Inside The Realm of Steiner, Okabe and Kagari walk over to a light that shines upon their eyes far in the distance. The light radiates very interestingly, as if it is purposely trying to get their attention.

As they get closer and closer, the light gradually becomes a giant circle, emitting a sort of light energy. Okabe becomes shocked with what he is seeing right now. "N-No way, this is…?"

"What is this, Papa?" Kagari asks.

"I don't know. But I have seen this before; when this place was covered in fog. A light that emits some sort of radiant energy. However, I only saw it for a short time. I didn't bother getting closer to it before."

Kagaris head begins to hurt, as her eyes change to yellow, indicating her Beta Version is currently the host. "Judging how we cannot feel anything around this object other than heat, it is some heat source emitting light."

"That's true, nice observation."

Kagari smiles. "Thank you, Papa."

Okabe becomes curious as to what it is. So he walks closer to it even more. After approaching close enough, he observes the object for a moment, and still nothing new. It was something that was emitting heat. "Nothing good or bad seems to be happening currently."

"I wonder why?"

He thinks for a moment. He doesn't want to cause anything terrible, but his curiosity and thirst for knowledge makes him try something. He then puts on his persona. "Well then, there is one thing I would like to try to see if anything happens. That is to touch this object using my right arm that currently has a seal on it!"

"Well, it is worth a shot." says Kagari.

Okabe then does just that, and decides to touch the object with his right hand.

His curiosity revealed the unknown. As he touches the object. it begins to show images. He gets startled by this and quickly takes his off from it. The object then lights up brighter. This shocks Kagari and Okabe with what they are seeing. The object begins showing images of a world that they have never seen before. The place looks very destroyed, and the city images it was displaying looked like a huge war was going on. "What is this….?" Okabe asks.

"The object is displaying images?" Kagari wonders.

"It seems so. But, it looks like a war is happening…." Suddenly, the images begin displaying Okabe and his friends of the Future Gadget Laboratory, fighting within the war. "Wait…...we are within this war?"

"It looks like it."

Then within the images is also a girl who looks like Kurisu. "Wait, Kurisu is there too?"

Seeing the image of that person then begins to make Kagari's head hurt. The most unusual thing is that now this time, Okabe is picking up on Kagari's headache, indicating his Reading Steiner is detecting hers. This makes his head hurt as well. "K-Kaga-ri? W-What's….wrong?"

She can't respond. Her head hurts a lot as she remembers what she just saw. Okabe can only try to withstand the pain at this very moment.

Then, as she focuses very hard to remember, something clicks in her memories. "Attractor…..Field."

The headache quickly subsides. They both manage to regain focus. "W-What did you just say?" Okabe asks.

"I remember these images as Attractor Fields. It was a word that came up from the future using a program in the future to figure out my ability and it's connection to this realm."

'Huh." Okabe sits in shock for a moment. "Attractor Fields is what helped guide me out of the Alpha Worldline and into the Beta Worldline."

"What is an Attractor Field Papa?"

Okabe puts on his persona and responds. "Well, it is a cluster of worldlines that no matter what happens, everything will lead to the same convergence point! Think of it like no matter what happens, chaos will always occur, and it is all thanks to Hououin Kyouma!"

This however makes Kagari suspicious of something. "But, then would this object in front of us represent an Attractor Field?"

Okabe eyes begin to widen about that question just asked. This makes him think to himself with his persona. "Wait… That is actually a good question. But then this would raise more questions. Like why are we now more often in The Realm of Steiner than before? What is the purpose of the place? Why does it exist, and what are the things we are seeing here? The fog that used to cover this place, and the gears we see around this realm…. So many questions! Hououin Kyouma has come across a forcefield of problems!

Then, as Okabe looks at the images being displayed by the object, he notices something different. He knows Kurisu quite well, so he can even recognize the shape of her body. However, when looking at the girl who looks like Kurisu from the object, she has different in body structure. "Wait, this person who looks like Kurisu isn't really her at all."

"What do you mean by that Papa?" Kagari asks.

"This girl has a bigger body structure than what I know Kurisu has. Not only that, she seems to be more athletic than from what I know too."

Kagari takes a moment to think before responding. "Then, would that be Big Sis Kurisu in the future?"

"That wouldn't make sense though." Okabe then puts on his persona. "The Steins Gate Worldline is a worldline of the unknown! It is the only one that defies the laws of convergence through witnessing the divergence in worldlines and events that would have taken hold. For example, the death of Kurisu Makise would have occurred in the Beta Worldline, because that is the convergence point in that specific worldline. But, the Steins Gate Worldline goes against that convergence and because of that, the future is unknown!"

Kagari eyes widen to thinking where Okabe is going with this. "Oh! So then because Kurisu is alive, that must mean we aren't in the Beta Worldline right?!"

"That is correct, my precious daughter. You understand the ways of how worldlines work."

She smiles in happiness for the compliment from her father.

"Now with the main question at hand, this would mean the object we are witnessing is not something to do with telling the future…."

Kagari notices Okabe's voice went silent for a moment. She becomes curious about this and wonders. "Papa, is everything ok?"

Okabe continues to stare at the object. He notices the images displaying events with the future gadget lab members. However, what is strange is everyone seems older than they are currently. This then brings up the conversation he had earlier with Kagari about the term Attractor Field. "Attractor Field, huh…"

Kagari wonders what Okabe meant by Attractor Field, but he is beginning to piece everything together. "The future and Attractor Field, and it's relation to this object…." Then after another moment of thinking, the big realization and theory came before him. "Wait…"

Okabe then thinks to himself. "Ever since the future Suzuha and Kagari arrived from the future, the topic of time traveling and worldlines has been more frequent than ever." His face begins to show more worry. "For some reason, it all especially leads to…...Reading Steiner. The more concerning thing is it also brings up the Divergence Meter quite often too… Then this place….The Realm of Steiner. Only I and Kagari have been able to enter this place so far from what events have occurred. Not only that but, it also has been clear so far it is because of Reading Steiner."

Kagari looks at Okabe a bit worried. "Papa…?"

Okabe then turns to the object. "This thing also displays images of events that I have never seen before. According to Kagari's knowledge from the future, it relates to…...Attractor….Fields….." Then, one word comes up as he speaks up. "Divergence….."

Kagari wonders what he just said, but Okabe continues as he finally realizes, so much more. "No way…."

There is a pause as Okabe questions if his conclusion is correct. However, before he can continue anything else, his head begins to hurt a lot, as Okabe begins to fade out of existence from The Realm of Steiner.

"Papa!" says Kagari as she quickly runs to Okabe to help, but it is too late. Okabe fades out of existence from the realm and manages to reappear back in reality.

Kagari however, continues to stay in the realm, confused and worried for what just occurred. Then, the object she observed with Okabe vanishes into thin air. She now doesn't know what to do, but think of something to also make her leave The Realm of Steiner. "Now I am alone...…..but with my Beta Version. We need to find out how to leave now."

Back in the old lab, Okabe wakes up as if he had a nightmare. But that nightmare is a possibility of it being the truth. His PTSD begins kicking in after not having for some time. Things about diverging through worldlines and countless time traveling events begin rushing through his brain. The fear of witnessing the death of Mayuri, the death of Kurisu, it all resurfaces in his mind as if it was reality again. This time, he cannot control the memories and emotions he is going through.

However, Okabe suddenly then gets a slap on the right cheek as he toppled over to the ground from where he was sleeping for the night. He takes a moment to realize he is in reality, and then turns to see who just slapped him. To his surprise, it is the future Suzuha.

"You're finally awake." She says

"Suzu….ha." says Okabe.

"Don't you realize the time? It is close to 5 pm!"

Okabe looks at the clock and realizes Suzuha is correct. This makes him then think he has most likely been in The Realm of Steiner for over 16 hours since he fell asleep. However to him, it wasn't that long in the realm. "I was asleep for that long….." he says with a soft and shocked tone.

"Yes, you were. And judging from how you reacted when you woke up, your PTSD kicked in."

There is a pause, as Okabe gathers his thoughts. "S-Sorry Suzuha. Something strange occurred last night which wouldn't wake me up till now."

She sighs. "Tell me about it. Was it another nightmare you had, or something else?"

There is another pause. "B-Both."

Over at the mall, Kurisu and the group she is with have managed to gather every gift they need to prepare for the Christmas party for every lab member and Birthday party for Okabe arriving in a couple of days.

Around the mall, Kurisu and Yuki walk together to look for a store that would have something nice that would be a good gift for Okabe.

Then, Kurisu decides to look at her locket necklace she has that was given by Okabe back in July. She takes a good moment to cherish the item because it was given of course by her boyfriend who she loves more than anything. Then, she thinks of the plushie she received as well. This is really frustrating her a bit about what gift to get for Okabe. "This sucks. I don't know what could be equal or better of a gift than what Okabe gave last time."

"You mean the locket necklace you wear and the plushie you got from Okabe-san?" Yuki asks.

"Yeah. I can't think of anything that can top this gift."

This makes Yuki think for a moment. She considers why both Kurisu and Okabe cherish this gift. Well it is obvious for one that the gift is from each other who also love each other. But then, the theory quickly comes to mind. The reason they like it so much is because they can wear it and carry it around them wherever they go. Not only that, but from what she remembers, the locket necklaces do identically match. They just have slight alterations with words. "I see. Then you must want to give a gift to Okabe-san that he can wear and remember wherever he goes, right?"

Kurisu is shocked to hear her response, but answers the truth. "Yea… Having something that you can carry wherever you go makes you feel like you are never alone. This locket necklace is an example of how Okabe always cares for me no matter where I go, and so I can always remember him."

"Well, that narrows down options." says Yuki. "You guys like to get stuff you can wear, then we should look at something in that category. However….."

Kurisu and Yuki both realize that they have walked around the whole mall and unfortunately, there aren't any stores that get their interests to get a gift. Yuki continues her sentence. "We can't find really any gifts in any stores that we want."

Kurisu gets a bit upset as time is already counting down for the party.

"Sorry, Kurisu. I don't know what to tell you. If only we had that Upa Gadget to help up select gifts."

Then, it clicked. Hearing the word gadget made Kurisu realize something she can do to give Okabe as a gift. It may not be the greatest choice, but it is something he can wear. "Wait, a gadget, and something that can be worn." There is a pause. "That's it!"

Yuki is shocked about her reaction. "W-What?"

"I know what I want to give him."

"W-Well, what will you do?"

Kurisu thinks for a moment if that is what she really wants to do for Okabe. "It may be quite unusual to give what I want to Okabe as a gift, but I think he will accept it." There is a pause. "After all, it is something he is well familiar with."

"But aren't you going to tell me?" Yuki asks with curiosity.

But, Kurisu nods in disagreement and smiles. "No. This will be a secret from everyone. However, for this gift to work, I will need to be alone and work on it very extensively for the next couple of days until Christmas arrives. So please Yuki, tell everyone I won't be joining them for the party preparations."

Kurisu walks away to gather with the rest of the group with a smile of excitement for what is to come. Yuki remains silent for what just happened, and she is confused as to what Kurisu is planning for her gift, but she can only smile for her in the end. It seems Kurisu is committed to what she wants to do.

As the sun is close to setting, Kurisu and the group have finally finished gift hunting for everyone that is part of the Future Gadget Laboratory. Everything went well for everyone as now the gifts are set and ready in a huge bag they bought together.

Back in Faris's place, everyone settles in and cooks for each other as it is getting close to dinner time. Each person is talking like the usual friends they always are, and they prepare for tomorrow's next plan.

However, while Mayuri, Moeka, and Luka cook together with little Suzuha, Kurisu speaks with Yuki and Faris, about the upcoming plans. "So, you want to not join us to prepare for the upcoming party?" Yuki asks.

"Well, I would like to join, but I figured out a gift I want to give to Okabe," says Kurisu. "I will need the couple days I have left to get this ready and give it to him."

"Oh? Faris is very curious about this gift-nyan," says Faris with a teasing tone. "Tell me, Kunnyan. What is this gift you want to give to Kyouma? Will it be the best, and will it be naughty-nyan."

Kurisu's face turns red, but she mostly keeps her composure and responds. "W-Why are you so curious…." She then sighs and smiles. "Well, you may not know right now. This gift is something that will surprise mainly Okabe, but also for everyone else."

"Wow, Kunnyan is really trying to hide her gift-nyan. I wonder if I have you my special eye sight to see through what you are trying to do-nyan."

Yuki nods in disagreement. "I would rather not, Faris. If Kurisu wants to keep it a secret, we should let her." She then turns to Kurisu. "Don't worry. I will ask my Husband and Maho to not have you go to work, and you can focus on your gift. After all, you must approach your mad scientist boyfriend even closer, right?"

Kurisu becomes embarrassed by Yuki's response, but she is correct. "Y-Yea."

Yuki and Faris smile, as they will let the topic go and instead head back to the kitchen to prepare dinner.

Kurisu smiles as she is determined to give Okabe the gift she wishes the most. She stares at the setting sun over the city of Akihabara, as she takes a moment to figure out what to do for the gift to make it better than ever.

Then thinking about multiple things brings up something she completely forgot. Something, very important. She heads straight for her pockets, and pulls out her phone, she quickly dials a number and calls, hoping they will answer.

Inside the old lab, Okabe currently sets his lab coat down and he sits at his desk to take a moment to rest and clear his head. He is currently bothered by something, and he wants to just relax for a bit. However, not long after, his phone rings next to him. He checks who is calling him, and his eyes widen, as it is Kurisu who is calling him.

Okabe answers the call and speaks up. "Hello?"

"Hello, Okabe."

Okabe puts on his persona, "Oh, Kurisutina! What up? Do you miss the mad scientist you care for the most in this entire cosmos?!"

Kurisu turns a bit red, but she decides to play along. "Maybe I do. Or maybe you don't live up to the real meaning of Hououin Kyouma."

Okabe gets upset. "W-What are you talking about?!"

"If this person named Hououin Kyouma really was who he is, he would have called his allies to check on us. Since you didn't, it means you are not Hououin Kyouma."

"Of course I do, Assistant! Hououin Kyouma cherishes his allies of the Future Gadget Laboratory more than anything else!"

"Oh? Does that mean even…...m-me?"

Okabe sets his persona aside and responds with honesty. "Y-Yea, especially you, Kurisu."

There is a pause, as love is in the air between them to hear words of love and care between each other. Then, the silence stops with Okabe speaking up again. "So, how did it go with Faris and the others?"

"It went well. Everyone had a good time and enjoyed the long day of running around to find gifts for Christmas that is near."

He smiles. "I see. That is good." He then puts on his persona. "That means everyone will be mentally ready for the next phase to plunge this world into chaos!"

Kurisu sighs. "Of course you would say that." There is a pause. "Well, I called mainly to ask about Kagari. How is she?"

Okabe hesitates a bit to respond, but he does so anyway. "She is doing alright now. She is just sleeping for the night early. It would seem she might still be mentally tired from her Reading Steiner or something."

"After what happened yesterday, it would make sense. But, that is good to hear she is alright." There is a pause. "W-Well Okabe, that is all I wanted to talk about. I have to get home and do some things before I have to sleep."

Okabe sits for a moment, wishing Kurisu would speak to him more. "Um…"

"I-I wish we could talk more, b-but I want to do something that must be finished before the Christmas party. D-Don't worry though, it will all be worth the time."

Okabe puts on his persona again. "Well, it seems my Assistant has been busy lately. I'm curious as to what you are doing that is more important than your presence as the Future Gadget Laboratory."

Kurisu smiles. "Well, you will have to wait until it's done."

"Well then, I hope you impress the greatest mad scientist there is to ever set foot in this world!"

"We will see." There is a pause, as Kurisu decides it is time to leave for now. "Well Okabe, I need to hang up now. I will see you later." Kurisu then takes a moment and stutters for a bit, as she wants to say something very important to the man she loves most. "I-I love…..you."

Okabe eyes widened in shock to hear what he would normally not hear from Kurisu almost ever. "W-What…..did you just….say?"

Kurisu becomes very embarrassed and doesn't say it again. "I-I'm not saying it twice! Anyways I will see you later! Bye!" She hangs up.

Okabe hangs up too and sits for a moment. He actually understood what Kurisu meant the first time. He just wanted to hear her say it again. But of course, that mostly does not happen. He then smiles as he is glad Kurisu still loves him, even though they have spent a lot less time together since Kagari's arrival to the Future Gadget Laboratory.

Then thinking of Kagari makes Okabe turn to where Kagari would have been after she was unconscious. However, the strangest part is over at the couch, there is no one. Not even Kagari is there.

Okabe sighs as he thinks about what happened earlier.

(Flashback, 1 hour ago)

Okabe had just finished explaining everything that occurred in The Realm of Steiner with Kagari. This theory and explanation that he thought of while inside the place, to even who his PTSD kicked in after waking up so suddenly from the realm.

Suzuha sits for a moment in shock before responding. "So, Kagari has been stuck in this place called The Realm of Steiner."

"Yes." says Okabe. "That is why she hasn't been able to wake up. Perhaps her Beta Personality is trying to help her recover the memories she is still missing through that place."

"Well it does sound rather unusual and naturally illogical, but even then, we must consider a person with dual personalities is yet to be fully researched. Personalities always change and differ from person overtime. Not only that, this so called realm has many unknown things that no on can figure out yet."

"That is the best way to explain this situation. Even then, I wonder how long would it be till Kagari manages to wake up."

Suzuha thinks as Kagari is in a delicate position. She hasn't woken up and it has been over a day. This is worrisome because her body is still functioning regardless of the situation, and it has not been receiving the necessary resources for a human to live daily.

However, this means the situation needs to change to hope for the best. "Well I will take her back to the time machine. I have brought items to help Kagari in case anything wrong happens, like this situation. Her body can stabilize with resources in the time machine for up to a few weeks. However I hope she will wake up before that time occurs.

"Are you sure about this?! What if Kagari never wakes up?!" Okabe asks with great worry.

This tone and questions make Suzuha shocked. "You really do care for Kagari so much."

"W-Well if Kagari is my future daughter, of course I will care. Biological or not, I will worry for whatever happens to her and make sure she is in good health. That is who I am, Hououin Kyouma!" There is a pause. "No, Rintaro Okabe."

Suzuha sits in shock still to hear Okabe say everything. However, she doesn't respond to his comments, and instead reassures him of Kagari's safety. "Don't worry, Uncle Okarin. Kagari will be just fine. Just wait and have hope is all you can do at this time." There is a pause. "You can also thank the future Kurisu for this as well. She cared for Kagari more than what anyone could ever think of. She made sure there were extra precautions for anyone in the time machine in case something bad happens. "Especially if it was the daughter of a very important person who meant her world."

(End of Flashback)

After thinking extensively, Okabe can only hope at this point for Kagari to wake up very soon. The thoughts about divergence to will have to wait as well. He had one plan he must complete. This plan was determined for sometime, as this is the one thing he wished for a couple of years now, and with Christmas arriving, it will be the perfect time to finally make it real.

Slowly, the scene changes to the place of mystery, The Realm of Steiner. Nothing has changed since the last time and everything seems just ok. However, Kagari is still there.

She is currently running around, trying to find something. She searches for any area that can reveal something important, but unfortunately, nothing seems to be what she wants.

Then, she speaks to herself. "If Papa realized something important in this realm, that is why he vanished. He must have managed to leave this place and back to the real world."

Suddenly, her eyes change color, and they are now yellow, indicating her Beta Version manifested. She then displays something interestingly new. "Because Papa left this realm after coming to a conclusion, this must mean he remember something that was correct and pushed him from this place." There is a pause as Kagari stops running for a moment. "If that is the case, then for us, we should find something to make us remember the missing memories we cannot do so ourselves."

Kagari's eyes then revert back to blue, indicating her original self is back. "More like we need to find something here to bring back our memories or even cause them to make us remember." There is a pause. "I just hope that is why I cannot leave this place, otherwise we are in trouble."

She then remembers quickly a time, where she was in a state of low grade amnesia back when she was much younger. She didn't understand a whole lot, but she can remember the times when she would remember anything, and her head would hurt greatly. However, she can recall something that can help return her memories. It was a glowing object that looks like an orb that shines with light. Kagari remembers touching this orb, and it would usually contain some sort of memory that would help restore it to her whenever she had amnesia. Remember all of this then makes her more aware of what to look for.

Luckily, not far from her after remember her past, a huge light glows. This makes her very curious and runs straight to the light.

When she arrives, a glowing orb lights up radiantly like any other. Kagari admires the glow and beauty of the orb, especially since she now understand more of The Realm of Steiner and being more mature than she was when she was the last time she saw a glowing orb. What is more strange however, is compared to the glowing orbs that were seen with Okabe a while back, this one specifically was glowing radiant yellow, like it was supposed to be divine.

Kagari hesitates to try and take for a moment, but she then decides to do so. Before she could however, the orb glows brighter, and slowly disperses into many particles. The particles then all rush and disappear into her head, as this causes her to fall to her knees. There are so many images being displayed at once as everything rushes in her mind so fast.

Then as all the particles disappear, Kagari lays on the floor, as she had her energy suddenly depleted and she cannot move. The images most likely have cause her mental energy to take a toll on her and she feels tired. However the unknown begins to manifest.

As she begins to very slowly close her eyes, the realm begins to fade. This signifies the orb has caused her to finally leave the realm she has been trapped in all along. But, as the realm fades, Kagari thinks to herself. "I see….I finally remember…..everything… Papa…..and…"

As the realm fully disappears, kagari begins to shed a tear. "...Mama..."
