Lacy stumbled back at the sight of the creatures and she gasped in shock. She just realized that she almost tried to fight some sort of Super- robot-human from an alternate future. The thought of this made her legs turn into jello. She fell to the ground as she dropped the beam rifle and started to eyeball the aliens and the Spartan with scared vision.

"Y-y-you weren't lying," She said "You are from a different universe."

"Yes, exactly," The Spartan said, "Which is why we need to go home."

Lacy stood up and the dumb-struck face started to fade as she looked at them. Suddenly a smile grew across her face and she rushed down the hill. She had just been the first girl to find alien life, non-hostile at that. She knew her family would freak out at this revelation. But she didn't care. She grabbed the alien guns as she went a full-on sprint to show her family the amazing laser, plasma, or whatever it was to her family. The Spartan locked eyes with the grunt and they stared at each other.

"We go get guns?" Yap Yap asked

"Shut up you cannon fodder," 747 said as he looked back down the hill and began his way down there.

The leaves rustled beneath their feet as they made their way down the hill and they soon. The rumble of the hunter's steps shook the ground as they continued to run to the young girl. He managed to see her head as he walked at a steady pace down the hill. His legs still hurting from his realignment. They reached the bottom where they were met with Lacy preaching to the family.

"MOM, DAD! He wasn't lying, he's not from here." Lacy concluded

"What the heck do you mean Lacy," Lynn said as she rubbed her temples "This person is clearly a deranged man that needs to be sent to a mental insanity ward."

Lori was about to intervene but then there was a rumbling coming from the woods. Lacy looked back and smiled at what was about to come out of the forest.

"Do you hear that?" Lana said as she looked at a poodle on the ground that began to shake

"Y-yeah," Luan said as she put on a look of fear.

"Shhhh," Lacy said as she turned to the woods.

They all trained eyes on the forest and they looked on confused and paralyzed eyes.

"I don't have a good feeling about this," Lemy said

"You always have a bad feeling about everything," Lyra said back to the young boy

They kept looking at the opening in the woods and the thumping became louder. What stepped out was only the Spartan that left the woodland treeline. Lacy's face turned to one of disappointment.

"What?" Lincoln said in an anticlimatic tone

The Spartan looked to his left and saw that the grunt and the rest of the defective covenant. They hid behind some trees and had looks of discontent. The Spartan looked at them and the grunt returned the gaze.

"It's ok," The Spartan said "You can come out. I won't kill you… for now."

"You speak truth?" Grunt said, "They no kill us?"

"Yeah it's ok," The Spartan said

"O-ok" The grunt said as he looked back at the rest of the aliens

He repeated what the Spartan said in Sanghili the rest of the covenant defectives. The Jackle looked at him and grew weary and the Hunter rubbed his neck. The drone twitched its wings as they all traded looks. They looked at the Spartan as he gave a glare from under the visor. The Grunt took a shaky step out of the tree line. He took a deep breath as the methane filled his lungs from his tank.

"Here we go," He said as he walked into plain sight.

The family turned to see the non-covenant and they all screamed.

"Lacy! What the fuck is that?!" Lyra screamed

"Get away from me!" Lemy yelled as he backed up

"Hey, it's ok," Lacy stated "They're friendly."

The Unggoy looked at them and walked toward the family as the covenant followed. The Jackle, Hunter, and Drone walked out and the family's eyes grew wider as they realized there were creatures that were not known to them. The Unggoy was going to extend its hand until a stick whacked him in the head. The grunt screamed out in pain as Luna held a stick in the bat swingers position.

"OWW!" The grunt screamed in agony "N-no NO HIT ME, NO DO ANYTHING WRONG!"

Lacy was about to go rush to help it as she dropped the guns. Lynn grabbed her daughters hand and yanked her back. As Luna raised the stick again. Lisa looked at the alien life and she had look of sock and aww. She could do so many experiments and learn so much from the weaponry of these aliens.

"Lacy don't fucking touch it!" Lynn yelled at them

"Mom chill out," Lacy said

"No, Lacy!" Lincoln shouted "This day has gone from bad to weird to ungodly weird. I don't care if you meet a sea monster, a dragon, a zombie, or a pirate. I am your father and YOU WILL COME HERE NOW!"

An uneasy silence filled the whole parking lot as the grunt, jackal, drone, and hunter stepped back. They looked at Lacy as tears began to well up in their eyes and then the sound of moping filled the empty space in their ears. Lacy dropped the alien weaponry and ran to Vanzilla. The unggoy looked at the family as Lacy opened the door and slammed it behind her. He reached out to the beam rifle and the plasma pistol and snatched them from the floor as he ran back to the aliens.

Lincoln looked back at the ex-covenant put out his finger.

"You stay over there you freak!" Lincoln looked at the aliens and the Spartan "Everyone get inside the van, we have to leave before someone or something kills us."

The entire family ran to the van as Lori ran to get her daughter and her mom from inside the pizza plex. Lincoln got into the drivers seat as he slammed on the accelerator and sped away. All the ex-covenant looked at the Spartan and the Spartan returned the look. He did not expect them to act like that. The grunt walked back into the forest and his crew followed.

"Where are you going?" The Spartan asked

"Back to ship," the grunt said "Not safe here for us. We hide…"

The Spartan looked back at the empty parking lot as the sound of a helicopter we heard in the distance. Soon the engine got louder as the helicopter got closer. A news helicopter came into view.

"Not safe for you too," The grunt said "Can come if you want… or not."

The Spartan looked at the grunt. Never had he ever thought of talking with the covenant less stay with them but he didn't have a choice. He turned his body towards the grunt as he grabbed the dropped Plasma rifle on the ground and walked to the crashed phantom.

Inside the PIZZA-Plex

The figure in the window held his phone up as he kept recording. He watched as the robot and the weird creatures go back into the forest. Once they were out of view he stopped recording as he kept breathing heavily. It was a oneway window and for what he knew, none of them had seen him. He looked at his phone and rewatched the video as he was seeing if he was not crazy. He was currently in the kitchen and he was supposed to be cleaning the place for closing but he held his phone in his hands intensely.

"People have to see this." He said as he pulled up youtube

He started to upload the video to the platform as a smile grew on his face.

Hey guys, I'm sorry for not uploading anything. I was just caught up with many things. I had to get my driver's permit, finals, and pilot lessons. Plus I thought no one wanted to read my stories anymore but I looked at the statistics after an 8-month interval and saw that people still read them. That made me have the determination to finish this. But I was debating whether I should cut it off and pass it off because this is time-consuming.
