Lori stepped in through the front door and she saw Luna and Lynn watching Gordon Ramsey lighting up some cooks in Hells' kitchen.
"Hey Lor," Luna said, "How was the guy?"
"He's doing great," Lori said "We talked, and we vented until he felt tired and fell asleep."
"That's nice," Lori said, "Hey, where's mom and dad?"
"They're at the DMV, they had to renew their little sticker on the back of the license plate," Lynn replied
Lori stepped upstairs and saw Lucy sitting on the bed having a make-out session with her statue.
"Gross,"
She turned to Lisa and Lilys' room and she peered inside. Lily was asleep and snoring while Lisa was breaking down some moves with her headphones on. She whispered the words for a rap song and started to breakdancing. Lori walked to peer into Lincoln's room and saw him tapping his Xbox controller sadly on the palm of his hand. Lori sighed and she slowly opened the door.
"You miss him huh?" Lori asked
"Yeah," Lincoln replied "It just feels lonely now that he's not here."
"Yeah, he really acted like your unrelated brother," Lori said "He cared for all of us actually. He didn't let us fight and gave us great advice for when we needed help."
"Yeah, that's one thing, but he would play with me when he knew he didn't half to. He would put time aside just to hang out with us." Lincoln said, "And now it's my fault that he lost his memory."
"Hey, don't be so hard on yourself Linc," Lori said as she sat on the bed and rubbed his back
She wanted to say that without Emmet they were stronger and that he was just a friend... but he was right. Now that Emmet was no longer here it was boring. He somehow managed to wedge himself into their house with his charm, rough outside, and nice inside. Sure he didn't like to open up but when he was, he's nice to hang around.
"It is my fault," Lincoln said "It's my fault that I convinced him to go to the Burpi'n Burger."
"Linc, if I learned one thing from him is that if you didn't do that," Lori stated, "He would go out and find the robber himself."
Lincoln laughed a bit and hugged Lori.
"Thanks, Lori," Lincoln said
"No problem little bro," Lori said
She got off the bed and walked out of the room and quietly closed the door. She turned to her room. Step by step, she made it to her old room she shared with Leni. She placed her hand on the handle and opened the door. He felt along the wall and flipped on the light switch after she found it. But what she wasn't expecting was Luan and Leni sitting on her bed twiddling thumbs.
"Leni? Luan?" Lori said, "What's wrong?"
"Lori… we… we need to tell y-you something i-important." Leni started
The Hospital (next day)
I woke up to the sound of the clock ticking and I shot up off of the bed. I looked up at it and I saw it was 9:44 am. I looked at the door and saw the door creaked open. In stepped Lori, Leni, Luan, and some goth-looking girl.
"Morning buddy," Lori said "How are you feeling today?"
"I feel great," I said as I looked at the blonde woman I met only 1 day ago "How are you?"
"I feel good" She replied
Suddenly I felt a mass tackle me and hug me. I look down to my side and saw the goth girl hugging me with soft sobbing.
"Uhh, can I help you?" I asked the black-haired girl
Suddenly I saw Lori open the door and step out while saying "I'll leave you guys for a bit."
"O-oh ok," I replied back
The door shut and they all looked at me.
"Is there something you need?" I asked them all
"I-I need to ask you something," Luan asked "What do you think love is?"
"Well… I think love is just a chemical reaction that happens in your head when you find a being attractive so you are moved to be with them." I replied, "Why?"
Luan sighed and walked up to me and she grabbed me by my shoulders.
"Then I'll show you what I'm attracted to," She said
She then kissed me deeply and I was taken back at first but I didn't stop her but I didn't deepen the kiss. She soon pulled away and looked at me.
"Well that's one way to tell me you love me," I replied
"Y-yeah," Luan blushed "But you need to remember."
"Remember what?" I replied
I soon felt a tap on my shoulder and turned to my left and saw Leni kneeling next to me. She looked pretty but soon she surprised me with another kiss on the lips. I still didn't pull away but I didn't deepen it and she let the kiss leave my lips.
"Please Mendy," She said "Remember."
"Remember what?!" I replied shocked
"He needs some more," Luan said "Maggie we need the plan B."
Maggie walked in front of me and she put her hand in her pocket and she pulled out a piece of paper. She unraveled it to me and I saw a drawn picture of me and her with my limbs blown off. I looked at the picture and starred at it. It was a great picture… but why show me. I looked up at the girl and then back at the picture. Seconds turned to minutes as I felt the tingle in the back of my brain come back. Suddenly Leni pulled out another piece of paper and unraveled it. It was a letter… a love letter to me. The tingle got stronger but still, nothing flickered in my mind. It looked familiar but I couldn't put my finger on it. Suddenly Lori came back in with a Springfield 03 rifle covered in glitter. The tingle got even stronger and my body seemingly reached out to the glittering weapon and grasped my fingers around it. I flipped it to where the bolt was facing up and I cocked it as a foam bullet flew out of the chamber. The tingle was now starting to hurt and I placed the rifle to the side of the bed.
"Look," I said, "I don't know why your here but you guys need to leave if you're just going to do this."
I looked at all 3 of them and they all started to choke up and tears formed in their eyes. They stood there at a stalemate for 20 seconds before Maggie then Leni ran out of the room leaving a trail of salty water. Luan stood there and cried silently for no apparent reason. She murmured something under her breath and turned to leave. All that I could hear was "Kill" and I was put at unease. I looked back down at my sheets and there lie the love letter and the drawn picture. I picked both of them up and looked at the clock on the wall and the sound of the hands moving kept my ringing at bay. I sighed and slouched and relaxed my shoulders. I looked over and at the rifle covered in glitter. I reached it over and picked it up. The fumes of the glue seeped through my nostrils. The ticking got louder and louder as I felt like I was getting light-headed. I lay down on the bed as I let the rifle fall to the ground as the 2 papers followed. I closed my eyes and felt my heart slow down and my breaths get shorter.

"Get the fuck up son," A voice called up
The voice sounded so familiar I shot up looked around the room. The hospital room was gone and was replaced with a plain of white. There was nothing but one being that was fuzzy from the distance. I looked at it as it approached and my vision corrected itself. Soon the man came into view. He had black hair with traces of a beard that was shaved off. He dawned US Army uniform with the cover on his head. He stood there with a Sergeant rank on his collar of his combat uniform and with the name tag 'Joshua Marricks'.
