I go to the waiting room and with in a couple of minutes Kev comes running in.

Kev: Vi where's nick and Alena?

Me: In rm. 458. I'm so sorry Kev!

Ate Kev: Hey don't be sorry. It's alright accidents happen. Dani and I are gonna stay but nick is gonna take you home.

Me: Alright. I'll see you at home then.

I watch Kev walk away and I slink into a chair pulling my knees to my chest and put my head on my knees.

(Kevin's POV)

I walk into the room just as the doctor is finishing up.

Nick: Hey man she's gonna be fine.

Me: Yeah I know. Hey thanks for cutting your date short and rushing here for me.

Nick: Bro don't ok. She's my niece and I would do anything for her. I'm just glad she's ok.

Me: Thanks me too. Hey can you take vi home? Oh and give her this? I decided to give her $10 an hour since she did such a great job at handling the situation and pay her a flat rate of 2 hours even though she only had her about an hour.

Nick: Yeah no problem bro. Well I'm gonna head home I'll see you there ok.

Me: Yeah I'll see you there. Bye bro.

Nick: Bye man.

Hey my wonderful readers, I'm doing another update to give you a bit more of a backstory on Taylor which will help you understand what's happening in a later chapter. This entire chapter will be in Taylor's POV.

I decided it was time to tell someone the whole story of my life and who better than the one person I know will understand. So I go to his room one night after everyone else goes to bed.

Me: Hey Nicky can I talk to you?

Nick: Hey Tay it's kinda late, shouldn't you be in bed?

Me: I know, I'm sorry Nicky I just needed to talk to someone.

Nick: Hey what's wrong?

Me: I've just been keeping this inside for so long I need to tell someone.

He grabs my hand and pulls me into his lap since he is sitting on his chair at his desk.

Nick: Talk to me Tay.

Me: Ok but promise me you'll just listen and not say anything until I finish.

Nick: Of course baby girl.

Me: My real dad died when I was 6 and my mom remarried my stepdad when I was 6 1/2 and then when I was 7 she passed away after he got drunk one night and lost control. He was arrested but the DA had a hard time getting a case against him and the jury found him not guilty. I was in foster care until he was released and they let him take me back. That's when the abuse started.

Tears were running down my face.

Nick: Tay I'm sooo sorry.

Me: Nick it wasn't just physical abuse or Mental abuse either.

Nick: Did he...? Did he sexually abuse you?

Me: Yeah it started just after he married my mom. At first it was him just touching me but then after she died it got worse. Nick he raped me a lot. The last time he had was just before my visit to the hospital and I had ended up being pregnant. When I told him he lost it and that's when he beat me so bad I lost the baby. Shortly after that Is when he got mad at me for messing up his lunch and beat me bad enough he took me to the hospital. Which is when I finally got away from him. The reason I'm telling you all this is not only because I needed someone I knew I could tell it to but also because I've been having nightmares of him coming back and hurting me again.

Nick: He will never see you again and I'm gonna make sure of that. In the morning we are contacting our lawyer and making sure of that. Is there any proof of what he did?

Me: Yeah when I miscarried he took me to the hospital and they wouldn't let him see me so I asked them to do a DNA test on the fetus and they did and they gave me the results. They called the police who took a report but they never did anything about it.

Nick: Those results do you still have them?

Me: Yeah in a box in my room. Along with the police reports and pictures from each time he hurt me.

Nick: Good because as long as I can help it that bastard is going away for life.

Me: Thanks Nicky for listening.

Nick: Anytime Hun. Why don't you sleep here with me and then tomorrow we can call the lawyer and Kevin and Joe and I can make sure this bastard never hurts another child or person again.

Me: Sounds good.

He picks me up bridal style and lays me in his huge bed and crawls in his side. He kisses my forehead and says goodnight and then turns off the light. I fall asleep feeling safer then I have in a long time.
