Rachel's College Boyfriend?

Summary

What if Rachel never got back together with Finn before Senior year and she met a guy name Brody Weston over the summer and they instantly hit off making it offical after she lost Nationals. She finds out that he goes to college at NYADA majoring in Musical theater How will their relationship work when her ex boyfriend Finn Hudson tries to win her back? And what happens when the Glee club members find out that she has a new boyfriend? Will they believe her or not?

I will be adding a few characters in this story aswell so Rachel will be making new friends but could make friends with the Glee club members.

At The Berry House.

Vanna Weston paced back and forth in her best friend's bedroom. She wanted to strangle Brittany and Santana. What Rachel does with Brody was none of their business. Sure Rachel shouldn't have answered the phone but on the other hand, Santana shouldn't have told them about the phone call.

"I could have strangled that girl once she opened her mouth. Oh don't even get me started on Miss Bitchy. Who does that bitch think she is gossiping about your personal life? Does she seriously have no respect for others?" Vanna screeched still pacing.

"Your getting worked up over something that was partly my fault in the first place. Relax Vanna and take a breather." Rachel murmured into her pillow.

Vanna huffed stopping her in the middle of her pacing and turned to her best friend, seeing her face buried into her pillows.

"Are you actually to consider being friends with that girl? Be smart here and think about the times she's did you dirty." She said with her arms crossed.

"Santana is just being herself. Yes it doesn't come out right but what do you want to do? We live in the same house together." Rachel pointed out.

"That doesn't mean you have to be friends with her? Myself, Remi, Kurt, Blaine, McKenna, Ava and Teagan are your true best friends." Rachel stared at her confused.

"What about Kyla? She's our friend to right?" Vanna sighs deeply and sat down on Rachel's bed.

"No Rae she's not. She's a fake who's pretending to be your friend. She's spying for her cheerios so they know personal dirt on you." Rachel frowned hearing this.

"Vanna what makes you think this? Is it beecause she's hanging out with Santana? Kyla's her own person and she can be friends with whoever she wants. I-" She interrupts her.

"No Rae you know who your real friends are and do you really see Kyla as one of those friends you could trust?" A million thoughts were running through her mind right now. Was Kyla really somebody she could trust to keep her secrets? Or was she one of those girls that would do anything to stab you in the back?

"Rae I wouldn't trust her completely. But again it's your life and if you want to continue being friends with her then go right ahead." Rachel just nodded still lost in thought.

"Is she lying about wanting to be part of LGBTS club too? If she is then she's out because that club is important to me and the others that are in it." Vanna shrugged.

"I honestly don't know Rae but maybe you should confront her about it. If she is? Then you need to kick her out." Vanna told her. She was looking out for her.

There was a knock on Rachel's bedroom door. Both girls stared at each other before yelling come in. The door opened and Kyla herself opened it.

"Hey girls. I can't believe Brittany embarrassed you like that. Are you alright Rae?" She asked with concern.

"Yeah I'll live." Rachel said with her famous show smile.

"That's good because Santana had no right to tell us about your personal life with your man. I even told her that." Rachel just stayed quiet.

"Um can I talk to Rachel alone Vanna? I need to tell her something." Both girls start at her skeptically.

"No problem. I'll just be in my room and unpack some of my things and do some laundry. You two enjoy your talk. Rae?" She glanced at her.

"Remember what I told you okay?" She nodded giving her a small smile. She left the room and closed the door behind her after Kyla stepped in.

"So what did you want to talk to me about?" Kyla smiled softly walking over to her and sat down on her bed.

"I don't want you to feel like I'm picking sides between you and Santana." Rachel shook her head.

"Kyla you are free to be friends with whoever you want to be friends with. Is Santana forcing you to side with her more?" Kyla looked down confirming her thoughts.

"It's okay. If you only want to be friends with her then do it." Kyla frowns looking at her.

"I don't want that. Sure I like spending with her a few times but I would rather hang out with you and really be like one of your best friends." Rachel sighed.

"Can we be honest with each other first?" Kyla nodded wondering what she was asking that.

"In the beginning of our friendship, were you pretending?" Kyla's grey eyes widen in surprise and sighed deeply.

"The truth?" Rachel said yes.

"Yes I was pretending at first for my cheerio friends because they wanted info on your relationship with Brody. I started going along with it but I couldn't bring myself to tell them anything so I told them that I was done pretending and I was willing to become your friend for real."

"So she was right?" Rachel whispered sadly. Kyla stared at her confused.

"She had a feeling you were being fake. She's my best friend and she told me what a fake you were. I should have thought really hard before I fully invested my time in this friendship of yours." Rachel spats. Kyla jumped seeing how angry she was getting.

"Rae-" She cut her off.

"It's Rachel. Only my true friends call me Rae or Rach." Kyla nodded sadly getting off her bed.

"I hope you can find it in your heart to forgive me and give me a real chance. I'll just go back downstairs." Rachel watched Kyla leave her room and sighed deeply. Why does this always happen to her? She deserved better.

Rachel's phone buzzed. She saw that it was text.

Can I come back now? V

Yes come back. Rae. Rachel put her phone down and waited. Vanna opened the door a few minutes later and saw the hurt look on her best friend's face. She hated that she was right about this.

"So I was right huh?" Rachel nodded sadly and falls into her arms. She just holds her whispering that it's going to be okay.

"It's going to be okay Rae. Now you know who your true friends are." Rachel just held her. She wasn't in the mood for talking.

Later that night Kyla and Quinn went home and the other girls rejoined each other at some point of the night. Brittany and Santana both apologized for embarrassing Rachel and she accepted their apologies. Now all the girls were watching a movie in the living room. They had pizza for dinner.

Rachel's phone buzzes and she glanced at to see Brody calling her. She excused herself and walked into the kitchen.

"Hey handsome." She answered.

"Hi baby. Do you miss me?" Brody asked her. He sure did miss her.

"Of course I miss you.

"Good because I'll be in town tomorrow and I'm taking you on a date. I need to spend time with my fiancée." He tells her.

"Oh I can't wait. I love you babe. Did you make up with Matt yet?"

"I'm working on it, hopefully tonight at this party we'll get somewhere. Are you still working on your friendship with Santana?" Brody asked.

"Yes even if your sister is against it. I just takes time." Rachel exclaimed.

"Don't worry about her. Just do what's right for you. Look I need to go." Rachel pouts.

"Alright I'll let you go. What time are you putting me up tomorrow night?" She wondered wanting to be ready.

"7:30 so dress semi formal. Love you gorgeous." She giggled.

"I love you too. Have fun at your party." They said I love you again before hanging up. Rachel couldn't wait for her date with her man tomorrow night.

"Come on Rae your missing the movie." Santana called out to her. She walked back into the living room and sat back down.

"So what do your man want?" Santana asked with a smirk.

"He wanted to call me before he went to his party tonight and also we have date tomorrow night." She said excitedly.

"By the way congrats on your engagement." Rachel smiles thanking Santana. They stared at her ring loving it.

"It was my grandmother's." Vanna told the girls. Santana was impressed.

"Your man has good taste. Are you having a long engagement?" Brittany asked Rachel.

"Yes we decided that we wouldn't get married until after we were both done with college. There is no need to rush." All nodded in agreement.

"How do you think Finn's going to feel when he finds out?" Rachel rolled her eyes.

"He already knows because we met up and talked. It wasn't easy but I think he gets the hint that we're just never getting back together." Vanna smiled.

"Yes because you belong with my brother. Now lets finish watching the movie." Santana and Brittany laughed.

Vanna clearly supported Rachel's and Brody's relationship big time. They spend the rest of the night just talking and having a great time before calling it a night.

Rachel was really glad to be back home. She just couldn't wait for her date tomorrow night. Brody texts her.

Can't wait to see you tomorrow. Sweet dreams my love. Your fiancé Brody.

Rachel smiled reading the text and got in her bed getting comfortable and smiled thinking about her date with her fiancé. She just loved saying that.
