Previously:
Kevin: Hey I'm not pouting! Nor do I think it's fair to wrap me in with them! I didn't want to go along with it. In fact I tried to argue against it. Those two agreed I just went with it.
Joe: Hey don't try to blame this on us!
Nick: Why he's right.
Joe: Whatever how are we going to make this up to her?
Nick: I don't know I'm sure you'll figure out a way to fix it.. You always do.
Joe: Wow is little Nicky jealous because I can make violet happy again?
Nick: Your ridiculous joe grow up.
Kevin: Ok stop fighting lets just put out heads together and think.
Nick: I've got it!
I know it's taken me a while to update but it's ok you all survived. So I am gonna shake things up a bit you'll see I've been thinking of a good way to continue the story but with out cussing and I have come up with a way. I'm gonna try to write a longer chapter for you all since I have neglected you for so long. In my defense though I'm taking 11 credits and I work 24-28 hours a week plus babysitting and my photography business. The updates may take me longer but in the 25th I'll be able to write a lot as I will be in the car for about 9 hours all together. To the Jonas brothers we love you and hope everything works out! Please please release the album still we stayed and we always will. Anyways enough chatting on to the story.

(Kevin's POV)
Joe: Well what is it?
Nick: Well remember when we told her she could go on a date with chad alone?
Joe: Yeeaah... Y?
Nick: Well I think we should go tell chad she can go on that date.
Joe: Your crazy! You've lost it! We just said that to make dani happy right Kev!
Me: No I meant it actually. I agree with you nick.
Joe: Well I don't and I'm not gonna allow it.
(Dani walks in)
Dani: Allow what?
Me: Joe is refusing to allow nick and I to go give chad permission to take her on an unsupervised date.
Dani: Well too bad joe because you three already told her she could.
Joe: Yeah to make you happy so you'd get off our backs since your so nosy.
Nick: Joe!
Dani: Fine if that's what you want then I'll stay out of everything from now on.
(She goes back upstairs to the girls)
Me: Joe if I were you I would go apologize to her because I'm about this close to pounding you.
(Joe gets up and walks out the front door they hear his car start and Kevin looks out the window to see him driving away)
Me: I swear I'm gonna punch him when he gets back if dani doesn't first.
-Meanwhile Upstairs-
(Demi's POV)
Violet: I just can't believe they would do that!
Me: Sweetie what did you think would happen?
(Dani comes storming in)
Dani: I can't believe him!
Selena: ut oh what did Kevin do now?
Dani: Nothing it was joe again.
Me: What did he do?
Dani: He told me I'm nosy and that the only reason they said violet could date chad was to "get me off their backs" and to "make me happy.
Violet: What! So they were just lying?
Me: Did they all agree?
Dani: No nick and Kevin were gonna tell chad she could go but joe was being well a jerk as per usual and said he wouldn't allow it.
Violet: Gonna? As in now they're not?
Me: No I think they still will but I'm guessing Kevin's killing joe as we speak.
They suddenly all look at each other with expressions that say CRAP! They all run downstairs knocking nick on the ground in the process.
(Kevin's POV)
Selena: Sorry Hun we wanted to stop Kevin from killing joe. (Nick stands back up with Kevin's help)
Me: He took off after I told him to go apologize before I pounded him.
Dani: Babe I'm sorry I won't get involved anymore.
Me: Violet can you go out back for a little bit? I want to talk to them privately.
Violet: Sure Kev.
Me: Thanks baby girl.
(Violet goes out back and shuts the door behind her.)
Me: Sweetie joe was wrong nick and I both agree you have just as much right to be involved as us. She needs you as well and joe once he gets back will apologize to you. Demi and Selena you are both like family as well so we want you involved no matter what joe says.
Dani: I don't want joe to apologize to me. I want him to understand that I have feelings too and every time he treats me like that it makes me want to punch him repeatedly.
Selena: I think when joe gets back we should all confront him and tell him we are done with his rude attitude.
Me: I think that's a good idea sel.
-Meanwhile-
Joe drives to the park behind the high school he went to. He gets out of the car and walks over to the swings and sits on the one farthest from his car. He's just sitting there thinking when a few guys he used to know walk up to him.
Joe: Matt.. Tom? What are you guys doing here?
Matt: We were walking past and saw you although we thought you were David.
Tom: What are you doing here? We thought you'd be home taking care of your bratty sister? Hahahaha
Joe: Don't make fun of my sister you little bitch!
Tom: What did you call me?
Joe: You heard me!
Matt: Your gonna pay for that!
(They start kicking and punching him anywhere they can. About 5 minutes pass until a cop car puts it's spotlight on them and Matt and Tom run off.) Joe is taken to the hospital with some serious injuries.
-At Their Home-
(Nick's POV)
Where is Joe? It's been two hours since he left and he's not answering his phone.
Kevin: Have you gotten ahold of joe yet?
Me: No I've called his cell but it just keeps ringing and going to voicemail.
Kevin: If he thinks he can just avoid this all by coming home later after we've all gone to bed he's...
The phone rings. Nick gets to it first.
Me: Hello.. Yes this is his brother.. What! Uh yeah ok we're on our way. Thanks bye.
He rubs his hands over his face and hair and looks at Kevin.
Kevin: What? Was that someone who can tell us where joe is?
Me: Uh.. Yeah it was the.. um the hospital he is in the ICU. It's bad.
Kevin: How? What? Huh?
Me: Just get in the car all of you I'll explain on the way. VIOLET...TAYLOR!
Violet walks back inside.
Violet: So what are we... Where is everyone?
Me: I'll explain in the car lets go.
In the car nick explains what they told him on the phone and everyone starts to worry. They all drive to the hospital and head in to the nurses desk.
Me: Hello nurse Gloria we got a call our brother was here in the ICU his name is Joe Jonas.
Nurse: Jonas... Ahh yes he is in room 118. I'll have to ask you all to wait in the waiting room though as he is with the doctor now.
Me: Ok thanks nurse Gloria.
They all sit down across from each other obviously nervous and scared. Nick starts bouncing his knees.
Kevin: Nick will you please stop that! We are all nervous enough.
Me: Sorry.. I just wish we knew if he's ok or not.
Just then the doctor walks into the room.
Dr: Family of Joe Jonas
Kevin: That's us! Is he ok?
Me: What happened?
Violet: Is he dead?
Taylor: No don't tell me he's dead!
Demi: Is he gonna be ok?
Selena: Is he sick?
Dani: Why aren't you answering anyone?
Dr: Well I haven't had a chance to say anything. He's not sick he's gonna be fine he's not dead he was attacked by two men he knew and took some serious blows to his head and chest. He's just gonna need some rest and I want to keep him here for a few days to make sure he didn't sustain any brain injuries or damage.
Me: Do you know who attacked him?
Dr: We do and the police are dealing with it.
Demi: Can we see him?
Dr: Yes but only for a short time he needs to rest and not over exert himself.
Kevin: Ok thanks doctor
They all walk into Joe's room not knowing what to expect.
Violet: Joe...
Taylor: Joey...
Joe: Hey everyone.
Kevin: Joe what happened?
Joe: Well do you remember Matt and Tom?
Me: Yeah.. What about them?
Joe: Well I went to the park behind the high school to sit and think and they approached me and asked what I was doing there since tom thought if be home taking care of my bratty sister. His words not mine and Tom was laughing and I called him a little the word for a female dog. They then attacked me.
Kevin: So this whole thing was over a cuss word?
Joe: Pretty much at least the way I phrased it.
Me: Well then I think we all stop cussing period. Obviously it only leads to violence. (A/N I do not believe this personally.)
Joe: Yeah I agree it's painful. Oww
Kevin: Well let that be a lesson to you.
Selena: I'm just glad your ok.
Dani: Yeah me too.
Joe: Dani I'm sorry I was a complete jerk to you. You have every right to be involved and I shouldn't have said you were nosy or any of that actually.
Dani: I don't want you to apologize joe I just want you to treat me as an equal. I am your sister in law after all.
Joe: Your right. From now on I will.
Violet: (climbs into Joe's bed and lay next to him. Joe puts his arm around her.) Joey I'm so glad your ok.
Joe: Me too baby girl. (He kisses her forehead and notices demi standing behind everyone looking down.) Demz baby what's wrong?
Demi: Nothing.. (They can tell she's crying.)
Joe: Demi come here.
She walks up to his bed and stands next to violet and him wiping her eyes and avoiding their eyes. Joe grabs her hand and she looks up at him. Violet gets off the bed and goes to sit near dani.
Joe: Demz it's ok.
Demi: I'm sorry I just am really glad your ok. I wasn't prepared to see you looking like this.
Joe: I know but I'm ok and I'll be out soon. (He pulls her into him and kisses her softly on her lips.)
(Dani's POV)
Three days later Joe is released from the hospital. He has four broken ribs a concussion and bruises on his face arms, chest, back and stomach.
Kevin and Nick: Joe we need to talk to you.
Joe: Uh am I in trouble?
Nick: No we want to talk to violet and chad but we want to discuss it with you and dani first. Dani walks in.
Me: Discuss what?
Kevin: we want to discuss violet and chad with you both.
Joe: What about them?
Nick: Well we were thinking its time we talked to them and told them they can go on a unsupervised date. We wanted to make sure it's ok with you guys first.
Me: Of course! Joe...?
Joe: Yeah I'm ok with it.
Nick: Ok I'll go call chad and ask him to come over.
Nick calls chad and chad heads over. The door bell rings and Joe answers it.
Joe: Hey chad come on in.
Chad: What's going on? Why did you guys want me and why does Joe look like he's been jumped?
Joe: That's because I was jumped. Long story.
Kevin : We brought you here because we want you to take violet on a date. An unsupervised one.
Chad: Uh ok.
Nick: So is that a yes?
Chad: That's a...
