Easter with five girls
This Sunday Easter I'm going to try to do an Easter chapter for all my stories (I hope), so in this chapter Tori and Bella are in preschool yet, and it's the triplets first Easter
"Tori, Bella come on we are going shopping for your Easter dresses" Dianna calls to them
"Coming mommy" they say as they come down the stairs
After Dianna and the girls left Kevin decided to play with the triplets since they could roll a ball back and forth between them
"Okay my three adorable daughters you three wanna play a little bit?" he asks them
"Ya" they say happily as he gets one of their balls to play with
After thirty minutes of playing the girls were done
"Okay, okay I take all three of you are hungry I'll go get you one of your teething cookies" he says going to the kitchen to grab a teething cookie for the girls
Little that Kevin know that all three girls were going to follow him to the kitchen
"Oh my goodness girls you crawled" he says when he sees all four of them down on all fours
All three of them gave him a gummy smile
"Well while you three eat your cookie daddy is going to baby proof the house" he says tickling all three girls on their tummies
After Kevin put up some of the gates he put the three into the playpen while he worked on the rest of the house
(Later)
"Kevin we're home" Dianna says as she comes in with the girls
"Well Dianna our three girls are mobile now" he says as he kisses her
"Oh my goodness you three crawled" she says as she approaches the playpen where the triplets were sleeping at
All three of the babies twitched when they heard mommies voice
"Don't worry Dianna I baby proofed the entire house while they were in their playpen the stairs are protected, the outlets are covered, I got bumper guards on the corners by the fireplace, and on the coffee table and anywhere else" he says smiling
"Kevin I swear you are mighty dad half the time" Dianna says giving him
"Oh Dianna you're too much" he says
(Easter morning)
Kevin and Dianna were up early to hide the Easter baskets around the house, and hide the eggs both in the house and out in the yard
"I'm going to get started on Easter breakfast why don't you go back to bed Dianna" he tells her
"Thanks Kev" she says as she retreats back to their room for some more sleep
Kevin got started on breakfast, so it was ready when the girls woke up from their slumber
(Thirty minutes later)
"Daddy is making breakfast" Bella says waking up and running downstairs
The smell woke Tori up as well as the triplets
"I think the breakfast woke them up" Dianna says coming in with two of the girls while Bella had the other baby
"It always does since they were one" he says with a chuckle as he serves the girls their easter breakfast
"What do you say Bridget wanna try daddy's easter breakfast?" Dianna asks her
"Ya" Bridget says
"You wanna try daddy's breakfast too Ever-Rose?" Bella asks her
"Ya she says clapping her hands as Bella puts her in her high chair
After breakfast Kevin and Dianna had the girls go hunting for their baskets, and since the babies could crawl they put them where the babies could reach them
"I made fun baskets for the girls since they don't eat candy much" Dianna says as she sees the babies go for their baskets
"That's a good idea what do you put in the babies baskets?" he asks her
"Oh a toy, crunchies, a movie, and a book" she tells him
"Good choice I can't wait for the egg hunt later" he says with a chuckle
"Me either" Dianna says as she gets the girls ready for church
(After church)
"After lunch girls there is an egg hunt both inside and out, so whoever finds the special egg gets a special gift from me and mommy" Kevin tells them
Bella and Tori ate their lunch quickly and changed their clothes, so they wouldn't get their dresses dirty as they hunt eggs
"Thanks girls since dinner will be messy I suggest you stay in your play clothes" Dianna tells them as they begin hunting eggs
Kevin and Dianna help the babies hunt for eggs before they took a nap
"Kevin darling that was a great idea it wore the babies out" Dianna says as she place Bridget in the playpen
"I know maybe we can continue this in the future? He asks her
"You can count on it" she says as they kiss
Tori and Bella got some great prizes for finding the special eggs, and Bella shared hers with the triplets
(Time jump to K.J appearance)
"Kevin the baby doesn't know what easter is" Dianna says as she holds the newest McHale
"Gotta start him early that's what we did for the triplets" the oldest Kevin says as he kisses his son as he starts the hunt for the kids
"You will understand when you are older K.J" Dianna tells him
(Britannic first easter)
"Oh Kevin are you really going to include Britannic in this?" Dianna asks him
"Yes it's a tradition even though she can participate I'll let you go first" he says to Britannic who was laying on Dianna's shoulder
(Stephanie's first easter)
"I swear Steph daddy is crazy including the babies in the hunt" Dianna says to her
"We help them find the eggs like after she goes I'm going to help Britannic with the eggs" he tells her as he holds Britannic who was sucking on her paci
"Are you still going to do this when we have grandkids?" Dianna asks
"Of course they will go before our kids" he says as they kiss
