Chapter 111: Battle of Uchiha Part 2

Age 763, December 1- Obito's Dimension- Fayre vs Obito

"REMOVE THAT DISGUST FORM OF MY BROTHER IMMEDIATELY!" A young lad shouted within rage resided in his body. Wielding twin swords, raising one of his swords, leapt towards the man that took the form of his brother.

What he contained was a rage that was about to explode. His furious eyes stared into his so-called 'brother" stoic eyes whom claimed to be Uchiha Obito, who was dead for years. All of the sudden, this masked man looked like Obito, but with most notable scarred on his right face. That man was no longer 12 years old. He was now into his 30s, the same age as Kakashi whom he swore to kill.

That made him so furious. He never had been this furious before. He refused to accept that the man before his eyes was indeed his older brother, Uchiha Obito!

"DON'T SCREW AROUND WITH ME!" Fayre roared. When he finally came down towards Fayre, he raised one of his sword, so he could swing horizontally at his 'brother', only to miss. Obito side-stepped, which caused Fayre to slip past him.

"I told you…" Obito muttered.

However, Fayre caught himself from falling, as he whirled around and already swung his other sword at Obito, intending to take his head off, only to miss because his older brother ducked his head down without even bother to look behind.

"….that…" Obito continued.

After unable to remove Obito's head, Fayre's body still was spinning around, so he took full 360 round spin, raising his left leg up to deliver upward kick, but only went through the air, as his brother merely titled his head backward.

"…I am…"

However, Fayre did not stop there. He continued to deliver his next attack. By kicking upward, he already made his motion in process, as he was about to backflip. While he was at it, he also threw his right leg up to kick his opponent right in the face.

Obito simply raised his arms to cross his face, grunting. That hurt a bit, but he had to deal with it. He could see that Fayre was scowling, kicked his leg onto his cross arms to complete his backflip.

Once Fayre landed his feet on the ground, he immediately lunged towards his older brother to stab him with one of his sword, only to be dodged and also caught in the hand by Obito.

"Uchiha Obito!" Obito announced his own name in front of his younger brother. He noticed that Fayre widened his eyes at his announce, but it turned into mixed reaction of shock and angry at the same time. He knew that Fayre knew he was Uchiha Obito, but chose not to admit it. Obito held his hand firmly when Fayre attempted to shook it off.

"Get off my hand!" demanded Fayre, growling in his tone. It was hard to tell what kind of tone he used against Obito. But either way, he got his feeling mixed up right now.

"Gladly." Obito said coldly. His fist smashed into his young brother's solar plexus much harder.

"Argh!" Fayre's body jerked away, yet did not knock away due to his brother's firm hold on his hand.

Fayre groaned, shaking too much in his body. He did not expect Obito to do that to him. But that pained him so badly. He shut his one eye down, slowly looking up at his opponent who pulled his fist. His tears started to come off from his eyes something that he hadn't have in long time, as he could not believe that his older brother was willing to hurt him. "Obito-niisan…"

His face met with the fist connected, nearly smashing his face bloody, as his body finally jerked away from Obito, rolling onto the ground. He pushed up little groggily, rubbing blood off his mouth and stared shockingly at his own blood that shredded by his own brother. Frowning, he slowly climbed up to his feet, panting and staring at his brother.

'No, he can't be my brother. He died in the war. There's no way he's still alive!' thought Fayre. No matter how he looked at this man before his eyes, it's Obito-niisan. He kept denying that this man was indeed his brother, but somewhere in his feeling, he's Obito-niisan. He kept telling himself that Obito was dead, but his heart told him that it was his brother.

He did not know what to think anymore. His feelings were mixed, as he was unable to tell which his feelings were true.

Shock? He was shocked that the masked man was indeed his brother, Uchiha Obito, and also he's shocked that Obito was still alive.

Happy? He was happy to see that Obito was still alive. He wanted to hug his brother so much and tell him how much he missed him after all these years believing that he was dead.

Angry? He was angry that Obito never came back to the village after all he was alive. That's why he started denying the fact that this man was his brother.

Disappoint? Yes, he was disappointed in Obito that he, of all people, chose that path. What changed Obito? Why him? Why joined criminal organization for the purpose to acquire all nine jinichuriki to extract their biju? Why joined criminal organization when he could return to Konoha and become Hokage, as his goal was always meant to be. Did he throw out his goal to become the Hokage?

Upset? He started to upset that Obito was not the same he used to be. Now his brother was hurting him more than everyone could have in the past. His brother now treated him like an enemy.

His long train of thoughts derailed when he received a handful of hard punch to the face, stumbling back. He tried to come back, but he received yet another punch to the face before also receiving hook punch to his cheekbones. He noticed that Obito delivered another fist, so he crossed his swords in front of his face to defend himself. Instead, Obito's fist got under the cross arm and gave a blow into the guts, doubled Fayre up. Few amounts of saliva forcefully came out of his mouth, due to huge deal of damage done to his guts before receiving a roundhouse kick to the face, lurching away.

Fayre hissed, caught his hands on the ground, jumping away and spinning around until he was at vertical, only to see Obito appeared in front of him on mid-air. 'What!?' His jaws connected with an uppercut hook by his older brother, staggering upward further.

He stopped himself from knocking away further, as he saw that Obito landed on the surface and immediately jumped towards him, so he grabbed a several of shuriken from his pouch and threw all of them at once towards his older brother.

But Obito substituted into the log.

"Kawarimi no Jutsu?! Damn it!" Fayre cursed. He cursed more when he noticed Obito reappeared behind him. He swiftly swung one of his sword around behind him, but only to have his hand kicked, as well as disarming his attacked sword, as it flew out of his hand. 'Dammit! Not again! I'm disarmed on one sword again!'

Obito axe kicked him down, sending him back onto the ground. Fayre's body skidded away onto the ground, barely onto the edge of the rectangle prism, as Obito landed with the sword in his right hand, the one that he disarmed Fayre earlier.

Fayre, once again, was spacing out, as he was just lying on the floor, staring at the endless void of this dimension. He was pretty upset after finding out that his brother was still alive, and yet was willing to hurt him. He shook his head, growling. He refused to believe that this man was his brother before his eyes, yet his heart somehow told him that it was Obito.

'Why does my feeling keep telling me that that man is my brother, even though he was dead long times ago?' he thought.

"That's because you're in denial." Erize said in his mindscape.

'I don't remember I gave you a permission to speak! Shut up and leave me alone, you monkey scum!' scowled Fayre. Erize's mouth still disgusted him. How he hated her voice because her voice is like curse to him. He could have heard her foul breath. He could not wait to get rid of Erize, the one that he refused to call Mom.

"How rude! I am not your slave, and you have no right to control me! If you're not my son, I'd not be healing you at all! Besides, are you really that dense? You're in denial and you know it. You know he's Uchiha Obito, but you won't admit it because you know you're going to fight him to death."

'This is bullshit! Why do I have to fight him to death?! Has my life gone to waste? My obsession with killing Kakashi for nothing?! For what?! If he's still alive, then have I been wrong my whole life? That Kakashi never killed him to obtain the Sharingan? Instead, my brother gave Kakashi a Sharingan before his supposedly death. But he never died, and why didn't he RETURN?! This is so bullshit!'

"Yeah, this is reality. Can't always go your way. Can't have everything you wanted. He is not the same guy you know anymore. He's different guy. No matter what words you're going to use against him, he looks like he won't listen to you, even if you're his brother. Just kill him and be done with it."

Fayre widened his eyes. Did he just heard what Erize said to him something that's really impossible to achieve? 'Kill him?! Don't be ridiculous! There's no way I am going to kill my brother! This can't be happening!'

"However, as much as I suspect it, you're blinded by your hatred and thirst for vengeance. For those who have generated so much hatred and vengeance, it will only lead you to your death one day." He remembered this quote.

Fayre placed his hand on his forehead, as he started to leak tears from his eyes, sniffing. 'Dammit! As much as I hated to admit, but Itachi is right. I was blinded by my hatred and thirst for vengeance. Look at what happened to me. It may lead me to my death because of my own hatred and thirst for vengeance. Also, Itachi said something about the Curse of Hatred to me a while ago.'

"Did you know that the Uchiha have the Curse of Hatred? We, the Uchiha, are very devoted to love and friendship, despite our usual concealment of affectionate traits. But when our affection is lost, our love turns into pure hatred, leaving us inclined to do anything and everything in our power to achieve our goals and show our own superiority, regardless of the consequences and repercussions of our actions. The more you desire power, the more corrupted you are. The despair of these experiences have caused a manifestation of unique chakra within an Uchiha's brain, impacting the optic nerves and creating the Sharingan. In other words, you are a victim of the Curse of Hatred and if you continue, you won't survive much longer, Fayre-sensei."

'Now because I was blinded by my hatred and thirst for vengeance, I always thought Kakashi was the one who killed Obito-niisan, because the fact that he possessed Obito's Sharingan. Until now, I always hated Kakashi, for what he did to Obito. I thought he killed him. But… I am wrong… Now I just realized I traumatized Kakashi even further after I faked my own death, managed to have him think he killed me. I faked my death against him because I thought I could teach him a lesson. I taught wrong person a lesson!

'I always know that we, the Uchiha, have the Curse of Hatred. When I see Obito, I always thought he'd be one of few Uchiha to break the Curse of Hatred, since, you know, he was always cheerful and loud. No Uchiha would have that personality. But here he is. Just like most Uchiha! He must have the Curse of Hatred, too. What caused him to change? I HAVE TO KNOW!"

"OH, SHUT UP!" Erize's voice yelled, seemingly annoyed. "How long are you going to rant?! Your ranting is not going to help you to defeat your brother! You won't survive like that. He's going to kill you. Brother or not… If you won't kill him, then he will! What pathetic son you are!"

'I can't kill him… He's my brother. I'm not going to take the life of my brother out.'

"Then you're not going to win the fight. He'll kill you if you're not going to kill him… Here he comes! He's ready to kill you!"

Fayre snapped his eyes open, noticing Obito leapt down at him with the sword in his hand, lunging forward. He widened his eyes, feared for his life. He hurriedly scrambled his hand to something, until he felt something on his hand, so he immediately grabbed it and thrust his sword to parry his brother.

He widened his eyes, staring in shock at Obito's emotionless eyes. 'H-He… He's really trying to kill me! He's going to kill his own brother! Why?!"

"Because you're getting in his way to extract jinichuriki in order to achieve his goal."

'But still… He has the gall to kill me, yet I don't have it!' Fayre could felt his body tremble, because he had to fight his own brother to death. He knew he could not do it. He groaned, as Obito tried so hard to push, but he held him back somehow. He bit his lips, very upsetting right now. "…Why…?"

Obito curled his eyebrows. He was not sure what Fayre meant by 'why'.

"Why?!" Fayre casted his eyes downward and sniffed, clenching his free hand into fist. "Why are you like that now?! Why did you not return to Konoha, and become the Hokage like you always wanted to?! And why are you in criminal organization, the Akatsuki?! Why are you trying to KILL me?! I AM YOUR BROTHER!"

Obito closed his eyes and sighed, before opening his eyes, glaring at Fayre. "It could be same said about you. I always thought you were dead for years. When I found out that you're still alive, and you're siding with them, I was upset. Besides, why are you joining criminal organization? Why are you siding with Coola who is going to destroy our planet?"

"Because I have my reason! Would you say no if they're threatening to destroy our planet if you won't join them?!"

"What?!"

Fayre pointed his finger at Obito, scowling. "But you… you're different. You joined the criminal organization of your own will! If they threatened you, you will not join them no matter what, because they don't have powers to destroy the planet! Coola does. He does have a power to destroy the planet. He demonstrated that to me when I first met him during the day of Kyuubi attack!"

Obito sighed. "I really thought I was going to die. I did. That's why I gave one of my Sharingan to Kakashi as a present for his promotion."

Fayre scowled at Obito's gift to Kakashi. "Damn! You should not have done that! He's not an Uchiha!"

"I gave my Sharingan to Kakashi because he earned it and I thought my life was about to end. That's why I gave it to him before I 'passed away'. But allow me to tell you the event of Third Shinobi World War. I will tell you every details… everything started from Rin's capture…"

Flashback Began- Third Shinobi World War

Somewhere in the forest, along with the river, Kakashi, Rin, and Obito were walking on the surface of the river. Unknown to them, a Iwa shinobi was hiding behind the rock, smirking. "Hey… Mahiru went out for surveillance and hasn't come back. You don't think those young brats killed him, do you?"

Other Iwa shinobi stick his head, watching the team strolling on the river. Then he chuckled evilly. "Well then, let's ask them." He weaved a single hand up. "Meisaigakure no Jutsu… (Camouflage Jutsu)"

His body started to fade away, almost as if he was invisible right now.

Kakashi suddenly stopped, looking up, and sniffed around. He raised his fist up, indicating that it's signal to stop his teammates. Obito and Rin knew it, and immediately went on their guard.

Bunch of sticks that made out of these forests flew out of nowhere towards them.

"Katon: Gokakyu no Jutsu!" Obito placed his fingers in front of his mouth and sucked his breathe into his mouth before launching a continuous flame-thrower around, destroying every single of them, which promptly caused Kakashi and Rin to guard themselves from the flame-thrower, as well as the burned sticks that fell into the river.

They were watching these large sticks on the river, but what they did not know is that the camouflage man crept towards Rin slowly. The large stick suddenly cracked, as the Iwa shinobi with afro jumped out of the river, somehow kicking up the air to jump again. Kakashi quickly jumped after the enemy, as they constantly collided each other every time them hopped off the stick-like trees.

They heard Rin's brief scream, as Obito quickly looked around, and Kakashi landed behind him, only to find the large man held unconscious Rin in his arm. "We're taking this one."

Obito scowled.

Kakashi widened his eyes, and tried to reach his hand at her. "Wait!" They suddenly disappeared out of puff of smoke.

"Dammit!" Obito immediately ran after them, but was stopped by Kakashi's yelling.

"Obito! Don't go after them!"

Obito looked over his shoulder at Kakashi at disbelief. "What?!" Then he scowled, walking to face Kakashi. "Do you realize what you just said?!"

"Yeah…" Kakashi casted his eyes downward before staring into Obito's angry eyes again with his emotionless eyes. "The two of us will continue this mission."

"And Rin?!" Obito shocked angrily. "What about Rin?!"

"Rin comes later. The enemy wants to find out what we're up to. They won't kill her right away. And luckily, Rin is a Medical Ninja. So even if she ends up a prisoner of war, she'll probably be treated cordially… On the condition that she treat the wounded on their side. The problem is if the enemy learns about our strategy. If they obtain the information, no doubt, they'll immediately increase the security on the bridge. That will make our mission much more difficult."

Obito did not like this a bit. He could not believe that Kakashi was willing to abandon Rin just for the sake of mission. "You're assuming Rin's safety under baseless assumptions!" He pointed his finger angrily at the half-masked boy. "What if those guys just now are lackeys who don't give a damn?! Right now, saving Rin takes priority over the mission!"

No matter what Obito said to him, Kakashi was stubborn kid who chose mission over anything else first. "A ninja… must sacrifice a comrade in order to carry out a mission. That is the rule. If we fail in this mission, it is possible that the war will be prolonged and many more lives will be sacrificed."

"That's just an assumption! And for something like that, you're willing to simply abandon a comrade who's been through life and death with you?! When you and I were wounded, Rin saved our lives with her Medical Ninjutsu! If she hadn't been there, we'd both be dead by now!"

"That was Rin's duty." Kakashi said coldly, only to receive a swift punch to his face, falling down to the ground on his back.

"I don't like you, after all!" yelled Obito.

Kakashi gave Obito a cold stare. "I don't care. I'm the captain. You will obey me." He rubbed his face to relieve the pain he received the swift punch from Obito earlier. "Whatever the situation, in order to keep the team together, one person gives the orders. That is why we have the rule that states that members must obey the team captain. Obito, you're not strong. That is why I was chosen as captain of this team."

Obito grabbed Kakashi's leather straps and pulled him up to meet his eyes with Kakashi's. "Then why won't you try to save Rin?!" He moved his head closer to Kakashi's. "As captain, you're strong. Strong enough to save your comrades, right?!"

Once again, Kakashi replied coldly and uncaring. "If you give in to your emotions even for a moment and fail your mission, you will regret it later. That is why our code of conduct forbids any emotional feelings. You should know that."

Obito shut his eyes down, gritting his teeth. "Rin… Rin was concerned about your well-being. That's why she gave you that medkit." He opened his eyes, glaring at him. "She even sewed on a protective amulet inside it!"

"The medkit and Medicial Ninjutsu are superb systems developed by the Konohagakure in order to increase the success rate of our missions. But I told you yesterday, didn't I?" Kakashi reminded him, which Obito widened his eyes. "'Getting something useless would only get in the way.'"

Obito frowned. "Something useless?"

Kakashi nodded. "To carry out his mission, useful tools are essential to a ninja. Something like emotions are useless."

Obito could not believe it! He slowly pulled Kakashi's leather strap away further from him, as he stared in shock at him. Did Kakashi just say that his missions were more important than saving the comrade, and that emotions were getting in the way?

"Are you serious…?!" Obito asked shockingly. He was hoping that Kakashi would say he was kidding, but he seriously doubted that. Knowing him, Kakashi would say something joking like that. He narrowed his eyes, growling more. "Do you seriously believe that?!"

Kakashi frowned, looking away from him for a moment, as he remembered how his Father died simply because he abandoned mission just to save his comrade. His Father committed suicide shortly after that, because everyone was calling him a failure ninja, even his own comrade whom he saved.

Kakashi looked back at Obito again, once again, with his emotionless stares. "Yeah… I do…"

Obito scowled. "Forget it. You and I have been like water and oil from the start. I'm going to rescue Rin!" He slowly let leather strap go of Kakashi, and turned his back on Kakashi to walk away, very determined to save his crush.

"You don't understand anything…!" Kakashi warned him. "Not about what happens if you break the rules…"

Obito stopped, but not glancing even one at his longtime rival. "I believe that the White Fang was a true hero…" Kakashi widened his eyes, as the wind bellowed over them. "Sure in the world of ninja, those who break the rules and regulations are regarded as scum… But…"

He glared over his shoulder at the shocked Kakashi. "…those who abandon their comrades… are worse than scum!" That words stung him a lot, as he widened his eyes even more. "I'm going to be trash anyway, so I choose to break the rules. And if that doesn't make me a true ninja…"

He turned his head back to his front, as he walked away from Kakashi again. "Then I'll crush this so-called 'ninja'!"

Kakashi sighed, looked like he did not care in the world. He turned around, walking away. Obito and he were walking from each other. Kakashi was still determined to finish the mission, while Obito was very determined to save Rin by himself.

Later- Near the Cave

Obito landed on the branch of the last tree in the forest near the cave. 'I found them…' He gulped. 'Calm down… I can do this!' He patted his face few times to calm himself down.

He nervously grabbed the kunai from his pouch and held up, but his hands were shaking so hard. "All right… Here I go!" Despite that, he found a courage to face them.

"Go where?" New voice asked behind him, startling him.

Fear came across his face, as he looked around, as the same large man who took Rin away tried to stab him with the kunai.

Just before Iwagakure shinobi could deliver a fatal blow to Obito, Kakashi sliced him down with his small blade, giving him a cold look. Iwagakure shinobi looked on shock, as he was knocked away from the branch with the blood spilling, while Obito gasped in shock.

Kakashi landed on his knee, at the same time Iwagakure shinobi landed on other branch across from Kakashi and Obito.

Obito was baffled at Kakashi's recent action. "K-Kakashi… How come you're…?!"

"Well, I can't leave this up to a crybaby ninja like you, can I?" Kakashi said coldly, glancing over his shoulder at astounded Obito.

"Kakashi…"

Iwagakure shinobi stood up, and glared at Kakashi, looking shocked a bit. "That silver-white hair and Hakko Chakura To (White Chakra Blade)…! Don't tell me you're… the 'White Fang' of the Leaf?!"

Kakashi raised his white blade, still glaring at Iwagakure shinobi. "This is my father's keepsake.

Something that Kakashi just said reminded Obito something about having the tool was important than having emotions. 'Kakashi… you…'

Iwagakure shinobi chuckled, "I see… You're the White Fang's kid…" Then he placed his single index and middle fingers together up and grinned evilly. "Then there's no need to be afraid of you." After that, he suddenly became invisible.

Obito shocked, as he looked around in attempt to find the Iwagakure shinobi.

"I thought so. The scent has been completely erased. We'll have to locate him by the slightest movement and noise he makes." Kakashi explained it to Obito.

"Wh-Where is he?" asked Obito, frequently glancing around.

Suddenly, Kakashi heard the crack on the branch and quickly turned around. "Obito, behind you!" He rushed towards the Iwagakure shinobi, only to have his left eye sliced up, causing the blood to spill. It caused him to fall back, as he clutched his left eye. "My eye…!"

"Kakashi!" cried Obito.

Kakashi writhed in agony a bit, as seeing that his left eye was wounded. Right now, he was suffering the large wound that Iwagakure shinobi just inflicted on his left eye.

Obito panicked and kneeled, helping Kakashi to sit up. "Hey, Kakashi! Are you all right?!"

From the above, an invisible man left some footprints on the branch and watched them down. 'Even if he's just a kid, it doesn't hurt to be cautious… I'll take it nice and slow.'

Kakashi's left eye kept bleeding, even his left hand was covered with the blood. "Our enemy… He's good… He threw away the kunai knife stained with the smell of my blood." He was shaking up with the loss of his left eye.

Obito just started to show tears in his eyes through the goggle.

Kakashi removed his left hand from his left eye, revealing the new scar across his left eye. A part of his mouth-covered mask cut from his left eye side. "Don't tell me you got dust in your eye again? A ninja shouldn't cry… I'm not dead yet." Obito moved his goggles to his forehead, wiping the tears off his eyes. "Stay focused!"

Obito remembered that Minato was giving him a lecture something that it was impossible that dust could get into his eyes, when he had goggles on, and that Obito should be so strong.

Obito managed to stop the tears into his eyes. 'I'm just talk… Always being saved by others…' He closed his eyes, as he was trying to prevent the tears from going out again. 'Just a big-mouthed loser… But…'

Back then, it was before he ran off to search for Rin, he gave some lecture to Kakashi who was willing to abandon Rin just for the sake of mission. He believed that the White Fang was a true hero. He gave out his famous quote to Kakashi as well.

'Those who abandon their comrades… are worse than scum!'- Uchiha Obito.

Once Obito calmed down, he stood up and his face became determined. 'I don't want those words to be just empty talk!'

However, unknown to them, an invisible man sneaked up and got behind Obito. 'Die!' He drew the kunai and lunged towards Obito.

But…

Obito suddenly turned around and stabbed him in his wounded chest, with his newfound Sharingan eyes, glaring at his enemy.

Iwagakure shinobi's chest spilled the blood and coughed up the blood, gasping in shock. 'Wh-Why…? There's no way you can see…'

Kakashi widened his right eye in shock. 'Obito… You…!'

Iwagakure shinobi noticed the red eyes with two commas in Obito's eyes. "Wh-What is… that eye…?" His eyes rolled up, as he collapsed down, dead.

"This time… I'll protect my comrade!" declared Obito. He put his kunai back in his pouch, and stood up with big sigh.

Kakashi still looked shock. "Obito… That eye of yours…"

Obito just realized, as he stared at his hands. "Yeah… I guess this is the Sharingan. I can now see the movement and flow of chakra."

Kakashi groaned in the pain, as he clutched the left side of his face, thanks to new wounded on his left eye.

New Sharingan user bent down, and gently patted Kakashi's back. "Are you all right, Kakashi?!"

"Yeah…" Kakashi replied. "Looks like I lost my left eye…" He grabbed the box from his pouch. "…but I have the kit Rin gave me. I can use it for emergency first-aid. We're going to save Rin immediately!"

"Okay!"

Inside the Cave

Rin was being captured by Iwagakure shinobi. She was tied up around his waist with her hands behind, but she did not look like she was okay. She just stared blankly.

Iwagakure shinobi grabbed her hair up, so he could look into her and chuckled evilly. "You're surprisingly stubborn."

Just then, Kakashi and Obito jumped into the cave and landed, staring at the Iwagakure shinobi. Kakashi had the bandage wrapped around his head onto his left eye and Obito's goggles somehow disappeared from his head.

Iwagakure shinobi scoffed. "Hmm… They're all so pathetic." He stood up and turned around to stare at them.

Obito used his new Sharingan eyes to look into Rin's chakra network. It was all blue chakra inside her. "The flow of Rin's chakra is disturbed… it's different from your chakra or mine."

Kakashi stole a glance at Obito. "She's probably under a genjutsu… They didn't waste any time trying to get the information out of her."

Iwagakure shinobi smirked smugly. "It seems they're not mere kids." Their respond was to pick their weapons immediately.

"We fought him earlier. He's fast… Stay alert!" reminded Kakashi.

Obito nodded, "Right!"

Then Iwagakure shinobi charged towards them first, but Obito and Kakashi also charged towards him. Iwagakure shinobi was the first to attack, as both knife miraculously appeared from his sleeves.

Obito ducked his head down before Iwagakure shinobi swung his knife around, and then jumped before the Iwagakure shinobi swung his other knife around at his guts.

After swinging the second knife attack, Iwagakure shinobi continued to swing his knife attack towards Kakashi, but half-masked scarred boy blocked it with his white blade.

Kakashi jumped back a little and rolled over his head on the ground just right before Iwagakure shinobi used his backhand swing attack. Then he jumped to his left, as Obito charged towards Iwagakure shinobi.

Iwagakure shinobi shot him a glare, as he blocked Obito's kunai and deflected him away. He also saw Kakashi, as he attempted to lunge his knife at him.

Silver-haired boy ducked his head and tried to stab his white blade at his enemy, but Iwagakure shinobi wouldn't have it that way.

His enemy swung his knife around again, but Kakashi ducked his head down, glaring up at Iwagakure shinobi. Konohagakure jounin swiftly brought his white blade up to block one of Iwagakure shinobi's knife attack.

During that time, Obito rushed towards the enemy, but he stumbled forward, as Iwagakure shinobi used his back to handstand, then flipped front to kick Kakashi who jumped and lunged towards him with his white blade, but missed.

The enemy spun around and crossed his arms over his chest and then he flung his arms open wide one blade in each hand. Obito bent backward, making blades miss, thanks to his Sharingan eyes. Kakashi rushed towards him.

The enemy grinned evilly, as he brought his knives back together between Obito's side. Unfortunately, Obito stopped his both arm by just leaning his legs on both arms, so Kakashi could leap over him and cut down the enemy, as he stepped over on his back.

The enemy fell first-face flatly.

Kakashi and Obito immediately hurried over to Rin's side who was still tied up. Kakashi kneeled next to her, as he placed his index and middle finger. "Release!"

Suddenly, Rin just woke up from his suspension state. Her eyes were shaking. "Kakashi… Obito…!"

"We've come to save you, Rin!" Obito reassured her. "You'll be all right now."

Kakashi nodded with a sigh of relief. "All right, now let's get out of here!" Just like that, he cut the rope that tied around Rin off, and helped Rin to get up.

"I see…" Obito, Kakashi, and Rin widened their eyes, as they snapped their head around at the wounded Iwagakure shinobi who managed to live and stood up, smirking evilly. "You two made a good team, but you're still just kids. Right now, you're in enemy hands."

Then he weaved a series of hand seals and then slammed his hand on the ground. "Doton: Iwayado Kuzushi! (Earth Style: Rock Breaker)"

Suddenly, whole cave was shaking, as if it was mini-earthquake. The fragments of small rock fell apart from the ceiling, causing Team Minato kids to look up in shock.

"This is bad!" panicked Obito.

"Run for the exit!" Kakashi yelled.

Obito, Kakashi, and Rin were running for their lives, trying to reach the exit, as more rocks collapsed upon behind them. Every time it fell apart, it was starting to get worse. Big rocks started to fall.

As they continued to run despite the massive dust obscuring their view, small fragment of rock just hit Kakashi's forehead, causing him to stumble back a little. He tried to recover his stumbling, but he could not handle the damage from the rock to his forehead. He fell.

"Kakashi!" cried Rin. Obito and she stopped even though the cave was about to collapse.

Obito rushed to barely unconscious Kakashi's side. He knew there was nothing he could to help Kakashi to wake up, so he tried to pick up, but he saw the large rock about to fall. He changed his mind, as he tossed Kakashi out of large rock's way. He screamed before it fell upon him.

Rin screamed.

Outside of Cave

Iwagakure shinobi watched the collapsed cave, as small white smoke erupted from the inside, smirking in victory. "Too bad, I lost a good source of information…" Then he laughed like he had won. "Oh, well, it can't be helped.

Inside Cave- With Kakashi

Kakashi and Rin just regained his conscious, as he groaned in the pain. They were barely hurt, but at least, they could move.

"Are you all right? Rin…? Kakashi…?"

Kakashi slowly glanced over his shoulder, as he was going to respond, but he widened his eyes in shock. "Obito!"

Obito had his half side crushed by a large rock, grinning with the blood out of his lips.

Rin gasped in shock.

Kakashi could not believe what he witnessed. He was so nervous. He did not want to let someone to die because of him. He walked over to him and tried to push the large boulder out of Obito. He struggled to move it out, but it was in vain.

"Don't…" Obito said weakly. "It's okay, Kakashi." A bit blood leaked out of his mouth. Apparently, he had an internal blood. "I don't think… I can make it… My right side is totally crushed. I can't even feel anything…"

Kakashi did not listen. He refused to let it go. He could not let someone to die. Not this time. He did not want Obito to die because of him. He continued to struggle to move the large rock, but it was impossible. It was too heavy. It made him too tired. He took a little break and breathed to regain his oxygen.

He slammed his fists on the large boulder. "Dammit!"

Rin's tears started to run down her cheeks, as she covered her mouth. She was in shocked right now. Obito was her close friend, and she also did not want him to die, but he looked very pale. "No… This can't be… Why…?"

Obito coughed up the blood.

"Obito…!" cried Rin. She could not stand to look at Obito in his condition, as she looked away and closed her eyes, sniffing.

Kakashi still could not believe it. He wished he was dreaming. He came down to his knees and shut his eyes with disdain, slamming his right fist on the ground. "Dammit! Dammit! If…If only I had listened to you, and we had come to rescue Rin in the first place… This never would've happened!"

Kakashi regretted his decision every moment of it. He realized he was always an ass to Obito since he met him. He always viewed Obito as a loser and bothersome to him.

"So what if I'm a captain?! So what if I made a jounin?!" ranted Kakashi.

"Oh, yeah…" Obito chuckled weakly. "I had forgotten…"

Rin widened her eyes.

Obito's left hand twitched few times. "I was the only one who… didn't give you a gift… for becoming a jounin, Kakashi."

Kakashi looked up and stared at Obito in confusion.

"I was… wondering what to give you… and I just had a thought." Obito smiled weakly, as Kakashi looked at him with dejected look. "Don't worry… It's not some useless, extra baggage…" He opened his left Sharingan eye. "I'm giving you… my Sharingan."

Kakashi widened his right eye, and Rin gasped in shock.

Obito smiled weakly. His tone started to get weak and weaker by every second. "Whatever the village may say… or even my young brother… you are… a great jounin. That's how I really feel… So please accept it."

Rin wiped the tears off her eyes, but she still was upset. She had mixed feeling about this situation.

"Rin… Use your Medical Ninjutsu. Take the entire eye and transplant… my Sharingan into Kakashi's left eye."

Rin nodded and looked around at Kakashi. "Kakashi, come over here… I'll start it right away."

Kakashi was trembling with the shock still in his head and looked away with disdain.

"I'm about to… die…" Obito chuckled weakly. "But… I'll become your eye and… see the future… for you."

Kakashi opened his right eye with a mixed cold look and angry look.

Outside the Cave

Iwagakure shinobi just sat outside the cave on the wooden log that covered with the grass, drinking the juice box. He just enjoyed his view on the forest.

Suddenly, the collapsed cave exploded, startling him. He glanced over his shoulder and widened his eyes in shock. Kakashi landed on the branch behind the destroyed cave, as the white smoke bellowed.

Iwagakure shinobi stood up and looked up at him with an annoyance. "How stubborn… You're still alive, huh?"

Kakashi's eyes closed with the tears leaking down from his both eyes. For very first time in his life since his Father's death, he actually cried.

Iwagakure shinobi laughed, "But… you're just a kid, after all. What's a ninja crying for? Come on, crybaby! Let's settle this."

But what he did not realize is that Kakashi opened his eyes, revealing the Sharingan in his left eye. He widened his eyes in shock at first, but then he shot him a glare.

Kakashi glared down at Iwagakure shinobi, as wind bellowed over his silver hair. He hated that guy. That guy just killed Obito. Even though it was a war, he just lost his close friend.

Iwagakure shinobi frowned. "That kid… He seems different than before."

Below him, down in the cave, Obito shut his left eye, who recently lost his left eye, muttered weakly. "Kakashi… take care of… Rin… and… Fayre."

Kakashi slowly reached for his white blade on his back. "Yeah…" Then he quickly grabbed the white blade and leapt down towards Iwagakure shinobi who was actually prepared for him.

Iwagakure shinobi stayed on the ground, while Kakashi leapt down towards him at high-speed. When they collided, it caused a shockwave, and Kakashi's blade cracked, as it flew away.

Iwagakure shinobi smirked.

Kakashi still looked at him with cold eyes.

Iwagakure jumped back, while Kakashi dropped his broken blade and weaved his hand seals. His enemy rushed towards him with his dual blade inside the bandage on his arm. One arm was visible, but other one was inside the sleeve.

However, the enemy was not only one that rushed. Kakashi charged towards him with the light blue lightning embedded in his right hand, as he reeled his right hand and lunged towards Iwagakure shinobi.

As the broken piece of Kakashi's blade, both Iwagakure shinobi and Kakashi clashed each other, it caused another shockwave, but this time, it was too bright light.

Rin gripped Obito's hand tightly, as she looked up and gulped. She was unsure of one's victory. She wondered who won the clash? Kakashi or that bastard Iwagakure shinobi?

Iwagakure shinobi came up on the top of the rock and looked down at them. Rin was startled and bared her teeth, as she started to panic. Where could Kakashi go?

But Obito knew otherwise. He chuckled, "Don't panic… Rin."

It appeared that Iwagakure shinobi was already dead, as Kakashi shoved him aside. He looked down at them and panted heavily.

Obito smiled. "Kakashi… Take Rin… Take Rin and… get out… of here. Enemy reinforcements… will be coming."

Rin sniffed. "Obito…" Obito let down his hand, but Rin tried to grab his hand.

"It's okay… Just go…"

Rin kneeled there and clenched her fist, looking dejected right there. If only… if only there was way to save him.

Kakashi lied down, and reached his hand out to her. "Rin!"

Enemy reinforcement just arrived, and they were already making a move. "Doton: Retsudo Tensho! (Earth Style: Earthquake Slam!)" Few more Iwagakure shinobi slammed their hand on the ground, causing the ground to shake, as it spiraled inwards.

Kakashi glanced over his shoulder at them and widened his eyes. He glanced back at Rin and reached his hand out to her. "Rin, hurry, take my hand!"

"Rin!" cried Obito.

Rin really did not want to leave him to die, even thought he was about to die anyways. But she knew if she refused to go, she would have died right here. She looked away and shook her tears off.

She grabbed Kakashi's hand, but earthquake already reached them, as the ground began to collapse onto Obito until they could only see Obito's left side face.

"Obito!" cried Rin.

'Just when Kakashi and I were… starting to get along…' thought Obito.

The imagination of Kakashi waving his hand at him…

Every time more fragments of ground fell apart, it covered more of Obito's face.

'I couldn't tell Rin that I… loved her…'

The imagination of Rin smiling at him…

'Sorry... Fayre… I could not… keep my promise. I wish… I could see you… one more again…'

The imagination of Fayre running towards him, looking happy, and ready to hug him…

'I wish… I could've spent more time… with everyone,' thought Obito. Last rock fell down onto him, as the view of him was no longer visible. He faded away into the darkness.

Elsewhere

Eyes slowly opened, but it kept closing again and again, but he could barely see a Sharingan with white hair watching him. 'Am I… dead?' Once he regained consciousness, he widened his right eye with few bandage wrapped around half of his head, as well as bandage around his right side, laying on the bed. The first thing he saw was an old man with a Sharingan staring at him.

"Where am I?" asked Obito.

"In between this life and the next… young Uchiha," replied the old man.

Obito noticed something in old man's left eye. He widened his eyes. "Those eyes! No way, Gramps… You're an Uchiha too?"

"Well, perhaps." The old man shrugged, standing with his crane to support him.

'He rescued me?' thought Obito. "But wait…You said we're between this life and the next." He looked around, which it looked like he was inside the tree or underground or something. "Where are we? It's dark and I can't see so well. Anyways, who are you, Gramps?" He laughed. "Heh, don't tell me you're Death! The guy who escorts people to heaven or hell…" It was a joke anyways.

However, something caught his eyes, which he thought it was the crane that the old man was carrying. It turned out that it was scythe which prompted him to scream out of fear. "Nooo! I don't want to die yet! Help!" He comically shook his body, desperate trying to escape with the tears streaming from her eyes. "I just saw a scythe or something! You're Death for sure! One especially for the Uchiha!"

The old man was not amused.

Obito panicked even more. "Wait! I lived my life under a creed of helping elderly people in need! Sure, I caused a lot of mischief and broke a lot of rules… But I'm sure my scale tips on the positive side! Please don't take me to hell!" He desperately begged the 'Death'. His scream only caused him to groan, as the pain took effect on him, thanks to stupid cave collapsed on him. "Oww…"

"The fact that you feel pain means you're still alive." The old man said. "However, it's a miracle that you survived. I'm amazed you weren't completely crushed under those boulders. It's almost as if you passed right through them."

Obito's face became serious. "Where did you find me?"

"In an underground passageway I had created…collapsed next to crumbled rock." The old man answered. "Still, half your body had been crushed. I patched you up as best I could."

"So you saved me, Gramps." Obito smiled. "Thank you."

"It's too soon to thank me. I expect you to repay your debt to me. After all, helping the elderly is your motto, right?"

"Well, yeah. So what do you want me to do? Help you with bathroom stuff?"

"That would be good." The old man agreed.

Obito wished he could help the old man, but he knew it was not the right time to help him. "Sorry, but I can't stay here forever! Now that I know I'm alive, I'm going back home to the Konohagakure! There's a war going on. My Sharingan's finally awakened… So now, I'll be able to protect my comrades even better!" He thought about Kakashi and Rin with a smile, knowing that he would be back to them since he was still alive, after all.

"Protect your comrades better, eh…?" The old man sighed.

"What is it?" Obito asked him.

"With that body… your life as a shinobi is over."

Obito shook his head three times. "No, no, no! Finally…" He snarled. "I finally got this eye! I'm confident my attack combinations will be better now!" He recalled when Kakashi lost his left eye when his eye got severed, and when they fought Iwa shinobi to save Rin. 'At last, I'll be a shinobi who came protect his comrades.'

"Wake up to reality. Nothing ever goes as planned in this world." The old man said coldly. "The longer you live, the more you realize that only pain, suffering, and futility exist in this reality."

Obito frowned at the old man with a deadpan eye. 'What's with this old man…?'

"Listen to me…" The old man continued. "In this world, wherever there is light, there are always shadows. As long as there is a concept of victors, the vanquished will also exist. The selfish desire for peace gives rise to war. And hatred is born in order to protect love. These are all nexuses, casual relationships that cannot be separated. Normally, that is."

Obito scowled in annoyance and also exasperated with sigh. 'The old man's on a roll… Old people ramble forever once they start."

Yet again, he was asking the same question to the old man. "So… where are we anyways?" That was his intention to shut the old man up anyways.

"Because you were hurt, someone else was saved." The old man ignored the question. "Isn't that so?"

Obito widened his eyes, remembering how he saved Kakashi and he was hurt in his place.

He shot up a glare at Madara. He refused to admit that his life as a shinobi was over. "Shut up already! I don't want to stay here long! I have to…" He tried to move, but he could not because there's great pain strained on his body, restricting his ability to move right now.

"Leave if you really want to. If you can move, that is." The old man began to turn around and limped towards his large chair.

Obito panted heavily, struggling to relieve the pain, because it took a greater toll on his body every time he moved his body around. Suddenly, he realized something. 'Wait a minute… There's something weird about this." Also he just noticed that something strange with the white cords implanting into his back or something. 'What's an old man with the Sharingan doing here all by himself? If I think about it, I know all the geezers and grannies in the Konohagakure, and if I've never seen him around… It means this guy is currently not a Konoha shinobi. Which means…"

He looked at the old man who was about to reach to his large chair or known as 'throne'. "Gramps… I bet… you're a missing-nin, aren't you? Just who are you?!"

The old man sure took his time to finally sit down on his chair. It must be really struggling to sit down as an old man, Obito assumed.

The old man took a breath first, and then replied with a sigh. "I am… an Uchiha ghost." Obito widened his eyes. He just noticed that there was a large fruit tree or something behind the old man. "I am Uchiha Madara."

'M-Madara…?!' shocked Obito. "By Madara… You mean Uchiha Madara as in my ancestor?! That Madara's supposed to have died ages ago! What era are we talking about?!"

"So you're more likely to believe that I'm Death?" Madara smirked, amused. "I guess I am Death, in a sense…" Obito looked him in confusion. "For this reality, truly is hell. I'm a cheater of death who would be dead in no time… if I weren't continuously siphoning chakra from that Gedo Statue behind me."

Obito saw something that completely freak him out. There was some weird kind of deformed white humans, and there's probably dead human coming from the wall. Okay, that really freaked him out. "I'm going home!"

He crawled out of bed, but he instead fell to the ground, but he did not care. He'd rather to go to home than having his body sacrificed to Madara just to prolong his life!

Madara watched Obito crawling on the ground. "I wouldn't bother. There are no exits here. In any case, neither you nor I can leave this place. At least, not with our bodies." Obito looked at him with a fear, despite struggling to get the hell out of this place. "If you move, the synthetic tissue of Hashirama that I went to the trouble of attaching to you will peel off. Do you want to die?"

No matter what he tried to warn him, Obito would still try to crawl on way to find exits.

Madara sighed. "There are a lot of things I'd like you to do for me, for the rest of our lives. I went to great pains to save you. Don't rush to your death."

"What do you want?" scowled Obito. "What does a geezer like you want from a brat like me?!"

"To sever the fate of this world." Madara answered. "A world of only victors… a world of only peace… a world of only love. I will create such a world."

"So what! Who cares!" Obito shouted. "I just want to go back to everyone!"

"I told you, things don't go as planned." Madara reminded him. "You will realize that in time."

Obito went back to crawl, looking for the exits. He knew that old man was really crazy! What's about the world he created anyways?!

"If you really want to die so badly, then go ahead. But I'll be taking that Sharingan of yours."

Obito stopped crawling and glared at Madara. "Why do you want my eye?! You already have your own Sharingan!"

"Actually, my original eyes are on loan to another. This one is a spare I transplanted later. I'd like to have a few more in stock…" He moved his long hair out of his right eye's way, which showed Obito that his eye was shut down too. "Since I don't have a right eye yet. And only with two together can the Sharingan's true power be unleashed."

'Then… that means…' Obito realized. 'If I team up with Kakashi, we'll both be even stronger. Then we'll be able to protect Rin properly, together! I definitely can't stay here.'

He crawled towards the wall with no exists. There was more reason for him to leave this blasted place and go back with Kakashi and Rin after all! He did not want to work for Madara.

He saw the imagine of Rin and Kakashi staring down at him. 'Just you wait… Kakashi… Rin!' He also saw the imagine of Fayre who smiled happily at him. 'And… I am going to see you again, Fye! I'm… alive!"

Later

Obito was tended to by two artificial humans, who helped in his rehabilitation, while also telling him about Madara's goal and annoying Obito with potty humor. Through months of intense rehabilitation while also recalling his time training with both Kakashi and Rin, Obito recovered and got used to his new artificial body parts including his new right arm.

Who knows how long he had been trained, but it seemed like months since he woke up from his near-death. Right now, he already grew his hair long down over to his nose, and his back hair went down to his neck. He was finally able to feel his right arm and his right leg again.

'It's starting to feel natural.' Obito thought. He smiled happily. "Just a bit longer. I'll see you soon, Rin… Kakashi!' Then he just noticed that the swollen face guy literally came out of the wall.

"I was just outside! Your friends, Rin and stupid Kakashi, are in trouble!"

Obito quickly sat up, staring up at him in shock. "What happened?!"

"They're alone and completely surrounded by Kirigakure shinobi!"

Obito panicked. Were Kakashi and Rin in dangerous right now?! What on earth could happen to them? Is there still a war running right now?! Wasting no time, he immediately jumped away, which resulted in his bed destroyed, charging towards the boulder that locked them up, as he punched the wall so hard enough to put a crack. Unforunately, the boulder was broken, so does his right hand degenerated, because it was stitched to his right side. He groaned, clutching to his right shoulder.

The swirly face guy landed behind him, crouching down. "You can't break through boulders with that body yet."

Obito groaned, as he limped towards the boulder. "I have to save Rin and Kakashi…"

The swirly face guy sighed, as he opened his entire body, almost as if he had no bone, taking over Obito's body. "Why don't you wear my body?"

Once it completely enveloped into Obito's entire body from head to feet, he looked in shock at that thing. "But you guys serve Madara. Are you sure about this?" Now his body looked like it was white, and he looked like he took his new mask attached to his face.

The swollen face guy grinned. "He's… a good boy. Don't you want to help Rin and Kakashi?"

Obito closed his right eye which was visible from the hole in the mask, clenching his fist and reopening his right eye. "Thanks, you guys!" Along with the cord connected to the swirly face man's spine.

He walked over to the wall to test his new strength with the swirly face guy taking over his body. He clenched his fist and pulled back, waiting for the cord to feed its power to him, before he delivered a powerful punch to the boulder, which resulted in destroying it completely, as the dust spread inside the underground.

The swollen face guy chuckled. "You kept the root tethered and borrowed the statue's power, eh? Nice."

"I'm pretty good, huh?" bragged the swirly face guy proudly.

Obito nodded. "All right!"

"So you're going?" Madara's voice asked him, sitting on his big chair very distant from him.

Obito kept his serious face, as he grabbed the cord connected to the swirly face man's spine, cutting it off, which allowed his mask to uncurl away. "I'm grateful that you saved me. But I'm leaving. I have to go."

"You're being too hasty… It may be premature to thank me."

Obito glanced over his shoulder at Madara. "I'll probably never come back here." He turned around to him. "I've given my thanks. I'm going!"

Madara narrowed his eyes. "You… will return." He reassured Obito. "And that's when I'll get your true gratitude."

Obito simply gave Madara a stoic stare before shouting at the swollen face one. "White one! What's Rin and Kakashi's location?! Take me there right away!"

"What you've got on your body is like a clone of me." The swollen face guy. "And we can talk telepathically to each other over limited distances. Others of us are scattered here and there underground. We're able to exchange intel. I'll use them to guide you."

One of cord tapped on his face, which got Obito's attention. "Swirly!"

"First, we need to get outside," said Swirly.

Obito nodded. "I'm counting on you." With that, he hopped on few large debris of boulders, but before he completely left, he grabbed the black robe.

After he finally completely left the underground, he stopped at nowhere of place. "How are Rin and Kakashi doing right now?"

"According to the others, it looks pretty bad." The swollen face guy said telepathy through Swirly. "They're talking about some Kirigakure test subjects, but I don't really understand."

"Test subjects?" Obito asked quizzically. But he knew it was not good anyways. He had to go out there to save them at any cost, so he hurriedly scrambled up the wall by just using his chakra on the sole of his shoes.

"Anyway, it seems Rin and Kakashi are totally surrounded. And they're saying they all appear to be jonin or Black Ops."

Obito then hopped one after one on the branch on way to their destination. He growled. "What's Minato-sensei doing?" The sun just began to go down, as it drew towards the dark.

"Who is that?"

"I'm asking you what the Konoha no Kiiroi Senko (Yellow Flash of the Leaf) doing!" scowled Obito, annoyed.

"Seems he's on a different mission."

"At a time like this?!" Obito gritted his teeth nervously, worrying for Rin and Kakashi. He remembered that he told Kakashi to look after Rin for him before his supposedly death below the large boulder on top of him. Kakashi promised him that. 'Kakashi! You made me a promise! Please… Please protect Rin somehow!"

He jumped down to the forest floor, running towards their destination. "I'll be right there!"

"Obito, this will probably turn into a battle." Swirly warned him. "So I want to tell you some things beforehand."

"What is it?!"

"Your fighting ability is lower than mine. Plus right now, it's like my big body is wrapped around and protecting your wounded little body."

Obito scowled, clearly frustrated and worry on his face. "So what?!"

"I think it would be better if I do all the fighting."

"Remember what Madara said? That only with a pair together can the Sharingan's true power be unleashed! Kakashi, the other half of my pair, will be on the battlefield. Our combo attacks are superior! Kakashi and I will protect Rin!" He took off onto the branch, as he was hopping one after one.

"As I recall, you do have Hashirama's tissue attached to you. A whole different strength may emerge when Senju and Uchiha powers are combined together, but…"

The white one seemed to stop talking, as Obito was waiting for him to say something, but words never came out of the white one. "What was that?" asked Obito.

All of the sudden, the sky was pouring the rain hard down there, which shocked him. Obito stopped on the branch. But it turned out that there was little mini-tsunami over there. "I thought it was rain, but it's…"

"I just got word from one of my guys. It seems…" There were more water sprouts from that distance. "That's the location."

"Let's go!" Obito jumped off to hop on branch after one on way to that battlefield, but all of the sudden, his right eye was blurring. It was not just original blur, but something black kept crawling towards his eye repeatedly. He felt his head tingle, as he groaned and clutched to his head.

His vision suddenly changed from the forest to seeing shocked Rin in front of his eye. He growled. 'What's happening?!' He shook his head in attempt to get the image of Rin off his right eye. 'Stop showing these weird images! A little bit…'

He was almost there. Once he arrived there, he planned to save Rin and Kakashi from the enemy. He'd bet that Kakashi and Rin would be happy to see him alive, but there was no time for what-ifs. He had to save them! He ran… and ran… and ran… harder! He was swinging his arms so hard so he could speed up to arrive at his destination. 'Just a little bit farther!'

Finally, he ran through the bush and immediately came to stop, as he looked up and widened his eyes in shock. He could not believe it! What he just witnessed was that Kakashi shoved his hand into Rin's chest with the Chidori.

Rin coughed up the blood, as it was running down from his lips. Her entire body was shaking, as she stared in shock at Kakashi. "Kakashi…"

Kakashi started leaking tears from his eyes, as he also stared in shock at her.

Why?! Why did Kakashi… Why did Kakashi kill Rin? He was very confused. He was so lost. He started to shake. Did Kakashi just broke his promise to him? He just witnessed that Kakashi killed her with his own hand! His own hand! He just asked Kakashi to promise that Rin would be watched over well. But that did not happen. Kakashi killed her!

For the final time, Rin coughed up the blood, as her life began to draw away from her. She was going to fall, but Kakashi did not want to let her fall, so he held her and shut his eyes down with regret, removing his hand off from Rin's chest.

However, due to sheer shock, he could not hold on to her. He lost his grip on her, as she fell to her back.

Obito still gasped in shock, witnessing her crush to die before his very eyes. And what's more, he still couldn't believe that Kakashi actually killed her with his own hand!

Kakashi was shaking in fear. He just lost his two teammates during the war! It could not be any worse than this. All he wanted is to let the war end, so he could go back to home. It was too much for him to deal with loss of his two teammates.

One of Kirigakure shinobi in ANBU mask scowled. "Damn it! He did it!"

"After all the trouble we went through to get her!" said the other one.

Obito looked down with his face shadowed, clenching his fist, shaking too much.

Kakashi fell to his knees, out of sorrow. "Rin…" He started to shake with the rage, so does Madara from very far distance.

Kakashi and Obito moved their head up, looking furious with their both Sharingan (one on Kakashi's left eye, and one on Obito's right eye) evolved into the similar form of Sharingan- three stretched triangles evenly spaced around the pupil that each curve at the top around the eye to form a circle, similar to a pinwheel.

However, after the evolution of their Sharingan, Kakashi suddenly passed away, but Obito did not.

Due to sheer rage, hatred, and grief, Obito could not contain them any longer, as he let his head back, allowing Swirl to envelop the mask into his head, powering up his chakra, screaming all the way to the sky. "Where…" That suddenly got every Kirigakure shinobi's attention to him. "…in the world… is this place?!"

Suddenly, some kind of roots, branch, or form of tree whatsoever sprouted out of his back, as he turned his head down at the floor.

"Who is that guy?" asked one of Kirigakure ANBU.

"Reinforcements maybe?" assumed one of other Kirigakure ANBU.

Third one scoffed. "What a fool, jumping in alone!" He quickly hurled several of his shuriken towards Obito.

"I won't accept it!" Obito screamed, not pay attention to his surrounding even once, and he did not even try to move out of shuriken. They somehow… went through him, planting onto the tree. He was shaking with all of his rage. "I will not…"

"What just happened?!" shocked the guy who threw several shurikens at him. "Did he just dodge them?"

Obito snapped his head up, roaring. "…accept any of this!" His eye was glaring at all of them with massive hatred. He then used the force of his strength to run towards them, but every time he stepped on, the ground below him cracked.

"Do not mock the Kirigakure!" One of Kirigakure ANBU growled, as he grabbed his katana that equipped to his back. Unforunately, he never got chance to swing the katana, because Obito got to him before that.

The enraged mask man slammed his hand onto Kirigakure's stomach, allowing Swirl to skewer few Kirigakure shinobi with the parasite-like, spilling all of their bloodies to his mask. Two of them were already knocked away, dead. But one of them was still alive on the floor below him.

Obito immediately cut off one of parasite-like and then grabbed large stick from his sleeves, and was going to kill the Kirigakure shinobi below him with it, as several Kirigakure shinobi jumped down towards him. "DIE!"

However, when they tried to stab Obito with their own katana each, but instead, their katana went through Obito, ended up stabbing Kirigakure shinobi below Obito to death.

"I can't hit him!" panicked the Kirigakure ANBU by him, only to meet his mask with Obito's strong roundhouse kick, as his neck snapped back, dropping to the ground. Not only him that just met his fate, his two other fellow Kirigakure shinobi also experienced this similar fate, as their life just ended now.

Several Kirigakure shinobi made a comment on Obito's action.

"Who is that guy?!"

"He wields a strange jutsu!"

"At least grab the girl! Don't hand her corpse over to the enemy!"

Several Kirigakure shinobi nodded at the 'commander', as they made their way to Rin's corpse.

Obito saw that they were making on way to Rin's corpse, so he immediately ran towards her corpse, despite too many Kirigakure shinobi in his way.

No matter what they did, they tried to kill him with their katana, but every single of them seemed to go through him. He literally passed through them. One of Kirigakure shinobi realized that.

"There's no mistake! This guy passes right through you!"

In front of him, there was a Kirigakure shinobi who stubbornly swung his katana right down towards Obito's head, yet it still went through his head, as Obito went past him.

He just saw that several Kirigakure shinobi went closer to her. He felt his chest clenched in anger. He could not let them touch her! NO ONE SHALL TOUCH HER! He instantly threw wooden spike at one of his enemies, knocking him away. Then he weaved a single sign, as the wooden spike on his enemy sprouted out more branch, brutal skewering through his body.

'All of a sudden, he's able to use Mokuton: Sashiki no Jutsu (Wood Style: Cutting Sprigs Jutsu)… Obito, now I understand why Madara chose you!' thought Swirly.

Kirigakure shinobi glanced around, only to be punched down to the ground very much harder. Pieces of ground scattered away. Obito kicked the wounded Kirigakure shinobi up in the air before grabbing his hair and slamming his mask against the knee, destroying the mask, revealing heavily damaged to the face. Then he slammed him down onto the ground and mounted on top of his body.

He screamed, as he raised his right fist before bashing his enemy's face in. Then he raised his left fist and bashed his fist onto the enemy's face. He raised his both hands and clenched together to bash his face again. Afterward, he just kept delivering each powerful punch to his face, despite knowing that he was already dead long ago. Every time he bashed his opponent's head, a pound of blood beneath dead Kirigakure shinobi kept growing bigger and bigger, as his fellow Kirigakure shinobi were watching.

His feelings were filled with rage, grief, and hatred. He already exploded with rage, and all he wanted to do is to kill someone. HER RIN WAS DEAD, AND IT MADE HIM SO MAD! He wanted her back, but he knew there's no way to bring her back to life! Even worse, his feeling was hurt even more, because he realized he was still alive, so he thought he could be together with Kakashi and Rin, but he was wrong! Kakashi killed Rin in front of his eyes!

He blamed Kakashi for unable to protect Rin. He blamed Minato for not being there for them! He blamed himself for not being on time to save Rin! He blamed all Kirigakure shinobi before him here! He blamed EVERYTHING!

Behind him, Kirigakure shinobi finally managed to form a word out of his mouth under the mask. "What is he?"

Obito finally stopped punching the shit out of dead Kirigakure shinobi. He slowly glanced around at them who were staring at him with fear. Just as he got up, they even stepped backward with fear. What they saw a man before them was truly a monster! It looked like he was on rampage.

The longer he stared at them, the more rage he would about to explode. Indeed, his rage did explode again. With that, he went on more rampage, as he slaughtered every single of them, even someone tried to run away, but he killed him immediately! For every person was killed by his own hand, blood stained on each body part. In his world, everything was blood to him right now. Everything on floor was filled blood. The sky was bloody red. Even the moon was bloody red. Everything he saw within his vision was sooo red. He felt like there was a blood raining down in his world. Everything was very blood!

"I get it…" Obito stopped in place, as his right hand was made of tree that connected into the ground. "I'm…" Swirl's face emerged away from Obito, revealing his grief face, as tears were leaking down his cheeks. He could see the reflection of his face from the blood pound. "I'm…" His face just became more unstable as he watched Rin's corpse. "…in Hell."

He dropped the dead Kirigakure shinobi in his hand, as he strolled towards Rin's corpse. In his world, he felt like he was walking through the blood pound. His bare feet were already stained with blood.

He recalled what Madara said to him. "The longer you live… the more you realize that only pain, suffering, and futility exist in this reality. Listen to me… In this world, wherever there is light, there are always shadows. These are all nexuses, casual relationships that cannot be separated. Normally, that is."

He realized that Madara was right. He even thought about killing Kakashi while on way to Rin, but he changed his mind, as he walked right through Kakashi, since he already phased through him. He was very upset after everything had happened.

He also remembered what the white one said to him. "He's talking about discarding all the bad things in the real world and escaping inside a dream that's full of good things!" Maybe Madara was right. It's the reality that was very harsh.

He bit his lip, as he reached his hand to Rin, but he stopped because his hand was shaking so hard. He shut his eyes. He could not bear to see Rin like that. Why did Rin have to die? He opened his eyes, as he gave in to his courage. This time, he reached his hand on Rin, but instead it went through her. He was taken aback by his intangibility.

He frowned, for sure this time, successfully reached his hand on her neck, checking for her pulse. There was no heartbeat.

"Since it's a dream, everything is how you want it!" Those were Swirly's words back at Madara's hideout. His tears came out of his eyes after seeing Rin's no longer in this world. He bared his teeth with a grief, crying for his crush. "Even those who are dead can be alive again!"

He picked her head up and hugged her into his arm, sniffing.

"A world of only victors… a world of only peace… a world of only love. I will create such a world." These words were Madara's word that spoke to him before in the hideout.

Obito knew that there's no way Rin would magically return to life, so he could only do was to hug her to his chest. Now he was no longer in his world where it was filled with blood. He was back to reality.

"Again, Rin…" Obito said sadly, "I'll create a world where we can be together again." He glanced around at unconscious Kakashi lying on the floor. 'I shall sever the nexuses… of this world…'

Flashback Ended

Fayre had heard Obito's whole story, about how Rin was kidnapped, and his problem with Kakashi. That angered him more when he heard that Kakashi would prefer to choose the mission over saving Rin. Not that he cared about Rin, Kakashi' stubbornness led Obito to his near-death, being crushed by the boulder.

He clenched his fists, baring his teeth in anger. He could not bring himself to forgive Kakashi after hearing his brother's story. 'Damn him! Even if Obito is still alive, but it's because of him, Obito is like that now.' Not just because Obito almost died, it's because Kakashi was the one who killed Rin, which caused his brother to join Madara.

He felt his blood boiled inside his chest, but he inhaled and exhaled to calm himself down, closing his eyes slowly. 'No… I can't be blinded by hatred again. I have to find out why Kakashi killed Rin. I'm not going to allow myself to be consumed by hatred again!'

So far, two of his guys on the kill list were wrong. Itachi never slaughtered everyone in Uchiha clan on his own accord, but it was an act on the order by Danzo that specifically stated he had two choices: massacre entire clan with the exception of Uchiha Sasuke, or Danzo will have his ROOT to kill every single Uchiha, including Uchiha Sasuke and Uchiha Itachi.

And Kakashi never killed Obito in order to obtain the Sharingan. Instead, Obito actually bestowed Kakashi a gift of Sharingan before his "death". Kakashi told him many times, but he never listened. He was simply blinded by hatred which drove him to make an attempted assassination on Kakashi multiple times. He should have listened to Kakashi.

Even so, he had not scratch Kakashi off his kill list yet. Not until he confirmed Kakashi to find the truth first.

However, because of Kakashi, Obito was driven to begin his crazy quest to extract all Biju in order to activate world of genjutsu or something. The name "Kakashi" kept brought to his mind every time. It seemed that he could not stop hatred that filled within him towards Kakashi.

"Wait…" Fayre brought himself back to reality, as he opened his eyes and stared at Obito. "You said you are going to create a world where you can be together with Rin in peace. But…" At least he's going to try to bring old Obito back, so he could be together with his older brother, just like old times. He was going to stop Fayre from continuing his stupid quest on extracting Biju which would result in killing the jinichuriki. "Maybe you don't have to do that anymore."

Obito shook his head. "I am still going to create a world regardless of what you said to me."

"Let me finish!" Fayre scowled. He absolutely hated it when people interrupted his sentence. His brother intended to interrupt his sentence every time. He hated it, but he still loved his brother. He supposed that something never changed after all. "I actually have an offer for you. There's another way where you can be together with your Rin again."

"What?" Obito looked at him skeptically. What was there else way for him to live together with Rin again? He knew there was another way to live together with Rin again. He could have Nagato to perform a jutsu to bring her back to life if he wanted to.

"There's a legend that said if you collected all seven Dragon Balls on either Namek or Earth, it is said that dragon will come out of balls and grant you any wish. In this case, you can collect all Dragon Balls and use them to wish the love of your life back to life."

Obito was amazed by Fayre's revelation. He never knew something like that existed! A dragon will come out of seven balls that grant you any wish? A wish to revive a dead person? He had never heard of such a thing. He only heard of Rinnegan had a power to revive a dead person. But how was he supposed to believe in such a tale? But he knew his brother. His brother never lied to him before.

Fayre noticed that Obito stared at disbelief at him. He snorted. Of course, there's no way he could convince him easily. It would take more than to just convince him. But hey, this was Obito he's talking about. Obito was convinced easily. He was sure of himself. There's one thing that Kakashi doesn't have is…

Brother Bonds… Brothers intended to bond each other. They tell each other. They will believe in each other. They would get along, despite fighting each other sometimes. No matter what the situation they were in, they would always protect each other.

He was sure that he was able to convince Obito over to his side, so they could work together to defeat Coola. It should be easy to convince his older brother.

Fayre strolled towards Obito who was still at disbelief that there was such a thing possible. He placed his both hands on his older brother's shoulders and smiled in a friendly way. "I know you want to be together with Rin. But if you don't believe in me, that's fine, but it is true. At first, when I heard a legend tale like that, I did not believe in it. I thought it was just a legend. But when I heard that everyone on planet Namek who was killed by Freeza were revived. To be honest, I was actually astounded. That's when I discovered the legend of Dragon Balls were true after all. There's a chance for you to see Rin again. You guys can be together… and you and I can be together again, just like old times again."

Obito moved his head down, as he casted his eyes downward, frowning.

'There! I think I'm starting to bring old Obito back! It should be easy as cake! Brother bonds better than friend bonds after all!' Fayre smirked smugly with a pride. He would not have to fight his own brother to death after all.

"Hmph!" Erize scoffed inside his mind. "Your conceited will be your own downfall!"

'Shut up!' While retaining his face with a smile in front of his own brother, on the inside, he scowled at the sealed Saiyan. 'There's things you don't understand about. It's brother bonds! He won't kill me! After all, I've bonded with him during my childhood! Besides… if I let my guard down and he's going to kill me, I have nothing to worry about. You will heal me anyways, and I will be still alive afterward. But I doubt he's going to kill me since I'm his brother.'

"Don't be stupid! I told you many times… You can't rely on me to heal you all the times!"

Fayre ignored her warning, as he continued to confront his older brother. "Listen to me… You should start asking yourself a question. Why should you still continue to work on your plan to extract all Biju in order to achieve your goal, so you can be together with Rin inside the fake world when you can just simply bright her back to life and live together with her happily here instead? Think about it. You can feel real. You can feel love. You can still be happy together with her in real world. If she's not with you, you have to hard work to make her accept you. But not in world of genjutsu. These feelings won't be real. Your feeling towards Rin may be real, but her feeling towards you won't be real. Heck, you won't be seeing the real me. What I would have become in your dream world won't be real either. You probably will become the Hokage in your dream, but it will not happen here in real world. Everything that happened in your dream world will never happen in real world ever!

"This 'world of genjutsu' you mentioned are a simply illusion of everything that most likely will not happen to reality. An illusion of world for eternity that you will never get out. You will live in there forever, and you will start to forget that it's not real. You will start to think that it's real at some point later. Would you really want that?"

"All I want is to live together with Rin in world of peace. As long as there's peace, I am okay with it," replied Obito callously.

Fayre shook his older brother's body violently, screaming. "GET A GRIP! Life is hard! I know that! But sorry, you have to face the harsh reality! Rin is dead! So what?! GET OVER IT! That's one thing you have to endure forever! If there's no such as Dragon Balls exist in the universe, you'd have to learn to deal with her dying forever. There's nothing that you can change! When I learned that you died, I am not going to start a mad quest like you have, so I can be happy with you! Sure, I have my grief and hatred towards Kakashi from time to time, but I don't endanger all of their life over my stupid quest, simply because you are dead! I came to kill Kakashi and that is it! But of course, I am wrong, because you're still alive! I may have made many horrible move, but your idea of creating a world where there is only peace is not one of them!

"But you're so lucky. There's such a thing like Dragon Balls do really exist in this universe! You can simply bring her back to life. Maybe she won't be happy after all you've done terrible. But in this harsh reality, you'd have to earn her trust if we bring her back to life. Think about it… Don't you care what will happen to them? You want to extract all Biju from each Jinichuriki, but you also are aware that they will also die once their Biju is extracted from them. Do you realize if you cast a world of genjutsu, you're going to force them to their will and trapped them inside the world of genjutsu forever, even if they did not want to live out their dream their whole life? You're literally forcing them if you do that. Do you even care what will happen to them?"

Obito looked like he was anticipating sometime, making a decision whether he should continue his plan or listen to his young brother. He looked at Fayre again and gave him a little smile. "Okay…"

Fayre was taken aback by Obito's sudden comment. "Okay?"

"Yeah…" Obito smiled sadly. "You're right. I will not create a world where I can be together with Rin. But instead, we're going to collect seven Dragon Balls to bring her back to life."

Fayre stared in shock at Obito's sudden of change. His heart was beating so hard, as he started to smile. 'Take that, you bitch! I did it! I convinced him to change his mind! Nothing can beat brother bonds!'

"Something's not right. You better be careful." Erize warned him once again.

'Shut up! He changed his mind. You lost! Accept it hard, you bitch!' Fayre was so happy. He could not contain his excitement, as he immediately clung to his older brother in a tight hug, like brother would normally hug. "I am glad you changed your mind. We will collect all Dragon Balls to bring her back to life, but first things first… we must defeat Coola first if we want to save Element…"

Who knew how long they have hugged each other? It's probably been a one minute. Obito remained silent, while Fayre smiled with tears coming out of his eyes. He never wanted his older brother to be like that anymore. All he wanted was for Obito to come back to his old self, and he did successfully convince him.

However, his smile quickly diminished, as shock started to etch across his face, almost as if he had seen a ghost or something. He violently coughed up the blood repeatedly. He felt his chest burned so much. That moment he realized he had been stabbed in the chest by Obito, wielding one of his stolen sword.

He felt so weak right now. His entire body was shaking so much now. It was almost as if his entire body was cooking right now. He felt like someone was cooking him just for the meal. That's what he felt right now when he was stabbed in the chest.

"W-W-Why…?" Fayre stuttered. He had a hard time to form his voice easily. He was in shocked right now. He could not believe that his own brother was willing to kill him. At that moment, he also realized that Obito lied to him for first time. His older brother lied to him that he changed his mind.

"You probably wanted to ask me why I never came back to you when I'm still alive. That's because I knew you'd get in my way. You'd try to stop me; just like you are now. But I can't have that. Even with Dragon Balls, I don't want to bring Rin back to life. I want to create a world where I can live with Rin… in a peace. You're getting in my way, so you gave me no choice to kill you. But you and I can't work together. We will never, ever again. Have…" Obito paused. He let go of his younger brother, as Fayre began to fall down, watching him in horrify. "Have you forgotten that I'm the one who got involved in aiding Itachi to wiping all members of Uchiha clan?"

Fayre widened his eyes, before his body just hit the ground with a thud. Darkness started to take over his vision. He still looked into Obito's cold stares. His cold stare… Did Obito hate him now?

Obito was right. They would never work together ever again. That's because Obito also helped Itachi to wipe the Uchiha clan. But at that moment, he realized their "Brother Bonds" were severed.

His fear of them turned into Itachi and Sasuke where their brother bonds were severed became true. He saw the imagine of himself and Obito sitting together grinning like a bright. But in between Obito and him was cut off, as they were separated. They were still grinning, but now, they were separated.

The darkness closed onto his vision…

"Fye! Fye! Wake up!" The voice echoed into his ears. He stiffed, but he felt his body rocking back and forth. He had no choice but to slowly open his eyes, as the sunshine shone through the window. He had to squint his eyes to find out who's waking him up.

It was 12 years old Obito who was smiling at him happily. His older brother stood right by him who tucked into the blanket on the bed.

Right now, Fayre was in the body of his 8 years old self. He looked at Obito with an astound look. What was going on? He remembered he was fighting Obito and…

His face froze, as he slumped his shoulders down, looking dejected. 'He stabbed me… But why am I here in my 8 years old body?'

"I couldn't help but to notice that you were moving around too much. So I'm assuming it's only a bad dream. That's why I woke you up." Obito grinned cheerfully.

'Wait… Is this only a bad dream? I feel like I'm living out my whole life,' thought Fayre. 'Something's not right. This can't be true.'

"Fayre!" He snapped out of his thought, as his attention turned to his older brother. "Are you listening to me? I said time to get ready and dress up, so I can go there and kick stupid Kakashi ass! Today is the day I'll defeat Kakashi in sparring contest!"

Obito's wide grin made him smile a little. Maybe it was long dream after all. Fayre nodded and gave his brother a wide grin. "Okay!"

Obito grinned at him before leaving his room, so he could give him a time to get a dress up. After Fayre dressed up in his shinobi gear, he would meet his brother outside of their apartment complex. "All right! Let's go! Let's kick stupid Kakashi's ass!"

"YES!" Fayre shouted with a bit of enthusiastic. Then they began their move, and running on way to one of training ground where they would meet Kakashi, Minato and Rin.

But the longer they were running together, the more Obito distanced himself away from him. For some reason, Fayre could not catch up to him. Every time he tried, Obito would suddenly stray further more and more away from him. He felt like there was no way for him to catch up. It seemed like the sight of Obito would become smaller and smaller every time they were apart from each other.

Fayre ran harder. He tried his best to catch up to Obito, but it was so impossible. No matter how fast he ran, he still could not catch up to him.

He reached out his hand for Obito, but there was nothing come out of his hand. He desperately cried for his older brother repeatedly. "Obito-niisan! Obito-niisan! Obito-niisan!"

He noticed his hands were shaking. He was confused why his hands were shaking so much. The longer he stared at Obito's back, the less visible he would see on Obito. It was almost as if their brother bonds were split right now. His tears started to come out of his eyes. He did not want to sever this bonds.

"Obito-niisan…" Fayre cried. His brother had disappeared into the darkness, as he was no longer visible. "OBITO-NIISAN!"

"ARGH!" Suddenly, he felt his chest clenched. He looked down and widened his eyes. What he saw was a hole in his chest, as bloods leaking out of his chest into the pound of blood. "What is happening to me?!" He clutched his chest and screamed in the pain, as he sunk to his knees.

That's right. Now he remembered... He remembered that his own brother stabbed him in the chest. But… 'Why, Obito-nissan?! Do you hate me?! Why are you stabbing me? Why do you want to kill me?'

He recalled Obito's words before he fell into the unconscious. "You probably wanted to ask me why I never came back to you when I'm still alive. That's because I knew you'd get in my way. You'd try to stop me; just like you are now. But I can't have that."

He bared his teeth, and there was mixed feeling within him. He was very angry, shocking, and crying. 'DAMN IT! WHY?! OBITO! WHY?!' He grabbed his shirt on the top of his heart and screaming intensely, along with his heavy crying. It was like his heart was already broken. "I AM YOUR BROTHER! DO YOU HATE ME?!"

"You're right." Suddenly, new voice appeared.

"Huh?" Fayre titled his head up, only to find 12 years old Obito standing in front of him. "Obito-niisan?" His eyes were still full of red due to his heavy crying. He was surprised not because Obito was standing before him, but it's because Obito gave him a sadistic grin. "O-O-Obito-niisan…? Why… W-Why are you giving me a smile like that?"

"Because…" Obito chuckled darkly, as he raised his hand with Fayre's sword in his hand. Fear etched across his face, as Obito said his three words. "…I hate you!" Then Obito brought the sword down towards his young brother.

"NOOOO!" Fayre screamed, as he quickly sat up on the floor, panting hyperventilation. Now he just found himself back in his own mindscape, and he noticed Erize's hands glowing on his chest. 'What? It's only a dream? Then…'

He slowly reached for his head, but his hands were shaking too much. He clutched his head, screaming intensely, with the tear pouring out of his eyes. He did know why, but he was having an emotional breakdown. An experience of being stabbed in the chest to death by his own brother. What kind of brother would do that?!

The memory of Obito shoved his own sword into the chest made him so furious. How could he do that?! Fayre growled, as he started to shake with a rage. "We… We're brothers! Why would you kill your own brother?! We are not supposed to kill each other!"

"Idiot…" Erize muttered while healing him, but it did not go unheard by her son.

Fayre quickly shot up a glare at her. "What... what did you say?!"

"Yes, you've heard me right." Erize said sarcastically. She spoke without even looking at him. All she did was to heal him right now. She heard her son snarling. "I called you an idiot. Offended? Well, that's too bad! Deal with it! I don't want to hear your constant crying, you crybaby loser!"

He moved his head down, as his hair shadowed his eyes. "Do… not…insult… ME!" He slapped across her cheek with his backhand.

Her head snapped around, frozen in shock. Because she took a slap across her cheeks, her hands left his chest, so that stopped her healing. She could feel her cheek tingling and hurting a bit. She had a feeling that there's a bruise on her cheek.

He knew he just lost his temper, but at this pressure level right now, he could not control his emotion, not after his own brother stabbed him in the chest, and on top of that, his birth mother just insulted him. That made it worse! "Don't insult me EVER again!"

Right now, he was sitting on the floor, giving Erize a cold stare, and he only saw her touching her cheek in shock, but before she knew it, he was on floor with his arm twisting behind his back, and Erize was on top of his back.

'What?! So fast!' astounded Fayre. Because she twisted his arm around his back, it was really hurt. "GET OFF ME! You hurt me!" He tried to get up, but he could not do that, because Erize forced his head down on the floor with her hand.

"DO YOU WANT TO DIE?!" asked Erize angrily.

Fayre's face froze with frightening. There was really, really angry looks on her face, almost as if she was leaking murderous intention. He did not understand why she was like that. Last time he punched her in the face, she simply scoffed at him and laughing. But now he slapped her across her cheek, and she went out of control.

Not giving him a time to space out, she roughly grabbed his hair up before slamming his face down on the floor. "ARE YOU FUCKING DEAF?! I SAID DO YOU WANT TO FUCKING DIE?!"

He could not even speak at all. He was too pressure by her ridiculous killing intent. He felt like his body was pulled down by huge amount of gravity! He closed his eyes and slowly breathed in and out to calm himself down. 'Do not be afraid of her. Her killing intent is nothing compared to Coola and his men!'

"ANSWER ME!" Erize screamed. She received no response. She heard him whimpering in fear, but that only angered her further. She snarled. "FUCKING ANSWER ME!"

For very first time in his life, he felt massive fear like that! Even though he experienced killing intent from his enemies, and Coola-sama worse than Erize, he could still feel fear. He wondered if it is because she's a Saiyan or something. All Saiyans were ruthless, so that's probably why he was really scared now.

His head pulled back really rough. He knew Erize was going to slam his face in again, but he did not want to let that happen again. He yelled, "STOP! STOP!"

"THEN ANSWER ME!"

"I… I…I-" Fayre stammered, still in an effect of fear, but it was cut off by Erize.

"YES OR NO?!"

"NO!" yelled Fayre. Even though he answered her, she still slammed his head on the ground, and then held him to the ground.

"Good. Now be quiet or I will fucking slam your head again!" She threatened. She could hear him gulping nervously. She smirked. 'That's good… But still…' She narrowed her eyes, staring at his back. 'Obito missed his vital by an inch. Did he miss that much or…?'

She proceeded to place her hands on his back, as they were glowing green, seemingly healing him right now. "Do you have any idea what you've done?"

'Hn…' Fayre thought. He knew he could not even think, or that would be annoying her. He did not want to experience his head slamming on the ground again. He had no idea what he had done anyways.

"Do you realize how serious danger you are in that situation?" Erize sighed. "Your brother…" She heard Obito scowling. "He almost killed you. But you're so lucky that I'm sealed inside you. Otherwise, you'd be dead long ago. However, because I haven't completed restoring you to fully health, and you forced my hands off with your childish tantrum, at any moment, you could have died."

Fayre gasped. He could have died if she stopped healing him? But then why was he still alive? Or was he already dead?

"But you're so lucky. You're still alive. I was able to stop your bleeding. If I haven't stop your bleeding, you would have died as soon as you forced my hands off. But I'm not done healing you. Now I need to stop your internal orgasm bleeding. Then I need to restore to your previous state as you were before you fought Obito. Everything included your stamina, chakra, Ki, and wounded on your body. Stopping your outside bleeding was a stage one. Stage 2 is a process that I have to stop your internal bleeding. Because you forced my hands off, I have to do stage 1 all over again since you're bleeding right now. Only if your head were clear enough, dumbass."

After a long while, she finally managed to stop his bleeding from the outside. Now she moved on to deal with his internal bleeding which lingered there for a while.

"Good. Looks like I am done with your bleeding. Now you'll need to stay calm and relax, so I can stop your internal bleeding. There's too much blood inside. You would have been healed fully by now, only if you're not throwing a tantrum like a brat!"

Fayre grunted, but said nothing. He did not want to incur Erize's wrath after all.

Erize sighed. "While we're at it, we need to talk about you and your issue." She finally let go of Fayre's arm that she twisted it around a while ago. She could see that he was relaxing and stretching his arm a bit. "Why did you not listen to me? I warned you many times, but you chose not to listen to me. Because of that, you let your guard down and you allowed Obito to use an opportunity to kill you. My advice is logical, yet you denied me several times. Why?" She now proceeded to move to final stage of healing after she dealt with his internal bleeding. Now she's going to restore him to his previous state.

Being restrained to the floor, he could only turn his head over his shoulder. He looked into Erize's eyes. Her eyes were cold and disappointed. It made her look like she was ashamed of him to be her son.

He realized she was right. He should have listened to her advice. Because he did not listen to her, he almost died now. He thought she was wrong, because she did not know Obito well. He thought he only knew Obito very well, and that no one knew him well. He thought he could trust Obito to change his mind.

Obito stabbed him… That was what left of Obito on his mind. His own brother stabbed him and nearly killed him. Obito was no longer his brother he knew before. His brother was not the same as before. His own brother did not care about him. His brother would do anything to achieve his most absurd goal, even if it means to end justify the means, like killing him. His own brother was not his brother anymore.

He hissed, as he clenched his fists and tears filled his eyes. He felt hatred within him towards his own brother. He hated his brother for not coming back to him after he was still alive. Hated him brother for going into the dark path. Hated him for serving under their traitor ancestor, Uchiha Madara. Hated him for trying to rule over the world. Hated him for betraying Konohagakure and him. Hate him for trying to kill him. Even worse of all, he HATED him for assisting Itachi to massacre entire Uchiha clan, but Sasuke.

That man… His brother—No… Uchiha Obito was…

"Now done. You're all healing." Erize said. She got off from his body, allowing him to get up. "But first… There's something I need to tell you."

Fayre stood, as he looked down with his hair shadowed over his eyes with his back facing her. He did not retreat into the reality immediately. He stood, seemed like he was ready to listen to her.

"Do not die." She warned him, showing a slight of her concern over him.

He froze, slightly shocked. A Saiyan female worried about him? That's so unusual for Saiyans. They normally did not show a concern over anyone. They usually never cared about everyone but themselves, unless their name is Goku.

"I do not want you to die. You are my son. Saiyan and Elementian, and most important part of all, a most prominent clan in Konohagakure, Uchiha clan, are in your blood. You also come from an extinct race and clan, along with only two pure-blooded Saiyans survivors and two pure-blooded Uchiha clansmen survivors. You have survived many near-death experience. As you are aware, you increased your power every time you're on brink of death. You also know that I've been sealing inside you since you were 6 months old. I am the reason you're still alive right now, even after your most recent near-death. But—"

"Why are you telling me all of this?" Fayre finally spoke up without glancing once at her. "If I already know all of them, why are you telling me? Why now?"

She slowly closed her eyes and sighed. "I'm telling you all of this is because…" She paused for a moment there. Then she reopened her eyes. "… I cannot heal you anymore."

Obito's Dimension

Obito stared down at Fayre's dying body. With a sigh, he turned around and began walking away, preparing to teleport himself out of this dimension. But then he felt the surge of aura winding over him. He jolted around, and his eyes widened.

Fayre already unleashed his white aura shrouded around his body. It was not large as most Ki users, but about medium aura, yet it was strong enough to overwhelm his opponent.

Here he stood, with his head bent down and hair shadowed over his eyes. "Obito-nii— No…" He barely spoke, pausing for a moment again. That's right. That man was… "Obito…" He corrected himself. "As of now, I declared that you are…"

Obito almost killed him. He just realized that they were just like Sasuke and Itachi. Except Itachi did it for good reason and Obito did not. Now he was filled with hatred towards his own brother—No, that man was…

"NOT MY BROTHER!" Once again, the sheer power of his aura alone spiked higher, as well as enlarging it, which the wind bellowed over and barely pushed Obito back, who used the chakra on the sole of his sandals to prevent from knocking away.

"W-What…?" baffled Obito. He was taken aback when Fayre moved his head up, revealing his Mangekyo Sharingan. But these eyes… They were furious. They were hatred. A hatred towards him. At that moment, he knew Fayre was starting to hate him. But he knew why. Nonetheless, he was slightly scared. 'What… What kind of power is that?'

"You're NOT my brother… ANYMORE!" He screamed and unleased all of his anger inside his chest, increasing the height of his aura and the wind as well, bellowing over everything in place. "YOU ALMOST KILLED ME, OBITO!" He spat that name almost as if it was taboo to him now. His temper flared, as he pushed his aura to further height. Obito had to raise his sword—Fayre's sword—in front of his face, as his feet was pushed back, skidding to the edge of the rectangle prism.

"Calm down! Remember I told you not to die? Not let your anger control you. When you're angry, your head—" Erize's voice was interrupted, as Fayre cut her off.

'I know. I could not contain all of rage inside me, so… I had to unleash all of that, so I can show how much angry I am really. To show Obito how angry I am. But I am calm down. Right now, I am filled with hatred, for that he is more than willing to kill me right here and now. So I'll do the same to him. I will show him why no one should mess with the Black Rogue.'

He earned that title of 'Black Rogue' across the universe when he landed at planet Theunus, and sneaked into the most prominent royal palace in the universe. He assassinated the monarch named King Nicolas Eventide XIV when he was giving a speech to his civilians during the night on the order by Emperor Coola. Once they witnessed his death in front of them, a certain kingdom where King Nicolas Eventide ruled were in uproar, while the entire planet heard about that kingdom. Some of their enemies cheered for him finally to be able to die. Some of their allies trembled in fear before him, and some of them were shouting angrily at him.

Anyways, it was his first mission given by Coola when he left planet Element.

That's how he was nicknamed Black Rogue. It only did not stay in that planet, it started to spread out all across the universe, and he was now well known. Only that some planets like Element or Earth did not heard about his title, since they had no business with aliens after all.

But here on this planet, he also had a title called by his fellow races. 'Black Shadow' and 'Twin Sword Dual-Wielder'. They were only known to Element. While he liked these titles, he preferred 'Black Rogue' since that name fitted him well than his two old titles.

Obito could not believe it. He never had seen a power like that before. 'What's that? That sheer power of his alone could destroy the planet if he wanted to! Why did he not use his Ki when he fought Itachi, and his opponents before him?' For some reason, he could sense enormous Ki coming from his younger brother's body. He was not supposed to be able to sense, but there it was, sensing a huge power that resides in Fayre that recently unleashed. He was dripping with a load of sweating right there. He wondered if he could beat Fayre right here. 'Is this his full power? I never thought I'm going to be overwhelmed by my little brother.'

Fayre noticed that Obito gritted his teeth with sweating on his head and his entire body quivering. He smirked. 'Good.' He could wipe Obito off the face of this planet if he wanted to. But there was no need for him to use Ki powers to defeat Obito. He shrunk his Ki aura before vanishing.

Obito curled his eyebrows, in confusion. Why did Fayre shrink his KI? Was he not going to kill him right here with his Ki? Did he demonstrate Obito how much strong he really was? Not only that he was relieved that he was not killed off right now, but he was clearly anger that his younger brother looked down on him and thinking he was really weak.

"Why? Why are you not using Ki against him? I told you that—"

'Not worry, Erize.' Fayre interrupted her in his mind. 'I am not going to die. You told me that you cannot heal me anymore. So that's why I'm going to survive it. It's good thing that Coola cannot sense my Ki powers, since we're in different dimension which completely sealed our Ki powers. But… There's no need for me to use Ki against him when I could use my full power chakra. Yes, I'm going to use my full power chakra for first times in a while since I left Element… without the use of my twin swords.'

'I see… Don't die.' Then there was no more words from Erize. It seemed that she was proud of him and left him alone.

From on now, he was going to listen to her, regardless if she's crazy bitch. Whatever he would take to survive, he would listen to her, but of course, with some limitation. Like he would not listen to her if she told him to destroy Konoha or Element or his precious people.

"Obito, that's my sword. I will be taking it back if you don't mind." He said with mixed of politeness and anger in his tone. He grabbed the scroll from his pouch and opened it and raised it up. His Mangeyko Sharingan spun around few times before completely halting.

The sword that Obito held suddenly released from its grip, as he tried to reach for it to get it back, but it drifted away and went into the scroll along with the other sword, and completely sealed them.

Fayre put his scroll back into his pouch. "Obito, I am going to kill you. Let us exchange our blows for one more time. My full power chakra against yours. After all, we're exhausted, and we both wanted our fight to end right here and right now. If I win, you take me back to real world. If you win, you can do as you like to."

"Fine. But I will win," said Obito.

Fayre scoffed. "It won't be possible. I've demonstrated how large my Ki is. Who to say that I haven't increase my chakra in my training? I'll have you know that I've been working on improving my chakra when I was with Coola. It is not exaggerated when I am going to say what my level of chakra would be if I were to go all out. My skills would be on Hokage level. Don't fret, I can control my chakra. I can adjust my chakra to any level I want to. What about you? Oh, wait. Was your dream to become a Hokage, right?"

Obito scowled. "It is no longer matter. I am not the same guy you knew. Right now, my goal is to extract all nine biju to create my project… Infinite Tsukuyomi!"

"Then you must also know that I won't let you do that!" Fayre laughed. "I will purge roots of all evil, and you are one of them. I will destroy you for what you are… Evil!"

Obito had no intention of starting a move until Fayre would make a move. Knowing his young brother, he would usually become impatient and execute his move right away.

But… The former masked man blinked his eyes, and suddenly, Fayre disappeared out of nowhere. "What?!" He could not track Fayre even with his single Sharingan. In order to track Fayre at that tremendous speed, he would need two Mangekyo Sharingan!

Then next second, he found the boot connected into his stomach, almost as if Fayre drove his foot through his chest. It turned out that was the minimum damage he could handle. It was beyond the damage he could handle. His body was not high enough to tolerate that kind of damage. Even it caused the blood to spew out of his mouth.

What was that? That level of damage could be only done by Tsunade. That was impossible if someone else could do that similar level of damage, yet Fayre did it, even if he did not use Ki. What kind of taijutsu did Fayre learn?

Obito quickly fell to his knees and clasped his stomach in the pain. 'Damn it!' He gasped for a bit. He had a hard time to breathe, with all the force he took to his guts. He slammed his free fist on the ground repeatedly before looking up at Fayre who shot down at him with his cold eyes.

"How pathetic." Fayre sneered. "To think you'd stoop to that level, Obito. I'd not go as far to stoop that level. Create a world where there is a peace… where there is no war… where there is no violence… and where everyone can live a happy life?" He shook his head, scoffing at the idea of his enemy. "Don't be ridiculous! There's no such as that! There will never be a peace. There will be never-ending war for eternity. Even if someone achieved a peace, it must be achieved through a war, but it will only lasted certain number of years. There will be always cycle of hatred. Someone will do something terrible to you and you or someone will try to use a revenge on them after previous event, and rinse and repeat. No matter what… But with your pathetic dream, you're trying to achieve something that will never become reality. Your pathetic dream lead people to live out their dream in their remaining life, and it will also lead to starvation in reality as well. You're going to waste their life by just living in a dream that probably never happened in real world."

"Shut up!" Obito hissed. He arose quickly and lunged towards at his younger brother, only to miss, as Fayre disappeared once again. He quickly turned his head, only to meet his cheek with the backhand fist, staggering back. He still stood and rubbed his injured cheek, as he shot a glare at Fayre whose arm still lifted.

Fayre let his arms down. "I am not done talking! Do not interrupt me!" Fayre warned him without giving a single glance at him. "So I've been wondering why you're chasing that pathetic dream of yours. Why are you creating a false world? What drove you to pursue that project? What made you think it's okay to force everyone's wills to live their dream? Is it because of Rin's death? Is it because you've witnessed your own comrade killed the love of your dream? That's what drove you to do that? I assumed yes. But I wanted to ask you why, but of course, you're not going to give me an easy answer. So I'm going to answer my own question. You're doing this because of Rin. You're doing for your own sake, so you can live together with her. Nothing more."

"That's not—"

Fayre whirled around to face clearly frustrated Obito. "YES! That's true! You're not doing this because you realized this is the world you have to face. It's the harsh reality you have to face. You realized your naivety. You realized your ignorance. You realized there will never be a peace as long as it continues like that. You're not doing that. You're doing this because you WANTED Rin!"

"Stop—"

"You're doing this for your own sake. In order to live together with Rin, you started your goal—no, that traitor's goal by extracting all nine Biju to create a world where there is a peace. A 'perfect world'. But by doing that, this will be the cause of Fourth Shinobi World War. So…"

Although clearly frustrated, Obito simply stared in disbelief at his sudden chatter brother. Fayre was never the type to talk too much until now. That was kind of uncharacteristic of him right now.

Fayre raised his arm, as he clenched fist in front of his face, what seem like he was going to make an impact words. "Basically, you're going to start a war, not because you wanted to create a world where there is a peace, but it's for Rin!"

Much to his surprise, Fayre was left stunned with the fist connected to his face. 'Here I thought I was faster than him. But he's so fast!' Just before he recovered, Obito disappeared before his eyes!

He tried to locate Obito as soon as possible, but he found himself lurching forward, realizing that his opponent just kicked him from the behind. He managed to place his hand on the ground to prevent from further staggering before jumping away to the ground. He looked up at Obito who already weaved through a series of hand signs. He knew what that hand signs were for.

He realized that it was going to be another giant fireball. With Obito's rage, it was going too hard to counter with the similar technique. So he was going to do the different way to counter it.

Now he remembered what kind of technique he should use in a matter of second. He quickly weaved through a series of hand signs.

"Katon: Gokakyu no Jutsu!" Obito finally released a large amount of fireball coming right out of his mouth, but at the cost of being huge, it moved at very slow speed towards his younger brother, but there was no room for a targeted person to move out.

Fayre screamed as he slammed his hands on the floor. "Doton: Doryuheki! (Earth Release: Earth-Style Wall)"

Large wall slowly elevated from the floor itself, of course causing the entire rectangle prism to quake. But it was not finished. Not until it fully reached a certain height where he wanted it. Otherwise, it would not be sufficient to stop the large fireball that was heading for that direction. Luckily, it was slow. Hopefully, it would make it in a time.

After a long moment, as soon as the large wall finally reached pretty tall there, the large amount of fireball landed, causing a small explosion.

Boom!

But it caused massive dust surrounding the wall. Even though they could not see through the massive dust, both Fayre and Obito immediately climbed up along the wall from the opposite side to the top of the wall by just using their feet alone. Once they landed on the top of the wall, even though there was a massive dust there, they picked up their own kunai and immediately charged towards each other.

They crossed their kunai each other, as they struggled against each other, trying to overcome their strength each other. They laid off from each other, but it was only for a moment before they parried each other.

They desperately fought each other to survive. None of them were willing to give up no matter what. That's because they had 'never-give-up' in their blood. They did not know how long they have been fought each other since the beginning. Recently, after Fayre summoned the wall, they felt like it was an hour since then.

But it was actually ten minutes since then. They looked like they have worn out their energy now. They began to slow down, but still lunged at each other with their kunai. They defend very well. They held each other very well. Little did they know, they actually went to kill each other, despite them being brothers.

Eventually, Obito managed to overcome Fayre with his strength. He pushed him away and swung his kunai, but instead, he staggered forward, because his younger brother ducked his head, barely missing the kunai to his head.

Immediately following by that, Fayre elbowed him in the guts, causing him to bent down. Also following by it, he gripped the hilt of his kunai tightly and swung upward, intending to stab his chest.

Obito knew what Fayre intended to do, so he used the force on his entire body to move back. He did it successfully, but the kunai barely scratched his left cheek, bleeding. He gritted his teeth in frustration, as he also swung his kunai horizontally, only to also scratch Fayre's cheek who tried to jump back.

Fayre wiped the blood off his cheek, clearly frustrated on his face, too. He gritted his teeth, glaring at Obito who also shot back a glare. Then his face became determination. He raised his kunai in front of his eyes. He would not give up no matter what.

Obito wiped the blood off his cheek as well. He hissed. He raised his kunai in front of his eyes along with his determination face. He also would not give up no matter what either.

"I…" Fayre and Obito spoke simultaneously. Their feet stepped forward, but it started off as a slow. "…will not…" With each steps, their speed started to increase and increase, as they started to run towards each other. "…GIVE UP!"

When they both were closer to each other, they both swung their kunai, intended to kill each other.

That was the moment when they remembered their great moments with each other. Sometimes, some of these moments are stupid, but funny. They had a good life together. They always trusted each other. They never lied to each other. They bonded together well. Sometimes, they disagreed with each other. Sometimes, they got in fight few times. But they always loved each other. They respected their boundary. They always laughed and smiled happily together. They thought no one could sever their bonds, or at least Fayre alone thought that.

But here they were, killing each other, as if they hated each other so much. They no longer cared about each other. They both were willing to kill each other to survive for their own ambitious. Fayre was to find the truth about Kakashi and killing Coola, and Obito was to create a world where there would be a peace. One was for good reason. One was for bad reason.

They skidded each other, as they stood in frozen. At that moment, it was almost as if they never harmed each other, but it was too good to be true.

A little part of Fayre's shoulder spilled with a lot of blood. He fell on his knees, with his free hand clutching his injured shoulder. But at least, he would survive it. He eventually would have to bandage his shoulder up when he defeated Obito.

Obito, on other hand, had his shoulder erupted up with thick blood, as he screamed, immediately falling onto the floor. He writhed in agony, screaming in pain. He lost too much blood. It would seem that Fayre severed his shoulder up, in opposing to Obito did his shoulder.

Obito looked like he took more damage than Fayre did. Only reason why Fayre did not have too much damage was because he was healed by Erize recently. Although he looked a bit of heavy damage, but he looked healthier than Obito right now.

A hard fight between Fayre and Obito were about to end in this very place and time soon. The final attack between them would ensure the victory in either of their favor.

They staggered, but they got up very slow and nice, as their back were facing each other. None of them would look directly at each other. All they did was panting, taking a time to gather their oxygen back. They were losing bloods by every moment. If they're not going to end this fight right now and here, they would die soon.

Fayre knew he would not receive healing anymore. If he allowed that to happen to him, he would die. He was greatly upset after learning that he was not immortal as he seemed to be. He always thought he would always survive after a terrible wound to his body as long as he had Erize sealing inside him. He remembered about what Erize said to him.

Flashback Began- Few Minutes Ago- Fayre's Mindscape

Fayre whirled around with his shock face, looking directly into her eyes. "What?! Why not?! Why won't you heal me anymore?!"

Erize frowned. "As much as I don't want you to die, there's nothing I can do about it. On contrary to real world, here inside you, my Ki and Chakra were depleting."

"What?" Fayre muttered, shocked. But what worried him more was that she used the term 'were'. "What does that mean?"

"Unlike the biju who seemed to possess unlimited supply of chakra, I am different. An alien who sealed me up inside your stomach have a different way of sealing method. I could do whatever I like inside you, but there's some certain restriction. With each chakra I used, it is lost forever. I never replenished a certain amount of chakra. That kind of seal method was done to prevent a sealed person to escape from jailer's sealing. It also was done to protect a sealed person to cheat a jailer's death as often as many. Since I can use up all of my chakra to escape from this easily, you and I both would have died together. I don't know how, but it seemed like it has some kind of special technique, like if I tried to escape, it would have absorbed my chakra and caused an explosion, which would result in you and me dying. I tried it once, but only a part of my body came out, and there was a little explosion. That was when you were three years old. Of course you wouldn't remember it. You almost died, but I had to heal you.

"That was my first time to heal you. But that amount of chakra was gone. Because you came closer to near-death most of your life, I've healed you too many times. With each healing I've been given you for years, my chakra was depleting. Never recovered that amount of chakra I used up. Right now, my chakra is already running out. I can still heal you, but it won't be enough to heal you. It will be like healing a simple scratch.

"Now you understand why I kept telling you not to rely on me all the times. Otherwise, something like this happened! Idiot, only if you've listened to me before… But no, because of your grudge against your own mother, you're too blinded by your hatred!"

Flashback Ended

Fayre chuckled. 'Damn… I am too blinded by my own hatred, indeed! But I won't die that easily! I'm going to finish this fight right here and now!'

Once again, both Obito and Fayre lifted their kunai up, as they spun around, swinging their arm to hurl the kunai towards each other, and following by it, they charged towards each other. Kunais were flying towards each other, but narrowly missed by each other, as they continued on way to their intended target.

With every steps, there was a crack on the top of the wall, what seemed like the wall was about to crumble. They noticed that the kunai were flying directly towards their head respectively, so they were prepared for that. They slightly titled their head before the kunai could embedded into their head, as they continued to head at each other.

They grunted louder and louder every time they stepped forward. They raised their dominant arms up in preparation of throwing a fist around. Fayre's dominant arm was left. Obito's dominant arm was right.

"OBITO!" Fayre screamed, before propelling his fist towards a said opponent.

"FAYRE!" Obito screamed, before also propelling his fist towards a said opponent.

However, their fists never connected together. Instead, their fists went past each other's arms towards their face. It turned out that they blew each other's face with their fists right at their cheek. Fayre's arm was a little over his opponent's arm.

Thanks to the force that both Fayre and Obito punched each other, they winded up knocking away from each other, as the wall finally fall apart and scattered all across the place.

While both men were falling, Fayre just noticed that Obito began to use a vortex thingy that would teleport him back to real life.

With a hustle move to make, he quickly grabbed the scroll and opened it up before summoning only one of his twin swords into his hand, growling. "I'm not letting you go! You have to take me back there!"

He found pretty large intact of rubble from the wall floating behind him. He spun around backward and landed on the rubble before hurling himself towards his older brother. He saw that Obito's body was about to go away soon. But the vortex was not gone yet. He could see a remain of his face while warping. But he was still too far!

'Shit! I can't make it in time! I have to…' He realized if he could not make it in a time, then he would be trapped in this dimension forever, and it would mean ensuring Obito's victory. 'I HAVE TO…!"

Suddenly, he felt his Ki surging out of him, as he unleashed the aura before increasing his flying speed and pointing his sharp sword at him.

"What?!" yelped Obito. His younger brother collided with him. However, his expression looked rather dreadful, and his eyes were shaking, too, before they both were going into a vortex.

Other World, Kaio's Planet- With Minato, Kushina, and Rin

Kaio's shoulders suddenly tensed.

Minato noticed that, so he asked him. "What's wrong, Kaio-sama? Is there something happening at Element?"

"Fayre… and Obito…" Kaio stammered, before speaking smoothly again. "They are back. But one of them is down right now."

"What?!" cried Minato and Kushina. Who was down right now? Obito? Fayre?

Rin frowned, deeply saddened by the event. She wondered if Fayre found out that Obito was his brother. She did not wish to know what Fayre's reaction to Obito would be. But she was more concerned about who was down. She cared about both of them. She did not want both of them to die anyways.

Forest, Land of Fire- With Fayre

There was a pound of bloods spreading on the grass, with the man lying on the floor and there was other man kneeling besides him, with the sword already impaled the first man on the floor held by the second man.

The man on the floor was Uchiha Obito, and the man kneeled by him, holding the hilt of his sword that already impaled into Obito's chest was Uchiha Fayre.

Fayre's tears began to fill his eyes, as he slowly removed the sword out of his older brother's chest, who seemed like he was about to die soon. "Obito…"

Suddenly, he felt the heavy rain pouring everywhere across the forest. But he did not care about the sudden change of weather here. He could not believe he was the one who actually killed his brother.

"Sorry…" He gritted his teeth and clenched his fists, allowing his tears to cloud his eyes. "I am so sorry… that I…" He sobbed, trying to hold back his tears, but he could not. He literally stabbed his own brother. "I… I killed you… But you know…"

He slowly placed his sword with Obito's blood stained on the blade on the ground, and then carefully pulled his older brother to his chest in embrace, mourning. "I… I had to do it… This is only way to do it. I had to kill you, because I realized if you die, you'd go on to see Rin, and maybe… maybe…"

Even so, he still could not believe that he actually had a courage to kill his own brother. Was it because he was so angry or something? But he was glad that he allowed his anger to somehow control him, so he could do something for his brother. Otherwise, he would never try to kill his brother.

"Maybe… Rin will change your mind, and then I would bring you back to life, so I can see the old Obito again. I wanted you to arise as your old self, rather than the current you. That's all I wanted from you. Don't worry… Once I've defeated Coola, I will bring you back to life, so I can see your smile again." He laughed, but it only diminished quickly, as he went back to cry.

Other World, Kaio's Planet- With Minato, Kushina, and Rin

"Can you tell me—no..." Minato shook his head and took a big sigh before resuming. "Can I see what's going on there?"

Kaio nodded. "Go ahead." He stood, watching over planet Element where Fayre and Obito were at right now.

Minato and Kushina looked at each other before she nodded at him, earning a nod back, too. He looked at Rin, who was nervous to hear who was going to die right now.

He sighed. He was also nervous. He worried about these both guys, and he did not want both of these guys to die. It did not matter who died, but he was still nervous to find out who died.

With a sigh to calm himself down, he slowly walked towards Kaio-sama and then placed his hand on master's back. After a while, he finally was able to pick Fayre and Obito's Ki up. He was shocked to see that Obito was the one who died, and Fayre was the one who killed him.

"Who is it? Is it Fayre? Is it Obito?" asked a concern Kushina. She immediately asked this question when she saw the expression on her husband's face. His expression looked like he had seen a ghost like that.

Minato frowned. "It's… It's Obito." Now all the evidences of Tobi being Obito were now a fact. But he was more upset that Obito had to die like that.

Kushina widened her eyes and put up her hands to cover her mouth. "No way… Obito-kun…" She was saddened by the news that Obito just died. Rin was also saddened but she knew what she had to do now, knowing Obito recently died.

"Fayre is the one who killed him." Minato announced. "But Obito's mask is broken. I think Fayre found out who he was."

"But why did Fayre kill him?"

"I'm sure Fayre has his reasons. Maybe it's because Obito assisted Itachi to massacre, or it's because Obito tried to destroy the village about 15 years ago. I don't know what. But…" He paused before resuming again. "He's crying right now. He must have a hard decision whether he should kill his brother or not."

Forest, Land of Fire- With Fayre

It was still raining really hard. Fayre was still hugging his older brother into his chest, crying. His chest hurt like a hell. Now he regretted everything. Only if he could have done something. Only if he had recognized Obito when the Kyuubi attacked the Konoha. Maybe… Everything would have been different. Even though he knew he could bring his brother back to life, he was still crying. He felt horrible after killing his own brother. He felt like he was not good brother to Obito.

'Damn… I am a true failure.'

"Fye…Don't cry…" A weak voice spoke into his ear.

Fayre looked up from his head being buried into his brother's shoulder. "Obito…? Are you… still alive?" From what he could see, Obito looked like he was going to die. His breathing was ragged. If he tried to speak up, he would cough up the blood. It was like his life was drawing from his body right now.

"N-No…" Obito spoke weakly. "I'm… I'm going to die… But I… I want to tell you something…" At least he could do for his young brother.

"What is it?"

"I knew you would kill me…" Obito gave his brother a soft smile. He could see that his brother was confused right now. "You… you are my brother. I… I -I" He quickly coughed with his internal bleeding coming out of his mouth. "I couldn't… I couldn't bring myself to kill you. Not even… when I was angry… I still couldn't kill you… Yet you're… able to kill me…"

Fayre was confused again. If he recalled correctly, Obito was the one who did not hesitate to kill him a while ago. A sword into the chest. He could still feel the sword into his chest, but it was not there. He still remembered the feeling.

Obito chuckled weakly. "I purposely… missed your vital by one inch… so it would make me look like I intended… to kill you. That's why… I… I made you do this. I knew… that you would have no choice but to… kill me."

Fayre froze in place. He could not believe what Obito was telling him. Why did Obito purposely miss his vital? Now he was really confused. He lost his temper and he went to kill his older brother.

"Then why did you let me kill you?!"

"I wasn't…" Obito said again, but death slowly came to him. He would not have a lot of time left. "That is… why I tried to… teleport away… so I can keep you alive… inside this dimension if something bad happened here."

"What? But… if you don't want to kill me, then why would you want to resume that dark path when you could come with me? Why did you make me hate you? You did this in order for me to kill you without a second thought, didn't you?"

"Y-Yes…" For every time Obito opened his mouth to speak, it took a lot of tolls on his body. He could not feel his body anymore. His entire body was numb right now. That's what death looked like, isn't it? He experienced near-death before, but he could not tell at that time since the boulder crushed his body. This time, boulder never crush his body, but instead, the sword skewered his body. Now he realized what death would be like. He would be surprised if he would be still alive. "I had to… Otherwise, you would constantly get in my way of pursing my goal. Fayre… What you are saying about it is… true."

Fayre shocked that Obito finally admitted that his dream of creating Infinite Tsukuyomi was rather beyond ridiculous and absurd. Maybe it was time for the change in him?

"But… I don't care." Obito smiled again. "I am selfish, like you said. I still want to create a world where there is a peace. Hell with that… if I am living inside the dream world, then so be it. I don't care… as long as I am happy with Rin…" All of the sudden, he recently drifted off and closed his eyes, and his breathing stopped.

Fayre watched Obito, waiting for him to say something more. But he realized that his older brother was not talking anymore. He noticed that the dying man stopped breathing. He widened his eyes in horror. In his panic, he shook his brother's body violently, hoping to wake him up. "Obito! Obito! OBITO!"

Obito jolted up a bit, but still lying on the floor, as he grasped for air. Then he looked at Fayre, noticing that his younger brother was crying again. He wished he could hug his brother and reassure him that everything would be okay, but he supposed he could not that since his full body was numb… well, except his right arm. "Don't cry… Fayre…"

Fayre sighed. He was relieved that Obito, at least, was still alive for few more minutes. He wiped tears off his eyes, but it kept flowing from his eyes. He shut his eyes, shaking his head. "I can't stop crying. This time… This time, you're going to die. There won't be anyone left to rescues. There will be no Uchiha Madara since he died sometimes after you met him. Nobody left to rescues you because Coola and his company already destroyed four major villages, and also including a lot of towns and small villages. You'd be lucky if some townsfolk live near here is still alive, and if they see you like that…"

A hand came on his cheek, startling him a bit, but he opened his eyes and stared in shock at his older brother.

"Don't cry, Fayre. Everything will be okay…" Obito smiled weakly, but with each second passed, he had gotten weak every time. "At least… At least I will finally die, and I will finally get to see Rin…" His attention on his younger brother diverted to black clouds which was pouring rain hard. He smiled. He realized that the sky was crying… for him.

But what he did not know that it was not mother's nature, but it was created by one of Coola's men over there at Konoha. It seemed like it indeed spread all the way to nearby Tanzaku Quarters, which it was closer to the border of the Land of Fire.

Obito returned his eyes on his saddened brother again. He realized he still had his hand on his brother's cheeks. He could not feel his right arm anymore, yet it remained on his cheek. He noticed that Fayre got lost in his thought. "Fayre…"

Fayre snapped out of his thought and just noticed that Obito was getting worse and worse. He became dejected. He realized that there would be their last moment together now. "What is it?"

"Come closer…"

Fayre was very confused. Why did he come closer to him? But he did it anyways. He slowly moved his head to the dying man. His older brother would whisper into his ears.

His eyes suddenly burst with tears. "Obito…" He felt like he was having rollercoaster emotion right now. After all these years he believed Kakashi was the one who killed him, but instead, he was the one who killed.

That was the last moment Obito had… He smiled. He was happy to tell him before his last moments. These words were so important that Fayre may always remembered forever.

At that moment, his hand on Fayre's cheek drifted off and fell on the floor, as he already closed his eyes with a smile. There was no more words from him.

Fayre widened his eyes. His heart sunk quickly. At that moment, he realized that Obito was—"Obito…" He tried to shake his body, but there was no response. He cried for his name repeatedly, but he knew that there was nothing he could do to bring his brother back, except he could do only to gather Dragon Balls to bring him back to life.

"Obito…" He sobbed. He killed him! He could not believe that he killed his brother. He felt so horrible for killing his own relative. He had done it twice. His father and his brother. He was overwhelmed by his grief, as he finally had a breakdown. "OBITO!"

Other World- Kaio's Planet- With Minato, Kushina, and Rin

If Obito was truly dead, then Rin knew what she would need to do now. But her heart clenched. She was so nervous, but she found a courage anyways. She turned around and walked towards Kaio's house for a shortcut.

"Hey…" Rin stopped, waiting for Minato to resume. "…where are you going, Rin?" Minato was not too far away from her. He was the first person to notice that she was about to leave.

"Don't tell me you are going to…" Kushina just realized what Rin was about to do right now.

"Yes, that's right." Rin said softly. Then she looked up very determination in her eyes. "I am going to see Obito!"

Forest, Land of Fire- With Fayre

Fayre stood atop the tree where he could view the entire forest from the tallest point, but he also realized that Obito teleported them to nearby Konoha from the dimension. If they're nearby Konoha, that would mean Obito wanted him to kill Coola right here and now. He just finished bandaging up his injured shoulder.

He was calm and collected. He finally stopped his tears. He cried too much, but he realized he needed to stop crying. He would need to complete his goals right now.

Then he recalled what Obito whispered to him.

"I love you." These words were Obito's final words… for now.

Fayre smiled softly. "Yeah… I love you, too."

"Tch…" Erize scoffed. "After all what he had done to you, you still love him? You're unbelievable, you know!"

Fayre ignored her completely. She knew nothing about brothers. Brothers tend to love each other no matter what.

He looked over Konoha which seemed to be in war right now. He saw a lot of fire going on over there. He realized it was most likely coming from Riley Harris. He remembered there was a clear weather before they went into Obito's dimension. Even though they were in dangerous right now, he would need to do something first.

He closed his eyes in contemplation on what he was going to do first.

His current goals were to…

"I am going to… I am going to find Kakashi and discover more truth from him and then I am going to kill you…" He opened his eyes with his still Mangekyo Sharingan, but not only that hatred was leaking, but he also had determination eyes. "Coola!"

With that, he left the area, on way to Konoha, which was not too far away.

However, as soon as he left, two people appeared in front of dying Obito. There were odd female aliens with no hair, but instead, the resembled humans, but only with blue skins. Instead of hair, they possessed semi-flexible, cartilage based scalp crests that grew into shape. They both wore their own unique armor which painted into red and blue respectively.

"Sha'ira…" The first woman said with a concern on her look for Obito. "Is he dead? If so, then why do we have to come all the way to here to pick him up for Lightning?"

"I don't know, Shiala…" But then Sha'ira watched him carefully. She noticed something suddenly moved. She smirked. "No… Look again. He's still alive." She pointed at Obito's fingers, which Shiala would look at it.

Indeed, Obito's fingers twitched.

To be continued…
