Evelyn and Sicomba flopped down on a couch in the Plaza hotel, their entire bodies aching and sore to the bone. Evelyn had a nasty gash on her cheek and Sicomba had bruises all over, but they were more or less fine. A couple minutes later Elizabeth and Dalia, both with a number of cuts, came and sat down across from them.

"Hey." Evelyn groaned.

Elizabeth looked at them.

"What happened to you guys?" she asked them.

"Willamsburg Bridge… minotaur, losing, Percy, Kronos, boom." Sicomba said tiredly.

"Er… what?" Elizabeth asked.

Evelyn sighed.

"We were at Williamsburg Bridge fighting an army led by the Minotaur and we were doing a great job of losing but then Percy showed up and totally defeated most of the opposing army and the Minotaur, but then Kronos showed up and the bridge went boom."

"Ohhhhh." Elizabeth said.

Evelyn and Sicomba nodded and the four of them sat there in silence for a moment.

"Hey Liz… what was that Plan whatever Annabeth was talking about?" Evelyn asked, remembering what Annabeth had said about activating something.

"Oh! Most of the statues in Manhattan can be activated, and hopefully they'll become an army." Elizabeth said.

Evelyn stared at her.

"Moving statues… in Manhattan… Dear God."

"What?" Elizabeth asked.

"Nothing… but if any of those statues are angels, I'm going to die."

The others laughed (which hurt enormously) and suddenly Mary ran over, slightly out of breath.

"Hey Mary, what's up?" Dalia asked her.

"It's… it's Louise." She said breathlessly. Evelyn stared at Sicomba with wide eyes and he jumped up, looking worried.

"Where?" he said sharply. Mary pointed to a bedroom door and Sicomba disappeared behind it. The others looked at each other with worry.

"Should we…" Elizabeth asked, but Evelyn stopped her.

"No. Give them a while."

And so they waited… and they waited… and they waited and finally (after waiting a little more) Sicomba came back out and sat next to them. None of them wanted to ask but the good thing was they didn't have to.

"She's fine. Stabbed in the gut, but she'll be fine." He said.

The others let out a sigh of relief.

"Well in that case," Evelyn said, "I am going to get some sleep."

The others nodded and Sicomba said 'hear hear'. They all went off, found some beds and fell asleep in seconds.

The rest of the war went by in a blur, and all Evelyn could really remember was blood, fighting, a drakon, and then suddenly, there was Nico with a freaking army of the dead, striding down the street like Kronos wasn't any match for him.

My best friend is so cool.

Then, Kronos had to go and wake up pretty much all of Manhattan and seal us off from him and Percy.

Not so cool.

Evelyn glanced at Nico, then at Jade who was only a few feet away. She didn't know where the others were, but she didn't have time to worry.

"SAVE THE CIVILIANS!" she yelled, running and cutting down the enemy as fast as she could.

Then, it was all blood, swords, and fighting to stay alive… again.

Oh, and hoping Percy was still alive.

OoOoOoOoOoO

Evelyn had no idea what was happening in the throne room until the sky turned blue. Then she knew, somehow, Percy was alive, and Kronos, somehow, was dead. She didn't care how. She only cared that it was true. She ran up to Nico and hugged him, just because at the moment, she needed to hug someone. After that, everyone ran to the Empire State Building. The minute Evelyn got to the throne room, she found Percy and ran up to him and hugged him. She didn't say anything. She didn't have to.

Evelyn got honored by my father later on for being a leader and killing a crap-load of monsters with her awesome powers (did I mention she did that? Well she did. Ask anyone).

Evelyn collapsed on the ground a couple days after the war, her sore muscles starting to loosen and her cuts mostly healed. A few minutes later, the whole old group was around her. Nico sat at her left, Sicomba next to him, then Louise(with a bandaged stomach), Amy, Elizabeth (with Sam next to her), Emerson, Mary, Dalia, Jade, and Sierra. There was a gap on Evelyn's right, where no one sat. She knew who should be there, and in her mind, he was.

"Well… interesting summer." Elizabeth commented, and all of them laughed, and couldn't stop, and no one really knew why.

"Yeah." Mary said, still chuckling, "a VERY interesting summer."

"I can't believe we made it through." Sierra said.

"Most of us did, anyway." Evelyn interjected.

"Oh, stop being so depressed!" Amy said, rolling her eyes.

"I'm just stating facts!" Evelyn argued with a laugh.

The dinner bell went off and everyone looked up, then stood up and walked to the pavilion, chattering and laughing and basically being happy they weren't dead.

Dinner was the first really happy one in a while, most of our wounds were healed, the dead were leaving our minds and the war was really over. Everyone laughed and ate happily… until the end of dinner, when Chiron got everyone's attention and said:

"We have decided that because of our recent victory," (this aroused some cheers), "we will be hosting a formal dance on the last day of summer!"

Everyone who had been involved in the 'Dalia and Travis wedding scandal' groaned, a few hit their heads against the table and Jade's voice rang out loudly:

"I have to wear a dress again?!"

Author's Note: Oh. My. God. I am a horrible writer. I just couldn't think of anything to write except: we killed stuff. NEVER LET ME WRITE A WAR AGAIN! Every time I sat down to write, my mind went blank and I literally couldn't type ANYTHING. I am SO SORRY IHAVENT UPDATED. I'll write the next chapter right now. And maybe the one after that. And I will update this weekend, maybe a few times, because I owe you guys. If you're still reading this story, I seriously love you. You are what I call LOYAL.
