The day runs with eagerness and might. Excitement yet determination for the upcoming destruction of the Hosanian Prime. Will the First Order actually destroy these planets? Killing billions of individuals? Mavka hadn't noticed it till now. Her mind runs like a salty wound. Just the thought of it made her nauseous. But, what could a useless being like herself even do?

Suddenly, a rush of cold air entered the craft. The vessel finally stations itself onto the Starkiller base. The chill was unnerving. Yet, slight fear ran deep into her mind. And when Twi'leks would feel fear. Their temperature would rise to much higher warmth. Basically, it didn't bother her as much.

Mavka hadn't been outside the Finalizer in many years now. The presence of the First Order base was a very different experience. She looked at the large hangar. Tall ceilings and open spaces. As her observation grew loud. A sudden Imperial Officer came to her and handed her a large coat. Mavka felt the unexpected weight. It was strangely heavy but thick. As she looked around her surroundings, there were many Imperial Officers with those thick, black coats. Perhaps she is to wear one as well.

Her hands adjusted the folded coat as a certain object fell from it: a hat. A First Order hat that is worn by many others. She hadn't noticed it now. General Hux had worn one as well. He usually leaves his head bare; tries to distinguish himself from the others.

Mavka put on the hat that was given and placed it onto her head. It didn't wrap around her head perfectly considering it was meant to be worn on humans.

The coat being worn was pleasant, comfy.

"Ein!" Called by General Hux. Mavka responds to his call immediately. She realizes that he is far away. As she hurries by his side she tops abruptly as she controls her stance.

He slowly turns to her abrupt presence.

"Today is an important day. —Are you aware what day it is?" Said General Hux. Mavka stares into his sullied eyes of malice. They're so tranquil yet vitriolic.

"...The destruction of... the Hosanian Prime?" Mavka replied.

"The end of the New Republic. Surely you have been informed?"

Mavka nodded. "Lieutenant Stynnix, yes."

Then, he looked down at her.

"Your posture is displacing, much like a begging vagrant. Weren't you given training?" Said General Hux. Mavka was a bit bothered by his statement. Before she could reply, he had already left at the uninterested period.

She shortly followed his steps as they approached through bright white sunlight meeting them. But the cold air appeared, the titling tension breathes in between flesh and fabric. An awaiting experience is soon to be in their grasp. Emerging from the darkness of the halls, they appeared onto a very large podium. The First Order banner was draped boldly in front.

A massive rally: a thousand stormtroopers, TIE fighters, and officers. The snowy landscapes brood.

General Hux seemed eager to speak, to commence this emulous event. Mavka was heavily intrigued by the atmosphere. Slightly captivated by the crew. There was a phasing warmth approaching. The type of feeling you can feel when another individual coming closer to your soul. Mavka didn't turn her head to seek, she continued to gawk at the view upon the side of the podium.

"You're here now?" It was a slithering type of tone. A familiar voice. Mavka had to see to confirm its source.

When she turned to see, it was that despicable face; Lieutenant Berik. Mavka frowned at the sight. Now inching further away. Yet, he was persistent. Blocking her way. Berik was a fair man such as most. Chiseled face, large nose, and graying brown hair. A face of perversity.

"I was curious as to why Captain Phasma stopped the search. Now ever more intrigued to why you stand here, with all officers." He seemed immersed, profound, and annoyed. A mix of emotions hidden in his tone but non-existent in his cynical expression.

Mavka ignored him. Bitterness laid across her face.

"Lieutenant!" Shouted from a nearby officer on the side. The officers began to position themselves upon the podium. Lieutenant Berik took one sour look at her. Mavka scowled at the sight of him.

"Watch your back, girl." Said Berik as he waltzed away from her. It would have seemed that everyone else assembled. Many officers watched Mavka, out in the blue still adjusting her surroundings as General Hux prepared his stance, flanked upon the podium.

Out in the distance, they all gathered themselves. A large congregation. The First Order's gathering. Mavka stood beside the other fellow officers. Far from Hux's stance but watched him glancing at the large crowd.

He stands tall, above all; his voice echoes.

"Today is the end of the Republic! The end of a regime that acquiesces to disorder! At this very moment in a system far from here, the New Republic LIES to the GALAXY while secretly supporting the treachery of the loathsome Resistance.—"

Mavka stares, observing him and the massive rally. His voice spurs of fire and power. The speech he articulates is beyond autocracy.

"—-This fierce machine which you have built, upon which we stand, will bring an end to the Senate! To their cherished fleet! All remaining systems will bow to the First Order! And will remember this... as the last day of the Republic." Hux roar with great volume and capacity. With his speech ending. We await. Spiraling vibrations from beneath the floors they stand upon. A rush of chilling air rushes through them.

Mavka's heartbeats in tension. She feels it intensely through the air.

"FIRE!" Shouts Hux, giving the signal as thousands of stormtroopers turn to the endless snowy landscape.

Past through the rally, for a moment, they await, nothing. Then, eerily...

An impossible beam of light erupts from the unknown, a light as powerful as an atomic weapon. The blast hits from miles away, into the sky. Its impact has the troopers and everyone nearly pushed back. Just the force and magnitude of it is truly great. Around the fire beam, ice and snowmelt instantly.

Hux watches, his eyes wild with power and great evil. The glow of the beam glistens in his eyes. Mavka could feel sharp tears be pulled from her sockets. The cold wind and harsh force were brutal, she could not understand how everyone and even Hux could idly stand by watching a weapon erupt into the sky.

The pulsating light in the sky had gone for a full minute. It just seemed like the world was filled with the everlasting color of crimson.

Who knows how long it went on. It was like staring into oblivion.

Finally, the explosive light diminished. As the beam snuffed out, Mavka was placed back in reality as if she had been snapped.

"And so, The New Republic is no longer!" Hux takes one glance at the remaining red light before them. A smug face on his sneering smile. He is truly proud. He turns to his fellow officers then he turns to Mavka. Hux leaves the podium; Mavka shortly follows him but she stops to see Lieutenant Berik interacting with General Hux. Mavka scoffs, distancing herself from the situation as she awaits.

They take glances here and there as their conversation ends.

Berik leaves the General alone. Mavka continues to look elsewhere, looking at the blank, empty sky of the winter cold.

General Hux with his hands behind his back, takes a glance at the pondering girl as his sneering look pierces her. Finally, she takes notice as this is his indication of coming forth. She shortly follows him as his impatience wears off.

Mavka's silent as she follows the General. They don't seem to be heading towards the hangar. Mavka gained the courage to rush near his side to ask.

"General, where do we go?" Mavka softly asked. He kept a steady head as he acknowledged her question. He sighs. "We will stay aboard the base as we have matters to deal with. The resistance prides on our course. It is only a matter of time till we rid of them."
