Ever-Rose has a bacterial infection
I deeply apologize for not updating for three weeks I had a bad case of writers block with this chapter, and I have been living on Krypton these past few weeks as well anyways on with the story
"Daddy gonna take your clothes off to help you feel better" he says taking off her Christmas outfit and leaving her in nothing but her diaper while they wait for the doctor
Ever-Rose was still quite a bit fussy, so Kevin talked to her soothingly as they waited for the doctor
"Don't worry sweetie we will get you all better soon I hope" he says talking to her to get her to calm down
The doctor gave Ever-Rose a cool bath to help knocked that fever out of her while they wait on the results of her blood work
"There we go all better now you wanna cuddle with dada while we wait to see what is going on with you" he says putting her in a new diaper and a hospital gown
Ever-Rose had an infection in her bloodstream, and had to be admitted so the hospital can treat it with antibiotics
"Don't worry baby girl I'm not going anywhere I'm staying here with you until you're all better" he says as he comforts her as they head up to her hospital room
Kevin calls Dianna and tells her that they need to post-pone the trip by a few days cause Ever-Rose has an infection in her body, and had to be admitted so they could treat it
"You wanna lay with daddy and try to get some sleep while we wait for mommy to come?" he asks as he lays on the pull out couch that was in Ever-Rose hospital room
She looked up at him with her blue eyes
"I take that as a yes come on sweetie let's take a little nap together shall we" he says laying her on his chest and rubbing her back to get her to calm down
Ever-Rose was asleep within minutes, and so was Kevin
(An hour later)
Dianna and Tori and Bella walked in on the scene that could melt their hearts
"Did daddy do this with us when we were sick?" Tori asks Dianna
"Yes he did he would stay home and comfort you and do pretty much anything to get you to feel better, and when you came close to falling asleep he would lay on the couch with you on his chest, and rub your backs until you fell completely asleep. When you were asleep he would sleep too" Dianna tells the twins
"I loved that part when I was a baby" Bella says excitedly
"He might do it with you when you're in the hospital cause you will need to sleep on your stomach for a while after your operation' Dianna tells her
Dianna covered both Kevin and Ever-Rose up and left. Vowed to come back later to see Ever-Rose when she was awake
(That night)
"Look who it is Ever-Rose it's mommy and your big sisters" Kevin says when he sees Dianna and the twins enter Ever-Rose's hospital room
"Hey sweetie you not feeling good huh baby girl?" Dianna asks as she holds Ever-Rose in her arms
Ever-Rose lays her head on Dianna's shoulder
"Don't worry sweetie I'm staying with you while daddy stays with your sisters" Dianna says comforting her baby girl
Kevin didn't argue he took the twins home after they visited with Ever-Rose
"Bye Ever-Rose we love you" Tori and Bella say as they kiss Ever-Rose good night
"Night girls I love you" Dianna says to the twins
"Night mommy love you too" they say leaving
As soon as Kevin left Ever-Rose cried for him
"Ever-Rose you are a daddy girl like your sisters are" Dianna says trying her best to comfort Ever-Rose
Kevin came back cause he knew Ever-Rose missed him too much
"I'm here sweet girl mommy going to go home and it's just going to be me and you tonight" he says getting comfy with Ever-Rose
Once Dianna left with the twins he changed Ever-Rose and fed her a bottle
(McHale house)
"Mommy can I call Chloe to wish her a merry Christmas?" Bella asks
"Sure I don't see why not we'll Skype her instead so you can see her face to face" Dianna says going to get Kevin's laptop so Bella can Skype with Chloe
"Hi Chloe merry Christmas" Bella says when Chloe comes on the screen
"You too Bella how's Texas?" Chloe asks
"Good right now I am with my grandparents" Bella says talking to Chloe
"It looks like your grandparents have a nice house" Chloe says complimenting Bella
"Thank you so how was your Christmas?" Bella asks her
"Good I got a lot of cool stuff you need to see when you come back. How about you how was your Christmas?" Chloe asks her
"Not bad Ever-Rose is in the hospital" Bella says down in the dumps
"What's wrong with her?" Chloe asks
"She has an infection so she needs to stay in for a couple of days, and when she is released my mommy and daddy are going on a vacation just the two of them, so I'm going to be in Texas for a while" Bella says
"I hope your grandparents let you Skype, so we can still talk to each other
"I don't know I have to ask mommy and daddy if I can Skype while they are gone" Bella says smiling
"Let me know the next time we Skype which will be tomorrow" Chloe says smiling
"Okay Chloe" Bella says smiling
Bella and Chloe Skyped for almost an hour and Dianna let her talk to her best friend in the whole world and she could tell that Bella missed Chloe a lot
"Bella I got to it's time for Christmas dinner here bye" Chloe says logging off
"Bye Chloe" Bella says
"Did you two have a nice long chat?" Dianna asks Bella
Bella nods
"Mommy while you and daddy are gone do you mind if I Skype Chloe please?" Bella asks
"Sure I don't see why not just let nana and grand pop know when you are going to Skype her" Dianna says smiling
(Few days later)
"Come on Ever-Rose it's time to go home" Kevin says leaving with a happy Ever-Rose
