Then I will make a long explanation on the end of next chapter. I just want to let you have a long read yourself. This one is 12, 830 words. Other chapter is 21k words. That should be long enough for you to read chapters. Sorry, no omake for you guys on this chapter and next chapter. I'm not ready. So hopefully, on Chapter 110, there will be finally omake again :D

Chapter 108: Attack on Konoha
Age 763, December 1- Danzo's ROOT Base, Konohagakure, Land of Fire- With Sakura and Hinata
Luckily, Hinata managed to jump off the bridge that recently collapsed. She saw that Sakura clung onto the edge of the bridge, dangling around and holding Danzo's hand. She really wanted to help Sakura up, but all of the sudden, new enemies entered this underground building, and began to attack her.
Despite the dust kicked up a lot, thanks to her Byakugan that already activated long ago, she was able to see the people through the obscuration. She could see a glow white enemy that was running towards her in these massive dusts.
She set her stance up, as she placed her right leg backward and bent her left knee forward, while pulling her right palm to her side and forward her left palm, in preparing for an upcoming attack. 'What? Coola's men? No, it can't be. That means Coola and his men are already here? Damn, it's too soon! No… I should not be afraid. I should not fear them. Now that I'm gaining new powers, I should be able to handle them.'
A glow white enemy revealed himself to be one of Coola's henchman. He looked like a very weak form of crocodile alien.
If he wanted to remain a stealthy, he should know better to keep his mouth shut. Even if she was a Hyuuga, he should always be quiet no matter what, because before he emerged from the dust, he already revealed himself to his enemy when he screamed "DIE!", only to be killed by Hinata. She simply touched his chest with his two fingertips, disarming his most value vital.
Now three more people came through the dust, she would have to fight all of three at once. The first tried to perform a hook kick right at her jaw, but she disappeared along with a blur. The first one landed with a hook kick, denting a ground, looking around for her. Before he realized it, she flew from the above and delivered a powerful palm onto the back of his first opponent, ending his life.
After she landed with her knees bent, she then noticed that the second opponent made an attempt to ambush her with his claw that just suddenly came out of his knuckles. But that caught her by a surprise. She did not realize that one of them could have a claw out of his knuckles. She barely dodged it, as it scratched her left cheek, in which it bled a bit. Granted, it did not scratch very deep enough, so she would not have to worry about the scar forever. It would heal, and it would be gone later.
But still, she was out rightly pissed off. She immediately grabbed his whole claw knuckles tightly, which forced him to struggle to break free of it, but to no avail. Because she was pissed off, she was able to break his claw knuckles off, inflicting a harm on him. He screamed painfully, and he had to clasp on his broken claw knuckles.
"YOU BITCH!" The third one screamed. When the third one landed behind him, the ground shook so hard. Luckily, Sakura still managed to hang on the edge of the broken bridge. At least, this fight took place really far away from the bridge, where it could not be destroyed at this distance.
Anyways, she was surprised. A simple landing like that caused the ground to shake so hard. She gulped, as she slowly turned her head around. When she took a notice of his appearance, she widened her eyes, as her pupils were shaking so hard. 'He's so… big!'
That person was an 8-feet large bald man with a lot of muscles and dark green skins. He wore no shirt, but a simple short jean, and without any footwear. He looked like he was purely angry. He looked almost as if he was ready to explode at any moment.
"What's up with him?" Hinata muttered, wondering why he was so angry at her. She had done nothing to warrant his anger against her. Was he angry at her because she killed two and broke another one's claw knuckles?
The man with a claw knuckles laughed, despite the fact that he had a broken claw knuckles. "He doesn't have a name, but everyone calls him Rage, because of his constant rage personality. He's ranked 3 in ninth division of Coola's groups. He would have made a fine leader, if he was not damn short-tempered guy. Anyways, if he smashes you, it's over."
The more Rage stared at Hinata, the more rage he got. "ARGH! YOU MAKE ME SOOOO MAAAAD! DIEEEEE!"
"Shit!" Hinata panicked. If what this guy said was a true, then she would have to make sure that she would not get hit by this monster. She could not get out immediately. All she had to do was to wait for him to make his move, so she could dodge and finish him off as soon as possible!
Rage screamed intensely and pulled his palm to charge up the dark green sphere. The longer he screamed, the bigger that dark green energy sphere became.
"Stop this instant!" cried the claw knuckles user. "You will destroy this planet if you do!"
Hinata looked at the claw knuckles user in disbelief. 'What? He can destroy this planet with that kind of size?'
Rage's dark green energy sphere was about the medium size. Normally, it was a building-sized energy sphere. But this one, right now, was actually about town-sized energy sphere.
'I can't dodge this, or we will be caught in an explosion. I need to stop it somehow,' thought Hinata.
But instead of growing green energy sphere, Rage shrunk it very small energy sphere, much to their relief. At least, she would be able to dodge without a problem.
Rage yelled, "DIEEEEEE, YOU LITTLE WORM!" Then he flung his arm around, hurling the small green energy sphere at her. It was no ordinary small piece of energy sphere. It was tremendous Ki.
"Wait—" The claw knuckles user cried, but his voice halted after Hinata jumped to evade the energy sphere, as it fired at him, completely obliterating him.
"AHHHH! YOU DODGE!" Rage outrageously screamed, searching for her. "ARGH! WHERE YOU?! YOU COWARDLY BITCH!"
Hinata landed on the bridge of his large nose. Once she looked up, she was startled by a large furious green eyes. Red veins on his white eyeballs seemed like they were crawling towards their pupils. 'What's with him? Is he always angry?'
She shook her head. 'No, I don't have a time to think about it. I have to hurry and finish him off so I can save Sakura.' She pulled her right palm to her side to gather some of her chakra plus new Ki into her palm. She was going to palm him in the face.
But she was unable to strike, as she just noticed Rage's fist that approached her. Having no time to strike at his face, she had no choice but to jump off the face, which led him to punch himself in the face, causing a nosebleed.
Hinata landed, and looked up at the 8-foot green-skin bald man who held his face in anguish. That claw-knuckles user was not kidding after all. A simple punch like that could have killed you. That a simple punch inflicted a large wound on his own face like that.
"AHHHH!" Rage cried painfully, clinging to his nose. He gave her an intense glare. His body was shaking with a load of rage that lies within him for years. It looked like he was going to explode his whole rage for very first time ever. "You… You… YOU BROKE MY NOSE! MY NOOOOOOSSEEEEE! YOU BROKE MY NOSE?! YOU THINK ME SO STUPID?!"
After hearing that he called himself a smart man, Hinata could not help but to laugh a little. "Hehe… Indeed, you're stupider than worms. After all, you punched yourself in the face."
"YOU BROOOOKE MY NOSE! YOU PAY!" Rage's fist soared towards her, but only to punch the ground after she took off into the air. The ground broke into many piece of rubbles that was flying around.
She was jumping, as she gave him a frustrated glare. "Damn… I don't have a time for your bullshit! I have someone to save right now."
By the looks of his massive muscle, she doubted that a single palm attack would have ended his life. Instead, she gambled on Hakke Sanjuni Sho (Eight Trigrams Thirty-Two Palms). However, without the usage of her new founded power Ki, she doubted that it would have ended his life as well. So all she needed was to add the Ki to her Hakke Sanjuni Sho, then his life would be over.
On the mid-air, she already leapt down towards the large eight-feet man and recently had begun to pull her right palm to her side and put her left palm forward. "You're within my range." Due to her vision, the green field of circle expanded all over them in a place. There was only three layers of circle. Hinata was in the center of yin-yang circle, and Rage was in the third circle.
She delivered two consecutive strikes to in the center between his massive neck and his massive chest. "Two strikes!" After a couple of hits, Rage already coughed up the blood. She knew it worked well, especially since she simply molded Ki into her technique.
Then she threw a couple of hits right to the middle of his chest, which threw him off a little bit. "Four strikes!" Of course, after taking a hard palm to the middle chest, he would have a hard time to breathe. He gasped, struggling to take another breathe. However, he barely could breathe.
She wanted to make sure that he would be out of breath. By doing that, she would aim for the same chest. She wanted to use up all of her hits on the same target… in the middle of his chest.
After using up her four strikes, of course, her speed would be increased. She used a palm attack on his middle chest four times to make it eight strikes now. "Eight strikes!" Thanks to the force of her palm attack, he took a step backward, unbalanced. It seemed like he was about to lose his balance. Plus, he lost a lot of bloods out of his mouth.
Just two more consecutive strikes…
She gave eight consecutive strikes to the same target—his middle chest. "Sixteen strikes!"
Finally, for the final consecutive strikes, with the aid of her Ki, her speed was unreal. She moved too fast than the standard ninja's speed. She could not believe it herself, but she was so proud of it. She gave a fast barrage of palm attacks on the middle of his massive chest. She finally forced him to fall off, while still giving him a barrage of palm attacks. A couple hits later, he completely fell to his back. However, she was not done with it. Only a final palm attack she would need right now. She propelled her powerful palm at his chest with a strong force. "Thirty-two strikes!"
She used Hakke Sanjuni Sho on Rage…
It was super effective!
He fainted!
She spun, and landed graciously, with her behind at his fallen body. But it seemed to take a toll on her body. She had to use up her energy to ensure that he would be dead. 'He's a tough bastard for sure! But I managed to defeat him. If he lives, who knows how many planets he could have destroyed, due to his unnecessary rage? But never mind that, I have to save Sakura.'
She ran on way to the broken bridge, but then she remembered how Danzo could be brutal with the slaughter of Sakura's parents. She realized he may have goaded her into killing him. Or even worse, Danzo probably would pull her hair down to die with him, just like in Naruto's scroll. 'Shit! I have to stop her from killing him, or she will…'
Her thought detached when she finally arrived her destination. She was relieved to learn that Danzo was still alive. Sakura was holding Danzo's hand to prevent him from falling off. But before she realized it, it was too late.
She even cried at Sakura. "Don't kill him!" But Sakura did it anyways. She finally dropped him off. She tried to grab Danzo's hand, but it was too late. He was out of her reach at that moment. He just fell into the darkness.
Danzo was dead.
"Shit!" Hinata cursed to herself. Her fear became reality. Sakura just took someone's life off whom just killed her loved ones. Sakura savored her family more than anything. Boyfriend was even considered to be part of family. Now she just killed someone who took the life of her parents. The day of her fear finally became reality.
Enraged by witnessing her to take the life of someone off, she did not bother to care to grab her hand very gently. She roughly picked her hand up and threw her to the floor behind her.
Sakura quickly climbed to her knees, glaring at her with her sharp eyes. "What was that?! Why are you so rough with me?!"
"Damn, Sakura! I told you not to kill him!" Hinata yelled back.
"WHAT?! HE DESERVED IT?!" Sakura shot back. "Besides, you always wanted to kill him! WHY CAN'T I KILL HIM?! Why do you care about him? He's nothing but a worthless scum who needed to disappear from this world!"
Hinata responded her by rushing and grabbing her collar, slamming her against the wall. "Because you did something you should not have done!"
Sakura scowled. She was really confused. She failed to understand what Hinata was talking about. She did something that she had not done? Any person in her shoe would have wanted to kill someone who killed her parents. "What're you talking about?! What I've done is what anyone would have done. I'm tired of him constantly making me suffer! He keeps getting in my life when he should not have. SO HE DESERVED IT!"
"No, what you've done is that you contradicted yourself right now! Because you've done something that you should not have. Thanks to your unnecessary action, I have to look after you for a while!"
"You're acting like I'm some kind of unstable or something! You're so jealous that you did not get your kill, that's all!"
"That's so unfortunate. It seems like you're going to be like this for the rest of your life if you can't calm down!"
"No! I will not calm down! First, tell me why I can't kill him, but why can you?!"
Hinata's simple reply was: "Because I'm not a Haruno."
"What?! What does it have to do anything with a Haruno?! What do you have a right to kill someone that I don't have a right to? Danzo deserved it, right?! RIGHT, HINATA?!"
Hinata closed her eyes and sighed. "Agreed. Danzo deserved it. But… because he killed your parents in front of you, you're not supposed to kill him." She opened her eyes again, but this time, she casted down her saddened eyes. "You just can't…"
Sakura looked at her in disbelief. Minutes ago, they were like best friends right now. Now, Hinata treated her like she's an unstable right now. She could not be more pissed off than before. Right now, she would not want to see Hinata's face again.
Hinata was an arrogant bitch!
"Dammit, Hinata! You're a delusional here! Not me! Get off me!" demanded Sakura. She was tired of Hinata for this month. She was fed up with her. What she wished was for Hinata to go back to her old self. But now, Hinata would be always arrogant bitch. Very selfish bitch! She was so happy that she had Naruto, instead of Hinata.
Hinata hesitated for a second, but on second thoughts, if she won't move her hands off from Sakura, there was going to be problem for both of them. After all, Sakura needed to calm down.
Hinata sighed, as she put Sakura down, and turned her back on her. "Fine. But you mustn't kill anymore, or it will make worse. Let me kill the rest."
"Great… What's next? Tell me that I have to hand Naruto over to you… because I'm 'unstable'?" Sakura said sarcastically. She fixed her own outfit, because Hinata messed it up a little bit.
Hinata had to restrain herself to chew out on Sakura, because she reminded her that Sakura just killed Danzo. She turned around to face the pink-haired girl again. "You don't understand. I'll tell you why later. But for now, we have to help—"
Then there was a sudden small earthquake, in which it caused Sakura to fall, thanks to no possession of Ki. Hinata's eyes were widen, as the shadow loomed over her. "THAT HUUUUUURTS! YOU DIE NOWWWWW!"
Sakura pushed herself up and looked up in shock. "What?!"
Hinata gulped. She looked around and widened her eyes in shock. "N-No way!"
Surprisingly, that was Rage who seemed unharmed for some reason. It seemed unreal that there was no single damage on her body. He shook his head intensely with the rage that filled in his whole body. His fists threatened to kill two birds with one stone.
"I SOOOO MAAAAAD! YOU DIE NOOOOW!" Rage screamed. This time, his whole rage finally exploded.
Outside Ninja Academy- With Kakashi and Tenzo
Currently, they were battling the enemy—Coola's underlings. Fortunately, most Coola's henchmen were so weak. They were around the average of jounin level. So Kakashi and Tenzo did not have to worry about fighting against an enemy with ridiculous powers.
Few minutes ago, when Kakashi and Tenzo were on way to bring Sakura and Hinata back, so they could secure Konohagakure from Danzo. They were only one that could buy some times until either Naruto or Sasuke come back.
Moreover, Kakashi and Tenzo were on way to escort Sakura and Hinata back to the Hokage, but when they saw the kids were about to be attacked, so they saved them from that attack.
Iruka left his mouth opened in speechless. He actually expected the enemy to attack the children, but he did not expect Kakashi, of all people, would be on time. Usually, he was always late. But this time, he was being punctual for once. Maybe that's because Konohagakure was in dangerous, Kakashi comprehended the difference between laid-back and seriousness. When it was in critical situation, he would be on time. If not, he would be late as usual, honoring the tribute to his late friend, Uchiha Obito.
Or maybe Kakashi just happened to be nearby, and came to Iruka and his students' rescue. That probably would be why he was here. If he was late even a second later, Iruka and the children would be dead by now.
Caught by his own surprise, one of enemy charged towards him, who charged up the Ki, and intended to use him and the children as their sacrifice. He was going to fire, but just right before he had a chance to, Kakashi took down one of them easily, using the kunai.
He gulped, as he was sweating so hard. His life could have been ended right there. He realized that he had been spacing too long. If Kakashi had not intervene, he would have died already. He would have to thank Kakashi for that later.
Kakashi was a Jounin, and he was still a Chuunin. Chuunin are no match for Coola's men, apparently. Actually, he could handle few of them, but not many of them. That's why Kakashi and Tenzo took an action against them, killing so many of them.
Now, Iruka realized he did not do anything against them. For his students and the students of the academy, he would have to protect them until they're sheltered fully. He dared to fight them along with Kakashi and Tenzo. He was going to stand by their side. He was going to fight them together with Kakashi and Tenzo.
But Kakashi held his arm out without diverting away from some multiple enemies, in case of a blindside attack, while Tenzo was working on dispose of them.
"Huh?" Iruka was slightly confused. He really wanted to fight them by Kakashi and Tenzo's side, even though he disliked him slightly.
"Iruka…" Kakashi had very serious expression on his face. His face looked like he had seen a war before. He had been in the war before. He knew what it was like to be in the war. Right now, this was just another war. No, more like an invasion. But he had been in an invasion before. That was when the Kyuubi attacked the Konoha on rampage. "Evacuate the students."
"B-But…" Iruka tried to speak up, but Kakashi interrupted him.
"No… They need you." Kakashi reassured him. "They need you more than we need you. Without them, we won't have a next generation of ninjas. Protect them at any cost. Their lives are top priority before your life and above. That's the Shinobi Rule. Go! We will make sure they won't go their way!"
Iruka really wanted to help Kakashi and Tenzo, but Kakashi was right. As a teacher, he must be abided by the rule, so he could make sure that the students of the academy were well secured and safety. He hesitated at first, but for the sake of the Konoha, Hokage, and the students, he agreed with Kakashi that he was willing to put his life before the students first.
Without a word to Kakashi, he turned around and stepped forward, looking at his students who were behind him at that time. "Kids, follow me, but don't look back! Come!"
Just as they were running away, the ground suddenly quaked, as it separated the ground between the kids. Since a group of kids was not on the ground, they just fell down through the crevice. Iruka desperately tried to save them, but they fell, but their scream could be heard all the way until it faded away.
Iruka and few kids who survived small earthquake at that time were gaping at the loss of other children. They never lived to become the ninja.
Kakashi and Tenzo looked over their shoulder in shock. They thought whole earthquake was over? But why was there a small earthquake, yet the ground managed to separate? Was it coming from the same man who caused a massive earthquake and many fatalities recently?
Academy students' survivors were weeping for their fellow students' death. They were quivering in fear, because they had seen too many deaths today. This was the day that would traumatize them for the rest of their life. Now they realized that they could have died anytime, when they were standing few feet away from a group of enemy. They had not graduated, so they were not ready to become a ninja.
Iruka still looked through the crevice, but the kids were nowhere to be found. He could not grasp the fact that he, as a teacher, had allowed his students to die! This certain kind of an event reminded him of the Kyuubi that attacked the Konohagakure back in the day when he witnessed his Mom's death and later, he would learn that his Father was killed in the battle against the Kyuubi. Now he had to witness few of his students to die again.
At this very moment, Kakashi was being distracted by the latest death of the academy's students. He simply looked over his shoulder at Iruka who was so miserable right now.
"Watch out!" cried Tenzo. Kakashi suddenly realized that he was not focused on the fight, as he looked around, only to find that his enemy already approached him nearby. His enemy laughed, as he reached on and wrapped his arms around Kakashi's body.
Kakashi was locked in a bear hug. He struggled. He could not seem to break free of it. He would try hard to break free, but it was in vain.
He took a good look on his opponent. It was a wolf. Some kind of werewolf. Or maybe it was just a normal wolf alien. Anyways, he was hugging him too hard enough to break some bones. Kakashi himself could even feel some crack in his bones. However, not only that he felt a crack in his bones, something inside him was being sucked.
'What's this? My chakra is…' Kakashi thought. His chakra was being sucked. A blue chakra of network from his body was moving upward, as in getting out of his body. As long as that werewolf had locked him a bear hug, he would continue to steal his chakra.
"Who'd think the chakra of yours is more delicious than most other Chakra user?" A werewolf laughed, slowly squeezing him. The more squeeze he got on Kakashi, the faster chakra he would steal. "Chakra is so easy to steal than the Ki!"
The more his chakra was being sucked, the more exhaustion he got. He could not afford to let that happen. He got the village to save. Furthermore, he needed to escort Sakura and Hinata. But only if he left a few minute early, he would have been there to escort them.
Kakashi began to wonder where the hell was Tenzo, and what the hell was he doing there? He slowly moved his pupils to the side of his eyes. He found Tenzo there. Of course, only reason why Tenzo did not come to his rescue right now was because he was too busy fending enemies off.
A werewolf was too strong for him. His bear hug was unbearable! Very impossible to break out of his unbearable bear hug. He realized as long as this werewolf was sucking the chakra out of his body, he was going to die. Because without chakra, you die. Chakra was like an energy. If you completely ran out of energy, you could have died. He could feel his energy drained right now. If he did not do something about it, he was going to die.
No matter how much he struggled, he could not find a way to force the werewolf's arms up to release himself. His arms were tied together against his sides. There was nothing he could do. All he could do was to wait for the werewolf to suck his chakra completely. He could only await his death soon. He closed his eyes and began to clear his mind, as he proceeded his though on four certain people. Maybe he would be able to see his Father, Minato-sensei, Rin, and finally… Obito.
Before he could decide to give in his death soon, he was suddenly detached from the werewolf. When he quickly opened his eyes, he found that the werewolf was evading the katana. Whose katana is it? He looked up at whoever was wielding the katana, and it turned out that it was coming from Tenzo.
At that moment, by evading Tenzo's surprise attack, he raised his hand in attempt to claw an ANBU, but it was so close that Tenzo was able to dodge by moving back a bit. But for some reason, the werewolf displayed his toothy evil grin.
Then, much to his surprise, a shockwave emitted from nowhere knocked Tenzo away, drifting through the ground into the fence. When he fell through the fence, some wooden were flying away, and some wooden were collapsing where Tenzo landed on.
Kakashi was baffled to see how Tenzo could possibly knocked by something that he dodged. 'It must be technique. He never intended to punch him, but the air itself that he intended to punch. By punching the air, it emitted the shockwave, which caused him to knock an opponent away. To think that any Ki users is capable of performing that?'
Tenzo slowly got up to his knees, but he no longer wore an ANBU mask. His mask was long ago shattered by this werewolf. He did not give in a time to stare at his opponent. He just made his move immediately afterward.
He only needed to make a single hand seal. Bird hand seal. "Doton: Doryuso! (Earth Release: Earth Flow Spears)" With the hand seal at his disposal, He condensed a stone from the ground of his surrounding, and shaped it into spikes that protruded from the ground. After creating the spike, it propelled towards the werewolf who was still grinning at it, as if it was a toy.
Yamato and Kakashi were not sure what was up with the werewolf. All he did was to stand there and watched as the spike still drove towards him.
'Catch it all you want to, but it will be beyond your strength to stop it. If you stop with your hands alone, it may slow down, but it will rip your hands off and somehow skewer through your body,' thought Tenzo.
Just when the spike was about to stain the werewolf's blood, there was a sudden thick wall slamming down between the werewolf and the spike, which, as a result, caused the spear to knock down due to unable to penetrate through it.
"W-What?" shocked Tenzo and Kakashi.
'Where did the wall come from? It materialized out of nowhere.' Kakashi thought, as he looked around at the very proud werewolf. 'No, it was not the cause by him. Someone's hiding, using a sort of technique against us. Where is he?'
Then he saw a shadow loomed over him, which gave him a start. He widened his eyes and quickly turned around, looking up. He just found the man behind a strange technique. It was the dark green-skinned raven-haired man with a narrow glasses wore in a white robe with a blue sword on each side.
"So you found me." That was the first words that the man with the glasses greeted Kakashi and Tenzo with a polite, yet mocking tone. "Just as I predicted…" He pressed upward on the bridge of the frame, raising the glasses into a comfortable position.
Tenzo could only grasp in shock, gawking at the man with the glasses on the top of academy roof. Iruka was still desperate for his students' demise, but at the same time, he looked at new enemy with a little grief. A remaining of his students were staring in horror at the new enemy. They were fear for their life, so they cowered behind Iruka. Iruka paid no mind, as he would make sure that he'd protect them with all his life.
Kakashi titled his head up, giving his new enemy a glare. "I should have known. It's you who was behind this attack. No way that the werewolf can make a move, especially when he made no move."
"Zahoor. That's my name." The man with the glasses calmly introduced himself to his opponents. "That werewolf before you guys go by the name of Raid."
Raid jumped on the top of tall wall, grinning down at Kakashi and Tenzo. "Hehe… The moment when he's in our presence, the fight is already over! The victory is automatically in our hands now."
Kakashi and Tenzo raised their eyebrows, and were unsure what Raid meant by that. What did Raid mean when he said that the victory was automatically in their hands now?
"The story is so beautiful, especially when it's well written." Zahoor spread his arms and titled his head up in a lovely fashion. "Especially top-selling books on my planet. Romance, actions, thriller, and more genre of the books. I love all these types of books! I feel so connected to these books. I feel like I'm the character in these books. That's my passion!"
"What… is he saying?" Kakashi puzzled. Recently, Zahoor was babbling too much about the book. Now he had no longer understood what this guy was talking about. He was completely lost. He was unsure of this conversation whether Zahoor was on the topic or not.
Zahoor looked down at Kakashi, as he grabbed the book from his large pouch on his right side. "My favorite book is called The Death. In the summary, 16 years old boy discovered his newest power. As the title said itself, his new power is called The Death. The Death is a power where he can pass a judgment on a said people. He was granted by that power, and he used it for his own selfish desire. By doing that, he made one decision. An immoral decision. It was the decision that affected his personality, and everyone around him, and the world. For him to be able to create his ideal world. For him to be able to achieve his dream by creating the world he desired. A peace.
"But in order to achieve the peace, he must do what he had to. Exterminating every single of criminals. No matter what the backgrounds… Even a little detail for being a criminals get punished like that. Thief, Sex Offender, Pedophile, Child Molester, Child Abuser, Wife Abuser, Rapist, and Murderer, and etc. They get punished. But their punishment is… death. For that, he was able to use his power to kill all criminals without him actually doing something physically to them. All you need is to look at their face and say their name, they will die instantly."
Tenzo began to find this very annoying, as he could not understand what Zahoor was trying to tell them. None of that made sense. "What's he talking about? He makes no sense, Kakashi-senpai."
"I don't know what he's talking about, either." Kakashi replied calmly, although frustrated with Zahoor's babbling. "He's delusional."
Zahoor continued, "But when I flipped the paper over to the last page, I learned that it was based on real story. It occurred three hundred years ago. Once I learned that it was based on real story, my quest to acquire the similar power begins… An ancient power. For two hundred years, I've been looking for the power for my desire needs. A power that I wanted to make the story into reality as much as possible.
"One day, when I was on way back home from the work, I found a black-covered book with a sort of special pen. But I thought it was just an ordinary book and pen. I was wrong. This book and pen were no ordinary. They were a special. But I did not know until I wrote one-shot story chapter. A one-shot story chapter about my most hated enemy. He was the most heartless person I had ever met in my whole life. Dahak, his name was. For more than hundred years, he had been bullied me my whole life. Yes, I never thought of killing myself, which it was truly shocking. Anyways, I wrote the story all about him. From the beginning of the chapter to the end of the chapter. I wrote down the first word, and it was Tomorrow. Tomorrow was the day that it became reality. Maybe 500 words of one-shot chapter. I'm venting myself through the kind of special book with a special pen. I wrote that Dahak would get in fight with some random man who happened to cross him. But he lost… which was the first time for him to lose in the fight. When he lost, his opponent just shot him and blew his head out. It was gruesome. After I wrote all about him, I felt better.
"But… next night, when I watched the news, I learned that Dahak was shot by a random man whom he lost against in the fight. I was shocked. Then I realized that the one-shot chapter story I wrote occurred exactly same thing in real life. Dahak actually got in fight, and lost for very first time, only to get a shot. News even stated that his head was blown. That moment when I realized that I discovered the power after two hundred years on the verge of a quest. I was so happy! That day was the prologue of my life.
"That's when I decided to create the story where I wanted the world to be. To be able to make the story into reality. To be able to make it out what I wanted to. For instance, if I wanted to make the wall materialized out of nowhere, just like I did with this one, I can… I've wrote so many books. I've completed books. But everything in my story became reality. It was the story of my life. Right now, I'm writing the book called The Invasion of Element. This story is all about the attack on Element on the task of finding the boy named Naruto. It's all about me. It's the story about me attacking every town out there on this planet. Of course, all victories were in my favor, but I'm assuring you this fight will be in my hand, too.
"Alas, welcome to my story. Congratulation, Hatake Kakashi, Tenzo, Umino Iruka! All of you… You're now characters in my story. But allow me to introduce myself one and last time. I'm Zahoor of Planet Xarus, The Book Killer of Sragos (City), and finally, but not least, The Author of Ashad (Country). And more importantly, I'm the captain of 9th division in Coola's squad. Raid over there is the lieutenant of 9th division in Coola's squad. Currently, you're in 21 chapters of The Invasion of Element. As for this chapter, I shall call this chapter Attack on Konoha!"
"Oh, there goes his introduction." Raid chuckled. "His usual introduction is really long. His introduction never ceases to amaze me. But this introduction, I believe, is by the longest introduction I've ever heard so far."
Tenzo sweat-dropped. "That… is the longest introduction I've ever heard."
With a big sigh, Kakashi looked up at Zahoor, who seemingly was so proud of his long introduction. He could only say five words. "Sorry, did you say something?"
"What?" growled Zahoor.
"You talk too much." Kakashi said bluntly. "You should pay attention to your surrounding when you're talking. You never know when it may save your life."
"Save my life?" Zahoor scoffed. "How noble of you to give me an advice. But in reality, your life is the one that needed to save."
He opened the book, flipping the paper until he reached the blank page, and grabbed his so-called special pen. However, after scribbling on the blank page, it did not take few seconds to complete, but it took less than a second! The speed of his writing was incredible. That speed was more than what most people expected. Usually, to finish a sentence with either pen or pencil on the paper, it would have taken about 10 to 15 seconds to complete. But he did it within less than a second.
Immediately after, the bazooka appeared out of nowhere next to him. It was just floating there, without having someone to handle it. It was on its own. Not even Zahoor needed to handle it. Zahoor loved to see the face on Kakashi, Tenzo, and Iruka, even children's face when they saw something like that. Confusion from Tenzo, grief from Iruka, fear from children, and stoic expression from Kakashi.
"Did you know… that I don't need to pull the trigger by using my hands? Did you know that it can fire on its own accord? Basically, you're fighting the bazooka. Treat him as if he's the living being that is your opponent!"
Tenzo literally had no idea what that weapon was. He began to wonder if it had a potential threat. Was it some kind of weapon that they could not possibly go against? After all, he had never seen this kind of weapon.
Neither did Iruka and Kakashi, but Kakashi, on the other hand, heard about a various of weapons from Sakura. But what kind of weapon was that? What was the bazooka again? What could it do?
"Haha! You are such an ignorant!" laughed Raid. He raised his fist and clenched his fist. "What're you gawking at the bazooka for?! Do you have any idea what it is capable of? It will explode once it launches. You're dead if it hits you for sure. You better run away! It will go…" He flickered his whole fingers as in a gesture for exploding. "BOOM!"
'Bazooka?' Kakashi suddenly remembered something that Sakura told her about the bazooka. She said something like this.
"Unlike the common firearm back on Earth, there's a powerful weapon called the bazooka. Apparently, it is a weapon that could launch the rocket-propelled projectile, which is only used by the military. It is mostly used in the war where it can blow the tank, army plane, or even a building. Sometimes, it can be also used against the group of enemy. It allowed for high-explosive anti-tank warheads to be delivered against armor, machine gun nests, and fortified bunkers at ranges beyond that of a standard thrown grenade or mine.
"Remember I explained about grenade and mine earlier? They were just like Kibaku Fuda (Paper Bomb), but the bazooka is bigger than that. It is equivalent of Bakusaidama (Exploding Sphere) and explosive tag ball. But except that it launches faster than the ones you throw. You have to make sure that you don't get caught in an explosion."
That's the lesson he learned from Sakura. He learned that lesson when he reunited with Team 7. One day he asked Team 7 all about the history of Earth. He wanted to learn the history of Earth, and what happened with Team 7 on Earth. So Sakura did explain all of that to him. He learned a lot from her. He was glad that the lesson he had was very useful. Without her, he would not have learned anything about the bazooka.
Anyways, right now, he figured that the bazooka was really dangerous. It was like an instant death for you, if you got hit by that. But good thing considering that Tenzo, Iruka, and the academy students were not within his range. There's one less he had to worry about.
"Now, now…" Zahoor brushed his hair from his forehead back to the comfortable position. "Are you slightly afraid? Or have you become so ignorant enough that you did not realize the threat of the bazooka? Or… Have you give up after realizing your mistake for defying Coola-sama once you have seen my technique? Heh… Either way, you're going to die. Even if you're going to apologize, it's too late."
Then the bazooka turned downward slowly until the aim of the bazooka turned at Kakashi. The center of red cross was right on Hatake Kakashi.
"Kakashi-senpai!" cried Tenzo. He too now realized the threat that lies in the bazooka, and that it was powerful weapon coming from the outer space. If Kakashi could not dodge this…
Iruka did not fail to hear what Raid just told them the power of the bazooka. He was sweating and gulped, as he began to concern about Kakashi's safety.
Couples of kids still cowered behind Iruka and still crying. A girl said that she was so scared. That was only natural. Once kids had seen the dangerous, they would be scary. Most of them were only 7 years and 8 years old. Only few of them were 12 years old who were about to graduate. But a bunch of 12 years did not cry, but still felt the fear.
'I knew it.' Kakashi thought. 'He intended to use that weapon to aim at me, in hoping of destroying me immediately.'
Once the bazooka was done aiming at Kakashi, it trigged itself, as it launched the rocket-propelled projectile towards Kakashi. But Kakashi did not move. He chose to remain at the same spot.
"Kakashi!" cried Tenzo and Iruka.
"That fool…" Raid merely laughed at Kakashi's ignorant.
Even when it rocketed at Kakashi, he did not move, even a barely. He just stood there and did nothing. Finally, it landed on its destination target and caused a small explosion that created large smoke.
BOOM!
Tenzo and Iruka were speechless to witness such an event where Kakashi took that rocket head-on. There was no way he could possibly survive! Raid smirked which was his usual expression.
All of them would watch the dust, as it still drifted away from the ground. It was not until the smoke finally became cleared. It turned out that there was a crater, and there was nowhere for Kakashi to be found.
They froze with the fear that clutched at their throat. Had Kakashi been vaporized? How powerful was that bazooka? They just realized that there's no way they could be match for that such weapon!
"Ha!" Raid looked down on both Tenzo and Iruka with laughter. "Look at you! Do you fear our captain's technique? Because you should be. Did you see that?! His technique vaporized him easily! How weak is he?! So pathetic!"
Tenzo looked on shock. How could Kakashi be gone so easily? For very first time, he felt fear. Fear of bazooka. A bazooka that easily vaporized Kakashi. On this planet, Elementians had no way of surviving this, since when that kind of weapon was created from other planets. "Kakashi!"
Iruka left his mouth open wide, as he was in shock. He was shocked that an elite jounin like Kakashi was defeated easily. 'Moreover, I have never seen the weapon like that. Is it capable of destroying even a building?'
For some reason, Zahoor's eyes moved around rapidly, apparently searching for someone else. 'I know what I just saw. Kakashi, you used yourself as a bait to trick me into thinking you were real. You used a shadow clone while I was talking too much, didn't you? But that was a failed attempted. Behind me!'
Suddenly, Kakashi jumped from tall tree to roof behind him and charged towards Zahoor with the kunai in his hand, intending to kill him from the behind. "Like I said, you talked too much. You should have watched out for your surrounding when you had a chance."
"WHAT?!" shocked Raid. He failed to understand how Kakashi could possibly escaped the rocket at that short range. Tenzo and Iruka was relieved to see that Kakashi was perfectly healthy and alive well.
However, Zahoor just merely smirked with amused chuckle. "Really?" He did not bother to look at his behind. He already knew what was going to happen.
Kakashi reached there and swiped his kunai around at the neck. But… When he swiped his kunai, he was somehow repelled back on the ground. It was almost as if the invisible barrier was built around Zahoor that was able to repel him back.
Zahoor turned around and chuckled at stunned Kakashi. "Shocked, huh? Well, it should not be surprise that you had a bit of shock there. After all, you had no idea what kind of power I possessed. It seems that I have to explain it to you a bit more. You see, everything just happened. From the small part of earthquake that killed the children over there to now… it was all in my story. That's why I knew what it's going to happen. Did I tell you that I'm able to create my story into reality? Every single moment here is all in my story! That includes you to create a clone when I was talking too much, and used it as an opportunity to trick me into thinking that you're real, but it was just a futile attempt. Even when you tried to assassinate me just now… I planned all of this. That's all in my story. That's why I just wrote the invisible barrier around me, so you can't get through me."
"That's cowardly tactics, Zahoor." Kakashi climbed to his feet, as he gave him a stoic glare.
Zahoor chuckled lightly, "Perhaps. But that won't be good story if you did kill me too easy. When the protagonist and antagonist collided, it tends to get tougher out there, because that's how it is supposed to be that way. In this story, I am the antagonist, because I know I did most immoral choice, but I prefer myself to be antagonist. Otherwise, it won't be fun if I'm the protagonist. However, in this story, it is the story that centers around me. No one knows who is the protagonist of this story. Who is the protagonist, indeed? Could it be Naruto? Could it be Tenzo? Could it be Iruka? Or even could it be you? In the end, I planned this book to be my final book. In other words, I'm going to die during this story. But whoever kills me will be the protagonist. But it won't happen on this chapter. Which means no one here will be able to kill me. See? I created the ideal world of mine by just writing the story!"
"Do you like to talk too much?" Kakashi asked.
Zahoor was offended, because he never liked anyone who asked him if he talked too much, but he resisted going off at him. Instead, he chuckled. "Of course. I do like talking. Talking is part of story. But of course. Did you know that if there's no such as social, there will be no story? A social is part of a story. A social is the responsible for creating new story. A social reinforced the idea that will keep the story alive. Inspiration also came from the idea. That's why I'm going to sell this book once I'm done with it. Once I die, this final book will be selling all across the universe. That's my dream."
Kakashi chose to say nothing, as he stared deep into Zahoor's yellow eyes. He thought Zahoor was annoying guy. If there's a way to kill him, he would do it now, so he could get rid of that nuisance guy.
Tenzo could not remain any longer, as he began to concern about Kakashi who would fight Zahoor with his unreal power. He decided to jump towards Zahoor in order to blindside attack him, only to be knocked back to the ground by Raid.
Raid landed with his arms folded and displayed his usual smirk. "You're not getting past me!" He held his head back with the loud laughter.
Tenzo groaned, as he slowly got up to his feet. He looked at Raid with a careful thoughtful. He needed to figure out what to do with Raid, and how to defeat Raid. He had seen what Raid could do. He was able to absorb chakra from Kakashi. It would mean he needed to be careful with this enemy.
Danzo's Root Base- Hinata and Sakura vs Rage
"ME KILL YOU NOW!" screamed Rage. His large green fist propelled forward, just as Hinata jumped to dodge the angry punch by an inch. The size of his large green fist just shattered the ground where Hinata left, breaking away many fragments of rubbles, flying across the place. Several of fragments flew past Hinata, which forced her to be on her guard.
Unfortunately, one of them just scratched a shy of her cheek, as it leaked a little bit of blood, much to her shock. She was so baffled that she had to fight a tough bastard, and it was her first time to fight Ki user now. She never thought it was going to be tough fight than standard ninjas with a chakra type.
She had never fought against the opponent with that type before in her life. She thought if she learned Ki, she would have easier fighting against the Ki user, but she was wrong. Instead, she struggled against Rage who seemed like Hulk-esque, which seemed he increased his strength and power every time his anger grew.
'Damn! If this keeps up like that, he may particularly become untouchable and unbeatable. I have to kill him before it happens,' thought Hinata, as she was ascending within her jumping. Thanks to her Ki power, unlike chakra, she was able to jump even beyond her regular height jumping. Thankfully, her jumping never reached the roof, as she began to descend.
Sakura stared in shock at Rage, who seemed to always get angry all the times. 'What's up with him? Why is he so mad? And why is he getting strong, as his anger's growing?'
Rage's face filled up with a pure red, as the stream puffed out of his nose, suddenly screaming, and glaring up at Hinata with a pure rage. "ME KILL YOU! ARGHHHHHH!" He screamed higher and higher, as he slammed his fist on the ground, causing a massive quake, although, only in this place, as more rubbles scattered away. This time, they never directed towards her.
However, Hinata noticed that Rage began to dig his both hands into the ground. 'What's he planning to do? What's he digging for?'
It turned out that the reason why he was digging the ground out, because so he could pick up the piece of large ground what seemed like a large boulder, lifting it up with ease, as he growled at Hinata.
"What?!" shocked Hinata. He was able to pick up the boulder and lift it up with no problem at all. There was no weight restriction on him. He carried it almost as if it was a mere rock to him.
"ME SMASH YOU NOW!" Rage hurled the heavy boulder at shocking Hinata, who seemed to do nothing and frozen in place.
"Hinata!" Sakura's yell snapped Hinata out of her little fear, but it was too late.
Hinata snapped too late, as the boulder slammed against her and rammed her along towards the wall of the underground. She took a quick glance behind her, realizing there was a wall behind her. 'Shit! I am going to—'
In between, the boulder collided with the wall, which ended up crushing Hinata, and she screamed in the pain. However, the boulder shattered easily, as soon as it 'crushed' Hinata into the wall.
'Oh, no! Is her training not good enough to fight someone with that strength like that?' astounded a concerned Sakura. She wanted to see the feat of Hinata's strength, but it seemed that the heiress of Hyuuga clan was not strong enough yet. Of course, training in just three days probably was not enough, even for Elementian's trait. She did not know how much gravity Hinata was training in. 'If only she was training in 100x gravity!'
For a moment there, Hinata was stuck in between the wall since crushing into it, but she was able to break free of the wall itself. Unforunately, her 'freedom of wall' did not last longer, as she was surprised by Rage's sudden leap.
"ARGHHHHH!" Rage screamed, as he was already jumping above her, as he began to descend towards her and clasped her hands together before raising them up.
Hinata widened her eyes at the sight of Rage's fists. She recalled the word of claw knuckles user. "If he smashes you, it's over."
That word echoed into her repeatedly. If she let his fists touch him, she's finished. But she now realized that there was no way for her to dodge it. The fists were closing on to her.
"Oh, cr—" That was all Hinata could stutter before the clasped fists slamming on the top of her head, knocking her down on the ground, but her body took a hard fall, along with the blood leaking out of her forehead.
Laying there on the ground, staring up at the ceiling, Hinata panted hyperventilation, due to witnessing the unbelievable power of Rage. 'This is… This is the power of Ki? Am I unable to evenly match against him, because I'm inexperience as Ki user, and in fighting against the Ki user? Heh… Not only that it's the power of Ki, it also seems that the Ki user have high pain tolerance. That's why I'm able to survive this. It's so amazing what the Ki can do! In pale comparison with the chakra, the Ki is way out of their league!' She raised and clenched her fist, as she stared at it. 'It's so amazing!'
Just when Sakura started to worry about Hinata's condition, as long as she was laying there, suddenly, Hinata began to laugh and laugh more.
"Haha!"
"Hinata?" shocked Sakura. She did not understand why Hinata was laughing when she took that much damage, including a hard fall. She regretted that she was unable to fight the Ki user when she was a useless right now. She lost her Ki powers, and she's already useless now. She shook that thought off her. She could not let her thinking that she was useless. 'I need to help her. But I am powerless against him! Until I get my power, please take all of my burden on your shoulder for a while, Hinata.'
"YOU LAUGH WHY?! YOU LAUGH ME?!" Rage roared, but Hinata continued to laugh, but began to reduce to small chuckle right now. But Rage was not satisfied, and his face turned red really badly. "STOP LAUGH! NOT FUNNY!"
"Heh…" Hinata pulled herself up to her feet, continuing to chuckle. "I'm laughing, not the fact that it's you grunting a lot because you have a brain of small peas, but the fact that I marvel at how incredible the Ki is!"
"WHAT SAY YOU?! WHAT THAT MEAN?!" Rage angrily demanded an answer from Hinata.
"That means you're dumb. That says a lot about you, doesn't it?" Hinata laughed and mocked at him, which fumed him further more.
"SHUT UP! YOU DIE NOW!" Rage roared, before charging blindly towards Hinata, who turned into a smug smirk, and already conjured up the chakra shaped of large guardian lion-shaped shrouds.
"Last time I used Hakke Rokujuyon Sho on you, it was futile. This time, I will proceed to combine Hakke Rokujuyon Sho like this, plus the Ki!" By simply molding her Ki into her large guardian lion-shaped shrouds, the Ki empowered and enlarged them a bit more. It began to emit the electrify around her large guardian lion-shaped shrouds, which coming from the Ki.
Rage still charged blindly, not bother to care what Hinata had a plan for him. He charged blindly out of pure anger, because of what Hinata called him. "ME NO DUMB!"
Hinata pulled her clenched fists down to her side, where they were shrouded by the large guardian lion-shaped, as she screamed, increasing her powers over many times. "Your tongue says otherwise." She scoffed, looking at his rush blindly with her still smug smirk. "You know what most people says about the people with the use of brute force? Brains over the brawns any days!"
With every steps forward, Rage stomped on the ground, cratering the ground on way to his target with every intention of murdering her for making fun of him. He was pissed off as hell. He was really mad at her. He felt the rage within his body for every moment of seeing Hinata's smug smirk.
Hinata's fists straightened forward, as her large guardian lion-shaped shrouds looked like they were growling fiercely at Rage, although life form did not exist in them. But they indeed did growling.
"AHHHHH!" Hinata screamed, as she powered up her blue aura, increase more spike of the aura. The rubbles from the ground began to levitate up around her, causing a strong earthquake only in the underground. It was almost as if it was raining rubbles upside-down, going up to the ceiling. However, the ceiling also began to collapse, thanks to the earthquake that Hinata created. So the rubbles from the ground collided with the ceiling's rubbles few times, but at least, the ceiling's rubbles were levitating when they reached the certain height. Her long dark purple hair tossed up, as the gust of wind blew away hard. Even when Rage charged blindly towards her, the gust of wind did not stop him, but it certainly did slow him down, although.
Due to the sudden earthquake, Sakura stumbled upon the floor, as she quickly got up to her knees with her hands to support her on the ground, looking up in shock at Hinata. Her neck-length hair swung back and forth, thanks to the strong wind that was caused by Hinata's untapped powers. "Incredible… She has gotten this far in just three days? By just training in the gravity room?"
Rage's anger still grew by the every second of him looking at her face, and what irritated him the most was when she showed her smug smirk at him. She treated him as if he was number one idiot in the world. She was mocking him! Despite being slow down by the gust of wind, he managed to use up all of his strength to force himself to speed up a bit. With each step, his feet stomped the ground harder, which created craters. The red veins crawled across his eyes towards his lens.
It was bloodthirsty. His growth of anger also increased his bloodthirsty, and it made him really want to slaughter Hinata right now for taking a mockery out of him.
Hinata's large guardian lion-shaped shrouds then opened their mouth, as they formed and charged up a blue energy sphere, as they were growing bigger and faster.
As soon as she formed the energy sphere out of her guardian lion-shaped shrouds' mouth, the wind around her increased, which managed to push Rage away little further. He was really furious, because he barely caught up to her, but now, he had to do it all over again.
Now, at this point, Sakura finally blocked her eyes from strong wind to prevent being blinded. She scanned the area thoroughly, but she somehow had a feeling that this underground was going to collapse due to some circumstances that just happened here lately and right now. She could only hope that Hinata would kill him for once and all, so they could leave the underground as soon as possible.
She then noticed the large pillar behind Hinata had already creaked and began to fall down towards her. "HINATA! WATCH OUT!" cried Sakura. She was too far away from Hinata. With her speed, she would not be able to save her, but only she could do was to watch her in horror.
But Hinata did not heed Sakura's warning, she remained and stood on the same spot, as she was charging up the energy sphere that formed out of guardian lion-shaped shrouds' mouth. Just right before the pillar could land on her, it shattered itself, scattering all over the place, thanks to the power of her aura.
Sakura sighed with relief. She was scared for a moment, because she actually had forgotten that Hinata just gained the newfound energy source called the Ki. Nothing simple thing could hurt the Ki users after all!
As Rage finally reached upon her, she stopped screaming and looked up at him, who already delivered a punch at her. "YOU DIE NOW!"
Hinata grinned maliciously. "Idiot!"
"SHUT UP!" roared Rage. He was about to pack a punch on Hinata that had a potential to end her life permanently. However, he never had a chance to land a punch, when both of her guardian lion-shaped shrouds finally fired spheres simultaneously right at his guts, knocking him away, although few feet away. Despite being knocked away, his temper got best of him, as he charged at her.
"Two blasts!" Hinata yelled. Following by it, she first fired his right one, and then quickly fired his left one, damaging Rage's eyes. "Four blasts!"
"AHHHHHHHHHHHHH!" Rage screamed, and clutched his eyes, shaking him head with agony. "MY EYES! MY EYES! MY EYEEEEEEEEEEES!"
As she pushed her palm forward with the guardian lion-shaped shrouds about to fire another one, Hinata suddenly felt her chakra and Ki drained out pretty faster, even after she fired only four blasts. 'That… Is that what I'm going to feel when I combined most difficult and dangerous technique along with the Ki. It's tougher than I thought. But I can't give up. I have to move forward and finish my Hakke Rokujuyon Sho with the Ki!'
Rage released his hands from his eyes and opened his eyes, only to see nothing but a pitch of black through his eyes. "AHHHHHHHHHHH! I CAN'T SEEEEEEE! YOU! YOU! YOU HUUUUUUURRRRRRRT MY EYEEEES! ARRGGGGGH! ME KILLL YOU NOWWWWW!"
Despite rendering to blindness, he screamed with all of his furious, and plus, his strength skyrocketed higher and higher much faster, not to mention his speed, he suddenly disappeared with the force on the ground he just left.
Even to Sakura's eyes which she was accustomed to seeing the high level speed when she possessed Ki even after losing the Ki power, she could not see Rage anywhere! 'What?! Impossible! There's a guy with the use of brute force can run that fast?!'
Rage appeared so fast in front of her and already propelled his fist towards her face. But she did not faze even once, as she completely put a focus into her technique. She quickly changed the direction of her fists to his chest, throwing a barrage of fists, releasing all four Ki blasts at once at him, forcing him to knock back.
"Eight blasts!"
Rage quickly went for the ground to slide backwards on his feet, ripping trails in the ground, until he came to full stop. Then he immediately leapt towards her with an amazing speed, but not only that he charged, but Hinata also charged towards him, colliding against each other, causing the shockwave around them. All of the sudden, Rage was sending sprawling, skipping and spinning across the ground very further away.
"Sixteen blasts!"
"What?!" shocked Sakura. She was speechless at this battle right now. She could not even see eight consecutive blasts to make it sixteen blasts. 'They're so fast! Furthermore, that's how fast I was when I had Ki at that level? No, wait… How strong is she now?'
Rage finally lost his mind and roared loudly, as he turned his front around to the ground and smashed the ground, breaking the ground that turned into many piece of rubbles, as they split up away, assuming he stopped himself from knockback.
"DAAAAAAAAAAAAMMMMMMMMN YOOOOOOOOOOU! I SOOOOO MAAAAAAAAD NOOOOOOW!" He screamed, as the volume of his pitch became higher and higher, which enough for Sakura to cringe and covered her ears. Hinata, on other hand, had to deal with high-pitch, as she continued to charge towards him for her final consecutive blasts.
It would appear that Rage indeed did lose his mind… entirely. Either, he lost his mind, or he was actually blind, thanks to Hinata's quick retaliate earlier. He literally fired a barrage of Ki blasts aimlessly, with his back facing Hinata behind.
Boom! Boom! Boom! Boom! Boom!
He continued to fire a barrage of Ki blasts at the walls, pillars, and ceiling, which destroyed every single of them. "DIE! DIE! DIE! DIE! DIE! DIEEEEEE!" There were two pillars at the path of his relentless Ki blasts, which was destroyed and fell down. Because there was a chaos inside the underground, the ceiling began to fall down constantly. Some of large boulders also started to fall down. That's what caused Sakura to worry.
Even worse, his temper was what led him to countless firing the Ki blasts, even if he assumed she should be dead, he would still fire blasts, because he was simply really so mad.
Boom! Boom! Boom! Boom! Boom!
"Like I said, you have a brain of small peas!" Hinata screamed, already reaching in behind him. She pushed her both palms forward. "Die, you piece of shit!"
With her final consecutive blasts, she successfully fired her sixteen consecutive blasts to make it thirty-two blasts. But in the final blast, she did not fire a blast from point-blank range, she simply slammed her palm onto Rage's guts with the Ki already formed into her guardian lion-shaped shroud. "Thirty-two!"
That sent her flying away against the wall, but at that moment, he was still alive when he shot Hinata a hard glare and his last words were "YOU BIT—" before getting caught up in a large explosion.
BOOOOOOOOOOOOM!
The irony was that Rage called her bitch the first time he met her, and now, he almost called her bitch the very last time before his death.
Anyways, Hinata hurried over to Sakura's side, while it was getting worse here in the underground, as the ceiling started to fall down a lot quicker now. Even worse, there was a lot of boulders falling down as well.
"Shit! We have to get out of this!" Hinata said. Sakura agreed with her, as they immediately went back to outside the way they came in before. They saw no escape route. They have tried the one they went in, but there was a large boulder that blocked the outside. They realized they were stranded inside the underground. "Damn! There's no escape! We're stuck here!"
"Calm down!" Sakura reassured her, staring at the boulder that blocked the way out. "This boulder doesn't look like it came from the ceiling. It looks like it's coming from the outside, which is made of regular large-size rock, which means…" She hissed. She really hated that man. That bastard who killed her parents, and butchered her parents up with no remorse!
Hinata scowled. "He's still asshole, even in his death! Looks like he had the leverage from the beginning."
Sakura shook her head and chuckled. "No, he may think he had the leverage, but it's us who had the leverage whole times here."
Hinata looked at Sakura, as if she grew second head now. "What? What do you mean?"
"Well, he deserved to die after what he did to my parents. That's why I'm so proud of what I've done." Sakura said darkly, but she changed her expression to smile very quick, certainly did not want Hinata to annoy her with the whole 'no-kill, except Hinata' bullshit. "What he doesn't realize is what the Ki can do. Only that you need to concentrate your Ki into your hand and destroy it with your Ki! Only a small piece of Ki will do!"
Hinata nodded, "All right." She raised her hand at the boulder that blocked the way out. She concentrated some of her Ki into her hand, just as Sakura instructed her to. However, she lost her concentration into her Ki, when several pieces of rubbles fell down from the ceiling.
"If we don't hurry, we will die here!" Sakura warned her with the slight of worry in her eyes.
Hinata scowled, "I know! You don't need to tell me that!" She then formed a small energy sphere of Ki from her hand, and put her hand forward at the boulder.
"Hey." New voice suddenly surprised them, as they quickly turned around on their guard, only to see that there was Root survivor, who already weaved hand signs and put her middle and index fingers up below her chin.
Even with the mask, it was obvious that she was a female, because of her most notably breasts and her long hair. Never mind the gender, she faced Sakura and Hinata, knowing that Hinata aimed her energy sphere at her.
"So there's survivor, after all!" Hinata scowled. "I should have known that one of you would hide in a place somewhere."
"What do you want?" demanded Sakura, glaring at her.
"The following instruction given by Danzo: Should I die, should Root be wiped out, and should two girls called Sakura and Hinata attempted to escape, you will reveal yourself and dispose of them immediately," said Root survivor monotony.
Hinata scowled, finding this Root's presence very annoying. "Well, what can you do against us when you're outnumbered one to two, and I can kill you anytime now? Surely, you've seen what my Ki can do, since you idiot hid watching us fighting against Rage!"
"This is precisely why I've placed genjutsu all over the place inside."
"What are you talking about?" Hinata asked, not getting what this Root survivor was saying. She looked like she realized it, and then closed her eyes, chuckling. "Heh…" She opened her eyes again. "I get it. You realize the power of my newfound Ki, so you are afraid to face me. That's why you're ranting nonsense with that genjutsu. My Byakugan can detect genjutsu, so I can tell you're lying. Cut the crap and face your death bravely!"
"No, you don't understand. I'm a genjutsu user. It's genjutsu that no one, not even Hyuuga or Uchiha, can detect them, but only myself."
Hinata twitched her eyes in annoyance. She could kill her anytime by just firing the blast at her, but she could not. "Really? What proof do you have? No one, not even Hyuuga, can detect them? Don't be ridiculous! No one can fool my eyes!"
"If you're not going to kill her, I will do it myself." Sakura said, much to her own annoyance, giving Hinata a 'kill her already' looking.
"No, you're a Haruno." Hinata growled. "You can kill no one until you get your treatment!"
'This bitch! Who does she think she is? What does this have to do with a Haruno?' Sakura glared at Hinata, clenching her fist, making a growl inside her throat. 'Maybe she uses this as an excuse to kill them for herself! But…' She looked back at the Root survivor, and picked up her kunai. 'I won't let you have an advantage of me! I kill everyone, whoever I want to kill. No one can stop me, not even her! I can prove to her that nothing will happen to me if I kill this survivor right now!'
KILL! KILL! KILL!
For some reason, a dark thought kept echoing into her mind. She could not resist the dark thought, as she finally gave in and charged towards the Root survivor with the intention of killing her by using the kunai. She thought of slit her throat with that kunai, making sure that she would bleed out dying.
"Sakura!" Hinata cried. "Dammit! Stop it!" She dispelled her energy sphere that she intended to kill the survivor, and started chasing Sakura, but she apparently forgot about killing the survivor, because she worried more about Sakura than worrying about how this survivor could have possible of tricking Hyuuga's eyes.
"You should have listened to this Hyuuga heiress. Now this will be your downfall." The Root survivor said. "Release!"
Suddenly, as soon as she said 'release', there were paper bombs that filled the entire underground. Sakura and Hinata stopped running, and scanned the area in shock. Even on the boulder, and every single of them surrounded whole of them. There was too many to count. But with endless count of paper bombs inside, they had the potential to destroy the whole underground.
"What?!" shocked Sakura. She looked around, realizing there was no way to escape. They were surrounded by too many paper bombs. She looked down at the ground, which there was a paper bomb nearby her feet. She gulped, as she realized that she could have trigger the bomb, have she continue to step on it right after the release. She was so lucky that she stopped as soon as the Root survivor said 'release'.
'Impossible!' Hinata stared in shock at the genjutsu user, who managed to fool her eyes into thinking there was no genjutsu around here. 'There's no genjutsu that can trick my eyes! I never saw paper bombs around here, but why now when she released it?! What kind of genjutsu is that?!'
"This is the arrogance of Hyuuga, the one that you inherited, Hyuuga heiress." The Root survivor mocked Hinata, who was scowling at her. "As I said, I'm an expert genjutsu user. The genjutsu that cannot be detected by everyone, not even Hyuuga or Uchiha, but myself. And I intend to take you down along with me."
Hinata scowled. "You coward! Using the paper bomb to take us down, knowing that you can't take me down yourself!"
"It's called tactics. Brain over the brawn, right?" The Root survivor used Hinata's earlier line that was used against Rage to mock her. Her taunting worked well when Hinata began to irritate. Waste no time, she activated all of these paper bombs by just saying "KAI!" These paper bombs all over the place immediately burned off quickly, and all exploded at once.
BOOOOOOOOOOOOOM!
An explosion blew up entire underground that bellowed up the giant cloud of flame, along with black smoke streaming out.
