《Peyton》It's been 2 weeks since the puppy had the casts on her lags and I'm now checking her legs I was in the kitchen with the puppy I was about to do an x-ray on her legs when I realized that I forgot my veterinarian medical bag in the living room so I put the puppy back in the cage and go to the living room to grab my veterinarian medical bag once I have it I walk back to the kitchen and open the bag and get the portable x-ray machine out and then I get the puppy out of the cage I was about to x-ray her legs when she started squirming around a lot and I realized I couldn't do this on my own so I called the girls to help me, Josephine and Julie can you come help daddy for a minute please when I hear running of feet then they appear beside me
《Josephine and Julie》Yes daddy what do you need?
《Peyton》I need one of you to hold the puppy while I do an x-ray on the puppy so who wants to do it?
《Josephine》I'll do it my daddy nods and I walk to one of the chairs and climb up and sit on my knees and my daddy tells me to put my hand on the puppy's back then I hear Julie say
《Julie》What can I do daddy?
《Peyton》Do you want to help daddy give her an x-ray? She nods and climbs up on the other chair beside me and I start the x-ray machine alright Julie look at the screen, can you see the puppy's bones? She nods OK does it look like the puppy's bones are all healed up?
《Julie》They look good to me daddy
《Peyton》They do huh? She nods well let daddy check I look at the screen to see if the puppy's legs are healed up and they are healed up, but then again it has been 2 weeks since she was brought into the Vet Clinic so I get the things out that I need to take off the casts once I get the cast off the puppy I pick her up and the girls and I walk over to the living room and I put the puppy on the couch and move the coffee table once I move the coffee table I pick the puppy up off the couch and the girls and I sit on the floor with the puppy and the girls say
《Josephine and Julie》Daddy what are you going to do with the puppy?
《Peyton》We are going to see if she can walk, they nod and I put the puppy on the floor and clap my hands and call her when I call her she gets up and takes her first step I smile that's a girl can you do it again? Come on come here she walks again then she lays down on the floor as to say I'm done walking right now so I pick her up and put her back in the doggie bed and pet her head there you go you did good today then I hear the girls say
《Josephine and Julie》Yay she did it daddy, hey daddy?
《Peyton》Yeah babies?
《Josephine and Julie》Do we have to give the puppy back to whoever owns the puppy?
《Peyton》No girls we are not the person that had the puppy hurt her really bad and that person does not deserve a puppy, hey why don't I call Rowan and see if her and Jasmine want to go to the park with us?
《Josephine and Julie》Yeah, but what about the puppy?
《Peyton》The puppy can't walk that much yet
《Josephine and Julie》But we don't want to leave the puppy for that long can we take her with us in her puppy cage?
《Peyton》Sure, why don't you 2 go play while I call Rowan OK? They nod and run off to the playroom to play and I call Rowan, I just got off the phone with Rowan and she said that she'd like to go to the park with myself, Josephine and Julie, Josephine and Julie come on let's get your jackets and shoes on they run out of the playroom and get their shoes and jackets on and I put the puppy in her cage once I got the puppy in her cage we walk out the door and get in the car and head to the park

《Leyton》Hey everyone my name is Leyton Henry and I'm a single father of a beautiful four year old her name is Sapphire Hannah Henry she is my everything she didn't have the best upbringing your probably wondering what I mean by her not having the best upbringing well I am going to tell you, I adopted her 2 months ago she was in this orphanage that I was volunteering at, at the time she was the only little girl that would sit in a corner and not associate with anyone so I walked up to her and I said sweetheart what are you doing sitting in the corner why don't you come play with the other kids she didn't say anything to me so I tried to touch her arm but she flinched away but I still didn't know what was going on so I asked my boss why that little girl over there is sitting in the corner by herself and my boss pulled me into one of the rooms to talk to me about her and what she told me about her was the most heartbreaking thing that I have ever heard, she said you see her name is sapphire she's four years old her biological parents were not that good to her they would beat her they would throw her into walls they would burn her arms she's got a burn mark the size of a silver coin on her shoulder and she also said to me all that little girl needs is love and as for why she's sitting in the corner doing nothing is because when the authorities went into her old home they found her sitting in the corner alone nobody would even associate with her so the authorities walked over to Sapphire and told her that they are nice people and they are going to take her and give her a new home all she needs is a new home, so right then and there after she told me the story of sapphire that is when I made the decision to adopt her when I went home that day I get in contact with my lawyer to have him draw up adoption papers for me and when the adoption was approved I was so happy I ran into the orphanage and I saw Sapphire sitting in the corner again so I walked up to her and she looked at me and smiled at me and she said hi do you want to be my friend, so I sat down with her and said I'd love to be your friend but I think I have something better then just being friends she looked at me as if say tell her more so I pulled out the approved adoption papers and showed her and I asked her can you read what that says she looked at me and shook her head no so I read them and told her that they said that I am and forever will always be her daddy, so yeah that's all about the day I adopted Sapphire and so I basically saved her life, I get up and walk to the playroom and see her sitting there playing with her toys hey Sapphire honey, when she looks at me she smiles at me and said

《Leyton》I was wondering if you wanted to go to the park today? She didn't say anything all she did was put her toys away and then came running up to me and then she said
《Sapphire》I love the park let's go to the park I run out of the playroom and get my shoes on and my jacket come on daddy let's go the park is calling my name I hear him laugh and walk to the door to put on his own jacket and shoes once he has them on I grab his hand together we walk out the door to the car and my daddy helped me get in the car he buckled me up in the car then he gets in his seat and we drive to the park once we get to the park we get out of the car and walk around the park for a bit then I see 3 little girls over in the sandbox so I look at my daddy and say, daddy can we go over to the sandbox there are some kids I want to play with them he nods and we walk over to the sandbox and I say to the 3 girls hi my name is Sapphire can I please play with you?
《Jasmine》Hi Sapphire yes you can and these are my friends Josephine and Julie and my name is Jasmine
《Sapphire》Thank you I sit down with them hi Jasmine hi Josephine hi Julie, Jasmine gives me one of her extra shovels and pails and I start making a sand Castle
《Leyton》While Sapphire is playing with the 3 little girls in the sandbox I sit on the ground outside the sandbox with their parents and I introduce myself hi my name's Leyton Henry and you two have beautiful daughters
《Peyton》I was looking at the girls in the sandbox thank you then I look up at him and I was taken aback he looks like me then I start thinking (is he my twin brother no he can't be I only have 2 brothers and if I had a twin my parents would have told me at least I hope they would) I must have been so into my thoughts because I didn't hear Rowan calling my name huh what sorry what were you saying?
《Rowan》Oh I was asking if your OK?
《Peyton》What yeah yeah I'm OK can you watch Josephine and Julie for me I have to call my mother, she nods and I walk away and call my mother

《Elizabeth and Robert》Hello Peyton what can we do for you?
《Peyton》When the hell were you going to tell me I was a twin?
《Elizabeth and Robert》You had a twin but he died shortly after you both were born we gave him a name his name is Leyton Henry Meyer, why do you ask?
《Peyton》Because there is this guy at the park and his daughter is playing with my daughters and Rowan's daughter and he says his name is Leyton Henry and he looks like me

《Peyton》When I get off the phone with my parents I walk back to the kids, Rowan and Leyton and Rowan says to me
《Rowan》Why did you have to talk to your parents?
《Peyton》Oh it's nothing just checking up on them I look at Leyton so Leyton what do you do for a living?
《Leyton》Oh me I use to volunteer at an orphanage and now I work at the police station as a social worker
《Peyton》That's great where is Sapphire's mother?
《Leyton》Oh um she don't have one I adopted her 2 months ago and if your wondering yes she knows she's adopted

《Peyton》Your welcome, I look at Rowan hey do you think that you can watch my daughters while I go talk to my parents? She nods so I get up and excuse myself and pick up the puppy cage with a sleeping puppy inside I was about to walk away when I heard Josephine and Julie say
《Josephine and Julie》Daddy where are you going?
《Peyton》Oh I just need to go talk to nana and papa for a minute but you stay here with Rowan and Jasmine and your new friend Sapphire OK? They nod and I kiss their heads and I kiss Rowan on the lips and then head to my car with the sleeping puppy in her cage once I get the puppy in the car then I get in the car and head to my parents place
