Violet: Diabetes? As in what you have?

Nick: Yes Baby Girl.

Violet: Can I return it? I don't want diabetes.

Nick: Unfortunately not but I'll help you tell the others. We can come up with a creative way together.

Violet: Thanks Nicky.

James: So Vi we have given you some insulin and we are sending you home with a kit and enough insulin for the week. I'm giving nick your prescription and i will check back with you in a month to see how your doing. Since nick is a pro at this I'm only making you stay here overnight. Alright.

Violet: Thanks Dr. Goleta!

James: No Problem you guys take care.

HEY GUYS! I know I haven't updated since December but I finally had an idea. I've taken this time for myself and since y'all were so patient with me I'm updating and making it longer. I'm gonna jump ahead in time so I'm skipping her telling everyone else. It's just this idea came to me after I had this experience recently and I wanted to have violet experience it too so Enjoy!

(Kevin's POV)

So Dani has decided that I'm taking them to the Great mall. Evidently the mall we have isn't good enough anymore so we are taking our plane to San Francisco and then I'm driving us to Milpitas to the mall. This should be fun.

Me: Girls let's go! Plane leaves in 45 minutes!

Dani: We're coming! Just give us a couple more minutes!

Me: There you are. The plane leaves in 30 minutes. You girls got everything?

Taylor: I do.

Violet: Let's see... (Checks bags) Uh... Yes.

Dani: We do and we need to leave so let's go please!

They all get in Kevin's BMW with big rob driving and he drives them to the airport.

~In the plane~

(Violets POV)

We have been in the plane for two hours now and I've been reading Harry Potter books on my phone minding my own business. Unfortunately for me Demi brought her sister Madison who Taylor has decided is her new frenemy and they keep getting into arguments over really stupid stuff! Oh boy they are at it again.. It's really hard to read when they are annoying.

Taylor: You're getting on my nerves just stop talking!

Madison: It's not my problem you can't handle the truth!

Taylor: That's not the truth!

Madison: Uh yeah it is! This is stupid!

Taylor: Just because you don't want to go to the great mall that doesn't mean it's stupid. Stop being an annoying big baby!

Madison: You Know What...

Demi: Both of you separate if I hear another word out of either of you regarding that stupid argument you'll be sorry.

Taylor: Hey Vi where's the guys?

Violet: I think they are getting drinks with dani and Selena.

Taylor: Oh ok.

Kevin: We're back with drinks. What'd we miss?

Violet: An argument and Demi stopping it. Nothing important.

Nick: Ok then who was arguing?

Violet points toward both girls but keeps her head focused on her screen.

Kevin: Taylor what were you and Madison arguing over?

Taylor: Going to the great mall. She thinks it's stupid and I disagree.

Demi: Seriously Kev I love my sister and Taylor but if I have to hear them argue over ONE more stupid thing I'm gonna scream.

Kevin: Girls no more arguing unless you want trouble.

Madison: You're not the boss of us!

Demi: Madison Rose De La Garza Apologize now!

Madison: No it's true and neither are you!

Taylor: Kev actually is the boss of me.

Madison: No he's not! He's your brother not your father!

Demi: I'm so sorry kev I don't know what's gotten into her.

Kevin: It's fine Demi. Madison let me ask you a question.

Madison: Oohk

Kevin: What do you think big brothers ..No.. brothers are there for?

Madison: I dk being annoying?

Violet: (giggling) Well Yes but also they are protectors, friends, confidants, teddy bears and when you don't have parents they are the ones who teach you right from wrong.

Madison: Yeah that was rehearsed. How much are they paying you to say that?

Taylor: You see! She's being impossible!

Violet: Whatever my book is more interesting anyway.

Kevin: Why are you acting like this Madison? Your usually such a sweetheart.

Madison: I'm not acting like anything you stupid jerk. I'm going to the other side of the plane.

Demi: Kev I'm so sorry.

Kevin: It's cool.

Demi: No it's not she has no right to talk to you in that way. I should just let you punish her now instead of waiting till later in the hotel.

Kevin: I can tell you if that was Violet or Taylor they'd be getting punished in front of everyone.

Demi: That's a really good idea Kevin. You can punish her right now.

Kevin: Actually I was talking about you as she's your sister and I wouldn't feel right about it.

Demi: Please Kev. Your much better at these things than I am.

Kevin: Alright. Madison come here please!

Madison: What do YOU want?

Kevin: Excuse me? Your already in enough trouble I don't think speaking like that is your best course of action at the moment.

Madison: Ha! Nothing you can do about it.

Kevin: Alright I've had enough of your attitude young lady! Come here now!

She runs across the room and Joe grabs her.

Madison: Let me go Joseph!

Joe: Sorry Mads but you brought this on yourself. You might as well get it over with.

Madison: No! He's not my dad!

Kevin: I may not be your dad but I care about you. We all do.

Madison: Whatever can I go back to what I was doing?

Kevin: After your punishment.

Madison: Whatever.

Kevin: Let's get this over with.

He grabs her wrist and guides her over his lap.

Kevin: Can you tell me why your in this position?

Madison: I smarted off , was rude and was arguing.

Kevin: Good your getting 20. Ready?

Madison: Not really but...

Smack smack smack smack smack smack owww I'm sorry smack smack she starts crying smack smack smack smack smack smack please no more smack smack smack smack smack smack

He finishes and pulls her up she's crying hard and apologizing. He gives her a hug and she runs into Demi's arms.

Madison: (crying) Immm Sowrrry Demi.

(Pilot: Hello we will be landing in about 5 minutes.)

Demi: All's Forgiven baby girl. Why don't you go wash your face before we touch ground.

~Five Minutes Later~

Kevin: Alright I've rented a car that's gonna take us to the mall. So let's go.

They drive to the mall and park the car. They all get out and start walking inside when violet notices a older gentleman standing by the curb.

Violet: Hey kev. (She Stops)

Kevin: Yeah? (They all stop walking)

Violet: Why does that guy look all dirty and why are his clothes all ripped and stained?

Kevin: Uh well...

Demi: Vi come with me. (She drags her along)

Kevin: Uh Demz... And she's gone.

Violet: Demz...

Demi: Hi how are you? My names Demi what's yours?

... : Hi my name is James and I'm doing good.

Demi: Hi James this is Violet. Violet this is James.

Violet: Hi James can I ask you a question?

James: Sure ask me anything.

Violet: Why are you all dirty and why are your clothes ripped and stained?

Kevin: VIOLET! That's rude!

James: No It's ok. Well violet I'm homeless.

Violet: You don't have a home?

James: No I don't.

Violet: I'm sorry.

James: It's ok. I'm ok.

Violet: You want to join us? We are gonna go shopping in the mall and get something to eat.

Kevin: Violet sweetie I don't think he wants to hang out with a bunch of strangers.

Violet: Pleeease James?!

James: Sure sounds like fun.

Violet grabs his arm and starts dragging him in with her. They spend a good hour walking around shopping in various stores where Violet insists they get James an outfit or two. James then tells his story.

Violet: James how come your homeless? What happened?

Kevin: Violet!

James: It's ok she's curious. I had a great job and a beautiful place to live but that changed one morning when my work was burned to the ground by protesters causing everyone who worked there to lose their jobs. The fire was started by a lit cigarette that one of my coworkers had left and I took the blame because she was gonna be in major trouble if they knew it was her since she had previously gotten in trouble for the same thing. Which is why I lost my house and everything else I owned.

Violet: I'm sorry James I wish that didn't happen to you.

James: Me too.

Nick: Kevin can I talk to you alone for a minute?

Well I wanted to make it really long but this is what I could do. I really tried to write a long chapter but I just can't seem to concentrate for very long lately. I hope you liked this chapter and I will try to write more but I may need to put this story on hold until I can concentrate again. Robin Williams had depression like me and I know trying to make everyone else around you happy because you don't want anyone to feel like you do can make it so your not doing so well yourself. I'm gonna take some time and try to keep myself from falling down farther. Anyways I hope you all are doing well and I'll try to write more.
