I am only a couple of chapters from finishing this story! Also this chapter contains very sensitive content about suicide so please read with discretion. If it triggers please stop reading. You've been warned. But other than that, please enjoy the story.

Mai quickly goes back to the base where everyone is, including Masako who was passed out on the couch. "What happened is she okay?"

"She went to the apartment with Takigawa and the presence she felt made her sick" Yasuhara replied as he was putting a damp cloth in her forehead.

Mai knew that Yasuhara had a crush on Masako but was to much of a chicken to say anything to her, their lives were too different to make it work, so he rather admire her from afar, something that Mai sympathized with him. Monk, John and Ayako were looking at the screens in front of them. The three screens showed different parts of the apartment, the kitchen, living room and bedroom. They were definitely temperature changes when Masako entered the apartment, chairs flew across the room and you could even see a shadow behind her. "This is bad, i haven't seen this much activity in such short time" Monk said as he sat in his chair rubbing his temples. "Masako was only there for 15 minutes, this much activity is insane" Ayako replied as she put her arms on the table and sighed.

"If we don't do something soon, hes going to turn into a demon."

Everyone turned around after hearing Masako's voice. She sat down next to Yasuhara with a glass of water in her hand. Still looking pale she decided to keep talking. "He is resentful, angry, and is looking for revenge. He is not interested in leaving that place, its been years were he's been lingering. The woman who killed him or any women who is there will suffer"

"Did you see how he was killed Masako?"

"Yes, that's why i felt so sick, seeing him dragged like that" those were Masako's last words before she ran towards the bathroom to throw up. Luckily the bathroom was far away so no one could hear her. Yasuhara went after her.

The clock read 6pm and for some reason she stared feeling sleepy. She knew she might be having a vision soon. No one would question her why she fell a sleep. So she lied down in the couch and slept.

Mai's Vision

"My mom and dad are gone, my brothers i don't know where they went" I don't know where they went? Mai thought to herself. What am i saying i don't have brothers. Mai heard footsteps coming towards her and she hid herself under the blankets. The door opened and someone came in, their footsteps sounded closer and closer. Mai felt the sheet being taken away from her leaving her exposed. "Wake up" and Mai quickly sat on her bed with both eyes open. Once again there she was Sara. She looked furious.

"So i heard you went to your school counselor, what did you say" Mai starts shaking. "Nothing, i just told her that it was my fathers 2nd year since he passed away" this made Sara slap Mai. She felt tears running down her cheeks. "Sota you idiot, do you want me in Jail!"

"YES I DO" Mai finally screamed. Omg she thought to herself, I am Sota , Akane's older son. This caused Sara to grab the 8 year old boy by the hair and throw him on the floor.

"I killed him because he wanted to leave, i moved in with him after your mom died and tried to love him like i did all these years. But he rejected me and kept being distant and after i told him i could't take it no more, how does he repay me? By leaving, no one leaves me! So i did WHAT I HAD TO DO!" She decides to kneel down and grab Mai's short hair again and pull it so hard that it makes Mai and Sara be face to face. "Listen you imbecile, if i go to jail, you will join your parents are we clear" Mai just nodded . She lets Mai go. Sara leaves the room and Mai starts sobbing. "Its been 2 years living with my aunt. I can't take it no more, i don't know how to find my baby brothers, she will never let me leave because i saw everything!" Mai tought to herself. "There's only one way out" Mai quickly went to the bathroom looking for anything that could help. She found razor blades. She quickly went into her room again and pulled the covers to hide herself. She quickly pulled the sleeves of her blue pajamas. She made 4 deep cuts in each wrist making her cry in pain. She couldn't believe what was happening. The white sheets stared turning red. "Before she kills me, i rather go first, i rather die than be with her, am finally free" She stared feeling dizzy and weak. Soon after everything turned black.

Mai quickly woke up from her dream! Everyone was staring at her with a worried expression. She stared crying. "What happened Mai?" Monk asked which caused Mai to hug Monk. "He killed himself, he cut his wrist, he was only a kid"

"Who committed suicide?" John asked.

"Sota Watanabe, Akane and William's oldest son"

This shocked everyone "Mai his soul find our savior the lord and forgive him of such sin, ill go pray for a while" he patted Mai on the head and went outside. Ayako went to the kitchen and brought Mai some chamomile tea and gave Masako some too. No one could speak, this was too heartbreaking.

"Both parents dead, twins sent to an orphanage and the oldest brother commits suicide, how is she still not in jail" Yasuhara spoke trying to contain his anger. Out of all their cases this was the hardest one yet!

The mood quickly changed when Oliver came into the room with someone behind him. She walked as she lowered her head and Mai quickly recognized her.

"Camila Rodriguez what are you doing here?" she didn't reply, she kept staring at the ground.

"I saw her snooping around, wondering why she followed you" Oliver replied with no expression in his tone.

"You know what's odd ever since i took this case, i only talked to one person on the phone, they made me evacuate the whole building and payed them to stay in hotels for the time being and her voice sounds so familiar to yours care to explain"

Camila wouldn't talk. This was getting annoying and Oliver was getting irritated. "Is Sara blackmailing you" everyone turned around and saw John had finally come back. She finally looked up with tears in her eyes. Camila nooded

"My son is very sick, he needs a heart transplant and Sara has a lot of influence were he is being treated, if i betray her... she won't get my son a new heart." She quickly wiped her tears.

"We will help you, my family has influence and i am friends with the hospital director" Oliver finally spoke after a long silence.

"But-"

"What guarantees you that she won't dispose of you when you're not longer useful" Lin finally spoke.

"You guys don't understand, she is my only hope, you will do anything for your kids even if it puts other people in danger!"

"Listen to me, if you give me information about her, i promise i will give your son a heart!" Oliver reassured her.

"Last year the directors daughter got kidnapped, i saved her and he told me whatever i needed , he was going to get it." Oliver spoke firmly

Camila broke down. "Thank you so much, ive been waiting for 4 months but Sara says they haven't found a donor yet. I'll tell you everything"

After a while everyone sat down on the table. Everyone payed close attention to Camila as she spoke

"Sara Watanabe is mostly an investor, she inherited most of the money her father left her after he died, at this point her sister and brother in law were already dead. She has a lot of power ever since most of her investments make profit. Her dad is an ex-politician, and she always got out of trouble with him around. But this time, it was different, the reason she asked for Mai to come to England was because of you Oliver Davis, Mai was just the bait"

everyone just looked at Mai

"Why me, i was just his assistant."

"Exactly , assistants are the closest person to their boss, they know everything about their life" Mai thought to herself "Yeah right, she clearly does not know Naru, i mean Oliver"

"Why is she targeting me?" Oliver asked

Camila took a deep breath.

"She was driving in Japan , i don't know what she was doing there, she was distracted and ran over a teenage boy, she ran over him again to make sure he was dead as she freaked out, after that she wrapped him in something and threw him on the lake. She is always very controlling, she planed her sisters murder and planned how to escape jail out of her brother in law, but she has no political ties in Japan so she was scared of going to jail"

By this time Mai had tears in her eyes, that was Gene, she killed him! They had finally found Gene's killer! But Oliver in the other hand looked pale. Mai was sitting next to him and didn't know what to do. His hands were under the table and out of instinct she grabbed one of his hands which felt really cold. He was probably going to refuse and take his hand away but he instead he intertwined his hand with her and squeezed it tight. He looked like he wanted to cry but couldn't.

Camila kept going

"She later did some research on the teenage boy and found out he had a twin bother, that they were both psychic, so she remodeled the apartment made me go to find out if William was there, which he is, do research on you even if you had changed your name to Kazuya , your legal paperwork still showed as Oliver Davis, lure Mai in and kill you both in that apartment"

Everyone was in complete shock, no one had any words to say. All of this time, Oliver was looking for his brothers killer and now that he found her, he felt disgust and anger and knew what William felt. Anger, revenge! But he didn't want to be like that. So he squeezed Mai's hand harder and she did the same. Reassuring him that she was there for him.

"I am sorry about your brothers death, and for keeping this a secret for so long, it has been eating at my conscience , i hope you will forgive me" she got up and said goodbye , as she was leaving Oliver finally spoke.

"Sent me your son's information, i will talk to the director tomorrow" She turned around and thanked him and with that she left.

Everyone stood up and gave their condolences to Oliver but he wasn't paying attention his mind was somewhere else but he still thanked them. But he never let Mai's hand go. All of them left outside except them. Once Mai and Oliver where alone he finally spoke.

"If it's too dangerous and you want out i understand, after all-" Mai Interrupted him and gave him a hug. "I'll always be here for you Naru, and if you ever need anything i'm here." He hugged her back and cried, something he hadn't done in a while, he only cried after they found Gene's body. But with Mai he knew , he could be comfortable, in peace and a sense of belonging something he didn't understand, why did he felt like this with only her. But he didn't care at the moment. He hugged her tight and they stayed like this for a while.
