Kagome ran up the stairs to her house and flew through the front doors. "Mama~!" She cried out as she opened up the fridge and pulled out a juice box, a big 'Apple 100%' ran across the front in bright red. "Mama!"

Leaving the kitchen, she turned the corner and glanced through the doors in search of her mother, or at the least, her brother. Glancing to the front door before going all the way up stairs, Kagome sighed irritably as she realized why she wasn't receiving a reply. Walking to the front door, she crouched down with her knees drawn to her chest, her straw between her lips as she looked on at the pair of men's shoes in front of her. Grabbing the shoes, she took the brown fake leather jacket from the hook and made her way upstairs.

"Mama!" She called as she got closer to her mother's bedroom door. The sound of thumping could be heard, no doubt from her mom trying to quickly dress, or perhaps hide the man in her bed from her daughter. Not that Kagome cared. Her mother and father had divorced back when she was four, far too young to remember her father, much less care about her mom sleeping around. Kagome opened the door and let it open the rest of the way as she watched humorlessly as the man dived to the other side of the bed to hide himself from view.

"...Kagome..." her mom was flushed, smiling sheepishly, she pulled her robe tighter around her waist. "Your home awfully early."

"...yes, well, it was early release today." Kagome threw the man's shoes and jackets to the same side of the bed he was hiding behind. "Souta will be home in another thirty minutes. You may want to clean yourself up."

Leaving the door wide open as she turned and left to her own room. Her bedroom was filled with botany, hundreds of different flowers and shrubs filled the displays along her walls. Customized with timed sprinklers and panels that she could left to care for each plant individually, Kagome had her own green house in her room. It was her private collection. The plants which had locks on the panel doors were either poisonous or just dangerous to the touch altogether. On her desk were different sets of tarot cards and some other wiccan trinkets that would probably get her shunned socially if it was a known hobby, this being the reason why she chose to keep it to herself. Only the Regulars of Rikkai Dai and a select few others knew of her strange pastime.

Listening as the sound of feet could be heard shuffling past her door, Kagome opened the glass door to one of her rose shrubs. A beautiful blue rose was beginning to bloom, cultivated by herself, as blue roses actually didn't really exist. They weren't natural, but they were absolutely beautiful when cultivated the right way.

"Kagome, what was it you needed?"

Turning around, Kagome smiled. "I wanted to know if I could take the limo tomorrow. I scheduled an outing for Seiichi with the hospital."

Her mother who was now dressed in a paisley cropped dress the hung off her shoulders, scrunched up around her bust before falling in asymmetrical layers around and about her knees, looked much more charming now that she wasn't frolicking with some nobody man she'd most probably never see again after today. Giving a small nod, she walked in and leaned forward to look at the blue roses that Kagome stood by, carefully trimming off the dead leaves of the shrub. "This one looks ready to shine, very beautiful."

"Thanks, Souta...he wants me to teach him, but I'm not sure if I want him in my room with the others. I was thinking of setting up a glass terrain similar to these in the corner of his room. It would take me a couple weeks to set it up, but after that, he'd be able to care for the plant under his own term."

"I can ask for-"

"No! None of your escapades are setting anything up in this house; by the way, who was that one. He looked familiar."

Her mother chuckled, "I'm not too surprised that you recognized him. He lives a few houses up the street."

"...wait...isn't he married?"

"Not really married..."

"He's married."

Her mother pouted, "His wife said it was an open marriage."

"Uh...huh. So what...does his kids think about this open marriage?"

"What do I care, it's not like he'll be welcomed back here."

Shaking her head, Kagome shut the door to her rose and turned on the warm light for her plants. "I'm going to see Genichirou-Kun, I'll be back before it gets dark."

"Right, right...oh, pick up my package from the post, I forgot to do it earlier, so grab it on the way back."

Kagome rolled her eyes before leaving.

Stepping out of his house, Sasuke ran past a girl who was making her way to his front door. Pausing to stare after her as she walked up to the steps, she never noticed when he ducked around the corner out of her sight to see who she was. Really, he'd never seen her before. 'Maybe she's a study buddy...?'

"Genichirou-Kun," she smiled and wrapped her arms around the Rikkai Dai's vice captain's neck.

The boy's eyes widened as he watched from a distance. He had never seen his Uncle smile like that, much less...kiss a girl...whoever this girl was.

"Did you get back from Seiichi?"

"Ah, yeah...I stopped by my house first...that was interesting."

Genichirou sat down on the step outside the house, closing the door so not to be overheard by his parents. Not that he really cared if they heard anything he had to say. "Another guy?"

"Our neighbor...one of them...at least." Kagome sighed, shaking her head, she smiled, "enough about that. Seiichi gets a day out of the hospital, I was thinking we could take him to the Art Museum or, maybe the beach..."

"How about both?"

Kagome smiled, but a frown was quick to replace it, "I miss him. I haven't been able to play seriously...since he was hospitalized."

Nodding, Genichirou pulled Kagome into his lap, "I know how you feel. I'm the same, I honestly feel as if his departure from the school has left me almost feeling lethargic."

Kagome turned in his lap and straddled the vice-captain, "let's destroy Fudoumine, I want to bring Seiichi good news!"

Leaning forward, Genichirou pressed his forehead to hers, eyes meeting before he pressed his lips to hers.

This was the Rikkai Dai's manager, and their precious flower. She was the only thing that meant the world to the team as a whole. They each loved her, none fought over her, and she loved all of them in return. She was a peacekeeper...and honestly, she was their keeper.

"We will win..." he whispered into the kiss.
