Kim's POV

"Stop complaining you big baby, or next time you're not getting any food." I say rolling my eyes at Jay as we reach the top of the stairs. "I really hope you know how mean you are." He mumbles as we sit the food down on Adams desk, I just shrug as I give Hailey her Chinese food. I help Jay pass out the rest of the food, before I sit down on Haileys desk. "Where are our guests?" Jay asks sitting down at his desk. "Two of them are talking to Voight in his office and the other five are in there, waiting for you two to come back, which ones your cousin?" Hailey asks and I chuckle softly. "The blonde one." I say and she nods. Soon all of them are back out here and Jay and I have been introduced. "Kim, I want you to take Prentiss to look over the crime scenes again." Voight says and I stand up from my spot on Hailey's desk, going over to my own desk to grab my keys. The walk to my car is a silent one, neither of us having anything to say. "I've seen a lot of things as a Chicago Police Officer, but this case, it's a bad one." I say after we start driving. "I saw the pictures, I'm just hoping to not have to see it in real life." She says and I nod in agreement. "I have faith that we'll find her. Hailey and Jay should be following up on a lead right now." I say and I look over at her briefly when I feel her eyes on me. "What? Is there something on my face?" I ask reaching up to touch my face which makes her laugh. "No you don't have anything on your face, I was just getting a..feel for you I guess. Don't tell JJ I'm saying this bc she would actually kill me, but you really don't seem like the homophobic type, especially with how close you are with Hailey." She says and I look over at her again when we stop at a stoplight. "That's because I'm not homophobic, the exact opposite actually. My parents are uber religious and growing up I had to go to church every Sunday and Wednesday and yada yada and I guess she's made some very untrue assumptions about me, but you can't tell her because I really wanna see her face when she finds out about Hailey and I." I say, making her laugh again. "I have a feeling we're gonna get along just fine." She says and I chuckle. "We might, but I don't think Voight and Hotchner will, and fair warning Hailey is ready to punch anyone who's rude to me." I say, coming to a stop at the first crime scene. "This should be a fun case, and usually I'd be ready to punch anyone who hurts JJ, but if she says something that results in her getting punched.." Emily says, a hint of playfulness in her tone. I shake my head softly as we get out, maybe this won't be so bad.
