Once Harry had gotten himself together he realised that Dumbledore had kept these precious memories from him and Neville the last time round and that was indeed a very hard pill to swallow. To realise someone you've spent so long believing in and looking up to was evil is tough indeed. Ripclaw presented him with a few chocolates which made him feel better as he ate them. Remus had been right about the magical properties of chocolate as it really did make things better. Ripclaw came forward with Potter family ring which he presented to Harry. Harry looked into the open box seeing the huge silver ring adorned with Griffins and rubies. In fact it looked far too large to be remotely normal. The more he looked at it the less he actually liked it. He wasn't Malfoy so why would he wish to wear something so large and in your face. It just wasn't him and the truth be told it would never be him either. He didn't understand though that as soon as he put it on it would resize to actually fit him. Ripclaw laughed at his facial expression and told him to put it on and trust him which he did. Harry jumped as it resized to fit his finger looking normally as it should have. He was surrounded by a white glow which went in and out of his body repeatedly as he was filled with knowledge from his ancestors of all kinds and his eyes closed. When he opened his eyes he had the Potter Grimoire in his hands and smiled brightly. He felt such love when his familial magic bonded with him.

It surrounded him in a cocoon of joy and invigorated him so very much. "Ripclaw now I will go and look at my mother's vault to see what surprise she left there for me. While I am gone you are to audit every inch of my account for me and if Albus Dumbledore has taken anything it is to be returned to me at once please. If he has done so just take it back quickly and quietly and tell him nothing. No one is to have access to any of my accounts but me unless I come and tell you otherwise in person!" he said as a goblin arrived to lead him down to his mother's vault. He entered the vault shocked to see that it didn't contain any money. He had thought it might and at first glance it did look empty but as soon as he entered he saw how wrong he was. It was laid out in the same way as a muggle vault packed to the hilt with wall lined safety deposit boxes everywhere. The goblin showing him this vault casually mentioned that he wished other clients were this neat as it made auditing the vaults much easier. On the table he now noticed on a raised platform in the centre he found a letter with his name on it. It was from his mother. He opened it interested to see what it would say. As though reading his mind or something the vault itself seemed to conjure him an armchair in which to read it comfortably. His mum really was the best and truly did think of everything.

Dearest Harry,

No doubt you are wondering what the surprise I have left for you is. As you may know you cannot put everything personal into one will and I have not done so myself. On the recording in the pensive it doesn't say who the witness is as that is not how pensive wills work. On all of the written wills it is listed who the witnesses are and they have signed. The witnesses for my will were Albus Dumbledore and Ripclaw the account manager of the Potters accounts. As you may or may not know Albus always has some kind of hidden agenda so I decided to have one myself. I chose him deliberately for this role not that he knows that of course. In my will I have said some things which will make no sense to him and there is a reason. In fact I made it sound as though as I was a bit unhinged as I wanted him to think I was and he fell for it hook line and sinker.

He questioned why I mentioned that Professor Loveday was a divination teacher and I just told him that I didn't know but that you might randomly want to know about it. Like I wanted him to after that he assumed I was unhinged. The truth that only myself, Amelia Bones and Sirius Black know is that I am a true seer. I do not see things normally though as I can only see certain things. Basically I see the future and when looking into my own future I saw that James would only wish to exploit me if he discovered I could see the future so I never told him. He wouldn't even mean to exploit me it would just naturally go that way and so I had Sirius and Amelia give me unbreakable vows that they would never tell anyone about my abilities and they have not. Even Sirius agreed that James would eventually try to exploit me even though we all know he'd never mean to do it. Please try to understand that it was better for us all that he didn't know that and that I didn't exclude him to be mean. I looked ahead and saw your future. It was not pretty and as I write this I am heartbroken but with what I've done behind the scenes you should be able to take full control at age eleven and I wouldn't want to be anyone who has ever done you wrong there.

I did not put my plans into my will for obvious reasons. In the lockbox number twenty five you will find the deeds of number four Privet Drive which I own. It was given to Petunia and Vernon as a gift for their wedding and I told them it was place for them to live as they were struggling to find a home and Petunia was pregnant. This made things easier to do especially when I had a vision of what would happen to myself and James and indeed you. I saw how they would treat you and gave them this gift falsely telling them I bought it for them. As of now they are not aware you essentially own it. Have as much fun with that as you like I know you will. As I said before I can see the future but only in limited amounts. I cannot see anything going as I wanted it to where you are concerned and I do see that this is the fault of Albus Dumbledore and Minerva who doesn't question his actions enough. Your soulmate is H Granger. I can only see the H though so it might be Helen or Hannah or any other 'H' name. Find her and live your best life. As you'll see in lockbox fifty three I took an inheritance test and found out something highly shocking I never saw coming. It turns out my grandmother Hannah Dendani whose husband was an Egyptian man was actually a squib and I inherited a substantial inheritance from her it's likely she didn't even know she had. That inheritance will pass on to you now and prepare because it is a shocking one.

You are now the new Lord Ravenclaw and yes I did say Ravenclaw as in Ravenclaw house. I have seen in the future you also become the new lord of another Hogwarts house but I am not sure which one that is as I did not see the specifics. Essentially you will own half of the school of Witchcraft and Wizardry which does mean that you will be able to live in the founders' quarters if you wish. It also means you will be able to control the school wards as you like. In August for two weeks Albus will be in Italy at the ICW meetings which happen there each summer and I would advise fixing the failing wards while he is gone. They will feel stronger to him when he returns but he will think nothing of it as he'll have been gone for two weeks so he'll assume they always felt that strong. This is important as it will clear out many dark things in the forest which should not be there. The Forbidden Forest was originally called forbidden as it was used to hold various rituals by druids from all around the world as a central hub of magic. Since then it has degraded to the point that dark creatures have infested it and that's no longer acceptable. I will not have my son attending a dangerous school. Hagrid is the groundskeeper of the school but even he is not aware how far the fixed wards actually go.

They go all around the forbidden forest, the black lake, quidditch pitch and Hogsmeade village the local village beside the school. The founders wanted their wards to protect the students and their families who lived in the village at that time. If you ask goblin Axegrinder to go and fix the wards when the ICW meets next he will go there on your behalf and fix the wards at once. You will not to attend the school before your time. I have no desire to ruin the magic for you. Any dark creatures will be instantly killed and delivered to the goblin hoard to do with as they wish. It shall be their payment for the work they do and is only fair. Trust me they will agree to this as it benefits them the most. A lot of these dangerous creatures are actually rare goblin delicacies such as Acromantula steaks and such. They will love it and it keeps our precious school safe. It is a win-win situation for us all. Now I must tell you that I know you are a parcelmouth as you started talking to snakes on your first birthday. You must know that I don't care about it and do not think you are dark or any such nonsense because of it. I will not presume to speak for your father as he has his own views and he will own them whatever they happen to be. He does know about it though and when he looked into it he did discover a latent ability for it within his family that has not presented itself for two hundred years. I have asked him to write to you and in that letter he will explain how he feels about it.

Please my darling boy give Severus Snape one chance and if he cannot get past James then screw him! I'm sorry but I will not make excuses for nonsense whether it comes from Severus or James. Both men did terrible things to one another and others and I loved them both differently. Severus truly did have an awful childhood. He was ridiculed by everyone in Cokeworth where we grew up because of it. Essentially if he wasn't targeted by his father or neighbours he was targeted by James and other members of his house. He did not feel he had anywhere else to turn and joined the dark side I feel purely because they recognised him for being more than where he came from and his family. Finally he was seen even if it was by dark people. This is just a guess on my part though as I am not sure he felt like that. I get the impression that Voldemort is the kind of person who finds out what someone desires most and gives it to them in abundance so long as they follow him or do what he says. I get the impression that he does not initially let you know that what he wishes for you to do is dark in nature. When I looked into the future of him it was hazy at best. I could only see that he was very cocky indeed when he returned which he does do. In fact he seemed scarily sure of something I could not discern. Just be careful with him ok. Cocky people make many mistakes as Albus Dumbledore would realise if he bothered to think of others. Look after yourself and this H Granger soulmate of yours always. Love you infinity Mum X

He gasped at that information as he'd not seen it coming. The Ravenclaw ring was brought forth by the goblin with him and as he slipped it on his finger he saw it amalgamate with his Potter ring as he screamed his head off and passed out. What the hell was going on?
