Now the REAL frame-up commences and this time the gang gets into trouble as one by one they're being incriminated into a situation where they couldn't "alibi" their way out…and another villain shows up.

Ch. 18: Furēmuappu part 4
The next morning, a knock on the door was heard from the rented cabin where Netto and Meiru are staying, and when she answered it, she was greeted by the resort owner with an angry face and several policemen, among them Detective Sudo.
"Meiru Sakurai…you're under arrest for robbery with serious physical injury…"
"Wh…wha…what are you…"
"You have the right to remain silent…"
"There must be some mistake…!"
"Men…take her."
"Wait! Stop!"
"Anything can and will be used against you…"
"Where's your warrant?"
The policemen began handcuffing her and Netto was aroused from his sleep after hearing the noises and saw this but Sudo stood in front of him as he explained to him what is happening.
"No way! Meiru's been with me the whole night! How can that happen?"
"Care to look at the evidence? Maybe this will make you think twice of having a girlfriend…"
"Hey! Watch your tone!"
"Your girlfriend is a suspect…"
"What proof do you have?"
"Right here."
"Let me see!"
"Here you go…"
At the close-circuit TV at the security house, the footage showed that Meiru stabbed the guard on duty and made off with the loot, which surprised him a lot. As if he knew where to find, Sudo lifted the mattress of the bed and the loot is there…paper money amounting to almost a million Yen. Then other tourists came and claimed that even their belongings are stolen and found it on Netto's rented bed and began accusing him for robbery.
"So…even a 14-year old is capable of this…take him in…"
Despite protesting, Netto was nailed to the ground with excessive force while the victims didn't not seem to mind seeing this as they only cared about their belongings getting it back and they believed that the suspects' treatments at the hands of the police are just as they have hatred towards young thieves and both the teens were taken away by the police.
Jasmine, who got up early, saw this and alerted the rest of the gang and soon they all arrived to see Netto being thrown inside the police van, bruises on his face, along with Meiru. Mariko went to Sudo asking them to release them but Sudo relented, stating that they rather go to the police station and file a motion, and then left.

At the Net Police HQ, The commander immediately called Dr. Hikari after being informed by Enzan about the situation and in turn Dr. Hikari went to Yokohama to see that his son gets legal representation with Meijn coming along, intending to get all the info needed to find a way to clear Netto and Meiru's names. He refused to believe what he was told and immediately knew that they were set upped.
"Dr. Hikari…I definitely believe that someone framed them. There's no way those two would commit something like that. We'd better use our resources and…"
"I agree. The rest are now doing what they can, and they too know that something isn't right."
"Something is amiss here…"
"My son would not do anything like that…and even Meiru is dragged in."
"What do you think?"
"Someone is behind this…I am sure."
"We better make our move."
"Right."
The two adults then drove towards Yokohama along with Raika when Volcancer showed up and halted the vehicle with pure force. The three managed to get out of the car before it was wrecked like a compressed junk, but as the crab-Darkloid scoots closer Meijin called HQ to activate the dimensional converter and in a few minutes it was activated, allowing Raika to summon Search Man and the Navi began to fight Volcancer, but the fight isn't easy given the Darkloid's tough skin and shell, and managed to used its pincers to damage the navi's weapon and arm before tossing it aside and then caught Meijin and Dr. Hikari by their legs, snapping them which caused the two to get fractures.
"AAARRRHHH!"
"AAAAHHH!"
"Meijin!"
"Hang…in there…Dr. Hikari!"
"C-can't…!"
"Almost…there!"
"Meijin!"
"I'm coming!"
Raika grabbed a weapon and fired at the Darkloid on the eyes, which momentarily blinded the enemy, and is forced to retreat after managing to stall the targets.
Seeing this Volcancer "logged out", and Search Man recovered but was unable to pursue it and soon the dimensional converter is deactivated and ambulances arrived. Raika then started to see a pattern of conspiracy as what happened just now is no coincidence.
"Netto and Meiru framed…then this Darkloid stopped us from going to Yokohama…indeed someone set this up and wants us to stay out…better inform Enzan about this…"

At the police station, Enzan got a call from Rockman and Blues about what happened to Dr. Hikari and Meijin and he decided not to tell Netto for now as he wanted him to focus on how to get out and find the culprit, and upon seeing him at the visitor's lounge he was worried to see more bruises on his face, indicating that the interrogation was near brutal.
"The cops beat me up so bad just to make me admit that I committed the robbery with Meiru…but I didn't do it…honestly I didn't…Meiru…how is she…?"
"We don't know yet…"
"Huh?"
"They would not let us see her…"
"What? Why?"
"I think that…"
"Meiru-chan…I got to…!"
"Calm down, Netto…"
At this point, Sudo came and was holding a video tape in his hands and is rather smirking at the two boys. With him was the ambassador to Denmark and he immediately slapped Netto very hard on the face with force that sent the 14-year old against the wall, his lips busted.
"You murdering pervert! I'll make sure you get the death penalty! You raped, sodomized my daughter and killed her! You'll pay! I'll make sure you stay incarcerated forever!"
As the rest of the guards pacified the enraged ambassador, Sudo played the tape, which showed the "evidence" which shocked both Netto and Enzan. The footage showed that "Netto" slightly drugged the daughter of the Danish Ambassador, who happened to be at the Yokohama Beach Resort, and took her to an unmanned area where the CCTV is playing, and it showed "Netto" raping her, then sodomized her before tying her up against a tree and gagged her. "Netto" then took a knife and slowly cut off her breasts and slowly inserted her vagina with the knife, and blood spilled all over the sandy ground, and with her mouth gagged, all she could do is sob meekly before he slit her throat until she slowly died from the wound as her throat is connected to her neck and head.
Sudo discreetly taunted Netto and the 14-year old boy is staring in disbelief, as he knows that he did not do that.
"So then…"
"…"
"Is this enough for you to admit the crimes…?"
"No…I did not…"
"You can't lie your way out on this…"
"I did not do it!"
"YES you DID…"
"I did not!"
Enzan gritted his teeth as he knew that Netto is innocent and wanted to rebut but he has no concrete proof to rebut it as words aren't enough. Netto was horrified at the footage, and he knew that he was being framed by someone and shouted at the ambassador that someone else did it but Sudo cruelly rebutted that his being sodomized by Inukai made him a sadistic maniac and this caused Netto to lose his bearings and punched the detective on the face. As the other guards restrained him, Enzan glanced at the tape and asked Sudo if he can take it for examination.
"No way…you'll just tamper it and this is the only evidence we got…and the answer is no. That brat deserved it. His greed for money and his PEE-PEE wanting more…that what made him he is today…a maniac. Excuse me…I have a criminal to prosecute."
"Then can you at least produce a copy so that I could…"
"No is no."
"How come?"
"Why? Are you his lawyer?"
"No…"
"Then get lost."
"…"
At the other cell, Meiru was quite distressed, as she wondered how to get out and clear her name, knowing someone disguised as her and committed the crimes yet she doesn't know how to get out or hatch a plan. She was also worried about Netto and how is he taking this situation as he too is being set upped. Another thing she's thinking is her parents. They're worried as she deduced that they got the news and are on their way here.
Meanwhile, Yaito instructed Anetta, Dekao, Tohru and Shuuko to look for clues at the resort and find something that would be used as evidence to help clear their names. She also told them to be careful as she assumed that the suspect seemingly knows Netto and Meiru and would probably go after them as well.
"Okay…be careful…we need to find proof that Netto and Meiru are innocent…and expose the culprit!"
"Right!"
"Yeah!"
"We'll find proof!"
"We got to save Netto and Meiru!"
"And expose the fiend!"
"Good! Then let us start!"
"Right on!"
After that they all head back to the resort to start their search.

At a corporate building, a businessman was sipping coffee at his cup and placed it on his table. After his secretary told him the current events he instructed her to leave and make sure he is not disturbed and call him only if there are any visitors. As he is left alone at his office room he turned on the TV and watched the news about Netto being implicated on the rape-murder of the Danish Ambassador's daughter and the robbery homicide involving Meiru.
"Ah…looks like Sudo's plan is working perfectly than I expected…"
Then a transparent-like silhouette materialized from the wall and it showed "Netto" approaching and bowed to the businessman, who is named Itsuro Takamizawa. Takamizawa bowed in return and began his inquiries on the "visitor".
"Did you do what you were told?"
"Yes, master…Sudo's plan worked…Hikari and Sakurai can no longer get out. With the charges lobbied against them bail is impossible, and Volcancer injured the elder Hikari and another from the Net police force."
"Good. Now we up the ante a little further…ready for another assignment…Chameleon Man?"
"As you command, master…"
"Excellent. We should keep this up so that the public opinion against Netto will be stronger."
"And he will have no chance of clearing his name."
"Yes. Now it is time. We commence the next stage."
"Yes, master."
And "Netto" changed form, revealing his true appearance as Chameleon Man, a Darkloid with a humanoid appearance of a chameleon. Meanwhile Takamizawa took out something from his desk and it was a PET-like device with a battle chip with a symbol of a chameleon engraved and is looking at the window, wondering when he'll use it for the first time.
"Good. Now is the right time to proceed to our next plan …ready for another assignment…Chameleon Man?"
"As you command, master…"
"Good."
"When do we begin?"
"Right away."
"Then we shall get to work."
"Yes. Do it."
"At once."

Two weeks later, Netto is slated to be tried at court for the trial where he will be tried for murder involving the Danish Ambassador's daughter who died at the hands of "Netto" and it will be under tight security. This didn't look good for our hero as he is placed in heavy security ward. Fortunately he is isolated as to prevent getting mauled by some of the inmates who are also stationed there. Surprisingly some of the inmates are good-hearted and have no intention of mauling Netto because of the doubts they have about the news they heard and could not believe and accept about what "he" just did to the ambassador's child.
They assured to Netto that they are sure that someone else did this as they believe that Netto would never do anything LIKE THAT.
"Netto Hikari…"
"I don't think he would do that…"
"Me too…I think it was someone else…"
"Yeah…he got MOLESTED by Inukai's robot beasts…"
"I think the kid's got framed…"
"I hope that kid clear his name…"
"Me too…"
"…"
While one night, before the scheduled trial, Netto was sitting on his bed, in a state of depression as he has been in jail for nearly two weeks with no one seeing him due to security reasons. Neither his parents or his friends were allowed to see him due to Sudo's recommendations and the ambassador's insistence that he might pull an escape attempt.
With no one looking at the control room where the CCTV is connected to Netto's cell, due to a negligence on the watcher, no one noticed that Chameleon Man and his Navi master, a man in a Cross Fusion armor almost resembling Chameleon Man, "phased" through the wall and knocked the REAL Netto unconscious, and Chameleon Man took the hapless 14-year old boy away while the other person, who now identified as Verde Man, took out a battle Chip in inserted it on his Chip reader, affixed on his left thigh which resembled a chameleon's head. The chip was then affixed on a clip that resembled a chameleon's tongue with a wire which seem to mimic a chameleon eating its prey using its prehensile tongue.
"Battle Chip…Copy Vent…slot in!"
In doing so, Verde Man now took the appearance of "Netto" and took the real one's place and waited for the day of the trial while the real Netto us taken away secretly. As the negligent watcher looked back at the CCTV, he didn't see the changes and went back to watching TV. Meanwhile Chameleon Man tied up the real Netto and strapped him in an oxygen mask strapped in a vest with a sleeping gas to keep him from waking up.
Outside the police station, The Darkloid "phase" inside the car with Netto with Sudo in the driver's seat, smiling as the plan went on smoothly without a hitch.
