Netto's Awakening: Road To Adolescence

I have to admit that the rape part shocked the heck out of everyone, and my real intention was to traumatize Netto though I tend to overlook certain areas when writing/typing the plot and I was totally unaware of the implications it might caused.

Meiru was supposed to be the one to suffer the brunt of the "impact" (the rape part), but we all know that she is the "voice of reason", and Netto usually gets the "sermon" whenever he gets reckless and it took her to bring him to his senses, and the only situation I could come up with is by what I put up at him at the end of last chapter.

Here he goes "out of control" and the intended swimming story arc will be on hold so I can put a lot of emphasis on Netto's "attitude". One of the key aspects on Netto's transition to adolescence is that teenagers usually get emotionally irritated on certain things, such as angst and letting his emotions took over reason. In his case getting "raped" by Takeo's robo-lion, Octo Man's molesting Meiru, Pirhanha Man's breaking her hymen, and feeling humiliated will be the center plot of this chapter.

Ch. 12: Netto's Quest For Vengeance Part 1

Two weeks have passed since the incident and things weren't the same as before. The Net Police being led by Meijin Eguchi are now searching for Takeo and his allies, and likewise, the Cyber World Police are also in search for the fugitive Navi's as they too coordinated with the Net Police after hearing of what happened.

At the real world, Meiru partially recovered though she hasn't stepped out of her house as per her doctor's advice to help her get her bearings back. Though what she went through can be considered a close case, she is more worried about her boyfriend who got the bigger brunt of the incident. Though her parents were reluctant to tell her of Netto's condition, Rockman and Roll relayed the news on her PET and this made her worry even more.

"Netto's locking himself in his room? For almost a month?"

"Yes…at least Mrs. Hikari sends him his meal on the front door of his room…"

"Dr. Hikari's still working on a new PET that would be as durable as it would not be breakable like the last time…I wish it would be ready so I can talk to Netto and help him snap out of his melancholy…"

At the Hikari house, the scene shifts to his bedroom where Netto lays on his bed, his eyes looking at the ceiling and his face had a look of a zombie and tears fell from his eyes, recalling the incident over and over again. His ego and morale was greatly affected as he was unable to do something to defend Meiru and fight back.

Recalling the part where he was "raped" by Takeo's robo-lion, his eyes turn into an angry person and would vow to get even if given the chance to do so. Soon his anger has taken over and is slowly getting obsessed in nailing Takeo and his cronies.

At the Cyber world, Piranha Man was pleased with the end result on their first step in getting even at Netto Hikari. The 14-year old boy was humiliated and is confident that he won't recover from the trauma he and his allies inflicted and now they won't have to worry about seeing him now that his PET is destroyed and he can't do the Cross Fusion. Beastman, Octo Man, Jelly Man and Hammerhead Man convened and are celebrating their "victory" when they noticed that the Cyber Police are closing in and so they "logged out" and fled to the Real World.

Elsewhere at the Cyber world Rockman, Roll, Gutsman, Iceman, Glyde, Aquaman and Blues also convene at Meiru's PET and are discussing on how to help Netto overcome his misery and get himself to move on, though blues said it would take a miracle for him to wake up, but Aquaman pointed out his fear on what would happen in the next few days or so which made the other Navis to feel apprehensive and this sent chilling feelings all around them.

Aqua Man: "Glub-glub...suppose Netto would snap and goes out hunting Inukai and his cronies...glub-glub? I can imagine how scary he can get, glub-glub..."

Ice Man: "I don't think he has what it takes to do that...(I hope)"

Guts Man: "What should we do if that's the case...?"

Rockman: "WE'D better pray that we're wrong..."

Blues: "I'll have master Enzan informed of this...and in case that the scenario, Me and my master will try to restrain him...so far I'm the only one who can travel freely at the real world...Dr. Hikari is currently testing the strange chip Rayman gave us...and we'd hope Netto is unaware of this..."

Back at the Hikari residence, Yuichiro came hom early to see how his son is doing, but Haruka was full of worry despite Netto's signs of relief as he started to emerge from his bedroom though he still has the traumatized look. As the scientist checked on his son inside the bathroom he was having difficulty in extracting his "poop" though he tried to hide the discomfort but his dad found out about it.

"Son...I know your life is turned upside-down, but you shouldn't isolate yourself...your friends are worried about you and you should hang out with them and..."

"No...I can't show myself...after what happened...I don't want to be treated like a broken equipment...I want to go get my PET...and find Inukai...I mean...I'm a Net Saver..."

"The Net Police told me you'll be on leave until you're fully recovered..."

"WHAT? What am I supposed to do now?"

Then the TV flashed which showed Netto being raped by Inkuai's Robot lion and showing it in full detail as the footage zooms in and showed Netto's butt being "impaled" and everyone saw it. Needless to say, the 14-year old boy lost it...literally, as he lifted a huge vase and threw it at the TV, damaging it and he went into a loud fit of rage as he was being restrained by his parents.

At the Sakurai residence, Meiru could hear Netto's deafening rage and she got the courage to run out of her house and went inside the other house and saw Netto punching his dad just to break free and she joins the Hikari patriarch and tries to calm an enraged Netto, but to no avail as he forcefully shoved her to the ground, hurting her and in his enraged state he landed a strong punch to his dad's face and got free, but before he could exit the front door Laika stepped in and punches the 14-year old boy to his gut which sends him kneeling to the floor. That disabled him while getting lectures from the newly-installed Net Police reconessance leader.

"Calm down, Netto...this is Inukai's way of taunting you...don't let yourself get suckered into falling to their ruse. Stay calm and you'll eventually learn your mistake. This is what they want...drive you mad and you'll be disabled once they saw what you become."

Enzan was there when he saw it and recalled what he went through when he met Rayman, and now he felt that he should rectify his error by helping Netto in any way he could, and now he wonders if Tezuka were here he might help the other boy see the error of his ways.

Netto didn't pay any attention as his anger lowly consumed him to the point that he became obsessed and is craving for vengeance.

At a secret hideout, Videotape Man had just finished inserting the footage where Netto was "raped" and that Hide Narcy was gloating at how Netto would feel embarrassed at being the laughing stock of his neighborhood while Inukai seem to like the idea of driving the boy insane as this would keep him preoccupied since he doesn't have a PET.

"Nice one, Narcy, Videotape Man...I'm betting he's throwing a fit though he has no idea where to find us...and even if he does, he won't be a bother to us..."

"Why not humiliate him again? This time have his "pee-pee" violated?"

"Good idea..."

As the two Net criminals got along, they are unaware that Plant Man is watching them though he has no intention of ratting them since he is now completely neutral though he'll be compelled to stop them depending on the situation yet he finds himself displeased at what they just did.

"These guys...they got what they want yet they still want to humiliate that boy...?"

A week later Netto was "grounded" by his dad and is forbidden to leave the house, since this was Yuichiro's way of protecting him from himself knowing that his son is showing signs of becoming obsessed in finding his tormentors, but this in effect gave the young Hikari the resolve in finding them in another way. Then he saw the phone and decided to see if he can eavesdrop on someone to get info, and he got one as he listened to his dad and Enzan talking about the Vent Fusion chip and that a new PET is now ready.

"...so Netto's new PET is ready?"

"Yes...but I cannot bring Rockman in just yet as I still need to test it...and considering his recent emotional turmoil he might get in to trouble. Anyway, I managed to create a duplicate of the Vent Fusion chip thanks to you for loaning it to me...right now I'll have it tested tomorrow so we can see how this goes...though based at what you've shown me the user might be in "blank form" since the Fusion chip requires another Navi since your current Navi such as Blues is not made up for."

"Very well...I'll be there tomorrow to help you out. See you then."

As both cut off the line, both went to bed to rest up, but Netto was still there and became determined to get that chip in order to commence his vengeance against Takeo and his cronies, but since he heard that it required a new Navi to initiate an upgradeable form he figured that Rockman might rat him out so he opted not to and turn of the lights.

The next morning, Dr. Hikari and Enzan were seen showing a facial panicked state as the newly-created duplicate of the Vent Fusion chip he just made, along with the newly fixed PET, was missing and asked the employees if they seen it, which they said no, and looking at the security cameras they learned that all have been disabled. Enzan wondered how this happened while the professor feared what he is suspecting, and his suspicion was indeed confirmed as Haruka called.

"Dear...Netto's missing and he seem to ran away as early as this morning!"

"Oh no...he's not going to..."

At the heart of Shibuya, you can see Netto hiding within the alleyways avoiding detection as he is just moments away from achieving what he wanted: Finding Takeo's lair and at his right hand was the Vent Fusion Chip he stole from the Hikari Lab and at his right hand is the newly-created PET intended for Netto which his dad opted not to give it to him until he is fully recovered. Unfortunately al Netto had in his mind was getting revenge, thus all he could think about is himself and nothing else.

Then he saw Narcy emerging from one of the beauty shops after removing his disguise and didn't notice the 14-year old Net Saver watching close by, and though emotionally in turmoil it didn't a few seconds for the brown-haired teen to deduce who sent the "rape" scene footages on TV and guessed that Videotape Man was behind this.

"Narcy…I'll kill you…but first I kill Inukai and his Darkloid cronies…you won't escape my wrath…I swear I won't leave until I kill you all…for the humiliation you put me through…mark my words…I will make sure no one saves you…I won't let you escape by going to jail…I will kill you with my bare hands…"

A bit short but full of tension...and this is where Netto's quest of revenge commences...

As Enzan and the gang searches for their brown-haired friend, Plant Man shows up unexpectedly to lend a hand to help find him while revealing how the Vent Fusion chip was made in the first place, and gives Dr. Hikari a chance to help sway his son back to reason.

Meanwhile, Netto gets to initiate Vent Fusion for the first time despite not having a Navi partner and gets a makeover which I promise you'll be surprised.
