Netto's Awakening: Road To Adolescence

After the last chapter, which shows that Netto is registering for his next term for high school, I'll be forwarding the plot, in which the setting for this arc is the advent of summer, which a few months passed by and this is where Netto and co. are shown spending some summer vacation in which they head off to the beach to get some tan, bikini and chicks, but of course there's plenty of action for you to see, though there won't be much lemon (love) scenes here in the first half of this chapter as I'll be putting more story here for you to enjoy just to show you this fic is not just about lovemaking and all.

In the past two chapters you saw the mysterious fortune teller making a fortune prediction while Netto and Mahajarama passed by and saw him doing some kind of predestination ability to know what vision he sees in the coming weeks. Here you'll see who is in danger and who needs to be saved so that aforementioned fates could be changed.

Also, last chapter introduces another character named Zolda Man whose alter ego is a well-known lawyer, which he gives Netto his "greetings" wherein Netto narrowly escapes getting bombarded, and from this point on you'll get to see more of him on a frequent basis. Right now another character exclusive to this fic will be introduced.

Ch. 10: Yokan

A few months ago...

As Netto looks on, the paper flew from the fortune teller's hand and landed on the campfire and burned, as he sensed a fortune which says that someone's life is in danger, though it wasn't clear on which person is in question but Mahajarama sensed it as well and decided to talk to this fortune teller as he sensed something different about him. In the vision the fortune teller "saw" Netto inside a cave off the shores of Yokohama weaponless and is being attacked by a Darkloid resembling a humanoid piranha. The 14-year old Net Saver was only clad in a swimming brief and you could see open wounds all over his body.

At that moment the Darkloid-piranha charged towards Netto like a torpedo and an "explosion" occurs which saw Netto killed in the process. The "vision" ended after the paper burned up completely and the fortune teller noticed Mahajarama standing in front of him while Netto left after Rockman told him that they should go after being told that Meijin wants to talk to him.

"Are you really a fortune teller?"

"And what if I say yes?"

"My senses cannot fool me…you have a NetNavi and you can cross-fuse without a dimensional converter. What are you doing with your new-found power?"

"To stop abusive people from abusing their power. I also help people change their waited fates so they can prepare their futures. I have no intention of fighting someone like you…you have changed and do good deeds…at least that's what my fortune telling says."

Seeing this Mahajarama decided to leave seeing that the man, who is named Miyuki Tezuka, can at least be trusted but told magic man to keep an eye on the man's NetNavi just in case. As the coast is clear, Tezuka left and went to the streets to do some Coin Fortune Telling at a town square while wondering on how to find the intended person who is Netto Hikari. His vision tells him that Hikari has a bright future and once he is killed Japan would plunge in to darkness and chaos unless he finds him at once.

A few months later...

At the Net Saver HQ, Meijin was talking to Netto about what he thinks about the recent cases that involves Ohja Man and a string of Darkloids attacking the cities without the use of the Dimensional converter, which Netto finds it alarming. Though tempted to ask Meijin about Enzan getting a chip from someone, he was surprised when beaten to the punch.

"We got info on Enzan getting this new chip which allows him to do a different kind of Cross fusion without the use and/or need of the dimensional converter. Enzan gave it to us for examination and I must say this is different from what we thought. Even your dad was surprised at this, but your friend refused to tell us who gave it to him though he seem to have a personal reason for this."

As Netto wondered why Enzan refused to cooperate, he can tell that this has something to do with his personal life involving his father, Mr. Ijuin, and hoped that talking to him would make sense on this but then saw something on the table which gave him an idea. Looking at it a plan popped in to his head and asked Meijin if he can have it.

"Uh…sure. I figured you and your friends could use a little R and R…well, it's summertime after all…go tell your friends and invite them, but keep your PET open for emergencies…we don't know when the next attack might occur..."

With that Netto left the office with the brochure with him as he decided to invite everyone to a beach off the coast of Yokohama. It was then that Rockman had an idea which would have added benefits to their planned tip which the 14-year old Net Saver finds it beneficial.

"Netto…why don't we invite Enzan to come with us? It would help him unwind as well as to relax after what happened last week…it might help as well as make him open up to us more…"

"Yeah…it might…and also he might tell us about that mysterious chip he got…"

"Why don't we invite Anetta?"

"That's a good idea!"

While passing by a fish store the two didn't notice that someone is watching them, and you can only see the stalker in silhouette and is hiding within a monitor of a PC which only reveals its eyes and fangs and is eyeing at Netto, seemingly knowing him from before.

"Netto Hikari…enjoy your life for now…for the next time I find you, you will die at my fangs…or so says Piranha Man…you humiliated me last time…and now I will humiliate you in return…"

At the Hikari Residence, Dr. Hikari was at his room with his wife Haruka and the two are talking to Enzan in which they are giving him counseling on how to deal with his father and it seem to be working as little by little the 15-year old teen is opening up to the Hikari parents though he still refused to divulge the secret of the Vent Fusion Chip in which Dr. Hikari opted not to talk about it knowing it was important to him.

Downstairs Blues contacted Netto through his PET that the Hikari's are currently talking to Enzan and Netto decided not to disturb them since Enzan really needed the advice from the Hikari parents. He then decided to contact everyone to invite them to the beach. He first contacted Meiru and she instantly accepted the invitation.

"Sure, I'll come! And i'll be wearing the best bikini you'll ever see."

Netto blushed at hearing those words and wondered what kind of bikini she's intending to wear. He managed to suppress visualizing it not wanting to arouse himself. Next he contacted Tohru and Dekao and he got the same response as Meiru.

"Sure, I'll come!"

"Sure, I'll come!"

Sighing, he contacted Yaito and she said she is coming at the same time she promised to provide all of the necessities and transportation. Smiling he contacted his teacher Mariko Ozono, Yamitaro Higure and Shuuko Kido, and the three gave their word that they'll attend. Then he wondered who is he calling next when his NetNavi made a suggestion.

"Netto...let's call Anetta."

"Okay..."

A few minutes later, the two are having a conversation and they decided to meet up at a town square to discuss things that involves Enzan. As they meet they began to have a conversation while the two are unaware that Miyuki Tezuka was near them doing tarot card readings to a customer. As the customer left the enigmatic fortune teller, wearing his black pants, white polo, and red blazer glances at Netto, seeing that it was the 14-year old boy whom he saw in his "vision" and wondered who will help change his fate if he is to live longer to save the world.

"...I see...Enzan's on an emotional turmoil because of his feud with his dad. I wonder...what did I do that Mr. Ijuin disapproves of me that much? I didn't do anything wrong..."

"Have faith, Anetta...my dad is talking with the Ijuins and I'm sure things will work out. I really recommend that you come with us at the beach...this is a good opportunity to talk to Enzan so he can open up...at least to you. I'm sure your help will benefit a lot."

"Okay...I'll be there. Thanks for letting me know."

After that, the two bowed and Netto left while Anetta stayed watching the 14-year old boy leaving the town square not noticing Tezuka watching the Net Saver leave. Then the fortune teller was quite startled when another person called him out, and it turn out to be Miyuki Kuroi, a Net Agent and a fortune teller just like him. The two had a stare down and Kuroi made her move which started the discussion.

"So…you have the power of predestination just like me…and you have a chip to Cross fuse as well…but something else lies within you…"

"Are you also concerned about that boy?"

"Perhaps, but it is you I am concerned…what is your motive and why do you have a protective tendency over him? Surely you have an ulterior motive…"

"I have my reasons but that will…"

Their discussion was marred when both sensed something as someone was following Netto through the passage of energy from the traffic light and Kuroi's NetNavi,Skull Man, spoke to her which was also sensed by Tezuka. He traced the trail of energy and the source was just within reach towards Netto and realized that his impending doom is nearing him unless he changes the tide.

"Mistress Kuroi…a darkloid is following Hikari and is bent on killing him. He is Piranha Man, and he was defeated by that boy months ago. It seems he's attempting to use the vehicles to ram him dead. We must…huh?"

Skull Man and Kuroi saw Tezuka standing in front of the traffic light with no one looking and is going to initiate a Vent Fusion and Kuroi watches the scene in curiosity on what he is about to do. A passing Mahajarama saw this as well and sees what is about to happen.

"Synchro-chip slot in…initiating Vent Fusion!"

As soon as he does so, Tezuka is instantly armored up in red and black designs and the two Net Operators saw Tezuka's armor resembling a stingray and he became Raia Man and he went inside the traffic light and is now inside the Cyber World. Inside, Raia Man blocked Piranha Man's path as the renegade Darkloid is about to initiate a death blow to the 14-year old boy.

"I won't let you kill that boy! You started this and you deserve it!"

"Who are you and why do you stick your face on my business? Get out of the way!"

But Raia Man wouldn't budge and used a Battle Chip to summon the Swing Vent and started whipping the Darkloid but he resisted and tried using his "fang missiles" but they were "whipped" away and Raia Man continued to attack him until the Darkloid loses patience and retreated, vowing to get even the next time they meet. After that, Raia Man saw Skull Man and Magic Man staring at him seeing that it was no ordinary Cross Fusion.

"Who are you?"

"My mystic powers tell me…you're using a different chip…"

"It will always stay with me…and I can't say if I should tell you this since you both have a dark past…but I'm doing this to change that boy's fate."

Back at the real world, Raia Man emerged from the traffic light and reverted back to normal while staring at Mahajarama and Kuroi as he flips a coin and caught it while reading their fortunes which slightly surprised the two.

"You will reunite with your comrades and will do a good deed in the coming future…the same will apply to you, miss…that is my fortune telling and I never make mistakes when reading them…"

After that he left leaving the two intrigued but they too left and went separate ways.

At the Hikari residence, Haruka drops by Netto's room to check on her son and saw him on his bed with Meiru hugging him and assume that the two were just having some romantic moments seeing them together and decided to speak before leaving.

"I'm going to the market to buy food. Please behave while I'm gone…"

"Yes, mom."

"We will, Mrs. Hikari."

As she left the room, the two giggled and kissed passionately while removing the blanket covering their lower bodies and it showed that Netto was naked from the waist down and so was Meiru, in which both were already aroused and they decided to resume their "session", and he went on top of her as he was rubbing the lips of her "flower" using the base of his erection even though there was no actual penetration.

Outside the Hikari residence, Tezuka was slanting against a tree watching the two lovers via his "vision" and wonders how he will deliver his "warning" to the 14-year old boy without arousing suspicion, knowing Netto's future contribution to the world will end unless he finds someone who will act as a "verbal vessel" to bring the word to him. It was then that Enzan Ijuin passes by to see Dr. Hikari again as he has another appointment with him and sees the man who "defeated" him a week ago.

"You again…what are you doing here and what do you want?"

Glancing at Enzan, Tezuka then got an idea on how to save the 14-year old Net Saver from his impending fate and he sees this as a good opportunity to see how much Enzan has changed. He then responded to the 15-year old boy by showing out his PET, much to both his chagrin and delight, wanting to settle the rematch with him.

Hope the story is as good as you expected as this will affect the events of my future chapters. Sorry if the love scenes are quite mild, but as I said before, I'll be putting more emphasis on the plot but rest assured that I'll put more room for the love-making scenes should the plot demands it. I want to give this fic a good story and you deserve to see it.
