Rule Three: Pranks or jokes must happen at least once a day. Laughter is good medicine for the soul! Always prank the man known as Hisashi Midoriya.
Izuku Midoriya knew his father Hisashi had both himself and his mom because he had been labeled Quirkless. He also knew that the only reason he came back was because he wasn't labeled with that title anymore.
It had started after his second rule had been made. He had seen a inspiration poster saying that laughter was good medicine when he went shopping with his mother. So, he had asked his mother how to make people laugh. Of course, the innocent, green-haired mother of a six year old would never expect her baby to do her suggestions, especially on a daily basis.
She had told the 'innocent' Izuku what puns were. She told about knock knock jokes. She explained about pranks that people could play on others.
Izuku waited after the groceries were away and his mom was out of the room to ask his father his first joke. If it could be called that.
"Hey dad?"
"Yes son?" Hisashi Midoriya asked his not so worthless son that he had come back to visit from over seas. His black curly hair fell into his eyes.
"How many dad's does it take to change a light bulb?"
Hisashi frowned. "One."
His six year old son stared at him with a wide smile. The man gulped. "Wrong." Izuku said quietly. His left eye started to glow a toxic green and the white of his eyes faded to black. "None. I have a mom to do it for me." With that Izuku turned away from the man and started to sing a jolly tune that Hisashi could hear. A shiver went down the mans spine as he heard the first words. "It's a beautiful day outside, birds are singing, flowers are blooming, on days like these..." Izuku passed the rooms exit leaving the man stunned on his feet.
The next morning the man drank his coffee only to spit it out onto the floor.
Inko rushed to the man. "Honey are you okay?"
The man gagged. "Their was salt in my coffee?" He looked at his son who grinned as Inko rushed to get him a glass of water to rinse his mouth and figure out what happened.
"That sounds terrible dad! Are you alright?" Izuku's expression had a fake air of innocence that neither parent could catch. Then he said it low enough that only his father could hear him as Inko moved glasses and ran the water. A toxic green entered his left eye slowly as he stared at the man. The venom could be practically felt in his words.
"Do you need some more sugar to sweeten your life? Or do you need more salt for that open wound you gave my mom?" Hisashi looked at him as though he was struck.
Inko turned around and handed her husband some water. The clanking of the water glass being set in front of him shook him from the daze he had gotten himself into."I'm sorry. I have no idea how that happened."
"It's fine..." Hisashi waved her off with a grin. "Don't worry!"
Hisashi came out of the shower feeling fine. His shampoo felt different, but he shook it off as something he didn't need to worry about. That is, until Inko laughed at him and pointed to his hair.
He went back into the bathroom to look at his hair. Pink. Neon pink covered every inch of former black hair.
When he accused Izuku for it, Inko chuckled. "The boy couldn't hurt a fly if he tried. Don't worry. Boys will be boys. Its just a phase. After all, he just asked me yesterday on how to make people laugh. I am sure it's all fun and games Hisashi."
That was just the beginning.
