The next morning he looked around and saw an orange shirt with the words 'camp half-blood' on them and a pair of jeans.
Hiccup changed and went back up.
Nobody was in the cabin except him, then he heard a strange sound.
Hiccup outside and found a black cat.
"Huh, why are you here little guy?"
The cat purred as if it could understand him.
"Well, this place is not for kittens-"
Suddenly the black cat shimmered and turned into a…
"Dragon!" screamed Hiccup at the top of his lungs.
The dragon walked over to him, innocently.
"Okay, there is a dragon near my cabin. Yeah, that's normal." said Hiccup, trying to calm down.
The dragon looked at Hiccup as if it could say something.
"Stay." said Hiccup, thinking how to get out of this mess.
He was just walking looking at the ground but then he bumped into someone.
"Hey, watch it!" said a girl.
"Uh, sorry." said Hiccup, looking up.
"Who are you?" the girl had pretty blue eyes and blonde hair, she wore an orange t-shirt like his.
"Hiccup."
"Astrid, Astrid Hofferson" she said as she walked away.
Hiccup thought about Astrid and the more he thought the more he knew this would not be the last time seeing her.
After breakfast, Hiccup saw Percy so went over to him.
"Hey, Percy," said Hiccup.
"Hey, Hiccup," said Percy. "How was your first day?"
"Great!" said Hiccup, with a little sarcasm. "Is camp always like this?"
"Yeah." said Percy. "You should get going Hiccup, you know the rest of your cabin mates are already in their forges."
"Okay, then I should get going." said Hiccup as he got up and went down to the forges.
In the forge there were lots of fire and gears.
Hiccup soon found Petra in the crowd.
"Petra, what are you building?" asked Hiccup.
"I'm just building armor with bronze." she said.
"Oh, that's cool." said Hiccup. "Where do I-"
"Over there." said Petra pointing to a corner.
As Hiccup walked toward it, he noticed a lot of bronze in the corner and a fire.
Hiccup walked over and instantly knew what he had to make.
"Petra, do you have some iron?" asked Hiccup.
"No, we use Crestial bronze."
"What's Crestial bronze?"
"Crestial bronze is a metal that only kill monsters. You can't kill mortals."
"Huh."
"There is some corner if you like."
"Thanks." said Hiccup going to the corner and picking some up.
Surprisingly Hiccup knew exactly what to make.
First he needed armor, a sword, sheid.
Then he thought about the dragon that strangely appeared in front of his cabin.
"I'll need a saddle too." he muttered aloud.
He started working, he actually didn't know what he was doing but his hand knew what they were doing.
Soon after a sword was made but Hiccup knew they needed something else.
As he went toward his cabin he had a thought: what if the dragon was hungry?
He knew what would happen: 1. His cabin might be on fire.
2. He could be dragon food.
3. Or both
Hiccup knew he didn't want that happening, so he sneaked into Mess hall hoping to find a cod.
Hiccup looked around but didn't find a single cod, so he helplessly went to his cabin.
He saw the dragon/cat waiting for him.
"Shoo!" said Hiccup.
The cat suddenly looked offended, then it ran away.
As Hiccup went into the cabin he had a thought: What if the dragon came back? he put the thoughts aside.
"No, it's not coming back." he said to himself.
When Hiccup went to bed he was still thinking about the dragon, he told himself if it came back he would give the dragon a cod.
