Poof & Doof

Esmeralda Poofenplotz was sitting in the coffee shop waiting. "I hope he shows up soon. I can feel my makeup caking. Then I won't be gorgeous, I can't have that." She daintily took a sip of her coffee and a small nibble of her square.
The door opened and Heinz walked in. He went up to the counter and ordered his coffee, black, and a large piece of cake. He then took his order to Esmeralda's table and sat down, some coffee sloshed out of his cup.
Poof looked, in horror, at the coffee puddle that was spreading out from under the saucer. Her attention was diverted back to Heinz when he started to speak. "I've been thinking Poofy, we should try to join forces you and I."
