Time to Go Back to the Future Again

As Michiru turned to see his wife still asleep, and knowing her pregnancy meant she needed all the rest she could handle, Michiru slowly got off of the inflatable mattress they lied on, silently unzipped the tent, and crawled out to inspect their campsite only for his mouth to pop open at the sight that greeted him!

It was InuYasha holding both Kaname and Kagome in his arms as the two of them began kissing all over his face! Both were huddled against him clinging to him tightly as InuYasha blushed at all the attention. What was going on here?

"InuYasha!" Michiru cried out, "Kaname and Kagome! What are the two of you doing?!"

"Oh, Michiru…" Kaname blushed as she suddenly released InuYasha in embarrassment, "…I…I didn't know you'd be up so early…!"

"We can discuss my sleeping habits later," Michiru declared, "For now, I want an explanation. Why were the two of you holding InuYasha like that?!"

"W-W-Well, l-l-last night, Kagome and I…kinda came up with a solution to Sesshomaru breaking up with me…" Kaname hesitantly replied, "It's…kind of hard to explain…"

-

Heartbroken, and in no mood to sleep, Kaname made her way to an area of the forest where she could be alone. In love with two boys, yet neither wanted her. How could she bear it? Was she to live her life alone? She'd never marry Miroku in a thousand years, that was for sure! So…who was there for her…?

"Kaname?" A familiar voice spoke in as Kaname turned to see the woman that InuYasha chose over her looking sadly at her, "Kaname, I…I heard about what Sesshomaru said to you, and…and I want you to know how sorry I am that it didn't work out.

Kaname looked into the face of someone she once considered her enemy once-upon-a-time and scowled at her. Kagome winced at this ugly look and sighed.

"I…I know we've had our differences starting with when I so vehemently fought against your brother falling in love with Sango when I was convinced that she belonged with Miroku," Kagome admitted, "But…but things change. Now I can't see Sango happy without your brother in her life, and…"

"And what, Kagome?" Kaname asked

Kagome then looked at her best friend, then brought her hand to Kaname's cheek, and got in her face, "…and now I can't imagine InuYasha being happy without you in his life…" With that declaration, Kagome then out of the blue brought her lips to Kaname's own kissing her much to Kaname's surprise. The kiss held for ten seconds before Kagome pulled away leaving Kaname blushing.

"I came to a decision, Kaname," Kagome explained, "Polygamy is legal in this period, so…why don't we both marry InuYasha? He doesn't have to choose between us anymore because he can have both of us."

-

"I tried mustering up all the morality I could, but…I guess maybe remnants of Hadjinn's spell or something have made me more open to the idea of the two of us sharing InuYasha," Kaname explained, "Because in the end, the two of us ended on the grass making out with each other only to return to camp to give our proposition to InuYasha."

"And now we're going to be one happy family!" Kagome smiled as she kissed InuYasha's cheek as Michiru looked in shock as he rolled his eyes.

"I never thought I'd see the day…" Michiru grumbled as he looked at his sister, "Are you sure this is what you want, Kaname? It's not going to be an easy life…"

Kaname shrugged at this, "Maybe, but it's the best way to ensure InuYasha's happiness. Besides…" She then gave a naughty look at Kagome, "…Kagome is a good kisser. Better than most boys that kissed me when I was younger."

Michiru again rolled his eyes only for his thoughts on the matter to be broken by InuYasha asking, "So what about you, Michiru? What did father have to say about the Shikiga being unable to copy Tetsusaiga's power?"

Michiru looked at InuYasha at this and sighed, "He didn't say anything, really…he told me he wanted to find this out for myself. That's why I think we should go back home so I can do some studying in addition to looking after my wife in her pregnant state."

"Do you even know where to start looking, brother?" Kaname asked, "Did he even give you a hint?"

"All he said was 'The best things in life remain in the darkness until the light discovers them.'" Michiru answered, "I don't really know if it's a hint, but that's all he said."

"I see…" Kagome spoke, "…not a lot to work with, is it?"

"No," Michiru answered, "I only hope I can get lucky in the library or something."

"Guess we'd better get back to Kaede's Village," Kaname spoke, "It will give us a chance to see how deliveries from Akebi Village are going into the reconstructing of Kaede's Village is going."

"Yeah, good thinking," InuYasha replied, "We'd better wake the others, except for Sango. We'll have to carry her sleeping form until she wakes up."

"Leave that to me, InuYasha," Michiru spoke as he began to invoke his Wind Shikigami powers to lift the air mattress up slowly and gently so as not to awaken Sango as he set it on their wagon.

"We'd better get moving," InuYasha declared setting his two girlfriends aside as they went to wake up Miroku, Shippo, and Kirara.

"Hey, where are Sesshomaru, Jaken, and Rin?" Michiru asked.

"They left for Kasasagi Town to enroll Rin in college," Kagome explained.

"I see," Michiru frowned, "Shame. I was hoping I'd be able to convince him to agree to 'Michiru vs Sesshomaru: Round Three,' but I guess Rin's future is more important."

"Right," Kagome nodded as she filled a glass with water and poured it on Miroku's head.

"Hey! What the-?!" Miroku cried out as Kagome held her finger to her lips.

"Shhhh! Vow of silence, remember, Miroku?!" Kagome admonished with a giggle, "Don't speak unless absolutely necessary!"

Rolling his eyes at this, Miroku gave her a look that said, "You're enjoying this…" on his face as the others began laughing. They explained the situation to both Miroku and Shippo, and they all gathered their belongings onto the cart. While Michiru was away from the cart, too far to see or hear what was going on with it, Miroku took this opportunity to look at Sango's sleeping form in the cart. She looked so peaceful and heavenly lying there, and he hadn't touched her since he returned to Kaede's Village. The rise and fall of her breasts as she slept seemed to call out to him as he made his way to her quietly. He eyed her perfectly swollen bosoms as his hands seemed to work their way to her heaving chest slowly and slowly until they were about an inch from touching-

"I'm awake, you know…?" Sango's voice spoke out as Miroku turned ashen at the realization that Sango was awake as he pulled his hands away from his articles of temptation, "Boy was that funny! Seeing Kagome taking advantage of your vow of silence to wake you up with that glass of cold water!"

Rolling his eyes at this, Miroku slumped forward as the others returned.

"Hey, is something going on?" Michiru asked.

"No, nothing much, dear…" Sango spoke, "…just Miroku learning to resist his temptations."

"Uh-huh…" Michiru spoke suspiciously, "Well, I don't see a hand mark on your cheek, Miroku. I can only assume that you didn't touch my wife after all."

"No, he didn't," Sango answered.

"Good. He would have answered to me if he had," Michiru answered, "Well, let's be on our way back home. Kirara? Ready to pull the cart? You're much stronger and faster than any horse or oxen."

"Meow." Kiara answered with a nod as she burst into flames.

"Then let's go," Michiru declared going to Sango's side and smiling.

"What are you hoping for this time, Sango…?" He gently asked stroking her belly, "A boy? Or a girl?"

Sango looked up at this, and smiled, "I'm truly hoping for a handsome son this time. We already have three daughters as it is…"
