"Your father, then perhaps you should start with him."

Sesshomaru moved his eyes away, and she read his body, "Something tells me you know something already."

He cut his eyes back to her. "I am aware of my fathers dealing with the jewel and the Miko."

"Hmm, and it could not be of help? Is that why you are here?"

"Tell me of the rumors, old woman."

"I know what you know, Lady Kagome can only come out at night, she is stuck to whoever holds the jewel, she will live forever battling the jewel darkness, she stuck just as Midoriko was, but lucky for Kagome, she is in your hands, you seek not the power of the jewel, unlike others."

"Something is missing," Sesshomaru stated, thinking over what he told her,

"And that would be?"

"Midoriko did not come out of the jewel."

"That is because only her soul was in it, Kagome's whole being is in it, I know how she got in, I know not how she gets out."

In that lies the problem.

"Be thankful she does not have to fight, Midoriko was always fighting the jewel because it was always in the wrong hands, even in my sister's hands, you young Lord are a blessing."

Him a blessing? He was a demon, "I am a demon, nothing about me is blessed" He rose, "I will take my leave."

"Are you going to seek more answers?"

"Bokusenō, I shall seek, he advises."

Kaede bowed her head. "I hope you will consider telling me your findings or at least write to them, as your father did."

Sesshomaru stopped at the door, he never did tell her that his father had written something, but he would deal with that later; he had to get going, his interest peaked.

Kaede watched him go; she knew the next part, but he needs to learn; he was doing a good deed, his father would have been proud. Sesshomaru would go to Bokuseno first, then to the slayer village; he had told her he would tell her sister slayer. Once again, he took flight, something he did not often do, because he did have all the time in the world. Kagome never asked anything of him, not that she had a right to, but now, they were all safe, Rin was safe, all in all, Sesshomaru had respect for her at this point in time.

It was clear by the time he got there that Bokuseno did not know. Sesshomaru was coming, times before, he did and would be waiting.

"Wake up," Sesshomaru demanded.

The tree shook wake and blinked a few times, and then raised one eyebrow, much like Sesshomaru did.

"Young Lord, why are you here?" The tree's low yet loud voice boomed.

"I am here about my father; you will tell me what you know," He demanded,

"In regards to what Lord Sesshomaru?"

"Midiorko,"

The tree blinked a few times, "You speak of the woman who created the jewel you now wear around your neck?"

"Indeed,"

"She was a powerful one, that one, her and your father fought many battles together, most people found it odd, but never spoke of it, they were feared, why do you ask?"

"I found letters." Was all he said,

"Hmm, I see, well, the demon who she killed and died with was one a man who fell in love with her; let me start by telling you that."

He did not know that, and it sounded an awful lot like what happens to Kikyo and Naraku.

"He loved her, but she loved another, a demon, the very thing her whole being stood against," That reminded him instantly of Inuyasha and Kikyo.

"She loved my father," Sesshomaru stated more than asked,

"She did."
