A/N: Hello my lovely readers! I'm so sorry that I haven't been able to update lately. I've been so busy with school and just haven't had the time. Please don't kill me haha. But my winter break comes along this week so I should have plenty of time to make it up to you guys! Now I owe you a long chapter because I let you guys have a gigantic cliffy last time! Now enjoy!

Bella POV: Embry and I were walking back into the house laughing and happy, with our arms wrapped around each other. We had just been building sand castles "Bella," Embry said. "I love you so mu-"
"WHAT IN THE HECK ARE YOU DOING HERE?!" We heard Quil's outraged voice at the door. Embry and I looked at each other, alarmed and we took each other's hands and ran to the entryway.
"Quil what's going on?" I said. He didn't give me an answer, though; because at that exact moment I saw him. He looked absolutely livid, shaking with fury as he stared at my Embry. It was Jacob.
"I want to talk to him," Jacob snarled, pointing at Embry. "He knew," Jake growled. "He knew I loved her, she's mine."
Embry let go of my hand and stepped forward, his eyes narrow and his chest puffed out. "Are you serious, dude? First of all, you left Bella alone. She doesn't belong to you, or anyone for that matter. She isn't some trophy that you own, man. Besides you missed your chance. We're happy together. Why can't you just accept that and leave us alone?"
Jake snorted. "Because I know you, Call," he stepped forward, nose to nose with Embry (or he would be if he wasn't so freakishly tall). "She's your only girlfriend, the only one you're ever going to have actually because you're stupid and shy. But you're going to end up hurting her. And then she'll come running to me."
Embry began to shake with rage. "You have no place to tell me that," he snarled. "You're no better than Edward Cullen the way you abandoned her."
And then to the shock of all of us, Jacob let a very animalistic roar and transformed into a giant wolf, triple his own size, and he sliced the coffee table in half. Next thing I knew I was being pushed away from my boyfriend and Quil and they disappeared, giant gray and brown wolves taking their places.
The two wolves tackled the one that was Jacob and they all three rolled outside clawing and snapping at one another as I thrashed against the pair of arms holding me back.
"Let go of me!" I yelled struggling even more.
"Would you relax?" said the voice… Jared Cameron's voice. "It's all going to be alright, Bella."
Just hearing him say those words irked me to no end. "How on earth can you possibly believe it's all going to be alright? How can you of all people tell me that? You guys took away my best friend, and now you're going to take away my boyfriend and my other best friend too? It's not fair! I've already lost so much!" I began to shake and I realized for the first time since before I started to hang out with Quil and Embry… I was crying.
Jared gently rocked me back and forth and gave me a reassuring squeeze. "We aren't going to take them away, Bella. Not this time. Sam's just trying to get all three of them to calm down, and then we're going to tell you exactly what's been going on with all of them."
"But why would they all turn into gigantic dogs?" I asked, confusedly. And then it dawned on me. That day Jake and I walked on the beach, the day he told me what Edward was… he told me what he was too, what they all are.
"Werewolves," I whispered hoarsely.
"You know?" said Jared bewilderedly.
"Jake," I sputtered. "When I first moved here I wanted to know what Edward was. At the time Jake and I didn't believe the legends, so he told me everything. What the Cullens are, what you guys are, the treaty. I just never put it together. I should have known."
Jared patted my back awkwardly. "Hey, it's okay. I wish Jake had remembered that. Would've saved us so much headache when he first turned. But at least now you can still be around Embry and Quil. I don't blame you if you don't want to be around Jake just yet. Just hear him out when he tells you what he has to say. Okay?"
I can't make any promises.
He sighed. "Yeah I guess that's an unfair thing of me to ask. But he does love you Bella. More than you realize. And he's not happy about you and Em… but he'll learn to live with it. Just give him some time."
Before I could answer all the guys came in to the house again; each one of them hugging me as they passed. It was actually kind of strange to hug Sam and Paul, they felt like my brothers. So did Quil, but I was used to that.
When Jacob held up his arms for a hug, I just walked away. I cared about him, he was my friend regardless. I just can't handle any apologies or forgiveness right now.
The last to walk in was Embry. When our eyes met it seemed like time stopped. All our other ties to the world cut off. It was only him and I in that moment.
I wanted to say something to him, hug him, tell him I love him, just so I could hear his voice. But before I could even open my mouth I heard a crash and then Sam's voice saying, "And just when we thought he'd calmed down, Embry imprints on her."
