Sixteen-year-old Isabella was sitting in the coffee shop, her tepid coffee sitting untouched. She took a deep breath and sighed, a content smile playing at her lips.
Phineas walked in, saw his girlfriend and smiled. He placed his order and went to sit with her. "Is this seat taken?" He asked and became worried when Isabella didn't answer. She sat staring off into space.
Phineas went to collect his order when his name was called. He came back to the table, placed his drink down and leaned over to whisper in Isabella's ear. "What'cha' doin'?" He jumped back, but was a bit slow as Isabella turned her head quickly, colliding with his own.
Isabella's eyes went wide as her hands covered her face. "I'm so sorry, Phineas. I didn't see you there." He chuckled as he rubbed the side of his face.
