(Ps, y'all I've been imagining Liam like young Scrooge from the beginning! AND THEN THE FOUNTAIN OF YOUTH EPISODE CAME OUT! So now you know what he looks like)

Everyone just stared at Beakly wide eyed and speechless. Beakly mentally face palmed. Oh my gosh, that was the ONE THING you weren't supposed to tell them! she thought. Everyone looked at her expectantly. Webby bit her beak and started squealing. Beakly raised an eyebrow at her.

"Oh my gosh! I've got a brother! This is the best day of my life!" Webby jumped up.

Liam was taken back at a loss for words. "I- I- I- I- What?" he questioned.

"It's a long story," Beakly sighed.

"We've got all night," Della said, crossing her arms.

"How are we siblings?" Liam asked.

"Well, when a mommy duck and a daddy duck love each other very much-" Beakly began.

"That's obviously not what I meant," Liam said. Beakly looked between Webby and Liam. Her eyes landed on the duckling in pink. She was jumping up and down, hardly able to contain herself.

Scrooge seemed the least surprised out of the family.

Donald caught his uncle's look. "You knew!?" he questioned.

Scrooge raised his hands up defensively. "Well, I knew she had a brother, but I didn't know who it was!" he said.

"But why were we split up?" Liam asked. Webby had the same questions he was asking, but she was too happy to ask them.

"When you were younger, after your parents... passed, some bad people wanted to hurt you. So your uncle on your father's side and I agreed to keep you apart," Beakly confessed.

Webby turned to Liam. "Hey, I never heard your last name! It wouldn't happen to be Vanderquack, would it?" she smirked.

"Yes, but that's because we're related," Liam said.

"I know! I just wanted to hear it out loud!" she cheered. She squeezed him tight in a hug. "I have always wanted a sibling!"

Beakly let out a sigh of relief. It didn't seem like they had anymore questions. Which meant Beakly could keep her little girl. But how long would it last now that they knew?

...

After begging and begging and begging, Beakley finally agreed to let Liam spend the night. Only, she made him sleep on the couch.

He set his bag he had brought with him on the floor, and curled up in a blanket Donald had given him.

Liam lay across the couch, a single blanket covering him. The events of the night had come as a bit of a shock to him. I mean, who wouldn't be surprised to find they had a long lost sister? Though the couch wasn't incredibly comfy, he had other things on his mind.

He frowned and blew his hair out of his face. A million things were running through his mind right now, but one thing stuck out to him. Why had his uncle never told him about Webby? Liam has always thought they were tight knit, no secrets between them. But he guessed he was... wrong?

And how would things be now? What would happen with him living in Mouseton and her in Duckburg? Liam bit his lip. He just wished he could make sense of it all.

He was pulled out of his thoughts by the sound of footsteps. He sat up and glanced around. Nothing in the dark. He looked around uneasily and lay back down.

"Liam!" Webby shouted, jumping on his face.

Liam let out a startled yelp. "Webby! What are you doing?"

He sat up on the couch. She stood on the floor, rocking on her heels. "Nothing..." she said, avoiding eye contact. He raised an eyebrow. "Except keeping you company and trying to learn every single fact about you!" she said, hugging him a little too tight.

Liam hesitates before hugging her back. "Can I sleep with you on the couch?" she asked.

Liam nodded and she jumped with joy. She cuddled up next to him, a grin plastered on her beak. "So, since we're siblings..." she said, addressing the elephant in the room.

"So..." Liam still couldn't wrap his head around the concept.

"I've wanted a sibling for as long as I could remember! I've just always been so lonely!" she burst.

"Lonely?"

Webby nodded. "I haven't been allowed to go outside the mansion until just this past year. I've been a bit... neglected most of my life. Except for when my granny was teaching me fighting techniques, I mostly had to entertain myself," she said.

Liam pulled her closer. "Webby... I'm sort of having trouble processing all of this." He gave an awkward laugh, punctuating his point.

"What do you mean? We're siblings now, so you just move here and then we can go on amazing sibling adventures like Huey, Dewey, and Louie do!" Webby said.

"I don't really think I could move here," he said. "I don't think your granny- or our granny, I guess, really likes me," he said.

"How not? She was just acting weird to protect us... from something." Webby fiddled with a strand of her hair.

"She still was weird towards me even after she told us. I-I don't know."

The two were quiet for a moment.

"I wonder what mom and dad were like," Webby said, breaking the silence.

Liam's eyes widened at that question. "What?"

"Our parents. Were they... good people?"

Liam stares up at the ceiling. "I mean, they must be, right?"

"I don't think they just 'passed.' Granny was in the spy business which means they likely were, well..." Webby drifted off.

"Spy business? Man, I'm so lost here. My uncle left me in the dark a lot about my parents," Liam said. His eyes wandered to his bag, and he smirked. "But he did let me know some things."

Webby tilted her head. "What?"

Liam smiled at her. "I want to show you something in the morning."

"Ooh, secrets, neato. Okay, I'm in," she said. She let out a yawn. "I'm going to try to go to sleep."

"Webby?"

"Yeah?"

"I'm happy to have a sister like you."

"Well, I'm happy to have a brother like you."

...

In the morning, Webby and Liam sat on the couch. "What's the surprise, bro?" she said, eagerly. Right now, she would take any and every opportunity to address him as a brother.

Liam smiled at her and pulled his backpack onto his lap. He dug around until he found what he was looking for. He kept it hidden while he spoke. "Alright, you want to know what our parents were like?"

"Liam?"

"Behold!" He pulled out a DVD from his bag. "This is a bunch of footage of them, recorded by our father! And I thought we could watch it together?" he said, though he already knew the answer.

Webby was about ready to squeal. "Are you serious! What!!!!"

Liam nodded. "Though, I've never actually watched it before."

Her eyes widened in disbelief. "You're telling me you had recordings of our parents and you never ONCE looked at it?"

"N-no," hesaid rubbing the back of his neck. "We never had a DVD player so..."

"WE HAVE A DVD PLAYER!" Webby said a bit too excited. She took the disk from him and before he could say anything, jammed it into the DVD player.

She sat back down next to Liam, practically bouncing out of her seat. "Oh my gosh, oh my gosh, oh my gosh!" She turned on the TV with the remote and waited for the video to play.

Video...

A duck with long, soft white hair, sat looking away from the camera. She wore a pink sun dress and they were outside. She was humming to herself, not even acknowledging the person recording. The soft breeze pulled at her hair as she sat on a white park bench. Cherry blossoms fell from trees, swaying with the wind. She had a bag strapped across her.

The camera moves closer to her. It got up in her face, causing her to gasp. "Ryan! Stop it!" she giggled. The person recording continued to poke at her.

"Oh, come on Carla, you like it!"

They were laughing, smiling. The girl, Carla, playfully slapped his hand away. "Wait a minute, are you recording?"

"Yes."

"Why! Who else are you going to show this?" she wondered, tilting her head, he soft facial features coming in a smile.

"Just for us, when we're a happy old married couple," Ryan said. The camera moved to take a seat next to her.

She smirked mischievously. "An maybe one other," she said quietly.

"What?"

She was silent.

"Wait, Carla, what do you mean?" Ryan persisted.

She still didn't answer, her cheeks turning a bright red.

"Carla! What!"

"Alright, I suck at keeping secrets. Ryan, I'm going to have an egg."

Ryan nearly dropped the camera. "Is this a joke?"

She shook her head, struggling to hold in a smile. "Nope. You're going to be a father."

The camera man sat there in shock. Carla stood up and pulled her bag over her shoulder. "So, where do you want to go to lunch?"

"CARLA YOU CAN'T JUST DROP A BOMB LIKE THAT AMD THEN TALK ABOUT LUNCH!" Ryan burst.

She laughed a bit. "We can talk about it over lunch, come on," she said, starting to walk away.

The camera man ran to catch up with her. "Baby, you have a terrible sense of humor," he said.

She smiled naughtily. "Yep, that's why you married me."

The camera man leaned in and gave her a big kiss on the lips that lasted a while.

End of first video

Liam glanced at Webby after the video. She had tears in her wide eyes. She kept her eyes locked on the screen a moment after it ended. Her mouth was gaping open.

"Thank you, Liam," she said, unable to say more.

He put a hand around her. "I think there's more if you want to se-"

"Yes!" she said before she could even finish.

Liam smiled and took the remote, starting another video.

Video...

The scene was changed. Now the video took place in a large assembly room. At the head of the room was an old bird, going on and on. The camera man sat in a chair, watching the speech.

He snickered, moving the camera to face the chair next to him. Sitting there was Carla, legs crossed and head drooped. She was asleep. The camera man poked her in the knee, causing her to snort as she shot awake.

"Toast!" she shouted randomly. Everyone in the assembly just stopped and stared at her. The camera man held in a laugh while she sunk down in her chair embarrassed. After a moment, everyone continued with the lecture.

Carla stared at the camera, cheeks puffed in annoyance. She glared at the camera man.

"You're so cute when you're angry, he whispered, laughing.

The camera shifted to the bird leading the speech. A hand came into view. He began mimicking the speech with his hand, like a mouth.

That made Carla laugh.

"Vanderquack!" the bird leading the assembly snapped. Startled, he dropped the camera.

End of video

Webby and Liam smiled at that one. "Wish I could've known them," she sighed.

"What's this one?" he said, selecting a video labeled "remind me to delete this later."

"What do you think dad wanted to delete?" Webby asked.

Liam shrugged. "Maybe it was something embarrassing?" he thought aloud.

He pressed play. Neither of them were prepared for what they watched next.

...

Beakley anxiously waited for Ben to pick up. There was a click as he answered on his end.

"What do you want Beakley?"

"You were right! I'm an idiot! I told them!" she burst. This whole situation had her more panicked than usual. It seemed like calm and in control Beakley was thrown out the window.

"What?!" Ben gasped on the other end.

Beakley paced her room. "I'm so stupid, last night I told them the truth," she said. Her heart was pounding and she had no clue what she was doing.

"That's it. I'm flying out there and taking them both home with me."

Beakly's eyes were wide. "What! No! You can take Liam but leave me Webby!"

"You obviously aren't responsible enough. And she probably doesn't want to be with you anymore anyways," he said bitterly.

Beakley bit her lip and went silent.

"You didn't tell her everything, did you?"

"Do you want me to tell them or not!" Beakly snapped.

"Well, either tell them the whole thing or not at all. What exactly did you tell them?" Ben asked. Frustration was all over his voice.

"I just told they were siblings and their parents were dead."

"But not who killed them," Ben added bitterly.

"Just be happy I don't tell them what you did," she said, tapping her foot.

"Tell Webby she has a few days to pack. I'll buy a ticket and head out," Ben said.

Beakly was gripping her phone so tight, it might break. She shouted at the phone, "We agreed to split them, you can't take Webby! I never agreed to tha-"

He hung up on her. She sighed, and tossed her phone on her bed. She sat down next to it, head in her hands. She couldn't lose Webby. She just couldn't.
