Dani just screamed my name and she doesn't look happy but that's my little sister and I don't like the way they are looking at each other. Now she's walking towards me. CRAP.

Dani: What the hell Nicholas?!

Me: Don't Nicholas me Dani. I don't like the way they are looking at each other she's fourteen for heavens sake!

Dani: Your gonna have to get over the whole dating boys thing Nicholas she's almost 15.

I walked away from her because I don't want Kevin to have a bad birthday. I'll just keep a close eye on them.

Violet: I'm sorry about my brother... He can get a bit intense. In his defense though he's an artist they can be very intense.

Dani: I'd never thought I'd say this but thank you Joe for being the most reasonable one.

Joe: Well I don't see what they are so upset about? She's supposed to grow up. We all knew she was gonna eventually kiss someone. I'm glad it's Bradley he's a good guy and it's obvious they like each other.

Dani: Violet take Bradley and go have fun ok.

Me: Are you serious you're just gonna give them permission to go off alone? Are you kidding me?

Kevin: Yeah seriously are you two gonna right in front of our faces send them off?

Dani: Let's move this into a different room so we don't disturb our party guests.

They move across the hall to a different ball room and shut the door. Demi, Selena, Zac and Jesse all join them.

Demi: Ok what's going on?

Joe: They don't agree with us because we have Violet permission to grow up and get her first kiss from Bradley.

Demi: Aww her first kiss? Wait so Kevin and Nick have a problem with it but Joe and Dani don't?

Selena: Well I think Joe and Dani are in the right.

Me: Of course you both are gonna take their sides. I bet you Jesse and Zac will agree with us though.

Jesse: Uh actually dude I have a sister and I agree you gotta let them grow up. I mean she's gonna date and she's gonna get hurt better you let her and just be there when she needs you rather than her rebel and hide it all from you.

Zac: Yeah I agree with Jesse. Sorry Kev and Nick.

Dani: I can't believe we are in this discussion again. We agreed she could date and yet we are back to this? What happened?

Me: I never agreed to kissing. I never would have agreed to her kissing.

Zac: I may be completely out of my place here but she's smart. I think she's gonna be able to handle whatever comes her way. I mean she knows what she wants and how to handle herself. I don't think you have anything to worry about.

Jesse: I don't think you agreeing to anything is gonna matter to her anyways. We all know that.

Dani: Well you agreed to her dating and you knew dating meant eventually she'd be kissing. Eventually she's gonna be getting married and having kids of her own. You both are just gonna have to learn to deal with it.

Kevin: (Sighs) They're right nick we're gonna have to let her grow up.

Me: Ugh Fine let's just go back to the party.

They all go back and Nick sees Violet and Bradley standing next to Taylor and Peyton holding hands and looking at each other like dani and Kevin do. Joe's standing next to Nick.

Me: They look at each other like Kevin and Dani look at each other. She looks so happy.

Joe: Yeah she does... Do you really want to be the one to make her sad?

Me: No I guess you guys are right I just can't stand knowing she's not that little girl who used to run into my room when she got scared.

Joe: I know... she's not so little anymore.

Demi: She may not be little anymore but she will always love you both. Trust me you three are the most important men in her life.

Joe leans in and kisses Demi.

Joe: Thanks babe for saying that.

Demi: Ooh speaking of Violet she's headed this way with Kev. I'll see you both later.

Violet walks up to them with Kevin.

Violet: Hey can we talk? Not here though.

They walk back into the room across the hall.

Violet: I just wanted to say thank you.

Kevin: I want to apologize to you Vi. You are growing up and I need to accept that.

Violet: You guys are the most important guys in my life so no matter what you will always come before a guy I'm with. I love you all.

Me: I guess I owe you an apology too. I'm sorry vi for freaking out. I guess it's just not easy seeing you're not a little girl anymore.

Violet: I know but just remember I'll always be your little sister. Besides who else is gonna keep you three in check. (She starts to leave)

Kevin: Hey! I do not need to be kept in check!

Me: Me either I handle myself quite well!
