Hiccup woke up bright and early.
When he went outside he saw the dragon waiting for him
"Oh, man, what do you want?" shouted Hiccup.
The dragon tilted it's head.
"If you are going to pop out my front door, I need something to call you." said Hiccup. He examined the dragon/ cat then Hiccup found some fascinating facts:
1. The dragon had green eyes just like his.
2. The dragon was blackest of black not even a spot.
3. When it opened its mouth it had no teeth!
Hiccup stared at the dragon in aw.
"I swear you had teeth…"
Then the cat opened its jaws once again, this time it had teeth.
"Wh...wh...What?"stammered Hiccup.
The dragon flew toward Hiccup and pounced on him, and started to lick Hiccup.
"Oh, stop!"
The dragon stopped and let Hiccup stand.
"I'll call you…" Hiccup paused dramatically. "Toothless."
The dragon looked appreciated.
"We will need somewhere to hide you." said Hiccup, now appreciating the dragon.
The dragon nodded.
Hiccup suddenly remembered what Percy had said: 'No one goes into the forest alone.'
"Follow me." Hiccup said, softly.
The dragon followed.
They went to a clearing, where Hiccup stopped.
"Stay." he said, as he ran off.
Hiccup arrived just in time for breakfast.
"Where were you?" asked Petra.
"I was… um…I...um...woke up late…"
"Oh, come on. I know you're lying. Have any secrets to share with me?"
"N...no."
"Fine, I won't ask if you're not ready."
"Thanks."
"Yah! Got you! You adimited you were lying!" shouted Petra. "You can't hide something from me."
"Right."
"What ever did you hear the news about Grover the satyr's disappearance?"
"No."
"I know because that is what Percy Jackson is talking about lately."
"Well, you seem to know a lot of rumors."
"Yes, I do. Most guys in our cabin are grumpy spending most of their time in the forges but not me. Some people, mostly Connor Stoll and Travis Stoll come to me, looking for secrets."
"What? so you tell them?!" shouted Hiccup.
"Most of the time." then quickly added. "for a price."
"Okay." said Hiccup. "What kind of price?"
Petra looked away.
"What is it?" asked Hiccup.
"Mymomisneverhome."said Petra not breathing, at all.
"Calm down."
"I'll continue." said Petra. "My mom is never home. Even when she knows the camp is only for the summer. My step-dad is not either. So, I do the only thing I can do to contact them. Using a phone but most demi-gods don't have one. Because calling causes many monsters attention. But Annabeth Chase has a phone, the price is 'Getting Annabeth's phone without getting noticed.' I don't care how they get it, if they get it."
"Oh."
"Never mind, we should get going."said Petra.
