Howdy howdy, I've finally managed to get around to typing this chapter! Enjoy! Or not…it's up to you…

Disclaimer: Woody is a cowboy, yet doesn't have a southern accent. I write Ranma, yet I don't own it.

Ranma's POV

Ryoga was back in town. He probably hadn't meant to, but with his sense of direction, or lack thereof, I couldn't be sure.

"So Ryoga, what brings you here?" I asked

"Ranma, just the guy I was looking for!" Ryoga declared

"Whatever it is that you think I did to Akane, it wasn't my fault!" I shouted while making warding gestures

"For once, I'm not here to try and pound your face in," Ryoga responded calmly

"Oh really? Then what are you here for P-chan?" I asked suspiciously and he then pulled out a slip of paper

"I'm here to try and make amends for what I've done. I just so happened to run across this map to a Japanese Nanniichuan. I figure getting rid of both our curses would be a nice start in redeeming myself," Ryoga explained

"Really? You're not just pulling my leg?" I said

"Take a look for yourself," Ryoga then offered the slip of paper to me. On it was a story of a bunch of foxes that an old monk took care of by dunking the foxes in a spring, which changed them into young men. There was also a map on it.

The next day, we followed the map's directions and ended up in a field behind Furinkan High. There we found a fox statue and according to the map, the spring was 100 steps from where the fox pointed. Unfortunately, it seemed to be in the girl's locker room. Even more unfortunate, the girls had booby trapped the whole area against Happosai.

"Ranma, Ryoga, what are you two doing back here?" Akane growled at us. Rather than try to explain and end up tripping over my words, I just handed Akane the map. She read it, her expression changing from anger to concern.

"Does this mean what I think it means?" She asked

"If ya think it means there's a Nanniichuan under the girl's locker room, then you're right," I answered and mutterings broke out amongst the gathered girls. They knew enough to know what I was talking about.

"What are we gonna do? We can't very well go back in there knowing the danger!" One of the girls exclaimed and most agreed

"There's only one thing we can do," Akane said, "Dig it up, let Ranma and Ryoga use it, and then drain it so we don't have to worry about it."

With the course of action decided, Akane cleaned out the locker room and then she and Ryoga got to work with their breaking point technique. It didn't take long for water to come shooting out, but it turned out to just be the water main. However, we also found a blue urn.

None of us knew what it was, so we took it to the one person most likely to know something about it: the Old Hag.

"Well look at that, I thought this thing was just make believe. How'd you punks get your hands on this?" Cologne asked when she laid eyes on it. Ryoga handed her the map and she read it. She told us that there were two urns, the one we had found and then a second one. If we took them both to the right place at the right time, a Spring of Drowned Man would appear.

Cologne was then nice enough to point us in the right direction of the second urn. Naturally, Shampoo and Mousse both tagged along.

After wandering through most of the district, we finally wound up at an old mansion. According to the map, the second urn was in there somewhere. Of course, our luck had been too good, so the place just had to be the Kuno's estate.

We all knew Kuno would sooner adopt Ryu as his brother than let us in, so we let ourselves in. I shouldn't have been surprised to find the place was booby trapped out the kazoo. Then we met Sasuke and he managed to get himself with one of his own traps, so we continued on.

Not long after, we ran into Kodachi. I managed to avoid being seen, but Akane, Ryoga, and Mousse in duck form weren't so lucky. In the confusion, the three of them fell into a secret passage and me and Shampoo fell into another one. Thankfully, we were able to find each other. Unfortunately, Sasuke found us and activated some kind of giant lottery ball machine.

"Kuno house of gadgets special attack number 1: WHEEL OF DEATH!" Sasuke shouted and then jumped in with us. After harassing us with a supped up paddle ball, he opened up a bunch of trap doors and we all fell in different holes. I was knocked out and had a dream. In it, I had somehow ended up running into Kuno.

I told him what was going on in a vain hope of getting him to hand it over, but I should have known better. He attacked, but I got away and found the urn. Then I woke up. Shampoo and I had gotten dumped into a giant washing machine. Shampoo and I had to climb onto a ball that had followed us in to avoid changing. That plan failed as soon as the 'spin' cycle started up.

I wound up going into the Cat Fist and we made our escape. I don't remember what happened, but according to Shampoo, we wound up getting washed outside with Kodachi, who had been searching for me. When I snapped out of it, I was in a hot spring and had both Shampoo and Kodachi fighting over me. Kuno then attacked and by sheer dumb luck, we uncovered the urn.

I probably should have been more suspicious at the time, but I was too consumed with thoughts of being cured. Of course having such good, luck would inevitably mean I was going to get hammered in the near future…figuratively or literally.

We took the urn to the Old Ghoul and she led us to the spot where the urns were going to be placed. We wound up high in the mountains and found the place. Cologne then told us that once the first star appeared in the sky, the spring would come forth.

Sure enough, when the star appeared, water came pouring out of the urns and pooled in a small indent in the rock. We all jumped in once it was full. Then we found out it was out of service…

"WHY DOES THIS ALWAYS HAPPEN?!" I shouted in anguish while Mousse and Ryoga were crying in their respective animal forms. That's how the search for the Japanese Nanniichuan came to an end with three poor fools cursing their luck.

In the anime, there are three urns and in the manga, there's only one. I met them half way and had two urns. Thanks for reading and don't forget to leave a review!
