Chapter 16

7 void years later ( 7 Earth days later)

Place: Percy's mind, the void dimension

Percy POV

SLASH. SLASH. DODGE. JAB. ROLL .

I clashed sword with my opponent, both of us trying to overpower the other. I realized that I don't have to be stronger than my opponent, just quicker. I decided to let her think that she's overpowering me and then execute my plan. I let go of my pressure a little bit and my opponent put more pressure on her sword. I then executed my plan as I suddenly jumped backwards, thus causing her to lose balance and stumble forward. As she went to regain her balance, I lurched forward and feinted to her right . Being off balance, she put all her focus on blocking the strike. What she didn't expect was the sudden pull back of my sword and me hitting her left thigh with the flat of my sword. This caused her to loose her footing altogether and she fell to the ground. Quick as lightning, I performed the disarming manuever that Luke taught me. Her sword flew out of her hand . She looked shocked as she saw the tip of my sword at her throat.

" Yield" I said in a voice of absolute confidence. She overcame her shock and smirked slightly. A nod from her head brought a big grin to my face.

I offered her a hand. She took it and got up.

" Finally! After seven years of you wiping the floor with me, I defeated you. " I smiled like a little boy on Christmas Eve. She smiled back with a proud look in her eyes. " Very good, my boy. That was an excellent tactic to throw me off balance and strike. " I hugged her enthusiastically. Now you may be wondering why I am so happy about winning this fight. Well let me first tell you who my opponent was. It was my mother, Chaos. Yep , the creator of the universe and all that it contains.

The reason I was so happy was that in these see seven years of vigorous training, this was the first time I had managed to defeat her. In fact it took me about two years to actually land a cut on her during a spar. I now had sword skills that would make even the primordials cry for their mommy. The only beings who could manage to defeat me were Chaos, Tartarus and Ouranos. Tartarus was my spear instructor. Trust me when I say this, he is the most laid back dude amongst all the primordials, with an exception of Aether. I still remember the day mom took me to meet the primordial council.

Flashback start:

It was the second day of training with Chaos. I had just finished with my daily workout of five hundred push ups and a twenty mile sprint. Anyway, as I was heading to my small quarters to take a small nap, I heard footsteps coming towards me. I turned around to see Chaos walking towards me with a huge smile on her face. "Hey Mom, not that I am unhappy to see you, but what are you doing here?" Her smile grew and she said, " Today I want to introduce you to some people. Most of them are excited to see you."

Confused as to who would like to see me I asked," Who are you talking about, mother?"

She just simply answered," The primordials."

My jaw dropped to the floor. My expression must have been pretty hilarious, because she burst out laughing. "Come on. We don't have all day." She grabbed my shoulder and flashed us to some place that I couldn't locate even using my godly tracking system. We were standing in front of a pitch black gate , about thirty feet tall. It had wierd symbols on it. There were six symbols on eacb door. In the centre was a big black universe symbol. " You will not be able to sense the location of this place son, because this place exists everywhere and nowhere. "

" Whaaa?" Was my smart reply to her statement. She snickered and then said ,

" This place is the throne room of the primordials. It can only be approached y either the members of the council, or someone permitted to do so. " I nodded my head in understanding and motioned for her to lead.

She walked forward and pushed open the doors. As I walked in, I was awestruck at the beauty of the place. The throne room was ten times the size of the Olympian throne room. It also made the Olympian throne room look like a junkyard. There were thirteen thrones arranged in a semi circle. There were six thrones to the left, six thrones to the right and a bigger throne in the centre. Chaos went to the main throne and sat on it. The wave of power that spread through the room was enough to make even an Olympian combust and fade. The only reason that I was still breathing was because I had the blessings of the primordial of time, and the creator of the universe.

I looked around and studied the thrones. Each throne was about thirty feet tall, with the exception of Chaos's, whose throne was thirty five feet tall. To her left side, the nearest throne was dark black. But unlike Chaos's throne, which depicted the universe, this throne looked like the midnight sky. The throne beside it was forest green, with small vines for armrests. To it's side was a throne that was full grey in colour. It kept changing designs so fast that I had to avert my eyesight to prevent a major headache. The next throne was ocean blue in colour. It reminded me of the calmest waves in the ocean. The next throne was brown like the mud. The top of the throne was shaped like a mountain. Finally, the last throne in this line was a warm white colour. It reminded you of a bright, sunny day. Moving on towards the next line.

Here, the throne nearest to Chaos's was a warm golden colour. It had a clock on its top , and an hourglass beside it's armrest. Beside it was a throne that sent shivers down my spine. It was a dark red colour mixed with black. The engravings on the throne depicted the deadliest monsters and worst tortures. If my guess about the owner of this throne was correct, I would prefer not to meet him.

Moving on, the next throne was blue, and had clouds surrounding it. The next throne was the coolest throne. It was so dark , that I couldn't even make out the designs on it. It seemed as if it was made out of shadows.

The next throne was sea green, just like my eyes. It had a pictures of water and sea creatures on it. The last throne literally screamed APOLLO!! It was an exact replica of Apollo's throne.

Once I finished admiring the thrones, I looked forward and saw that Chaos was looking at me with an amused expression. She then created a small throne for me at the other end of the throne room for me. I sat down on it. She then raised her hand and sent a beam of energy towards the roof. The beam burst into million particles. Soon, multiple flashes filled the room. Once the flashes stopped, all but one throne was occupied by people. 'The primordials.' I thought in awe. The male primordial nearest to me turned to Chaos and said," Hey ,mom. Wassup? Any special reason you called this meeting?"

Chaos smiled and nodded. " Hello children. Today I have called this meeting so that you can meet the newest member of the family. I would like you all to meet Perseus Jackson, champion and heir of Chronus, and my champion and son."

Eleven pairs of eyes turned to me and I felt like a deer caught in headlights. I noticed that the throne next to Choas was empty and that Chronus was missing. I realized that he must have faded, and that the empty throne belonged to him.

" Introduce yourself children". Chaos said.

The woman next to her stood and said , " Hello little brother, I am Nyx , primordial of night."

The next woman stood and said," Hello Percy, I am Gaia , primordial of the Earth."

" I am Ananke, primordial of fate and destiny."

" I am Thallasa, primordial of seas and oceans."

" I am Ourea , primordial of mountains and terrains."

" Hello brother, I am Hemera, primordial of day."

I smiled back at them . Then I turned to the male primordials. The god next to Chronus's throne spoke, " I am Tartarus, primordial of the pit and monsters."

" I am Ouranos, primordial of the sky."

" Erebus, primordial of darkness and shadows."

" Hello Perseus, I am Pontus, primordial of water and sea creatures. I must say, you have a good control over water and the seas respect you, young one." I smiled at him and bowed my head a bit .

The last dude was a mirror image of Apollo. The same golden hair and bright blue eyes. Also, the cheery attitude. " Aether, primordial of light and pure awesomeness ,at your service Perce." His smile was contagious and I couldn't help but give back my lopsided grin. I had a feeling we were going to be great friends.

Over the next hour, I spoke to the primordials and hot to know a lot about them. They were totally cool and did not demand respect like the Olympians did. Turns out Tartarus was very laid back and friendly. It was his evil side that was the manifestation of the pit. Also that Gaia was really sweet and had a motherly attitude. It was her evil side that had taken control and caused her to order her children to kill her husband.

I also understood that Chronus had willingly faded , to reunite with his wife, Thesis, primordial of constellations and beauty.

I would be taking his place on the council once this war was over. I knew that I had found another family, some people who would care for me, along with the six major Olympians.

Flashback end

That was a wonderful meeting with the primordials. Now I had about three years of training left before I got back to the real world.

Time skip by three years

Today was the day that I was going back to the Earth. I had trained really hard during these ten years . Now I could face at least four Titans together in sword combat. My time powers now equalled Kronos's , if not exceeding him. My endurance and stamina had also increased greatly. I had not reached my potential of the primordial of time yet. Mom said that I would become a primordial after this war. She looked troubled for some reason. She said that my life was very unpredictable. She knew that we would win this war. But she was still worried. I had a guy feeling that I wasn't going to get the peace that I wanted even after this war.

I badey farewell to my mother . She promised to contact me through my mind . She asked me to close my eyes. As I do so, I felt as if I was being ripped apart. The pain was unbearable, but it stopped as quickly as it came. I slowly opened my eyes to see that I was sleeping on a bed in a house . I used my senses to scan where I was . I was shocked when I sensed that we were on Mount Olympus. I was aware of a figure sitting on a chair by my bedside. I tried to get up , but my hand gave away and I fell back with an ummpphh! The person beside me jumped out of her chair and gasped. "Percy!!" She yelled in delight and flung her hands around me. "Hey Hera." I croaked out.
