata can take them on, Shino!" said Choji, rapidly eating the chip from the bag.

"Then you better be ready, Choji! Before they came for Sunagakure, I've heard so many awful things about them, and what they've done. They've destroyed another four villages so far now. This might be their fifth casaulities, so we have to defend ourselves when there's a time to come to!" Tenten said. "Right, Lee-kun?"

No response for a while, and Tenten called him again. "Lee? Are you okay?"

"Where's Fayre?" asked Lee. Paradox recognized this kid. The kid who resembled the guy that Fayre fought before.

"I don't know." Tenten shrugged, "Maybe he died, too?"

"No, he's alive. I'm sure of it. He's still alive. He must be out somewhere there."

Paradox almost scoffed at them, but he kept himself in silence, as he gathered in thought. 'Fye… Hurry up and finish your fight, so you can get your revenge on Kakashi!'

On the other side of the road, a boy with ridiculous long scarf said, "Damn, why not we go there and kick their ass already right now?! They even terrorized the civilians without actually doing anything here!"

The boy was about to come after them, but a jounin stopped him by holding his collar of his shirt. "Konohamaru, if you attack them, there's chance that they will start attacking us. Stick to your mission. Our mission is to evacuate civilians."

Even though the jounin attempted to whisper only to his trio students, Guure was able to hear them. 'Evacuate? I wonder where they will evacuate civilians to. No other villages have done that before. No wonder why Konohagakure have better reputation than other four villages.'

"Ebisu-sensei is right. We're supposed to evacuate civilians." Guure overheard the sleepy-look boy that made the comment.

"That's right. We'll do our best to ensure that all civilians are safe and harmless," said the orange-haired girl that tied up into two large pigtails.

"Dammit!" Konohamaru disappointed, as he kicked the dust on the roof.

While Izumo was following them on way to Hokage's mansion, it was getting intense, as every civilian were shaking with all of their body. 'Damn… This isn't the day. We weren't prepared for it. If we have known that they were on way, we would have finished escorting them by then.'

He heard some kids' comments such as:

"Mom, I'm so scared!"

"Dad, Mom, are those bad guys?"

"I'm too scared!"

"When will they go away?"

"GO AWAY, YOU MONSTERS!"

Izumo was so surprised when the rock chucked on Paradox's head. He freaked out when the rock hit Paradox even though that man was not harmed by it, and he looked around, just to find the kid who held a couple of rocks, looking angry. That kid probably looked like 10 years old. Older than most kids he had heard commented.

Even so, Izumo was afraid what Paradox might do to them. Coola and his men even stopped, and looked directly at the angry kid. Will Coola order an attack on them? Will Coola kill that kid? SO many question that stormed his brain.

Before the kid could make an angry throw, his Mom tackled him down and yelled, "STOP!"

"NO! LET ME GO!" The boy screamed, as he moved around rapidly in attempt to break free of his Mother's holding. "That monsters scared my sister!"

Izumo realized, and looked at three years old girl who cried a lot. 'Oh, crap! I need to do something before they start killing them!'

Paradox turned around and started walking towards them. Mom would hug her son and her daughter tightly, trying to cover them from the enemy. She looked pale, as she's sweating so badly.

Most civilians started to tremble, but it worsened than before. Every ninjas reacted to Paradox's action by shifting into their fighting stance, even a couple of ANBUs.

Izumo appeared in front of them and spread his arm to protect them from Paradox, as he shot Paradox a glare, despite sweating bullets on his forehead. "You don't dare!"

Paradox gave them a smug smirk.

Izumo gulped nervously. He knew Paradox could effortlessly kill them. Despite that, he chose to protect them with all his life. He knew that he was trembling very badly right now. He was never this scared before. That's probably because he knew they were too powerful, and they could destroy the planet anytime if they wanted to.

Luckily, Paradox did not have a choice of his own, so he looked at Coola for an order. "What should I do with them? Should I kill them?"

Coola gave him a soft chuckle, as he shook his head and returned his sight on the Hokage's Mansion. "No, we can always kill them later. But for now, we need to see Hokage and confirm the whereabouts of Naruto."

Paradox shrugged nonchalantly and grinned down at ten years old boy beneath Mom behind Izumo. "You're brave boy, I'll give you that! But guess what? You heard him. You're so lucky now, but next time, you won't have your luck! So until then, see ya later!" He turned away and returned to Coola's side with a couple of ANBUs leading them, as they continued their journey towards the Hokage's Mansion.

Civilians and Konoha shinobi sighed with a relief, except Izumo. His legs were so shaky that he was froze when he came this close to Paradox. He just realized that he held breath too long, so he finally breathed, but his feet could not hold on the ground too long, as he immediately went on his knees, panting hyperventilation.

Only few Konoha ninjas noticed him trembling on his knees. They leapt over to him to check up on him and see if he's okay.

"Izumo?" asked a concerned Ino.

"Are you okay?" asked Moegi as well.

Asuma and Kurenai rushed to Izumo's side, wanting to see if he was okay. They weren't there when Coola and others entered Konohagakure. They arrived a bit late, so they missed the whole scene, but they saw Izumo trembling on the floor, so they would like to know.

"You're trembling?" Kurenai asked in shock. "Are they hurting you? What happened, Izumo?"

Izumo was so scared even that he could not get up for a moment there. Instead of getting up to his feet, he began to explain while holding his hand and his knees on the ground. "I-I-I never felt like that before! For some reason, I felt pressure that emitted the aura from that guy, and even now I still feel it! When he was this close to me, I felt a huge pressure from him. I could swear that he could kill me… effortlessly. So I feared if I blink even for a second, it would be over for me in an instant! Despite willing to die to protect the kid and his mom, I-I was so scared!"

"Yeah, we felt that, too." Lee spoke up. Suddenly, he had many pair of eyes set on him. He then sighed and began to explain. "Before we fought Fayre… when Coola and other two guys passed by us, we could felt high pressure aura from them, even though we can't sense their Ki.

Flashback Began- Age 763, November 27- Land of Wind- With Rock Lee and Others

Paradox grumbled, "Despite us being on time, they like to get in our way! Shall I put them out of their misery?" He brought his hand forward and charged an energy sphere.

"Paradox, no." Fye said sternly.

Paradox growled, "What does that make you to stop me this time?"

"Because I know this guy…" Fye pointed at the stunned Gai. "I'm going to fight them. Guure and you are supposed to destroy Sunagakure soon."

'What? They're going to destroy it? But we just left Sunagakure!' thought Lee.

Paradox scowled, "B-But—"

"As you wish…" Coola interrupted, "Let's go, Paradox, Guure." Paradox trudged away, and mumbled about wishing to fight with Gai and the others. Guure stayed calm and collective as usual, and joined the group's walking pace.

Suddenly, the atmosphere was tense. Gai and others flustered at Coola and his henchmen as they got a good close-up on them.

For some odd reason, they could just feel the immense power of Coola and his henchman, which perturbed Gai and others, even though they couldn't sense Ki.

Flashback Ended

Rock Lee recalled the event when Neji died. He was pretty upset by that event. But he was rejoiced when he was told that Neji and Gai (Presumably dead) can be brought back to life with the Dragon Balls on different planet called Earth!

"They're too strong. I don't think we can take them. If they want to, they can kill us by right now already." Tenten commented.

"What's more, one of Coola's men—the one we fought against—is Elementian like us." Lee paused, checking what their reactions would be, but then he remembered that he told them when he and Tenten returned. "It was three-on-one against Fayre. We can't even beat him, although he doesn't use Ki. When we were fighting him, we also felt his aura. His aura is large than most of us. But he's not here, isn't he?"

"Then he can use Ki, like Team 7 trio?" asked Ino.

Lee shook his head. "I don't know. Neji used Byakugan on him. He only confirmed that Fayre used chakra, but didn't say anything about Ki."

Gazing down the floor, Izumo widened his eyes in shock after Lee explained his fight against Fayre and Coola and others' presence. He gulped, with his hands trembling in fear. "W-We're gonna dead, a-aren't we?" He quickly shut his eyes down and slammed his fists on the ground. "D-Dammit!" He began to wonder if he's going to see Kotetsu in afterlife today when he would die.

Asuma smoked the cigarette, just like his Dad smoked the pipe, and sighed, "Even if we're going to die today, we have to protect Konohagakure with our life until we die. Remember the Shinobi rule. We're supposed to fight for our village no matter what. We're pawn. Sometimes, sacrifice have to be made, so king can live on. Just like in shogi."

"Huh? You mentioned that to Shikamaru, too, Asuma-sensei." Ino recalled.

Choji chewed one of chip, and shallowed before asking, "Asuma-sensei… Who is the King then?"

"Obviously, Hokage-sama is the King!" Konohamaru stated, but paused for a while and just realized it. He sighed with a deadpan on his face. "Although, our current Hokage is the female. Technically, she would be the Queen, huh?"

Asuma smiled, taking a puff from his cigarette and allowed the smoke to ooze out of his mouth into the air. He ruffled Konohamaru's hair. "No, Hokage-sama is not the King. The very ones we're going to protect tonight, Konohamaru."

"Huh?" confused Konohamaru. He literally had no idea what Uncle Asuma talking about. He had not answer who the King is. Who are the very ones they were going to protect?

Now new Jounin trio arrived at the scene. It was Yamanaka Inoichi, Nara Shikaku, and Akimichi Choza. As soon as they arrived, there was no time to chit-chat.

Shikaku already ordered them. "All right! If we want to keep civilian's life intact, we better start evacuating them right now! Hurry before Coola decided to start attacking here! Go, go, go!"

Immediately after the order, they agreed with them, as they began evacuating civilians of Konohagakure in hope to secure them from the bad guys. Most Jounins scattered to evacuate the civilians across most areas in Konohagakure. It was big village after all.

Numbers of people that lived in Konoha would estimate 80,000 people living in Konoha, including both civilians and ninjas. About 15,000 ninjas and 60,000 civilians. So it would be so hard to evacuate every single civilian of Konohagakure, but ninjas are going to try their best to evacuate all. All they could hope is for Hokage to stall Coola and others.

"Come! This way, if you want to live! Follow me, everyone!" Izumo shouted, getting every civilian in the area nearby. Civilians' life came first before himself. That's why he shook up his fear, as he quickly got up to begin evacuating. "Come! No time to pack in! Leave everything! They're not worth to your life!" He yelled at one of guys who tried to come back in the house, but he was stopped immediately.

Civilians agreed with him effectively immediately, as they began to follow Asuma. Rest of other ninja would have to evacuate in their assigned area. Maybe few thousands ninjas would evacuate civilians, while another few thousands ninjas would look out for any possible upcoming threats.

Hokage's Mansion- With Gohan and Others

"They're coming, Hokage-sama! They just entered a moment ago!" said Gohan, looking through the window. He just witnessed what little boy did to one of Coola's men. In fact, Kuririn and Gohan almost threw themselves into the fight if one of Coola's men ever should kill the kid. Thankfully, Izumo was there to stop the upcoming possible fight.

"Oh, great! This isn't supposed to happen today!" Kuririn roughly rubbed his own bald head in a panic manner. "Dammit! Sakura hasn't gotten her power back! Naruto and Sasuke haven't return from their training. Even though we can hold them off, I don't think we can ever last that longer. They'll just destroy us when they're boring enough."

"NO!" Gohan said sharply, startling Kuririn off a little. "We can hold them back! If Naruto-san and Sasuke-san, or even Sakura-san haven't return, we will try our best and hold them off even longer!"

Kuririn chuckled nervously. "Gohan…" He placed his hand on Gohan's shoulder who's frowned at him and gave him very long sigh. "This time, it's different. We have held Freeza back very longer until our hero saved the day. But this is different. We'll have three powerful enemies to face at the same time. You sensed them right? They're too strong, even for Naruto handle at the same time. Even Sasuke had his ass kicked by one of his men. I may have died sooner or later. How do you think how many times I have died? I died once, ya know. Our luck may run out this time."

Gohan knitted his eyebrows and deepened his frown at the bald midget.

Kuririn turned around, looking around the room, gazing at every person in this room and shrugged his hands nonchalant. "Maybe, we should abandon Elementians and take Bulma with us to go back to Earth. It would be best for us if we want to live. Do you agree, Gohan? Should we leave Element? After all, this story should never exist ever! Screw everyone, I'd say!"

He laughed nervously, as he glanced slowly over his shoulder at Gohan. When he stole a glance at the hybrid-Saiyan, Gohan was very disappoint. "Just kidding! I hope you didn't think I was being serious."

"No, but you broke the fourth walls." Tsunade spoke up from her chair, sitting in front of the desk, waiting for Coola and his men to arrive.

Kuririn rubbed his bald head sheepishly, "Oh, did I? Oh, yeah, I think I just did."

Gohan sighed, "Kuririn-san…" He shook his head at Kuririn's timing of a joke like that. But he laughed anyways. Everyone just decided to laugh along with him. They laughed with a joy. Sandaime Hokage, stood by the wall just a moment ago, still smoked the pipe with a little amusement chuckle. Kuririn even laughed with his hands scratching his bald head.

Kuririn was the first one to stop laughing, so did everyone afterward. He gazed down and smiled a little. "Ya know… This may be our last laughing today and tonight, if we ever died after all."

"No!" Gohan shook his head, raising his fists and clenching his fists. His face was full of determination, just like he had back on Namek. "We all aren't going to die! It happened before on Namek, and it'll happen here again! We're going to win! We definitely are going to win!"

"Gohan's right, Kuririn. We're going to win. I'll count on Naruto, Sasuke, and Sakura to save our world from someone like Coola! But…" Tsunade looked down, frowning. "But there will be always death in the war. No teams ever win the war without any deaths. I'll make sure that we're going to win, but some or even many of us will die during the battle. Coola or not, we'll wed out the evils."

Gohan frowned, not liking how this was going. He had seen too many deaths, and he did not wish to see deaths anymore. He never liked fighting, but he had to, because there's so many evils out who wanted to destroy the planets for whatsoever reason. "B-But—"

"Gohan, Kuririn…" Tsunade interrupted, as she set her sights firmly on the door, feeling that Coola and his men would enter soon. "No matter what… Do not attack until on my order. Aliens or not, you're on our planets, and you're in our village. No matter what until I said so. Do you understand, Gohan, Kuririn?"

Gohan and Kuririn simply nodded, immediately agreed with her.

Suddenly, they heard the knock on the door. Gohan, Kuririn, and Shizune tensed, as they started to feel nervous because Coola could enter at any moment. They also worried that Coola and his men could enter at any moment and started attacking immediately.

"They're here," muttered Sandaime Hokage. He knew he would have to fight them when the time is coming. 'It's been a while since last time I fought. When did I fight last time? Oh, yes… During Chuunin Exam, but I had an easy opponent. I guess last time I fought seriously was against the Kyuubi 15 years ago.'

'Shit! I have to stay calm. I can't show fear. I know they're too strong. I know I can't take them on. But…' Tsunade stopped at the end of her thought, as she put it aside for now. Then she yelled, "Come in!"

The door creaked, and open, as little sunlight shined on the floor, too bright to see their face until it dimmed down.

Kuririn started to sweat down on his forehead, gulping nervously. 'He looks like Freeza!'

Gohan bared his teeth, glaring at Coola. That Coola reminded him of Freeza too much. He almost looked like him. Except their colors were different and their features on the face were also different. Only similar were their bodies and their eyes. He did not wish to repeat just like on Namek. He did not want to let Element to blow up. It would be nightmare for Naruto, Sasuke, and Sakura.

'That's Coola? And those are his men?' Shizune stunned, embracing Tonton to her chest tightly. Tonton just oinked, looking fear. It probably knew what Coola and his men were.

'It's not surprising that they're so strong. So they must be guys Sasuke were talking about.' Sandaime Hokage reassured himself in this critical situation.

Tsunade gritted her teeth, trying to calm down. She never felt something like that before. Now she knew why Lee tensed up when they were this close in his story. They were too powerful. 'Not even Kages can handle them, huh? That's why they were able to destroy all other four villages. I have to stall them until Sakura gets her power back.'

Here Coola, Paradox, and Guure were standing before their own eyes, who were being escorted by two ANBUs. Two ANBUs whom kept their eyes on Coola and others to prepare for their sudden attacks.

Despite them being calm, on the inside, they were terrorized, knowing that they could be disposed at any time even when they all are prepared for it.

They destroyed four villages since their arrival on this planet.

Kirigakure…

Kumogakure…

Iwagakure…

And…

Sunagakure…

'I'm going to make sure that I… I will not let them destroy our village as well! For Konohagakure… and for Element!' thought Tsunade. 'Now, I'll need to stall them a little more, until Hinata comes back, or Sakura gets her power back. Even if Naruto or Sasuke can't make it on time...'

Coola scanned every person in this room. He saw the old man with the pipe in his mouth, raven-haired woman with the pig in her arm, blonde-haired woman sitting on the chair behind the desk in front of him, and finally there was a shorty bald man with six dots on his forehead along with the black-haired kid.

His mouth turned into a smirk, and he then greeted them all. "Hello, Hokage."

Cryptology Office- With Bulma

"This is hopeless!" frustrated Bulma.

"So what's technology like over on your planet?" asked a very curious Shiho sitting next to Bulma on her right side.

Annoying, Bulma looked at her with a desperate sigh. "For Kami's sake, stop bothering me! I'm trying to focus on this gun. Because this technology is further advanced than ours on Earth! If I can't modify it, this one probably will kill Sakura! So I need to keep it at minimum, so she won't have a chance of death, even though senzu bean is necessary. So… would you go back bothering your boyfriend, so I can finish this?"

Shikamaru had his hands in his pocket, and leaned his back against the table next to Bulma on her left side giving out a big sigh. "Troublesome women. I'd rather her to bother you than me."

"So being a lazy and all, you'd like to see this world to burn, Shikamaru?" Bulma frowned with a disappointment towards a lazy boy.

"If I want to see the world to burn, I wouldn't be here. So no, I wouldn't want to see this world to burn. Because if it was, Element wouldn't exist, and we all would be dead already," Shikamaru reassured, and then he closed his eyes with a sigh. "It's just that everything is so troublesome. Eventually, we're going to die. As Sakura said it herself, Coola is the most powerful we'd have to face. If we're unlucky, he might kill us in one shot if he wants to."

"…No, he won't."

"What?" Shikamaru glanced down at Bulma who was fixating on the laser gun.

"They won't get a job done pretty quickly. They're going to drag the fight very longer. Playing around with their opponent, most likely. Unlike here on this planet, they really like to play around until they get bored of it." Bulma was staring deeply at the laser gun, frowning. "I know it… I know it because I've seen what Saiyans do to their opponent. And I've heard what Freeza does to Goku. Freeza played around too much with Goku. IF Freeza is Coola's brother, then he shouldn't be any different after all."

Shikamaru nodded his head few times, folding his arms. "You're right. But... maybe that's the problem. To them, we're particularly powerless. Even if we're against Coola and his top henchmen, we won't be able to do so much against them. As a strategist, I won't be able to figure out their strength and weakness, and on how to defeat them. In comparison between our powers and their powers, we would only barely scratch them at all. Rests of his henchmen? Maybe."

Bulma looked up at Shikamaru with a smile. "That's why you're needed here. I think giving Hinata a power is the reason until Sakura comes back. When Hinata's fighting against them, you can create a plan a way to exploit their weakness, so that's way we can beat them. Even though you're powerless, you can do so much for your comrades, to keep them alive, to keep your opponent away, and to rid of your opponent by exploiting their weakness. You can do that. I know you can."

Shikamaru chuckled a little. "Heh, you're troublesome woman. All right, you've convinced me. But you're wrong about one thing. I never intended to run away. I'll make sure that I will survive through all fights to have us win. I won't give up."

"Says the guy who gave up to Sand girl in the Chuunin Exam." Bulma chuckled sarcastically.

Shikamaru shrugged, "Because fighting to last is too troublesome. I thought I can't make it to the end, and it would be troublesome if I had to fight through everything, so I gave up."

Silence started to fill the air, as Bulma started focusing on her gun. Shikamaru stared blankly, and Shiho would glue her eyes on him, flattering.

"So..." Bulma broke the silence so soon, as she looked at him.

"So… what?" He looked at her, waiting for her to finish the sentence.

"I wonder who won the Chuunin Exam. I mean, I know that tournament was interrupted when Gaara went out of control, and Hinata saved the village, but who do you think would won? I mean, without having Team 7 around here before."

"If Hinata saved the monster from us, then she would have won, right?" Shiho explained. "I mean, she went into the final against Gaara, but everything went messed when Gaara went insane and left the village. Hinata fought Gaara. Sandaime Hokage fought Kabuto. Hinata stopped him. Sandaime Hokage stopped Kabuto. But since Hinata saved Konohagakure from Gaara, I'd say he should have won the Chuunin Exam."

Shikamaru shook his head. "I can't say for sure. Even if Hinata saved us from Gaara, she had a help… and she won, of course. Now imagine if there was never an invasion or attacks for that matter, Hinata would have lost."

"I don't understand." Shiho looked up at Shikamaru with very confused. "If Hinata fought Gaara, even without help, would it technically be the same result? Hinata would find a way to defeat him. She's our hero, Shika-kun"

Shikamaru let his head back and breathed with a big sigh. "How troublesome." He moved his head down, boring into her eyes. "Listen, Shiho. There's big difference between normal fight and life-or-death situation. If she were to fought Gaara in the Chuunin Exam without inference, she probably would be any different compared to what we've seen during Chuunin Exam. When you fight knowing that Konoha could be destroyed, and it burdened you for that. They're depending on you. That gave you something… to fight for. But if you… you have nothing to fight for because you knew you had many chances. In life or death battle, you don't have second chance. Even if it's in Chuunin Exam, if you didn't make it, you can go back there next year. When you're fighting against someone in that situation, you have something to fight for then."

Suddenly, that gave Bulma an idea. She stood up so fast that the chair threw back. Shiho and Shikamaru looked at her with suspicious looks.

"Hope! You need a hope to have something to fight for. Without hope, there won't be any left for you to fight something for. I think I know why I'm struggling with the laser gun for almost four days. I'm struggling to modify it in its best condition. That's because I have no hope! Now I have a hope! I definitely can fix it and make it for best use!" Bulma put her chair back in the proper position and sat down to work on the laser gun again. "Thank you, Shikamaru!"

Shikamaru sighed, "How troublesome…"

Suddenly, a door busted open, as pre-teen boy barged in, panting heavily. "Bulma! There's trouble!"

"What's wrong, Inari?!" asked Shikamaru, worried.

Bulma had a bad feeling about that. There's something in Inari's eyes that she knew. It was a fear. It must mean something. Something's going on outside of Cryptology Office!

"It's Coola!" Inari announced immediately, while his body were filled with anxious. He couldn't shake the feeling off. When he found out that Coola and his men were here, he was so scared. But Kuririn and Gohan ordered him to go to Bulma to warn her about Coola and his men. "Coola and his men are here! They're meeting with Hokage right now, as we're speaking!"

"WHAT?!" Bulma, Shikamaru and Shiho cried simultaneously.

Danzo's ROOT Base- Sakura and Hinata vs ROOT

Sakura and Hinata were surrounded by around 200 Root members. They were ready to kill them, just as Danzo ordered them to. They knew they couldn't let Root attack them right on the bridge! If too many people were too much for the bridge to keep up, it might collapse, and they would fall! So that's the last thing they would want to fight on the bridge! But the problem is that they were surrounded!

There's a lesson that they learned in the academy: Never let them ambush you, especially at obvious ambush point. Always prepared for an ambush everywhere you go!

Clearly, they were not prepared for an ambush. They thought they could sneak and ambush them. But the table turned around on them.

"Oh, crap!" Sakura panicked, stood back to back with Hinata.

Hinata panicked a little, but then she remembered what she had right now, then she smiled a little. "Looks like this is good time to test my new powers here, Sakura!"

"Your new powers?" Sakura replied, while watching out for their enemies. "You only barely learned the use of Ki almost four days ago!"

Hinata scoffed. "You doofus! You're the one who told me about the hidden trait of Elementians. Something that Naruto hadn't figure out yet. 'Convertible Ki'?"

"Yeah, but this is only four days, even in Gravity Room. I mean, Orochimaru took two weeks to almost reach Vegeta's battle powers. Let's say, about 18,000. Based on his status as Saanin, and what we've heard about his history, it was said that he's as strong as Hokage, or even stronger. In other words, he reserved so much, much Chakra, even he was able to reach that peak so fast in just two weeks! That's the hidden trait of Elementian. Converted Chakra into Ki. Let's say… If Naruto carried the Kyuubi inside his stomach over to afterlife, he would have been stronger than Coola even before we arrived here. But when he came back from the death, his battle power was over 9,000. That's all in just one year. Without Kyuub's chakra…"

"Wow, that's… impressed," said Hinata proudly. Of course, she knew that Naruto could become powerful. After all, Naruto's Naruto. She immediately went into her Juuken stance when few members of Root prepared to leap down.

Sakura also went into her stance, frowning. "Sadly… Without Kyuubi's chakra, he had the normal chakra, just like most boys' chakra level. Well, a little more than that, thanks to his Uzumaki blood. At that chakra level, he was able to reach over 9,000. But Sasuke was at about 1,200 battle power in just one year. And I reached about 1,000 battle power. That's also in one year."

Three Root members finally leapt down towards Hinata, but she disposed of them very quickly using Juken. "Then how the hell can Naruto be that so strong?!" She yelled before slamming her palm on an additional member's chest who recently jumped down, instantly killing that one.

Sakura drew the blood from several Root members using her Kunai, killing few of them. "Remember I told you about Kaio? On Kaio's planet, it's gravity is roughly ten times the strength of both Element and Earth. Anyways, that's how Naruto's able to come this closer to Goku's battle powers at that time."

"WATCH OUT!" cried Hinata.

Until now, Sakura did not pay attention when she was talking to Hinata. She was distracted at that moment. Root members used that opportunity to attack, and now so many Root members leapt down on them at once. But one of them carried large sword that already swung towards her neck.

Sakura immediately reacted to that attack by ducking down, but she was unable to react to next attack when a swordsman brought a hard knee to her face, knocking her away past Hinata, as her body skidded on the bridge feet away.

Hinata looked back at her in shock and cried. "Sakura!"

Before she could get up, a man teleported to her and stomped on her chest, beginning to crush her chest slowly and painfully enough to hear Sakura's loud scream. Then the man pointed the large sword right at her throat.

"Sakura!" Hinata cried, as she was on way to help Sakura, but the man put his another palm up that signaled stop.

"I wouldn't do that if I were ye, beauty." Suddenly, his right hand began to glow, as energy ball began to float from his hand that aimed at Hinata.

'Ki?! Could be he one of…' thought Hinata anxiously.

Sakura groaned in the pain, as she lifted her head to glare at him. "So… that scumbag Danzo is in the league with Coola after all! And you're wielding Zabuza's sword!" She lowered her pupils down at the sword that was held against her throat. "Who are you?!"

The man left his hand that was aiming at Hinata and reached his mask to remove it. He had dark brown spiky hair with red eyes that had shadows underline. He wore eye-patch on his left eye. You could even see a part of scar above and below his left eye. He also had a round goatee. He wore long black leather jacket down to his knee with red undershirt and red pants. He also wore sandals, but different from what most Elementian ninja wore.

The man returned the glare at Sakura and replied. "Me moniker be cap'n Shadow. I be not in league wit' Coola. I be here on th'order o' Lightnin'. I be needin' ye blood, somethin' that me boss needs."

"Who is Lightning?! And why does he need my blood?!" Sakura yelled, trying to figure out how to escape. "And if you or Lightning aren't in league with Coola, then why are you here?!"

"What I be doin' here be none 'o ye business!" Shadow retorted. When he gripped tighter on Zabuza's sword, it suddenly transformed into regular knife. He looked at both Sakura and Hinata's surprise reaction. "I be able to change me weapon 'o me choice at gunna."

"I don't know what he wanted, but you're a pirate, aren't you?" asked Hinata with a chuckle. "I never liked pirates at all!"

Then Hinata charged up the energy sphere and then threw a Ki wave towards Shadow. Unfortunately, a simple swat would do that to Ki wave, as it reflected towards Hinata.

Hinata was surprised by this, as she tried to raise her arms to block it, but it was so strong enough to knock her away. She fell back to the end of the bridge.

"I don't like ninjas either," declared Shadow.

"Hinata!" Sakura then shot Shadow a glare. "Tell that Lightning scum that I don't want to donate my blood!"

There she was laying on the bridge, and then next moment, she suddenly punched him, but he caught her instead.

Shadow swept her legs to make her fall down, and restrained her both hands to make sure that she would not do that again. "I don't like Lightnin' either, but he promises me big, grand golds! Now I'll need ye blood. Stay still, beauty. 'tis will only hurt ye a wee, beauty."

Sakura panicked, but just like Shadow said, it only hurt her a little. Shadow only cut a little part of her skin on her palm, and of course, it drew a blood. What did he do? He puts her blood into the vial.

Hinata rubbed her forehead, reliving the pain, as she got up, shaking her head. "What just happened?" She remembered last thing she just did, she fired a blast, but Shadow reflected it to her, and then next thing she knew, she just woke up.

Once after Shadow get off her, she clasped her injured hand and stood up, leveling a glare towards him. "Hey! Am I some important to Lightning? What does my blood have to do something with him?!"

Shadow ignored her questions, as he turned his back on her. "That's all I be needin'. Now I'll be headin' to Lightnin'. That's whar I be goin'."

Sakura used her other hand to heal her bleed hand, until the pain disappeared and blood stopped, gone. "ANSWER ME!" She said sternly.

Shadow paused. "That's th' last thin' I'd need to hear whiny scallywag from th' likes 'o ye!" His tone started to become very annoyed. "Fer one, I be not entitled to answer ye! If ye must be knowin' why, ask Lightnin'!"

Once again, he began to walk away, probably on way to meet Danzo or Lightning. Sakura clenched her fist, knowing that she couldn't do anything to him, as she was powerless to stop him.

Even though Sakura lost her Ki, she was still able to sense everyone with the possession of Ki. When she sensed Shadow's Ki, she could tell that he was suppressing his Ki. But she feared if she knew how strong he really was. If she had to guess how much battle powers he had right now, it would be around 20,000.

"Stop, you thief pirate! You're not getting away!" Hinata yelled, as she flew towards him at very high speed.

Shadow quickly turned his head around, only to see that Hinata disappeared thin into air. "What?!" He was so surprised that she was able to vanish before his eyes, even though she was an Elementian.

Then Shadow realized she tricked him! He slowly moved his head down, widening his eyes. Surely, she was down there. She simply disappeared and appeared while crouched down and already thrust her palm at the inch of his chest.

Shadow spewed the blood from his mouth, as her Juken rammed him through the large pillar. But since he was rammed through the large pillar, all Root who stood on the cross beam between two pillars, it lost the balance, thus causing them to fall to their death. Also, when a pillar collapsed, it broke into many pieces, as it fell on the one of three side of bridge. It also collapsed one of third bridge, causing more Root to fall to their death as well. It was no longer three-way Bridge. Now it's "L" bridge.

Remaining Root survivors could have gone after them right now, but they had to wait for their order. They would just stand there on the cross beam, waiting for their order.

She was proud of training Hinata to speed her battle power up. That's what she needed. Maybe Hinata wasn't able to catch up to her level, but she reached the level where she could put up with Coola's men in a fight.

Flashback Began- Age 763, November 27- Training Ground 7, Konohagakure, Land of Fire, Planet Element- With Sakura and Hinata

"So what should I do… Sakura-sensei?" Hinata asked, but added sarcastic tone at the end of the sentence. She stood in front of Sakura, who would teach her the art of Ki. Also, there's Kuririn and Gohan standing next to Sakura. They must be her training partners Sakura spoke of.

"Ahh, princess of sarcasm, aren't you?" Sakura joked. Then she cleared her throat. "Anyways, I called Gohan and Kuririn, because I'm not access into the usage of Ki anymore. What I'm about to teach you to use the Ki is not really necessary explanation from me. You need a visual learning. You can adapt to that new power of yours after only seeing it once." Sakura grinned. "I don't even need to explain how Ki works here, Hinata-sama."

Hinata didn't quite get it. How could she learn without learning how it works somehow? It's impossible to learn without having to learn how to use it unless you're Uchiha or you have Sharingan eyes to copy them. But she never learned how to use Ki, and Sakura was not even bother to teach her anything.

"What? That's it?" Hinata asked, confused, and disappointed, mixed with a little hint of angry. "Are you telling me you're going to waste my time?!"

A grin of Sakura's turned into a smirk. "What do you think? If I'm going to waste your time, why would I be here else." She grabbed some kind of device from her pouch that looked like a smart phone. "Anyways, I'm going to check your power out. I asked Bulma to create it for me before we fought Orochimaru. Although, it was solely purpose for Earthlings to detect Ki users, especially aliens but it works on anyone with Ki powers though."

"What is it?" asked Gohan.

"This device is designed to detect someone with Ki users, even it tells the range of their location and how strong they are, much like scouter, but it tells more details. Well, it's not accurate. Please remember that no matter what it said about your battle powers, it will never be an accurate." Sakura explained.

"Wow, that's amazing! What can it do then?" amazed Kuririn.

"All right." She pointed her device at Hinata, as signal started to glow red and flickered it few times before it became full red. Then screen turned on and blurred for few second until it became a clear. It showed the amount of powers Hinata had right now. "Oh, it says here your battle power is 180. Hmph, less than 200, but at least you're stronger than Muten Roshi. If it is of any indication that's lower than Muten Roshi-sensei, you would be pathetic than I thought."

Hinata frowned. She did not like how Sakura called her. But she brushed that comment off, and shrugged. She folded her arms and sighed impatiently. "If you say so. Can we start it already?"

"Ohh… impatient person, aren't you? Fine, if you insist." Sakura glanced over her side at Kuririn and Gohan whom stood watching them. "Hey, Kuririn."

"Huh? Me?" A confused bald midget asked, pointing at himself.

"Of course! There's not two Kuririns here! You're only Kuririn here!" Sakura snapped.

Kuririn was taken aback at Sakura's angry comment. 'Yikes! I don't want to be Naruto #2!' Before he made few steps towards Sakura, but first, he moved to Gohan and cupped into his ear. "There's something odd about her. It's like she's not been herself recently today." Gohan was very bewildered at him.

"Kuririn!" yelled Sakura.

Kuririn shook his head, sighing, "My bet is that she's like that is because she's without Naruto for a month, I'm telling ya!"

"Kuririn-san…" Gohan muttered, confused a bit.

As Kuririn made a few step towards her, she began, "Kuririn, show her what you can do. Use the Ki now!"

'Whoa… She's barking order now. It's not like her to bark order like that.' Kuririn thought. Without hesitation, he responded by charge up the Ki ball hovering above his hand immediately.

"There, there…" Kuririn smiled. 'I probably think I know why. She must be on her period at the time of this month! Yes, it must be! I'd best not to incur her wrath!'

Sakura thanked him, as Kuririn's energy ball faded before nervously returning to Gohan's side. She looked at Hinata who recently saw the energy ball, the look on Hinata was astounding. This was Hinata's first time to see.

"All right. Now try it. Use it," Sakura told her. There's few things Sakura, and even Sasuke learned more about Elementians that Naruto hadn't learned yet... hidden traits. If they're right, there's way to speed Hinata's battle power up. 'According to this new device, she's sitting at 180. So what happens if she uses it for very first time?'

"W-What?" Hinata puzzled. She hadn't learned anything about Ki yet! Sakura only asked Kuririn to merely show her the Ki. There's no way she could use it without learning anything!

"Just do it!" Sakura suddenly became impatient, ordering her around like that.

"I don't like that attitude!" Hinata hissed at her with a warning look, as if she's threatening her. "You haven't explain it to me how Ki works!"

Sakura scoffed, promptly ignored Hianta's warning, "I don't care. And I don't need to explain how Ki works. All you need is to try it, and you shall see!"

"Whatever…" Hinata rolled her eyes over. There's no such as thing that you can suddenly become accustom to that if you haven't learned anything. So far, she hadn't learned a single thing about Ki, so there's no way she could suddenly master it. But if Sakura's telling her to do it, she will do it and proved that she'd need to learn how Ki works.

She turned her hand upward, and began to unconsciously relax more deeply until something shiny started to glow upon her hand and grew into light of energy sphere. There she already mastered the Ki with no problem at all!

She was in awe of her new powers. "W-W-What?" She stuttered at least once in a while, spoke like her old self. "W-W-What a-am I f-feeling? I-I'm f-feeling t-tremendous h-here! It's like someone poured very cold water on me!"

"Didn't I tell you that I don't need to teach you how to use Ki? You just did that without learning it." Sakura puffed her chest up, smirking, like she couldn't be more than proud of herself. She figured out the hidden trait of Elementian together with Sasuke back when they were training by Roshi. At first, she thought Naruto figured it out, but she's wrong. He never figured it out, not even today. But soon or later, he'd learn from Jiraiya-sama anyways.

"B-But how? How am I able to use it without learning it, Sakura?" asked Hinata, very shocked.

Sakura grinned. "Now looks like you could use some explanation right now. Listen, I'm sure you're aware of our trait that we can speed our battle power by just training three times progress than of our normal chakra training, and two times progress than rest of other species' normal Ki training. But there's also more trait to us Elementian than we thought. We Elementians are mimicry-type species. In other words, we can use them after only seeing it once. For example, I showed it to you, and you saw it, so you're able to master it in an instant."

"You mean, it's as if we're Sharingan user ourselves." Hinata chortled. "How delightful."

"That's right. It's almost as if we're Uchiha ourselves, but the problem is… we can't mimic big technique like Kamehameha Wave, Dodonpa, Kienzan, or Galick-Ho. We have to do the normal way like we did with our Chakra. We have to learn through them. However, thanks to our Elementian trait, we can master Kamehameha less than 24 hours!

"However, as you probably suspected, we indeed do have a weakness. If we completely abandoned chakra and started focusing on Ki, simply because it was stronger than Chakra. Because chakra actually reinforced Ki to keep it strength. But when chakra dropped, Ki dropped every time. Basically, without chakra, your strength would be about as the strength of Earthling, and vice versa for Ki, except that we would be on most Elementian's level here. Of course, having both energy source balanced, your battle powers will drop about 1/8 or something. I'm still not sure how much our Ki dropped after we balanced both Ki and Chakra out. Enough talking about that. Now I'm going to teach you how to use Kamehameha Wave."

"Really? So what should I do with this one?" Hinata asked, referring to the energy sphere that still hovered above her hand.

"Fading away, you mean? I believe it's the opposite from how you just did that. Remember the feeling when you use that, right? You're feeling something in you, Ki ball goes up. So you have to let that feeling out, Ki will be gone. Convey it to your normal feeling as usual. It's easier than charging it, after all," explained Sakura.

Hinata looked at her newly Ki ball hovering above her hand and started to reconsider whether to dispel it or not. "Sakura… If I may…" She then glanced around at the huge forest that could be seen from the training ground.

"Huh?" At first, Sakura was as clueless as what Hinata was talking about until she took a notice of Hinata's eyes direct eyes into a forest. Realization dawned on her face. "Oh, that… Fine, go ahead and throw that ball, but it won't de— Huh? What're you doing?"

She promptly activated Byakugan, as she crouched down, cupping her both hands facing each other and pulled upward to her side.

'W-What?! It's not impossible! She can't possibly…" Sakura babbled to herself in awe of what Hinata's going to do.

"Hey… that's sign. Isn't that…?" Gohan was unable to form the word out of his mouth, because he was unsure if she could do that. She had never seen Kamehameha Wave, so there's no way she could pull this off.

But Kuririn finished their sentence anyways. "Kamehameha Wave? Wait, seriously? She could do that?

Even though she cupped her already charged Ki, it did not grow or anything… It's just simply that way. Size remained same.

But she just cupped her hand together with her charged Ki sphere. Even though it was normal Ki technique, she acted like it was big technique to her, which was true.

She prepared to move her arm forward, as she screamed. "Hakke Kusho Nami! (Eight Trigrams Vacuum Palm Wave)"

She thrusted her cupped hands forward, and fired the bright blue and white wave towards the forest, which rowed each tree that fell down until the end of the forest. Fortunately, it never exploded that possibly damaged the Konohagakure.

She panted heavily. She always suspected that Ki exhausted them faster than Chakra could to them. Although, she looked shock when she learned how powerful Ki was, not to mention that she molded together with Chakra.

She turned around and smirked victoriously at speechless Sakura. "No one told me that if I were to mold my chakra and Ki together, I would become powerful? Or is it normal like this?"

"No way!" Kuririn shocked. "She just learned Ki, and she did like that?!"

Gohan was speechless, but somehow, she always knew that Hinata was the right choice for Sakura to teach. But he was amazed by her sudden growth power. She learned so fast and she's able to use big technique. Even more, she figured out that she can mold together in one moment.

Sakura quickly got rid of her deep shock, as she scanned Hinata's powers with newest device. She muttered to herself so no one could hear her. "Hyuuga Hinata: Battle power: 540. Of course, as soon as she used Ki for very first time, it tripled her original battle power. From 180 to 540 battle powers."

She punched some buttons on her device to change the display. She widened her eyes when she saw something she did not expect out of Hinata. 'Last Technique Used: 1,420 battle powers?! Her battle power skyrocketed that much when she used that technique? Is it because of that jutsu she molded into, or because of Hyuuga thing? Either way, that's good, I supposed. But I'll need to speed her battle power. At this rate, with her current battle power, she won't be able to reach my level. I need her to reach my former battle power. There's only way to speed her battle power is…'

Flashback Ended

'B-But what I just did to her is justifiable. I did what I had to do. I had to speed her battle power by putting her in gravity room. But not only that I put her in gravity room, I got her nearly killed by working out through 50 times gravity all of a sudden.' Sakura thought.

In fact, she did put her in 10 times gravity, and Hinata had become accustomed to 10 times gravity in few hours. But she felt that 10 times gravity won't be enough, so she jumped gravity to 50 times, and locked Hinata inside without warning her at all. Hinata couldn't handle the gravity, but Sakura did not do anything about her. She just did nothing and stayed outside of Capsule Corporation spaceship. Gohan, Kuririn, and Ino demanded her to let Hinata out, but Sakura was too stubborn to let her out, claiming that there's only way to speed Hinata's powers up.

Gohan disagreed with Sakura, and managed to open the door to let Hinata out. He wasn't happy with Sakura's decision, neither did Kuririn and Ino.

As soon as Hinata was let out, she went into heated arguments with Sakura, saying that she could have died because of Sakura. Sakura claimed that she did this because she really needed Hinata to get on her level so badly. In case if Naruto and Sasuke did not come or Sakura hadn't gotten her powers back, who will be there to defend Konohagakure?

After very heated arguments between Hinata and Sakura, Hinata punched her in the face and claimed that she never wanted to see Sakura's face ever again, and left her in process.

But when Lee and Tenten arrived, they delivered breaking news that Neji was killed in action by one of Coola's men. Needless to say, Hinata was in shocked that her cousin died. So she went back to Sakura and asked for gravity room, so she could train in 50 times gravity. Actually, that was her goal, but she was unable to reach 50 times gravity, as she only made it to 30 times gravity.

She was not sure how strong Hinata was right now. But by her calculation of Hinata's 30 times gravity with her first battle power scan for a day or two, she probably would have reached Kuririn's battle power by now.

Now she was not sure if Hinata forgave her already. It seemed that Hinata was upset that her all immediate family had died, but it seemed that she had long forgotten that incident between her and Sakura. Hinata counted Neji as one of her immediate family because he lived with them, even though he was member of branch.

Hinata casted a glance at the area where she knocked Shadow away into. She clenched her fist in a bitter. 'Damn! First, it's Hanabi. Then my Father… and Now Neji! I can't stand to see my comrades to die one by one! I made a promise long ago. That I'm going to protect Konoha with my life! No one can take Konoha away from us!'

"Juho Soshiken! (Gentle Step Twin Lion Fists)" Hinata called out the name. The shape of chakra released from both hands into large guardian lion-shaped shrouds. By doing that, she powered up blue aura along with her Juho Soshiken, which enlarged the guardian lion around her both hands. Her Byakugan eyes awaited her glare towards Shadow who recently stood up, returning his glare at her.

Shadow rubbed his own chest with his fist. That was the most pain he had ever experienced. What kind of technique was that? That almost killed him, but luckily, it missed the vital. He was fumed by how he could have died on spot by weakling Elementian! Then again, he remembered the story that Lightning told him all about.

"Ye lust to hurt people that ye've met who did nothin' to ye but graciously offer to save ye lives? " Although Shadow was mad, he managed to make a humorous joke and continued like that. "What be ye? Black Widow? I bet ye hurt men ye just met. 'tis okay. That's understandable. I be not only a scurvy pirate, but also a scurvy dog."

Hinata furrowed her brows, who would be more than happy to kill every enemy who had wronged her in the same room.

"Ye be knowin' what? Ye're probably unlucky right here. Lightnin' ordered me not to murder that pink-haired lady, but he never said anythin' 'bout ye, me lady." Shadow chuckled furiously, and quickly glanced at Root members who awaited the order. "All right! Ye be knowin' what ye have to do! Dispose 'o that wee scallywag!"

Immediately complied with Shadow's order, all Root jumped on her at once like a swarm. Root ANBU would do anything for Danzo or anyone who's in league with Danzo. Even if it means to kill their own family member, they'd do anything for their family. Their order was to kill Hinata right on spot. She was right there, so they used that opportunity to kill her right now.

One of them is a Hyuuga.

But Hinata did not care. That one of Hyuuga betrayed Hyuuga clan, and that he or she deserved to die like that.

Hinata grinned smugly. "Dumbasses! You're within my range."

Then green circle displayed the symbols of Taoist, the bagua, and the yin and yang, which had expanded all over the area in the building. Hinata was in the center of it. Sakura just stood few feet away from her, but she completely ignored her because she was not the enemy. All she focused on were all Root members in her range. "Hakke Rokujuyon Sho! (Eight Trigrams Sixty-Four Palms)"

'No way!' Sakura looked in awe at Hinata's display of power. 'Are Hyuugas really that powerful? Is she going to mold Ki into that jutsu as well? And she can use that jutsu while using Hakke variation?!'

She could do nothing, but stared in awe at Hinata. She only wished that she never lost her power, so she would not be useless right now and here. She wished she did not lose her power, so she could work together with Hinata! But right now, she couldn't do anything, but leaving Hinata up to fight them on her own.

She became distraught when she thought of that like that. 'Damn! I'm so useless! I never did anything useful… since I became a ninja.'

She quickly disposed of two Root that came this close to her. "Two strikes!"

Sakura was amazed by Hinata's action before her own eyes. 'Amazing! She's so amazing! She's useful. She can do anything… B-But…' She bit her lower lip, as she clenched her fist.

After killing them both with just two strikes, she then spun around, sensing that two Root members were behind her thanks to her 360-degree field of vision. Before they could lay a hand on her, she blew through both of their chest, leaving hole on their body, dead. "Four strikes!"

'B-But…' Sakura paused in her thought, as if she was disappointed in herself, or being jealousy.

Hinata looked up at more remaining ANBU who still leapt towards her. She smirked proudly, 'With my newfound powers, I can fly and kill them all! They can't fly after all.'

Her aura spiked up even more than before. She rocketed herself into a bunch of Root around her. While rocketing through them, she punched through three other Root members. Obviously, they plunged under the bridge into the bottomless pit. Then she rammed the last of four Root members onto the ceiling, delivering a killing blow. But when she released that Root member, he fell down into the bottomless pit as well. "Eight strikes!"

Every time she made consecutive strikes, her speed increased. But it was not normal speed. She was faster than before. No Root members could see her speed with their own eyes. She was proud of it. That's what she needed to protect Konoha from bad guys.

She rounded up, sticking her feet to ceiling using her Chakra. But she was not done. There's more Root to remain alive that needed to be rid of. She need to hurry up to finish them all or her technique would be failed.

She was so fast.

No Root members could outrun her right now and here!

They were too slow.

'But… I am always, was and will be useless. Because of what I am… I can't do anything useful to help them.' Sakura was ashamed of herself.

Hinata forced her feet off to launch herself towards Root ANBU that still were at mid-air. They were unable to move around because they already leapt down when Hinata was on ground. Instead, they diverted their attention to Sakura who was so absorbed into her thought.

Hinata growled. "Hey, you slowpokes! I am right here!"

The moment she was here, but next moment she was gone by the sound of sonic. She broke the wall of sounds. That proved she became faster every time she used consecutive strikes.

At blink of eyes, eight Root members fell apart and half of them fell harder on the bridge and other half of them fell down into the bottomless pit, but all of them were dead anyways. "Sixteen strikes!"

All in her past, Sakura was useless to begin with.

In the past, Sakura was too afraid to fight Zabuza when they first faced him. She couldn't do anything but to protect Tazuna. All she did was to watch Naruto and Sasuke to fight and protect.

In the past, she watched Naruto and Sasuke again when they were fighting Orochimaru at the Forest of Death. She could not do anything at all! All she did was terrorized by the power of Orochimaru who handled Naruto and Sasuke easily.

After Hinata done killing eight Root members, she immediately turned around, and noticed a pack of horde coming together towards the bridge. This was perfect opportunity for her to continue her consecutive strikes.

She, once again, launched herself right into the pack of horde. Again, in blink of eyes, she zigzagged through the pack of horde and killed sixteen, but only one of them was so lucky to survive that consecutive strikes. But that woman lucky only lasted that very short. "Thirty-two strikes!"

While she was falling down towards the bridge, Hinata spotted her and furrowed her eyebrows in furious rage. She hated ROOT. She hated Danzo. She hated him so much. She hated him for what he did to her family. He murdered her Mother and her Sister in cold blood.

It's payback for her now! Danzo must pay for what he had done to her… and Sakura… and pretty much of his victims.

She was going to demonstrate on this lady to Danzo to see what it's like to mess with Hinata and her friends and family!

She chased after lady Root who was still falling in mid-air.

As she pulled her palms that still shrouded guardian lions around, she screamed, "DIE, BITCH!"

She thrust her hand forward and slammed first palm on the abdomen. Quickly followed by it, another palm threw and hit her abdomen again. More followed by it, a barrage of palm strike inflicted a damage onto more of her body.

For every palm she threw, her speed increased rapidly. She was too fast, even that untrained eyes were unable to detect the motion of her speed. Technically, her body was not going fast. Her hands were going fast, even her guardian lions that shrouded around her hands.

She screamed, "Sixty-four strikes!" She just finished her 32 consecutive strikes on a single target. With her final strike, she delivered most powerful, final palm thrust onto that Root lady's chest, slamming her on the end of the bridge.

Afterward, Root lady remained unmovable, seemingly dead. After all, 32 consecutive strikes just killed her, no question asked at all.

Hinata stood by her, looking coldly at her. Root lady's mask already creaked long ago during the time of Hakke Rokujuyon Sho.

That Root lady was Hyuuga also. That was a Hyuuga who betrayed their clan and joined Root, Hinata recalled.

She had no regret, regarding that traitor Hyuuga.

Look at that traitor Hyuuga. It was bloody mess. A pound of blood leaked onto the concrete of bridge, coming from that traitor Hyuuga's corpse. But she knew who she was. That was her aunt. The wife of Hizashi. That bitch chose to join Root of her own free will after Hizashi gave up his life to protect the Byakugan and the Konohagakure from the Kumogakure.

It may be overkill, but Hinata didn't care anyways. That traitor bitch deserved it.

While Hinata was too focused on the traitor Hyuuga, Sakura was too preoccupied with her mind, reflecting her past of her uselessness.

In the past, she was so close to be killed by Nappa, but only to be saved. She was saved, because she was too useless to fight Nappa.

In the past, even though, she saved Naruto from Orochimaru, she's still unable to defeat him, even though he was at his weakest point. All it took for Naruto to save her by using Rasengan on him.

In the past, Sakura never did anything in attempt to throw Vegeta away. All she could was to watch him beating Naruto and Sasuke up. Even worse, Vegeta's weakest explosion wave managed to knock her out when she was barely injured at that time.

In the past, Sakura was too afraid to confront Freeza and others when they were attacking Muuri's village. She did not have a courage to save them because he was too powerful. Instead, Gohan had enough courage to kick Dodoria in the face and rescued Dende.

In the past, she was dumb enough to attack on front assault along with Gohan and Kuririn against Ghurd. Ghurd managed to use paralysis technique on them to paralyze them in mid-air, and beat them up for a while until they were saved by Vegeta who used to be their enemy. But what's more embarrassed is that she could not even defeat her opponent who was literally weaker than her, let alone Ghurd!

In the past, even though Sakura and her friends saved Vegeta from ReaCoom's Eraser Gun, she could not do anything against ReaCoom. She just stood there, frozen in fear, as ReaCoom punched her to the head, completely knocked out. In the end, Goku saved her and her friends.

In the past, she was unable to fight Ginyu in Goku's body because she still thought him of as Goku. But thanks to her and her friends' reluctant, Ginyu had become accustomed to his body, as he gained upper hand on them until they were saved by Goku and Vegeta. Once again, she had to be saved!

In the past, all of fights she had against Freeza, and all that she should have been killed off, but was saved by three different people on separate occasion. For example, after Sasuke's death, Freeza made a fun of his death, Sakura was enraged by his mockery and attempted to charge after him, but was tail-whipped by Freeza, and knocked into the lake where she could have drowned there, but Dende saved her by healing her. Other times when she should be dead, that times when she should have saved Piccolo from the brink of death who was going to be killed by Freeza, but instead, they both were saved by Sennin Modo Naruto. And finally, when they thought Goku was dead during that time, Gohan and she had to fight him for the sake of universe, even if they couldn't save the universe, but of course, just when Freeza was about to finish them off, Goku saved them.

In the past, when she fought most sexist person she had ever met! She never met any men who hated women so much. Yusuke could have killed her, but Tenshinhan saved her again.

In the past, she was beaten by Orochimaru and literally couldn't do anything, as she watched Gohan getting beaten up by Orochimaru. Also, the irony is that the man who she defeated actually saved her ass from Orochimaru, What's more, the irony is that very same man who hated women with a passion actually saved a girl!

In the past, after Sasuke got his cursed mark, most of fighters were knocked away, including Naruto, she had to be the one who watched over them until Bulma and others would arrive. But while she was watching over them, she was ambushed by some maniac demon named Daisuke who's willing to hurt everything and everyone simply because he was most powerful demon there was. Not only she was saved once, but twice! One by Gohan, and other one by Sasuke.

In most recent past, she had to play petty game with Akame. After she won the little "game" against her, she was shot by Akame, and alas, she lost her power because of it. But not only that she lost her powers, she almost died, but thanks to Kiba who brought Senzu Bean from Sandaime Hokage and fed her until she's healed.

Today, being powerless she was, there's nothing she could do right now and here. She knew she could not handle too many Root here, so all she had to do was to watch Hinata handling all of Root members easily. Thanks to her teaching Hinata the art of Ki, that is.

But what she hated the most is that her ass needed to be saved constantly. Saved by many people when she needed the most. Every time she tried to do something useful, it turned against her and became useless.

Her mind became very negativity with all uselessness on her mind right now.

'Damn! I'm so useless… Useless! What's good being a ninja if I'm so useless?' Sakura thought, clenching her fists with most frustration.

"SAKURA!" snapped Hinata.

That startled Sakura and just awoke her mind, as she noticed the annoyed face on Hinata. "Huh? What?" She looked around, finally noticed that pretty much of Root were dead. She assumed that Hinata killed them all. She looked up. Shadow's still there, standing there, folding his arms, and smirking at them, especially Hinata.

"What the hell are you spacing out?!" Hinata snapped. "I've called your name three times and you did not respond!"

It seemed that her patience started to wear out thin.

"Oh, I'm sorry," muttered Sakura. She casted her glance down. That's when she noticed Root member who was in bloody mess. 'Overkill.' Apparently, Hinata lashed out at that last Root out of rage.

Hinata sighed desperately, stroking her forehead. Sakura can tell that she was very frustrated today. And she noticed that Hinata already deactivated her Byakugan and also let her Ki down. That was big rookie mistake. "Listen, Sakura-san! Whatever you're thinking, don't think! I can tell what you're thinking. You're thinking you're useless, huh?"

Sakura widened her eyes in shock. "H-How… How did you…"

"How did I know? Because I've been there." Hinata said, somehow bitter. "Most of times, I always thought I was useless, because I was so weak. Father always called me that I was too weak, and that I didn't deserve to be heiress. That he's ashamed to call me his daughter. At some point, Father told me that I should be dead because I was too weak, and I was not even a true Hyuuga! Every sparring evening, Father always lashed out at me and had beaten me to near death every time, simply because I was too weak! I was physically abused! Why?! Because I was so weak! That's when I thought I was useless! He wanted me to be strong, so I can take his place, but I couldn't do it! Father even pitted me against Hanabi, only to be humiliated by my own little sister! So she took my place as heiress, and Father decided to use me as his punching bag, simply because I WAS SO WEAK!"

Sakura was shocked. That was the first time she heard Hinata's story. "I… I have no idea." Indeed, she never knew that Hinata was suffering so much in the hand of her own Father. She began to wonder how she would feel if she happened to be in Hinata's place. How long could her sanity lasted against Father if that were to happened? She doubted she could. She would have become insane for sure.

Hinata paused and calmed down for a while, and then began again. "Listen, Sakura. I know how you feel, even though we're different. No one has right to call you useless, nor you have right to call yourself a useless! Perish that thought right now! You're not useless! Not at all!"

Sakura felt like she was bad kid who was scolded by an adult. But still, Hinata was right. She always thought of that in her whole life, even before she became ninja. In fact, the day she was bullied due to her huge forehead, she started to think herself as useless. That's why she decided to register as a ninja to prove that she's useful, referred by her best friend Ino. That was her original goal. It was her first goal until Sasuke came. That goal became long forgotten.

Sakura smiled. "Thank you… Hinata-sama."

Hinata returned the smile at her. "Anytime, Sakura-san!" They would stare at each other for a moment, but unfortunately, it didn't last longer.

Unknown to Hinata, very silent ninja wore whole black costume, except eyes, approached her from the behind in attempt to ambush her. A ninja swiftly swung her katana around right at Hinata's neck.

However, Sakura spotted him. "WATCH OUT!" She cried, as she ran and tackled him down right before he could slice Hinata's head off. He lost his grip on the katana, as it fell on the ground. Even though Hinata was Ki user, she could have died anyways because she was so stupid enough to let her Ki down.

Hinata was surprised. How could she deactivate Byakugan, and worse of all, she let her Ki down? Why would she do that? That's because she thought she killed all Root members. She never noticed last survivor who was going to ambush her from the behind. Was that last Root survivor hiding somewhere in the shadow, waiting for perfect opportunity to kill Hinata? That was a rookie mistake.

'This is my chance!' thought Sakura.

Sakura made sure to keep the last Root survivor pinned down on the floor, as she grabbed the kunai from her pouch. She lifted her kunai, preparing to strike, but Root survivor had another plan.

Much to Sakura's surprise, he overcame her and swatted her down to the ground with a fist, pinning her down with his knees between her body. She struggled with him, but he held her down firmly.

Obviously, he had his back-up weapon, as he picked up the kunai from his pouch in attempt to slash her throat. But before he could make a move on her, his own sword stabbed through his chest from the behind. It was Hinata who stabbed him from the behind. The blood wounded up from his chest. He widened his eyes for a moment, but next moment, he slowly closed his eyes, fell on his face flat, dead.

Sakura scowled. 'Damn!' She was not happy with the outcome. She was saved once again when she could have died there. While she was grateful that her life was spared, she lost her chance to 'save' Hinata.

Hinata reached her hand to Sakura, rather scowling. "Hey, you're spacing out again! I asked if you're okay!" Geez, Hinata had little patience. It seemed like she hated repeating words to people.

'Can't blame her for saving me. She did what she had to, even though I could handle him.' Sakura grabbed Hinata's hand who helped her to stand up and smiled. "Yeah, I'm okay. Thank you."

Hinata chuckled, "Again, anytime, Sakura-san."

Their little friendly stare down was cut pretty quick by a new voice.

"Nice job!" Newcomer emerged from the entrance, walking down the path on the bridge, and clapping his hands. "Looks like you beat all of his men, Hinata-sama, Sakura-chan."

This newcomer was a man. He looked as much as most human around on either Earth or Element with spiky black hair and blue eyes. He wore black tracksuit and black tights with black sandals.

When other person walked along by newcomer, Hinata and Sakura went from confusion to anger really fast.

That man was Danzo. The man who ordered Root to murder Hinata's Mom, the man who ordered Root to murder Sakura's parents, the same man who killed Hinata's sister, and the man who tried to capture Naruto. Above all, he was most hated in the whole world.

As Shadow said himself, Danzo was not under Coola, but actually under Lightning. As Sakura suspected, that newcomer was Lightning. Black hair with blue eyes was unusual. She also suspected that Lightning's hair was dyed very well, but his blue eyes were his original color eyes.

Speak of devil, Shadow jumped, and landed, as he kneeled by Lightning. "Lightnin'-sama!"

'Lightning-sama?' Hinata was stunned when she heard him calling the name. 'Is he the one who ordered Shadow to use Sakura's blood?'

'I knew it!' Sakura thought. 'But why is Danzo following him? Is he really one of Lightning's men? If so, when did they meet?'

Lightning did not cast a glance even once at Shadow, as he would keep staring at Sakura, as if he knew her. "Rise, Shadow! You know I don't like someone kneeling before me. I'm not a tyrant. Stand up as if you're my friend. And stop adding the -sama to my name, for Kami's sake!"

Shadow flinched at Lightning's disappointment. He never heard of someone who doesn't wish someone to kneel before him. Even though he was a captain pirate who hated to do someone's bidding, he had a lot of respect for Lightning. In fact, he thought him of his first friend, even though he did not like him a bit.

Shadow sighed, as he stood up and began. "I got th' vial 'o blood from Sakura. I be ready when ye're."

Lightning glared at Shadow. "You hurt Sakura, didn't you?"

Shadow shrugged. "Not like I can be off sayin', 'Avast, thar, may I borrow ye blood, not that ye'll need a reason' Yo-ho-ho, right!" He laughed like most pirate would at any reason or whatever the reason was. "Besides, from what bin heard 'bout her from ye, she'd not put up without a fight. So I had to hurt her after all."

Lightning sighed. "Fair enough." Then he looked around and noticed that Sakura and Hinata had their guard up, glaring at him. He took few step forward and smiled. "My name is Lightning… so hello!"

Forest, Land of Fire- Fayre vs Tobi

Sitting against the trunk of a tree, Fayre glared up at Tobi who stood on the top of branch across from him. "You!" He hissed.

Tobi stared down at him. "You're alive and well."

Fayre scowled. That tone Tobi just used. It sounded like Tobi was relieved for some reason. Just who was the man behind that mask? He knew that was Uchiha behind that mask, but who?

Deciding to provoke the masked man a little, Fayre scoffed. "Are you surprised? Did that not go well what you expected, 'Madara'?"

Tobi narrowed his right eye through the hole.

"I know your name isn't Madara. Uchiha Madara died during his battle against Shodai Hokage! Plus, if he didn't die, he would have died of age long times ago!" Fayre concluded, leveling his glare at Tobi. "WHO. ARE. YOU?!" He emphasized three words well against the masked man.

Tobi looked into Fayre's glare eyes. It was full of hatred eyes. That eyes looked like he had been through a lot of years he experienced in. So much hatred. Too much hatred.

Tobi sighed. "If that's what you claimed, then so be it, that name meant nothing to me. I'm no one, but if you must know what to call me, then I'm called Tobi."

"Tobi?" Erize's voice inside Fayre's head scoffed. "That's so lame name! He could have come up with better name. You know that it's his alias name, right?"

'Hn, I already know that!' Fayre scowled. He braced himself against the tree, as he pulled himself slowly, thanks to his earlier injury against Itachi. Now only if Itachi never stabbed him through the chest, that would never be a problem. He was not going to give up right now and here, especially when knowing that he was going to fight another Sharingan user! "Hmph! Your claim is still false! So, Tobi, looks like we have to do the hard way! I am going to unmask you and reveal who you are, you traitorous bastard!"

"Says the guy who fled our planet to join the most fearful criminal organization in the universe just to terror people on their whim." Tobi retorted.

"Hehe…" Fayre laughed. "The irony is that you also joined the criminal organization just to capture all Biju! Make a peace, huh? Don't make me laugh! There's no such as peace! You can't create peace! There will be always cycle of hatred and cycle of vengeance. It's the infinity. Revenge is infinity. Hatred is infinity. Someone does something bad to you, and you hated him, so you do something bad to him. Then rinse and repeat. If someone killed you, his or her close relationship will take his/her place and kill you. Then someone that's close to you will take their place and kill them. Rinse and repeat! It's like cycle of hatred. Hatred will never stop spreading! The universe of corruption!

"Whatever you're going to do, I'm sure you have a stupid reason, and you will NEVER get that back by achieving through the peace, because you will never get one!"

Somehow, that offended Tobi greatly. It made him really, really angry. He warped himself into the vortex and relocated in front of Fayre, giving him a bit of surprise. He made a good punch on Fayre's face, knocking him off onto the tree.

Fayre laughed, as he sat up his back against the tree, wiping the blood off his mouth. "Have you ever lose someone that's closer to you?"

Tobi widened his right eye through his orange mask.

"I do!" Fayre scowled. He clearly remembered how everything in his life actually happened. Everything he had seen through. So much suffering in his life! "I lost three people that's so close to me. My Mom, my best friend…" He gritted his teeth, as he shut his eyes down, clenching his fist. He would never forget that moment when he found out that his brother died. "And my brother."

Tobi had nothing to say in this matter, as he'd listen to Fayre's ranting.

"Do you have any idea what it's like to lose people that's very close to me? Since Obito's death, I fell into depression and I really wanted him to come back. I cried almost every night before I went to sleep. Always thought of my brother. His cheerful smiles, his tardiness, his clumsiness, his loudmouth and his amazing dream. I was aiming to make him to become the way he always wanted to be: Hokage. When he died, I realized that no dream can come true. When I was kid, I always thought I was dreaming. I used to be like you. I used to think I can create peace, but that was just a dream. Dream will never make into a reality, because that's reality.

"Imagine the world where there was no violence, no war, or no criminals. The world with peace. Then we all would not be a ninja. We would be living a happy life. But it's impossible, because that's dream. Tobi, have you ever lose someone that's very close to you?"

Tobi shot him a glare, as if he's giving Fayre if-you-say-one-more-I-will-punch-you.

Unfortunately, Fayre noticed Tobi's glare through the mask in his right eye. He chuckled lightly, "Oh, you really did lose someone. I wonder about that. Whom did you lose? Your brother? Your sister? Your Mom? Your Dad? Or… someone you really loved so much?"

That earned him another hard punch to the face. Fayre stumbled to the floor on his right side, but he was too stubborn and struggled to get up on his knees, laughing with another blood dribbled from his mouth.

"Of course, it is. So tell me how did she die? How did you feel when she died? Did you avenge her and killed the guy who killed her? If so, let me know how you feel. I'd love to hear it out," taunted Fayre.

Tobi delivered another swift punch, but this time, it connected on Fayre's right side, knocking him aside.

Fayre crawled towards the nearby tree and used it to pull himself up, so he could stand up, turning to laugh right at Tobi. "Added the insult to an injury person, huh? Anyways, speak of that girl, you seemed to be offended greatly. Now you understand how I feel when I lost three precious people to me!" His laugh turned into angry pretty fast. "And one of them were killed by… YOU!"

"You will be the second on my kill list that I checked!" Fayre screamed.

He charged and threw a punch at Tobi, but he phased through him. "Damn!" He turned around, only to kick him from the behind, but it went through instead. Followed by it, roundhouse kick to his head, only to faze through as well. After the roundhouse kick, he stopped spinning around and straight punched through his head.

He widened his eyes. None of his attacks worked on this masked man. 'Why can't I touch him? Is it just physical attacks that won't work on him then? Then what can I do to touch him? Is there a way to touch him? Every person has a weakness, so he should have one.'

While he was in middle of swinging his after-punch fist, he did not have a time to react to upcoming attack when Tobi jumped and kneed him square in the jaws, knocking him up towards the branch.

Luckily, Fayre flipped up around and landed on the top of branch, looking at Tobi with a bit of sweating. 'Damn! I can't touch him. My physical attacks have no effect on him. Is he some kind of untouchable? All right. If physical attacks can't touch him, then I'll test my ninjutsu on him."

He weaved through hand signs before placing his finger on his mouth and took a breath. "Katon: Gokakyu no Jutsu!"

He launched the great fireball from his mouth towards Tobi, as he smirked in near-victory. However, Tobi used his right Sharingan eye to warp the great fireball into the vortex.

"What?!" cried Fayre.

Suddenly, Tobi flung the kunai towards Fayre, and then jumped towards him, which caused his opponent to be startled. Immediately upon, Fayre used his Sharingan eyes to stop the kunai and turned it around, pointing at the charging masked man. Then he released it, as it flew towards him.

But Tobi came closer and closer to him, as he did not even try to dodge the upcoming kunai, as it passed through his head. But before Fayre could do anything to him, Tobi used his right Sharingan eye to un-warp the great fireball that Fayre used against earlier.

It caught Fayre by surprise. "What the—?!"

The problem was that Fayre and Tobi were in close range each other, meaning the great fireball would have gotten to him in no time. Once the release had been made, the great fireball immediately landed onto him, causing a big explosion, wiping out few trees and some landscape of the forest.

BOOOOOOOOOM!

The massive dust erupted up after the explosion. Tobi landed on the top of branch very far away, watching as the massive dust started to dissolve. But once it became clear, there was no sign of Fayre.

"It was close range, yet you were able to escape at that range, Fayre." Tobi turned around and asked. "How did you do?"

It turned out that Fayre survived his own attack and escaped at very close range. He just stood there on the top of branch across from where Tobi was standing on.

He panted heavily, smirking. "I guess I'm faster than you thought." Once he managed to get hold of himself, he calmed down and stared at Tobi, trying to figure out his weakness. 'I never fought someone who is untouchable. Every opponent I've across and fought, I've discovered their weakness and exploited them to defeat them. I can't give up until I find his weakness. Whatever your weakness is, Tobi, I will find it!'

Cryptology Office- With Bulma

It was big shock for them. What they did not realize was that Coola and his men were already here. It must mean that something's going to happen soon. Even worse, Sakura did not get her powers back… yet. Now most people in Konoha were terrorizing for their life in the presence of Coola and his men.

If Bulma had modified the laser gun, it would not have been a problem. Sakura would have gotten her powers back before Coola came in. Then Sakura would have been able to kick Coola's men ass, and stalled Coola for a while until either Naruto or Sasuke came back.

Also, the worse part was that neither Naruto or Sasuke had come back. They were still training somewhere.

No one on this planet except Naruto, Sasuke, Sakura, and probably Hinata could hold Coola and his men off.

Shikamaru began to worry about his teammates who were escorting civilians as of now. It could turn into catastrophe really fast. He really wanted to help his fellow teammates, but he had to help Bulma because she needed his help after all.

Fortunately, Bulma noticed the reluctant look on Shikamaru's look and sighed. "Go."

"What?" Shikamaru was surprised.

"Just go. They're needed more important than me," said Bulma.

"B-But—"

"Don't worry." Shiho interrupted him with a smile. "I'll be staying here. I won't let anything to happen to her, I promise. I'm a chuunin, remember?"

"And me with crossbow here. I will make sure to shoot between their eyes, so they'll know not to mess with us!" boasted Inari with a grin.

Shikamaru sighed desperately. "How troublesome. But you're not safe here either, Inari. I have to evacuate you."

Civilians were not supposed to fight and protect. Inari was a civilian who lost his parents to one of Coola's men, but civilian is civilian after all. He would have to be evacuated along with Konoha civilians.

Inari pouted, "No! I'm not going with them! I'm staying here!"

Ugh, this brat was more troublesome than he's worth for! But he's not going to let it stand by and was willing to force this brat's hand and drag him all the way to evacuate point if he had to!

"No, you're coming with me, and that's the fin—" He tried to reach for Inari's hand to drag him there, but the kid surprisingly pointed the crossbow at Shikamaru between his eyes. "What're you doing?"

"Inari-kun…" Bulma interjected. "What're you…"

"Sorry, but there's something Naruto taught me two years ago." Inari said sternly with the determination in his eyes. "He taught me that I should not give up. That I should not be afraid of something. So... that's why I'm going to put this arrow between bastards' eyes. They killed my parents. I'm not going to stand back without a fight! I'm not coward anymore!"

Shikamaru was in shock as Bulma smiled, Shiho gasped while Inari was very determined.

"B-But…" Shikamaru stammered a little. He had no clue what he should say as this civilian kid must have had a lot of guts willing to face Coola's men like that. He had never met one of them before.

"No, it's okay." Bulma said as Shikamaru looked back at Bulma in astonishment.

"Shiho will protect him and me. She will protect us both." Bulma smiled at Shiho who stood next to her. "Isn't that right, Shiho?"

Shiho was startled and was confused at what Bulma was trying to pull off, but not at least until she noticed Bulma's smiling at her, as if to tell her something. She realized if she wanted to impress Shikamaru, she would have to do.

She pressed her glasses back to proper position, as she nodded frequently. "Y-Yes, I will try my best to protect them both! You can count on me, Shika-kun!"

Shikamaru groaned in frustration and scratched his own hair, "How troublesome. But oh, well. I supposed this will have to do. At least, it'd be less troublesome if I had to evacuate the kids anyways."

He was grateful for that because having to evacuate the kids would be too much work. He sighed wishing that he could have another day-off, because saving the world was too troublesome. There was only one thing he wanted every day: Watching the cloud and taking a nice nap. But it was impossible. Every time he finally got to relax, he got a new mission. Today, he finally got a chance to relax, but Shiho dragged him all the way to help Bulma. Now he didn't have a chance because there's probably going to be another troublesome event today.

That may be his last day to watch the clouds and take a nap.

Inari put his crossbow down and grinned at Shikamaru before saying, "Thank you!"

Shikamaru looked at Inari, then Bulma and finally Shiho before he sighed. "All of you. Be careful." Shikamaru said before he ran off on his way to help the evacuating civilians along with his teammates.

"All right!" Bulma turned around glancing at the laser gun. "Time to fix it ASAP!"

Memorial Stone, Konohagakure- With Kakashi

Kakashi was very upset. He recently learned that Fayre was still alive, but he did not believe in Lee and Tenten. He did not believe in them because he saw the death of Fayre firsthand. When he remembered the death of Fayre, he started remembering the death of Obito and the death of Rin.

"Sorry, Obito." Kakashi muttered towards a Memorial Stone that had many names carved into it.

Names who were carved into the Memorial Stone were heroes who were KIA.

"I can't protect Rin. I can't protect your brother. I can't protect anyone…. Gai is presumably dead. I was told that Fayre's still alive, but I don't believe them. I'm sure you're with him right now… and Rin… and Minato-sensei. B-But I… I…" Kakashi remembered his last moments with Obito when he was alive….

Flashback Began- Age 748, October 10- Land of Fire, Konohagakure

It was beautiful night for a while. Most civilians were having a blast, as if it was party tonight. Tonight, Kushina would give a birth to Naruto, at least what Kakashi heard.

After all, he was an ANBU. His attire was consisted of ANBU uniform and his hitai-ate slide over his left eye to prevent him from using Sharingan eye along with the half-masked that covered his bottom face. He was an ANBU who looked after Kushina on the order by Minata if anything should change while she was the jinichuriki of the Kyuubi.

Anyways, few people would enjoy the night. Few people would argue over something for whatever reason. Few people would discuss some business.

As two drunk people just passed them, laughing with joyous, Kakashi and Gai walked along the road in the village.

"Why don't we just do Rock-Paper-Scisssors again tonight?" Gai asked. He kept pestering him about the challenge. He was a young man and pretty well in his prime. He was always going on and on about his youthful. Springtime of youthful or something. He was a bothersome anyways.

Kakashi closed his eyes, sighing in annoyance. He did not wish to play around. It's like he did not care in the world. After all, his two close friends died because of him. That's something he would not be able to get over for a while.

Now Fayre was after his head. They fought few times, and Hokage had to seize him every time he tried to do something to Kakashi. But for some reason, Yondiame Hokage kept releasing him from the jail because he believed that Fayre would change. He also believed that Kakashi would change, too.

Having massive trauma could change you a lot. That's why Yondaime Hokage was very concerned about Kakashi.

Gai shook his head and shouted. "Not that again! Think of something more exciting!"

Kakashi sighed, "How can you call yourself my rival?" He glanced sideways at him. "We have an early start tomorrow. So let's pass for tonight." His eyes arched up with a smile.

Gai twitched his eyes in annoyance. "Don't use a mission as an excuse!" He raised his fist and closed his eyes with a pride. "I have all this pent-up energy inside me! Now is the time for diligent training! This is the second time I have been turned down. First, it was Fayre. Now you too?!"

But Kakashi stopped for some reason and frozen, staring at somewhere.

Gai opened his eyes and pointed up at the sky, as he continued to walk, leaving Kakashi behind. "Honest-to-goodness discipline and hard work lead to success in future missions!" He noticed that Kakashi stood behind. Annoyance, he came back and shouted at him. "Are you listening to me?!" He was shaking his both fists comically.

Kakashi returned his gaze at his eternal rival. "Say, Guy… Do you sense anything weird?" He glanced over his shoulder, feeling uneasy. "There's been a chill in the air."

Gai hopped around, throwing his hands around and pointing at him. "Either, it's Fayre that's been trying to murder you or… it's your attitude that's causing it! We're only young once!"

"Hey, you!" growled the new voice.

Kakashi and Gai looked around, and that was Fayre who stood behind Gai, glaring at him with hatred.

He sighed, "Maybe you're right. It must be Fayre that's been trying to murder me. I guess it's the time of the month then."

Gai twitched his eyebrows in annoyance, and pointed at Fayre. "You! If this is the time of your period, then I will humbly challenge you to a springtime of youth duel! Yosh!"

"Back off, you freaky bushy!" Fayre snarled. He made sure to set his hatred sight on Kakashi. "This is between him and me! Got it?!"

Kakashi sighed, as he picked the kunai from his pouch. He had no choice. He would have to fight Fayre. As long as Fayre picked up the fight, there's no back on this one. Every month since Fayre found out that he possessed Obito's Sharingan eye, he kept coming in attempt to murder him, but Kakashi handled him pretty well until Yondaime Hokage-sama stopped him.

This was the sixth time so far. They're going to fight again in the middle of Konohagakure once again. But one thing he could not do. He could not kill Fayre, due to his promise to Obito.

Fayre clenched his fist, snarling at him. "Now this time… I'm going to avenge Obito! You're going to pay back for what you did to him! YOU KILLED HIM!"

BOOOM!

But before he could make a move on his opponent, suddenly, large white smoke kicked up and caused the shockwave across whole Konohagakure. It came from the middle of the Konohagakure.

Kakashi, Gai, and Fayre had to raise their arms to defend themselves. Thanks to their chakra on the sole of their feet, they managed not to fall back. They looked up in shock.

"What in the world is happening?!" shocked Fayre.

"S-Something happened over there," said Gai.

"No shit, Sherlock!" said Fayre sarcastically.

"No… it can't be…" realized Kakashi.

They looked over the yonder where it just caused the event. Large eyes opened up and it was red eyes. Nine tails swung around and roared all the way to other end of Konohagakure.

"It's the Kyuubi!" declared Gai, shocking.

"What?! What's the Kyuubi doing here?" Fayre said in shock.

"It's not possible…" Kakashi muttered to himself. 'Was it a failure? Did her pregnancy break the seal of the Kyuubi inside her? I thought Yondaime-sama was supposed to prevent it from coming out of her stomach.'

"It's the Kyuubi! Run! Run! We're done for!" One of civilian screamed out of fear, as he attempted to flee.

Something just happened to the Kyuubi, almost as if someone made him snap. His eyes glowed red and screamed across whole Konohagakure, as he swung his arm around violently, destroying some building.

He just destroyed them with a rage. He slammed one of his tail and crushed the building like an ant. Another tail waggled around, destroying the tower. Even his roar winded up and destroyed more building, even killing civilians who happened to be there.

"Damn you, Kyuubi! This is the moment I release my pent-up power!" Gai shouted, as he raised his hands, very determined to fight the Kyuubi for what it did to the village.

"Don't be hasty, Gai!" sweat-dropped Kakashi. What kind of Gai was this guy? Was he fearless guy or something?

Gai pulled his left knee up while standing with only one leg, and stretched his hands out widely. "Come on! I'll be your opponent!"

"Idiot!" Fayre scowled, looking at the Kyuubi with a disbelief. "You're going to be killed like that! The Kyuubi is not kind of opponent we can take on lightly! Even idiots knew that!"

But an elite jounin put his hand up to signal the stop at them, as he stood back at them. "Wait!"

"Huh?" confused Gai.

"Gather immediately in the guardroom!" ordered the elite jounin.

"Why?" asked Gai.

"It's the Sandaime Hokage-sama's orders!" said the elite jounin.

Gai knitted his eyebrows and left his mouth open. "Hiruzen-sama?"

"You heard. Let's go, Gai!" said Kakashi.

Fayre scowled. He did not like that when he had to do nothing useful. He did not wish to be left out and not be able to fight the Kyuubi, but he knew he could not disobey Sandaime Hokage's orders. Just as he turned around, he heard the voice cry. He stopped and looked around, only to find that the kid trembled in fear, just standing over there who had no parents to look over.

He stood there, frozen and left his mouth open in fear for the threat to this child's life. That child must have been 5 years old or something. That kid cuddled the teddy bear to his chest, crying out for his parents.

"Fayre!" cried Kakashi. He knew why Fayre stood there, watching the helpless kid over there. He wanted to save the kid's life, but he could not do that because he was not fast enough and plus, it was on the order of Sandaime Hokage.

The problem was… Fayre had soft spots for these civilian kids. As long as that kid was in danger, he was more than willing to disobey the order of Sandaime Hokage just for the sake of that kid's life.

"What're you doing?! Go!" demanded the elite jounin.

"B-But the kid—" hesitated Fayre.

"We'll take care of it! Go to the guardroom immediately!"

Fayre did not listen. He had no faith in these jounins. He knew they did not have a time to save the kids and fight the Kyuubi at the same time. They probably would fail to protect kids.

He had no trust in them either. He did not trust any of his fellow comrades. Last time he trusted them, one of them killed his brother namely Kakashi!

But then he realized that the Kyuubi spotted the kid and was prepared to kill him by throwing down the palm towards him.

"No!" Fayre cried. He crouched down very low. When he did that, it would mean he would run at high-speed. He was one of fastest ninja in the Konohagakure, besides Minato.

Kakashi widened his eyes and cried, "No, wait, Fayre!" He tried to reach out to Fayre, but before he knew the next thing, Fayre disappeared in an instant.

Fayre appeared by the kid and grabbed him, but when he looked up, he widened his eyes and gasped. The Kyuubi slammed his hand upon them, destroying the house next to them and caused the fire, spreading it through the next building.

"Fayre!" cried Kakashi. 'No, no, no! He can't be dead!' He thought he just failed to protect Fayre and just broke another promise to Obito. He shut his eyes down and clenched his jaws.

But he was relieved when Fayre escaped just in the nick of time and put the kid down. "Are you okay?"

The kid was in shocked. There's no words that he could form out of his mouth. He just simply nodded in response to his savior.

Fayre gave out his rare smile to the kid, even though he was only nine years old himself. "Good. Now go and follow the civilians. That's where they will be evacuated to. Now go!"

The kid immediately obeyed his order and ran to follow the civilians who were on way to evacuation point.

"You disobeyed the order," said the elite jounin sternly, only to receive a hard glare from Fayre. But he was not fazed by the glare. "Now go!"

Just before Kakashi, Fayre, and Gai turned to leave, they suddenly noticed that the Kyuubi formed the dark purple sphere out of his mouth, somehow aiming at Hokage Monument. There was four Hokage stone faces that carved into the mountain.

'Oh, no! If he fires that one, we're done for good!' realized Kakashi.

Despite all the situation they had the trouble to go through, Gai chose this time-of all time-to be goofy. He simply raised his fist with the river of a tear streaming down from his eyes. "Then I regret to inform you that we can't do the challenge for the final time! How springtime of youthful! But boy, I'm so glad that I'm still young! Goodbye, Kakashi!"

He cried like an idiot and did something in attempt to hug him, only to be sucker punch by Kakashi, as he fell flat on his back.

Kakashi sweat-dropped, "We're not going to die."

At last, The Kyuubi fired the dark purple sphere towards the Hokage Monument.

"DAMMIT!" Fayre titled his head up and screamed all the way to the sky. He did not think he could kill Kakashi anymore, because he thought they all were going to die! But then again, if he was going to die, he might as well have waited for his final moment, so he could go to see Obito again.

However, Kakashi noticed something or someone standing on the top of Yondaime Hokage's stone face. He widened his eyes, realizing that it was Yondaime Hokage. He just figured out why Yondaime Hokage would stand over there. 'He's going to use Hirashin no Jutsu on that thing.'

True enough, the black seal appeared in the mid-air in front of Hokage Monument. When it did, it disappeared along with the dark purple sphere. A moment later, somewhere in this far distance, there was large explosion over the mountain. But there was a glimpse of the explosion sphere over the mountain. That was all they could see.

They could gawk over the mountain for as long as they wanted, but they were called by the elite jounin. "All right! Now, go, go, go! This is not safe for you guys!"

Kakashi, Fayre, and Gai could only nod at him, and immediately rushed on way to meet at the guardroom.

Later- Somewhere in the Forest

"Now listen up." Three older Jounin stood in front of many young shinobi who lined up and packed up, listening to every words they said. It may be chuunin or jounin. They were mixed up in one area. "You young shinobi are to stay away from the Kyuubi."

Fayre scowled, 'So I don't get to fight the Kyuubi?!' He refused to let that fox monster to stand by and destroyed every single thing it saw. He was not going to let the children to die. He was willing to disobey the order again, even if it means being scum, just for the sake of the children's lives. He did not care about the older people anyways. But he did not wish to speak up. He would just keep quiet, as Uchiha normally would.

Thankfully, there was one girl who did not like it a bit and was willing to speak up. "What do you mean by that?"

"This is not a battle between villages." The one in the middle said. "This is domestic trouble. There is no reason for you all to risk your lives."

The girl showed her fist up and scowled. "Speak for yourself!"

"Calm down, Kurenai!" The young man next to her reassured her.

"You're a shinobi too. We are not guaranteed a long life. But, my daughter… At least, pass on the Will of Fire to my grandchild." The older shinobi smiled, "Make that your oath to your father. For I do believe in you."

Kurenai was taken aback by his quote. Grandchild?

"You're not allowed to leave this area until the battle is over. This area has sealed with the barrier, so none of you guys may leave. Farewell." The older shinobi smiled at his daughter, but for some reason, she felt like it was his final time to see her. A trio shinobi proceeded to leave the area, permitted to leave through the barrier on way to face the Kyuubi.

"Wait, Father!" cried Kurenai. She also tried to go after him, but she was restrained by the boy who stood next to her. "Let me go, Asuma!"

"Wait, calm down, Kurenai!" Asuma tried his best to keep her in his hold, but she tried so hard to shake him off. "Hey, hey!"

Kakashi sighed. 'There's nothing we can do. But at least Fayre is still alive. I still have a chance to protect him, not to let him die. I made a promise to Obito after all.'

Then he glanced sideways, and much to his shock, where Fayre was supposed to be at was not there. He disappeared!

He panicked. Where did Fayre go? There's no way Fayre could leave this barrier without a permission! But then again, Fayre was a skilled shinobi, so there should not be a surprise that he could sneak out of barrier, but he was not sure why he was surprised. And he did not understand why Fayre would choose to risk his life like that.

He realized that other one was also missing. The guy who also went missing was Fayre's best friend. Fayre's best friend was not the type to disobey the order, so that means he must have gone after Fayre to stop him.

But he had a funny feeling about this. He started to worry as few minutes had passed. As an ANBU, it should be piece of cake to sneak out of the barrier without them noticing, or any of his friends for that matter.

He decided to make a move. He slowly sneaked into the crowd, so older shinobi would not notice them at all. He glanced around to ensure that no Jounin would notice him, and then he quietly sneaked out of the barrier. Once he was out of their sight, he started to hoop on branch one after one to find Fayre.

'Where are you, Fayre?' thought Kakashi.

Later

Kakashi landed on the branch, glancing around. He could not even find Fayre. What could he have gone to?

His panic started to get worse and worse. He feared that Fayre might die for his stupidity. Did Fayre seriously go after the Kyuubi to fight? But he did not any sign of the Kyuubi. Maybe the Kyuubi had been defeated then. At this rate, he would need to find Fayre before everyone else by then.

Speak of devil, the voice called out to him. "Kakashi!"

Kakashi widened his eyes. That voice was from Fayre. He could feel that Fayre was behind him, pointing the kunai right to his back neck.

Why would Fayre want to kill him at the time like that? This wasn't the time to fight when their village were in dangerous.

"I knew you were looking for me. But I'm glad you did, because this is my only and one chance!" Fayre laughed. "Under this critical situation, our fight will not be interrupted! At this moment, no one will intervene to save you! For what you did to my brother, and for that, I'm going to get my revenge!"

'Damn! To think I'd let myself to be ambushed. I should have been careful, especially when he's gone after my head tonight,' thought Kakashi.

"DIE!" Fayre screamed, as he lunged his kunai forward. At this moment, he successfully impaled the kunai into his neck before removing it out of his neck. The blood flew off. He grinned like madman. 'I…' In his world, it was like slow-mo when Kakashi gasped and slowly fell sideways. 'I… I finally got my revenge! Now I can savor your blood on my hands… forever!'

However, much to his shock, Kakashi was replaced with the log with some splinter of wooden flew off.

Fayre widened his eyes in shock. 'Kawarimi no Jutsu?! When did he use that?! I thought I had him! He tricked me!'

He bared his teeth and clenched his fists with a lot of anger and hatred contained in his body, as he spun around and activated his new Mangekyo Sharingan. He shot a glare at Kakashi who stood on the branch not too far away in front of him.

Kakashi was caught by a surprise. 'What's that form of Sharingan? I've never seen it before. When did it evolved into that form of Sharingan? I got no choice but to use this.' He positioned his hitai-ate that covered his left eye up to his forehead, revealing the Sharingan. 'He's dangerous right now. I can't take any chance. I have to render him unconscious without killing somehow."

"HOW DARE YOU!" Fayre screamed with an uncontrollable rage. "How dare you use that Sharingan against me?! Using my brother's eye against me?! YOU KILLED HIM!" He picked up his scroll from the pouch and unrolled to summon his favorite twin swords. "Seeing you using that Sharingan is disgraceful and shameful to our clan! I won't let you taint our clan with that stolen Sharingan!"

'But how do I render him unconscious without at least killing him? Is there a way I can do to make him unconscious?' thought Kakashi.

He was not pay attention to his own battle. He looked up and widened his eyes. Fayre jumped down towards him and prepared his twin sword before crossing his sword.

Kakashi ducked.

Fayre landed and drifted his feet away onto the ground before turning around and immediately hurled one of his twin swords towards Kakashi, but he just side-stepped, as the sword flew past him.

Kakashi was not aware of Fayre's new powers that he just unlocked.

The sword suddenly stopped flying away, as it turned around to point at Kakashi from the behind. Then the sword flew again towards Kakashi.

Fayre grinned, 'He won't definitely expect this one!'

Kakashi widened his eyes, as he realized it was too late. The sword pierced through his back just out of his chest, dripping with the blood on top of the sword. His eyes were shaking with a loss of blood, or at least what Fayre thought.

Once again, he was replaced with the log that fell down to the floor with the sword stuck into it.

"Not again!" muttered Fayre. He hated it when Kakashi did that. He knew Kakashi always used Kawarimi no Jutsu to give himself a time to find the weakness or waiting for back-ups. That's what he does. It was so annoying! Kakashi did not do anything to him yet.

He looked everywhere, but he could not find a trace of Kakashi. It made him so mad. He could not lose his chance when he could have killed him!

"C'mon! Where are you?! You know you can run, but you can't hide from me foreeeever!" Fayre yelled. 'Or an ambush.' He already had his arms up to guard himself in the case of an ambush.

From the above, Kakashi leaned his back against the tree, hiding from his hateful opponent. 'Damn! It seems that every rage built up inside him, sanity's taking some out of him. He seemed to have enough intent to kill me. So if he killed me, he'd lose all of his sanity for sure, so I could not let that to happen.'

He needed to find a way to convince this Uchiha bastard that he did not kill Obito, and that the large rock crushed upon him, but it was so hard. He heard that most Uchihas were too stubborn. Once they made up their minds like they absolutely wanted, there's no way to stop them.

For instance, Obito made up by going to save Rin, but Kakashi tried to reassure him that abandoning the mission is a scum.

All Uchiha clansmen were too stubborn and they did have a short temper. But by the far he had seen, Fayre was the worse one. He had a lot of problem with his temper, even before his brother died.

"WHERE ARE YOU?!" bellowed Fayre. "If you don't come out, then I'll burn you alive with Uchiha's signature jutsu attack!" He weaved through familiar hand signs.

Kakashi widened his eyes, noticing Fayre's hand signs. 'That hand signs…'

Not wanting to let Fayre to use that technique, he emerged from the tree he was hiding behind and leapt towards Fayre, striking at him with the kunai of his own.

But his kunai was parried by Fayre's kunai, as they struggled each other on the ground, trying to overcome each other.

"You…" Fayre hissed. "…Why are you holding back?! WHY?!" Enraged by his action, he swatted Kakashi's kunai with his own kunai and then delivered a powerful sidekick to the guts, doubled him over and knocked him away to the ground.

Kakashi fell on his butt, as it slid away from them a good couple of feet away. He groaned in the pain, gripping his stomach.

"You held back!" Fayre hated that. That was one of thing he hated the most. Having an opponent who held back during the fight shattered his pride alone! "You know I don't like it when you do that!" Kakashi did that many times against him. It infuriated him further. "Why didn't you treat me like your enemy?! After all, I fought and tried to kill you few times! WHY?!"

Kakashi groaned, thanks to his stomach being damaged by Fayre. He slowly got on his knees, and replied. "Because I made a promise to your brother."

Fayre seemed unable to form the words of his mouth, as he left his mouth open a little.

"I made a promise to Obito. I promised him that I'd protect you with my life. That's why I can't kill you no matter how many times you tried to kill me!" Kakashi told him. "That's why I held back."

Hopefully, that would knock some sense into Fayre. Maybe if he would let him to tell him the story how Obito died, Fayre would have believed in him.

"You've got to be kidding me," muttered Fayre. His mouth started to twitch up and down in some time.

"Please…" Kakashi stood up on his feet. "Please stop this pointless fight. There's no reason for us to fight when we're in critical situation right now. We have to go back to guardroom."

Fayre suddenly burst with hysterical laughter. "HAHAHAHAHAHA!"

Kakashi just felt the cold air filling into him when Fayre laughed like that. When you heard someone laughing like that, it was never a good sign. That's why it was so scared.

Fayre continued to laugh. "You? Promise with Nii-san? HAHAHAHAHA! Don't make me laugh! Cut the crap! I'm about to lose my laugh box! Even if you did, knowing Nii-san, I'm willing to bet that I'm not only one that you're supposed to protect with your life!"

Kakashi gulped. Fayre was very smart. He'd give him that.

"Apparently, I am—or was—not only person that you're supposed to protect with your life!" Fayre scowled, giving him a hatred glare. "I reckoned that you also promised him that you're supposed to protect Rin with your life, yet she died at the hand of your petty technique! You killed her, so why could you not do the same to me?! Am I that more precious to you than Rin is to you?!"

"Listen—" Kakashi tried his best to soothe him, but was interrupted by Fayre's yelling.

"SHUT UP!" Fayre yelled. "You killed Rin with no problem. You already broke one promise to him! But you can't break a promise about protecting me with your life, huh?!"

'Dammit! My words aren't getting to his head yet!' thought Kakashi.

"So how about it?!" Fayre pointed his thumb at his own chest. "Why not you use that petty technique of yours against me?!"

Kakashi widened his eyes. Was he serious? Did he really wanted him to kill him? But his promise… he could not stain his close friend's brother's blood on his hand.

"Use it against me…" Fayre stretched his hands out, allowing himself to be open. "…just like you killed that BITCH!"

Bitch. That word Kakashi disliked someone talking that way about Rin.

Suddenly, he weaved through hand signs so fast and gripped his left hand on the right wrist, charging up the lightning around in his right hand. 'Damn it! He left me no choice. I'd have to use this technique against him, even if it means ending his career as a ninja for life! That way I can keep my promise to Obito. All I need is to miss his vital.'

Fayre smirked, "That's more like it! Come to me with the intent to kill!" With that, he charged towards Kakashi with the twin swords in each hand.

Kakashi also charged towards him with the lightning still in his right hand, as he began to lunge his lightning hand forward. 'Going for his shoulder! Going for his shoulder!' He repeated that words to remind himself that he was not here to kill Fayre. All he wanted to stop Fayre from this madness.

He indeed did aim at Fayre's shoulder. Every seconds, they came closer and closer to each other. He definitely went for the shoulder, as his lightning hand finally reached for the shoulder.

However, much to his shock, Fayre slightly moved up, altering Kakashi's aim to his chest. 'No! I can't change the aim of my Raikiri at this moment!' He knew there was nothing he could do.

It was too late…

At that moment he knew he broke yet another promise to Obito…

He already regretted that move…

His Raikiri reached the destination, as it pierced—

Flashback Ends

Kakashi tensed as he didn't want to remember how he killed Fayre, and how it impacted his emotions after Fayre's death. It was bad memory he wished to forget….

"I know I apologized too many times, Obito, but I can't forgive myself for accidentally killing two of your precious people. I killed Rin. I killed Fayre. But… Lee and Tenten claimed that they saw Fayre whom Gai knew when he was young. They said that he's still alive. I didn't want to believe them, but something strange came to me. I've started to think that he was never with you, and that he's always been alive. Joined forces with Coola, I reckon." Kakashi said before….

"Kakashi-senpai…" A new voice startled him, as he looked behind him.

"Tenzo…" Kakashi said as he turned to Tenzo. Tenzo had short brown hair and black, almond-shaped eyes. He wore the standard attire of the ANBU, with a sword strapped to his back, a mask that resembled a cat's face covered in green, and red markings, strapped to the top of his head, and the ANBU tattoo on his left shoulder.

"You know that Coola and his men are here, right?" asked Tenzo.

"Yeah…" Kakashi nodded, as he looked up at the cloud during the daytime. "If they're here, it means Fayre could be here….If he's alive, that is."

Tenzo smiled and readjusted his ANBU mask to his face. "Kakashi-senpai, I'm here on the orders of Hokage-sama, to bring Sakura and Hinata-sama back immediately."

Kakashi sighed as he couldn't argue with her order. After all, he was the one who suggested to Tsunade to send them on the mission to bring Danzo to justice but it was too soon. Now it's his responsibility to bring Sakura and Hinata back so they could be ready for the fight before Coola and his men would decimate Konohagakure.

Land of Fire, Forest- Fayre vs Tobi

There wasn't a weakness in Tobi as every time Fayre attempted to land a hit, he phased through Tobi.

He even tried to calculate how long Tobi could use that technique, and how long was the cooldown for him to use that technique, but he could not. He felt like Tobi was actually a ghost himself.

He knew he should give up, but he disliked giving up. He never gave up before and so he would try his best to find the weakness to Tobi.

Though, thanks to his earlier fight against Itachi, he suffered damage in his fight against Tobi.

He just fought three opponents less than an hour!

Deidara, Itachi and Tobi….

Somehow, he kept surviving and strived to beat his opponents. In the past, every time he fought an opponent, he always had a near-death experience and every time he came back from a near-death experience, he became stronger. He always wondered why until Erize told him that he was half-Saiyan.

A blood was running down from his forehead. Tobi just reopened the wound on his forehead. He first received the wound on his forehead when he fought against Itachi. He had to close off his other eye when it ran down into his eye. He had to wipe off, so it would not become nuisance to his vision.

That was not only blood he shed, his stomach was also bleeding. That indicated that he was stabbed by Tobi a moment ago.

Tobi was a ruthless savage and he would do anything to kill Fayre though that's what Fayre wanted. He always loved to have a very tough challenge and this was the big challenge he had to face. To defeat the ghost in front of him! He was always thrilled for fights. He loved fighting.

'I guess that's because I'm part Saiyan after all. My love for fighting never disappeared at all,' Fayre thought as he stood in the middle of the forest floor, gawking up at Tobi who stood on top of a branch, glancing down at him.

"By the way, you said when you found out that your fellow Uchiha clansmen were wiped by out by Itachi, you were so angry even though you betrayed your own clan, Konohagakure, and all of the Elementians, but have you ever wondered once why Itachi killed all of them, but spared one?"

Fayre raised his eyebrows in confusion as he asked, "W-What? What're you talking about?"

"What I'm about to tell you is…" Tobi said as he narrowed his right eye through the hole in his mask before he continued, "…the truth about Uchiha Clan Massacre."

Hokage's Office, Konohagakure- With Gohan and Others

That was the most scared Gohan had ever felt in his whole life. Surely, he was scared many times before, but this was the worse one. He did not know why, but he had a feeling that today would not go very well.

Who was the most intimidation guy he ever met?

Coola or Freeza?

It was definitely Coola.

That's probably because he knew what Coola was capable of. He had seen what Freeza did after all. If that Coola guy was Freeza's brother, then they could be similar then.

Coola had more intimidation aura in him than Freeza had in him, at least to Gohan's point of view.

"Coola…" hissed Tsunade.

Coola simply smirked at her. "Greeting, Lady Hokage."

Despite her calm expression, she certainly was trembling in fear before the presence of Coola and his two powerful men. She knew he was too powerful enough even for her to handle. They could have wiped Konohagakure in a second if they wanted.

"What do you want?" demanded the Godaime Hokage.

"Of course, you'd want me to get to the point." Coola snickered, as he hung his both hands behind his back in very polite manner. "Then I'll get to the point. Give me the location of Uzumaki Naruto."

"No." Tsunade was so quick to reply with a stern glare. "I cannot."

Coola's mouth curled into a smile a little. "I see. May I inquire to ask you why?" As he thought. No one on this planet would be more cooperation, but as he expected, she was not very cooperative person either.

Tsunade closed her eyes, as she grasped her hands together on the desk. "I cannot answer that." She opened her eyes again. She had to choose her words wisely, or that might have angered Coola. "He was last seen locked up in the jail underground. But…"

Coola narrowed his eyes. Naruto was locked in the jail… but what for reason? Then it hit him. He recalled Fayre's explanation of nine jinichuriki. Naruto was among them. But jinichuriki were hated by a village, because they viewed them as Biju itself.

"But he had gone missing nearly a month ago," finished Tsunade.

Coola frowned, "So, you don't know the whereabouts of Naruto then?" He did not come all the way to Konohagakure just to find out that Naruto went missing. Either, Tsunade's lying or telling the truth, but he chose the former.

Tsunade chose to remain silent, only to give him an intense glare. She hated him since the day one. He and his henchmen had destroyed four villages. She did not wish Konohagakure to be their fifth victim!

"Very well." Those words were very ice and thin.

Gohan froze. 'No… those words! Just like Freeza!'

Back on Namek, Freeza would say 'very well' and then ordered his henchmen to kill some Namekians.

"Paradox," commanded Coola. He did not need to tell Paradox what to do. His top henchmen were top rank enough to know what the hell he's doing. That's why Coola admired them so much, because they knew what he's talking about, much better than those shitty soldiers of Freeza.

Paradox grinned, giving him a salute. "Roger!"

Before everyone knew what was going to happen, Paradox suddenly rammed his hand through the nearby ANBU's chest, as the blood spluttered out of the chest. The first ANBU passed away to the ground, killed.

Gohan and Kuririn gasped in horror at the recent action. Shizune gasped with her free hand covering her lips in shock. Hirzuen already tensed up.

Although Tsunade did not show, but the rage inside her started to build up. How dare he?! He murdered him in cold-blood. But she knew better than to start the battle against Coola. She had to stall him until Sakura and Hinata came back. That's why she ordered Kakashi and Tenzo to bring them back.

"Tsunade-sama…" Shizune said softly. She could see that Tsunade was trembling… with fear… or rage? Eventually, there would be outbreak soon before Sakura and Hinata could even come back. But she was very concerned about Konohagakure. Would it be destroyed by Coola in search of Naruto?

However, another ANBU couldn't take this anymore, as he rushed blindly towards Paradox and brought the katana down at him.

Paradox simply laughed at him. "Ya know… you should not play with that dangerous thing!" In blink of eyes, a sword suddenly shifted into his possession as soon as he caught the katana, and the second ANBU was already stabbed through the chest. The katana was already stained with his blood.

Then Paradox pulled the sword out of the chest, which allowed the second ANBU to fall off to the ground with a loss of blood, but then he noticed that this guy was still alive, so he stabbed once again and left the sword through the chest alone.

After that, he returned to his position and grinned like an idiot. "All right! I am so pumped for the fight!" He could swear that the frog bastard was giving him a cold stare.

Man, he could not stand this frog bastard. He wished he could give him a good beating once again. But he had to stay calm, or he would be scolded by Coola… in front of these epic audience. Man, he loved this audience. They gasped more often.

"Oh, no! That's so horrible!" shocked Kuririn. 'A-At this rate, we're going to die before we know it!'

On unnoticed, Gohan clenched his fists, as he started to build up the rage. He could not stand to see more deaths!

"And that's the consequence." Coola warned them. "Sometimes, you have to face the harsh punishment when you refused to comply with me. It could have ended different way, but you chose otherwise. Perhaps, this time, you're willing to give out the information I am expecting, yes?"

Tsunade growled. "I—" She was halted by Hirzuen's hand that raised against her. "Sandaime-sama?"

Hirzuen did not cast a glance at her a bit. He indeed set his sight on Coola and started to ask most important question he needed to know. "Coola, isn't it?"

Coola smirked. "That would be my name."

"I failed to see why you wish to see Naruto. Any history related to him and you in the past event?" Sandaime Hokage asked very polite, and then explained. "During my reign as Hokage, I was unaware of his action towards you during his absence of past two years."

"I'm glad you asked. But it's simple and plain, you see. That brat was worth trouble than you could have asked for. He disgraced us and tainted our legacy during his fight against Freeza. I do not take racist very lightly." Coola explained and looked at Tsunade again. "Now, I will ask you again. Where is Uzumaki Naruto?"

Despite the recent event that Paradox just demonstrated, Godaime Hokage was still too stubborn and replied scornfully. "I already say no. I cannot tell you Naruto's location, because I really don't know where he is."

Coola gave out a desperate sigh. He must know where Naruto was at, but no one was willing to answer him. But he knew that Naruto lived in Konohagakure, so one of them must have known where he had gone to. He closed his eyes to ponder for a moment, and then opened his eyes again.

"Guure…" If he must know where Naruto was, then this frog-man would get it done right away.

Guure nodded. At that moment, he suddenly appeared behind Shizune, which startled her to cause the loose pig to jump out of her arm. Then he strangled her and put her in a sleeper hold, and had his free hand to lay upon her head.

"Shizune!" Tsunade got up so fast that her chair fell away, shaking her fist in fear for Shizune's life. She always had been Sannin lady's apprentice for many years, and she always looked after her, who grew up with her since the attack of the Kyuubi.

After a while, Guure's hand began to heat up Shizune, almost as if he was cooking her, streaming out of her head.

Shizune screamed intensely. Every body part on her skin gradually became red, but it was getting worse and worse.

Kuririn cringed by her scream and shook his body with a fear at the same time. In the meantime, Gohan shot a glare at Guure with a disdain, as blood boiled inside his chest. But he had to control himself. Hokage told them that they needed to stall until Sakura and Hinata got here.

Tsunade cried, "Shizune! Stop it!"

Shizune's tone became less and less until her scream was no longer very loud. It was very quiet. She left her mouth open in shock.

Guure frowned, what seemed like disappointment at least. He left his hand from the top of her head.

However, once Guure left his hand off her head, she could only mutter the final word before her final breath. "Tsu…nade…" Before she died, she shredded the tears for the final time before collapsing away. She was scorched to death.

Danzo's ROOT Base- With Sakura and Hinata

Danzo was not only one that received a hateful glare, but Lightning got one as well. They hated him the moment he emerged because he ordered Shadow to took a portion of blood from Sakura.

But it did not matter anyways. He came for what he needed anyways.

Lightning gave out a snort and shrugged his hands. "Whoa, whoa! I'm not your enemy…" Yet. "But I came here for a purpose. But don't fret. You don't need to worry if I'm going to kidnap you or not, Sakura-chan."

Sakura and even Hinata were very wary of him. They were so smart, but they worried too much anyways.

"I merely come on a friendly term. But before I explained to you, allow me to introduce myself." Lightning stated. "In fact, I came from the future. Let's say, about 20 years from now, but whatever… ya know! I suck at math!"

He grinned like an idiot.

Sakura widened her eyes and stared at him in disbelief. "Wait… You… are from the future?!"

"Don't listen to him!" Hinata scowled. "He's trying to brainwash you!"

Sakura never believed in him in the first place, but that tone… he sounded like it was true. Either, he's telling the truth or he's psychopath. Only psychopath would tell the lie without sound like a lie! After all, he wanted her blood for some reason.

Lightning waggled his finger and chuckled. "Oh, no, no, no, Hinata-sama… I know this may sound like I'm crazy, but I'm telling ya!" He became grimace. "It's the truth. I actually came from the future through the time machine. However, it's not pretty future, as you'd have expected. It's full of shit there. Someone created the apocalypse in my time and killed pretty much most of our friends. Almost all of them died. Goku. Vegeta. Gohan. Sasuke. Piccolo. Tenshinhan. Yamucha. Kuririn…"

Sakura widened her eyes and gasped in shock. Did that really happen? But what caused that to happen? Who did all of it? She started to believe in him, because his tone told her otherwise. He was not being dishonest here. He definitely was telling the truth right here. But what about Naruto? Did he survive in the future? Lightning did not mention him in the list after all. But she could not believe that Sasuke was killed as well. Or what about her future counterpart? Did she survive, too?

Hinata noticed the expression in Sakura. She looked so angry. She did not like this a bit. She believed that Lightning probably had brainwashed her at least.

She shot him a glare. "SHUT UP! Enough with your lies!" She already set up her Juuken and charged towards him, but all of the sudden, she fell down without him even touched her. After that, she could not even get up or even able to move for some reason. She struggled, but it was worthless. 'What's this pressure? What did he do? How did he do that to me without moving at all? Or even worse, how did he do to me without touching me at all?'

Lightning casually strolled past paralyzed Hinata towards Sakura. He walked around her and continued. "Only few fighters who survives right now are Naruto and me. Well, Sasuke and you lived for few years. But Sasuke betrayed us for the power and left us, so I killed him. And as for you… You were killed in the hand of Sasuke. Chidori right into your heart. Since Piccolo was linked with Kami, their death meant the disappearance of Dragon Balls, there's no way to retrieve you. So I time traveled to the past for Naruto… to retrieve your future counterpart.

"However, I learned that there's no way to bring your future counterpart back to life. Let's call her Future Sakura from on now. We could not bring her back to life in this timeline because she died in the future. In other words, she never died in this timeline. So I gathered a bunch of useful allies and found a certain race who could bring her back to life. But in order to do so…"

He shook his head and perished the thought of his own timeline. He never wanted to repeat that timeline, so that's why he time traveled to this timeline.

"Never mind that…" Lightning stopped in front of her and gently caressed her face, who was startled a bit. "I should not tell all of this to you. You should not need to know about the future. I am only here to alter the time that should have taken a place here during this event."

"HEY! BACK OFF! LEAVE HER ALONE!" screamed Hinata in rage, as she tried so hard to escape Lightning's technique. For some reason, her reaction to him touching Sakura's face suddenly triggered her temper. "Come on, you imbecile! Get this through your stupid head! He's trying to brainwash you into doing your bidding for him! Don't listen to him! He's lying! Can't you see that he's lying?! WAKE UP!"

Just when Sakura started to believe in his story, she finally realized that he was with Danzo. If he was with Danzo, then he must be bad guy, too. She must be stupid for thinking that he told the truth.

She quickly jumped away from him and raised her fists against him to let him know that she could not be fooled anymore. "What're you doing here?! Why are you with Danzo?!"

Lightning sighed, as he walked away to return to Danzo's side and turned to face Sakura as well as releasing Hinata from her paralysis, allowing her to return to Sakura's side. "I have my reasons but like I said, I come here on friendly terms with you guys. I'm here to inform you of your upcoming death that would take place here today." Lightning explained while Sakura frowned as she couldn't trust him…. after all, how could he come from the future."

Sakura frowned. She could not trust him. He was not really from the future, isn't he? If he's really from the future, then why would he want to alter the event and possibly created a paradox like that?

"Don't worry. Since I am going to inform you of your upcoming death today, you will not die. That's why I'm here to change the event. Because in an alternative timeline, you died in the worst way possible. You fell to your death in this bottomless pit. You don't want the worst death ever, right?"

"Look, you crazy man!" Hinata growled, as she clenched her fists, not believing his words, "You can go screw yourself because we DO NOT trust you! I repeat, we don't trust you! Whatever you're saying, we won't believe you!"

Sakura nodded in agreement with her because as long as he's working with Danzo, they wouldn't trust him.

"Again, I came here for a specific reason. Here, take this." The scroll materialized on Lightning's hand, as he tossed it at Sakura, who caught it easily and looked at him with a confusion. "Open it and you will see an event that unfolded in an alternative timeline."

Sakura hesitated, but she opened the scroll anyway, along with Hinata who stood by her side so they both could see what went on in the scroll and upon opening it, there was a video.

The bridge was already broken in half. Hinata was fighting a bunch of Coola's men who recently already attacked Konoha. She couldn't help Sakura to safety because Coola's men were distracting her.

While Hinata was focused on her opponents, Sakura already clung to bridge, barely hung up her hand onto the edge of the bridge, dangling around, while holding onto Danzo's hand. She just tried her best to not let him to fall to his death. That's why she was holding his hand.

She struggled to pull up, but she was too weak, thanks to her power being stolen. Without her powers, she was powerless to fly and even unable to climb up. So she had no choice but to wait for Hinata to finish fighting.

"Please, wait a few seconds. She'll be there to save us, Danzo," Sakura reassured.

Danzo shot his glare up at her. "Damn! I'm not going to die alone! You're going to die together with me!" He then lunged out at her with his free hand and grabbed her short hair to pull her down, which caused her to lose the grip on the bridge.

Just right after Hinata just defeated all of her opponents, she rushed to Sakura who just lost her grip on the bridge.

"Sakura!" Hinata cried in horror. She hurried to lay down and tried to grab her hand but she missed and watched in horror, as Sakura had fallen into the black pitch of bottomless pit along with Danzo.

"SAAAAAAKUUUUUURA!" Hinata screamed.

Sakura and Hinata were in disbelief when they viewed the video on the scroll. So in that timeline, Sakura and Danzo fell to their deaths while Hinata survived in this very place?

But one thing they were not sure about. Was it real? Did that really happen in an alternative timeline? Was Lightning really from the future? They were still wary of him whether the whole thing was real or fake.

Hinata snatched the scroll away from Sakura and tossed it back at Lightning who caught it immediately. "SCRAM! We're not here to talk about your stupid future! We're here to bring Danzo with us back to Hokage-sama for the justice!"

Danzo shot her a glare, but remained silent anyways.

Lightning smiled and shrugged. "You don't have to trust me. But… there's something I wanted to show you. It might be a big shock to you, but…" He glanced at Danzo and nodded.

Danzo closed his left eye with a sigh. "Step forward…" He ordered two Root ANBU behind him, as they both stepped forward. One was a male, and other one was a female. "Remove your masks immediately."

Both Root ANBU slowly removed their mask and when they did, it was a big surprise for both Sakura and Hinata.

"I-I-Impossible…" Hinata stuttered.

Sakura slowly widened her eyes, gaping. "D-D-Dad… M-M-Mom…?!"

Indeed, it truly was Haruno Kizashi and Haruno Mebuki! They stared at her very emotionless as their appearance remained the same, except for the fact that they wore Root ANBU attire and their eyes were dark purple instead of their regular color.

Random Fan: I TOLD YOU IT'S YOU!

ME: AHHHHHHHHH! YOU ARE DRIVING ME INSANE! BEGONE! (Punches Random Fan all the way to heaven, er, another layer of heaven) Finally, I just got rid of that crazy man! ALthough I might lose a fan, but oh well... less crazy people, the better. (whistles and walk around)

A/N: All right! I know there's a shock that Sakura's parents are still alive. Yes, there's plot twist! But I'm going to warn you. Next chapter is going to be a bit of gruesome death. I can't tell you who will die next! But poor Shizune! She died in horrible death.

I know this chapter focuses more on Sakura and Hinata than Fayre or Coola. Next chapter will focus more on Sakura and Hinata, and Fayre vs Tobi than Coola.

Then on Chapter 108, we will focus more on Coola and his men. And probably few more on Fayre vs Tobi. I'm not sure because I can't predict the future lol.
