Chapter 107: Harsh Punishment
Age 763, December 1- Danzo's ROOT Base- With Sakura and Hinata
Sakura's and Hinata's bodies stiffened, as they gaped at two people who were believed to have died last week. How were they still alive? Sakura and Hinata had no clue. But, they had a feeling that Danzo had to do something with them.
"I-I-It c-c-can't b-be…!" Hinata stuttered. She cursed herself for stuttering, because that was like her old self. She'd only stutter if she was nervous, embarrassed, or shocked. "I-I th-th-thought t-they w-were d-d-dead…"
She was certain that she had seen their corpses with her own eyes. The autopsy confirmed that it was definitely them, that it was really her parents. She even checked their bodies with her Byakugan! Their bodies were real!
Usually, the Byakugan can detect almost anything. Even if someone tried to henge or use Kage Bunshin to fool the user, she would've still detected them. That's why the Byakugan was considered to be the strongest dojutsu (Visual Jutsu). They used to rival the Sharingan before the Uchiha clan was massacred. Now, the Byakugan was considered to be the strongest dojutsu, excluding Sasuke's and Itachi's Sharingan (Because Sasuke possessed Ki, while Itachi's a missing-nin).
She wondered how come she had been fooled by the fake corpses. She suspected that Danzo must've probably used the same forbidden jutsu on them, the very same one that Fayre used to fake his death during the day of the birth of Uzumaki Naruto.
But how was that possible? She was infuriated by the fact that she did not manage to detect fake corpse when she actually used Byakugan on them and confirmed that they were indeed Haruno Kizashi and Haruno Mebuki's corpses.
Flashback Began- Age 763, November 24- Sakura's House- With Hinata
A scream echoed into her ears, as she widened her eyes with a fear. "Oh, no!"
She hurried, and jumped down on the floor, so she could get to the door. She knew something was really wrong. If she knocked on the door, she doubted they would answer, so she had to kick the door since it was locked. She succeeded in kicking the door to bust it open.
She widened her eyes, as she trembled in fear. What she just saw was that Sakura's parents were lying on the floor with pounds of blood on the floor and some trickling from their body.
Flashback Ended
Hinata—of all people—was a very proud heiress of the Hyuuga Clan, who wanted to end the cursed seal to Branch House members. A cursed seal was created by the Main House members that branded upon the members of the Branch House upon the third birthday of the heir or heiress to the Main House. The seal gave the Main House members absolute control over the branch members, because they could destroy the branch members' brain cells with a simple hand seal, or cause them great pain to punish them. This seal also made sure the secret of the Hyuuga's Byakugan was safe, because it sealed the Byakugan after the possession of the seal dies. Basically, the Branch House members had always been the servants to Head House. On her third birthday, her cousin Neji was branded with a seal on his forehead when he was four years old. Since that day, he hated her for making him suffer. She always thought she was partly blame for that event. But apparently, that was not only reason why he hated her.
Long times ago, Kumogakure demanded Hiashi's corpse—her father and head clan of the Hyuuga Clan— for the responsible of the death of Kumogakure ambassador who made an attempt to kidnap Hinata when she was three-years old. However, his twin brother, Hyuuga Hizashi—Neji's father, and also member of Branch House—decided to go in his brother's place as they were twins and Kumogakure would not be able to tell the difference. But instead of Hiashi, Hizash was willing to sacrifice his own life for the safety of their Byakugan secret and Konohagakure in order to avoid the war between them, but because he was branded with the seal, it would seal Byakugan upon his death.
That's why she made a decision to get rid of all cursed seal once she would become the head clan of the Hyuuga clan, so Head House and Branch House could be reunited.
Yet, she was tricked by a fake corpse! Even her father, and the other Hyuuga clan members were tricked as well. She did not like this one bit. But why did Danzo want to fake their death? What was the point of that? What is his intention?
Realization dawned on her face, as she looked at Sakura's still shocked face, who learned that her parents were still alive after all. 'Now I know why! He's going to kill them in front of her!' She clenched her fists and snarled at the idea of having them killed in front of them. It reminded her of her sister's death in front of her. Danzo was a corrupted bastard who would do anything in his power to become a Hokage!
'I can go and kill him, but the problem is…' She altered her eyes from Danzo to Lightning. 'he will paralyze me again.
Sakura was also lost in her train of thoughts. She, just like Hinata, also believed that her parents had died. But they were still alive! She was not sure if she should be happy or terrified. She wasn't sure whether she should be happy seeing her parents alive, or terrified because she had no idea why they were with Danzo. "Dad…Mom…You're still alive?"
Her parents stared at Sakura and Hinata with blank expressions, as if they showed no signs of life. It looked like as if they were physically present, but mentally absent.
"P-Please…Answer me…" Sakura pleaded, but it fell on deaf ears.
Lightning smirked with a very calm aura shrouded around his body. "They cannot answer you. They're under the influence of my good friend, Shadow. Isn't that right, Shadow-san?"
Shadow chuckled and said, "Aye, they're under th' influence 'o mine. They cannot be freed unless I release th' technique I used on them, or if they're harmed at least. What's more, they can only be commanded by me, Danzo, or Lightnin'-sama. They gunna do everythin' we be tellin' them to."
The revelation shocked Hinata, as she thought, 'They are being mind-controlled? I could just charge forward and knock Sakura's parents just enough to break the mind control technique, but either Lightning or Shadow would simply intervene in order to protect them from being harmed…'
Somehow, the way Lightning worded, it sounded like that made Sakura furious. "How dare you!" She glared at Danzo, but not at Lightning or Shadow for some reason, rage taking possession of her body. "I won't forgive you! DANZO!"
She really wanted to run and kill Danzo right now. She realized she should have killed him when she had a chance. In last six days, she thought her parents were dead whole times, only to find out that they were abducted by Danzo and being mind-controlled right now.
She tried to move, but was grabbed by Hinata by her collar.
"Stop!" Hinata exclaimed. It was in high commanding voice. She spoke like a true heiress. Whenever she used that tone, Sakura would freeze on the spot, because she knew that Hinata meant business. She glared at Danzo and punched her palm, as she cackled some knuckles. "There's no need for you to rush at him. I promised you that I'm going to protect you until you get your powers. Let me blast him away… with my new powers!"
Sakura glanced over her shoulder at her fellow kunochi with a wide-eyes. "Hinata-sama…" she said under her breath.
"Don't sweat it, Sakura." Hinata growled. "A scumbag like him deserves to…die."
Enraged by the simple presence of Danzo being here, she exploded with a rage, and charged towards him.
She hated him so much. He was a son of a bitch, who wanted to be granted for a power. He was a power-hunger. He was a scum, who should rot in hell for all she cared. She had enough of him. He made so many people suffer for what he did to them. How many times will he make people suffer before he finally stops?
Never!
That's why he needed to die.
Lightning felt pity for Hinata as he crossed his arms in front of his chest. "Sorry…Hinata-sama" With a simple snap of his finger, the Hyuuga Heiress suddenly triped on her own and fell face first on the bridge, finding herself unable to move once again.
Lightning stared at Hinata for a few seconds with amusement, before continuing, "I always thought you were the timid, shy type girl… but I suppose some people do change after all?"
Hinata shot him a glare. He used that strange technique again against her. What kind of technique was that? A kind of technique that allowed him to paralyze her by just snapping his finger?
"You see…I made some changes in this timeline since at some point…" Lightning admitted, baffling Sakura and Hinata.
What did he mean by that?
Lightning slowly shut his eyes, leaving himself to contemplate about something, before
Lightning closed his eyes, leaving himself to ponder, and then reopened his blue cold eyes with a smirk. "It's true. I admitted that all the changes in this timeline was done by me. You see, in my timeline, your parents were supposed to be dead right away where they were supposed to be. You should thank me. It was me who saved their life, because I knew what's going on later."
Sakura and Hinata both widened their eyes.
"Of course, how could I forget?" Lightning shook his head and sighed. Then he made his way towards her. "There's other reason why I'm here." He grabbed her chin and titled her up so he could lock his eyes into hers. "I am going to make an offer. Do you mind to join me… for the task to revive Future Sakura, Sakura-chan? We call ourselves RSF (Revival of Sakura Force)"
Sakura spat out right in his face and snarled. "No chance in hell! I will never, ever, ever, EVER, joined the force with the likes of you, you MONSTER!" She already hated him right from the start. She just learned that he saved her parents only to kidnap her parents. What was his problem anyways? What's up with him and his crazy idea about bringing Future Sakura back, in which time machine should not be existed yet?!
His hair shadowed his eyes, as he hung his head down. Almost as if that word 'monster' offended him greatly. He licked her saliva off his face and took a taste of it, but he enjoyed the taste of her saliva so far. Sakura was taken aback by his action. His mouth slightly curled into an sadastic grin. "Oh, you wish you never said that. I did not want this to end that way, but you gave me no choice. Sorry, Sakura-chan."
She scowled. She hated that she was a powerless. She hated that she could not do anything to him. If she tried to do something, he would probably paralyze her just like he did to Hinata twice. She stared at Hinata who was still unable to move on the floor. 'Hinata…'
Even though she trained Hinata in only four days to become very strong, she still had no idea how strong Hinata was right now. Hell, she had no idea how strong Lightning and Shadow were actually. Even if Sakura still had her powers, she would not be able to stop Lightning or Shadow. They probably were beyond Coola's level. The thought of that truly terrified her like that.
He then returned to his previous position, as he stood in between Danzo and Shadow.
Danzo looked at him, who nodded at him. That was a signal. He closed his eyes with a sigh. That was a time to take an action right now. "Kneel." He commanded the man and woman.
Hinata tensed. She tried so hard to move, but she was too paralyzed to move. They were kneeling with their back at Danzo. She knew what that meant. When Danzo commanded them to kneel, that would mean he was going to execute them… in front of Sakura!
She tried to move. No matter how much she struggled, it seemed too impossible for her to be able to break out of this.
So both Sakura's parent did as Danzo commanded to them They kneeled with their blank expression, staring into her shocked eyes. No words exchanged between them. Her parents were not on their mind right now. They were not aware of their existence here in this base. They were not aware of Sakura's presence right here as well. In their eyes, all they saw was a blank. They had no idea what's going on right now, because they were basically unconscious.
Puppets had no mind working right now. They were like brainless zombies. That's why their eyes did not move at all. It was almost as if their eyes were dead. Like they were dead, but actually alive inside.
Sakura's fear came true when Danzo pressed the sharp end of the sword on Kizashi's back. "Wait!" she cried out of fear for her Dad. She did not want them to die. If they were going to die, and they were going to be killed by Danzo, then… "Please… Please… let Dad go… Let Mom go… Let them go…"
She would keep begging for him not to kill them. She tried to hold back crying, but she could not. She would start to sniff.
She did not want them to die!
"Please… Don't kill them." Sakura knew she did not have her power to stop them, so that's why she was unable to do anything. "J-Just… not… kill them." She held her fists to her chest with the tears streaming down from her eyes, sighed in defeat. "I… I… I will join you, Lightning."
As long as they were not killed by any men that were not a member of Coola, then that should be okay. They were most precious family to her in the world. After all, they were her parents. Naruto may be still alive, but she could not let them die. She almost lost shit when Naruto died again. Last time she thought Naruto died and would never be revived, she was willing to give her life to Freeza for him. She even almost died during the battle against Freeza.
She did not want to go through that shit again. If her parents would be killed by the people that were not one of Coola's members, then she would lose shit again.
Danzo frowned, but not out of pity. She was very disappointed in Sakura's weakness. That girl even was willing to join the force with Lightning just for the sake of her parents. That proved that the girl had no true loyalty to Konohagakure. There's more reason for her to kill her parents right here! He figured if he killed her parents, then she may or not joined them. But if he did not kill her parents, then she may or not joined them either. She was only loyal to her parents and that demon brat.
In other words, if she still had her love for Sasuke and if he would become missing-nin, she would have joined him anyways. He scowled when he thought of that. 'That bitch has no loyalty to Konoha!"
Lightning grinned darkly, "I'm so touched, but… it's too late!"
They did not listen. She tried so hard to beg Lightning and Danzo not to kill her parents. But they would not listen no matter what. Her parents did not deserve to be killed like that. If they would die right here, she would…
"P-Please… Please…" Sakura sniffed. "Mercy… Please… show them a… mercy. Spare them, please! Spare—"
Danzo finally made a decision. He moved the sharp point of the sword from Kizashi's back to the front chest. He stole a glance at her panicked eyes for a moment there. He hated her so much. He'd want to make her suffer to see her parents to die in a gruesome way before her very eyes.
He made an evil smirk. Then he swiftly shoved his sword through Kizashi's chest. A blood splattered all over her face, as she stared in shock at him. Once it shoved through Kizashi's chest, he jolted up from the shock, and became aware of his consciousness. The first and last thing he saw was his little daughter who was so horrified.
"Sa…kura…?" He muttered.
He could barely breathe, as he lost a lot of bloods right now. When the sword pulled out of his chest, he coughed up the blood few times. He realized he was going to die, but he also realized that his daughter was standing there and watching him to die. He glanced at his right, and he saw his own wife who was still under the influence. At that moment, he just realized that Sakura was going to watch both of them to die here.
He tried to reach her with his hand, but it was little too far. Tears clouded his vision, and he tried to cry out for his daughter. "S-Sakura… Don't… look…"
Danzo stabbed him in the opposite chest, as more bloods just came out of Kizashi's mouth. Next, he gutted him, just like that. A pound of blood fell down on the floor, and more bloods came their way.
Stab! Stab! Stab! Stab! Stab!
Danzo just stabbed him all over and over again across his whole body. Blood splattered every time he stabbed him. He'd stabbed him all over and over again until Kizashi stopped reacting to him being stabbed. His arms were let down, and it no longer moved. His eyes would still open, but they were not moving at all. Their eyes looked like they were dead. He was definitely dead in a gruesome way, the one that Sakura would never forget.
Since Kizashi was dead, there was no point to keep stabbing him. He kicked Kizashi's corpse away to the ground with his dead eyes staring into her eyes, and his mouth left opened, with blood running down from the mouth.
Sakura cried, "D-Daaaaaad!" It was so horrible! Being slaughtered like that in front of her eyes. What kind of cruel was that Danzo guy? He just killed him in a gruesome death. She dropped to her knees, trembling with a tear out of her eyes. Because he was killed by Danzo, there's no way to bring him back to life since Danzo was never one of Coola's men.
Hinata stirred, but she was still unable to break free of Lightning's paralysis technique. 'Damn! I can't save them…. Again!' She was so furious. At Lightning… and herself for allowing that to happen! She never thought that it would happen like that. She thought it would be a simple and easy mission. It should have been a mission where they would easily bring Danzo to a justice, but it did not go the way they expected!
If only… that bastard from the future never came. What that bastard just did was too cruel! He acted like it was no big to kill someone in front of Sakura. What was his deal?! What really happened in the future, if he's really from the future?!
'He's crazy! That's why!' thought Hinata. She was so furious at herself for allowing to be trapped by a paralysis technique. His technique was too powerful. She could not get out of it at all! All she could do was to stare in horror at Sakura's Mom's execution sooner.
"One painful, slow death; one quick, clean death." Lightning smiled, almost as if it was okay to kill them. He acted like it was a normal. He acted like there's no problem with him taking someone's lives away.
That crazy bastard!
Hinata shut her eyes down. 'Damn! I can't move. Sorry, Sakura-san. I can't save them…' She opened her eyes, and watched, waiting to see Sakura's Mom's execution.
After the death of Kizashi with a multiple stab to the body, Danzo proceeded to Mebuki and stood by her side. She was completely unaware of her own body, and did not know what the event just occurred right here. All she did was to stay on her knees, staring at Sakura with a blank expression.
Sakura looked at her and trembled with fear. She… was going to lose her Mom, too. "M-Mom… Mom… S-S-Stop…"
Danzo gripped the hilt of the sword very good and placed the edge of the sword on her back neck to double check if it would strength his aim at her back neck before lifting it, but before he could swing, he glanced at Sakura one more time. He loved to see the fear that etched on her face. He was gladly to traumatize Sakura for the rest of her life. He was going to change her. He was going to make her think twice about hurting him at least. He made sure of that.
"S-Stop…" Her voice wavered. 'Mom is going to die. She's going to die! She's going to die!' The echo repeated in her head, as she was shaking in her entire body.
He began to swing the sword down in an arc towards Mebuki's back neck.
"Stop…Stop…STOP!" Sakura kept crying out, but it fell on deaf ears. She shook her head, as tears flew off her face. Either Danzo or Lightning did not listen to her, or her voice was not enough to reach them. "Stop—" Her cry halted, as she was frozen in shock.
Danzo just beheaded her. He already swung the sword at her and cut her head off, as it flew off from her shoulder and blood spluttered, staining on his sword and his clothes, as well on his face.
Mebuki's face looked like what might had been a massive shock, due to the separation between her shoulders and her head. While having her head flying off in the sky, at her final moment in the living world, her eyes moved downward and noticed her daughter staring back at her who was still in shock. But just after that, her eyes stopped. No more shaking in her eyes.
Sakura knew what she just saw. In her Mother's eyes, they moved at that moment, and then it stopped. She realized that even when their head would be removed, they would have a moment of life, like 15 seconds or something. Little did she know, from on now, that moment would haunt her for very long times.
Forest, Land of Fire- Fayre vs Tobi
Fayre could not believe what he just heard from Tobi's story.
Because of Tobi's accomplishment, following the Kyuubi's attack on Konoha, Konoha Council began to suspect that an Uchiha was behind the attack due to the Sharingan's ability to control the Kyuubi. Because of that, the Uchiha were placed under close surveillance and were forced to live in a corner of the village. This mistrust and isolation from the rest of the village created feelings of ill-will amongst the Uchiha, and ultimately rekindled the hatred towards the Senju-influenced government. As such, the Uchiha, led by Uchiha Fugaku, began planning a coup d'état to overthrow the Konoha leadership.
The Uchiha decided to insert Uchiha Itachi, who was the member within Konoha's command structure, to act as spies, to place in the ANBU, the direct arm of the Hokage, but Itachi did not agree with their plan, because he believed that the coup would only escalate into another Shinobi World War. As such, he turned double-agent, providing Konoha with information on the Uchiha's plans. Sandaime Hokage, who had not agreed with the treatment of the Uchiha following the Kyuubi's attack, tried to find a peaceful resolution with the clan. However, Shimura Danzo did not believe negotiations would solve anything and felt eliminating all the Uchiha would cause the least bloodshed.
The Uchiha began to suspect Itachi because of his strange behavior, so they decided to put Uchiha Shisui to keep an eye on him. Since Shisui was Itachi's close friend, he shared his opposition to the coup. When peace talks started to break down, Shisui attempted to use his Mangekyo Sharingan's Kotoamatsukami to force the Uchiha's leaders to change their minds. Danzo felt this was a waste of Kotoamatsukam's rare usage and took Shisui's right eye for himself before Shisui had a chance to use it. Since Shisui failed to do so, he feared that Danzo would take his other eye, too, so he entrusted his left eye to Itachi before committing suicide. The Uchiha found his body and already suspected that Itachi was the one who murdered Shisui. They also believed that the suicide was staged, and as such, they no longer trusted Itachi.
Despite all that, Itachi wanted to find a non-violent solution, Shisui's death convinced Itachi that events could no longer be stopped. He became outwardly critical of the clan's actions and hostile towards individual members. Danzo was aware of Itachi's conflicted feelings, so he explained the two possible outcomes:
The Uchiha could be allowed to carry out their coup, an act that would ultimately lead to the entire clan's extermination, including Itachi and his brother, Uchiha Sasuke.
Itachi could assassinate the Uchiha before the coup took place, and in exchange would be allowed to spare Sasuke's life.
Itachi chose his second option instead. But before he could carry out the massacre, he found Tobi sneaking around the village. Believing he was Uchiha Madara bent on destroying Konoha, he offered to help him take revenge against the Uchiha for betraying him decades earlier if he would spare the village, Tobi agreed.
During that night, Itachi and Tobi slaughtered the entire Uchiha clan. Itachi came to face his parents, but he hesitated to carry out. But his parents respected his decision to side with the village over the clan, and asked only that he look after Sasuke. He tearfully killed them just before Sasuke returned home from the Academy.
No matter what he thought his actions were necessary, he could not forgive himself for killing his own family and believed he had to be punished. His punishment was to have Sasuke to kill him. By doing that, he made Sasuke believed that he had killed their clan without provocation and for selfish pursuits of power. In order to make sure that Sasuke would bear the hatred towards him, he used Tsukuyomi to torment Sasuke with images of the clan's murder and claimed that Sasuke was too weark to even bother killing. He even encouraged him to get stronger and to come after him to avenge their family.
As Itachi left, Sasuke made an immediate attempt to follow Itachi's instructions; awakening his Sharingan for the first time, he pursued him and attacked him, managing to knock off his forehead protector. Itachi wept from Sasuke's action, but continued on after collecting his forehead protector. Sasuke passed out from the traumas of the night.
Sandaime Hokage promised to Itachi that he would cover up the story that Itachi had acted along and without cause so nobody would learn of Uchiha's plans and also so that Konoha would not be tarnished for its involvement. More importantly, the Sandaime Hokage vowed to protect Sasuke safe from Danzo.
After the massacre of Uchiha, Itachi then left the village, joining Tobi's organization, Akatsuki, in order to reinforce his image as a criminal. In actuality, he monitored Akatsuki from the inside, keeping Konoha informed of its actions and preventing the organization from moving against the village.
Despite all the story being told by Tobi, Fayre could not bring himself to hate the Konoha. If there was one thing Obito taught him, then that he should never hate the Konoha, and that he should love the Konoha no matter what. He realized that he blindly hated Itachi for slaughtering the whole clan. Now he finally understood the reason why Itachi chose that action. It was done to protect the Konoha and his own brother.
He understood Itachi's action because he had done the same thing. He left the planet to protect the Element from Coola.
'Danzo!' Fayre clenched his fists and bared his teeth. He knew that Danzo was not to be trusted. He'd never forgive Danzo for forcing Itachi to do that. He had the similar problem since his encounter against him.
Flashback Began- Age 748, October 10- Konohagakure
In the huge forest, Fayre was carrying the backpack and about to leave the Konoha for good. After his best friend was caught in an explosion, he encountered the masked man who was responsible for the attack of the Kyuubi that unleashed upon the Konohagakure. Of course, he unlocked the Mangeyko Sharingan for very first time. He did not know how it unlocked, but he assumed if his best friend or loved one died in front of him, he would unlock the Mangekyo Sharingan. After the disappearance of the masked man, he also encountered Coola who claimed to be an alien, and that he could destroy this planet if he wanted to. For the sake of Konohagakure, and for the sake of planet Element, he had to fake his death to trick Kakashi and others, so he could not be labeled as missing-nin and left the planet to protect his home world.
He had to come back to his home to gather and pack what he needed before he could leave. But before he could leave, he encountered Itachi who saw him who was about to leave the Konoha. He told him to take care of Uchiha and Sasuke as well before he left.
But his departure was interrupted by an unexpected attacker. The attacker lunged towards him, which forced him to dodge and leapt back away from him. He took a good check on his attacker's face.
He gasped, "You're…"
His attacker took an appearance as a frail, old man, who would walk with a cane. He had black, shaggy hair, and his right eye was bandaged. He had an x-shaped scar on his chin. He wore a white shirt, with a black robe over the top of it covering from his feet, to just over his right shoulder.
"D-Danzo…!" Fayre hissed. He would never forget his face since he first met him when he was 7 years old, as Orochimaru's apprentice. Indeed, Orochimaru took him as an apprentice two years ago, but unfortunately, it did not last longer since Minato becoming Hokage. Sometimes before Minato became Hokage, Orochimaru would become missing-nin. Nevertheless, he hated that snake bastard, too.
"From the brat genin to Orochimaru's apprentice to Dual-Wielder to now soon-to-be missing ninja, huh?" Danzo would glare him with his infamous stern eyes. He was not too happy about that.
"Danzo!" Fayre just stood there very firmly, and was going to prepare for anything that Danzo might would throw at him. "What're you doing here?!"
"You've faked your death too well. To think you'd pull yourself to force Kakashi to kill you in order to traumatize him further. Now with the Hokage dead, Sandaime Hokage made his decision to return as the Hokage for the time being, but while he's alive, the demon was not killed, but also had been reborn into newborn brat. Had Sandaime Hokage not chosen to return as the Hokage, I would have been made an excellent Hokage. If I was a Hokage, I would have used the demon brat as Konoha's weapon, I would have an entire Uchiha slaughtered, and I would have declared you a missing-nin, as seeing that you've faked your death, and used it as an intention to leave the Konoha without being labeled as a missing-nin. Did you think I'd let you flee the planet?"
"You bastard! It would be disastrous if you'd become one!" Fayre raised and clenched his fist, growling. "How do you know about him?!"
"I followed you," that was all Danzo could reply.
Fayre was shocked at first, but then he realized if he was followed, then Danzo must have known about that conversation. He began to relax his body, as he looked at Danzo with a serious expression. "You followed me?! Have you seen his face, and did you hear what he said? What do you have to say about that?"
Danzo scoffed, although remained a stoic on his face. "You are a fool to believe the word of his lies."
"What?!"
Danzo closed his eyes, as he was shaking his head. "Capable of destroying the planet?" He slowly reopened his eyes, glaring at him the first thing he reopened it. "Nonsense! There's no such as power that could possibly destroys the planet! You are hypocrite! You, of all people, should notice his deceit with the possession of your Sharingan!"
Fayre looked him in disbelief. He had seen what Coola did. He just witnessed that Coola just demonstrated him by destroying the large boulder with a mere energy sphere! "You're the one who is hypocrite! Are you capable of being ignorant even that you're unable to see what he had done?! Even a small piece of energy sphere is capable of destroying the large boulder. Not even a high level ninja or kage is capable of destroying the large boulder with a small piece of chakra!"
"No matter… The less Uchiha, the better." Danzo looked like he was in need for the power, but he could not refrain himself now, as he detached his cane, revealing the katana before charging towards him. "I'll have your Sharingan!"
Fayre just stood there, shaking his body in shock, as he was unable to move. He would just watch as Danzo came in closer to him, while he made an attempt to reach into his right eye, which already activated the Sharngain long ago. In which he succeeded into reaching his right eye, as he began to grab it away.
"Sharingan is mine!" Danzo gloated, as Fayre's right eye began to leak the blood. But it was too soon to celebrate. Just right before he could fully remove the Sharingan eye, Fayre disappeared out of blur. "What?!"
"You…!" A familiar voice from the behind. Danzo widened his eyes, as he looked behind him. It was Fayre who clutched his right eye, in which it ran the blood. Luckily he still had his right eye intact. "H-H-How dare you…! You're not getting away with this!"
Danzo turned around, looking surprised, but it was only for a moment before his expression turned into a blank again. "So fast… But not faster enough!"
As soon as he finished his sentence, he disappeared, much to Fayre's chagrin. Despite his Sharingan being activated, he was unable to detect Danzo's speed movements.
Danzo just appeared in front of Fayre to startle him and simply smirked at him.
However, for some reason, Fayre was so horrified, as his face became a pale. He was shaking with his entire body. He even coughed up the blood, but he did not know why. He slowly widened his eyes, as he finally realized it. He slowly looked down, and his face became paler, as he had seen it and the reason why he coughed up the blood. The katana in Danzo had already shoved through his chest, ended up wounding him. After he had seen the katana through his chest, his cough just got worse, as the blood became thicker.
'Impossible! How did I allow him to kill me? How am I not able to see his movement with my Sharingan? Is there a person that is truly faster than I am, besides Yondaime Hokage?' His thought derailed, as he began to cough more bloods, but more rapidly. 'Shit! I'm going to die! He… He shoved the sword through the vital in my chest. There's no way I am going to survive!'
His pale face looked up at Danzo, who returned his gaze with an evil smirk. He coughed up the blood one more, as it spat upon Danzo's robe. His stare remained on the face of his enemy, but darkness began to catch up to him.
His eyes blurred, as if he saw double Danzo before his eyes. Two Danzos would go back and forth to each other, but in reality, it was only one. That's because his eyes were too blur. The gap between the darkness from his eyes started to close onto him.
But before darkness effulged his vision fully, he could see that Danzo's hand was reaching into his value Sharingan eye once again. Then he blacked out.
Flashback Ended
That day Fayre should have died there. Because he had no idea how he could have survived the sword right into his chest, or how he could possibly be in Coola's spaceship without him knowing. What's more, he never learned how his Sharingan eyes could be still intact. At first, he thought it was Coola who came to his rescue, but he figured it wasn't him. Even now, he never learned anything in questionable of how he was still alive.
Nonetheless, he hated Danzo since that day. He had always blamed Itachi for purging all the Uchiha. He had been blaming the wrong man. Now he just realized that it was Danzo who was responsible for the massacre of the Uchiha clan. It was not Itachi whole times. It was Danzo who forced Itachi to choose one of choices.
"For those who have generated so much hatred and vengeance, it will only lead you to your death one day." Itachi's quote just recalled in Fayre's head.
'Damn him! He may be right.' Fayre gritted his teeth, as he was very deep in thought. 'Was I blinded by my hatred? Have I caused the harsh consequence that I'd have to face sooner or later? Even though I did not kill Itachi, but for some reason, I feel regretful. Why am I regretting? I should regret nothing, and carry out my vengeance! But what if Kakashi did not kill him? That Obito was actually crushed by the boulder and bestowed Kakashi a present? This is truly most revelation I have heard, and this is coming from an enemy! Itachi, of all people, is forced to carry out his mission to protect his little brother, and I held my grudge against him for purging all the Uchiha clan. Am I regretting or just that I'm so afraid that I might learn more truth in future? Like I'm half-Saiyan, and Itachi was forced to slaughter all Uchiha clan? What if Kakashi never killed Obito-niisan and that he's still actually alive, somehow behind the mask right before me?!'
Realization suddenly came to his head, as he shook his head, trying to get rid of unnecessary thought that echoed into his head. 'No! Obito-niisan is dead. Killed by Kakashi in order to obtain a Sharingan eye. That will remain a trivia for a while until I have discovered more truth.'
He would look through the mask hole in Tobi's right Sharingan eye very carefully. He would analyze what kind of Sharingan Tobi possessed. Although, that Sharingan eye was very familiar to him. 'Who is he? For some reason, I feel like I have seen that Sharingan before. Why do I feel a cold air that breezed through me, even though there is a warm temperature right here? I feel like I actually know him! Why?! Why do I have this feeling that I've met him unmasked somewhere before?'
There had been a silence that filled the air between them since Tobi revealed the truth about the Uchiha clan massacre to him. But it was Tobi who finally broke the silence between them.
"As of now, there's only three Uchiha survivor right now. Sasuke… You… and… me…" Tobi began, still stood atop the branch above Fayre. "Before Itachi died, it was four Uchiha survivor. You must have been shocked when you learned the truth about the Uchiha clan massacre. But it's too late even to regret now. There's nothing you can do right now. There's only you can do is to wait for… your death!"
Then Tobi leapt down towards Fayre with an intention to kill. He pulled his leg up to lunge at his enemy, but Fayre evaded it by ducking his head to avoid the direct flying kick, as Tobi went past him to land on the ground.
While Tobi quickly stood up and turned around, Fayre immediately summoned his twin katana, as he also turned around as well.
Fayre swung one of his katana at Tobi, but of course, it just fazed right through him, almost as if he was a ghost. He cursed himself for forgetting the ability of his enemy. Nothing could touch him.
With the sword still swinging through Tobi, it still turned around into his chest, but as soon as it completely went out of his body, he hurriedly raised his hand to grab Fayre's wrist to take a hold of him. Once he grasped the wrist tightly, that forced Fayre to drop the katana.
Fayre was baffled enough to see that Tobi was able to compete with him. He thought Tobi was just another coward who was afraid to be touched. But he was wrong. That masked bastard was a skilled at fighting.
He struggled to break free of Tobi's strong grasp whom refused to let it go. He would growl at him and begin to become enrage. To think he'd have to fight all three opponents in the same hour or two! In fact, he had no idea how long the battle in total had lasted. When he started the fight against Deidara, it was barely dawn. Now, it seemed like the sunrise was finished few minutes ago. That was indeed very long battle.
Once one more again, he would take another glance his eye through the hole in the mask, over-analyzing the form of the Sharingan carefully. Suddenly, white flash just tapped into his head, as if he was spacing into the white background, as he was frozen and opened his mouth wide in a speechless.
'That's…' For sure, he definitely had seen that form of the Sharingan somewhere before. Even though all standard Sharingan looked alike, he'd still recognize that Sharingan regardless. 'That looks like Kakashi's eye! But he only possesses the Sharingan on his left eye. Instead, there's a Sharingan on his right eye.'
He suddenly left his mouth even wider, as he was dripped with sweating, almost as if he either was struck by lightning, or he had seen a ghost. 'No way! The mask reveals only one eye, and that's his right eye, but not his left eye. There's no hole in his left, but there's a hole in his right. Obito-niisan's left eye was 'given' to Kakashi for the possession of the Sharingan. Kakashi: Left, Tobi: Right… No…Way!'
"What's wrong, Fayre? You certainly look like you've seen a ghost." Obito said, still grasping on Fayre's right wrist. He wondered why this guy was in shock, and seemed like he was unable to move on and attack him head-on right now. Even he allowed his left hand to remain free. He was just waiting for him to use that opportunity to strike back, but that was all Fayre could do was to gawk at him. 'Is he figuring out who I am?'
Fayre's pupils started to shake rapidly, this time, almost as if he indeed was struck by lightning. 'NO WAAAAY! THAT VOICE! No way… He's Obito-niisan! But how?! I thought he was dead! Is he the same man who attacked Konohagakure 15 years ago?! But just how is he still alive? Was he supposed to die during the war 16 years ago? No… No… I can't believe it. Here I'm fighting my own brother in front of me! NO! NO! NO! He's not Obito-niisan! I refused to believe he's the older brother I always idol! He must be someone else who stole another one of Obito's eye!"
"I'm going to bring you with me! In my dimension!" Tobi announced.
"Your dimension what?!" asked a perplexed Fayre. Suddenly, the vortex whooshed in between Tobi and Fayre, which gave the little brother a startle. Then, they both were sucked into the vortex, as it warped away. They miraculously disappeared out of this world without a trace. It was almost as if they don't exist in this world anymore.
Tobi's Dimension
The vortex reappeared in the middle of nowhere, as Fayre fell face-first on some kind of dark concrete, and Tobi easily landed on the ground, apparently he used to warp between dimensions.
"Ouch!" Fayre pushed up with his knees on the ground, and clung to his face before looking up. But he was amazed by the newly location he had recently transported into. He was in a place where he never had seen in his whole life before. Indeed, he had been to many different planets, but not some place like this before!
This place was so full of differently sized rectangular prism amongst a dark and seemingly endless void. He was surprised to see that most of boxes that randomly arranged anywhere, even on the box they were standing on right now. He felt like he was riding in the spaceship that would soar through the endless of the outer space.
"Where am I?" asked a baffled Fayre.
"You're in my dimension." Tobi replied. "There's no way in or out except me, of course. In other words, you cannot escape unless I give a permission. Here is the place where we can go all-out with no disadvantage at our disposal. In other dimension, you're unable to even lay a hand on me, but here in this dimension, I'm no longer intangibility, and therefore; I'm a normal person."
Fayre pushed his foot off to get up on his both feet, and gave a soft chuckle. "That is your big mistake, don't you think? Having me here to fight you shall be your downfall. I mean, you're so full of confidence! Congratulation, you've signed your death warrant."
Tobi decided to laugh it out with him with a soft chuckle as well. "What you don't realize is that this is win-win situation for me."
"What?" Fayre was puzzled at first, but then he chuckled it off. "Win-win situation for you? I'm calling that a bluff. You're just trying to scare me by not killing you."
Without allowing Tobi to make another statement, Fayre saw the opening in the masked man, so he took a charge here first towards his opponent.
Tobi sighed because that man here was very impatient guy, but he knew that man was going to do anyways. He knew the moment Fayre discovered the advantage here in this dimension, that man would take an opportunity to come at him with the intention to kill, as soon as he learned it.
But before Fayre would make any more distance to run, he just disappeared right before his eye, in which caused Tobi to widen his eye in shock.
'Impossible! He disappears even with my advanced Sharingan activated! I can't see even a glimpse of his movement everywhere. He is so fast enough to make me think he somehow disappeared without a trace.' Tobi thought, moving his pupil around rapidly to ensure that he would not be ambushed like that. 'No, I need to think it over and concentrate into finding him with my Sharingan eye. Nothing is faster than my Sharingan! Now where is he?'
The longer he concentrated with his eye alone, the easier he got to see Fayre in a super-speed movement, even though he barely could see him. Sometimes, he would become a clear, but then, he went back to blur.
But he knew Fayre never disappeared, it was just that he was moving too fast enough to deceive his eye. But right now, he wouldn't be able to deceive, especially with the Sharingan he currently used it now. Sometimes, he would spot him, but it was still not enough to catch him with his eye. But it's getting better now.
He was able to spot Fayre more frequently, but he knew he was not faster enough to stop him, so all he could do was for him to come closer to him, so he could stop him that way.
After a moment, he was finally able to spot all of his speed movements without having him to disappear at a short moment. Indeed, what he saw was that Fayre constantly moved around him at tremendous amount of speed.
At last, Tobi already prepared his left fist that Fayre was completely unware of. Once Fayre appeared by him with the few inches of Tobi's shoulder in an attempt to catch him by a surprise by a simple fist, but instead, he received a surprise punch to the right cheek of his face by the masked man. After the punch to the face, he was sent knocking away which just happened to across outside the box.
Fortunately, he was not going to fall, as his body just fell against another box. After he fell against the box, he could have fallen down through the endless void forever, but he hung onto the edge of the box, as it floated up away from the box that Tobi stood on right now.
Strangely, Fayre was not mad about that. He just smirked down at the masked man who glared through the hole in his mask at him. 'Heh… For someone who seems like he's untouchable in our dimension, he is so amazing! He has some awesome skills there. He even stopped me when I'm at high speed. This is going to be tough match for me. But first, I must unmask him before I kill him. I have to be certain of a proof that he isn't Obito.'
He swung around, as he jumped and spun to land on the box that began to float down towards Tobi's box slowly. He stared down at his opponent with his arms crossed over his chest. 'He can't be Obito-nissan. There's no way he can be Obito-nissan. Because my brother would never have the intention of killing me. He is too good boy to kill me.'
"Fayre…" Tobi's box then levitated up until it was on the same height as Fayre's box. "You don't understand what I mean. The thing is, you see, if you kill me here, it becomes very impossible for you to leave this place. Because I'm only one that can get us in and out. If I kill you, you will die and I'm still able to freely get out and in anytime I want to. That's why it's win-win situation for me."
Fayre scowled. "So that's why you brought me to fight you? If you die, I can't leave this place forever. I probably would die of famine. If I die, there's no issue for you at hand, huh? Then I suppose I have to force you to return us to our dimension, is that right?"
"Even so, none of us will return to our dimension until one of us dies, but it is so unfortunate for you if you were to kill me."
Fayre let go of his arms, as he raised his arms to take into the stance, and scoffed. "Torture is my specialty. I'll make sure you will writhe in agony, and you will beg me to stop torturing you, but of course, I will refuse to do so, until you bring us back to our dimension. On other hand, your being here is the best thing that could have happened to me. Unmasking you should be such an easy task!"
Both boxes randomly arranged around, as they were separated further from each other, while boxes were also arranged in between them. Like six boxes away from each other.
"Like I said earlier, you should not underestimate me. After all, underestimation is one of your weakness, Fayre."
"Shut up! Don't speak as if you've known me all your life!" Fayre yelled out at his enemy. He never liked being provoked by any of his enemy. But he knew that Tobi was right. He had underestimated every opponent until now. Every time he underestimated his opponents, he got his ass kicked and put to near-death every single time. His scowl turned into a smirk again. "You know what? I'm tired of our constant nonsense talking, so how about we fight until either of us dies? But of course, I'll make sure that you get us out of this dimension. No talking. Just all action-packed fighting. What do you think?"
"For once, I'll have to agree with you on this one." Tobi responded. Shortly after, both were very quiet, as they were having some typically before-fight-being staring contest.
Danzo's ROOT Base- With Sakura and Hinata
Lightning would snicker at the sight of Sakura's parents' brutal execution. Danzo had no qualms about killing them in horrible way, only because he wanted to break Sakura down for what she did to him few days ago. At least he was already satisfied by brutal killing her parents in front of her. By the looks of it, she seemed like she was already breakdown. She would just be frozen in place on her knees, being shell shocked at the death of her parents and all.
All she could was to stare the death eyes of her parents. Their eyes were unmovable, still as same as ever since their death. Dead people don't move. They would be still the last they were dead, unless being carried by someone else. But they died anyways, so they could not move anymore.
Now knowing that she just lost her chance to prevent her parents from being killed by the people that aren't Coola or his men. There's nothing she could do to bring them back to life.
But…
Her parents were dead now. Dead. Killed. Dead. Killed. Dead. Killed. Right now, that was all it echoed into her head.
Dead. Killed. Dead. Killed. Dead. Killed…
She tried so hard to stop the echo in her head, but she could not handle them anymore. The flashback of Danzo brutal executing them in front of her, but it turned out that she could not handle the constant flashback of this episode.
She clutched her head and curled up into herself, as she leaned her forehead against the floor. Her tears swollen, and she screamed, almost as if she was in agony already right now.
Hinata was still on the floor, paralyzing. She concerned more about Sakura's mental breakdown. "Sakura..." No matter how much she struggled, she was still unable to break free of Lightning's paralysis technique. "Dammit! Damn it to hell!"
"Sorry, Sakura-chan," Lightning smiled, as if he was really enjoying the brutal execution of her parents. "But it has to be done that way, or you probably won't join us. But as I thought, your mind-willed is too weak. I'm sure after you've witnessed the death of your parents in very unsightly way, you will join me when times will come."
Dead. Killed. Danzo. Kill. Kill. Kill. Danzo. KILL! KILL! KILL!
Sakura cringed. She could not seem to get rid of the echo that she had been heard since she saw Danzo slaughtering them like they were a mere tool! The echo would keep telling her to kill Danzo… to avenge her parents.
Lightning then walked towards Sakura and then kneeled next to her. He then began to whisper into her ear so Hinata could not hear his words. "A cherry blossom is a pink, but when something so tragic happens to them, they turned into a bloody red. What do you call it?"
Lightning knew she could not respond to that. It was only a natural only after you've witnessed most gruesome death of your parents, you would be in massive shock. Eventually, she would come around soon anyways.
He did what he had to do. He came to get the job done, and his mission accomplished! He sent Shadow to draw the blood out of Sakura into the piece of vial, and Danzo was to kill his parents in most horrible way to die in front of her eyes. But only one left is for her to decide whether she should join him or not. He couldn't be more than proud of himself for his action today.
He stood up, turned around, and walked away while waving good-bye to Sakura. "Until we meet again…"
But not before he left them, he stopped by Danzo and said something to him very quietly. "If you kill her, I will personally kill you and I will make sure you won't be revived forever! Don't kill Sakura, but I don't care about Hinata. Do what you want with her." He gave Danzo a brief glare before walking away once again.
Danzo would mutter to himself, while secretly glaring at his back. "Damn him!"
Lightning was not planning to keep Hinata paralyzed forever, so he merely snapped his fingers. He just walked past Shadow. "Let's go, Shadow. We're leaving."
Shadow nodded and came along with Lightning, "Aye, Lightnin'-sama." He had a bad habit of calling -sama to Lightning, but of course, Lightning would roll his eyes over at that name. But it did not matter anymore. He could not careless anymore. Who'd give a damn about the name? Lightning was not even his real name in first place. It's just a name that he came up with, so that way he could be acknowledge, after all.
Hinata was finally free, as she stood up, glaring at them. "As if I'd let you leave!" She immediately charged towards them, but before she could make a contact with them, they just disappeared… out of shadow thingy. She halted her running and looked around with a surprise. "What? They disappeared like that?"
But then, she realized that she could not take them on, as they were too strong for her to take on. It was possible that Lightning was way stronger than Coola at this point. She shuddered to think that someone could be stronger than Lightning out in the universe. Were there no limits to power after all?
But little did she know, there was going to be big drama that would ensue soon in this very place. She turned around and noticed that Danzo already stood next to Sakura who still clutched her head on the floor.
She glared at Danzo's back, as she clenched her fists, and her chest began to boil up with the heat. 'Damn him! How could he?! He really enjoyed slaughtering them like they're some animals! What more could he want from us? Isn't his goal becoming a Hokage not enough? Why does he continue to pester us for his selfish desire? By just looking at him sickens me to extent! And Lightning… Who is that bastard?! He paralyzed me with ease. Why did he want Sakura's blood? And why did he want Sakura to join his side?'
While Hinata was too preoccupied with her mind, Danzo stood over Sakura and shot down a glare at her. He did not like even a bit of Sakura. She was always the cause of his problem. While he wanted to get rid of her, he was so terrified of Lightning.
That time when he fled from Sakura's wrath after discovering that her parents were 'murdered', he would soon encountered Lightning who saved her parents and had faked their death by threatening Danzo not to kill her. Then he proceeded to make sure that Danzo would brutal slaughter them in some gruesome way in front of Sakura. That was not Danzo's things. He preferred to have his men to kill someone discreetly.
But what's done is done anyways. At least, Sakura had learned her lesson, but he was not at her being shell-shocked and literally would not satisfy him. In order to make him satisfy enough, so it would be best time to instigate her up.
"A vixen of the Kyuubi brat kneels and tremble before me. Why does someone like Lightning would want you? Do you think you're somewhat special for him? What does he see in you that I cannot? I could have killed you if it was up to me. But it seems that fortunate is on your side. When a kitsune seduced a vixen, he will just wait for his prey when the time comes right. When the time comes right, a kitsune loses his interest and decides to abandon you to hunt the other woman for his next prey. But to do so, a kitsune must kill a vixen before he can move on to find the other woman. In other words, Naruto is the kitsune, and you're the vixen. In other words, when you're no longer interest to him, he will just kill you and move on to his next suitable partner of his own choice.
"But perhaps, sides will switch. When you've become accustomed to him, you will grow bored of him, and you will kill him. Then you will find your suitable relationship partner, and then the cycle will remain until you find the right one. But when any fox messes with wolf, they devour them. But if they cannot devour foxes, they devour their families. You see what happened here? You dig their grave when you chose to injure me. This is all on you."
Sakura gulped. She was still unable to speak up, but maybe, he was right. Was it all on her because she did something that she should not had done to Danzo. After all, she nearly broke his damn wrist. She lost control of her temper over a tiny thing like when she learned that Naruto was thrown to a jail underground ordered by Danzo, and that Danzo attempted to overthrow the Hokage-sama, and that he already declared Naruto as an S-ranked missing-nin.
Flashback Began- When Sakura's Earthlings arrived for the first time- Hokage's Mansion
Danzo glared down at Gohan and spat. "Naruto is the host of the Kyuubi. He's a dangerous ninja. You fools know nothing about him. If he ever gets out of his control, he will kill you. He's now a missing-nin and considered deadly. He may be your friend, but he's nothing but a demon-brat who's waiting for his prey! His execution should have happened two weeks ago!"
"SHUT UP!" Gohan yelled, "He's not a bad person! He's our friend! He's like my older brother! Don't you dare talk anything bad about him!" He clenched his fists firmly.
Danzo snorted, "Brother, eh? He manipulated you in order to use you guys as his prey."
"You're wrong!" remarked Gohan.
"Listen, brat! I would recommend you to avoid him. Because if you don't, he will hurt you." Danzo insisted. He raised his hand, and was going to ruffle Gohan's hair, but Sakura suddenly appeared between them, and strangled Danzo's wrist. He cringed and sunk to his knees, struggling to break free of her that was twisting his wrist.
She glared down at him. "If you ever touch my boyfriend or threaten him, I'll kill you!" Her killing intent was too powerful enough to make him trembling before her.
Danzo muttered angrily, "Damn useless bitch!"
That did not go unheard by her, as she started to crush his hands slow and painful enough to make him groan in pain. "Oh, and one more thing… I'm not a useless bitch. I could kill you with a finger if I wanted to."
A hand was gently placed on Sakura's shoulder, and she looked up, which it turned to be Kakashi. "That's enough. Let him go."
Sakura realized she had completely lost her temper, and immediately released Danzo's hand. She never thought she would completely lose control of herself, and threaten someone. That was unlike of her to do that. Perhaps, she had a hard time since she came back to Element with her team—no, since Naruto was taken away from her for three weeks. She assumed it was hard to live without Naruto for a while. She needed him soon, at least.
Nonetheless, she still hated Danzo, for what he had done to Naruto. He took him away to prison. Now since Naruto escaped from the prison, he took it too serious, taking it to a whole different level.
Danzo walked past her, pausing near the door. He glared over his shoulder at her. "Sakura… You'll regret doing this to me soon." He walked out of the room.
Sakura scowled, "I regret doing this to him for what? Why should I regret that? He's the biggest douchebag I've ever met! Probably worse than Vegeta!"
Flashback Ended
Should Sakura regret for doing this to him? Because of her actions, she had to face her harsh consequence that her parents were killed by Danzo. But the whole time she thought her parents were dead before then. Maybe that was not the reason why her parents were dead.
"To make it worse, even after you thought they supposedly were dead, you lashed out at me with all your mighty rage. You did not even give in a consideration that maybe it was a mere test. A test to see whether or not you'll stop continuing to defy me. Despite the fact that because of your actions which led me to fake their death, on the order of Lightning, which also led you to believe that they died, after all this, you were still willing to defy me and in process to do so, you humiliated me and nearly killed me with your damn kunai where you stabbed the ground near the inch of my face!
"But even though you greatly humiliated me in front of them in the office, I still spared your parents for the sake of your little test, to see if you would give up on your little rebellious against me, because few days later, I would have become the Hokage, the dream I always wanted to achieve, so that way, you have to be abide by the rule not to be able to kill the Hokage. But even though, I would be soon to become the Hokage and executed Tsunade, but you committed a huge crime in which you interrupted the execution of Godaime Hokage and my trail to become the Hokage.
"Perhaps you never realized it, but once I would become the Hokage, I would have released your parents from my custody. But when you committed a huge crime, that was the last straw. It was all thanks to you, knowing that I'll never be able to become the Hokage. I really wanted to kill your parents in a painless death, but Lightning was the one who demanded me to kill them in very unsightly way in front of you, where you would never forget.
"But by just looking at you, it looks like you just hit the rock bottom. In fact, I am really enjoying the look on your face when I put them away. As of now, you should realize what the word just come of your mouth, or you should be careful who you're speaking to. You may never know when you may face the harsh consequence. In conclusion, the death of your parents is the consequence you have to face forever. That's a reality.
"Lightning specifically instructed me not to kill you under any circumstance. However, suffice to say, I'm not satisfied, not when the fact that you remain alive on this planet. Therefore, I'll personally see you dead myself!"
He proceeded to lift his very sharp sword over his head, in which he would be prepare to remove Sakura's head from her head. No words may come out of his mouth, as he glared down at her in silence. Nuisance would disappear from this world when Sakura's dead, or at least what he expected.
Upon realizing that Sakura may or may not be aware of Danzo's further action, Hinata gasped and cried, "Sakura-san!" She could not stand any longer, not as long as she was in this condition. She rushed towards Danzo.
Actually, Sakura was well aware of Danzo's action right now. But she no longer cared of what would happen to everyone or her, even her own planet. She was deeply upset the fact that she had to witness her parents' most horrify death ever. She saw something which cannot be unseen. She wished to wipe off the memory of her parents' horrible death. That's why she did not do anything when Danzo was about to execute her. She had given up right now. She was going to join her parents in afterlife. She did not plan to go back to life even if she would be revived with Dragon Balls. She could always turn down Shen Long's request. She wished to remain with her parents forever.
'Goodbye, Bulma, Kuririn, Gohan-kun…' Sakura's tears continued to water all over her face that she had shed from her eyes. 'Goodbye, Shikamaru, Choji, Ino-pig, Lee, Neji, Tenten, Kiba, Shino…'
"Sakura-san!" A scream of Hinata could be heard who hurriedly approached them.
'Sorry… Goodbye, Hinata-sama... Kakashi-sensei…Sasuke… and… Naruto-kun... I won't be seeing you anymore.' She would expect to join her parents very soon once the katana would cut her head down.
Finally, Danzo hastily swung down, in which the edge of the sword would have come through her neck very soon.
Despite the plead scream from Hinata, Sakura still refused to move, as she still await her death. Knowing that it would be so scary for her to experience the removal of her head from her shoulders, she would shut her eyes down, with the tears still running down on her cheeks.
"Sakura-san!" cried Hinata. She could not make it in a time. She would try to reach out at Sakura with her hand. If something happened to Sakura, she would make sure to make Danzo pay for it, even if she would not carry the mission on the order of Hokage-sama. Sakura-san was only good friend she had in her whole life. She could not bear to see her good friend dead right here.
Just then, katana would still swing down, but its approach would become closer and closer to its destination. Finally, it reached down at the inch of Sakura's back neck, as it would expect to taint the blood of Sakura on the edge of the sword very soon.
"SAAAAAAAKKKKKKURRRRRRRA!" screamed Hinata.
Hokage's Office- With Gohan and Others
It became disaster tragedy for the Hokage in this room. Shizune had fallen to the victim of their enemy. By a mere touch of that frog bastard! That frog man just scorched her, almost as if he just cooked her up. What kind of technique was that?! Shizune was her dear apprentice since she took her as her apprentice. Now poor Shizune had died in most horrible death. No one would have wanted to be cooked to death, after all!
But this frog bastard! Just what he did to Shizune was a monster! She would still stand there with the chair fall to the floor, and shot Guure a death glare. Once again, she had allowed one of her friends to die, because of her, or at least what she believed that. Her little brother, her lover, and now her apprentice?!
Kuririn was, in fact, astounded. He was astounded to witness such a phenomenal technique that had a potential to kill an enemy without a problem. He was so terrified to experience the similar technique that was used against Shizune. He was so afraid to face the frog man right now. In fact, he did not even want to fight the frog man at all. He was speechless even to say anything right now!
"Oh, no! That's so horrible!" Gohan gasped for a second, but then, he started to become furious. Very soon, he would have lost control of himself. He had to control himself, or he would screw it up. He needed Sakura and Hinata to come back. But he knew he could not contain the anger after what the frog man did to Shizune. She was an innocent who did nothing wrong, yet she died without put up a fight. He bared his teeth and clenched his fists, also shaking his fists with the rage that started to boil inside his chest.
Fortunately, that did not go unnoticed by only and only one Kuririn. He whispered behind him. "You gotta calm down. You can't let your anger control you. We need to wait for Sakura and Hinata to come back."
"I know. But still…" Gohan whispered back, still shaking his fists with the boil inside his chest.
Sandaime Hokage knew he was too powerless to fight Coola and his men by himself. It would not be wise to rush to his death if he would pick up the fight against one of them. He would have to remain collected and calm, despite the fact that there were already few deaths here in Konohagakure so far since Coola and his men arrived.
Guure seemed like he was disappointed for some reason. He looked over at a very proud Frostian who stood in the center of the room. "Her memory contains no whereabouts of Naruto."
Coola was rather displeasure to learn such a news. "What?!"
"In the exchange of her memory for her life, there's so many doors that easily accessed and unlocked, but that's all doors I have opened, and none of them contains the whereabouts of Naruto. That would mean she never know where Naruto had gone to. Her last memory of him was thrown in the jail for being the missing-nin by an old man called Danzo, but because he was the container of the Kyuubi."
Paradox could not resist the temptation that was already given in to him. He burst up with the laughter, while folding his arms. "Are you sure you did not miss last one door? Even though you're an expert mind-reader, you're unable to find where Naruto currently is. But too bad, you've wasted your energy. Score that point for me!"
Guure had a sudden urge to scorch Paradox to death, but he managed to resist the temptation. "Shut up." He calmly told Paradox, as he continued on with his little story.
Paradox scoffed, and Coola paid no mind to their little banter, as he was willing to hear a little more of Guure's explanation.
"However, there's one door I have opened, but for some reason, there's nothing inside it but whole blank white. Every door should have contained memory for as long as they remembered. Usually, if they forgot a piece of memory, it would have either completely disappeared or relocated to the back of their brain, in which I cannot be accessed to. But that door is very unusual. It filled with nothing but a full of blank white."
"That means…" Coola finally realized. He did not need to finish the sentence, as Guure knew exactly what he meant.
Guure nodded. "At least one or more people have an ability to read mind, just as I have, may have wiped a certain memory off from that woman to prevent us from finding the whereabouts of Naruto. Pretty clever of them."
"Pretty clever of them, indeed." Coola said with an amused chuckle before returning his eyes at the Hokage. "Not only her that had the memory wiped, but also all of you guys, yes?"
Both Hokages scowled. Kuririn was still frightened, as he had no desire to fight them for now, but he knew he would have to fight them anytime soon. After all, tense between them just increased volume even further. The uproar of the fight may have begun anytime soon. After all, Gohan was still furious at Coola and his men for heartlessly slaying Shizune.
"Regretfully, that was the last moment of that woman's life. Such a waste for her life when she died for nothing. If you never allowed her certain memory to be wiped, all your life would have been spared. Or even better, if you have told me the current location of Naruto, that woman would have lived and all you would have been spared. But I suppose I'd have to do the hard way. Because her memory was wiped, I'm fairly certain that all of you wiped your own memory of his last location as well. But oh, well. Looks like it's going to be ugly for you and this place. I really like this planet, but it seems that you're so stubborn to realize that this is the result of it."
"What? What're you talking about?!" scowled Tsunade. She had no way to fight him with her strength. They were so mismatched, but she would try her best to stall them for a while. She prepared herself for them this time.
Coola replied with a proud smirk. "That one you certainly will not like. Guure will show you why you should not incur the wrath of Coola-sama!"
Guure nodded, as he fulfilled his obedience towards his boss. He lifted his head up and opened his mouth widely for a while. Kuririn, Gohan, Tsunade, and Hirzuen began to wonder what he's planning to do. They had no idea how that disastrous could become! Little did they know, it would turn into war so fast.
Coola smirked, and Paradox grinned.
Suddenly, Guure's aura showed up and increased the spike up, as he began to scream. At first, it was just a normal scream, which made them wonder why he screamed. But before they realized it, the pitch of his scream would increase and increase, and increased even more. His scream became higher and higher, which was enough to deafen them. Sooner or later, it became unusual scream.
Kuririn, Gohan, Tsunade, and Hirzuen were forced to cover their ears, which they could not handle the unusual super-high pitch of that scream.
Coola and Paradox did not need to cover their ears, as they knew how to completely mask the sound inside their ears. Now it seemed that Kuririn and others may have masked the Ki, but they could not mask the sound after all.
It had not reached the max.
It had gotten worse and worse.
In this moment, once the scream reached a little higher, a window suddenly shattered. But nothing was threatened at that moment.
Gohan just took a glance outside. Most people outside would look around in confusion and wondered where the sound came from. But a little seconds later, they started to cringe as they covered their ears, unable to move, due to unusual pitch of the sound.
Gohan realized that the scream may be very dangerous. If that scream traveled all the way to outside, and they were able to hear, and the fact that they covered their ears. It may be very dangerous. He needed to stop him, but because he was unable to move due to high scream, he could not stop Guure himself. It would mean that Sakura and Hinata probably heard him by now and unable to move.
Now the scream already broke the barrier of the sound, as it had begun to cause a small earthquake around this room. The table collapsed, papers scattered around, and the glass of a light on the ceiling just broke away and dropped to the ground. Fortunately, it just dropped on the top of Paradox's head, which did not harm him at all.
Paradox grinned like an idiot, but at the same time, he sweat dropped. 'It's so fun to watch them cringe, but c'mon… Let me have a fun, too!'
Guure's scream was like as if he turned up the volume slowly. Every time the volume increased, it had gotten worse. The floor just already become loosely. The floor may have collapsed anytime soon, and even worse, when the floor may collapse, it would fall on the top of other people, possibly killing them.
Gohan did not want that, but there was nothing he could do that. Every seconds Guure was screaming, the rage increased in Gohan.
It now reached the point where it would cause the shockwave. When his scream started to cause the shockwave, it pushed Gohan, Kuririn, Tsunade, and Hirzuen away a little, but they managed to stand firmly.
Guure would not stop screaming no matter what! There were no limits to his scream! His scream continued to get higher and higher.
At this point, Gohan, Kuririn, Tsunade, and Hirzuen would cowered themselves onto their knees. Covering their ears would not help them to ignore the scream. It hurt their eardrum so much. If the scream kept up like that, their inner ears may have bled, and they may have bled to death.
Gohan glanced outside once again. He could see that the people outside already covered their ears painfully. They also cowered their head down, hoping that the scream would stop.
It was so torment!
Now at this point, it already caused big earthquake. It turned out that the floor could not handle the earthquake anymore, as it began to collapse.
'Oh, no! If I don't stop him, they will…' Gohan panicked. But he was still unable to do anything. Deafening him paralyzed him at this moment.
As he was unable to do anything, the floor already collapsed, and on top of people down there, it crushed them to death. That was first big causalities of this little war! When the floor collapsed before, Gohan, Kuririn, Tsunade, and Hirzuen fell down to the floor, but Paradox, Guure, and Coola remained stand there.
'Damn!' Gohan mentally cursed to himself. He was not the type to curse, being 6 years old and all. He was still able to contain his anger, but very soon, he would not be able to control it any longer.
The more scream Guure went, the more earthquake became. It was almost as if whole planet shook. If he continued to scream more like that, the universe could be destroyed anytime!
He screamed another shockwave, and the roof flew away.
If he guessed correctly, the earthquake probably was already way over 10.0, especially that the whole world may be in earthquake right now.
'At this rate, this will be the result of many causalities if he keeps up like that!' realized Kuririn, still covering his ears. But only one thing he wondered was how Guure did not lose his voice by doing that?
Danzo's Root Base- Right before Guure's Massive Scream
"SAAAAAAAKKKKKKURRRRRRRA!" screamed Hinata.
Suddenly, just right before Danzo could rip Sakura's head off, he dropped the sword, and cringed, as he covered his ears, cowering his head down. But he was not only one that experienced it, Sakura and Hinata also experienced the same thing. They covered their ears, also cowering their head down.
They all even felt the massive earthquake that just happened down. The bridge started to creak altogether.
'What's going on?! What's that scream, and at this rate, this bridge is going to be broken in half!' thought Hinata. 'I have to save Sakura and leave this place as soon as possible!'
Some pillars already fell apart, but unfortunately, one of pillar fell over to the bridge, fatally destroyed the support of the bridge. No later than sooner, the bridge would then collapse. Sakura, Hinata, and Danzo were falling down along with the bridge, as they were surprised. They realized that they may have fallen to their death soon.
Cryptology Office- Right before Guure's Massive Scream
"I did it! I fixed it! Now I found a way to restore Sakura's power!" Bulma cheered, jumped up and down. Indeed, the laser gun was modified. The language had changed into the common language. It was no longer Xenonians language. For that, she was so excited to restore Sakura's power. She would often brag about herself being a science genius.
"Oh, that's good!" Shiho said it with a praise.
Inari put his crossbow over his back and grinned, "Now we need to hurry over and find Sakura, so she can get her pow—"
Suddenly, Inari, Shiho, and Bulma cringed, as they covered their ears and cowered their head down. They really had no idea what was going on over there! But they did know that Coola and his men were already here. That's why Shikamaru hurried back to her team's side. But the point is, they really did not know what's going on outside.
Whatever the sound that was, it really hurt their eardrum. They covered their ears in anguish. Not even that they covered their ears would muffle the sound.
The ground shook so hard so that they fell to the floor. Bulma would panic around, and thought it was one of typical earthquake, but in reality, it came from Guure a kilometer away. But when it escalated even further, the roof would then collapse down onto a surprised trio.
Hokage's Road- With Shikamaru- Before Guure's Massive Scream
Shikamaru, Ino, and Choji would help their fellow villagers to go to evacuation point, so they could be shelter from Coola and his men. They also helped their fellow shinobi like Lee, Tenten, Kiba, Shino, and more others.
When Shikamaru learned that Coola and his men were here, he immediately hurried to Ino and Choji, and received information on the recent event such as when Coola and his men arrived. He was shocked that a little incident could have turned this into an uproar battle. He was grateful that they were able to stall them and evacuated citizens.
"Hey! Are you stupid or what?! No! You don't need your stuff! Do what I say! Oh, dammit! C'mon! Stop gathering your stuff! Do you want to die?! IDIOOOOOT!" Ino's shouting could be heard from inside the house. Apparently, some idiots thought their items were a value more than a life.
Shikamaru sighed, "Troublesome girl…"
Choji would just smile and chow down on some chips off the bag, while he helped guiding some citizens on the road to evacuation point. It may be far, but that's why ninjas were here to make sure that they would live. There's a reason why most citizens lived in the center of the Konohagakure, so they could go everywhere easily.
In some incident, some people would fight each other for their own stupidity. Some drunk people would make a stupid bet that Coola would win, because the fact that they already destroyed other four villages. Choji had to be very patient with them and pointed out the direction where drunken people should head.
Who would drink alcoholic in the morning? It was still 8 in the morning. That was really strange.
Shikamaru would lazily pointed out the direction where they should be heading, and that was all. Sometimes, he had to groan and knock some sense into few elderly people who refused to leave their house, because their house was always the home for each generation. Some old people they were. A catchphrase that he would usually use on this certain type of thing that happened, in fact, for everything. Troublesome. Yes, he thought everything was troublesome no matter what.
For instance, if you had to pick up the remote right next to you, it would become troublesome for him. Or better yet, if you had to say 'thank you', it would be troublesome anyways.
Anyways, the most troublesome experience he had to go through was when there's sudden very noise that came through them. He was surprised, but he could not handle the high pitch of the scream, so he also cowered down and covered his head in anguish. He also noticed that most people around him were covering their ears, thanks to high pitch of the scream.
At this point, apparently, the scream had caused a massive earthquake. Many houses would collapse, and killed so many people in the process. Maybe few ninjas, but they were mostly genins.
Despite that they tried their best to protect citizens, so many citizens also fell to this victim as well. So many people that died because of a high pitch scream. No one had a clue what's going on or who screamed right now. But they knew that whom screamed was the responsible for their casualties.
The roof that flew away from the Hokage's mansion had crashed onto a group of citizens along with few genins who tried to help them.
Some citizens could not take scream anymore, as they decided to commit suicide. Some citizens just died because the fact that they bled to death from their inner ear. Even some place was burned with a flame where many people died in there. They were unable to flee from the fire. Somewhere in a place, the house was mostly filled with the gas, it exploded because of earthquake which caused by the scream. Of course, people were killed by an explosion, but it was not few, but so many people.
Other place where a street light post could have fallen onto the children, but a chuunin had to push them away, as street light post fell down onto the top of his body. In fact, it fell on the top of his head, in which he had died from it. The children would run away and start crying, pleading for their parents.
Due to high level of earthquake, the road creaked, as they spilt up. Unfortunately, few people in the middle of the collapsed road fell through it. One of them managed to cling onto the edge of the split road. The other one who never fell rushed to their side and attempted to grab one of them to save his life, but the earth just shook again.
Unfortunately, in between the survivor, both road slammed against each other, but he got in the way, so half of his body ripped away, resulting in his girlfriend scream with a horror.
So many people would become the victim of Guure. So many people fell into the causalities. So many people did not survive, but it continued to do so. The earthquake will continue to quake, people will continue to die, and any buildings, trees, or street light posts will continue to fall down like a rain.
Not even ninjas were able to save them. All they could do was to look on horror.
Then that moment, Shikamaru looked up and widened his eyes in shock. "That…" He managed to form the word out of his mouth, despite the massive noise that came through his ears. People around him just heard him, and looked at him, who pointed out at the sky. They would look at the sky and widened their eyes in shock and fear, too.
Many enemies flew on way towards them, assumed that they were all Coola's henchmen. There were like millions of henchmen.
Hokage's Office- With Gohan
While Guure still screamed, taking it to whole next level, Gohan looked with a horror when so many people outside were killed by Guure's scream. He also saw more enemies that approached Konohagakure. If he did not do something, there would be the death.
Every seconds of his scream, more people became his victims, and Gohan could not allow that any longer.
At first, Gohan would plead at the frog man. "Stop…" He would tighten his fists and his face would harden. His whole body were shaking, not with tremble, but with a furious that would soon happen. After all, he could not stand the sight of death of these Elementians.
The thought of them suffering the death at the hand of Guure sickened him to no end. "Stop…"
Coola quirked up when he sensed the increase in Gohan's power. 'No question about it. With a sudden change in his powers with his rage, he must be hybrid Saiyan that I've heard so much about it.' Then he smirked very proudly. 'Just like Fayre… Hybrid Saiyan must be powerful, not even a pure Saiyan could stand up to!'
Kuririn would mutter to him once more again. "Hey, hey, calm down."
But Gohan wouldn't listen to him. He could not contain his anger anymore, especially when Guure continued to scream and continued to kill people one by one.
"STOOOOOOOP!" Gohan's anger exploded, and he charged towards the screaming Guure. He pulled his fist and threw a punch around. His fist connected with Guure's cheek, sending him sprawling into the air outside. When he punched Guure, his screaming halted, and that would mean that the earthquake had stopped, but it did not stop people from dying. After all, more enemies were coming after them.
Tsunade and Hirzuen were amazed at how powerful Gohan was. He was able to knock Guure away, especially with his small body. Coola and Paradox were not surprised. After all, Gohan was a hybrid Saiyan.
With the rage already exploded, Gohan flew after the frog man in the sky.
"W-Wait, Gohan!" Kuririn cried, as he flew away to follow Gohan and Guure.
"Follow them, Paradox. But do not get involve in the fight when Guure's fighting them, unless you're needed there. Observe," ordered Coola.
Paradox sighed with a disappointment. "Aww, what a shame!" Suddenly, he got an idea and he grinned like an idiot again. "I would like to play around with them, but I wonder if I can give Guure the time of my choice when he will end the fight?"
"Do as you like." Coola said with an amused chuckle.
"Sweet!" Paradox pumped up his fists before flying away to follow Gohan, Kuririn, and Guure.
Guure was being knocked away, as he lifted his head up, much to his surprise, Gohan was still in his raging mode.
The hybrid Saiyan kid flew above Guure and raised his clasped hands, as he screamed with a rage that exploded inside his chest and slammed his body down, smashing through a several broken building. Luckily, there was a place where no one were there. He did not even have a time to think twice, as he raised his both hand to charge up the Ki.
"STOP!" Before Gohan could throw a barrage of Ki blasts at the frog man, Kuririn screamed from the behind, which stopped Gohan from throwing down and looked at the bald shorty in confusion. "If you do that, these people will be just in the way!"
Realization just hit him, as he looked down at these people who were still near the place. He gulped. If Kuririn did not intervene in, he would have killed them unintentionally. He was glad for Kuririn's intervention.
Kuririn sighed with a relief. 'That's so close. A guilty would have tripped him over if he had killed them unintentionally. Goku probably won't be pleased with him, and so either is Naruto.'
Guure cleared the rubbles off, as he stood up and stared up at Gohan with a stoic expression. 'To think he'd surprise attack me. Next time, I won't let them surprise me. I would have finished them off right away, but in order to stay in Coola's group, I need to fight them for more than five minutes.'
Despite him being calm down, Gohan would glare at him and shook up with a rage remaining in him. 'How could he?! He killed so many people! I won't let that happen anymore!'
Now there was no going back on his action, There's a war that just already started. More enemies would arrive soon and there would be big battle upcoming.
He already engaged in the battle against Guure, so he had no choice. He would descend down to the ground and pulled his fists down to his sides, glaring at Guure. "I won't let you kill them anymore! I will defeat you!"
Kuririn landed next to Gohan, as he rubbed his bald head sheepishly. "Drat! Looks like I got no choice. All right, I will help you." That was big letdown for him. He would like to avoid the fight for once, but every time they came in big bad guys, he had to be the one to fight as well. 'Maybe… this time I won't have any luck. For sure, this time, I may have died. Oh, man! I will never marry a woman!'
Guure squinted his eyes. He barely moved a muscle, as he continued to glare at Gohan. "You should consider this a lucky. If it were up to me, you would be dead by now already."
Kuririn gulped nervously. 'Oh, shit! If his looks could kill me…'
Gohan scowled. Maybe that frog man was right. He knew he was outclassed in every way against Guure. But there's only one he could do was to survive and defend the Konohagakure until Sakura and Hinata arrived.
Guure spread his fingers up forward at his opponents. "Five minutes… That will be the exact minutes I'll finish you off. You should be grateful that you will only have five minutes to live."
'He said he could kill us if he wants to, but he chose to spend five minutes with us. What is he planning to do? I hope he is not planning to play around with me, just like every enemy,' thought Kuririn.
"I don't care how long we're fighting… I WILL DEFEAT YOU AS MANY TIMES AS I CAN!" Gohan declared his intentions against Guure. He clenched his fists until his both knuckles popped off.
But just before Guure could make a move, Paradox landed behind him. Of all times, it just had to be Paradox that interrupted their soon-to-be fighting. "Yo, frog-bastard!" Paradox waved at Guure with a wide grin.
Guure did not leave his eyes off Gohan, and growled in annoyance. "What do you want? Surely, you have a business somewhere better than pestering me when I have a business against these pipsqueaks."
Paradox laughed, as he relaxed his arms behind his head. "Oh, you wounded me. You treat me like I'm your enemy. Can't I be your cheerleader?" A light bulb suddenly appeared above his head, almost as if he got an idea. He bonked his own forehead at once and snapped his finger excitedly. "Oh, yes! I can be cheerleader for you! What a brilliant idea! But too bad, I did not bring my cheerleader stuffs, although."
"Do what you want." Guure remained stoic. He did not adjust his expression regards to Paradox. "But you will not get your turn. I will finish them off in five minutes."
Paradox just gave him a sadistic grin. "Oh, I regret to inform you that you won't be fighting them for five minutes."
Guure finally took his eyes off Gohan and Kuririn and directed to Paradox behind him. "What?! What do you mean I won't be fighting them for five minutes?"
"With Coola's permission, I'm allowed to decide the minimum duration of fight you may get."
"What is it? How long until I can end the fight?"
Paradox could not wait to see the face on Guure when he would declare the duration of the battle Paradox would receive. But first… He would like to see his reaction when he put it like this. He lifted one finger. "One…"
Guure was relieved when he saw the number sign. "One minute?" He scoffed, as he went back to Gohan and Kuririn. "That's fine. I will finish them off in a minute. But you will regret giving a mere minute, because this is the type that I can live with. What's so funny?"
Guure did not like a bit when Paradox constantly laughed at him. Knowing Paradox, he probably would laugh his ass off when he tricked him or pranked. But this time, why did Paradox laugh? Did he laugh that Guure was relieved to fight only for one minute? But it turned out that he was wrong.
"One hour…" Paradox just announced the duration of Guure until he may have ended the fight against these so-called pipsqueaks.
Guure snapped around, looking at him in shock. "WHAT?!" He quickly became angry. "I do not appreciate that you lie right to my face! Is there a truth in what you may just told me? Did Coola really allow you to decide any duration of the fight on me?"
Paradox shrugged his shoulders off, like he did not care in the world. He would have no problem forcing him to fight for three days straight, but it would be very bored. He would like to fight as well. "If that's what you want, I will tell Coola that you disobey my order, which is also indirect order from Coola. He will be disappointed in you, I presume."
Guure scowled. "Damn! Just one hour, that's it?" Once again, he looked back at Gohan and Kuririn again.
"That's right. I will be just watching you fight for an hour. You should thank me for not forcing you to fight for three days! Of course, Coola probably would be very impatient if I decided on this one! Just enjoying your fight against them. I'm so eager to see what they may offer up on."
"Okay, if it is an order from Coola-sama, then I'll take it, though I disagreed with his decision. But if I find out that you're lying…"
"I'm not lying."
"Then fine… I will fight them for an hour. Just an hour!" Guure said through his teeth. He did not like this, but as long as it was an order from Cooal, then he would have to tolerate it. 'Just one hour! That's really long! If I pretend that it's only a minute, then I should be fine.'
"Ha, suck it up, you buffoon frog-man!" mocked Paradox.
Promptly ignoring his annoying comrade, Guure took few steps towards Gohan and Kuririn before taking into his battle stance.
"Careful, Gohan. Remember not to let our guard down. Even if he's going to fight us for an hour, we still need to defend ourselves and stall them for a while until Sakura and Hinata come back," said Kuririn.
Gohan nodded, "Right."
Gohan and Kuririn shifted into their battle stance, as they were prepared to face off against Guure, while Paradox would watch as spectacular.
Danzo's Root Base- With Sakura and Hinata
The bridge was already broken in half. Hinata was fighting a bunch of Coola's men who recently already attacked Konoha. She couldn't help Sakura to safety because Coola's men were distracting her. She just had to dispone of one by one.
While Hinata was focused on her opponents, Sakura already clung to the bridge, barely hung up her hand onto the edge of the bridge, dangling around, while holding Danzo's hand. She just tried her best to not let him to fall to his death, despite the fact that he was the one who slaughtered her parents like they were animals in front of her.
She struggled to pull up, but she was too weak, thanks to her power being stolen. Without her powers, she was powerless to fly and even unable to climb up. So she had no choice but to wait for Hinata to finish fighting.
"Please, wait a few seconds. She'll be there to save us, Danzo." Sakura reassured. She may have hated him, but there's no way she would let him fall to his death. She tried her best not to let her hatred overcome her. But she seemed to unable to get the horrible death of her parents off her mind. She even almost dropped Danzo, but she grasped his hand to ensure that he would not fall.
Danzo shot his glare up at her. "Damn! Despite all the fact I slaughtered your parents, you still are willing to keep me alive. WHY?!"
"Shut up…" Sakura muttered with a sad face, but it was enough loud for Danzo to hear her. "As much as I hated you, I'm not going to kill you."
"You…!" Danzo growled. He still could not believe that he was spared, even though he killed her parents. But he refused to be spared by a vixen. So he knew a way to press button on her. "I KILLED YOUR PARENTS!"
"Stop it…" Despite Sakura being exhausted, she still hung onto the edge of the bridge. She hoped that Hinata would have finished her fight against Coola's men soon. "I will not commit a revenge just because you killed my parents. I'm not like Uchiha! But you will be in prison for the rest of your life when we defeated Coola."
Danzo hated that. He was not about to have his life spared. He would rather to die than being spared by a woman who became vixen to the Kyuubi brat! "I will do anything in my power to become the Hokage, even if it means sacrificing many people for my sake! Even if I kill your parents in a gruesome way, for I have enjoyed it, because you deserved it! When someone like you defied me, I sent someone to kill them to do my dirty work."
"SHUT UP!" Sakura screamed. But no matter what she told him to shut up, he would keep ranting and ranting about how he enjoyed killing her parents. He really got on her nerves!
"But you're an exceptional. You're different. I've sent someone to do my dirty work, so they can kill someone for me. Like Hinata's mother, for example. At first, I sent someone to kill your parents, but of course, Lightning saved them and faked their death. Because of that, I'm grateful! It gave me a chance to use my own hands to kill them in FRONT OF you! Because I want you to understand. The way how the shinobi world works! Everyone and your silly ideal of a peace have weakened our military system!"
"Shut up!" Sakura repeated with the tears trickle down from her eyes. 'No matter what… I won't drop you off… NO matter what…' Her plead with herself had become weaker and weaker by every second. She began to lose her grasp onto Danzo's hand by little.
"You're so weak! JUST LIKE I SLAUGHTERED THEM LIKE THEY ARE AN ANIMALS!" Danzo screamed.
She widened her eyes, as she was frozen in place. The way Danzo just said words out loud to her. His tone suggested that he had no regret that he killed her parents. He had no regret as long as he got what he wanted: To become the Hokage.
She kept getting the flashback of her parents being slaughtered by Danzo in front of her LIKE AN ANIMALS. Father; stabbed multiple times to death, Mother; swiftly beheaded, but moved her eyes for 15 seconds even though her head was removed. It kept haunting her, no matter how she struggled to get it off her mind.
She tried to battle with her mind. There were two minds that battled against each other. Her hearts thumped so hard. She literally had two minds that battled each other! She shut her eyes closed.
Kill!
Don't kill!
Kill Danzo!
Keep Danzo alive!
Kill him!
Don't kill him!
Kill!
Don't kill!
Kill!
Don't kill!
Kill!
Don't kill!
Soon, the bold one began to dominate her mind. The italic one had suddenly disappeared from her mind, as if the bold one just sent the italic one into the nether world.
KILL! KILL! KILL! KILL! KILL! KILLLLLLLLLLLL!
She slowly opened her eyes, and her eyes had become very cold. At this point, she had no longer cared what would happen to Danzo. Everyone hated Danzo anyways. No one would care if he died anyways.
At this point, she felt nothing. She already made a decision. She just released her hand off him, as she dropped him, and he fell down through the black pitch of the bottomless pit until the sight of him was long gone.
She saw nothing.
She heard nothing.
She felt nothing.
Right now, she had no regrets.
Outer Space- Lightning's Spaceship- With Lightning
"Lightning-kun!" Very familiar female voice called out to him, just as he just approached the room. "I just received the word from the spy that Sakura-san just killed Danzo."
Lightning turned around and smirked at very beautiful woman at the middle age. For a 40-years old woman, she still looked in her 20s. "Good, Hinata-chan. Now we have more chance for her to join our side since she killed Danzo. It should be effect on her soon later."
"Do you know if you revive Sakura with that small piece of vial of her blood, she will live for a week?" Hinata reminded him, as she walked along with him to the room.
"Yes, Hinata-chan." Lightning chuckled. "That's why I want Sakura to join us, so our Sakura can be revived in exchange for her soul. For now, let's revive her now."
Both Lightning and Hinata entered the room and walked up to the casket in the center of the room. They found themselves in front of dead Sakura with very long pink haired and little tall than her present counterpart in her naked body. Her corpse remained in the very cold casket, which kept her skin to stay, rather than letting her skin to rot away.
"What happens if she finds out about us, Lightning-kun?" asked a curious Hinata.
"She is going to be surprised. She will understand. But on this matter…" Lightning's mouth curled up into an evil grin. "I'm going to bring you back to life, Sakura-chan!"

A/N: Wow, that's the conclusion of the chapter. Now Sakura had taken the life of Danzo, and now he's finally dead. But how can she handle the death of her parents after witnessing the most brutal death she had ever seen? Now Coola's men are invading the Konoha. They're at the war right now. But the question is, will Lightning bring Future Sakura back to life, but it lasts only for a week? Now Guure has to deal with the one hour of fighting Gohan and Kuririn, but can he handle it, though? What can Shikamaru do after witnessing many causalities of the war? What of Bulma, Shiho, and Inari? Are they still alive? And more important, most of all, now Fayre and Tobi are trapped in Kamui's Dimension. Can Fayre unmask him? Poor Sakura! I would be having a mental breakdown if I was in her shoe, too. After all, if I thought my parents are dead, then I found that they're still alive, but only to be killed in front of me, I would be in Heroic BSOD. If you don't know what it is, look it up on TV tropes. Sorry, but don't worry, Sakura fans... She is strong woman, so I'm sure she can handle it. :) But the problem is the revival of her parents. Hint: Hinata figured out a way to bring them back to life. Find out on next chapter. :D
Now on to more important subject, I'm sure you're wondering what happened to me? You see, the reason why I could not update the story because I had a vertigo.
In fact, it started two years ago when I had a vertigo. I had to go to ER to check up on me. I was told that it's all because of my asthma, but it is not. It's actually Vertigo. But I got better so fast in one day. Then one year later, I had a vertigo temporarily. It only lasted for an hour. It's all good.
It did not happen until December 30. Suddenly, I got a major veritgo, so I threw up and went to nap. Then it got better. I thought it's over, but I'm wrong. It happened again on January 8 and 9! I had a vertigo for two straight days. I had to go to ER on 8th. I found out that it was a vertigo.
What is Vertigo? Vertigo is a sensation of whirling and loss of balance, associated particularly with looking down from the greater height, or caused by disease affecting the inner ear or the vestibular nerve; giddiness.
In this case, it came from my inner ear. There's high pressure in my inner ear, which caused me to have an episode of vertigo. Because I had an episode of vertigo, it affected my activity. It means I could not even write a story or could not even finish the chapter.
But I'm better. So I was able to finish the story. I was supposed to update two weeks ago, but it's all thanks to Vertigo. Now you know why I did not update two weeks after I updated my last one chapter.
