Wow here we are! Chapter 2 already! I can't lie to you! As I'm writing this right now, my clock says 02:47. That's AM for you guys on the 12 hour system. But I promised myself that I would get the chapter out before I went to sleep so I guess this is the result! I hope it reads okay and there aren't any glaring mistake and I hope that you guys all enjoy it! It was definitely a fun challenge to write and we've managed to get some good content... Also it's 11,000 words 0-0. Wack man.
Chris and Don are standing in the snow in front of the cabin once more, still dressed in their pretty yellow jackets. Marnie, the producer, is standing in front of them in her black production jacket giving them a little run down.
"So, of course we don't have any details on ratings but I've just got a few notes on your presenting." She smiled slightly, looking between the two, "We need to see more aggression from you both, Total Drama isn't called Total Drama because we're kittens and rainbows, we need DRAMA!" She exclaimed, throwing her hands into the air.
"Remember last time we overdid the drama and I got sent to prison? Yeah me too." Chris rolled his eyes at the producer who shot him a little glare.
"And don't forget who got you out and gave you this job." Marnie reminded him, causing the host to quickly shut up. "I'm not asking you to kill them, just make sure their emotions are as high as they can get, it's all for the drama." She smiles as she walks away, she then signals for the cameraman to start filming, forcing the two men to quickly snap into action."
"Last time, on Total Drama!" Don started, "We were introduced to the fourteen contestants who are going to be competing for the grand prize!"
"We met interesting characters like Yves! Who is determined to lead her team and herself to the victory, or Boris who is determined to lead himself into the first boot slot!" Chris continued with a grin.
"Now our two teams are being tasked with navigating this local cave system to find the treasure at it's centre. While tied together." Don smiled,
"Because absolutely nothing can be easy on this show." Chris added with a chuckle.
"Will Aleena actually get some good footage while she's here?" Don asked the camera, raising his arms in that weird way people do when they ask questions on kids shows.
"Will Damien even be able to fit in the cave?" Chris repeats the same gesture, making them both look quite weird if we're honest.
"And who will come out on top?" Don asked with a smile,
"Find out right now on Total!"
"Drama!"
"Audacious Alpines!" The two end together, as the camera pans out to show the entire mountain and the cabin at the base of it.
(Theme Song Begin)
Dear Mom and Dad I'm doing fine.
The title sequence begins with Nick looking at himself in the mirror in the confessional, he is fixing his hair before the door opens, scaring him and causing him to jump and fall onto the toilet. In walks Ashe who looks horrified and quickly runs out with his head in his hands.
You guys are on my mind.
Luciana is in the living room, enjoying a quiet read by the fire when Alyssa comes running down the stairs with two snowboards that she found. She throws one to Luciana who catches it with a grin as the two run out of the cabin.
You asked me what I wanted to be.
We now see the two girls skateboarding down the mountain, wearing the appropriate safety gear of course, they board past Boris who has somehow managed to get himself stuck in a tree, he calls for help as they ignore him.
And now I think the answer is plain to see.
Kahlin and Yvette are enjoying dinner together, they are both chatting incessantly but it appears that neither is actually listening to the other, they're both in their own worlds. The camera pans to show Amelia rolling her eyes and looking exasperated at the both of them.
I wanna be famous
Chef is in the kitchen cooking up dinner for the campmates, Yves is behind him, watching what he does carefully, Chef wipes some sweat off his brow and continues cooking as he does.
I want to live close to the sun
Damien is trying to have a nap in his bed when Adrian bursts in and starts singing to himself, Damien takes the pillow and places it over his head, trying to drown out Adrian's noise.
So pack your bags cause I've already won
Aleena is filming something in the distance, she is taking it very seriously, a furrow in her brow when Miles appears in front of her camera. This causes her to jump and throw her camera behind her, she growls at Miles and pounces on him, throwing them both down the mountain.
Everything to prove nothing in my way-
As the two of them fight and roll down to the bottom of the mountain, they land in a heap in the end and are soon joined by Alyssa and Luciana who cheer as they reach the bottom of the mountain.
I'll get there one day-
Iris is sitting by an open fire, rubbing her hands together and warming them slightly. She is soon joined by all the other members who gather around the fire to keep warm. They're all wearing their jackets and start whistling together, showing more camaraderie than before.
Nananana Nananana
Chris and Don arrive with a tray of cocoa, all in their own little takeaway cups. They begin handing them out to the contestants.
I wanna be, I wanna be, I wanna be famous
Marnie can be seen behind a camera glaring at Chris and Don, writing something down in her notebook.
I wanna be, I wanna be, I wanna be famous
All of the campers, plus Chris and Don smile happily as Marnie snaps her pencil in annoyance nearby, watching the scene with disgust.
(End Title Sequence)
(The Cave Entrance - Girls)
Don stood with the Girls team at the entrance to the cave, he was currently making sure that all seven of them were securely tied together to avoid any injuries, can't have a health and safety lawsuit on their hands after all. Yves was at the head of the line, quietly confident in her ability to lead the team to victory, Yvette stood behind her, adjusting the helmet on her head to make sure that it was on correctly. (Yes we gave them helmets because we care.) The order continued, Luciana - Alyssa - Aleena - Amelia and Iris taking the back end of the snake.
"I'd rather just be behind you all so I know you're safe." She smiled, "It's just what I'm used to at home." She explained herself to no fight at all from her teammates.
"Sure thing! Whatever makes you feel at ease." Luciana smiled, making sure that the knots around her waist were doubly tight.
"Alright girls." Don started with a smile, "You've each got a light attached to your chest, and Yves has a walkie talkie she can use to contact production if you become stuck or if someone gets hurt et cetera." He explained to them with a smile.
"This is gonna be so fucking epic!" Alyssa cheered, bouncing up and down on her feet slightly.
"Stop jumping, you're ruining my focus." Aleena grumbled, turning her camera off and letting it hang around her neck once more.
"Are you sure that's a good idea?" Iris asked with a raise of her eyebrow, "I mean, what if it breaks?"
"It's the risk one has to take for art." Aleena shrugged her off, rolling her eyes at her before turning to face the front again, ready for the challenge.
"Okay girls." Yves started, turning slightly to address them all. "This is our first challenge, and I think we can all agree that none of us want to be beaten by the boys! So let's go in there and show them how it's done!"
"YEAH!" Came the cheers of the other girls as Don gave them the all clear and sent them into the caves.
(Confessional)
YVES: I'm normally not the type to talk a lot, I like to just observe people, but this team doesn't have a clear leader on it, and I wouldn't be able to stand it if we lost because of inaction. So I took the initiative and led the team through this challenge.
ALEENA: I won't lie, I find this team rather frustrating. It's not like I'm trying to sabotage them all right? I've just got something I'm passionate about and I'm using my time wisely! We can't all be washed up TV Star Has-beens.
IRIS: It was literally just a suggestion? Aleena needs to calm down because that kind of attitude really isn't helping anyone.
(The Cave Entrance - Boys)
Chris was with the boys who were currently in the same exact position. Except they hadn't actually managed to get themselves into an order and therefore weren't actually tied to each other yet.
"So who's going to be the leader?" Chris asked impatiently, if you take too long we'll send in the girls first and they'll get a head start."
"Well, if no one else minds, I suppose I could do it." Nick said offhandedly, flashing everyone a disarming smile.
"As long as I can go behind you." Kahlin said, "I've got to get front row seats to this awesome cave!" He was practically bouncing with excitement. "I hope there's a ghost! Or like skeletons." Everyone else seemed a little put out at the guy but shrugged it off.
No one objected to his place though and the two of them started tying themselves to each other. Miles took the spot behind Kahlin, and Boris the spot behind him although he thoroughly complained about being in close proximity to everyone else, catching him a very large collective eye roll from the rest of the team.
Adrian came next, followed by Ashe and with Damien taking up the rear.
"Well that way, if you get stuck we can just cut your rope off and not lose anyone else." Boris said offhandedly.
"We're not doing that." Miles sighed, giving his rope a tug that caused Boris to stumble and nearly fall into the snow, only held up by his connection to Adrian.
"Okay that's great guys." Chris said, checking through the knots and making sure their safety gear was in place. "Nick you have the walkie talkie, use it if you're in danger." He stood in front of the cave entrance as the boys lined up. "Good luck, off you go."
Nick nodded as he started walking into the cave. He got a few metres before suddenly he stopped and was pulled back, falling into Kahlin who thankfully caught him. He shot around to see Boris not moving at all.
"Dude you actually have to walk." He told him, staring the boy down.
"I don't want to." Boris pouted like a child before he was quickly picked up and thrown over Miles' shoulder. "Unhand me!" Boris cried, trying to wrestle his way from Miles' grip but the boy was much stronger than him.
"Go on Nick, I've got him." Miles called as the leader began to slowly walk again into the cave - without any troubles this time.
(Confessional)
BORIS: These boys are animals! A complete lack of respect for me and my status! To be thrown over someone's shoulder like a cheap toy! It's utterly embarrassing!
DAMIEN: I gotta admit, seeing Boris just dragged along was kinda funny. (He starts to chuckle to himself.) Sorry, I just thought of it again.
KAHLIN: I'm just stoked that we're going to go and explore the caves! Maybe I'll find a secret untouched cavern that's never seen human life! That's gotta be a sign of something good right?
(The Cave - Girls)
The girls were steadily progressing through their cave, Yves taking a strong lead on the team with everyone else falling well in line.
"Doesn't this just feel a little bit easy?" Alyssa sighed, kicking a small rock that skittered down the path with an ever fading noise.
"Don't jinx it." Amelia sighed, "We just need a nice and easy win."
"An easy win isn't a win well earned if you ask me." Luciana smirked, "I want to know that I beat my opponent fair and square! And knowing that you could have lost at any moment makes it all the more thrilling!"
"Or we could, not endanger ourselves. That seems quite reasonable." Iris chuckled nervously, making sure she kept looking behind her, just in case."
"You're very jumpy right now." Amelia noted in a quiet tone so that only Iris could hear.
"I'm just making sure that we're okay, I can't help it." She shrugged, keeping her eyes flickering between forward and backwards. "You never know when something might ha-" Iris would have finished that sentence if it wasn't for the horrible sound of rock cracking, and suddenly, bits of the ceiling started to fall down on them.
"RUN!" The red-haired girl called, inciting her entire team to severely pick up the pace. They began running through the system as the ceiling started to fall around them.
"Quickly guys!" Yves urged her team, leading them down several turns in the hopes that they would eventually outrun the collapse.
"What kind of fucking cave is this!" Alyssa screamed, quite glad that her helmet was protecting her head from the rocks above.
"Well, if we want to get specific then I suppose this is probably a solutional cave - formed by water erosion on soluble minerals, calcium carbonate, that kind of thing. It's probably been spending thousands of years slowly changing its shape with the time. What that would mean is that any place under the local water level would be completely flooded with water. Which I think is truly interesting!" Yvette rattled off as they ran, pulling countless pieces of information from her head.
"It's an exciting cave!" Luciana cheered, her strides so long that she was basically caught up with Yvette in front of her.
"You won't be so excited when I tell you that we need to Jump!" Yves cried as she leaped seemingly into the abyss.
"Why would you do that?!" Yvette roared, "Now we're all going down with you!" She cried as she also descended down into the cave.
"Hell yeah!" Luciana cried, throwing her hands up.
"What the fuck did I sign up forrrrrrr?" Alyssa was next to descend into the depths of the cave.
"Well it's something to add to the resume." Amelia sighed as she followed Alyssa down. Aleena said nothing as she just seemed to be looking through her camera, trying to get those perfect shots.
"If we die… you guys were alright." Iris called to them all as she was the last to fall - the falling ceilings did not follow them down the hole.
(The Cave - Boys)
Boris was still slung over Miles' shoulder, he had given up his protest but the sportsman refused to put him down for fears that he might continue to cause trouble for the team. Damien was having to try really hard, his back looked a rather uncomfortable looking shape as he bent down to avoid hitting his head on yet another stalactite hanging from the ceiling.
"My back is going to be fucked after this." Damien sighed, taking the sudden higher ceiling as an opportunity to stretch his back out.
"Yeah that must suck." Ashe agreed, he was of course, a good foot shorter than Damien and had no problem simply walking through the cave.
"I could help with that." Adrian said eagerly, "I have massage experience." He noted with a small smirk, "Get all that tension out of your back."
"Mmm, I might have to pass on that one." Damien smiled, clearly not trying to be mean, but firm enough to dissuade the aspiring actor.
"Does anyone else hear that incessant ticking noise?" Boris moaned, rather loudly, to everyone around him.
"Yeah it's your brain rattling in your head." Nick snarked, earning a chuckle from Miles. "Or what's left of it."
"I'm serious!" Boris growled, "I can just hear this little tick - tock." He would have crossed his arms if he wasn't you know, hanging over someone's shoulder.
"Maybe it's the ever slowly approaching clock of death." Kahlino thought with a small furrow in his brow. "Coming to take us all." He looked around the cave with a slightly concerned look in his eye before it all melted away. "Cool."
"Not quite what I would call cool." Miles sighed, "But now that you mention it… I can definitely hear this ticking noise…"
"See! I only speak the truth!" Boris announced proudly with a wide beaming smile.
"Shut up. I'm listening to the ticking." Nick put a finger to Boris' lip as he started to advance towards the wall. He placed his eye against a crack before quickly recoiling and looking to his teammates. "Guys… I think we should run!" He announced, starting to sprint down the path, the way they were already going thankfully. Everyone else followed suit running fast as if their life depen-
BOOM!
The entire cave began to shake as a mighty sound shook the walls, causing bits of rubble to fall down on the boys.
"What the actual hell?!" Miles cried, still hauling Boris over his shoulder. "This is so ridiculously dangerous - I'm actually going to sue them!"
(Confessional)
MARNIE: We have thoroughly reviewed every challenge that will be used in our season and can assure viewers at home that absolutely none of our contestants are in any danger of being hurt beyond the odd bump and bruise.
(The Cave - Boys)
Of course, they're still running, Nick leading the pack with vigor while the others tried their best to keep up. Luckily, everyone was pretty fit, and even Miles, who as we all know by now, is carrying an entire extra person wasn't fumbling at all.
"This is ridiculous." Ashe panted out between breaths as the boys rushed ahead of the caving ceiling.
"Would it be Total Drama if you didn't fear for your life every second?" Damien replied with a chuckle, "Of course I'd rather not be in mortal danger, but I'd be a little mad if I wasn't… Does that make sense?"
"Yeah.. I guess it kinda does?" Ashe muttered, for his short stature he was keeping up rather well with the other more obviously athletic members of his team up front.
"I personally would have much preferred something simpler!" Adrian cried as he continued to run, "Maybe a nice little performance! Producers I know you're listening!"
"Less talking; more running!" Nick shouted to his team from the front of the back, "I can feel you falling behind!"
The three boys at the back groaned and picked up the pace again, it continued for another minute or so before Nick let out a rather loud curse.
"Hold onto your pants everyone!" He shouted to his team as he disappeared from view.
"Oh hell yeah! Mudslide!" Kahlin called behind him as he started sliding down the ramp. Their force meant that the others behind were getting progressively pulled faster and faster before soon all of them were sliding down into the caves depths.
"I'm so glad I'm not wearing my own clothes." Boris sighed, having now fallen off of Miles' shoulder. "Imagine if my designer labels were covered in mud, truly awful!"
"Dude do you ever stop talking?" Miles asked with a roll of his eyes, "I like talking as much as the next guy but you really just go on and on."
"I can't help it that I like to show off my voice to you all - you should say thank you really." The rich boy retorted with a smug smirk.
"Brace for impact!" Nick shouted as he landed on the floor, followed by Kahlin, who landed on top of him; then Miles, who landed on top of him; and then Boris, yeah you get the idea don't you. The seven boys had created their own little tower as they arrived in a large open arena like space at the bottom of the slide.
"I think I just broke my back." Nick groaned.
(Confessional)
NICK: What a way to start a challenge! I never knew that running for my life from a cave in would be so exhilarating! I hated every minute of it.
ASHE: I was just lucky that I was in the back of the group, I reckon I might have actually died if I was on the bottom!
(The Cave - Girls)
Splash! Splash! Splosh!
Finally all seven girls stopped falling and landed nicely in a pool of water, they were probably bruised but definitely not dead. They all rose to the surface, looking rather wet but otherwise okay.
"Everyone okay?" Yves asked quickly, treading water along with everyone else.
Echoes of 'Yep;, 'I'm okay' and 'Only fucking barely' (The last was definitely Alyssa) came back to her and she nodded.
"Okay that's good, let's find a way out of here quickly then." She started to look around but couldn't see a single way out of the pool. There were no open pathways along the walls, and climbing up the walls would have been ridiculous considering how far they had fallen.
"Are we stuck?" Amelia asked from somewhere in the water, "Should we use our radio?"
"No!" Luciana responded before Yves even had a chance, "There's got to be a way, we're not giving up so those guys can win!"
"I agree." Yves nodded.
Meanwhile, Iris and Aleena had fallen close to each other.
"I did say you shouldn't bring that camera." Iris sighed, "It's all ruined now."
"Oh don't worry." Aleena smiled, "It's waterproof. And fireproof, I think I got it made stab proof too just in case." She pulled it up and showed Iris that it was indeed still in full working condition.
"Oh." Iris said shortly, "My bad, sorry." She then swam away to continue looking for a way out like everyone else.
"Guys." Yvette called from the side of the room, "I think I found the way out. But you're not going to like it."
Everyone swam to join them as she showed them the route she had found, a passageway that was under the water, completely submerged. "We'd have to swim it." Yvette said with a sad look.
"Now that's exciting!" Alyssa cried.
"It um… appears that we don't have any other choice." Yves sighed, looking nervous for the first time, she took a deep breath. "And I suppose that I'll have to go first." She smiled, in an attempt to reassure her team but it wasn't all that convincing.
"You can do it hun." Luciana said with a smile, patting Yves on the back.
(Confessional)
YVES: I didn't want to appear weak in front of my team, but not being able to breathe is a really big worry of mine, and I just… I really don't know if I can do it.
IRIS: Aleena is a weird one she is, she's very blunt and doesn't actually seem to even want to be here… I don't want to make snap judgements but I find her to be just a little off putting. That attitude really is something.
ALYSSA: I would have just got on with it ya know. Yves says she's all strong and confident but a little bit of swimming makes her freeze up? A leader just shouldn't show weakness like that.
(The Cave - Girls)
"Okay! I can do this!" Yves cried as the other girls cheered her on. The dancer dived below the water and began swimming through the passage, it was reasonably big so she didn't have much problems maneuvering her arms and legs to propel herself. She passed a couple of fish looking things which quickly swam away from her as she approached. She started to feel the rope pull which meant that she was reaching the end of her slack, and Yvette would have to start following her. The fact that the rope became looser again meant that she had indeed begun swimming herself, but Yves didn't dare look back to check in case she lost her rhythm.
She swam for at least a minute without breathing, which really is a talent in and of itself but her skill with dancing likely meant that she had excellent stamina and breath control. Eventually the passage opened up and Yves immediately swam to the surface, drawing in a huge gulp of breath as she did. There was no time to celebrate however as she began to pull the rope along, helping the girls still stuck in the passage to swim.
Yvette's head of brown hair quickly pulled up, it's usual waves now compressed due to the water. She took a huge breath too and began pulling the other girls through the passage too. Luciana's head appeared, as Alyssa's followed soon soon after, both had huge smiles on their faces from the swim.
"Now that was cool! Luciana cheered, quickly pulling the rope with the rest of her team, "Underwater caving can be crossed off of the bucket list!"
"Hell yeah!" Alyssa cheered, "It wasn't even scary man!"
"Just keep pulling guys." Yvette reminded them, "We've still got three people in there."
Amelia's head was the next to pop up - she spat a little bit of water out as she came up before taking a breath.
"This water tastes awful." She sighed, "Like something died in it." A little fish skeleton floated by her as she said that and her eyes widened. "Oh that's so gross." She moaned, helping the others pull the rope.
The next head was Aleena's, she was holding her camera as she came up.
"Wow guys, you helped me get some great shots!" She exclaimed, "A fish came right up to my lens and everything."
"So you weren't even swimming?" Yves asked with a raised eyebrow, before Aleena could give a response, Iris came swimming to the surface. She cheered as she did, interrupting anything the filmmaker might have said.
"Wow! We made it guys!" The redhead said with a grin, "There's a platform over there!" She pointed over to the other side of this new pool and the group began to swim over. They all hauled themselves onto the rocks and took a long moment to catch all their breaths.
"Let's not make a habit of that." Yvette laughed as the group reveled in their own victory.
(Confessional)
LUCIANA: That was definitely a crazy experience! I get the feeling that the others on the team might not be as much of a thrill junkie as me but that just means that I can do all the wacky stuff this show will push us through! Really I'm just winning!"
(The Cave - Boys)
The boys were still standing in their arena, it turns out that there were actually three aths that the boys could choose to walk down, and they were currently deciding which one would be the best.
"I mean, it's not like we can know anything." Miles noted, "It's three identical passageways, we just have to pick one and hope that it leads us to where we need to go."
"Well all roads lead to Rome and all that." Adrian noted with a smirk, "They'll all take us to where we want to go, it just depends on how quickly we get there."
"I can feel wind coming from this one." Kahlin said as he stood by one of the doors, "If we follow it, it might lead us somewhere good."
"Don't we want to stay in the cave though?" Ashe asked, "But I guess it's not all that important." He muttered quickly, dismissing his own suggestion.
"I say we just go for it. The longer that we spend waiting around, the less time we spend actually searching for the treasure, and the closer the girls get to beating us." Nick said finally as he began walking down the path, attached to everyone else, they didn't have much of a choice in the decision and were forced to follow him down the rather refreshingly cool path.
"Must we walk much longer?" Boris asked, having now been freed from Miles' grip he was able to use his own two feet once more.
"We'll get there when we get there." Miles rolled his eyes, "You haven't even been walking anywhere near as long as the rest of us."
"Yes well my legs are used to being cared for, not dragged through a dirty old cave."
"He sure does know how to talk crap doesn't he." Damien giggled as he bent down to talk to Ashe, not a mere feat due to their foot size difference.
"I think it's a common thing with people from his sort of background." Ashe nodded, letting a small smile crack across his face.
"Oh it definitely is." Damien answered back with a smile of his own. The two awkward boys seemed to be hitting it off well.
"What are we talking about?" Adrian appeared almost out of nowhere, joining the boys' conversation.
"Oh nothing important." Ashe said awkwardly, rubbing his hand along the back of his neck.
"Just small talk." Damien said offhandedly, he looked immediately uncomfortable once Adrian appeared.
"Oh… that's nice." Adrian looked immediately disappointed at the stonewall but left the two alone as they shared a slightly exasperated look.
(Confessional)
DAMIEN: I don't mean to be rude but Adrian really does keep getting really close to me and trying to insert himself into everything I do. It's early days but I'm just not too keen on people who don't know where the boundaries are.
ADRIAN: Damien is so cool! He's like, all famous and stuff! I feel like he doesn't really want to talk to me right now but I'm sure that he'll give me a chance eventually!
(The Cave - Girls)
Having given themselves a moment to rest, the girls were once again on their feet and ready to continue their journey into the cave system. They had continued to walk down the path but were now faced with a very difficult obstacle. The path had now converged into a very narrow crawlway that would force the girls to pull their way through.
"This is ridiculous." Yves sighed as she got onto her knees and began to crawl through the tunnel.
"You can do it!" Luciana called to her as she began disappearing further into the cave. Alyssa was not looking as chipper however, her breathing had become laboured and there was an obvious sheen of sweat on her forehead. The heiress turned to the girl and raised an eyebrow before throwing an arm over her shoulder.
"What's up hun?" She asked sincerely, her usual tone softening dramatically.
"Don't tell anyone… I'm just… tight spaces man, they really fucking scare me." Alyssa pushed the words out between heavy breaths, she was shaking slightly.
"Hey hey, it's alright, we'll do this one together, me and you." Luciana smiled at her, "I have to go first anyway, so you follow right behind me and we'll stay together huh?"
"Yeah… we can do that." The tall girl nodded slightly, her breathing evening out slightly.
"You guys! We have no more rope!" Yvette called from the gap, causing Luciana to quickly shoot into action. She crawled down by the hole and gestured for Alyssa to follow her. The girl did although slowly.
"Look, it's not even that tight." Luciana smiled as she got ready to start crawling. "I'll go first and you can see." She began crawling down the path for a little way before shouting back to Alyssa, "You see? Loads of space!"
"Yeah! Yeah you're right!" Alyssa smiled as she also got down to crawl, she started crawling through the hole incredibly fast, obviously determined to get out of there as quickly as possible. "Go! Go! Go!" She called out to Luciana who couldn't help but let out a small chuckle. The heiress followed suit and began speeding through the hole in an attempt to get to the other side.
Both girls appeared on the other side one after the other into a new large room that didn't seem to have anything of note in it, where they were greeted by Yves and Yvette, both of whom were brushing dirt off of their bodies.
"Oh fuck yeah!" Alyssa smiled, "That wasn't even scary man." Crossing her arms with a confident look on her face that again caused Luciana to giggle, but the girl gave her a hug and patted her strongly on the back.
"You did really well." She smiled at her, "Proud of you."
Amelia quickly appeared in the new room that the girls found them in, followed closely by Aleena and Iris, the former of which wasn't even filming her crawl through the cave.
"Okay!" The last girl to arrive called out, brushing the dirt from her front. "Not at the end yet but hopefully we're not too far away."
"The only way to completely know would be to continue on further don't you think?" Yvette raised, "I feel like this challenge is just blindly walking through a cave system and hoping that we stumble upon the end, which is truly an awful idea if you think about it."
"It doesn't really matter if it's awful, we still have to do it if we want to win." Amelia noted with a roll of her eye. "Let's just keep going, the longer we wait the less chance we have to win."
"I agree." Yves echoed, she looked around the room and found only one path that the group could take, so she began walking down it, leading her team hopefully closer to the end.
(Confessional)
ALYSSA: Did you see that? I am unstoppable! Luciana is so nice man! I don't think I would have been able to even think about doing that without her calming me down. (Alyssa smiles happily, just looking rather proud of herself)
YVETTE: This challenge really is rather dumb, I mean there isn't any skill involved, it's complete luck of the draw hoping that we make it to the end before the other team. I mean, at least give us a map that would have allowed us to attempt to navigate our way instead of blindly stumbling like zombies.
(Outside the Cave)
Chris and Don were watching the teens on monitors, while Marnie sat close to them, making notes on a clipboard. The two hosts looked rather horrified at what they had seen while the woman seemed completely unfazed but it all.
"You're telling me you put a bomb in the cave system?" Don asked in disbelief. "You could have caused the entire mountain to cave in on their heads!"
"No I couldn't, I consulted a demolitions expert, and a geologist, just in case." Marnie replied dismissively, continuing to write more down on the clipboard.
"That doesn't mean you should do it?" Don simply looked shocked while Chris wasn't even able to speak, he just had his head in his hands.
"Look, I don't know what kind of boring gig you did on your race around the world, but you're doing Total Drama style now, and the viewers demand drama, either keep up or get out, I'm sure we can find a replacement. I think I remember that nice boy from season 6 keeps emailing me asking if I have a job…" The producer tapped her pen against her lip, pretending to be deep in thought as Chris' ears perked and his head shot up, casting daggers at Marnie with his eyes.
"We're not getting him." Chris asserted, "As long as it's been checked by the experts… it should be okay." He conceded, "But if Don wants to leave I won't stop him."
"No, it's fine, I'll stay…" Don looked conflicted but his want to be on the show, either to outshine Chris McLean or maybe even just the money was more than his moral dilemma.
"Good. We like that." Marnie smiled as she looked over at the screens. "Ooooh the boys have found the outside rope, that should be a good one." She smiled as she passed the hosts a big red button, "Just press it when I tell you." She winked at them both and settled in for the show.
(The Cliff Face - Boys)
"Oh come on!" Nick exclaimed into the mountains as he arrived on a narrow alcove on the outside of the mountain. It looked to be a good few hundred feet into the air, the cabin was but a small speck in the distance. Very deadly if one were to fall.
Without thinking, Kahlin continued walking and walked right into the back of Nick, causing him to stumble and nearly fall off the cliff, if Kahlin hadn't caught him first.
"Wow dude!" He cried, "Sorry about that, I was just in my own little head and didn't realise you stopped walking."
"No it's fine." Nick nodded, catching his breath after his close call. "We're all tied together anyway right? I would have just painfully slammed against the cliff and broken an arm or something."
"Exactly! Bright side!" Kahlin smiled, "So how do we even move on from here?"
"Probably that." Nick pointed to a rope tightrope, two ropes placed one on top of the other about five feet apart. He started to walk over it and used his foot to test the stability of the rope, it moved, but would definitely support their weight.
"That would make sense." Kahlin nodded, "Shall we go for it then?" He smiled,
"Can you guys actually move?!" Miles called from still inside the cave, unable to walk out onto the alcove due to space.
"Yeah we're just working it out!" Nick called back as he gripped the top rope and gingerly placed a foot on the bottom. He slowly began shuffling along the rope, it wiggled a lot with his weight but he managed to keep himself attached. Kahlin watched anxiously as the charming teen slowly but surely managed to get his feet onto the larger platform at the other side. Kahlin also beckoned Miles to come and join him on the small alcove, opting for a one in and one out policy on the small outcropping.
Nick stepped foot on the new safer platform and let out a large sigh of relief. He reached up and held the top rope so that it would be stablised and allow Kahlin to have a much easier time traversing the gap. The boy did so, the top rope now unmoving and Boris walked up to join Miles on the small ledge.
"Oh this is ridiculous. You carry me like an animal, throw me down mud and then expect me to cross a dangerous chasm with nothing but a rope!" Boris cried again, his style was clearly very melodramatic.
"Yep. And you're gonna do it." Miles nodded as he got onto the rope, Kahlin had now couched on the floor and held the bottom rope so that both of them were incredibly stable allowing for quick progress for the basketball player.
Boris cursed to himself before getting onto the rope, he too managed to quickly scurry across it without any danger; the boys had worked out a very manageable system. Adrian followed with speed and although Ashe was slightly slower due to only being a few inches taller than the actual ropes himself he also made it across without much trouble.
Damien was the last to cross the rope and looked a little uncomfortable but knew that he couldn't slow down the team. He stepped onto the rope and was shuffling along, his team still holding the ropes at the other side so they didn't move too much. He got about half way before there was a mechanical snip sound and the ropes completely fell away from under Damien. He let out a scream as he fell before the rope around his waist went taut and he stopped falling and instead started swinging towards the other side of the ravine. He hit the cliff face painfully, causing him to grunt in pain and hang in the air.
"Are you okay?!" Ashe called down, there was strain on his face as Damien's weight was pulling his own waist forward via the rope.
"I'm okay!" Damien responded with a thumbs up as he regained himself.
"We're going to pull you up!" Nick announced as he began walking backwards on the platform, he began walking into the caves once again, with his team following him, they slowly but surely were able to drag Damien back onto solid ground which he promptly collapsed onto, more in pure relief than exhaustion.
"Oh thank you!" Damien cried, "I really thought I was about to die there."
"Dude we wouldn't let you die." Kahlin laughed, patting the boy on the pack.
"Yeah that would have been such a tragedy!" Adrian added, smiling at Damien. The Broadway boy quickly stood up and brushed himself off, pushing his hair out of his face as he thanked his tribe again.
"Either way, we need to keep on going." He announced, gesturing for Nick to continue on trekking into the cave.
(Confessional)
BORIS: Honestly, I don't even know what Mother and Father were thinking when they applied me to this show, did they not bribe production to treat me better than everyone else? It's utterly despicable!
NICK: Don't think I didn't see those scissors literally attached to the cliff. First a bomb and then cutting wires out from under us? You guys are stooping to new lows this year man.
KAHLIN: Kinda wild how the ropes cut right when the last person was crossing, almost like it was fate or something. Are we being watched by some otherworldly entity who wants entertainment? That would be crazy dude.
(The Cave - Girls)
Having managed to pull their way through the tight crawl space and navigating through yet another of those long winding corridors, the girls had now come across a wall. About thirty feet high with an uneven enough surface to be able to climb.
"Looks like the way through is up there." Yvette pointed out as she joined Yves at the wall. "We're going to have to climb."
"Yeah… looks like we are." Yves noted as she pulled on one of the rocky bits jutting out from the wall to test if they were stable. "No choice but to go up." She smiled as she hoisted herself onto the wall with surprising grace. She pulled herself up a few more steps as the rest of the girls waited for her to get far enough for Yvette to start the climb.
The girl did but with far less grace than her predecessor, her arms were shaking and she struggled to get herself up the wall at all.
"Don't worry I got you." Luciana smiled as she lifted Yvette up and placed her on her own shoulder like a parrot before starting the climb up. She was much quicker and actually caught up to Yves fairly speedily. Alyssa followed afterwards and the rest of the girls managed to climb up the wall without much trouble. They all were at the top and looking down the path that they were now presented with.
"That's not…" Amelia gasped as Aleena pulled out her camera and began to use her zoom function to get a better look at the end of the tunnel.
"I think it is!" She cried, her camera showed a large silver trophy, something that could definitely be considered a treasure for the win.
"Then we better run!" Alyssa called out as Yves broke out into a sprint, followed closely by her whole team.
"It's the boys!" Iris called out as the boys appeared on the other side of the trophy, jumping down from a ledge above.
"It's the girls!" Adrian called as well, pointing at the group as they took a second to actually register what was happening.
"Then we need to run!" Nick urged his team to action as they also began sprinting. The two teams were neck and neck, just metres away from the trophy when both Nick and Yves jumped forwards as the leaders of the challenge, both of their arms outstretched hoping to claim the win for their team.
They both tumbled to the floor as one person held the trophy up in the air triumphantly, panting heavily from the exercise..
"Congratulations Yves and the Freezing Felines! You are the winner of the first challenge and safe from being the first person voted out!" Chris' voice crackled over their radios, "Snowy Snakes, you've got a date with me and Mr Don here at the elimination ceremony where one of you will be the first person voted out."
"Good game." Nick stood up and shook Yves hand, the girl just nodded curtly and turned back to her team, hoisting the trophy into the air.
"So how do we get back down?" Miles asked with a raised brow.
"Just look outside for me." Don's voice came through the radios - both teams were confused as there were no open holes in the cave wall, until there was a mechanical whir and bart of the wall disappeared, revealing the sky and snow outside. There was a small platform with a carriage waiting, one of those fancy ski lift things. The carriage was big enough for both teams as they piled in and spent the next few minutes in awkward silence as the carriage descended down the wires back to the hosts. Behind them, the hole in the mountain closed itself back up, leaving it looking exactly the same as it did before.
(Back on the Ground)
The teams bundled out of the lift and were met with Chris and Don.
"Now that was a fun challenge." Chris smiled, "Felines, you guys killed it so you get the night off to relax!"
"But Snakes, you guys came up short and will be meeting the two of us at elimination tonight, don't be late." Don smiled as the girls gave hugs of congratulation to each other.
"Alright. You're dismissed." Chris nodded as the groups dispersed to go about and do their own thing.
(Confessional)
YVES: It feels amazing to bring the win to our team! Hopefully it instills some confidence in me as a leader, and we can continue this streak all the way until the end. I didn't want to show my cards too early but it definitely feels like it's paid off.
DAMIEN: When you nearly die and still don't win, it's a real knock to the confidence. (He chuckles slightly at himself) And it's even worse because we're going to have to vote someone off right now and I'm not even sure who I want that to be…
ALEENA: The journey wasn't easy but we got to the destination that we wanted - I got some great shots and I'm still here for the next few days because we won the challenge. It really has been a win-win kind of day for me.
MILES: It sucks that we lost, but there is some definite dead weight on the team that we can trim to hopefully make us stronger in the long run, and also make sure that people don't start trying to target me, because that's not gonna work for me here.
(The Living Room)
Damien and Ashe were sitting in the living room together, the taller boy sat with a mug of hot tea in his hands, cradling it for warmth while Ashe laid across one of the sofas looking rather comfortable.
"It really sucks that we lost doesn't it…" Ashe sighed, staring up at the ceiling.
"Yeah…" Damien echoed, taking a sip of his tea. "It was going to happen eventually, just wish it wasn't the first time."
"Yeah that's the feeling." Ashe agreed, closing his eyes slightly, "You're Damien Parsons right?"
Damien just sighed in response, looking into his tea for a second before answering. "Yeah that's me, want an autograph?"
"No… I don't think so." Ashe admitted, "I'm not obsessed or anything, just thought I recognised you."
"That's what I was worried about." Damien grumbled.
"It's not that big of a deal… I don't think." Ashe offered, turning to face the taller boy. "Like, I only know because I like a good musical, and I've seen you in stuff. Adrian probably knows who you are and that's it. Not to like, assume but I don't think the others are very musically inclined." He lets out a small giggle
"Maybe you're right…" Damien still looked uncomfortable, staring into his tea. "I just wanted to come into the game with that fresh slate…" His voice petered out as a voice came from the doorway.
"Sup guys." It was Miles, the boy stood against the frame with a small goofy grin on his face, "Hope you weren't talking about me?"
Ashe immediately turned beet red at the accusation even if it was A) a joke and B) had absolutely no solid ground anyway because it was a joke. "Um… no! Of course not!" He stammered out as Damien continued to look into his tea. Miles let out a heart laugh and threw himself onto the sofa next to Damien.
"So… what are we talking about?" He asked with a little raise of his eyebrow, throwing his arm over the back of the sofa.
"Not a lot really… just life outside of the game." Damien muttered, taking another sip of his tea, "Haven't thought about the vote yet."
"Really? Then why don't I help you think about it?" Miles smirked, looking between the two boys.
(Confessional)
MILES: Damien and Ashe seem okay, I guess? One is really quiet and the other one is also really quiet and slightly messy but I think that just makes them easier to control. At the end of the day, the less they talk, the less chance they have of letting something we have slip. So I might as well use that to my advantage and form a little group to vote out some people I don't want in the game.
ASHE: Miles seems okay I guess, he's a little forceful but his idea makes sense… and Damien seems in on it 's probably not a good idea to rock the boat this early is it? And if that's where the votes are heading I really don't want to be on the outs!
(The Dining Room)
Iris, Luciana, Alyssa and Yves were all sat together at a table in the dining room celebrating their win. The four of them sat with the trophy, which they were allowed to keep.
"How cool is it that we won the first challenge?" Iris said with a big smile, rubbing her hand on the trophy just to remember that it was real.
"I expected nothing less." Yves let a smile crack her lips, "It was a good win girls, I'm proud of us."
"Hell yeah!" Alyssa shouted, "We showed those boys not to mess with us!"
"It was a good outcome." Luciana echoed, "I really didn't know what to expect coming in, but it's good to know that we've got a good team of people around us to lift us to victory."
"You talk really differently when you're out of the challenge, Luciana, you know that?" Iris giggled, "It's like an entirely different person." The heiress just giggled at the statement and nodded.
"Please call me Luci, Luciana sounds so formal now that we're friends." She smiled, "I think it's just this competitive switch in me that makes me go crazy in competition. I've always had it, ever since I was little I wanted to win. So I guess my voice changes to suit."
"I think it's cool!" Alyssa smiled, "It's like your superhero persona or something! An Alter-Ego."
"Yes. I do suppose that would be a good analogy for it." Luciana chuckled, "And of course, thank you Yves for leading us spectacularly to victory."
The dancer nodded her head, accepting the praise but doing nothing to add more to the conversation, just letting the three girls natter on, more than content to listen.
(Confessional)
LUCIANA: I never really thought about being competitive in that way, but I do suppose that I can get a little bit rough and ready when winning is on the line. Daddy says that it's the way to go when you need to get ahead in life, so I guess that I'm just applying his words into practice.
IRIS: Yves is an interesting person… she doesn't say a lot unless she has to, but I think that she's always listening. It's quite refreshing really to have someone who is just the more quiet type. I think we'll get closer just through that, I hope so anyway, she's a strong ally to have.
(Boys' Bedroom)
Adrian and Nick were sat in the bedroom not doing a lot. The two were just chilling on their respective beds, not saying a lot but the energy in the air definitely meant that the two were worrying about the vote.
"It's got to be Boris right?" Adrian asked with a raised brow, "I mean, you saw the dude at the challenge, all he did was complain about how he was above us and that doesn't sit right with me."
"Yeah… I get you there." Nick agreed, "The dude is seriously entitled." The taller boy started to tap his finger on his chin, mulling over the options, "It's definitely smarter to keep the tribes strong in this situation I suppose, after all we have no idea how long it will be until this drops into an individual game… right?" Nick looked over at the theatre boy after his spiel, asking for some form of approval.
"Exactly what I was thinking dude, I reckon everyone is going to have the same mindset too, it doesn't make much sense to vote out someone like you who's all big and strong against Boris who is not only weak physically but also just a right pain to be around."
"You've got a smart head." Nick looked at Adrian with a smile, "It should serve you well in the game."
"Ah, thank you…" Adrian giggled slightly, rubbing the back of his neck as a slight red blush appeared on his cheeks.
"Don't mention it bud." Nick smiled again smoothly at the boy as he walked out of the room, "I'm gonna catch some fresh air."
"Yeah! You go do that!" Adrian called back to him as the boy left.
NICK: I meant what I said! Adrian's read on the game is good! Boris is absolutely the weak link on the team, and it would be silly for us not vote out anyone else, which now I've said it, means that he's absolutely not going to be the one voted out huh?
ADRIAN: Nick is really nice man, that dude jut says stuff that goes right to your heart! Hopefully he's right and everyone else will vote out Boris too because that boy is such a liability!
(Girls' Bedroom)
Amelia and Aleena were sat on the bed reviewing the film that Aleena had managed to catch that day, they were both hunched over her camera watching it back slowly.
"I like your shot there." Amelia smiled, pointing at the screen, "The composition is nice, lighting feels poignant but not overbearing."
"I agree." Aleena nodded, enjoying talking about her passion to anyone, "I reckon this would be a good contender for the eventual documentary I make from my time here. You'd be willing to do a sit down interview right?"
"Of course!" Amelia smiled, "As long as you pay me."
"I'll pay you when I win." Aleena replied bluntly, it wasn't quite obvious if she was joking but the little smile that tugged at the corner of her lips probably suggested as much. "Oooh this is a good shot of Yves, she's actually smiling! I didn't know that she could do it."
"Yeah she's definitely a slightly more strong and silent one isn't she." Amelia giggled as she watched more of the film. "I reckon if we lost I would try to vote her out, she's the type of person people somehow just gravitate towards, but she would stab you in the back in a heartbeat." She spat out slightly bitterly as Aleena nodded thoughtfully.
"I never really thought about it like that but I could see it… I guess we should keep our eyes on her then."
"I reckon we should, partner." The actress smiled as she held out her hand, the two shook and sealed the deal.
(Confessional)
AMELIA: People like Yves can be the type to be hiding their true intentions - I'd rather not place my trust in someone and have it broken brutally. Of course I don't even trust Aleena no matter what I said - but I think she's a necessary stepping stone to taking out the threats on this team when the time comes to it.
ALEENA: I got some really good shots in that challenge! I knew coming here was a good thing to do! And now I'm working with Amelia, the two of us should be able to stay even longer so I can increase my B-Roll.
(The Bathroom - The Real One)
Kahlin was currently brushing his teeth in the bathroom while Boris dried his hair, obviously having just come out of the shower.
"And it's utterly ridiculous that even though they're making me sleep in the same room as you all, which I am willing to let slide for the sake of competition, they aren't even giving me my own separate bathroom to use! Who knows when this one was last cleaned! Or what the other contestants even carry." The rich boy rambled, angrily drying his hair at the same time with a towel. "I even brought my own towels from home just in case! This is cashmere!"
"Yeah dude, that really sucks for you." Kahlin muttered between brushes, his speech being quite muffled due to the brush and foam in his mouth.
"And don't even get me started on the clothes that they gave us! I mean they're polyester! Do you know what polyester is? The devil's material, you may as well have swathed me in fire!" The boy continued without even really paying attention to Kahlin, who just continued brushing his teeth, now not deigning him with his own response.
The flow of conversation was ruined by the entrance of another boy into the bathroom. Now likely known for interrupting conversations, Miles stood in the doorway once again, he didn't have a towel or any wash equipment so was not here to clean up.
"Ah my two favourite boys! Just who I wanted to see." He smiled at them both.
"And what business do I have with you heathen?" Boris snarled as Miles let out a hearty laugh.
"Well, if you don't want to go home first, I would suggest that you listen to me." He smiled at Boris, a look in his eye that betrayed the warm expression on the lower half of his face. "Unless you want to of course. I can just leave and write your name down now."
Boris looked terrified as he looked at the basketball player.
"No! Tell me everything!" He demanded, pleading with his eyes at Miles who chuckled and waved his hands around his face.
"Alright, you've twisted my arm… here's how it looks like it's going down."
(Confessional)
KAHLIN: That Miles sure is something huh? Did you see the way his whole persona just flipped like that? I'm not even sure he really noticed I was in there, but his idea is… interesting. I'm looking forward to seeing how it pans out.
BORIS: Ah, of course I already knew everything he told me anyway. I just needed someone to confirm it for me. And Miles did a fantastic job - this boy isn't going anywhere.
(The Elimination Ceremony)
The seven boys sat outside on logs set in the snow around a large roaring fire. Chris and Don were stood on the other side with a tray. Said tray held six little snow globes with what can only be described as a replica of Chris and Don hugging in them. It was rather cute I guess.
"Welcome Snakes to your first elimination! And the first one of the series no less! Well done guys, you really flopped that challenge." Chris chuckled.
"Well, I wouldn't say flopped, but you guys still lost and that does indeed mean that you need to vote someone out." Don interjected as Chris shot him a little glare.
"You should know the rules by now, you'll each cast your votes. If you're safe you'll receive this little Snow Globe of safety which will be worth a fortune on the internet when this season is over by the way." Chris continued with his usual grin as Don rolled his eyes at his co-host.
"The person who does not receive the Snow Globe will be tonight's loser and will be forced to leave the game." Don said with a solemn look.
"And trust me, this year it's a doozy." Chris laughed as the contestants shared just slight looks of fear.
"Alright. Let's go vote then." Don smiled as Nick stood up to cast his vote.
(Voting Confessional)
ADRIAN: Boris, I'm sorry buddy but you're just too much for this game. I don't need dead weight on the team.
KAHLIN: Miles… I don't know if you even know I know your game, but you're too dangerous to be kept in this game for too long - I don't even think this vote will send you home, but something tells me that it will have a lasting impact on the game.
MILES: Now watch as my plan comes into fruition. (He chuckles slightly) Like taking candy from a baby.
(Back to the ceremony)
"The votes are in." Chris smiled as he stood in front of the seven boys. "First snow globe goes to… Ashe." He threw one at the boy who caught it, but only just, he gripped it to his chest tightly so he didn't actually smash it on the ground.
"Damien, you're safe bud." Don threw the next snow globe to the tall boy who caught it with more ease than Ashe. The two shared a smile at each other as the ceremony continued.
"Nick. You're all good." Chris smiled as he threw the snow globe at the boy who caught it readily.
"Kahlin, you're safe for another few days."
"And now we're down to three. You all received votes my friends." Chris tutted as he looked at the three boys. Boris looked nervous, Adrian surprised, and Miles kept a serious poker face on "But Miles, you didn't receive enough, so you're safe for me."
"That leaves us with only two." Don continued, looking between the two, the nervousness had increased on both of their faces as Don drew out this moment for what felt like an eternity. "The person leaving us first on, who must leave the game and take our new mysterious method of exit is…
…
…
…
…
…
…
…
…
…
…

…
…
Adrian." Don said with a sad look on his face, "Boris you're safe for now." He said as he threw the snow globe at the rich boy who caught it with joy, not even caring to curb his enthusiasm as he cheered for his safety.
"Well damn…" Adrian noted with a shocked look, "I guess I really did have a terrible read on what people wanted… I wish you all the best of luck I guess." The boy rubbed the back of his neck as he walked away with Chris while Don stayed behind.
"The rest of you can go back inside now." The host said with a smile as the boys walked back into the cabin, just the six of them.
(Confessional)
MILES: Told you that it was like taking candy from a baby. I figured that everyone would be gunning for Boris, but the dude is so easily manipulated, why get rid of such a good tool to the end? It just took the words in the right ears to get him out, and I don't regret a thing.
NICK: Well damn, didn't see that one coming… but we move on I suppose, the game keeps moving even when people have been taken out of it so I don't have time to be resting on my laurels or feeling sorry for myself, time to kick it into high gear!
DAMIEN: I mean, can you blame me? Dude was like needlessly creepy towards me just because he wanted me to get him a part on stage… maybe say hi first, I don't know…
(The top of the mountain)
Chris and Adrian, now joined by Don, stood at the top of the mountain, on the side that faced away from the cabin. Adrian had a large helmet on his head that was obviously designed to protect him from something, when you looked down you could see a large pair of skis attached to his feet.
"Well bud, welcome to the Ski of Shame." Chris said with a smile, "It's simple dude, you're gonna ski down the mountain."
"But I don't have any sticks?" Adrian asked, looking back at Chris through his helmet.
"Oh you won't need those." Chris chuckled as he gave Adrian a push and sent his rocketing down the mountain on his skis, screaming as he did.
"Bit harsh McLean." Don noted as the other man shrugged.
"Gotta do what I gotta to get that she-devil off my back." Speaking of the devil, their walkie-talkies rocketed into life as Marnie's voice appeared on the other end.
"Okay! Start the outro now!" She called to them both as they got into their outro position, which was now being filmed on the top of the mountain.
"What a challenge that was eh Chris?" Don switched into presenter mode immediately, giving his co-host a warm line.
"Indeed it was Don! We saw the Felines face some of their biggest fears, and we saw the Snakes do some totally insane feats of skill!"
"It was unfortunately the Snakes and therefore the boys who took the loss though and our sweet up and coming thespian Adrian took the fall thanks to Basketball player Miles."
"Can he continue his act of playing nice, or will Kahlin's sharp skills and non-existent presence prove to be his downfall?"
"Will Yves continue to lead her team with a strong and silent act? Or will Amelia get her way and take her out before she hurts someone?"
"Find out the answers to all of these and more! Next time on Total-!"
"Drama-!"
"Audacious Alpines!"
Ah! Adrian is the first one to bite the dust! I definitely wanted a first who didn't feel like a first boot. Adrian was a good guy who was personable and had a decent read on the game but it was his eagerness to make friends and talk to his idols which was unfortunately his downfall. Thank you to IGwilledCheeseI for allowing me to use him! I hope you continue to read the story and enjoy it as we continue!
Everyone else, feel free to leave reviews letting me know what you think of the chapter, how was your character, how were the others, any favourites, any people you're not warming up to? Loads of things that could be said and I would love to hear it all!
Hope you all have a wonderful day as we continue!
