Hiccup stood at the front of the boat looking off into the distance making sure the boat was on the right path.

"Yer shore about this son ?" Stoick said as he stood behind his son.

"More than I've ever been."

"What is they don't let us in yeu kno we haven't been on good terms with them in years"

Hiccup turned sideways not looking still not removing his gaze from in front of him.

"They'll hear me out. Even if I have to create a war. I'm not leaving without a search. This is the perfect place they would have taken him it's only 3 boat days away from Berk and they know we're not welcomed here but that's not going to stop me."

Hiccup finally turned to look at his father and said a few last words before walking away.

"Carona will not have the last word"

Stoick gave a small nod agreeing to what hiccup was saying.

A few hours passed. And as Hiccup was reviewing some last details about the search routes a fellow Viking shouted out to him.

"Chief!!"

Hiccup turned around walking closer to the edge of the boat as he scowled at what was in front of him. The Viking passenger spoke up.

"We're here...The Kingdom of Carona"

—-Meanwhile with Gothel——

Gothel was unpacking from her tip with Arkyn to the forest. She suddenly heard the door open to there little place. Gothel had her back to the door but still spoke.

"Ahh there you are my little prince, I wondered where you were. Though, I knew you'd be off adventuring to that silly river you know you shouldn't cross"

Arkyn listened to his mother as he looked at his new bow and his excited expression became worried. But then he realized he didn't have to tell her where he got it right? And his face lit up again with excitement.

Gothel heard no response and spoke up again

"You didn't go pass that river...right??"

As she turned around to look at him.

Arkyn spoke up before she said anything.

"No i didn't mother but look what I found !! Isn't it great Aw now I can learn how to shoot arrows !! Isn't that great ?! Now I don't have to-"

Gothel jumped where she was standing. It was as though she had seen a ghost, she went pale realizing exactly who's bow that was and it sent shivers down her spine...it was...Hiccup's.

'No, it can't be' she thought to her self, but it was she remembers the day he was out showing Merida how to adjust her pose to get a perfect bullseye. Was he here?! Did he see Arkyn?! So many questions became to flood her mind.

Arkyn hadn't even noticed her reaction he was too excited and rambling on about how excited he was to use it. Gothel's worries suddenly became anger.

"WHAT ARE YOU DOING WITH THAT?! YOU GIVE ME THAT THIS INSTANT!!"

Gothel then ripped it out of Arkyn's hands. Arkyn face quickly became sad, he looked down at the floor as gothel yelled at him.

"YOU KNOW THESE ARE BAD!! HOW MANY TIMES DO I HAVE TO TELL YOU CHILD YOU ARE NOT ALLOWED TO BE NEAR ANYTHINGGG!!!"

Arkyn's eyes began to water and tears began to fall a little after. He sobbed quietly as he saw gothel throw the bow into the fire, had never felt so lost, so out of place he felt as though his mother didn't love him because everything that made him happy was "Bad" and most of the times she didn't care what he did.

He looked at the bow in the fire wishing things were different, and little did he know his father was some place else wishing the same.

Hiccup outside the Carona Castle ready to enter as the doors opened they stepped in and walked into the thrown room where the king and queen stood.

"You have some nerve showing up here Viking. I should have you thrown away rotting in a cell as I use your dragon as decor to my thrown room" said the king

Hiccups blood boiled at how much he hated to be here begging an enemy to let him search for his son it was the lowest you can do as a king or Chief, taking away the respect you have showing vulnerability but if it got him closer to finding his son then he would do it in a heartbeat.

Hiccup looked around watching ever guard readying their weapons, hiccup simply glared at the king feeling insulted thinking that the king actually believed he'd be stupid enough to come into the lions pit. And it was as though he read his mind.

"But your bravery impresses me every time first you fight one of the most dangerous dragon killers, and also dragons themselves and then come here. Do you have a death wish?" The king said with a small chuckle.

"I know we don't see eye to eye but I'm here to talk business. I need to search your kingdom to find something that was stolen from me" hiccup finally said.

The king looked puzzled.

"Now why would I have something of yours?!"

"Not you, a villager perhaps. I just need your permission to search the place, your castle will be off limits if that's what you want and-" suddenly Hiccup was cut off my a beautiful girl in a maroon dress with lace that draped on top of her gown she was petit was held herself up right to look power full. Her hair was bight as the sun and her crown sat beautifully on top as it shined by the light coming in she looked so heavenly.

"Hiccup?" The girl asked.

Hiccup smiled knowing exactly who she was and a sign of relief and a weight off his shoulders, she's exactly who he wanted to see.

Everyone looked puzzled but hiccup and the beautiful girl both lit up at the sight of each other.

The girl ran to him and gave him a big hug.

"Rapunzel!!" The king yelled shocked and slightly embarrassed that his daughter still didn't know the right way to greet guests.

Rapunzel turned slightly to look over at her father and gave him a sheepish smile then looked back at hiccup.

"Sorry I'm still learning" she whispered at him.

Hiccup gave her a soft smile.

"So what brings you to Carona?" She said as she walked up to stand next to her father.

"I need to search for something in your kingdom" hiccup repeated again.

"Oh?" Rapunzel said confused.

"Rapunzel this isn't your place to be" the king said.

"And why not father? Hiccups my friend I want to help him" she replied

"FRIEND?! He is the ENEMY!!" The king said strictly back.

Hiccup stepped in and spoke up.

"I'm not here to start an argument, Rapunzel I can speak to you later about the situation but I just need access to your kingdom this one time and after that we are gone and I will be in your debt"

The king thought for a moment but before he could say anything Rapunzel spoke up.

"I grant you your request"

The king quickly looked at her "Rapunzel !" He exclaimed.

"I take his word for it father. He's the one who helped me from those bandits who tried to hold me from ransom..." she said as she smile at hiccup.

Her father was shocked.

"No the princess of Dunbroch did" he replied.

"Yes and that his wife. Merida"

Rapunzel said.

Hiccup gave her a smile and a nod.

"Is this true?!" The king asked hiccup.

"I will tell you everything you highness just grant me that request"

"You have my permission and no debt. My Rapunzel trust you. But after this out of my sight" the king said firmly.

Rapunzel looked at hiccup worried but he gave her a reassuring nod telling her it was alright.

"Let go" Hiccup commanded his group. Leading them out of the thrown room.

After the meeting with the king. Everyone started to unpack the boat to camp out in the woods. Few hours passed and Rapunzel showed up in the same dress but with a cloak.

"Need a hand." She said to hiccup.

He chucked at the idea. He knew Rapunzel was very strong and could handle herself but the thought of her helping didn't look right for a princess to do.

"I got but thanks for the offer punz"

He replied.

"Such a brave thing you did coming here and standing up to my father, I'm guessing this is more than a search?"

Hiccup looked at Rapunzel then looked away.

"No it's just a search, one of my dragons is hurt and I'm looking for it"

"Oh...I'm sorry" Rapunzel replied in a sad tone.

Hiccup felt awful that he had to lie to her. But he knew if she had told her about Arkyn she would try to help and that meant getting her father involved and knowing her father he wouldn't and instead use it against them.

"How's Merida and your little one? I have yet to go meet him again! I bet he's getting big"

Hiccup tried to fight back the tears.

"They're doing great he's um...yeah, getting big..."

Then a fellow Viking interrupted before Rapunzel had to say anything else.

"Chief, everything ready"

"Thank you Garth."

"Well I'll let you get to it, let me know if you need anything, tell Arkyn and Merida I said 'hi' and I hope your dragons okay. He's going to be okay..."

She went to give him a big bear hug before she left and for a second hiccup felt like she knew what was happening but she didn't say anything and held hiccup for a while and hiccup returned it with the same strength. It was a hug worth a million words

"Thanks Rapunzel"
