I was able to get this chapter back out so soon because it didn't take much altering either. I hope you are all enjoying everything and aren't too upset with the changes I'm making. I know I'm basically changing the plot some, but at least I wasn't so deep in to where it's a drastic change, right?
Chapter 7 Dinnertime
A pair of blue eyes closed at the feel of the hands traveling up her body. Her pink, kiss swollen, lips parted in a soft moan as they reached her thighs and rounded to come over the swell of her tight bottom, squeezing the flesh. His harms wrapped around her body and pulled her closer to him while his mouth began a torturous game on her throat, sucking and nipping at the flesh.
Winry didn't know what it was she was feeling, but she knew that she didn't want it to stop. Her body, her mind, everything was on fire and alive with what this man was doing to her. Before she knew it, she was falling back and came into contact with a bed, whose it was she wasn't sure.
He was leaning over her now, this mysterious man whose face was in shadow. Though she couldn't see who he was, she wasn't afraid. Her eyes traveled to his mouth, those soft lips that were just moments ago kissing the life out of her. A smirk appeared on them as the face stared, somehow she knew, down at her. It was a trademark smirk that no one could forget.
"Are you afraid?" came Mustang's voice. The shadows cleared and his dark eyes bore into hers. He inched closer, their noses touching. "Are you ready to be mine?"
Winry didn't know what to say. She was unsure of the commitment she was about to make, this deal with the devil she had made. All she knew was that if his hand kept running those circles on her thigh, then there would be no holding back any longer.
"I…don't know." Her blue eyes turned away. She didn't know anything about what she thought she wanted to do.
Mustang looked thoughtful for a moment and sat back some, giving her space enough to sit up on her elbows. He stared at her a while longer as if waiting for her to say more. That's was the first time Winry really looked at him. She didn't know when his shirt had come off, but the body this man had was godly. It was no wonder so many women wanted him. His arms were strong and his shoulders broad. There was a perfect set of abs that she just wanted to run her hand over.
"You know, your mind is so fogged and unsure." He said.
Winry nodded. "I know. I can't even tell what I want sometimes. I shouldn't have put us in this situation. I shouldn't have dragged you into this."
Roy just stared and listened to her confessional.
"What does your heart say…"
Winry's eyes flew open and she sat up with a jolt when she felt someone shaking her shoulder. She whipped her head to the side and saw Riza, giving her a strange look. Their eyes held each other's for a brief second while she waited for her breathing to try to return to normal.
"Are…you ok?" she asked, unsure of how she should perceive the girls actions.
Winry managed to calm her breathing down and put her hand to her chest. She was drenched in sweat and feeling not too good at all. In fact, she almost felt sick. The knot in her stomach was so tight right now.
"I'm sorry…I was dreaming…What time is it?" she managed out.
"It's almost time to meet everyone for dinner." Riza replied. "But, if you're not feeling well, I can let the others know."
Winry shook her head and sighed. "No, I'm ok. Bad dream is all. I'll be ready soon." she said, not wanting the woman to worry for her.
"…Ok…" Riza tossed her another side glance before walking out of the room and leaving the blonde to her thoughts.
Winry just sat there and put her head in her hands. Here she was dreaming about him! And what he was going to do to her! Were her nerves so bad that she was psyching herself out? Was she just over eager? Sighing again, she took a deep breath and steeled her emotions.
Winry finally got up and decided to change into her clothes for dinner. She found a white sundress that came to her mid-thigh and a pair of white sandals. Looking in her mirror, she put her hair into a ponytail and added a bright blue flower to the side, accenting her eyes. She was ready! She turned and picked up her room key and the extra one Roy had given her and put them both in her small blue bag.
She gave herself a final look over in the mirror and took a deep breath, letting it out slowly and reeling in her emotions. The dream meant nothing and was just a manifestation of how nervous she was. Now was not the time to let herself get freaked out over trivial things.
Riza was waiting in the sitting room, already dressed and wearing something similar to her, only her dress was red and much longer. Seeing the usually serious woman in normal clothes and so at ease was definitely going to take some getting used to. She was gorgeous and it made her wonder how Mustang had not noticed this woman much sooner. They always seemed so close, but never that close.
"Ready?" Riza asked.
Winry took a deep breath and smiled. "As ready as I'll ever be"
The guys had already made their way to the restaurant and grabbed a table. They had only ordered drinks so far while they were waiting for the girls to arrive. They had not been waiting long and were taking their time admiring the restaurant. It was beach themed and had surf boards hanging from the ceiling and the waitresses were all wearing bikini tops and hula skirts.
"Man, they really pic a theme and know how to stick with it around here." Breda commented.
"Well, when said theme is what draws all the vacationers to the spot, I guess you at least have to be dedicated to it." Hues answered.
"That's for damn sure." Havok smiled and watched as one of the waitresses passed him, eyeing her skirt.
Breda sighed. "You're so hopeless. You think you can go for Winry and still check out all these other women?"
This got the others attention at the table and they both looked over at him. Mustang sipped his drink and pretended to be uninterested in where the conversation seemed it was about to go. Mentally though, he had to smirk. Looks like I beat you to her Havok.
"You really planning on going that route?" Maes asked. "You do know that she is one tough cookie."
"He should be more worried about Fullmetal if he finds out."
Havok looked over at Breda. "It's not like the two of them are dating so it's fair game." he defended.
"But they are childhood friends. That should matter for something." Hues said. He knew that Ed probably had some feelings for the girl that he either didn't want to admit to or he didn't understand. He was still a kid after all.
"Them being childhood friends only means there's a chance that he might like her. It doesn't guarantee anything." Havok said.
Breda cleared his throat. "How about we save this conversation for another time."
They all looked up and noticed Winry and Riza entering the restaurant. Hues stood and waved them over to their table. "This way you two!"
Winry looked in the direction of the voice and saw the guys already waiting. She waved back and couldn't help but to notice mustang. He had a red button up with the buttons at the top undone and his hair a little messy. She blushed and looked down, not wanting to be caught staring. She wasn't used to seeing any of them out of uniform honestly.
She and Riza walked over to the table and took the empty seats that had been left for them. Winry ended up sitting next to Havok while Riza was next to Roy. "So, I hope we haven't been keeping you all waiting too long." she said.
Hues smiled. "No, we only just got here ourselves. And might I add that the two of you look lovely tonight."
Winry and, more surprisingly, Riza both blushed. "Thank you." they both muttered.
The waitress finally returned to the table and they were able to go ahead and get dinner started in full swing. It turned out to be a pretty pleasant evening with everyone laughing and telling stories of the past to each other. Winry listened and was happy for the chance to learn so much about everyone. She even told some of her own stories about herself and the Elric brothers. She tried not give away anything too embarrassing for the two, but some things had slipped out.
Through most of the dinner, everyone seemed fully at ease. Roy had even supplied some of the stories told that night and even responded to hers, wanting more information to use to embarrass Ed with. The conversations all flowed so freely, it was like she had known this group her entire life,
"This place has some great food!" Breda exclaimed, leaning back in his chair.
"You would know. You ate almost everything." Havok commented to his friend.
"Hey, I don't hold back. You only live once." he laughed.
The waitresses were taking all of the trays of food away from the table and refilling everyone's drinks. Mustang had ordered a margarita pitcher for the table and was pleased to see Winry also taking part in on the drinking. He didn't know how fond of alcohol she was, but he figured that she would need something in her system for later.
A knowing smirk came to his face. That's right. Tonight, was going to be the night.
It wasn't too much longer until everyone was full and drunk enough to be ready to go back to their rooms. Breda and Havok left the table first, Breda letting Havok lean on him. He had drunk the most of all of them. Hues said his farewells also, wanting to go and call his wife and daughter before he turned in for the night.
"I'll escort you two to your room." Mustang said, standing up.
Winry and Riza followed. The walk back to their room was pretty quiet, only to Winry who was lost in her own mind. Riza and Roy were talking about nothing in particular. The poor girl's head was fuzzy from the alcohol and she was beginning to think that she might have overdone it. But, she felt…better somehow.
She was sure that tonight was it, and now that she wasn't shaking from being so nervous, she felt more at ease. In fact, she was mentally planning her escape. She wasn't sure how hard a sleeper Riza was, but hopefully sneaking out of the room wouldn't be so hard. Luckily, she and Riza had a different section for their beds so maybe she wouldn't even hear the door open.
Arriving at their room, Roy and Riza stopped to talk for a bit and Winry just brushed past them, about to unlock the door and go in. "Goodnight." she muttered.
"I'll be in soon. Sleep well." Riza smiled.
Winry nodded and entered, closing the door behind her. She leaned against the frame for a second, listening to the two of them talk.
"Tonight has been fun." Riza smiled. "I think that this vacation was definitely a good idea."
Roy nodded. "Yeah. Everyone does seem to be enjoying themselves. A little peace is never a bad thing, especially when you're in our line of work."
"So, are you turning in for the night or is there some other plans?"
Roy shrugged. He looked at the bottom of the door and noticed the shadow, aware that Winry was still standing there and listening. "I'm going to turn in whenever Hues is done talking to his family. You know how excited and loud he can be."
Riza laughed. "You're right. Well, see you tomorrow." she said and turned to leave.
Roy turned to walk away also. "Yup…See you later."
Winry hurried and made it to her room before Riza opened the door and caught her listening. She could tell that by the way Mustang said the 'you', that he knew she was listening. He knew she would catch the signal. It really was tonight!
Ok, just take a deep breath. You can do this.
Winry stood outside the door that led to the room that Roy had given her the key for. Said key was clasped tightly in her hands and her palms were almost turning white. If she knew Mustang, he was already in the room and waiting for her. She has weird image of candles and rose petals being everywhere. She swallowed. This was it. There was no going back. Now or never…
"Are you going to stand out there all night?"
Winry jumped and almost fell back. Mustang was standing in the doorway and looking down at her, smirking. She had been so lost in her own mind that she didn't even hear when he opened the door.
"You coming in or what?" he asked. Nervous didn't even describe how this girl looked to him right now. "Why don't you come in and have sit down for a bit." he offered.
Winry nodded and walked into the room. She noticed that it was not set up like the other rooms. There was one bed, a bathroom, and a sitting room off to the side. This looked more like a normal hotel room. She looked around for a bit and then decided to grab a seat on the sofa in the sitting area. Her hands were in her lap and palms sweaty. The alcohol she had had during dinner had run out by now. She also noticed there wasn't a candle or rose in sight.
Well, they had decided on a no romance rule, so what was she expecting. Though, she had made it clear that her first time was supposed to be special, so the lack of atmosphere was a bit saddening. Maybe she should have drunk more at dinner.
"Drink," Roy asked, handing her a glass, as if reading her mind. He took a seat in the chair across from her, not wanting to freak her out any more than she already looked like she was. He wasn't really sure where to start, but hopefully some casual conversation would relax her more.
"So, how do you like it here so far?"
Winry took a sip of her drink before answering. "I-It's very...nice."
"Nice, Is that all? You get to enjoy a paid vacation with a bunch of state alchemist and it's just nice?"
Winry waved her hands in front of herself. "I meant no disrespect…It's very nice and I'm gracious for the opportunity to come." she corrected in a rush.
Roy shook his head and sighed. "Geez, calm down. I was only joking."
"I'm sorry." she muttered.
"Look, you're going to need to calm down. This was your idea in the first place. Any plans on backing out need to be done now." Roy said. "I agreed to this, but I'm not going to hurt you or be disappointed if you want to back out."
"It's not that." Winry swallowed some more of her alcohol. "I just…I'm unsure…but…I'm not backing down." she finished with more resolve than she thought she had.
Roy smirked. "You remember our terms right? Are you ready to commit to that?"
Winry nodded. "I do and I am." Somewhere in the back of her mind she was patting herself on her back for how brave and sure she sounded, knowing damn well she felt none it. Her heart must have been beating a thousand miles a minute right now.
" How is the drink?" Mustang stood and moved over to the other side of the room, taking a seat on the edge of the bed.
Winry looked at her cup and saw that it was almost empty. She finished off the rest and placed the now empty cup on the table. She walked over to where Roy was and stood in front of him. He smirked and clapped, turning off the lights. Winry almost laughed. 'Nice, a clapper.'
Roy placed his hands on either side of her hips and pulled her closer, looking up at her in the dark. He had to say, even with the room so shadowed, her eyes still shined like blue stars in a sky. He had never really taken the time to notice how truly beautiful this girl was. It was almost heart wrenching to think that he had done something so bad to tarnish such a creature.
Winry stared back down at him, lost in his gaze. She took a breath and placed her hands on his shoulders. "Understand, that I'm doing this for me. It's not for any other reasons. It may be strange, but this is what I need; my own form of change." she spoke in an even tone. "Don't expect anything else from this."
Roy chuckled. He released his hold on her and stood up, moving to stand in front of her and pushing her back onto the bed as he did. She hit the mattress with a graceless thump.
"We have the terms already laid out. I don't expect anything more."
To Winry, that sounded so weird. She was using him is what it felt like in that moment.
"Don't start to think like that." Roy could tell from the shift in her expression where her thoughts were headed. "I agreed to this, willingly."
"But why," Winry whispered. She suddenly just needed to know why he was wasting his time with her.
Roy thought for a moment. He wasn't even sure if he had the answer to that question right now. She had asked and here he was, with next to no thought put into it. He was sure of one thing, as odd as it may be to him. "There's nowhere else I'd rather be right now."
Winry nodded. That didn't answer her question, but for right now, she would take it. "Well," she started, sick of all the talking, "are we going to do this or not?"
Roy smirked and started to unbutton his shirt, advancing towards the bed. "As you wish."
On to the next chapter! Read and Review! Lol, little cliffy at the end of this one!
