I woke up in a firm bed and sighed. Opening my eyes I looked to the side and saw a cop talking to a doctor. When they saw me they came over and sat. The doctor spoke hesitantly.
"Young man, I don't know why, but we are not able to give you an iv." I blinked and looked to my arm as my memories returned. I was thrown through a portal by Kronos after I made the wrong choice.
"I am more concerned about why the hell he was found unconscious in the middle of central park." The doctor shook his head.
"Sorry sir, we had to call him when we found the knife cuts on your clothes. Can we have a name for your file?" I blinked and thought quickly, not wanting to be arrested.
"Um, I am not sure. My memory is kinda fuzzy." The doctor nodded with a deep sigh.
"I will check if we can figure stuff out for you." He left with a look to the cop, who narrowed his eyes.
"Why were there knife cuts on your shirt, and why is your skin too tough for a needle to get through?" I took a breath.
"Sorry sir, I don't know." He grumbled and left the room complaining under his breath. An hour or so later The doctor came back with a tablet.
"I am going to do some word association. Make sure to not think when you respond. I am going to try to trick your mind." I nodded and got ready.
I blinked at the doctor. He actually managed to trick me and got some information. He looked at me with a smirk.
"Took us ten minutes, but I think we can start looking you up. Your name is something close to Perseus, Jackson is a possible last name. You know more about New York than any other state so most likely live there. Your not very computer savvy, and you are good with ocean information. Your picture is already circulating." He handed me the tablet.
"Look up whatever you think about. Hopefully you find something to trigger your memory." He left and I shook my head. Hopefully Mom isn't accused of helping me and gets into trouble. Ten minutes later I had tears in my eyes. I had been in the news enough and small things were no longer existing. I am not in the same world. I ran to the bathroom and threw up. When I looked in the mirror I got an even stranger realization. I looked like I was in my 20s, and I had five o'clock shadow. I put the tablet to the side and shook my head. This is going to be strange to figure out.
Time Skip 2 years
I had been working my way up the Atlantic coast for the last two years since I arrived in this dimension. I now looked at the shimmering dome in front of my boat. Jumping off the boat and swimming up to it I took a breath and focused on figuring it out.
"A tasty human fell from his..." I sent an icicle through the sharks tail before it took off and shook my head. The aquatic life in this dimension is beyond annoying, and have no respect. Back to the barrier I felt no malice from the barrier so went back to the boat and set sail.
I will never not smile at the look on the faces of people as I drift a sailboat into port. I ran from bow to stern with a smirk on my face as the sail did as I wanted.
"Sir, that was an amazing feat. What brings you to our little town?" I smiled to the man and offered my hand.
"My name is Percy Jackson. I am traveling up the coast simply enjoying life before I find a place to settle." He smiled back.
"Your quite the sailor if this display was anything to go by." I smirked.
"Thank you sir. The last town I stopped at I sold some fish I caught. Would I be able to get a room somewhere in town for about 50 dollars a night?" He smiled. You want to head up to Granny's dinner. She has some rooms on top of her dinner." I nodded.
"Thank you, how much do I owe for tying up the boat?" He smirked.
"Some fish if you can manage it. I love the taste of fresh fish" I chuckled.
"Fair enough, I need to get a license though, what state are we in?" He smiled to me with a laugh.
"Storybrooke Maine." I blinked a few times before nodding.
"I have some flounder from New Hampshire this morning in the hold. Is that fresh enough until I get some rest?" He rubbed his hands together.
"Oh, yes that will work." I laughed and went back into the hold of the boat and got him the fish.
Line Break
I was getting stared at all along as I walked. Sitting at the counter of Granny's I smiled at the cute waitress.
"Hey beautiful, would I be correct in assuming you don't get a lot of visitors? Everyone stared at me all the way to here." She blushed and nodded.
"Yes, we are a very small, tight knit town." I nodded.
"Could I get a room for a few nights? I docked at the pier." She smiled.
"So your a sailor? What brought you here?" I smiled as she leaned against the counter.
"Well, I have the fun answer or the real answer. Which would you like?" An older lady came out from the kitchen.
"Ruby, stop the flirting and clean the tables." With a roll of her eyes she left the counter to help others as Granny came up to me.
"That is my Granddaughter, how long did you want the room for?" I blinked a few times.
"Ok, lets start with a week. I will let you know if I decide to stay longer." She nodded with a grumble.
"$300 for the week, you will be in room 2. Annoy the woman in room 1 and I will kick you out and keep the money. Understand?" I nodded.
"Understood Ma'am." She handed me the key as I gave her the money.
"What about some lunch?" She nodded.
"We are short on fish at the moment, but the burgers are on special." I smiled.
"Once you close tonight I would love to talk to you about the fish problem, but a burger sounds perfect for now." She looked at me funny, but nodded and went to the back.
Time skip
I woke up the next morning and walked past the beautiful blond from room number 1 and went to the ship. I had a deal to fulfill. As I began to sail away a voice made me jump.
"Your not from this dimension, or the one we are originally from." I froze and turned around to see a man in a suit with a walking stick, and hair to his shoulders. I narrowed my eyes at him.
"I have my Maine fishing Permit." He laughed before sitting down.
"My name is Mr. Gold. You are not from this dimension, and I am am also known as Rumpelstiltskin." I frowned.
"I remember that name. Something about weaving straw into gold… Mr. Gold." I shook my head and sat down before waving my hand as the sails adjusted themselves and I leaned back while he smiled.
"Well your not surprised so that means I need more information. What have I arrived into?" He smirked.
"I will help you find your way and understand our town, in exchange you will help me restore magic to it." I blinked.
"Nope, how about this, you explain to me how the Hades a fairy tale character showed up in the random dimension I found myself in." He smiled evilly.
"Our version of your fairy tales might be a bit different than your used to. I have a book back at my shop that should explain it all. For now simply know that I tricked the evil queen in enacting a curse to send us to this realm, to find someone once the curse was broken." I blinked a few times.
"Ok, crazy dude, what is the first step?" He smiled.
"You make nice with Emma Swan, the woman in room 1. She will mostly likely be kicked out of the bed and breakfast soon." I laid back.
"Why is that?"
"The evil queen has plans?" I nodded.
"And the Evil Queen is?" He smirked.
"The Mayor. Regina Mills." I shook my head and held out my arm as we sped up.
"I have a quota to fill of these damn rude ass fish." He laughed and stood up before turning around.
"I would suggest we go 16 degrees to port for a mile before going 43 degrees to starboard for another quarter mile. It is the ruins of Ariel's old home." I laughed and turned the boat.
"I really need this story." He smiled back at me.
"You have no idea."
Line break
I was walking up the stairs of the Bed and breakfast, journal under my arm of the real fairy tales.
"Let me guess the Mayor just called you to remind you of the rule." Granny hesitantly nodded. I rolled my eyes.
"The evil queen of the town strikes. I hear she does that a lot." Granny spun around with wide eyes.
"Percy, I..." I held up my hand while Emma looked at me funny.
"Don't worry, our deal still stands. I gave Ruby the fresh fish for the freezer on my way up." I narrowed my eyes at the blond while I thought about what Gold said. I tossed her the keys to the ship.
"The hold is big enough to use as a room and there is a cot against the wall. Hopefully you like boats." I began to walk to my room.
"Your not afraid of me stealing your boat?" I laughed as I unlocked my room.
"If you can get a sailboat moving alone without being on one all your life than you deserve it." She gave me a look before I smirked at Granny.
"Hey, think Ruby would want to get a drink with me later?" She glared and I jumped into my room laughing. When I was inside I pulled out the book and sat down in the chair. Opening it up I laughed.
"Hell yeah, ancient Greek. He is a great guy." I began to read the book.
Time Skip
I was walking into the shop with a glare on my face. Mr. Gold turned at the bell before he frowned.
"Your not happy." I narrowed my eyes.
"Your a fucking asshole. You promise happiness than back stab them all." He sighed before he nodded.
"I might have gone to far." I nodded.
"I will help you do what you came here for, but your going to talk to me before you make any deals, your also never going to lie to me." He nodded sadly.
"I will write up a contract for us to sign." I rolled my eyes, but nodded as well. Finally I sat down.
"Ok, so why are you so obsessed with babies? Just because you lost your son?" He took a deep breath.
"I will stop my backstabbing, if you you let me keep my secret about the babies." I took a deep breath and nodded.
"Fair enough, so the Emma from the story is the Emma who just got kicked out of the Bed and Breakfast." He nodded.
"The curse will be broken soon, than I will need to restore the magic so I can find my son." I nodded.
"I read about the history, now what about this town, what is the story here?" He sighed.
"The people were put into the job they were best suited for." I rolled my eyes.
"Right, so do you have a list, or do I need to simply observe?" He smiled.
"I will let you guess, but I can confirm things for you." I nodded.
"Granny what big eyes you have." He smirked.
"Is she the one who was eaten… right different story." I pulled out the journal and flipped the pages.
"Right, she hide that her grand...daughter… holy shit that hot waitress Ruby is the wolf?" He smiled and nodded.
"Yes it is quite the story, really." I shook my head.
"You realize how crazy this sounds, right?" He nodded.
"Almost as crazy as being a Demigod from a different dimension." I laughed as he joined me. I took a breath.
"What contracts are still in use?" He frowned at me.
"Hundreds actually. I wouldn't even know where to start." I face palmed.
"Let me know when one is close and I will start there. For now I am going to sign the contract for you than go and get some more fish." He nodded and began to write.
"Shall I write in in Greek?" I smirked.
"Please do."
Line break
I jumped onto the deck before hearing a scream. Emma appeared from the hold, rubbing her head.
"You realize your boat smells like fish right?" I smirked.
"You realize it is already 3pm and your still onboard right?" She rolled her eyes.
"You try sleeping with the ocean rocking you and the smell of fish." I smiled at her.
"I sleep on this ship 29 days out of 30 in a month." She gave me a look.
"Thought you were at Granny's for a week?" I laughed.
"I saved up some time. Last 6 months were all at sea." She smirked.
"So how do you sail by yourself anyway?" I smirked.
"By running really fast from bow to stern." She smirked.
"So you must not have a chance to get fat." I laughed.
"Is that your way of saying that I am attractive?" She smirked before shaking her head.
"I have a question actually. When you offered your ship as a room you called Regina the evil queen, why?" I smirked and sat down.
"Do you want the fun answer or the one based in reality?" She narrowed her eyes.
"Reality, than fun." I frowned.
"Your no fun. Ok so the reality is that she is the mayor of this town, however I have heard that she runs it like an evil queen." She sat on the edge of the ship and crossed her arms.
"I have been here longer than you, yet nobody seems to talk to me about that stuff." I laughed.
"Your also hanging out with the mayor's son, or your son from what I have heard." She glared at me.
"What's the fun answer." I smiled.
"Magic." She narrowed her eyes so I continued.
"Your son is pretty smart, and in reality, I don't run back and forth." I stood and looked around before holding up my hands and taking control of the boat as sails fell and ropes moved. Her eyes went wide as I chuckled and we headed out to sea and she dropped to her butt while taking deep breaths.
"Henry, he was right. What character are you?" I laughed.
"I am not from his stories. I come from a completely separate dimension. I am a son of Poseidon." She put her head between her knees.
"This can't be happening." I rolled my eyes.
"I was twelve when I found out who I was. I know what your feeling." She looked to me before turning around and puking over the side of the ship. I sighed.
"I have no idea about the people of the town, however I do know there is something strange about this place." She shook her head and ran into the hold while holding her stomach. I shook my head and continued on, after all I had work to do.
Line break
I was on my way in when Emma came back out of the hold.
"So it wasn't a bad dream?" I shook my head.
"No princess, sorry. If it is any consolation though, I can only confirm that I am a myth, not about anyone in the town." She shook her head.
"Not much, but if you didn't lie to me than I would feel a lot better." I blinked a few times.
"Lie?" She nodded.
"I can tell when people lie. it's a strange ability of mine." I nodded, thinking about what I can say to not lie and not give information.
"I found a storybook with strange versions of fairy tales. Kind of like the Grimm versions. I think I have identified four people so far. I plan to identify everyone I can, then move on. Should be fun." I smirked with a smile. She shook her head.
"Do you know about operation cobra?" I blinked a few times.
"Not a clue what your talking about. Should I?" She shook her head.
"No, it is something between Henry and I. Is it safe to be in the town?" I smiled at her.
"Course it is. Nobody has their magic in there yet. The curse needs to be broken first." She shook her head.
"I want to call you crazy. I really do." She took a deep breath. "Yet I am on a boat, that is sailing itself." I shook my head.
"No, I am telling it what to do. Think of it like a remote control. I tell the boat what to do and it does it." She laughed.
"You know what, I think I am going to stick with I am dreaming." She met my eyes as I smiled sadly at her.
"Where is your version of the book?" I laughed.
"Unless you know Greek, not sure if it will work for you." I said before taking it out and tossing it to her. As she flipped through it she chuckled and shook her head.
"No pictures to compare, instead it's a novel." I nodded.
"Can you help me move my fish to the hold? I didn't want to go past your room and we have another hour of sailing before I dock." She nodded with a smile.
"Sure, I can do that. Do you mind if I make a call first? Henry wanted me to meet him, but I am going to be late." I laughed.
"I will do it myself, you call your son." I willed water over the edge and had it pick up all the fish as her eye went wide. I laughed as I went to the bottom and stored the fish.
Line break
As I once again drifted into the dock I tied it up before smiling at the dock owner, a little boy and a cute black haired woman who I couldn't help but smile at.
"What do you have for the day?" I smiled at the dock manager.
"I caught a limit of Porgy, flounder, and 2 blue fin tuna. Yes I have the commercial license for those as well." He smiled.
"$5000, site unseen for everything." I smiled.
"$6000, and you unload everything." He blinked a few times.
"The tuna that big?" I nodded.
"One of them was 125 inches." He smiled.
"Deal." We shook hands before he went to write me a check. I turned to the two who were now looking at Emma.
"What do you mean you were kicked out?" She shook her head.
"There is apparently a no felons rule." The other woman frowned.
"But unless your convicted it doesn't matter." The boy frowned at me.
"Are you a pirate?" I smiled at him.
"I wish I was, no, just a fisherman, and no I am not in your book. Just got here 2 days ago." I walked away as the dock owner handed me an envelope.
"Emma, drinks on me tonight if your interested." She shook her head as I walked off.
Time Skip
Emma did not take my offer and I entered a routine of sleeping at Granny's, eating at Granny's, talking to Gold about identities, and going fishing. Today I arrived at Gold's place and he was going through his safe. He turned to me.
"Cinderella stole her contract. I have Emma getting my property." I narrowed my eyes.
"Isn't her contract for her first born child." He sighed and frowned to me.
"Maybe." I shook my head.
"Ok, time to make a deal with me than. How do I get control of the contract?" He sighed.
"She made the deal..." I held up my hand.
"She was emotional and you said you would get something at a later date. Next time specify child and I will not complain." He took a deep breath.
"Ok, lets make a deal." I nodded.
"What was your plan for the child anyway?" He took a breath before blinking.
"In this realm, I have no idea if I am being honest. In the old realm they were always in demand. With the medicine here, it isn't." He blinked and sat down.
"How did I not think of that?" I shrugged.
"Not sure, now what do you want here?" He thought for a moment before smirking.
"I would trade it to you for a favor at a later date." I shook my head.
"I will trade it for a service at a later date, not an object unless you specify it now." He smirked.
"You are smarter than you let on. Very well, a service."
"A legal service!" I said quickly. He cackled.
"I will write up the contract." I shook my head wondering how I get myself into these things.
Line break
"What the hell do you plan to do with a baby?" I heard as I drank a whiskey sour while Red Riding hood made goo goo eyes at me. Emma sat down across from me with a glare and Henry next to her. I raised an eyebrow.
"Sure you wanna talk about this in front of the kid?" She shook her head with a deep breath.
"How do I get this contract from you? It wont hold up in court anyway." I laughed and looked to Henry.
"I want photocopies of all the pictures in his book. Then since you plan to simply give her the baby anyway, I will burn this in front of you." I said holding up the rolled up contract. She raised an eyebrow.
"That simple?" I nodded as I took a long drink.
"That simple. I am more than willing to make a deal with anyone for goods or services. Let this be a beginning for my life here. I rather enjoy strait forward transactions." She leaned back before looking to Henry.
"What do you think kid? Can I borrow the book?" I held up a hand.
"Captions of who is in the photo as well." She rolled her eyes. Henry smiled.
"I like him, and you said he knows about the mayor being the evil queen." I rolled my eyes.
"Henry, you need to remember. When everyone came, she was still alone. She then decided that you deserved a happy ending. Cut her some slack, people can change." He narrowed his eyes and looked at the table. I rubbed the back of my head.
"Damn, whenever I get a kid to think I end up questioning myself. Emma did that sound right?" She shook her head.
"If this whole thing is true, than yes it sounded right." I nodded.
"Cool, Cinderella keeps her baby, and I get more information. I will expect the pages at my ship within 2 days." Emma blinked.
"I know I moved in with Mary, but I thought you were staying here?" I laughed.
"Out of time for the room and with how much I flirt with Ruby over meals." I shrugged. "Figured living somewhere else would be better." Henry smiled at me.
"Do you know who she is? I haven't figured that out yet." I smirked and looked to Emma.
"That would require another deal, and so far I don't need anything from you guys… Yet." I finished with a smirk before raising my arm up and meeting Ruby's eyes. She came over with a smile.
"Can I get you anything else?" I smiled widely.
"Not unless you reconsidered that drink I keep offering to buy you." She smiled.
"Percy, I told you before I don't want to upset Granny. And you even agreed to keep selling us cheap fish." I frowned.
"So I should cancel my deal so I can get a date with you?" She rolled her eyes and giggled.
"Granny wouldn't like that." I sighed.
"Fair enough." I took out some money.
"Keep the change beautiful." I stood and turned to Emma.
"2 days." I left the restaurant with a smile before I frowned.
"I need to get a car or something." I said as I began the annoying walk to my ship.
Line break
I walked into the pawnshop to the wide eyed Mr. Gold.
"I need something to drive." He smirked.
"So this is a normal pawn shop exchange?" I nodded.
"Yup, I got three grand I can get rid of at the moment without going under." He laughed.
"Follow me." I followed her around to the back.
"This thing is a hunk of junk." I said as he laughed.
"It is an old steam powered motorcycle. $500 and it's yours. I do have a gas one around here somewhere, but that will be almost $2000. I figured you could use the humidity for the steam." I shook my head.
"Lets take a look at the gas one. I am more worried about the efficiency than the convenience." He chuckled.
"$2200 and you can have both." He said as we walked over to another. I smiled at the nice cruiser style motorcycle.
"Deal." He nodded with a smile.
"Nice to do business with you." I laughed as I pulled out the money.
"So what are the chances the mayor comes after me soon for being a stranger?" He sighed.
"I am surprised it hasn't happened actually." I shrugged.
"Not in a rush, but I have a question about Ruby or Red." He nodded.
"What is that?" He asked as he finalized the transaction.
"Is there a true love in her story? I keep flirting with her, but with her as Red Riding Hood I started wondering if I should stop flirting." He chuckled.
"No, she ate her love, and hasn't found true love yet." I nodded as he handed me the title and bill of sale.
"Do you want to pursue her? I have a method of forcing it." I shook my head.
"Nah, I will figure it out later. Granny doesn't want her messing with my fish deliveries anyway." He nodded.
"Don't mix business and pleasure. Trust me." I smirked.
"I will take your word on that." He nodded before smiling at me.
"For another $500 I will register them and have it ready by dinner tomorrow." I frowned, but pulled out the money.
"Fair enough. I hate the DMV." He chuckled.
"Everything comes with a price." I rolled my eyes.
"Yes, I remember from your story. Start calling me Dearie though and you will regret it." He laughed at me.
"No problem Percy. I will get right on that and see you for lunch tomorrow." I nodded and headed out of the shop.
Time Skip
I was woken up by a pounding on my door. Opening it while drowsy I glared at Emma.
"I was enjoying my sleep." She narrowed her eyes.
"How did you sleep through an earthquake?" I shook my head.
"I live in a boat, you can't feel them unless it turns into a tidal wave, which I would I would sense." She shook her head.
"Fine. I have your pages though." I nodded and took them.
"Can I ask a question?" I raised an eyebrow.
"Sure, but why are you so worried about it?" She took a breath.
"Henry was crying because his therapist shattered his illusion about this place being..." I lifted water over my head.
"Reword it please." She gulped and nodded.
"Right, Dr. Hopper upset Henry because of the curse and the Mayor. Told him the book is completely fake. Can you talk to him for me?" I frowned.
"Henry, or Hopp… damn how did I not see that. Hopper is Jiminy Cricket." She chuckled, but nodded.
"That's what Henry says. Not sure about the human aspect though." I raised an eyebrow.
"I can sail with a wave of my hand, yet you question turning a talking cricket into a man?" She nodded.
"Right. Well still, can you talk to him?" I sighed.
"You want me to reveal my magic to him?' She nodded.
"Yes, I do, please?"
"What's in it for me?" She frowned.
"What do you want?" I smirked.
"For now, I am going to take a page out of a friends book. A favor." She narrowed her eyes.
"Deal." She held out a hand while I pulled out a contract from next to the door.
"My uncle taught me to always get it in writing." She rolled her eyes.
"Fine." I pulled out a pen and wrote 'reveal abilities' on the first line and 'A legal favor' on the next halfway down. I then signed the bottom and offered it to her. She glanced through it before she signed the bottom with a sigh.
"You didn't make me do that for the baby one." She said as she handed it back.
"Your right, but I held all the cards with that one." I replied with a wide smile. I took out the contract for the baby and began to look around for a lighter.
"I brought one." Emma said with a smirk before lighting the zippo. I smiled and lit the corner before dropping it to the ground as her eyes went wide and I made an ice fireplace around it so that it didn't burn my boat. The two of us watched as it burned.
"I will see the good cricket for dinner here. For now, I have fish I need to catch. I can feel something huge in the water about 2 miles out. I think the migration is headed by here." She nodded.
"Thank you. I will let him know to meet you here." I nodded as I walked up with her to the deck. I began to throw my hands around as the boat did as I wanted to prepare.
"See you later if you want to be here for the meeting, if not than I will see you tomorrow." She nodded but turned back before she left.
"How did you know about me wanting another favor?" I laughed.
"I asked for a stack of those contracts because I told you about how I plan to wrack up favors for my life here." She smirked and nodded.
"Fair enough." She walked away as I shook my head away from watching her ass sway, and headed out for the day, fish don't catch themselves after all.
Time skip
"Excuse me sir, would you be Percy?" I looked to the side as I tied up my boat. There was the glasses wearing, rescinding hairline, therapist. I smiled
"Yes I am, your Dr. Hopper right? Or should I say Jiminy Cricket?" I took in his clothing.
"Why are you so dirty?" He sighed.
"Sorry, I ended up in the mine. You see Henry thought that if I saw proof of his ideas." I held up a hand and rolled my eyes.
"Right well can't have dinner while you look like a mess." I summoned the water from around us as his eyes went wide. It rushed him as I took all the dirt and cleaned his clothing. When I pulled it away and he was completely clean and dry he dropped to his knees.
"Magic is..." He grabbed his head and screamed in pain. I summoned water to my hand and warmed it before putting my hands on the side of his head like a hot water bottle. Suddenly I froze. I could feel the block on his memories. I started to wrap my water around the block as it began to glow. Ignoring that for now I moved the water putting holes inside of it and expanding them. Finally when it was barely there, I released my control and took a step backwards.
"Hopefully th..." I fell to the dock as darkness consumed me.
Time Skip 3 weeks
I sat up with a start and looked around, quickly realizing that I was in a hospital. I yanked out my leads before Dr. Whale ran over.
"Percy, stop, stop. We need those to monitor you. You were out for three weeks. Dr. Hopper woke up after 12 hours and said he didn't know what happened. We need to make sure your ok." I sighed.
"Fine. But I don't want to be here longer than needed." He nodded.
"I just need to call your emergency contact and get a few nurses." I rolled my eyes.
"Whatever." He nodded and left to say something before he came back. When he began to check me over I simply sat back and thought about what happened. I drained myself to the point where I passed out.
Line break
"Please tell me you at least got something out of it?" I heard from Gold before he came around the curtain with a smile. I laughed.
"Got a favor owed me by Emma. What are you doing here?" He smiled.
"I am your emergency contact. I found you and Dr. Hopper on the pier." He looked to the right than left.
"I also had a conversation as he left your bedside. It seams his memories completely came back. How did you manage that?" I sighed.
"I found a barrier in his mind with my water abilities. I then ripped it to shreds. He also seamed to have a splitting headache when he saw me use the water." He nodded
"Very well. That seams to be quite the ability you have. It is almost a guarantee that you will be approached to get more memories back." I rolled my eyes.
"That is a really big ask knowing I will be in the hospital for a few weeks. Do me a favor, next time just push me into the water." He chuckled.
"Deal." Suddenly the clicking of heels rang out as we both turned to the hall as Regina Mills threw the curtain to the side.
"Who are you? First you show up and I tried to ignore you, even with you talking with him a lot." She said with a point to Gold, who chuckled.
"But I let it go because the fresh fish really helped my palette. Now my son's therapist remembers his time as a cricket and is threatening me with convincing Emma to go for custody of my son." She came closer and had her teeth grinding.
"I am going to ask one more time. Who are you?" I leaned in with a smirk.
"I am your worst enemy. I am a magical being who can leave the barrier whenever I want. I also have some people who owe me things. Your the evil queen who now has a child the same age as Snow was when she gained your hatred. Children make mistakes. Give it up, or I will reveal things to the entire town as fast as possible." She leaned back gasping like a fish. She then glared and took a step forward as I ripped my saline line out of my arm and pulled the water from the bag and held it around her throat as her eyes went wide in panic.
"Not so fast Mayor. Your not the only one in this town with power. Only I seem to be the one with physical power." She stumbled back as I released the water and drank it. I pulled out the leads as I sat up and went to stand. Dr. Whale came running back in.
"Percy, what are you doing? We aren't ready to..." I yelled at him.
"NO! I am walking out of this shit hospital. That fact that you immediately allow the mayor in to see me when she was not my emergency contact means I do not trust your safety. Even if it is against doctors orders." I stood up and began to walk away while I ignored the yelling doctor while I grabbed my clothes from the closet and put them on as I went.
Time Skip
I was drinking at Granny's as I tried to figure everything out.
"That was much more than I expected." I rolled my eyes as Emma sat down next to me.
"It was more than I expected to do." I took a long drink of my whiskey.
"With me ending up in the hospital for weeks than I guess you got the better end of that deal." She sighed.
"I guess so." She took a deep breath, but before she could speak I heard Henry from the other side.
"How can I get you to do the same for Grandma and Grandpa?" I blinked a few times.
"Your too young to sign a contract."
"I wouldn't let him anyway." I turned back to Emma before shacking my head and taking another long drink.
"Whatever, you have nothing I need and I enjoy being awake."
"How about halfway?" I gave her a look and really inspected her.
"Your sheriff now?" She took a deep breath.
"Yeah, you missed quite a bit." I nodded.
"What would halfway entail?" She took a deep breath.
"Dr. Hopper said that you used magic and gave him a headache by seeing it." I nodded.
"Yeah, I tried to help and that is when I passed out." She took a breath.
"Give me three days, and I want you to use it in front of four people." I blinked a few times.
"What do I get out of it?" She looked to Henry before he shrugged.
"Does this have anything to do with why Dr. Hopper called me Red instead of Ruby?" We all spun our head to see Ruby smiling at us from beyond the counter.
"Add me and Granny to seeing this, magic." She gave me a wide smile.
"And you get that date you asked for." I smiled.
"Well to be honest if their plan works your going to hate me. It should cause you a massive migraine." She frowned.
"Come now handsome, are you saying you don't want the date?" I smiled.
"I will see you tonight at 8pm. We will be going sailing, followed by a nice waterfront picnic." Emma held up a finger.
"Hold up." She gave me a smile.
"A friend told me to always get it in writing." I laughed as I nodded and pulled out my wallet before unfolding a contract. The three of them gave me a look. I smirked.
"Well she is right you know." I filled it out and handed it to her for her to sign.
"You can hold onto this since you get the better end of it." I looked to Ruby with a smile.
"Ok beautiful, I will see you tonight." I stood up and began to walk out before I stumbled a bit. Shaking my head I turned back.
"I meant to do that." Henry and Emma laughed to each other while Ruby batted her eyes with a giggle. Stepping outside I took out the keys for my bike before shaking my head.
"Nope, too drunk." I began the long walk to the docks.
3rd POV
Ruby walked into the police station early the next morning looking confused as Emma frowned.
"What did Percy do? I promise I can protect you if he..." Ruby shook her head.
"I think he is missing. I waited at the dinner till 8:15, then called him. This morning before my shift I went to his boat to complain. It looked like something was dragged out of the, hold, I think it is called." Emma nodded as she stood up and grabbed the keys.
"Ruby, go to the dinner and ask around please. I have a bad feeling about this." She nodded with wide eyes and left the station as Emma took out her phone.
"Hello?"
"Mr. Gold, I have a report from the hospital about an altercation where Percy left without Doctor permission. Now he is missing. You were there right?" There was silence for a while before she cleared her throat.
"Mr..." He cut her off.
"Your smart Ms. Swan. Call me Rumpelstiltskin. We have much to talk about." Emma blinked rapidly as her mind raced through the book she read more and more after talking to Percy.
"As in the one who enjoyed making deals for everything and anything."
"Yes Deary, now grab the cricket and come to my shop. We have to talk." The line went dead as she shook her head and grabbed her keys with trembling hands. This was not what she expected when she woke up this morning.
Percy POV
I woke up tied to a chair with a gag in my mouth. If there is one thing dealing with monsters does, it's make you want to move. The water vapor swirled and ripped my binds off before I pulled out the bandanna blocking me from speaking. Just then a laugh rang out from behind me.
"So the muttering from the cricket was true. You can use magic." I turned and saw a man who was on the verge of madness. I blinked before he was covered in ice and looking around panicked.
"Who are you? In the other world, not this one." He narrowed his eyes.
"How do you know I have my memories?" I frowned.
"Cause you saw me use magic and your not in pain from a headache." He laughed hysterically.
"I am the mad hatter." I sat down and faced the smirking man.
"Why did you kidnap me?" His smirk quickly left as tears began to form.
"I wish I didn't have my memories. This place is worse for me with them." He sobbed a couple times before he met my eyes.
"I want a working hat so that I can leave." I released him as he dropped to the ground.
"I don't know how to enchant anything, and I am afraid I do not remember reading about your story in your dimension. Only mine, which is not this one anyway." He nodded as he stood with a deep sigh.
"My hat has the ability to transport people between the worlds." He walked out of the room so I followed him.
He was silent until he entered a room with hats all over the walls.
"Through that telescope is my daughter. She doesn't remember me, and I can't take her away from the happiness she has." I took a deep breath.
"What caused the queen to torture you so much?" He looked down.
"I helped her a lot, than she betrayed me. I ended up working with her mother. She hates her mother." I nodded with a deep sigh.
"Everything comes with a price." He nodded.
"I know that, but I..." That is as far as he got before I punched him as hard as I could into the wall, leaving a dent behind him. He dropped to the floor, clearly knocked out. I took a breath.
"His daughter. Damn, I need to have a talk with Regina." Looking through the window I smiled as I saw the family next door playing with a dog in the yard. Looking around I grabbed the pistol on the desk before putting three shots into the floor. I then jumped through the window shattering it and forming water under me to guide me down, unharmed. The three of them blinked a few times before dropping to the ground with a migraine. I frowned before something exploded out of them and hit me. I suddenly felt weak and fell to the ground before falling into a peaceful sleep.
3rd POV
Hopper, Gold, and Emma were sitting around a table in the back of Gold's shop. Emma shook her head.
"So originally it was only going to be me who could break the spell, now Percy, who is from a different dimension, and not yours, is capable of messing it up?" Gold nodded.
"Correct, and I have an idea to help..." Hopper held out a hand.
"Emma, be careful, he always gets the better end of any deal he makes." Gold chuckled.
"Did you, or did you not get what you wanted?" Emma rolled her eyes.
"And what about Cinderella?" He rolled his eyes.
"She simply needed to read her contract. It was spelled out right there." Emma took a deep breath.
"What do you want to help us find him?" He shook his head.
"I owe him actually, even if it isn't in a contract. There are a few people who remember their past life who might be willing to do something to him. There is..." Emma's phone went off. When she answered it her eyes went wide.
"I will be right there."
"Gunshots, before four people were found passed out by the road. One was Percy." They all stood and went to the cars outside.
Percy POV
I woke up, once again in the hospital. I noticed a sleeping Ruby next to me in a chair. Across from me was the family, and next to me was the Hatter with his arms cuffed to the railing. I frowned at the beauty next to me.
"I am so sorry I missed our date." I whispered before summoning water from the air and holding my hands against her head. I found it much easier to rip through the barrier with her asleep compared to Hopper screaming. When I finished I sent the water to the ground before passing out again.
Time Skip
I woke up as Dr. Whale was changing my fluids.
"Oh good your awake. I was going to ask last time. Why is it so hard to get an IV into you?" I blinked.
"Magic, now how long was I out?" He rolled his eyes.
"If you say so. Three days though. Not too bad. Ruby didn't wake up for 8 hours no matter what I did though after falling asleep next to you. Not to mention our security guy was found sleeping on the job the following morning. What did you do?" I looked around noticing the hatter smiling at me while cuffed and Whale frowning at me. I chuckled.
"Where is the nurse summoning button thing?" He rolled his eyes and pointed to a blue button.
"Why?" I nodded.
"For you." I summoned water from the air before he stepped back, grabbed his head and fell to the ground on a bed of water. I sat up and hit the button before looking to the smirking man.
"I wouldn't be smirking if I were you. Your gonna sign a contract being my slave unless you want the kidnapping charges to keep you away from her next." He frowned.
"But you..."
"The punch was for kidnapping me. Now you pay for the ability to see her." He took a deep breath.
"Very well. What am I going to be doing?" I smirked.
"To start with, delivering my fish. I am tired of it." He smiled.
"Your not gonna make me never see her again?" I shook my head.
"I am trying to get a life here, not be hated." He smiled at me as nurses ran in and took Whale to a bed while trying to wake him. One of them came over to me while putting on a lot of masks and stuff.
"We need to isolate you. This is twice now that someone passed out around you." I nodded.
"Want me to walk, or are you going to push me?" She tilted her head.
"If you could walk to the observation room it would be good." I nodded before yanking my leads and going through the glass doors as she locked them behind me and bagged my sheets. The hatter however began to laugh his head off at what happened.
Line break
The next morning I was exercising as Whale woke up and Gold was right next to the door. He had informed me about his meeting with Emma and that the family woke up after 18 hours. The hatter had sense been taken to the police station. Gold loved my slave idea. Whale turned to me. After sitting up with a start.
"You… Him… Frankenstein." Then he glared at nothing.
"Regina." He growled out as Gold cleared his throat.
"Not a good idea Dr. the more Percy uses his magic the more I see it coming back. It is better to just assist those who he assists in regaining their memories." He fell back to his pillow.
"Right. Thank you Percy, the pain was well worth it." I nodded and began my push ups.
"Not a problem, but can you get me out of my glass box?" He smiled.
"I will see what I can do. But first I need to be released." He reached up and hit the nurse call button. He shook his head.
"So your skin is magically durable. Good to know. You have no idea how crazy that was driving me." I laughed as I continued to exercise.
Time skip
It was the following day before I was released and I found a welcoming comity at Grannies for me. I had walked in and was grabbed in a hug by Ruby who was dressed completely different than the slutty way she used to dress. She then kissed my cheek and brought me to a seat at the bar as everyone cat called. A drink was put in my hand by a smiling Granny as everyone came up to me and congratulated me on escaping my kidnapper. The entire time Ruby never let go of my hand.
line break
Ruby walked me back to my ship with her head on my shoulder.
"You gave me back my memories." I blinked.
"Yeah, I wasn't sure though since you didn't say anything." She giggled.
"Ruby was in interesting character. Why didn't you try to sleep with me before you returned my memories? I would have without a doubt." I stumbled on my walk before I shook my head.
"Red, that wouldn't be right. That was a curse trait, not who you are." She nodded.
"I know, but your different." I sighed.
"What are you truly asking me?" She sighed.
"I don't want to be the slut I was while under the curse. However I do want to date you. Do you want to go on a date tomorrow?" I laughed until I noticed her get nervous.
"Why wait, we can have a nice moonlight dinner tonight on the water?" She nodded with a smile and I noticed a slight rush to the boat begin as I chuckled.
Line break
I put fresh food next to us on the bow of my boat.
"Why was Granny so happy at the party? I know she didn't hate me, but she kept glancing between the two of us." Ruby blushed as she sipped her wine.
"Well, when I came home from the hospital I knew she wouldn't remember yet." She took a deep breath before smiling at me nervously.
"I told her you refused to date a slut, and it made me think things over." I smiled and kissed her cheek.
"So she blames me for your new outfit choice and such?" She nodded with a slight giggle.
"Yes, she also is happy we are dating and I am not 'sleeping my way up the eastern seaboard'." She frowned deeply at the end of it.
"I can't believe Regina did that to me." I hugged her tightly.
"I promise, she regrets it already." She shook her head.
"How do you know that, she is the evil queen!" I nodded.
"But who did she have here? Nobody, loneliness is terrible to endure. Time may have stopped for everyone else, but she knew about everything. Why do you think she adopted Henry? Because she regretted being alone." Red was quietly eating for a while after that as I let her think, while I thought about the last 2 years. I needed companionship more than I was willing to acknowledge. Maybe I should stay here for longer than I planned.
"Does she regret taking everyone's happiness, or does she regret not finding hers? I need to know to see if I can forgive her." I shrugged.
"I will find out. For now when do you work tomorrow? Are you able to spend the night or do you work early?" She tilted her head to the side in confusion.
"Percy, I am not going to sleep with you on the first date." I raised an eyebrow.
"I wanted to cuddle, sex can wait." I took a breath as she gave me a look.
"All this talk of loneliness got to me. I came to this dimension 2 years ago and have not been staying in any port for longer than 3 days since." She frowned.
"Can you tell me your story?" I frowned.
"It isn't a good one." She smiled at me.
"Lets get comfortable than. You have certainly flirted with me enough that I want to cuddle." I smirked.
"Technically I have flirted with Ruby, not Red." She rolled her eyes with a giggle before she pulled me below deck before laughing at my room and getting into bed fully dressed.
"Come on big boy, lets see your self control." I smiled and laid down behind her while wrapping my arms around her.
"Ok, so my story is boring until I was twelve and I vaporized my math teacher."
"WHAT?" I laughed and began my story.
Time Skip
I barged into the Mayor's office the next day, causing her to jump as I froze her wrists to the desk. Sitting in front of it I smirked as she panicked.
"What kind of a self righteous bitch would make a man look to his daughter day in and day out while he retained his memories and she didn't?" She took a breath.
"I don't..." I tightened the ice as she went even more wide eyed.
"The Mad Hatter." She gulped before nodding.
"Yes, well he conspired with my mother to..." I rolled my eyes.
"Yes I know about that, it was after you stranded him in wonderland according to Gold." She nodded with a sigh.
"Not one of my better ideas." I nodded.
"Yeah specially since you could have brought a prisoner to leave there instead of someone who was helping you." She blinked multiple times and stared at the desk.
"I didn't think of that." I nodded.
"Clearly. Now I know you regret using the curse, otherwise you would never have adopted Henry. "What about it do you regret the most?" She took a deep breath.
"Why are you keeping me restrained?" I chuckled.
"Cause I can feel your heartbeat and can tell if your lying." I replied before checking to see if… well damn I can actually feel her pulse through the ice. Winning, I thought with a smirk.
"It wasn't what I wanted." She began before taking a deep breath.
"I wanted to get my happy ending, but all I got was power. Everyone feared me so I didn't get any friends, everyone lost their happy ending, which I had planned, but it didn't make me happier." Here she shook her head and was silent for a while.
After ten minutes I broke the silence.
"If you could go back and not cast the curse, would you take the chance?" She shook her head with a sigh.
"No, I would still cast it. As much as he hates me, I love Henry more than I miss my magic, my castle..." She sobbed.
"Even my father. I actually named Henry after him." More Sobs. "I had to kill him to cast the curse, and he told me it was ok. His last words were of encouragement." She sobbed a few more times.
"But I can't leave Henry, I would do anything for him." She leaned forward and I let the ice disappear as she held her head.
"I finally understand how my father felt when I said his heart was what I needed for my happy ending." She met my eyes with hers full of tears.
"I would do anything for his happiness."
"MOM!" The door was thrown open as a teary eyes Henry ran in and embraced his mother. I blinked and turned around as I saw Emma looking in with some water in her eyes. I sighed. I looked to Emma.
"How much did you hear?" She took a breath.
"When you asked if she would do it again." I nodded and looked to Henry who was still wrapped up in Regina's arms.
"Come on Emma, lets get a drink." She nodded as we left the office.
Line Break
Gold arrived when I was mostly drunk and put the contract from the Hatter in front of me.
"Bad day?" I laughed before Emma took a breath next to me.
"He might have gotten Regina a reprieve from Henry, and I can't even say anything bad about it." He gave us a look.
"Sheriff, are you drunk?" She frowned.
"Possible, definitely plan on walking home." He nodded with a sigh.
"He signed it willingly Percy, even used both names." I looked down and nodded at the long signature I didn't feel like working out.
"Emma, in the morning you can release my kidnapper. I am dropping the charges." She frowned.
"What is… never mind, I don't want to know." I smirked.
"Good idea. By the way I never asked, isn't today the third day? Or do you need more time?" She blinked a few times.
"Noon tomorrow?" I nodded.
"Bring Dr. Whale." She opened her mouth to respond before shaking her head.
"Whatever you say." I chuckled before downing my drink as Red came over and kissed me.
"Percy, I am off for the night. Lets get you home." Gold chuckled.
"Red, good to see you." She took a deep breath.
"So you have your memory?" I laughed.
"He never lost it." She nodded.
"So he..." I kissed her to interrupt.
"He is fine don't worry. We have an understanding." She nodded with a deep sigh. With a look to Emma she frowned.
"No Henry today?" Emma shook her head.
"No, I dropped him off as Percy confronted Regina." They met each other's eyes.
"I think she isn't evil anymore. I actually started to cry." I shook my head.
"Things change, even the dark one isn't as dark as he is made out to be." I said with a smirk.
"Percy, don't ruin my reputation." I rolled my eyes.
"Whatever you say man." Red pulled on my arm.
"Percy, lets not upset everyone in one day. Lets get you home." I frowned.
"Am I that drunk?" She gave me a look.
"Percy, in the last 2 hours you drank a bottle and a half of whiskey." Gold began to laugh as I shook my head.
"Fine, in that case do you want to drive the bike?" I asked with a smirk. She laughed.
"Percy, get in my car. I just got it back from the shop." I pouted at her.
"Fine, what is my tab?" She smiled.
"I will tell you tomorrow." I shrugged.
"Ok, Granny isn't mad right?" She shook her head.
"You don't usually get drunk so no, it's ok." I nodded.
"Ok, just remind me for the next few days to not drink in front of her." She sighed and shook her head.
"Whatever you say Percy." We walked outside as I slid my new contract into my jacket pocket and said bye to Emma, and Gold.
Time skip
I woke up to pounding on my door before it opened and Red slipped in.
"Percy, I know your hung over, but Emma is outside with a bunch of people." I groaned.
"I thought you slept here last night?" She giggled.
"I had to get to work this morning." I nodded and sat up.
"Fair enough. Who did she bring?" I asked as I bent over and held my head.
"Snow, Charming, then Kate and some guy. I am not sure about the true identities of them. On the way we grabbed Whale and Granny. She said you requested them?" I nodded.
"Yeah I did. Whale has his memories back so agreed to help anyone I mess with." She sighed with a smile and a nod. I stood up with a stumble and shook my head.
"Next time I drink too much can you just push me into the water instead?" She smiled.
"Will it sober you up? Your healing that is?" I nodded.
"Yes it will." I staggered up from the hold before I saw the crowd on the ship and shook my head.
"Give me a minute." I walked to the edge and jumped off as I heard yelling. I took a moment to relax before I willed the water to swirl around my legs and lift me up to the boat as the slowly all began to hold their head and go to their knees. Whale immediately got to work checking vitals and such. I looked to Red and smiled.
"I feel so much better. Wanna do something fun?" She giggled before shaking her head.
"I have the keys to the car we came in. I have to drive us back." I frowned.
"Fine, be that way. Will I at least see you tonight?" I asked with a smirk so that she knew I was messing with her. She nodded.
"Yes, but I am not spending the night. I need to be there when Granny wakes up." I nodded.
"Works for me. Lets load them up, then I need to go catch peoples dinner." She smiled and kissed me before going over to Granny as I made water lift everyone and brought them to the shore.
Time skip
I was stressing over valentines day when Gold came onto the boat and frowned at the mess I made.
"Problems?" I shook my head.
"Valentines is tomorrow and I have no idea what to do for Red." He chuckled.
"I see. I need to cash in the favor you owe me though." I blinked before standing up and stretching.
"What's up?" He took a breath.
"I need you to find my property that was stolen. It is a teacup with a chip on the rim almost 2 inches from the handle." I blinked.
"Who's story is that from?" He narrowed his eyes.
"Mine." I shook my head.
"Right, well what info do you have?" He frowned.
"I know who took it, I just don't know how he knew." I frowned.
"Ok, time to get to work." We left the boat with him telling me about the man who lost his business to him, yesterday.
Line break
I left the house of the sad man and went into the office of Regina. This time there was no theatrics. She shook her head.
"I might have a better relationship with my son now because of you, but I don't like you." I shrugged and sat down.
"Maybe, but Gold cashed in a favor I owe him. I need the teacup you convinced the guy to steal." She went wide eyed before narrowing her eyes.
"No." I laughed.
"Give it to me or I tell Henry your up to your old games again." She took a breath.
"I have plans for it?"
"Like?" I replied as she shook her head and reached into her desk.
"I need to know how much Gold remembers, and for how long he did." I shook my head.
"He never forgot." She froze for a second before taking out the cup and putting it on the desk.
"I need to make a deal with you. Henry want's to go sailing. He asked me to talk to you about if we can use your boat." I raised an eyebrow.
"Why would I do that for you?" She frowned.
"I thought you like Henry?" I nodded.
"I like the kid, not you." She sighed deeply before she frowned and sighed.
"I can give you Belle." I froze. It didn't take a child of Athena to figure out as Gold described the story behind the cup, that he was the story of beauty and the beast. Specially with me chasing down Chip. It took me a matter of seconds before I had a contract out and was filling it out slowly. She gave me a look.
"What's wrong, can't read?" She asked with a chuckle. I shook my head.
"Nope, dyslexia." She gulped as I finished it and slid it over.
"Gold gave me pre-written contracts. Sign the bottom and get Belle to my boat in an hour." She frowned as she skimmed the contract before nodding.
"Fine. But you need to stop restoring memories too." I pulled out another contract as she rolled her eyes.
"Your turning into him." I shrugged.
"What do I get for not restoring anyone, and pick a time limit?" She frowned.
"How about no more than one person a week, and what do you want?" I shrugged before I narrowed my eyes.
"What ever happened to the hat, from the Hatter?" She blinked several times before leaning back.
"It should be in my vault." I nodded.
"Perfect, I want it." She sighed.
"Ok, deal." I filled out the next and slid it over. She signed both and I stood before taking the cup.
"Right, well, I will see you in one hour." We both walked out with very different locations in mind.
I threw open the door to the shop before taking out the cup and putting it in front of an emotional Gold.
"I want the deed for Granny's. In return I will give you something you will deem worth it." He blinked before showing slightly less emotion, but didn't stop smiling.
"And if I don't deem it worth it?" I smirked.
"You can have my boat, and another favor." He smirked.
"I will write it up." I shook my head.
"No need, just come to the dock with a car to pick up someone I restored the memory of." He frowned before sighing.
"Very well Percy." I smiled.
"Oh, and can you apologize to Red for me? I wont be able to take her out tonight, but it will be worth it." He nodded with a sad sigh.
"You're that sure I am going to feel it's worth it?" I nodded.
"If I wasn't, I am now." I said thinking about his reaction to the teacup.
3rd POV
On one side of the town Gold gave Red a copy of the deed and the message from Percy about the missing valentines day, and on the other a stranger on a motorcycle parked a block away from the docks and snuck up. When Regina pulled a crazy woman from a car and handed the cuffed hands to Percy he was confused. Once Regina left, Percy said something softly to the woman before the ocean jumped to his hands and glowed as he placed them against the head of the woman who collapsed to the ground. Percy managed two steps before falling inches from the edge of the dock. Five minutes later and neither had moved when a car pulled up. Mr. Gold got out and walked down confused. He pushed Percy into the water before turning to the woman and turning her over. When he dropped to his knees and cried the stranger went wide eyed. He turned and went to his bike. His idea to question the man's magic will have to wait. Someone that could bring the dark one to tears clearly changes the game.
Percy POV
I groaned myself awake under the water before stretching.
"Get back here dinner. I will get you open eventually." I heard before I blinked and looked down. There was a rather large lobster picking at my foot as I noticed my pants were torn pretty well. I rolled my eyes before grabbing him behind the head and willing myself up to the dock.
"What do you think your doing? I am goi..." The talking cut out as we broke the surface. I sighed as I went onto the boat, got dressed and put bands on his claws. This is why I have no problem eating the fish here, they are annoying in a bad way.
Line Break
I arrived at Granny's with a large bag on my back and a dozen lobsters in it. Walking in I was hit by Red in a sudden hug.
"Percy, I am so glad your ok. When I didn't find you last night I got worried." I blinked.
"What's the date?" She smiled.
"February 15th." She looked around before leaning into my ear.
"Gold told me that you traded him for the dinner, and he pushed you into the ocean. I was going to look for you this afternoon. I couldn't find you in the dark." I nodded with a smile.
"Nice, so not even a day." We kissed before Granny yelled.
"Ruby! You have tables to serve. Let your boyfriend sit, or leave." I rolled my eyes with a smile as she sighed.
"Nice to see you too Granny. I got a dozen lobsters for you in my bag, but if you want me to leave I can do that." She smiled.
"Don't be so hasty now." She said coming closer.
"Now, what do you want for them?" I laughed and handed her the bag.
"A day off for Ruby. I owe her a nice dinner after ditching her on valentines day." Red smiled and kissed my cheek before going to the tables for their orders. Granny rolled her eyes.
"Restoring memories, working, romantic, and now my landlord. I don't suppose you have a father who is just like you, and maybe single?" She joked around. I shook my head with a grimace.
"No family in this dimension." I said before she froze.
"Sorry, I keep forgetting about you being from a third one." I nodded. While Granny didn't know all of it, I had told her after I restored her memories about me being from a different one and sent here.
"Percy!" I heard from the corner. Looking I saw Snow, Charming, Emma, and Henry. I nodded to them before looking to Granny?
"If you don't want her having the day off I will take five bucks a piece. That should leave you with plenty of room for profit." She smirked.
"She works tomorrow, but I can spare her the next day."
"Thank you Granny." I said before handing her the bag and giving her a hug. She chuckled but went to the board and put a countdown of how many lobster there were.
"Hello everyone, how is it going?" I said as I sat down and Red brought me a coffee and some pancakes.
"Thanks beautiful." Henry tilted his head.
"I thought you flirt to get a girlfriend, not once you have one?" I laughed.
"You'll learn eventually." Charming nodded with a wide smile and glanced to a blushing Snow. Emma rubbed his head.
"What is this I heard last night about you now owning this place?" I laughed.
"I made a trade. Services for the establishment." She nodded before Henry smiled.
"Did you restore someone else's memory?" I gave him a look.
"Trying to keep it a secret you know." I took a bite.
"Besides, now I have to keep it to one a week."
"Why?" He said before I frowned at him.
"Henry, it is early morning and I slept on the sea floor last night. Please relax with the questions. Besides the mayor requested it. I think she wants a chance to explain to people as it happens. That way they don't hate her as much." He sighed.
"Ok, I guess that makes sense." I nodded.
"Charming, you have a job yet?" He sighed.
"Only a part time one at the pet shop?" I frowned.
"I need a deck hand. You interested?" He looked between everyone.
"Why me?" I shrugged.
"Day one you wont pass out because of how I sail, besides the tuna need to be gutted as soon as they hit the boat. Swords and knives are a lot alike." Emma and Snow pushed their food to the middle of the table as Henry seemed confused. Charming smirked and took a bite of his.
"I can do that. When do you want me to start?"
"After breakfast? How much you want to be paid?" He frowned.
"Not sure, how much am I really going to be doing with you there?" I went to answer before I heard a voice behind me.
"How many deck hands you want?" Leroy said before coming around the bench to talk.
"I have always wanted to sail and be on the water, but my boat isn't sea worthy yet." I narrowed my eyes for a moment.
"Next Wednesday be at my boat for 6am." I looked between the two men.
"Anything sold will be split four ways. Us three and the boat. Since I own the boat I get that share as well." Charming smiled as Leroy grumbled but shook my hand and left the dinner with a thoughtful look on his face. Charming shook my hand before I frowned and looked around again.
"Now who the Hades is that in your dimension?" Snow sighed.
"Grumpy. Thank you for bringing him on." I shrugged.
"No problem, although I think we may need to go beyond the barrier and expand where we sell. This town only has so much money internally." Henry grabbed my arm.
"Nobody can leave the curse. Bad things happen when they do." I frowned.
"What if they plan to come back?" He went to say something before he frowned and looked at the table. I sighed and looked to Emma, who smirked.
"You said it right, it just wasn't considered before." I nodded and kept eating.
"Can we test it so that we know?" He finally said. I shrugged and handed Charming the keys to my bike.
"Drive to the next town and come back. Keep saying it to yourself that your coming back till you pass the barrier." He took the keys with a smirk before Snow took them away.
"Not on that death trap. We finally have our daughter back." She handed him her keys.
"The car has air bags." I laughed as he frowned, but nodded.
"Your right." He smiled to Snow, and Emma before smirking at Henry.
"I have a grandson to think about too." He kissed Snow and left the booth. I finished my plate before looking to Snow.
"So how are things with, Abigail, and Fredrick I think it was?" She smiled.
"Thank you for that. With the four of us gaining the memories everything worked it's way out without anything public happening." I nodded.
"Hey sheriff, I saw another motorcycle the other day. Who started to drive one around here. I thought I was the only crazy one." She shook her head with a half smile.
"His name is August. He is visiting here." I nodded
"Cool, is he a good guy?" She shrugged.
"Seems it, why?" I nodded.
"Heard the bike last night by the docks. Just figured I would talk to him." She narrowed her eyes.
"Nothing Illegal right?" I chuckled.
"I would tell the sheriff about that, why?" She shook her head before going wide eyed.
"August!" She called as we all turned to the counter. He smiled and came over before sitting down. I swear I heard the sound of a peg leg.
"Emma, hi, it's good to see you. Are you willing to go out on a date with me yet?" I frowned. He felt off. I shut my eyes and tried to sense him.
"Is he ok?"
"Yeah, he is just a weirdo wh..." My eyes shot open in shock as I realized his legs were both wood and his entire body was similar.
"Emma. In the case of a bar fight, both parties get arrest right?" She nodded with a confused look on her face.
"Yes, until the owner decides if they want to press charges. Why?" I smirked.
"Because either he comes with us to a private place to talk, or I punch him and figure it out in jail." He held up his hands and gulped.
"My room is right upstairs. Long as Emma comes to ensure no fighting we can talk there." I nodded as the table was silent.
"But I want to stay."
"I know kid, but if a fight breaks out I don't want you involved." I chuckled.
"A fight would imply he had a chance." Emma frowned at me.
"Henry go into the bathroom. You can leave the door open, but stay out of the way." He nodded and ran over. August sighed.
"Ok, now what is happening? I never did anything to you for this anger." I smiled.
"Not anger, intrigue." Pulling water from the air it began to glow as I swarmed his legs and he sighed in contentment.
"Your legs are wood with a subtle spell over them and your torso has wood forming under the surface. Explain to Snow and her daughter now." He sighed as I worked the wood until it was extremely malleable. He started softly.
"The wardrobe could have sent two here. Dad and I expected a pregnant Snow to come through and I would explain how he made a deal with the fairy to lie. He wanted me to avoid the curse. Snow would never have blamed a child." Snow put a hand on her mouth and tears in her eyes.
"Pinocchio?" She said in almost a sob. He nodded as I moved to his torso.
"Yeah." He sighed deeply.
"Sorry I left you Emma, but I did make sure you were found." Snow sat down as I finished and stopped.
"I couldn't back track the transformation, but you should be good for a couple weeks." He nodded.
"Lying, and selfishness here has repercussions." I chuckled.
"Least your nose is normal." He smiled.
"That is true. Thank you Percy. Can you do it again if I get more stiff?" I smirked.
"The first one is free, then you need to pay, or trade." He frowned.
"You have been hanging out with the dark one too much." He stood and walked around with a smile.
"So what do I need to do to get you to fix dad's memories?" I shrugged.
"Make me an offer, but I have to wait 2 weeks to do it. Now if you will excuse me, I have fish to catch." I began to walk out the door as he called me back.
"Percy, thank you." I nodded.
"Knowledge is power, and now I have it." I said before leaving with a frown as I thought about Annabeth for the first time in a while. I wondered if she would approve of me and Red Ridding Hood. I chuckled on the way to my bike.
Time Skip
I arrived at the dock seconds before Charming did. He got out and followed me with a smile.
"Felt like a speed bump, but I didn't crash." I smiled back as we got onto the boat and I began to tell the sails and ropes what to do.
"Works for me, now you are basically a jack of all trades for this. I can control the boat, sails and ropes with my mind." I began as we began to leave the dock with him smirking at everything obeying me.
"Once I get traps, or fish onboard I usually have to let the boat drift as I focus on the fish flopping and trying to kill me." He nodded in understanding.
"How many traps do I need to worry about?" I chuckled.
"I have about 3 dozen out right now. I will show you how to mess with them, then that is you and Grumpy's job." He nodded.
"How do I get them out?" I laughed.
"You don't, I jump in and wedge them into the rocks to stop anything escaping." He smiled.
"Perfect." I nodded back.
"Am I going to be able to help Snow with her candle sale next week?" I frowned.
"When is it?"
"Sunday."
"Yeah, no problem I am a landlord now so have more income. We can easily take a day or two off." He smiled.
"Do you plan on buying more land?" I shrugged.
"Maybe if the price is right, technically I own the water anyway." He laughed as I sped the boat up to head out.
Time Skip
Red and I had our date a few days ago and had sex as well. It was amazing and I now couldn't help but want her to never leave in the morning. I was cuddling her when I was yelled at from the dock.
"Percy! I need to talk to you!" I sat up with a frown.
"Percy, I wanted to get to the celebration anyway." Red said as I groaned.
"Fine." I grumbled as she laughed and got dressed as I went to the deck.
"Leroy, what do you want?" He frowned.
"I want to sell you my boat." I blinked.
"You seamed excited about it the other day." He nodded
"Yeah, but I need the money in a hurry." I blinked as Red came up and got on the dock with me following her.
"Why, what's going on?" I asked. He sighed.
"The nuns are about to get evicted. I don't know what to do. I am going to give her the money to pay the rent." I smirked.
"Her, not them? Does someone have a crush on the..." I froze before Red looked to me. I shook my head.
"Right, how about this, I will finish the amount whatever you need and you pay me back when you start working this week. I have a feeling the candles are going to be in high demand soon." He nodded sadly.
"So far we are three thousand short." I nodded.
"I said what I said. Head back and get ready for some business." He nodded.
"Deal. Thank you Percy." He said grumpily. When he was out of earshot I began to walk with Red to the festival.
"Percy, why did you freeze?" I sighed.
"Cause Gold has other reasons for trying to evict the nuns. They are the former fairies who never assisted him in your world." She frowned.
"He carried that grudge over?" I nodded.
"It was also a fairy who played a part in him loosing his son." She nodded.
"I see, so what do you plan to do for the candle sales?" As we got close I smiled at her as she gained a blue shine over her face.
"Percy your eyes are glowing." I chuckled.
"News to me." I said before a thunderstorm appeared out of nowhere and lightning hit the nearest five transformers, cutting the power all around us. She giggled.
"Now they need them to see." I nodded as I let go of the storm.
"Lets go enjoy our festival. Than we can worry about other things." She giggled with a nod.
"Ok, lets get some cider, it's so good." I smiled as we left the storm zone and I began to get out my money for some candles.
Time Skip
It was Tuesday and I wanted to get some sailing rope for the mast, so I walked into the Pawn shop with Red holding my hand.
"RED!"
"BELLE!" I held my ears as the two girls ran across the shop and Gold looked at them strangely, before shaking his head and coming over to me as they spoke.
"Thank you Percy, for getting me Belle back." I nodded.
"Not a problem. Any chance you got some sea worthy rope? Mine is wearing thin." He thought for a moment.
"Not in the shop, but I could order some." I nodded.
"Sounds good, let me know how much I owe you." I then leaned in.
"I also want to look for a house. I am not leaving Red, so might as well put down some roots." He smirked, but nodded as well. He then spoke at a normal tone.
"I will take a look at my investments and see what I have." I nodded.
"I am not renting." He laughed.
"I understand." He began to walk to the back to get some paperwork.
"That was an interesting storm the other day. Lightning taking out 5 transformers, yet not a single drop of rain managed to form." The girls looked to us as I chuckled.
"Helping out a friend is all." He sighed.
"You know I don't like them." I nodded.
"Yes I know, just like I know the reason why as well. You can find him." He sighed.
"Yeah, but I am tired of waiting." I frowned.
"What are you waiting on anyway?" He sighed.
"I don't have a way of finding him. Emma wouldn't help me and..."
"I have a favor owed me by her." He sighed but nodded.
"But I have nothing to trade you for it." I smirked.
"I wouldn't be so sure of that. What I said I was looking for besides sail rope. A hefty discount on that could persuade me." He narrowed his eyes.
"If you find him, than any single property I own is yours for the asking." I blinked.
"You don't think that is too much?" The girls came to us as Belle took his arm.
"Rumple, who are you looking for?" He took a breath ad Red kissed my cheek.
"My son." Belle gasped as Gold looked down. I took Red's hand.
"Sorry about spilling the beans Gold. Give me a call when the rope gets here." He nodded before giving a gentle kiss to Belle. Red and I left the shop as I thought about stuff.
"Percy, I am confused. What did I miss while talking to Belle, who you should have told me you helped." I smiled at her.
"Sorry, but yeah, I need to talk to Emma, it will be quick though Then we can get back to our dinner." She nodded.
"Ok, long as nothing your doing is dangerous." I chuckled.
"Like dating a werewolf?" She shook her head.
"There is no magic here." I smiled.
"Yet."
Line break
We found Emma at the station and I let go of Red's hand before walking over to a very confused Emma. I took a breath.
"I am calling in the favor you owe me." She hit her head against the desk.
"Ok, what do you need?" I frowned.
"I need you to find the son of Rumpelstiltskin." I put five- one hundred dollar bills on her desk.
"Tell him that is a down payment, if he comes and talks to me I will give him 2 grand." Her eyes went wide.
"Ok, what do you know about him?" I frowned.
"Not much. Talk to Gold. Tell him I turned in the favor for this and he will be helpful." She nodded.
"Ok, not like there is much to do as sheriff in this town anyway. Your even taking away my main drunk for fishing tomorrow." I laughed.
"Well who knows how much he will drink once he gets his memory back." She nodded.
"Fair enough. Please tell me there is not a time limit on this?" I shook my head.
"No, however your gonna be paid $6000 dollars for doing it, and each month that goes by 500 gets taken off that amount." She raised an eyebrow.
"I am confused, I thought this was a favor?" I nodded.
"With an incentive, and understanding that I am not giving you a lot to go on." She nodded.
"Fair enough. The incentive is under the table right?"
"Why sheriff, I am surprised at you. I don't plan to give you any money, just helping out a friend." She rolled her eyes before laughing.
"Ok Percy, ok." She turned back to her desk and started to type stuff as she dialed the phone as well. I left with Red.
"Percy, you don't usually throw money around like this, what is going on?" I frowned.
"Gold is giving me a house if I find his son. I figure we need somewhere to..." I didn't finish as she crashed her lips onto mine.
Time skip
Grumpy fainted as soon as we set off and Charming shook his head.
"Let me guess, I need to get him below deck?" I laughed.
"Yes Mr. Deck hand, now get to work while I sail us." I said with a smirk before he shook his head with a sigh.
"Fair enough." He dead lifted Grumpy with a deep grunt before bringing him to the hold and my bed. I began to wonder what would happen when he wakes up.
Line break
"That bitch is gonna die!" He yelled as he came up from the hold while glaring. I chuckled.
"Grumpy, calm down and talk to Snow first." I said while watching Hatter unload the fish into his truck at 2am. Four hours and Charming shows up for day 2 with the dwarf.
"Grumpy there are many people here who have more reason than you. Think about Snow, she lost her true love and child." Grumpy glared at him.
"Who the hell are you?" He smiled before I cut him off.
"He is the Mad Hatter. Get to work dude, I only have four hours till Charming shows up." He sighed before nodding.
"Ok, you didn't need to take away my fun though." I shrugged.
"Considering the next town over is expecting those by 9am, there is a little reason." He nodded with a sigh. Grumpy looked to me.
"Who are you really, Percy. I don't remember you." I smiled.
"I am from a different dimension than you guys and this one." I took out a fifty and handed it to him.
"Can you go pick up some Gatorade for me you and Charming?" He nodded.
"I might need something stronger." I shook my head.
"We usually get back at noon. No drinking on the boat. And if your late for work your screwed." He mumbled as he nodded and headed out.
The hatter smiled at me.
"Who is next on your list?" I smirked.
"Geppetto, if His son can meet my prices. Did I tell you I have your hat by the way?" He froze and turned to me. I nodded.
"It's under my bed, hopefully charging while I sleep and sail. You need to figure out the best way to gain me the ability to transcend dimensions without a time limit and able to come back." He nodded.
"Umm, right yeah. Your not going to leave me somewhere now that my daughter knows who I am are you?" I shook my head.
"No, I am trying to get ahead, not be evil." He nodded with a sigh.
"Right." I shrugged.
"Besides, I don't plan to go with you. You had said however many go through must come back, well I plan to leave you alone while you get me the ability." He narrowed his eyes.
"What is stopping me from staying somewhere?" I laughed.
"Your honor. Plus I might get the ability later on and then it would suck for you if I found where you ran." He gulped and nodded.
"Right, I have heard rumors of beans." I nodded.
"Get the fish to market and think about it later dude." He nodded.
"Course Percy, of course."
Time Skip
On the way out Grumpy had asked a lot of questions to me, in a get to know you voice. He then Helped Charming with the traps and preparing the fish for sale, now he was yelling to Charming about, well everything.
"SHUT THE FUCK UP!" I yelled as the two of them turned to me. I jumped down from the steering column and stomped up to Grumpy.
"Listen well you dwarf, or so help me your gonna regret it." He actually gulped.
"I am trying to focus on the sailing and plan where to bring the fish for good prices. On the way out I answered all your questions including why I wont let you kill Regina. Now we are still three miles from shore and as soon as the work was done you started yelling at my other Deck hand. The reason I didn't give either of you contracts for employment are so that I can remove you if you annoy me." I felt a hand on my shoulder before Charming cleared his throat.
"Percy, your eyes are glowing." I blinked before taking a breath and settling down. I met Grumpy's eyes again.
"The curse is not broken. I just fixed your memories. I am new to this place, but am also the only one with usable magic so far. I have used it to get answers, and such. Emma knows about what I found out and I am sure she told Snow. If you and Charming make me miserable on this boat I will kick you both off and run everything myself." I turned to Charming and nodded before going back to the helm with a deep sigh. Grumpy looked to Charming before they began a quiet talk at the bow where I could not hear them. I shook my head.
Arriving at the dock I saw Regina there with Henry as I pulled into my spot. Suddenly Grumpy jumped off the boat with a harpoon in hand and Charming yelling no. I grabbed him with water and dragged him back onto the ship, freezing him to the mast. I got into his face.
"WHAT THE FUCK DID I SAY YOU DAMN DWARF? SHE HAS MONEY IN THIS TOWN AND LIKES FISH YOU STUPID FUCK." I turned to Charming as I realized even he was wide eyed.
"Get your daughter down here, I want him in jail for at least the night. You can try to talk him into behaving before I ban him from the water altogether. In this dimension without my father here I am basically a fucking god." I jumped off the boat landing in front of a stunned Mayor and her wide eyed son I took a breath.
"Sorry about that. How about a lobster for dinner as an apology." She took a breath and pulled Henry in front of her.
"I would appreciate that, however I am here to cash in on our deal. On Saturday would you be free to take us out so that Henry can have fun on the ocean?" I frowned.
"I don't remember saying I was going to bring you, just let you use the boat." She frowned and rubbed her head.
"$100 for the day?" I smiled.
"Deal, what time to what time?" She looked to Henry.
"8am, to how about 3pm?" She asked him while he nodded with a wide smile. I nodded.
"I don't have a good stove on here so pack a cold lunch. Unless you want the freshest water you ever tasted than you need to bring the juice." She gave me a look.
"That is quite the claim." Charming jumped down next to me.
"It's true though, he takes it strait from the air and removes all the contaminants." He turned to me.
"She is on her way. Please give him another chance. We all were ready for revenge for a while." Regina sighed.
"I see, so you restored his memory?" I nodded.
"He is my new deck hand." She took a breath.
"I know I said one per week, but can you tell me who so that I can talk to them about it before and after they get them back." She looked to Henry.
"I don't want to have fights." I nodded.
"Next Wednesday is Geppetto." Turning to Charming I spoke again.
"Get me a medium sized Lobster from the case. Regina gets it as an apology." He nodded and smiled to Henry.
"Hey, what kind of fish do you like? Percy gives me a fish a day for working with him." Henry smiled.
"Does that include Lobster?" I laughed.
"Grab him one Grandpa, and don't forget to explain to Snow that I did give you one. I know she enjoys what you bring home." He chuckled but nodded. I looked to the mother son pair.
"See you both on Saturday."
"Percy! Where did we put the lobster, I can only find the crab?" I groaned.
"Starboard bow next to the cussing octopus that pissed me off!" Regina looked to me.
"You can understand the fish?" I nodded.
"Yeah, but dad hasn't been in this dimension in so long they have no respect for me." She chuckled before nodding as the tires skidded up top and Emma jumped out and ran down the dock. I raised an eyebrow before she bent down to Henry.
"Your ok right?" He nodded.
"Yeah I am fine, he was just mad at Mom." She nodded.
"Right." Standing up she turned around to me and around to see where everyone was.
"You realize no matter how I report this because of your powers, no court would believe it anyway right?" I shrugged and waved my hand as Grumpy began to yell as his ice prison was lifted onto the dock.
"He is only on strike one anyway. Just keep him for a few hours like a drunken disorderly." She nodded.
"Ok, I can do that." The ice shattered leaving the dwarf dry as Emma took out her cuffs. He looked between us all and sighed.
"Ok, I will come quietly." She cuffed him in front of his body and lead him up the dock. I shook my head as Charming arrived and handed the seafood to the small family.
"Saturday, 8am." I said before going up the dock and getting on my bike. The Hatter would arrive at 12am and unload the boat.
Time Skip
I stared at the… well… Grumpy dwarf named Grumpy.
"Gonna behave?" I asked him before he nodded.
"Yes, Snow explained everything. Including about how Regina was the one to really pay the price since she remembered everything." I nodded and walked back onto the boat as he and Charming followed.
"Ok, so I can feel a rather large school swimming on the edge of the barrier, maybe a mile down. I think they are swordfish. Today should be profitable for us. Hatter will get back to me about how much he got for yesterdays catch, then tomorrow we have a day off. I am kicking us into gear faster than normal so wont hear a thing while we sail, any questions beforehand?"
"How can you trust the Hatter to not steal from us?" I smirked.
"Cause his deal was to be a slave. I could make him kill himself. Any other questions?" He went wide eyed and shook his head as I nodded and the boat spun out quickly and began to reach a good speed before the sails even opened.
Line break
Emma was pacing on the dock as we came back, more tired than most days due to the length and the giant swordfish I speared.
"What took so long your normally back at about noon?" I shook my head.
"What do you want, today was tiring?" She frowned as Charming jumped down with a medium sized flounder and kissed her before trudging to his car without a word. She was shocked as Grumpy jumped down and went up the dock like he didn't see her. She stared until I sighed.
"Emma!" She spun back.
"Right, sorry. I found Gold's son." I nodded and gestured for her to get onto the boat where she went wide eyed at the barrels of crabs.
"I thought you kept those in the hold." I laughed.
"I can't even get to my bed right now. Like I said there was a giant school. If I couldn't control water you would be stepping in blood no matter where you were on the deck. Now, how long would it take to get him here?" She sighed.
"If I take a vacation, within a week, but with you planning a reveal a week, than I don't want to leave. They could hurt Henry by accident." I heard a tapping from the dock as we both turned and Gold with Belle came onboard.
"Sheriff Swan, Percy, is everything alright?" I nodded.
"Yes it is." reaching behind the barrels I grabbed a bag with at least ten pounds of fish in it.
"Swordfish steak, as promised." He took the bag with a grunt before smiling.
"Wonderful, thank you for the call." I nodded as Belle gave Emma a hug.
"Now we have a problem though. Do you have anything on Geppetto?" I asked as he frowned and Belle looked between us.
"Why do you want to control Geppetto?" She asked softly. I sighed and looked between the three of them.
"Ok, I have had a long day, does anyone mind me going with the quick explanation?" Gold sighed as the other two shook their heads. I nodded.
"Ok, Emma found your son, however for her to go get him we need a week free of any law trouble. Geppetto was the next scheduled memory to restore." Belle nodded.
"Do you really think he will attack Regina?" I shrugged.
"Grumpy jumped off my boat with a Harpoon when she cashed in a favor yesterday." She went wide eyed and blinked rapidly. Gold began to unfold paper.
"There is something I need from an old acquaintance. Once I get it I will bring magic back to us. This will allow me to ensure the safety of the town when you go. Will that be efficient Ms. Swan?" I rolled my eyes.
"Gold, I am the one asking, not her." He nodded.
"Yes, but I need the item and only she can get it." I shook my head.
"Whatever you say." I turned to Belle.
"How is everything going with you? Red said you were frustrated the other day." She nodded.
"He wants the spell broken so he can collect on some contracts. We had a difference of opinion about how it should work." I nodded.
Soon enough the deal was done and Emma got the better end of it apart from Gold being the dark one and benefiting if his plan panned out. I sighed.
"So everything is taken care of right?" Everyone nodded as I stood with a groan and jumped to the dock.
"I need to talk to Red, see you all later." I began to walk to my bike as Belle yelled.
"Percy! You smell like fish!" I blinked and turned back.
"Thank you." I said before the ocean swirled around me and I felt all the grime leave my body. Getting on my bike I smiled and started it up.
Walking in the door of Granny's Red hugged me tightly.
"You weren't kidding when you said you would have a long day. That was almost 16 hours." I nodded.
"And I have the tour tomorrow." She giggled as she sat down across from me. I gave her a look.
"Shift ended an hour ago. So what made you agree to sailing them around?" I sighed.
"They get the boat for the day based on a contract, this way I get at least some money, and good will." She nodded.
"August was in here a little while ago, he wants to know what you want for his dad?" She questioned as I shook my head and leaned in.
"Pinocchio wants his father's memory restored." She smiled as I nodded.
"I am to tired for that right now, just figure out if I would benefit and tell him to get there early for a contract. Oh, and bring Whale." She nodded.
"Why do you involve Whale in everything?" I sighed.
"He owes me for his memory. So he does his job and keeps them safe as they recover." She nodded in understanding.
"I think you need a good rest, do you really need to be there for when the Hatter grabs your fish?" I sighed deeply.
"Not really, I trust him. I just like to clean up as the fish leaves. Stops it from solidifying on the deck." She frowned but nodded.
"He gets there at midnight, lets get you to bed for a few hours beforehand than." I nodded and stood up with her. Walking up to her room I smiled at her. When she laid down I met her eyes. I would recognize them anywhere, and I never want her to doubt I love her. I kissed her gently, but full of love.
Time Skip
I couldn't help but smile as the evil queen ran away from a laughing Henry following her around the boat with a fish. We had finished lunch a little while ago when Henry had spotted a pole and asked if he could fish, since he swam all morning I nodded and helped him set it up.
"HEEEENNNNNRY!" I burst into true laughter as even Regina, through her scream, was smiling widely. When Henry finally stopped he smiled to me.
"Can we eat this?" I laughed and formed ice over a rather large bucket.
"Sure can kid." He tossed it in with a smile. The mayor came over and sat next to me on the stairs while she smiled at the boy who began to fish again.
"I think he really needed this, although my clothes do not need the fish slime." I chuckled.
"Maybe, but it is great for your skin." She tilted her head.
"Really?" I nodded and held out my hand.
"I handle harpoons and shit all day so I have callouses, but you'll notice there is no dead skin on them." She felt it and nodded.
"Your right. Must be why they sell the tablets with fish oil in them." I frowned.
"Didn't know they did that." She nodded before frowning and standing up and looking behind us.
"What is that?" She asked. I gave her a look and turned before I went wide eyed. There was a purple cloud chasing us. I took a breath.
"Grab your son, cause I can't beat that to the barrier." She ran off as I took a deep breath, hopping I would be fine as I shut my eyes.
I felt power as the cloud dissipated. I smiled before I suddenly felt a deeper connection to the ocean around me. Looking to Regina she was examining her hands as Henry was confused.
"What was that?" He asked as I smiled at him.
"Magic has been returned." Regina nodded.
"Captain, I think we should head..." We stumbled as we were hit with a rainbow beam that expanded out of the town. I looked back to Regina who took a deep breath.
"I think the curse was broken." I nodded.
"You have another hour before we need to leave to make it back in time." She took a breath before looking to Henry. He nodded as well.
"As Mayor you need to keep everyone calm, and as the one to cast the curse..." He left that open before she nodded.
"I need to apologize, yeah." I smiled.
"Ok, I will guide us back in." I spun the boat around and sped us back to shore.
Arriving at the dock I drifted in and tied us up. Regina knelt down next to Henry.
"Henry, I want you to stay with Percy. People are going to be mad, and I don't want you hurt." I frowned at being volunteered for this.
"Mom, you regret cursing them, this is..." She shook her head and held onto her son's cheek.
"Henry, I promise I will not run and will come back. However remember Grumpy?" The boy nodded.
"When people are hurt they don't always think before they act." Henry nodded with watery eyes.
"Ok Mom. Please be careful." She smiled.
"I have my magic back, I am sure I can stay safe." I cleared my throat.
"The magic of this dimension was different from mine, you might want to test it first." She nodded before walking up the dock, waving her hands several times. I smirked to the kid, who was following her with his eyes.
"There are fish under the dock, wanna keep fishing?" He sighed deeply before nodding.
"I hope my mom and Emma are ok." I nodded.
"I am sure they will be." I replied before handing him the pole as he started to fish."
Line Break
Emma, Charming, Snow and Regina walked down the dock with frowns on their faces. Henry put down the pole and ran over before hugging them tightly. I sighed.
"What happened and where is my girlfriend?" Everyone looked between each other before Emma started.
"Well, the curse is broken. Everyone was rightfully pissed at Regina, however mom and dad managed to calm everyone down and things seem to be ok. Mom is taking over the mayor position, and dad will be acting Sheriff while I am getting Gold's son." Snow shook her head.
"Do you need to do that now? Since everyone remembers I wanted to celebrate my daughter." She smiled at Snow.
"Mom, we talked about this. I signed the contract, I need to fulfill it. Besides it isn't really dangerous is it." Snow sighed and hugged her before stepping back into Charming's embrace. I rolled my eyes.
"Right, so my girlfriend?" Charming chuckled before Regina took over.
"Re acquainting herself with the few friends she had who now remember." I nodded.
"Well, I ended up on babysitting duties when you ran off. Now I am going to take a nap." I nodded and turned as Henry spoke.
"Percy, what about the fish I caught for dinner?" I waved a hand over my shoulder.
"Your grandfather knows how to do everything." I replied as they all chuckled.

"Dark one or not, invade my boat and I will make you regret it." I said before opening my eyes as Red jumped up from next to me and I turned to the dark one who was in my room. He sighed.
"Sorry, I was going to call in a favor from the Hatter. He said you have his hat and was going to ask about it tomorrow." I stood up with only boxers on and glared.
"The hat is mine. What do you need with it?" He smiled and held out a hand to my desk which had a contract come to him from the top.
"For one use of the hat I was going to give you a favor." I groaned and handed it to a confused Red.
"Does it say simply one use and favor or did he do something weird with the writing?" She read before nodding.
"Just says favor and single use of the magical dimension hat. Besides that it looks exactly like the ones you use." I nodded and pulled out the hat from under the bed.
"You don't trust me?" He asked with a smirk as I laughed.
"I usually put legal favor, just checking what you put. Seems I got the better end of it." He frowned.
"Forgot about that." I shrugged.
"You know me enough to know I probably wont care. For now though here you go. Please remind him that he has a job to do now that he has the hat." He smiled.
"Of course Percy. And yes I know that isn't the favor." I laid back down with a sigh before pulling on Red's arm as Gold left the room.
"Please come back down." She sighed but nodded.
"That was creepy. You do know what he was like in my dimension right?" I nodded.
"Yup, I know. Still doesn't change anything. He was the first one to help me in town." She sighed and cuddled into my chest.
"Just gonna take some time top get used to." I kissed her head.
"Maybe, but you talk to Belle a lot right?" She nodded.
"Yeah, but her version of him is so different from what we were used to." I sighed.
"Ok, take your time then." She frowned.
"How can you trust him so much, I mean he did just break into your boat?" I groaned and reached behind me for the book about him.
"Tell no one what your about to learn." She nodded with a smile.
"Ok, so his tale begins with a happily married man with a child on the way who is drafted into the ogre war." She blinked.
"Wasn't that hundreds of years ago?" I nodded.
"Yes it was, now let me read." She giggled before nodding.
"Right so, when he arrived..." I read her the story of Rumpelstiltskin and his journey of heartbreak, raising his son, claiming power, and finally of guilt ridden deals.

Four days since Emma left and I drifted into the dock with Grumpy to see Charming, Emma, and a normal looking black haired man who vaguely resembled Gold. I jumped onto the dock as Grumpy grumbled and tied it up with Charming's help. I looked to Emma.
"I get my deckhand back?" She smirked but nodded. I turned to the man.
"My name is Percy. I cashed in a favor to have Emma track you down." He nodded with a sigh.
"Yes, I was told the entire story. I don't want to see my father." I frowned.
"Extra thousand dollars for a five minute talk with him." He narrowed his eyes before letting out a deep sigh.
"Deal, but I don't guarantee anything past that." I shrugged.
"He promised me a house if I can have you two talk, so that's fine with me. Please come with me to the dinner. Supper is on me." He nodded as I began to walk past as Emma chuckled.
"Percy, you smell like fish." I shook my head.
"How do I keep forgetting that?" I rinsed myself with ocean water as Gold's son chuckled.
"I see you have magic?" I nodded.
"Son of Poseidon, able to use magic inside and outside of this dome." He stumbled.
"The gods of Olympus..." I cut him off.
"Not in this dimension anymore, but yes." He took a breath.
"Nice to meet you Percy, my name is..."
"Baelfire." He sighed.
"I go by Neal here." I shrugged.
"Everyone here has two names. We will see which one I remember." He rolled his eyes.
"So dad really is willing to give you a house to talk to me?" I laughed.
"He was willing to give me anything, but I don't want to ruin our friendship so told him a house. When the curse took hold it gave him ownership of the entire town." He stumbled and shook his head.
"How did that happen?" I chuckled.
"He designed the curse and tricked the evil queen into using it to bring him to a 'world without magic'." He frowned.
"Why didn't he enact it?" I sighed and turned to meet his eyes.
"The key ingredient was the heart of the thing you love most. He physically couldn't, not that he would want to. Once you left he offered the blue fairy anything to help him join you, she wasn't able to help so he made the curse. He has regretted not going with you ever sense." I looked around then leaned in.
"If you can prove it's you I guarantee if you ask for possession of the dagger as a condition of staying he will give it to you." He shook his head.
"He wouldn't give up his power." I shook my head.
"Not at the time, but now I bet he would. Stay one week, talk to him everyday, then ask, if he says no, I give you my boat. If he says yes, than I get a wand from his collection." He blinked a few times.
"Lets see how the five minutes goes first. If I stay, then deal." We shook hands then started walking in silence."
Line break
I had been watching the father and son for 3 hours as I sipped whatever Red was bringing me. Apart from punching his father ten seconds in, it seemed to be going well. Red sat down next to me with a sigh.
"I am exhausted, can I get a foot rub?" I laughed.
"Of course you can beautiful." She smiled and leaned into me.
"How is it going?" I chuckled.
"Looks like I won the bet with the kid." She shook her head.
"You gamble too much." I chuckled.
"Is it gambling when I know the outcome already?" She groaned.
"Percy, if we start to live together, there will be a budget and only what I decide, you can gamble with." I frowned.
"What about what I make off the gamble?" She rolled her eyes.
"Fine, how about a reverse budget?" I frowned deeper.
"A what?" She chuckled.
"It's how I save money. I have my bills, food, and saving amount for each month on my fridge, whatever I end up with above that, I can do whatever I want with." I smiled.
"Wonderful idea. So that way if I start with say 1000 dollars and suddenly win 5000 than now I have 6000 to play with?" She nodded with a giggle.
"Till the next month, then everything goes into your savings, and it starts again." I gave her a look that she laughed at.
"But what if you agree with the bet?" She giggled.
"Fine we can work on it." I nodded.
"Good, for now though how about a nice walk on the beach." She smiled.
"I like that idea." We stood as I put down some money and we left with smiles on our faces.

Red and I were smiling at a house next to a small lake while Gold and Belle were next to us.
"Do you like it? I felt this would be ok for the deal." I nodded with a wide smile.
"Love it." Gold chuckled.
"Worth all the money you threw around to get my son here?" I froze for a moment before sighing.
"I knew he would hate you so I needed to give an incentive, the rest was up to you." He chuckled with a nod as we walked forward into the small house.
Line break
I was beyond happy with the house and Red was smiling next to me.
"Belle, Gold, this is amazing, thank you for this." Gold shook his head.
"No Percy, thank you." We shook hands as the girls scoffed and hugged each other.
"Rumple and I have to go. Neal is coming over tonight with Emma to tell us something. Hopefully it isn't bad." Gold sighed.
"I hope my son isn't dating her. They always seem to be upset with each other." Belle rubbed his arm.
"I am sure it will be fine, whatever happens." He nodded before opening the door and frowning.
"Percy, were you planning on the dwarves coming here today?" I frowned before Red and I went to the door to see five dwarves dragging two more. Grumpy walked right up to me.
"Percy, we need your help, Sneezy crossed the barrier and lost his memory. I crossed it to get him but was fine. When Doc joined me he lost his." I turned to Gold who was frowning.
"Percy gave you your memory correct?" Grumpy nodded with a frown. Gold turned to me.
"I would hypothesize, the ones you gave the memory too are immune to the barrier effects. Due to the containment of the cursed residence you are the one to allow people to remember." I groaned.
"Once again I am in demand, lets see if it is at least easier." I reached over to a flinching Sneezy and summoned the water to my hand from the pond. The two confused dwarves dropped to the ground holding their heads. When I used the water to touch Sneezy I pulled it back.
"The barrier in his mind is next to nothing. Shouldn't take as long." Grumpy nodded as the others picked up their brothers.
"Thank you Percy. Working tomorrow right?" I nodded.
"Yup, hatter came back with the payment from the other day, I have your portion in my safe." He nodded.
"Ok, is there a way we can cut down the trips?" He looked to his brothers who were carrying them up to the road.
"Happy checked the mine and found fairy dust. We are going to start mining here. Then once the Fairies get their wands we can work on this town more." I nodded.
"Tell Charming, Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday. 12 hours shifts each day. That should make up the difference." He smiled for a second.
"Thank you Percy. Would you be willing to take a look at my boat? See what's left to fix?" I chuckled.
"I can do that in the morning." He nodded before turning and leaving. Red hugged me.
"Did Grumpy just smile?" I nodded.
"That's good right?" Belle giggled.
"Let's go Rumple, we need to get ready." He nodded as they walked a little bit. Then between one step and the next they dissolved into smoke and left. Red giggled.
"Belle loves when he does that. Something about always kissing her when they arrive home." I chuckled and spun to face her.
"Can't let them have all the fun." I planted a passionate kiss on her lips and backed her into the house as I lifted her up.

Wednesday night and I was exhausted. Now I had four days off though. I had taken Grumpy's boat as a small project for my relaxing days, while Red worked would do that. Now however I was frowning as I drifted into the dock and the hatter was pacing around on it. Dropping to the wood I tied the first up as Grumpy did the next with Charming dropping down next to me.
"Percy, Percy, I, I found something, well I know about..." I covered his mouth.
"Relax, and think. I am not taking you from your daughter, she should be waiting at home for you even. Relax and tell me before I drag you to the cricket." He took deep breaths and shut his eyes.
"Right, your not the queen of hearts, I am ok." He took another deep breath.
"Right, so I found beans that could bring you to any dimension, however I am unable to get them." I nodded.
"SO, that was the panic, now what about why." He took another breath and rubbed the scar on his neck from when he gave bad news and was beheaded.
"The former fields are guarded by a giant." I took a breath.
"Right, talk with Gold, see if he has any ideas. Maybe the giant would be willing to come here and cultivate them." He nodded while taking deep breaths before taking his hat off and drying his forehead.
"Right, I will see you here for my deliveries soon." He ran up the dock.
"Talk to him tomorrow, go see your daughter for now!" I called as he stopped, nodded and ran off again.
"Trying to leave us Percy?" I shook my head at Charming.
"No, just want to visit other dimensions, not stay there." He nodded as Grumpy groaned.
"Visit for how long, I don't want to stay in the mine every day." I chuckled.
"No your gonna run my traps with Charming while I am gone, on your boat. Then I only get 25% cause they are my traps." Charming chuckled as Grumpy sighed.
"Then I get the fifty, but still, maybe I just buy my own traps?" I shrugged.
"Your choice, but tell me now cause if so I am not going to finish fixing your boat." He grumbled.
"Fine, it's fair at least." I chuckled.
"Hey Grumpy, when you were Leroy you really liked a nun, well now they are fairies instead of nuns. Should go see whats up. They are in a different dimension so normal things don't apply anymore." He grumbled and left. Charming shook his head and looked to me.
"Does Red know about you wanting to leave the dimension?" I smiled and nodded.
"She wants to meet my mom." He nodded.
"I think she would be really proud of you." I nodded back and put a hand on his shoulder.
"Thank you."

"I need to jump into the swirling vertex of doom?" I asked the hatter once he sent out the hat to bring me to the giant. Gold's only idea was to shove a mushroom I now had in my hand into the giant's mouth if he got violent. Hatter laughed loudly as he held a shrunken person in the box in his hand.
"Yes sir." I shook my head.
"And we plan to leave behind?" He chuckled as I truly began to realize how mad he became in the Queen's employ.
"The man who tried to rob me as I came out of the fish buyer." I shook my head at remembering the story of someone with a gun trying to rob him.
"Right. Back before Red gets out of work right?" He laughed and jumped in without saying a thing as I sighed and followed.
I landed in a room full of doors of all shapes, sizes and designs. Hatter chuckled at my look.
"This is why I could demand to be the one in charge. It's hard to figure out the different dimensions. Follow me." He said before I followed him through a plain old style door and into the light of dense woods. I chuckled as I felt the magic of this place and opened and shut my hands.
"The magic here is truly intense." He said before I nodded.
"Lets do it." He nodded and began to lead the way as I couldn't help but smile.

"You didn't mention climbing a beanstalk." I said as I looked up with the Hatter.
"I never said it would be easy. wasn't Poseidon the god of storms? Could you lift us in a hurricane?" I frowned and looked to him.
"One way to find out." I said before he went wide eyed as the clouds began to swirl. I laughed at the ease of the control I used. When it landed next to us I threw the Hatter into it as he screamed and shot up into the clouds. I laughed and jumped in myself as I couldn't help but laugh. The rush was beyond fun. I landed next to a groaning Hatter as I was still laughing.
"I hate you Percy." He said as he stood and cracked his back.
"Whatever you say, now where is the giant I need to convince?" He shook his head and pointed behind me. When I turned I frowned at the giant mansion.
"Right, that would make sense." We walked forward into the house. As I stepped in I yelled.
"HELLO, I WISH TO SPEAK TO THE GIANT IN CHARGE OF THE HOUSE!" The Hatter shook his head.
"How do we know he wont kill us?' I shrugged.
"We don't." I replied before I felt the earthquake as a giant came around the corner into the room at a run. I blinked in shock as I realized I wasn't even up to the guy's ankle. He had a trimmed beard, and he was pissed.
"I hate humans!" He yelled before running after us as I dragged Hatter to the side. Seeing the madness in his eyes I frowned. I really needed to set him up an appointment with the cricket whether he wants it or not. Pushing him down I let my battle instincts take over for the first time in a long time. I jumped out and ran into the next room as he followed easily. I froze for a second when I saw all the gold. Shacking my head I ran to a sword on the ground, taking it from the skeleton's hand and spinning as the giant froze and became worried. With a frown I looked at the blade and shook my head.
"Jake and the beanstalk." I looked to the growling giant who was looking around wildly.
"LET ME GUESS, THIS THING IS POISON!" He gulped but nodded.
"It killed my father." I threw it to the side with a sigh before he dove at me and picked me up. I really needed to start practicing again. Surrounding myself in ice I expanded it so he couldn't squash me before I threw the mushroom into his growling mouth. He dropped me as he coughed a bit and I landed on a bed of water. He dropped to his knees giving off an earthquake that dropped me to my knees before he shrank a lot. I ran to the piles of stuff and grabbed a long sword as he finally stopped coughing and took deep breaths.
"Still going to try to kill me? I didn't do anything before you tried before." He glared at me.
"Your kind killed all my family." I rolled my eyes.
"I didn't know you had demigods here." He blinked.
"Demigods? Are you the son of Demeter? The one who blessed my family with the beans?" I shook my head.
"Son of Poseidon, I am Demeter's Nephew." He nodded as he stood up, now only about 6'5".
"Please, kill me quickly, I am tired of being alone." He said with water filled eyes. I shook my head.
"I didn't come here to kill you. I was banished from my dimension and want to see my mother again. I want to make a deal with you about the portal beans." He shook his head.
"Bean." He sniffed in sadness.
"The humans robbed our fields and killed my entire family. There is only one bean left." I nodded with a frown.
"Your now human sized. If you come with me, I will introduce you to people who are nice. Including some Dwarfs and Fae. You wont have to interact with many humans at all if you don't want to." He thought for a moment as he sat on the ground.
"What would you ask me to do?" I smiled.
"Cultivate the beans. I wish to visit my mother, but I have no desire to leave the love of my life. I need to come back." He looked at his hands for a long time before nodding.
"Ok, I will come with you and grow the beans. Can you keep them protected? My father always said that I need to be careful who gets them cause they could be dangerous for an army to control." I nodded with a smile.
"I am owed a favor by the dark one, he will enchant an area for you to grow them. You will always know who is there and such." He nodded with a small smile. I held out a hand to him as he shook it.
"Pleased to meet you. My name is Percy." He nodded.
"My name is Anton, My lord." I rolled my eyes.
"Just Percy, no need for formality." He nodded as he stood up. Now that he was smaller I realized he was very heavy set.
"Are we going to die?" I heard from the entrance as Anton spun with wide eyes. I chuckled.
"Anton, meet my friend and servant, Hatter." He rolled his eyes but nodded.
"Anton was it? Nice to meet you." With a small glare Anton nodded and shook his hand. I sighed as I hefted the sword.
"Anton, gather yourself whatever you want to keep and lets head out." He nodded before looking down at himself.
"I suppose the clothes would be pointless?" I chuckled but nodded.
"I will buy you a new wardrobe. The dimension has different fashion anyway. My girlfriend will bring you out for some clothes while I make a deal with the dark one." He frowned.
"Human girlfriend?" I smirked.
"Werewolf." He smiled.
"So a nature oriented girlfriend. I can handle that." I looked to the Hatter.
"Prisoner?" He went wide eyed.
"Right." He put down the box and I opened the lid.
"Have fun thief." I said as the mouse sized man jumped out and ran away. I looked to him.
"He didn't have a family right?" Hatter shook his head.
"No, I wouldn't have been able to do this after what Regina did to me if he did." I nodded.
"Good. Throw the enlargement mushroom into the corner so he can get to normal sized eventually." He nodded as Anton went to the side and picked up a golden harp. I nodded at the former giant. He took a breath and nodded.
"This is all I need." I put a hand on his shoulder and met his eyes.
"You gonna be ok?" I asked as he nodded.
"I will be, I just have to get used to everything." I smiled at him before looking around.
"Lets find you a backpack. Some of this gold would be a good start for your new life." He smiled before sighing. We spread out and got to work.
Time Skip
Between the bags and the gold, then finding the portal again, we didn't get home until after midnight. Landing on the floor the Hatter dropped his bag and put on his hat. I sighed as Anton looked around.
"I am going to rent you a room for now. We will set you up in the morning." He nodded with a sigh.
"I understand. Thank you for the help." I nodded and opened the door to the outside before freezing at the giant wolf waking up, clearly waiting. I saw her eyes though and laughed.
"Red, I am so sorry, I forgot it was the full moon tonight, why didn't you say anything?" She whined and I rolled my eyes.
"Right, can't talk right now. Anyway, this is Anton. He plans to grow the beans for us so we can visit mom." Anton hesitantly stepped up and smiled.
"Nice to meet you Ms. Red. Once you are once again in a human form I would like to speak with you." I rolled my eyes as Red stepped back.
"Anton, like with me you don't need to be overly formal with her. She prefers to relax." He blushed but nodded.
"Sorry. Where would you like me to stay my lord?" I rolled my eyes as Red chuckled. I sighed and hoped he wouldn't be another blackjack.
"Is Granny still awake? I was gonna put him up in the motel." The wolf gave a nod as I gestured for him to follow me.
"Hatter, go to your daughter. I will call you when I have stuff for delivery." He nodded and skipped off. I sighed.
"Right, well lets go see Granny then we can get some sleep before we set to work in the morning." Everyone nodded and we left the building and headed for the dinner.
Time Skip
I had given Red a bunch of money when we woke up this morning and now I was walking to the pawn shop. Walking in I heard a sigh.
"Physical or magical? Just remember eve..."
"Everything comes with a price." I finished as some guy I didn't know came around the side to see me. He frowned.
"Who are you?" I went to speak when a cloud appeared in the middle of the shop revealing Gold and Belle.
"He is someone who you will treat with as much respect as you do me." He said giving the boy a look as he gulped and nodded rapidly. Gold gestured for me to follow him as Belle looked behind me as I chuckled.
"Red is helping a new person shop." She nodded and followed Gold with me. Once in the back we sat down.
"Who is the new guy?" I asked once we all took a seat. Gold sighed.
"With magic and memories back I was being annoyed by people. I also did not have much free time for Belle. The boy came in looking for a job. Said he used to be a mouse or something." I chuckled before nodding.
"Right, well I need to buy a few acres of land." He smiled.
"So the giant agreed?" I sighed and rubbed the back of my neck.
"Turns out the beans were originally from Demeter. Hero worship isn't a stretch." They both laughed at me as I rolled my eyes.
"Right, to business?" He nodded.
"I took the liberty of looking through my assets when you left and found a small three acre field that would never work for any kind of a building. It should however work for farming." I nodded.
"How much?"
"$10,000. I have no use for it anyway." I nodded.
"Loan?" He rolled his eyes and pulled out some papers.
"How much are you missing?" I thought for a moment.
"I have $4000 in this month's budget. Give me 6000 on a three month loan?" Belle elbowed him with a wide smile. He sighed and rolled his eyes.
"Belle has heard from Red about moonlight dinners. Make sure we have some lobster and I will cut the price to $9,500." I chuckled.
"Double date ok?" Belle smiled and clapped her hands.
"Rumple I am going to go talk to Red and pick a day." She said before kissing him and skipping out of the store as I chuckled. Gold sighed and rubbed his head.
"Let me write this up." I nodded knowing I could trust him.
"I also want to cash in the favor you owe me from the hat." He froze for a second before nodding and continuing.
"Who do I need to kill?" I laughed.
"Relax, I want a barrier around the field so that Anton can keep people out. If you could squeeze a temperature thing for better growing I would appreciate that too." He looked up and met my eyes.
"You could have had me do ANYTHING, and you choose something I wouldn't even charge you much for." I blinked.
"Well yeah, I have 25 favor contracts in my safe for the memories, I don't see the point in taking advantage of yours." He shook his head.
"Percy, the point of the..." Neal came in at that moment and froze and shook his head.
"Percy, sorry I was going to get you the wand I swear. I was just waiting for the right time." Gold blinked between me and his son.
"What wand?" I smirked.
"Just a wager I made with your son." Gold took a deep breath and continued writing.
"Bae, what did you wager?" He looked to me.
"When we were walking to the dinner that first day I didn't think I would stay past the paid for five minutes. He bet me that if I talked to you every day for a week and I asked for your dagger you would give it to me. If he won I was supposed to give him a wand from your collection." He sighed and waved a hand before smoke revealed a wand in front of me.
"Don't make deals with my son. He needs to focus on his son, not terms." I pocketed the wand before nodding.
"No problem, who is his son? I can loan him my bike to get him and put him up in the motel till he has a place?" Neal rubbed his eyes and spoke softly.
"Henry is my son." I blinked and looked between the two men before I burst into laughter surprising them.
"You spent so much time preparing to have true love in potion form, only for your son to make you family with the ingredients." I said while I was still laughing. I shook my head.
"Whoever is in charge of the fates of this world have a great sense of humor." He rolled his eyes and slid over the paperwork.
"Sign next to the X's." I nodded and did as he said before standing and nodding to them.
"Pleasure doing business with you." Neal shook his head.
"You sign his contracts without reading them?" I sighed.
"I trust him, plus Belle and my girl are best friends so I know he wont screw me, it would cause problems." Neal shook his head.
"Before you go… Henry talked a lot about his day fishing with you on the boat. Could I pay you to bring us out with his mom?" I looked to Gold.
"Can I make this deal with him?" He sighed.
"Cash transactions are fine, just don't make him sign anything." I nodded and held out a hand.
"Pick a day and assuming I am free than $200 for the day." He nodded and shook my hand.
"Will do." I left the shop with a smile on my face. Things are going great for once in my life.
Time Skip 2 months
I had five beans on my hip and one in my hand as I looked to Anton.
"Just throw it?" He nodded.
"Picture where you want to go and throw it down. The portal will last five minutes at most, or a few seconds after the ones you want are through it." I smiled.
"Thank you Anton." He nodded as I turned to the assembled people seeing Red and I off. She stopped hugging Granny and came over with a smile as I looked to everyone. There was Hatter, Charming, Snow, Regina, Henry, Belle, Gold, Neal, Emma, Grumpy and some former fairy he was holding the hand of. I nodded.
"We will be back." I took a breath and tossed the bean. When the swirling portal formed Red and I jumped into it.
Coming out the other side we fell on our sides before we were embraced and heard a child clapping. I looked up and couldn't hide the smile.
"Percy I have missed you so much, but you can't stay for long." I frowned.
"Mom, what do you mean?" She smiled with tears in her eyes.
"You can't keep Red away from her Granny. I am limiting you to 2 weeks. Now that that is out of the way." She said before smiling and wrapping Red in a tight hug and pulling her up.
"Estelle is your sister. Let me talk to your bride in the kitchen, the cookies are almost ready." I blinked as Mom smiled at me before dragging a wide eyed Red into the kitchen. I turned to Paul at a loss for words. He laughed and turned on the TV.
"We knew you would be coming today, just not the time." When the picture appeared I was shocked to watch a version of me aiming a gun at what had to be an alien or a monster. When the trigger was pulled a light shot out and he sat up and took out a device that showed a hologram of the victim. It put an x through his face and showed another. Paul put a hand on my shoulder and flipped the channel. Now there was a version of me sleeping in a trench underwater.
"Hephaestus gave us the ability to watch all the versions of you. We also have a highlight reel that takes out all the sleeping and such. All of you have made a name for yourself, although not all the stories are fun." I nodded with a frown before sitting down.
"So you guys know what you missed with me, what have I missed with you guys?" He smiled and picked up a little girl of about 3.
"Mostly this little girl, who watches your 'shows' to fall asleep. Your father did something to her and the one time we brought her to the beach crabs began to pile pearls at her feet." I chuckled before I took my sister in my arms.
"How are the other Me's doing?" He shook his head.
"All different, a couple died within a year and some, like mister sniper you saw are doing pretty well." I shook my head.
"A sniper?" He chuckled.
"Worked out a deal with Thanatos. For another one of you to get back to his kids." I blinked.
"I have children?" He smiled and nodded.
"A few of you do, yeah. Over the next 2 weeks you mom I am sure will talk about it with you. Now I have to ask. How did you not age when you went through this portal?" I went to answer when a sea breeze hit my nose.
"This portal had inert magic from the beans. Our portals he supplied the magic to keep him alive." I smiled and turned to my father. I handed my sister to Paul and hugged my father. He returned it.
"Percy, you have no idea how proud I am in all your selves. I am sorry for how I treated you all along. One of you pointed it out and many of us gods now feel ashamed." I shook my head.
"Don't worry about it dad." Feeling a rubbing on my back I saw Mom. I hugged her properly this time before dragging Red into a family hug. Once we broke apart dad sighed.
"Sorry Percy, I will let you get back to your reunion. Please pick a day for us to talk more." I nodded and he dissolved and I hugged Mom again. Mom rang her hands.
"Percy, can we talk? I want to catch you up on everything and listen to what your thoughts were on some things. I saw everything, but unless you said it I couldn't hear it." I nodded.
"I would like that." We sat down while holding hands and she sighed deeply.
"There are also some of yourselves I want you to help me fix." I frowned but nodded.
"I will see what I can do." She nodded.
"That is all I ask." She kissed my cheeks before handing me my sister and sitting next to me. She began to talk about how once I left dad stepped up and made sure she would be ok and not have to worry about money anymore, the pearls. Finally we talked about how I feel about Red, and why she didn't have a ring on her finger yet. I chuckled but couldn't think of anywhere I would rather be.
