Nick: It's settled then let's go tell the others Tay. - Hey everyone sorry I've taken so long to update. I've finally settled in enough to write again and take photos. JBJBJBJBJBJBJBJBJBJBJBJBJBJBJBJBJBJBJBJBJBJBJBJBJBJBJBJBJBJB ( Nick's POV) Joe moved back in and it's changed so much. Dani had the baby and her and Kevin named her Alena Rose Jonas. She's so spoiled and not just by all of us. Then there's the fact we released our album but decided to focus on our own stuff for now. It's been different but it's what was needed. Taylor has gotten more comfortable with us and Violet has gotten into a lot of trouble lately. I think Kevin's at his wits end. We'll save that for later. Ohh speaking of the girls I need to wake them up for school. Me: *Shakes Violet* Get up. Violet: Noooo Me: Violet Now! Violet: I'm too tired. Go away Nick. Me: You have to the count of three. Violet: Three. Goodbye now. Me: Ok fine. He walks out of her room and texts Joe for help as he enters Taylor's room. Me: Time to get up Taylor. Taylor: Ok Nicky. What's for breakfast? Me: Just like Joe. It's waffles with the works if your downstairs in 10 minutes. Taylor jumps out of bed and runs into the bathroom. Nick heads back to violets room and can hear raised voices. Joe: Violet you don't get a choice in this matter now get out of bed. Violet: NO! I don't care what you say I don't have to go if I don't want to! Me: What's going on? Violet why aren't you up and dressed? You have to leave for school in thirty. Violet: As I told Joe I'm not going. Now get out both of you! Jerks! Joe: Violet Marie Jonas! Stop being disrespectful! Violet: I'll stop when you both get out and let me sleep! DANI! Nick and Joe look at each other and roll their eyes as they hear footsteps headed up the stairs. Dani: You rang violet? Violet: Yes get them out please so I can go back to sleep. Dani: Guys... Wait don't you have school Vi? Violet: I'm not going. Dani: Uh yes you are. Get up or I'll get Kevin. Violet: Go get Kevin. Now if you don't mind I'm going back to sleep. Dani: Ok you do that come on guys let's go eat. They leave the room and shut the door and go downstairs. Me: Were not gonna make her get up? Dani: Oh she's getting up. I'm gonna make sure of that. I just need to feed Alena which means Kevin is gonna deal with the brat. Joe: Ohh you're good. Make Kevin deal with her. Dani: He's gonna have to deal with a teenage girl eventually might as well start now. Kevin! They hear running footsteps coming towards them. Kevin: What's wrong is Alena alright? Are you ok? Dani: Kev calm down we're fine. I need you to deal with your sister is all. Kevin: Which one... Taylor: Morning everyone. Where's my waffles? Kevin: Ah violet I should have known. Let me guess she is refusing to get up? Me: Yea and she is refusing to go to school. She was disrespectful and rude. Kevin: Well we will see about that. She's going to school even if I have to drag her there kicking and screaming. He heads upstairs. (Kevin's POV) In Violets room. Me: Violet get up now. Violet: Noo. Go away. Me: Violet get up now. Do not make me pull you out of that bed. Violet: Kev I don't want to go to school. Me: I don't care what you want your going and since your going to be late now you have three seconds to get up or risk getting in a lot of trouble. Your choice. Violet: Ugh FINE! This isn't fair I should be able to stay home from school for once! (She gets out of bed.) Kevin: You're thirteen. You don't get to decide anything. Violet: Yes I do! You don't always get to decide what I can and can't do. Kevin: Do you want to try that again young lady? You are the child I am the adult. What I say goes end of story. Now get dressed. Violet: Fine. Kevin goes back downstairs and a few minutes later violet joins them dressed and ready for school. Violet: Better? Kevin: Much now let's go your school starts in five. *A few days later* (Joe's POV) I don't know what's wrong with that girl. I do know one thing though Kevin's at his end with her attitude. I predict within a few days she's gonna push his buttons. Do I feel sorry for her? No not really. I wish she'd have better judgement when it came to certain things but she's brought it on herself. I think I hear them now. Kevin: You will not speak to me that way young lady! Violet: Your so unfair! Your not my father you know! Kevin: I'm your guardian and as your guardian I know what's best for you. What I say goes and if you don't like it too bad. Things are gonna change around here when it comes to you and your behavior. Violet: ( In a sarcastic tone) What behavior? (Normal tone) My behavior is fine. Kevin: Really? If that's what you call fine then we have a bigger problem then I thought. You have been spiteful, Disrespectful and argumentative for a while and I've had enough. Violet: I don't care! Im so sick and tired of being bossed around by... Me: Vi I would shut up before you get yourself into worse trouble. Violet: Go away Joe! You're no better than he is jerk! Kevin: (In her face) You will NOT speak to him like that do I make myself clear! Me: Kev go calm down. I'll deal with her. Violet Upstairs NOW! Violet: Whatever. (She goes upstairs) Kevin: I'm fine. If she wants to act like a child we will treat her like one starting with punishing her differently. Maybe we're too lien ant with her. I think maybe we need to be a bit harsher. Me: Wait you want us to get harsher with her? How? Nick walks up behind them. Nick: Do you mean you want us to use a switch now? Kevin: If necessary... Yeah. She needs to know we're done with the attitude and the bad behavior. We can try switches or increasing how many smacks she gets. Going from ten an infraction to fifteen. Me: Alright if that's what we need to do. Nick: Maybe we should talk to the girls on this. Kevin: Ok but I think they'll agree with me on this one. Joe and Nick call Selena and Demi over while Kevin calls Dani. Once they all arrive they go into the living room to discuss violet. Kevin: Alright we called you three her to discuss violet and what I want to do about her needing an attitude adjustment. Dani: At this point anything is fine with me. I'm so sick of the attitude lately. Me: We want to start being harsher on punishments with her. Treat her like the child she wants to act like. Demi: What do you mean harsher? Selena: Wait do you mean using switches on her? Nick: If that's what it takes then yes. Demi: I don't know. What if you hurt her? Kevin: Obviously we won't be punishing her angry so it won't come to that. Selena: I think it's what she needs at this point. The other day she told me to leave only her words weren't the clean version. Demi: Good point she had been really unnecessarily rude to everyone lately. She told me I wasn't good enough for Joe and in a unclean version I was a worthless piece of trash. Joe: Why didn't you tell me that? Demi: I just ignored her. It was really no big deal. Joe: Babe that's a big deal. She has no right talking to you like that. Kevin: He's right Demz Well from now on anything she says or does to any of us is gonna earn her MAJOR trouble. I'm done. Agreed? N&J&S&D&D: Agreed! *Meanwhile* Violet: They're so annoying Tay! They treat me like I can't make my own decisions. Taylor: Vi they are only doing what they think is best for you. Try seeing it from their point of view. Violet: Who's side are you on? Taylor: Your's which Is why I'm telling you to be careful. You're playing with fire and you're only gonna get burnt in the end. Violet: Whatever. I'm gonna show them they aren't gonna push me around anymore. I'm old enough to decide what I do or don't do. In fact I want to go to Hilary's party. I'm gonna go. Taylor: Vi think about this first please. If you get caught I have a feeling they won't be so nice about it this time around. Violet: Whatever I don't need their permission. Taylor: Ok (Under her breath) But if they ask I'm not lying to them. Violet: What was that? Taylor: Nothing. I'm gonna go downstairs. (Taylor's POV) I want to tell our brothers but I'm torn. I don't want violet to be mad at me but I'm scared she's getting herself into something that is too dangerous. Oh boy here comes nick. Nick: Hey Tay what's up? Me: Uh uh nothing. (Acting suspiciously) Nick: Tay are you ok? Me: Yeahh of course. Why would you ask that? Nick: Your acting nervous. Is there something you want to tell me? Me: Uh yea..I mean no. Everything's good. Nick: Ok then. I'm just gonna... Me: Wait! Yes there is but I don't want to be the tattletale. Nick: Come on let's go out back you can tell me in secret there. *Out back* Nick: Ok what's going on? Me: It's violet she's planning to sneak off to Hilary's party. She's sick and tired of being treated like she can't make her own decisions. I tried talking her out of it but she's made up her mind. I'm sorry I didn't want to be a tattletale but I also don't want anything bad to happen to her. Nick: You did the right thing Tay. Don't worry she won't know you said anything I'll catch her in the act. Me: The party isn't tonight? Nick: I think so I'll call Hilary and find out the details. Me: Ok I'm gonna go practice bowling. *Nick and Hilary's phone convo* Hilary: Hello Nick: Hey hil. How's everything with you and your guys? Hilary: It's good. Luca and Mike are amazing. How are you? Nick: I'm good. Happy and all. Listen I was wondering about your party tonight. Violet plans on going without permission and I was wondering if you could tell me where and when it's gonna be so I can bust her. Hilary: I sent you all an invitation. But it's tonight at 7 and it's at my house. She does realize this party isn't for kids right? Not even Luca will be present. Nick: I don't think she'll care. She's decided she can act like an adult and make her own decisions. Hilary: Well is there anything you need me to do? Nick: No I'll take care of everything. The invite was all I needed. Hilary: Ok well I wish you would all come Mike and I would love to see you. Nick: I'll see what they say. Maybe if we all go she'll think she can sneak out without getting caught. We'll just have to fake our plans. Hilary: I hope you all do. I gotta go but I'll see you tonight. Nick: Wouldn't miss it. See you later Hil. Hilary: Bye Nick Nick heads inside and finds everyone but Taylor and Violet in the living room. (Dani's POV) Nick: Hey good you're all here. Kevin: The girls aren't. Do you want me to call them? Nick: No I need to talk to all of you. So it seems Violet is gonna be going to a party tonight after sneaking out. Kevin: Oh really! We'll just see about that! Nick: Wait. I have an idea. We all go to this party and "accidentally" find her there. That way she doesn't know we knew before hand and we'll have caught her in the act. Joe: Who's party and who's we all? Nick: All of us couples and Hilary's party. Kevin: I think that's a good idea. Dani and I can say were going out to dinner. Dani's parents want to see Alena so well let them take her tonight. Me: Sounds good to me. Joe: Demi and I can say were going to my place. Demi: Uh noo we can say were going to my friends party. She is my friend after all. Joe: Riigghht. What she said. Nick: Cool and Selena and I are going on a date. Selena: Honest and simple I like. Nick: Ok it's settled then. Ready to call the girls down? Kevin: GIRLS FRONT ROOM PLEASE! (They hear them run down the stairs.) Taylor: What's up? Nick: Well we are all going out tonight and you're gonna be left alone for a couple hours. Violet: Where are you guys going? Kevin: Dani and I are going out to dinner. Joe: Demi and I are going to her friends party. Nick: I am taking Selena out on a fun but classy date. Violet: Oh well have fun. Wait. Who's gonna take care of Alena? Me: My parents will have her. I've made you both dinner and we will be back before you have to go to bed. Taylor: Ok have fun. Nick: Well it's 5:30 now so I'm gonna go take a shower and start getting ready for tonight. Kevin: Ohh I need to too. Me: Not before I do! Joe: I think I'm gonna go shower and get ready too. Demi: Can selena and I use a shower too? Nick: You can use our guest bathrooms. Selena: Cool! Let's go Demz! All the adults go upstairs to shower and leave the girls alone. Violet: Now I don't have to sneak out. This is perfect. Taylor: Vi I really think you should reconsider. If you get caught your gonna get in a lot of trouble. Violet: Reconsidering... Yeah still doing it. Now mind your own business. Taylor: Ok fine. Good luck. All the adults leave. Violet comes downstairs dressed in a short skirt and a halter top and Dani's stilettos. She's got her face down up as well with Dani's makeup. Taylor: OMG what are you wearing? Violet: You like? Taylor: NO! Violet: Whatever. I do. Well I'm off see ya later. Violet leaves and arrives at the party in a cab fifteen minutes later. She starts dancing seductively on the dance floor. Hilary sees her and texts nick. Nick sends Joe and Demi to the dance floor. They pretend to bump into violet. Violet: Watch it! Joe: Violet? Violet: What are you doing here? Joe: Hilary is Demi's friend. The real question is what are you doing here? Your supposed to be at home. Violet: I don't care. Joe: Next question what the HELL are you wearing! Violet: Clothes. Demi: Sweetie no offense but you look awful. You shouldn't dress like that. Violet: Shut up! You're one to talk. Joe: Violet! He grabs her by the upper arm and drags her in the house into the kitchen where the others are laughing and having fun. Kevin: (arms crossed)Violet what are you doing here and What the hell are you wearing? Nick: (arms crossed)Yeah that's what I'd like to know. Me: Are those my shoes? Violet: Yeah and? Me: I NEVER gave you permission to wear them. Nor my makeup! Violet: Whatever now if we're done here I have a party to get back to. Selena: What is wrong with you? Why are you acting like a gigantic brat? Violet: Why are you acting like a gigantic skank? Nick: VIOLET! Kevin: I think it's time we all head home. Violet: Ok bye. Kevin: Yeah you're coming with young lady. Violet: Uh how about no. Joe: How about yes. Let's go Violet Marie. (He drags her out to the car by her arm.) They all head back to the house. The boys are furious and the girls (excluding violet) are upset. (Kevin's POV) I cannot believe this girl. How dare she say those things. Joe and nick told me what she said to Selena and Demi. Top off the way she acted with dani and what she wore and her attitude lately and she's had it. I'm so disappointed in her. We are home now so I need to go deal with her. They all get inside and stand in the front room. Taylor is sitting on the couch alone. Nick: Tay can you go to your room please. Taylor: Uh sure (Runs upstairs) Kevin: Joe I need to go calm down take violet upstairs and wash her face and make here change into pajamas please. Joe: You got it! Let's go violet.
