Rachel's College Boyfriend?

Summary
What if Rachel never got back together with Finn before Senior year and she met a guy name Brody Weston over the summer and they instantly hit off making it offical after she lost Nationals. She finds out that he goes to college at NYADA majoring in Musical theater How will their relationship work when her ex boyfriend Finn Hudson tries to win her back? And what happens when the Glee club members find out that she has a new boyfriend? Will they believe her or not?

I will be adding a few characters in this story aswell so Rachel will be making new friends but could make friends with the Glee club members.
In this chapter you'll meet a friend of Rachel's from her dance class.

At The Lima Bean Cafe.
Rachel told Kurt that she'll text him when she needs for him to pick her up. He was going to Blaine's house for a little bit. She hugged him then got out of the car, holding her coat close to her.
She took a deep breath as she walked in and glanced around. She saw somebody waving her over. She knew it was Finn and walked over to him, sitting down and takes her coat off.
"Hi Rachel. I'm glad you could meet up with me. Here is your vegan Vanilla almond milk Latte with just a hint of cinnamon in it." She stared at him then stared at her drink.
She's never had a vegan vanilla latte.
"I don't normally get this Finn." He sighs taking a sip of his own drink then puts it down to speak.
"I know you always get your Chai tea latte but I got something different for you. I made sure it was vegan." She starts to say something when he cuts her off.
"Rachel it's good to try something new for once. Don't you think?" Rachel just stared at him. He sighs.
"Give it a chance. Trust me I think your going to love it Rach." She ignored the nickname he use to give her when they were together and picks up the cup and slowly takes a sip of the drink that Finn ordered for her.
"It was actually pretty good." Rachel thought. She might actually ordered this again some time.
"Thanks it's actually pretty good. That was sweet of you Finn." He nods really glad she likes it. She looked really pretty today. Well she always looked pretty but today she just looked really different in a good way. She looked beautiful. It was like she was glowing. Rachel had her hair a different style which looked good on her and she had on clothes that he's never seen before. Rachel's changed since their breakup. She was Senior Class President, everybody was trying to be her friend, she actually had best friends and they were real friends. The only thing missing was him by her side, holding her like Brody holds her and supporting her. It wasn't fair.
"So what did you call me here for Finn? Are you mad at me for the engagement news?" She asked him, taking another sip of her drink.
"Engagement news? Your engaged to that college boyfriend of yours?" She raised an eyebrow at her ex boyfriend.
"I thought thats why you called me here. You really didn't know about it? Vanna posted a picture of Brody and I smiling as I held up my left hand."
He shook his head.
"I'm not friends with your new boyfriend's sister Rachel. I haven't been on facebook for awhile because it hurts seeing pictures of you and your college boyfriend. So I just stopped going on it for awhile. Was her message true or was she joking?" She frowns and takes another sip of her drink.
"No joke. Brody asked me to marry him on New Years Eve." Finn frowns hating this. Rach was engaged to Brody of all people? Was the world trying to hurt him?
"What? are you kidding me right now Rachel? You two hardly know each other and you agreed to marry a guy that's older then you?" She puts her cup down and holds up her left hand biting her bottom lip, waiting for his reaction.
Finn started to get up when Rachel grabbed his hand pulling him back down to his seat.
"Your making a huge mistake getting engaged to a guy that's going to hurt you badly in the end." She rolled her eyes.
"How do you know Finn? you know nothing about Brody. He's nothing like Jesse St. James or you or Noah. My dads love him, his family loves me. If you actually gave him a chance then you would see that this is the happiest I've ever been in a relationship."
"What's wrong with me?" He says angrily getting out of his chair. Rachel reached out grabbing ahold of his wrist.
"You asked me to be here. You can't walk away all the time things don't your way." He glared at her wanting her to let go.
"Finn walking away from this isn't going to change the fact that I'm getting married to somebody else, that I'm in a relationship with somebody else that's not you."
He shook his head pulling his hand away but he doesn't leave.
"How could you hurt me this way? I asked you to marry me Rachel. I asked you first before you college boy toy asked you. Did I even matter to you?" Rachel wanted to laugh at his childlike behavior. He sounded liked a 5 year old boy whining about not getting what he wanted.
"Really Finn? your going to act like and say that you asked me first? I couldn't say yes to you because it would have been wrong. I would have been cheating on my boyfriend who I love deeply and I'm not up for doing that again." He scuffed.
"I'm not looking for my relationship to end. I know I cheated on you with Noah but I'm not making that same mistake again." He glared at her.
"It wouldn't be the first time you cheated on a boyfriend." She stayed quiet not believing him. Finn was also a cheater but he was too blind to see it.
"Your such a hypocrite thinking your the victim here." Rachel spats so done with his bullshit. He's done alot worse.
"Brody wouldn't even be in the picture if you just stay faithful to me Rachel. Why couldn't you just talk to me first before going off to kiss Puck?" She scuffed.
"If I'd just stayed faithful to you? You so full of yourself Finn Hudson. Now sit your ass down or else I'm leaving." He sighs sitting back down.
"You really can't blame all this on me when you are the one that flirted with Santana after we got into a fight. Is it okay for you to flirt with girls?"
"That's not the point Rachel. You kissed my best friend behind my back. " He pointed out.
"Okay Finn you keep repeating the samething over and over again until you realize that it's not all on me. Your a hypocrite." He gave her a confused look.
"That's right you don't know big words. Let me explain it so you'll understand. You were dating Quinn and kissed me then ran away. You asked me on date just to get me back into Glee club so you could some music scholarship. Then you kissed me again knowing that you and Quinn were still together and she was expecting a baby you thought was yours. Are you lost?" She asked seeing the look on his face. He shook his head about speak but she kept on talking.
"Great I'm glad your listening to me for once. Now where was I? Oh I remeber. You want to talk about cheating? You made Quinn cheat on Sam with you last year. You lost a friendship with Sam for a little bit by the way. You really think your the one that got played? Get real Finn. Your a cheater." His eyes widen.
"You know I'm right. I might have kissed Noah but you had your Karma when you ended up getting mono. You made Sam feel stupid and I finally realized that you were never over Quinn." He gumbles taking another sip of his drink. Rachel was right and that made him mad. Not at her, at himself.
"Sure Quinn cheated on me but what you did was alot worse. I was in love with you." Rachel rolls her eyes.
"Finn you have no idea why I did what I did with Noah. You weren't treating me like a good boyfriend should treat his girlfriend so I kissed him."
"And that makes it right?"
"No but atleast I told you the truth unlike Quinn. She had you believing that you were the father of Beth when the truth was Noah was." He didn't want talk about this anymore.
"You lied to me about sleeping with Santana. I don't care if we weren't together at the time. I told you the truth about not sleeping with Jesse because it didn't feel right. You and what did you tell me?" She stared into his eyes. He stayed quiet.
"You just said nothing. You gave me a smile and said nothing. I had to hear about your first time from Santana of all people." He groans.
"What do you want me to say Rachel? Yes I lied but I didn't want you breaking up with me. I was trying to protect your heart."
"Are you applying that I'm this weak person? I'm the strongest person that has put up with the cruel remarks, the slushies being thrown in my face everyday and every year, people like you and the other glee club members that aren't friends bullying me and so much more. I could have handled it because like you said before, we weren't together at the time." She yelled so done with him. This just wasn't working.
She texted Kurt telling him that she was ready to go. He texts her back saying that he'll be right there.
"I'm sorry." She scuffed.
"No your not. You just think you say whatever you want, give me a smile and I'm going to believe every word you say. Not this time. I said what I had to say and I'm done."
"What do you mean your done? we haven't even talked about our friendship." He grabbed ahold of her hand.
"Didn't I make you happy?" Of course he made her feel happy but it wasn't always that way. Brody makes her on top of the world all the time.
"Finn you have always been my first love. Nobody understand what our relationship was like outside of McKinley High walls. We had some great times but I felt like you still thought I was this moon eyed girl that freaked you out at your first Glee rehearsal. You never stood up for me when others bullied me. You joined in out it and made me feel like my feelings didn't matter. It had to be your way or I was the bad guy." He starts to protest but stops seeing the look on Rachel's face.
"Do you really think I noticed the way you were checking out Quinn? You had Quinn Fabray the most popular girl in school as your girlfriend since 7th grade. You two were made for each other. No matter how many fights you two had, you always worked it out. Yes she cheated on you and got pregnant but you were there for her before you found out the truth." He sighs.
"You got back with her after our break up and made her cheat on Sam with you. That just shows you how much I was to you. The rebound girl you thought you loved but your eyes were always on Quinn." She takes another sip of her drink.
"I'm really happy with Brody. He's the one I want to spend the rest of my life with. You will aways be my first love Finn but I just can't be in a romantic relationship with you anymore. As for our friendship, I'm just not sure I'm ready for that yet." He didn't want her saying that. He needed her in his life.
"But I don't want Quinn anymore. I understand that I wasn't the best boyfriend in the world but I could have tried this year." She needed him to understand she was done going back to him, she was done getting her heart broken again.
"I'm sure you would have but it just can't work anymore." Finn hated that she met another guy over the summer.
"Are you two going to get married right away?" Rachel shook her head no.
"Not until I'm finished with college. We both agreed that we should have a long engagement. We want to try being a this relationship as a engaged couple." Finn looked at her not believing how mature she is now. She wasn't the same Rachel Berry that he had as his best friend and the girl he fell in love. She'll always be the love of his life.
"Rachel you need to the understand that you'll always be my first love. I loved Quinn but I wasn't in love with her." She nodded.
"Okay what do you want me to say to that? I already told you that you'll always be the guy that I fell in love with. You are my first love Finn." He smiles.
"Did you and Brody celebrate your engagement?" She stared at him raising an eyebrow. Did he just ask if she's had sex with her fiance?
"Don't you think that's a little inappropriate to ask me Finn Hudson?" He stared at her confused. What did he say?
"How is that inappropriate? I just wanted to know if you celebrated with him, You were in New York City having a great time while the rest of us were stuck here in boring Lima Ohio. I'm sure you did something fun." She starts to speak when he asked a question that made her blush.
"Did you think I was talking about sex?" She just blushed.
"Babe I know your waiting until your 25 to have your first time. I did listen to you a couple times when we were together." She frowns. He called her babe.
"You called me babe." He clears his throat awkwardly, rubbing the back of his neck. Old habits.
"Sorry. I'm not allowed to call you that anymore since your in enagaged." She had to tell him.
"Finn you asked me if Brody and I celebrated on our engagement. Well I did celebrate in a way." He frowns getting what she's trying to say.
"Your no longer a-" She shook her head no.
"I don't want to know the details. Can we be friends or does Brody have something against you being friends with ex boyfriend?"
"We aren't really friends these days Finn. Brody also doesn't care who I talk to. He trusts me just like I trust him." He rubbed his finger against her hand.
"Yeah I know but we can work on that. I don't want our Senior year to end with us not being in each others life. Please give us another chance at a friendship." She sighed.
They had no idea that Jacob Ben Israel was there sitting far away from them, taking a picture of them wanting to know the story on the former couple. Everybody at McKinley knew that Rachel was dating a college man but to him, it looked like the former couple might be back on.
"Are you serious? you actually want a friendship with me?" He nodded.
"I need to think about it before I can agree to something like that. You really don't make it easy Finn." She tells him. The sound of the bell chiming made her glance at the door to see Kurt standing there waiting for her.
"You ready to go Broadway twin?" Rachel smiles at her best friend then looked at Finn.
"Why is Kurt here?" He asked her. He keeps forgetting that Rachel and his step brother are joined at the hip these days.
"Whatever happened to Kurt's friendship with Mercedes?" He thought.
"He was my ride here. I need to go Finn. I'll let you know how I feel about us being friends again. Enjoy the rest of your week off before school starts." He gets up when she did and he hugs her. She hugged him back awkwardly then pulls away.
"Bye Finn. Come on Kurt." She put her coat back on and left with Kurt.
"Finn, what's the deal with you and Rachel?" Jacob asked while walking over to him.
"Nothing is going on with us. Can't two exs talk to each other?" Finn asked him.
"It sure doesn't seem like nothing since you two were holding hands." Finn grabbed his camera, smashing it to the ground.
"Hey my camera." He whined.
"I don't give a damn about your camera. Keep out of our business." He frowns at his now broken camera.
"But this is huge news. Finchel is back on. Don't you want people to know?" He glared at him. What was going between her and Finn was nobody's business.
"No we don't need you bugging us Jewfro. I don't like you in anyway and your just ruining people's lives with your trash. Future annoying paparazzi that nobody is gonna want around. Leave Jewfro. Nothing is going on between Rachel and I. We were just talking." He grabbed his drink, his car keys and left.
At Ava's House.
Ava had one best friend that she grew up with and she was coming over for the sleepover. Vanna and McKenna were talking to her when the door bell rang. She got up and opened the door to see her best friend since forever and hugs her.
"I'm so glad your here." She walked in with her and took her bags. Vanna and McKenna stared at her with smiles on their faces.
"Girls this is my best friend Teagan Phillips. Teagan these are my new friends Vanna Weston and McKenna Jensen. My other friends will be here soon." best friend who went to Carmel was over Kurt and Rachel walked in talking. The girls glanced at them.
"Rachel what are you doing here?" Rachel heard her name and stared at Teagan and smiles brightly.
"Oh my god Teagan?" She got up from the couch and hugged Rachel.
The girls and Kurt stared at them confused.
"How do you two know each other?" Ava asked the girls who were done hugging. Teagan grins holding onto Rachel who smiles back at her.
"Were in dance class together." Teagan pouts playfully at her friend from dance class.
"Why haven't you been to dance class anyways? I miss you there." Rachel pouts.
"I'm sorry Teagan. I promise to be there next class. How are things with you?" They sit down with the others and talk for a little bit. Teagan grins grabbing ahold of her hand amd stared at the huge rocks on her friends finger.
"I'm so jealous. I wish somebody asked me to marry them. Do you know any cute guys I could be with?" Ava thought about something. Teagan could totally get with her ex boyfriend. Finn needed to get over Rachel and if she set her best friend up with Finn. Everybody would be happy. She just had to do it without Rachel knowing.
Rachel's phone rings and she saw that Puck was calling. They haven't really talked all year so why was he calling her.
"What Noah?" Ava glanced her away when she heard her ex boyfriend's name. She really wanted to be with him but he didn't give her the time of day.
"How's my Jewish American Princess?"
"Living my life. Can I help you with something?"
"Yeah you know your friend Ava. I need you to give her my number." Rachel glanced at Ava.
"Why would I do that? I won't let her get hurt by you. You only want one thing Puckerman." She hung up after that.
"Hey what was that about?"
"He wanted me to give you his number." She said oh.
Rachel's phone starts ringing again.
"What now Noah?" She listened to him speak.
"No it doesn't change the fact that you haven't talked to me all year. Do you really think I'm just going to jump right into our friendship after you've ignored me all year? I thought of you all people would try to make it up to me. I know very well that our other fellow Glee club members wouldn't." She heard him talking.
"Since little kids Noah Puckerman. That means something to me and if you don't see how that effects me then don't bother calling me." She hung up on him again.
"I mean really? when are they going to realize that I'm not going to put up with it anymore? I'm so tired of the fake friendships." Kurt and Teagan hug her.
"Don't worry about them. You have your true friends right here." Rachel smiles really glad for them. They talk more and order takeout once it got later into the day and changed into their night clothes. Rachel sent Brody an I love you text then she spent the rest of her night enjoying the company of her friends.
