A/N- I forgot to mention that the last chapter of "Halloween in Paris" was based on Jeepers Creepers, which was Tony's story...Now this one is based on the movie The Funhouse(1981 film...It's about 4 teens spending the night on a dark ride)...Enjoy the story y'all
This Halloween was much different than the last one. Cerise and her friends went to a Halloween party instead of trick or treating and they got twice the amount of candy than they did previously. Now the 5 kids were settling down at Gemini's house eating their candy
"What a night y'all…" Gemini sighed
"Can't we tell a scary story…" Tony asked. The other kids agreed.
I have a good story to tell Cerise typed on her translator
"Yeah, Cerise can tell a good story…" Rafael agreed.
"You're only saying that because you told your story back in Mr. Monet's class for that project and it sucked," Francois argued.
"That's because I had it all mixed up, I'm not good with the beginning middle, and end stuff."
"Please can Cerise just tell her story…" Tony asked, miffed at the argument
"Okay, Cece...the stage is all yours…." Gemini got her flashlight and pointed it to her red-headed friend and so did the others
Cerise typed on her translator. It took her a long time to do so but she managed to get the words out
My story is called the Lock in...It was based on that even we went to but a scarier version. Hold onto your candy cause your about to get scared.
THE LOCK-IN
One day Cerise was cleaning up the restaurant and prepping for dinner service when her friends came.
"Hey, Cece…" Gemini greeted Cerise waved back as she continued working.
"Did you know that our school is going to have a lock-in?" Tony asked.
Cerise shook her head and stopped working, taking a look at the flyer the blonde boy has in his hands
"What's a lock-in…" Alfredo asked, approaching the kids.
"Apparently We get to spend the night at the school...I think it's like a challenge of who can survive the night at the school…"
"Do not do it...I heard a few boys got killed the last time they did it…" Colette called. She was currently taking care of the twins.
"Maybe we need to take some precautions," Rafael said.
"So Cerise Are you in?" Francois asked.
Cerise nodded her head and the kids looked at each other, smiling.
During the rest of the day, they planned on staying with each other as a group in the lock-in and they helped serve the customers.
When the day arrived, Alfredo dropped off Cerise at the school and she met her friends and they went in together
As soon as they stepped in, they knew they made a huge mistake. Most of the kids there were slightly older than them and they weren't at all interested in the event. They tried to leave but the doors were locked already so the kids were stuck there.
"Oh great…" Francois rolled his eyes.
"Come on y'all we can make the most of it...What could happen?" Gemini carried her stuff to the edge of the auditorium with Cerise following after her. The boys looked at each other and shrugged going after the girls
"Alright guys, Eyes up here…" The teacher announced, catching all of the kids' attention. "Get into groups of five and that's your group you're going to stay the entire time."
Cerise, Gemini, Tony, Rafael, and Francois got together as a group and the other kids got with their groups.
"For the next 2 hours, we're going to do a bunch of fun games so we're going to meet up front.
After that, the activities began. The night started with a few ice breakers. The first one was a simple name game.
"My name would be Beautiful Bella…" One girl said. They had to pick an adjective that starts with their first name
"I got that beat, mine would be Glamorous Gemini…" Gemini boasted
Cerise and Tony glanced at each other rolling their eyes.
As the night went on, it was time for them to turn in. Gemini had the idea of spending the night in the classroom above the cafeteria. Francois and Rafael snuck some of the snacks and met the girls.
So what do we do now… Cerise typed on her translator.
"Just try and rest...Hopefully, we won't be disturbed-" then they heard laughing.
They spotted a vent below them and they peeked and saw a couple there in the cafeteria.
"Stop it…" then they kissed. The five kids rolled their eyes and were about to turn in until they heard a bang
"What was that…" the girl asked
"What was what…" the boy replied.
"Didn't you hear-" then the couple ran as soon as a teacher and a T.A came in.
"Remember our deal…" the T.A nodded. Then the two began to make love. The kids went to sleep.
Not even around thirty minutes in, Cerise woke up to flashing lights.
"Cece look…" Gemini pointed. She raced to the vent along with Tony and Rafael and the kids saw the teacher lying motionless on the ground and the T.A standing near the body. The kids silently gasped
"Oh, man…." Rafael whispered. Tony and Cerise took each other's hands.
"What do we do…" Francois whispered.
"We should hide in case that dude tries to find us." Gemini tried to turn off the lights but they wouldn't turn it off.
No, let's get out of here… Cerise typed in her translator
"We can't leave...We're locked in here remember…" Francois rolled his eyes
"Maybe we can try to find a phone…" Rafael suggested.
The five kids walked around trying to find a phone around the school. They all peered and found that the students were confused about what was happening with the lights. Then suddenly the door opened, scaring the kids
"Hey do you guys know where Ms. Moverton is?" a boy asked.
"No...but I think we saw a teacher with that T.A." Tony replied.
"That's her...She went with that freako-" then they heard cranking in the hallways and they heard a thump. They immediately ran into the room. They peeked to see anything but there wasn't anything there.
"That was a close one" then something pops up at them, making them all jump.
"Let me in please please let me in…" a girl cried.
"Hey, that's Eloise... Let her in…" Francois said
"And let that freako in too, nuh-uh…" the boy crossed his arms.
Then Cerise opened the door slightly and pulled her in.
"Are you alright, what did you see…" Gemini asked
"He's right behind me…" Eloise said. Then they heard the door bang…
They luckily locked the door as soon as Cerise pulled Eloise in. they all backed up to a corner to unveil an escape hatch. Then the T.A burst in from the top
The kids screamed and they all tried to escape in the hatch but it was too small for all of them to go in
We should go in a single filed line… Cerise typed in her translator.
"And we should hurry up…" Gemini added. They all went inside the hatch and crawled as fast as they could. Before Eloise could catch up with them She screamed as she was being dragged away
"Ellie…" another girl shouted.
"We have to go…" Tony told the girl
"No, I'm not leaving without my friend
"What about the other kids...We should warn them…" Rafael said.
Cerise began to back out of the hatch and began to run
"Cerise what are you doing…."
Cerise didn't answer and she saw the guy heading to another room where they heard screams as the guy scratched at the window. Cerise grabbed a mop and ran. She stopped and saw the water fountain and began to bang at it. The assistant stopped scratching and looked at the corner and began to tread slowly to where Cerise is.
"Cece's in trouble…" Gemini said. She looked and saw a broom
As the man approached where the red-headed girl was, she began to swing at him, managing to get a few hits on him
"Asta a vista punk…." Gemini yelled as she helped her friend beat up the freak and they heard moans.
"Hey hey hey what are you girls doing?" a teacher ran in.
"We saw this punk kill one of the teachers and now he payin' the price…" Gemini told the teacher.
"That's Harry…" Another teacher walked in.
"WHAT?!" then cerise pulled the hoodie down to reveal a pale skinned boy, a little dizzy from the beating
"He was used to scare you guys...for a little horror show…" Gemini and Cerise looked at each other in utter bewilderment.
"Now We should all get back to sleep, that teacher that went with her is fine…"
"Where is she…" Tony asked walking to the girls as they helped up the teen.
"She's fine, she's sitting in the teacher's lounge getting her asthma out of the way...Harry is her son...
The rest of the night was full of confusion. The next morning, the parents came to pick up the children and Alfredo saw how tired Cerise and her friends were.
"Hey, how...was last night-"
"Don't wanna talk about it…" Francois spoke. "All in favor of sleeping in Cerise's house raise your hand" all of the kids in the group raise their hands. All Alfredo can do was sigh softly
The End…. Cerise typed on her translator
"Not too bad...I thought my last story about the killer sharks was better…" Francois said, eating his chocolate
"It was good guys…" Tony said wrapping his arms around Cerise who smiled in response.
The kids then chowed down on the rest of their candy as Halloween came to an end
