Stacy pulled out her phone and called a number she never called. After three rings the call went to voice-mail. "Ferb, it's Stacy. Can you call me back on my cell?" She left her number then disconnected the call and looked at Perry. "He's not going to call back, is he?" Perry shook his head.
A few minutes passed in awkward silence when Stacy's phone indicated an incoming text. She read it and showed it to Perry.
I understand how difficult it is not to talk to someone about important matters. However, discretion must be exercised.
