Chapter twenty

" ah! So Yi Jeong?" The girl gave out a gasp in pure amusement. "So... hurabeujji was right.." she nodded appreciating herself.

"Mwo?" Yi Jeong asked, knowing the answer yet plastering a smile on his face to show his amusement

"Chu Ga Eul... was your lover after all... wasn't she?"

"Mmhm." Yi Jeong nodded , " and she still is." Smiling wider at his fiancé. " but one thing about hurabeujji was definitely right.."

"Mwo?"

"His choice as a grand daughter- in-law, tsk.. she's quite hard to deal.."

The girl chuckled in return, as Yi Jeong seated himself on the vast couch without being ushered into. He looked around as if searching for someone,

"Bumonim..?"

"Eh?"

"Ji Ah agashshi, where's your parents?"

"Ah..." the girl pouted, " I thought.. Jeong shshi, had come to take me for a date..."

Yi Jeon chuckled for the comment, then thanked the maid who served him tea, and waited till the couple to arrive.

"Oh.. look who's here?" Mr. Lee chuckled entering the hall and was greeted by Yi Jeong with a bow. The couple sat across the little coffee table before Mrs. Lee dismissed her daughter who ran to her room to get dressed for her first date with her fiancé.

"so.. has Yi Jeon shshi, come to take uri Ji Ah for a date?" the lady asked with a smile.

Yi Jeong returning the smile placed the tea cup on the coffee table. " Ani.. I came to talk with both of you..."

The couple exchanged a look and then the lady again forced a smile.

"W-Well then .. go on.."

Yi Jeon smirked at their confused expression," Ji Ah...ah..." he searched for the words. " She's definitely a beautiful woman .. lovable.. as of course, once she had been.."

The couple became uneasy for the compliment but nonetheless Yi Jeong continued.

" She could have probably been my type.."

"Your type?"

"Hmm.." he nodded. " the smart, pretty faced and of course.." he smirked " the nice body..."

It was not that he could not sense the man's rage increasing every moment, or the woman's hand resting on his, to help him cool down his temper. Speaking of the truth it was what he had wanted in the first place.

"If I had met Ji Ah before I met her, I would have surely agreed for this marriage.."

"Her?" Mr. Lee raised an eyebrow.

"Do.. Do you have a lover?" it was his wife.

"Hmm.." Yi Jeong chuckled. " it is not that I care about marrying someone who had spread her legs for one of their family drivers_"

"_You! Who do you think you are talking to?" The man's eyeballs were blazing with the flames of anger.

"Ani.." Yi Jeong smirked. " I am not someone to talk about virginity am I ?.."

He continued with his expression grown more serious.

"That was the same reason that you thought of proposing your daughter to me isn't it?"

The man's fists were clutching tight, as if they were ready to punch that perfect face, flat, in any coming moment.

" But.. take this as a warning, I am not that kind to hang on to those hopeless cases like your daughter..."

"Wha_"

"_ maybe twice.. ani once would be enough ..." he smirked.

"How dare you_" the man was about to punch him into a bloody pulp if not for his wife had held him firm.

"So, that I am telling... it is better for both of us, if you would call off this engagement..."

The straightforward declaration surprised and made them take back a step.

Yi Jeong let out a final smirk looking at the girl who had come down stairs, all dressed up for her date.

"After all... an apple does not fall far from its tree..." and left the premises, without sparing another glance at its residents.

...

...

...

".. Hurabeujji.. wouldn't he know that we are ... _"

"_ tsk.. don't worry..." he smiled and gave a squeeze on her hand sparing his eyes for a moment from the road. " He'd be busy for this morning..."

Ga Eul wasn't appreciating the way he smirked.

" Sunbae... what did you do?"

"Ah.. just nothing... than that I came to an agreement with Ji Ah's parents.."

"An agreement?"

"Hmm.."

Ga Eul went thoughtful, wondering what kind of an agreement that it could have been.

"Tsk .. forget it.. don't we have better things to worry about now?" he glanced at Ga Eul, before placing a kiss on her cheek.

"Sunbae.."

"Waeyo?" Yi Jeong chuckled, turning the car to the parking lot of the Seoul City Hall.

He got out from the car and held the door open for Ga Eul.

"Shall we?" and offered his arm, which Ga Eul took, with a smile.

They entered the gu-cheong and went as guided by his lawyer. There was Song Woo Bin, Ha Jaegyeong, Yoon Jihoo and Oh Hani, waiting for them, who flashed a smile at the arriving couple.

"haven't Junpyo arrived yet?"

"Ani.. he said that they are on the way.." Jihoo answered.

"They?"

"Hmm." Woo Bin nodded. "Ga Eulyang, you.. are not planning to have your wedding without Jandi? Are you?"

"oh! How can she?... Jandi, Hani and I are going to be her bridesmaids ..." Jaegyeong gathered the three girls into a bear hug.

"Aish .. when they told it is So Yi Jeong's wedding, people would expect a lot more than this..." the complain turned them to face at Junpyo who had just entered the room.

"The bride isn't even dressed in a wedding gown.." he received a glare for that while Ga Eul chuckled uncomfortably.

"Hurry up.." he continued in a careless tone. " the cars are waiting outside."

Yi Jeong glanced at his four friends confused.

"We are going to kidnap the two of you"

"mwo?"Yi Jeong and Ga Eul shared a look with a smile.

"Palli..."Woo Bin caught him from the shoulder pushing him out as Jaegyeong and Jandi caught Ga Eul from each of her arms.

"Isn't it a shame to let So Yi Jeong's wedding to be held in such a pity way?" Junpyo laughed out dismissing the lawyer after giving him the necessary advices and following the couple who had been dragged out of the courthouse.

The cars drove to a five star hotel, and the bride and the groom was again dragged out from the vehicles to two separate rooms in order to get them dressed up.

"Agh.. we don't have much time for these... Hurabeujji will come to know any moment right now and_"

"_Agh! Stop that whimpering.. you can pay me back after the honeymoon.." Junpyo yelled out pushing him while the other two were dragging him through the corridor.

"Ah.. this is how exactly I have imagined your wedding day would be.." Woo Bin exclaimed, pushing him to the chair so his hair could be treated first.

"What does that supposed to mean?" Yi Jeong shot him a look while a hair dryer was blowing his hair in its wind.

"Dragging you out as a dog being dragged to a bath.."Jihoo commented.

"Mwo?" he glared. "ah! Get lost.. all of you!" and tossed a tub of facial scrub at his giggling friends.

"Palli... hurabeujji could come here any moment now.." Woo Bin added in a teasing tone as Junpyo snorted.

"Aish.. you guys.. " Yi Jeong chuckled, blushing, in-part for the embarrassment caused by the never ending teasing and in-part because of the slightest of anger as for not giving him any idea about their plan, and in-part, of course, because he had no idea what to do otherwise.

And not so far away from the boys' room, the girls were gathered in another, where Jaegyeong had managed to call for whole store of wedding dresses so she and Hani could busy themselves for complete two hours choosing a dress for Ga Eul while Jandi sat with her till her hair and makeup was done.

"Ga Eulah... are you sure about this?" She asked looking at the image on the mirror, not directly meeting her eyes.

Ga Eul kept silent.

"Byeong Hun samchan can be really strict sometimes... Ga Eul ah... aren't you afraid what your appa might do?"

Ga Eul sighed, but smiled looking at the confused Jandi. " To tell you the truth... I am.. but, I am left with nothing to do.."

"Y-You.. could,"

"Ani.. if we would choose to wait this time, we would probably lose everything... Jandiya.. it's better this way than regretting it.."

"b-but_"

"_After all... it was appa who taught me about soulmates in the first place... even if he won't accept us straight away.. he will do, one day.. till then.."

And Jandi was left without words, seeing that confidence in her words and eyes.

And the last thing they had expected for that day was that Master of the porridge shop showing up at the function, Who volunteered to walk the bride down the aisle. It was later known that it was his well wishes for both of them, and Yi Jeong was least expecting for Ga Eul to whisper him in the ear that it was for him that the Master had feelings for. He was unable to hold his blush and many others might have misunderstood that, and pity for him it would be more embarrassing, explaining them the real reason though. It appeared that his moments-away -from-being the wife had her own ways when it comes to making him uneasy.

He csmiled as the wedding vows were said and chuckled as the rings were exchanged. As the papers were signed beforehand , as Junpyo and Jandi as the two witnesses, when the lawyer had brought the necessary documents for the cause. It appeared that the event was well planned after all ; the documents and the legal requirements by Yi Jeong and this little surprise ceremony by the rest of the F4, as Junpyo having a major portion on planning it. It was named as his return gift for So Yi Jeong and Chu Ga Eul, who had helped a lot in his own happily ever after, though it was through them that the couple had originally met and fallen in love.

Though first hesitantly aparting with a chuckle as for the heavy atmosphere of silence and all the few pairs of eyes staring at them in pure anticipation, the couple kissed at last in their third attempt; a tender yet long and passionate one, as Woo Bin exclaimed,

"So.. it appears.. that the Casanova has eloped with the country bumpkin.. " for which again, the hall filled with laughter.

It was one of the happies mornings of their lives indeed, though the evening grew more contradictory for it. The first sign of its unhappiness came when his now 'ex' fiancé showed up at the end of the ceremony with a plastered grin. Her eyes were burning with rage for all the insults she had heard the morning, and gleaned with jealousy as seen his bride and regretting for not being able to come before to stand an objection for their little fantasy.

"So this was the reason behind all of that drama ?" she scoffed, disgustingly eyeing at Ga Eul while all the others except Yi Jeong remained silent having no idea about what she was referring to.

Yi Jeon smirked. "I thought Ji Ah agashshi, would figure it out sooner...oh! But ye it is better that it has delayed after all..." she glared and turned at the horribly confused Ga Eul.

"You!" She raised her hand to slap her in face but stopped by Yi Jeong who received a slap instead from her other hand.

He chuckled again looking at the trail which she went, before looking at Ga Eul and placing an assuring kiss on her cheek.

"Whoah man... " woo Bin gasped. " What did you do ?"

Yi Jeon just smirked in answering.

"See? You were so lucky to have a fiancé like me!" Jaegyeong punched Junpyo on the shoulder, easing the tensed atmosphere for a bit.

Yet the tension reached its peak when the couple was standing in front of the little metal and wooden gate, hand in hand, taking long breaths before opening the gate and entering the little illuminated house.

They choose to visit Ga Eul's parents alone together, leaving the company at Gu residence, waiting for them to return.

Ga Eul took a final deep breath and opened the gate.

The small dining was untidy with all the boxes around, some being packed with ceramics or household items. After all, their house shifting process was evident in every corner of that room.

"I told you not to be late, didn't .."her mother paused in mid sentence seeing the person who entered behind her. The elegant posture, the sharp features and the hesitant but dashing smile; she cannot be mistaken, when she recognized the young man as none other than So Yi Jeong. She went dumb, and spared a glance at her husband before looking at their daughter.

As for the formalities and the good manners, the Chus had always respected, they were ushered to a seat, to sit across her parents at the low table under the yellowish light. The room was dead silent for a moment there, as even the sound of a needle falling onto a pillow could be heard from seven miles afar.

"Married.. you said?"

The younger couple nodded together. "Ye .. appa.." and Ga Eul placed the filing receipt that shows that their marriage has been accepted. Her mother has gone stiff, couldn't tell if it was for the shock or for the fear, while her father swallowed and sighed before taking the piece of paper, studying it. He placed it back and slid it near them with the same movements how Ga Eul had done, And simply stood up with a grunt, silently turning back heading to their room.

"Appa?" it was a squeak.

The man sighed, " Then it appears, that I have no choice but consider that uri Dadl has died."

Yi Jeong's eyes widened, it was the last thing that he expected; Mr. Chu the ever loving father abandoning his daughter.

"APPA!" Ga Eul stood up abruptly, breaking into tears. " What do you think? That I wanted a wedding like this? Ani I wanted to get married with all of your blessings! But did you ever listen to me ? Have you even once let me explain? Ani .. you don't ! You only care about the way you see things! Do you ever give a chance for the other's opinion_"

Yi Jeong stood with her, " Ga Eul enough, let's go, or you'll regret telling those things..." he tried to calm her down but she continued nonetheless. Even though her father had already retreated back to his room.

" You always made me do the things that You thought that it was right.. but never let me explain anything ! Aren't you the one who taught me about the soulmates? Then why did you simply rejected him without even giving us a chance? I thought appa would understand.. even if no one else did_"

And ultimately her yelling was stopped with a slap on her face.

" You! Y-you don't understand it when told nicely do you?" Yi Jeong was taken back for her mother's unpredictable act. " look around you! Look at this house, everything, .. do you see this as a mansion? And look at you! Who do you think you are? A celebrity model?" she smirked. " Why in the world does he have to hang around with someone like you? What would it make him stay with you, when he becomes bored from you? Your money? Your fame? GA EUL!" she caught her from the shoulders and shook her wildly, " YOU HAVE GOT NOTHING!" and ultimately pushed her back. "what do you think? Those sweet talks and wide grins will last forever? Ani! Anniyo! He'll take what he needs and throw you away, as if he's throwing out garbage! HE'LL LEAVE YOU! HE'LL TAKE WHAT HE NEEDS AND LEAVE YOU!" the woman fell to the ground with a loud thud and broke into tears. " Stupid soulmates! COME OUT FROM THOSE FANTASIES AT LEAST NOW! The world is not what it seems! It's so cruel than you think... how can a spoiled chaebol_ ani a Womanizer! How can a playboy like him know the sacrifices for love? They know how to flirt but not how to love! It's a mere pleasure that he needs from you not anything else! don't you even understand that!!!" She was now wailing in the arms of her mother-in-law.

"Omma.." Ga Eul tried to reach her hand but she jerked and push her away.

"You! Y-You silly child! Don't you ever call me omma!" and again buried her head in Huramoni's chest.

"And YOU!" but spared a glare at Yi Jeong. "You THIEF! You destroyed my innocent child! DON'T YOU EVER COME IN FRONT OF MY EYES! "

"Omma.." Ga Eul again tried to reach her, but again her hand was jerked away.

Huramoni let out a sigh, patting on the shoulder of the wailing mother, and looked up at the young man standing in front of them.

"So Yi Jeong shshi, you'd better take your wife away." And told emphasising the word 'wife'.

...

...

...

Woo Bin let out a final sigh, at the end of the story as Jihoo leaned back on his chair while all the others remained silent and dumbfounded.

" I told you that I have got a bad feeling about this..." Jandi spoke out after a while.

"Then you should have told that before !" Junpyo casually snapped back receiving a hiss from his wife.

The others chuckled slightly seeing the couple arguing even in the most tensed of the atmosphere. But it was only the slightest of smiles that drew on Yi Jeong's face.

"Yi Jeong sunbae," Jandi called out. " I sure will kill you if you'd even dare to look at another woman than Ga Eul.."

Yi Jeon chuckled the slightest of chuckles for that.

"Nado!" Woo Bin raised his hand. " I too won't let him go that easily if he'd do. Geum Jandi, if you'd need any help, " he made a gesture." Call me, in that case."

"Does he look like he could leave her?" Jihoo smiled, looking at the newly wed couple. Ga Eul's head was resting on his chest while her hair had curtained her face. Yi Jeong had gone one of his arms around her shoulder, while his hand rested on her hair stroking it as an act of soothing her sobs. With the comments, though unknowingly, he had pulled her even closer to himself.

The three boys shared a smile seeing them as Jaegyeong came announcing that the dinner was ready.

With two finger, Yi Jeong lifted the hair which curtained her face.

"Oh! Has she already fallen asleep?" Woo Bin gasped.

Yi Jeong smiled and glanced at the all the others-which included everyone presented at his wedding except for Hani and Master who had left before they had come as for the night fall.

"Its now that she had ended crying.." and sighed. " it's better if we won't wake her up, or she would start crying again..."

"Shall we bring you something to eat? It has been a long day.."

"Anniyo I am fine..." he smiled. " Gumao, for all of you, for everything..." he thanked in a weary voice.

"Tsk.. you rascal.." Junpyo gave a friendly pat on his shoulder, as Woo Bin casually switched off the lights, when leaving the room.

His friend's gesture made him smile, when grabbing a blanket to cover his wife, who had fallen asleep on him.

He chuckled at the thought that Ga Eulyang has now become his wife, while embracing her tighter, and placing his chin on her hair letting himself fall asleep.

Before that, of course, he swore to himself that no matter what the future might bring, he would never leave his wife.

As for the weariness, he soon fell asleep and the night seemed short, as from a blink the sun was lit.

He wiped the sleepiness out from his eyes and yawned, before looking at his wife. Ga Eul had already woken up and was staring at an envelope which sat on the table in front of the sofa that they had fallen asleep.

" What is this?" he took the envelope with a quizzical look.

"E-Eh?" Ga Eul had already blushed into a darker shade of pink.

He opened the envelope and took out a little pink card.

So Yi Jeong,

You didn't think that we were done with you , did you?

Better wait till Hurabeujji would calm down... till then, you can enjoy your honeymoon..

He smirked, taking out the two tickets to Paris. It was as if he could imagine the grin playing on Woo Bin and Jihoo and Junpyo's faces when they were writing that.

"Do you want to go?" it was with a chuckle that he turned at his crimson-coloured wife.

"E-Eh?"

AN:

First of all I must say, that I got a lot of confused after studying about the legal requirements for Korean marriage. If there's any false detail regarding it, please discard it. And I don't know the right order of the marriage rituals either, just imagined them( hahaha).

I hope you won't have any hard feelings about Ga Eul's parents, that's the most logical way I thought they would react for the news :D

And about my other story, ' lead me out to the light' , I am hoping to update it soon ( the chapter is almost half written by now) :)

So, any reviews?
