XenoBlaze here with another chapter. Quick note, I was gonna do a massive update for my fics. But I got busy with some things and was away from my computer. My next update will be for Wagtai Kunoichi. Then I'm taking a break to recharge. If I don't update before December is up, then I'll see you next year. Now, let's get to it.
As usual, I own nothing.
While Setsuna was attending to her business, Momonga headed to the sixth floor amphitheater. There, he met up with the dark elf twins created by Bukubukuchagama. Aura Bella Fiora and Mare Bello Fiore. Just as with Albedo, Sebas and the Pleiades, the dark elf NPC's have become real as well.
During his stay at the amphitheater, Momonga tested the Staff of Aniz Ooal Gown. Not only does it's functions still work, Momonga discovered that he can use his skills and magic without the need of pushing a button. The elder lich had summoned a Primal Fire Elemental for the elf twins to fight. During the fight, Momonga had gotten a Message from Sebas. The butler said he would explain things further once he returned.
Aura and Mare were rewarded for their hard work and were told that the other Guardians would be arriving soon. Aura was a little upset that Shalltear would be coming. But both she and Mare perked up when Momonga said that Setsuna would be present as well.
As Momonga conversed with the twins, a Gate suddenly appeared.
"My, my. It appears I'm the first to arrive." A haughty female voice said.
Stepping out of the Gate was a young woman of short stature and has the appearance of a buxom fourteen-year-old girl. She has pale shiny skin, seductive crimson-red eyes, and fine facial features. Her silver hair is tied in a ponytail through a large ribbon on top of it all. She wears a soft black evening dress with a big heavy skirt. Her upper body is dressed in a lace embellished ribbon and a short tailored jacket. Her hands are donned with long lace gloves, not exposing any bit of skin exterior.
This is Shalltear Bloodfallen. A True Vampire. And Guardian of the first, second and third floors of Nazarick.
Upon seeing Momonga, Shalltear rushes to him and glomps him.
"Lord Momonga! The one man I can never rule above! Sahlltear says with a blush.
"Wha- Hey!" Momonga thinks.
"Stop Shalltear. Your starting to slobber on him." Aura says with a frown.
Upon hearing Aura, Shalltear releases Momonga and turns to Aura with a smirk.
"Hello half pint." Shalltear says. "I didn't realize you were here." Aura becomes annoyed at Shalltear's comment. "Having such a foolish older sister must be difficult Mare. However do you manage it?"
Mare looks at his sister with worry while Aura herself becomes even more annoyed.
"Miss fake tits." Aura says.
"What?!" Shalltear says incredulously as she covers her chest.
"Just as I thought." Aura says with a mocking smirk. "That's why you went through the trouble of using a Gate. You were rushing, but since you stuffed your top so much, you were worried they'd shift if you ran here."
"How dare you!" Shalltear exclaims. "I'll have you know these are my real breast! Besides, your one to talk. You've got nothing but a boys chest."
"True. But I'm only seventy-six years old." Aura says. "I can still develop. Unlike you with your undead body."
"You bitch! My breast are not fake!" Shalltear exclaims as she rushes over to Aura.
The two begin their shouting match, while Momonga looks at the two with nostalgia. Looking at the two, Momonga is reminded that Shalltear and Aura's creators were brother an sister. The two would argue just like Shalltear and Aura.
"What a ruckus." A booming voice says.
Everyone turns to see what looks like a large insectoid warrior approach them. His name is Cocytus. Guardian of the fifth floor of the Great Tomb. And the personification of the term "warrior".
"Stop acting like children in front of the master." Cocytus says.
Shalltear ignores Cocytus in favor of preparing two fire spells to fling at Aura.
"I'll stop once this elf bitch pays with her life!" Shalltear exclaims with her eyes glowing.
In response to Shalltears threat, Aura readies her whip. "Try it vamp!"
Cocytus then taps his hallbird on the ground and freezes the patch of land Shalltear and Aura are standing on to get their attention.
"That's enough!" Momonga exclaims with a dark aura surrounding him. Making him even more intimidating. Shalltear and Aura then stand at attention. "Shalltear. Aura. We do not have time to play around."
"Forgive me my lord!" Shalltear and Aura say with a submissive bow.
Momonga turns his to Cocytus. "I'm glad you could come Cocytus."
"I will always come when you call." Cocytus says with an icy steam blowing from his face.
"Mm. Good work." Momonga says.
"Sorry everyone." A voice says. "I hope you weren't waiting for too long."
Everyone turns their attention to Albedo walking along with a demon wearing a orange business suit and glasses. Demiurge. The guardian of the seventh floor. In the event that Nazarick is in a crisis, he is to lead the other NPC's in defense.
With the Guardians assembled, Albedo addresses her lord. "As ordered my lord. All but the Guardians of the fourth and eighth floors have assembled."
"Mm. Good work Albedo." Momonga says. "Now we just need-"
Before Momonga can continue, a Gate appears. Everyone turns to see Setsuna stepping out of the portal with Ophis.
"Apologies for the wait Momonga." Setsuna says. "My outing took longer than expected."
Everyone is shocked and in awe of seeing the dog demoness.
"Ah! Setsuna-sama!" Aura exclaims with joy.
Unknown to everyone else, Shalltear looks at Setsuna with a flushed face. She even looks to be squirming a little.
Setsuna's gaze falls on to the Guardians. She then moves to Aura and Mare. As the two dark elves gaze at their mistress, Setsuna places her hands gently on their heads. She then gives a small smile.
"Aura. Mare. It's good to see you." Setsuna says.
"Ah! Thank you my lady!" The twins replied.
Setsuna then turns her attention to Cocytus and Demiurge. "Cocytus. Demiurge. This one is happy to see you're in good health."
"You honor us my lady." Cocytus says while Demiurge simply bows to his mistress.
Setsuna then turns her attention to Shalltear. What grabs the dog demoness' attention is the fact that A.)Shalltears eyes are shadowed by her hair, B.)The vampire was breathing heavily and C.)She was squirming.
"Shall-" Setsuna says.
Before Setsuna could finish, Shalltear looks up to her. Revealing her flushed face and wide eyes. (Hello rape face XD)
"SETSUNA-SAMA!" Shalltear exclaims as she leaps into the dog demoness arms. She then begins to motorboat Setsunas large chest. "My eternal beloved! The woman who holds my heart!
Everyone present is shocked at Shalltears shameless display. Well, except Ophis and Aura. The former thinking nothing of it while the latter feeling jealousy towards the vampire.
"GET OFF OF SETSUNA-SAMA RIGHT NOW VAMP!" Aura exclaims in jealously and anger.
"The nerve of you! Approaching a Supreme Being in such a manner!" Albedo says. Although she gives Momonga a side glance. "Lucky."
Meanwhile, Setsuna herself just stood in place. Stoned faced. But inside...
"AAAAAAAAAAAAAAH!" Setsuna thinks. Once again, a wave of calm envelops Setsuna as she is forcibly calmed down. She then looks to the vampire still motorboating her. Regardless of everyone else's protests. "Shalltear."
"Yes my beloved mistress?" Shalltear asked as she stares at Setsuna with love on her face.
"If you are quite done, we do have more pressing matters." Setsuna says.
Just like that, Shalltear snaps out of her daze. She then let's go of Setsuna and quickly falls back in line with the other guardians.
"Please forgive my behavior Setsuna-sama!" Shalltear exclaims with a submissive bow.
"You were simply excited to see me." Setsuna says. "There's nothing to forgive."
"If I may interject Setsuna-sama?" Demiurge asked. All eyes turn to him as the demon points to Ophis. "Who exactly is this? She arrived here with you, so I must assume she's one of your subjects."
"You are correct Demiurge." Setsuna says. "This is Ophis. She's a natural shapeshifter with power worthy of her title. The Ouroboros Dragon."
"Wait! She's a dragon?" Aura asked.
"The Dragon of Infinity?" Demiurge asked while adjusting his glasses. "Interesting title."
"If she's a shapeshifter, why does she dress like Shalltear?" Aura asked.
"And what's wrong with the way I dress?" Shalltear asked with a glare.
"Ophis. These are your comrades. Greet them." Setsuna says.
Ophis stares at the denizens of Nazarick. After a few moments, she points to each of them one by one.
"Yandere. Necrophiliac. Sadist. Bug-man. Tomboy. Trap." Ophis says with a straight face.
"WHAT?!"
Setsuna sighs while pinching the bridge of her nose. "Forgive Ophis. She's rather blunt with her assumptions. She'll have to open up to you first." Setsuna then gestures to Momonga. "Ophis. This is Momonga. My trusted friend."
Ophis stares at Momonga for a moment before giving the elder lich a curtsy. "Greetings Momonga-sama."
"And she addresses him properly." Everyone sans Momonga thinks with a deadpan.
"Welcome Ophis." Momonga says. He then examins Ophis. "She must be one of Setsuna's NPC's. For her to have a title like "Dragon of Infinity", she must be powerful."
"Now, everyone. Let us pledge our fidelity." Albedo says.
"I am the guardian of the first, second and third floors, Shalltear Bloodfallen." The vampire says with a bow. "I serve and obey the supreme ones.
"The guardian of the fifth floor, Cocytus." The insectoid says with a bow. "I serve and obey the supreme ones."
"I am the guardian of the sixth floor, Aura Bella Fiora." The female elf says.
"I am her brother and also guardian of the sixth floor, Mare Bello Fiore." The male elf says.
"We serve and obey the supreme ones." The twins say with a bow.
"The guardian of the seventh floor, Demiurge." The demon says with a bow. "I serve and obey the supreme ones."
"The Ouroboros Dragon of the Crescent Moon Palace, Ophis." The loli dragon says with a bow. "I serve and obey the supreme ones."
"The leader of the guardians, Albedo." The succubus says with a bow. "I serve and obey the supreme ones." Albedo looks up to her masters. "Supreme ones, please bestow your orders to us."
The supreme ones look at there guardians. The thought of how much Yggdrasil has changed still on their minds.
"Raise your heads." Momonga says as his dark aura surrounds him.
"Jezz, can he look anymore depressed and hopeless?" Setsuna thinks. Unknowing that the elder lich himself was thinking the same thing. Though, Setsuna herself isn't aware that she's subconsciously leaking out HER power as well.
"I am very pleased you all could come." Momonga says. He then glances at Setsuna. "We both are."
Setsuna simply nods her head.
"Your thanks are wasted on us. We've pledge ourselves to you my lord and mistress." Albedo says. "I fear that our abilities may not live to your expectations. Despite this, we will strive to meet them in honor of our blessed creators. This we vow!"
"This we vow!" The guardians say as one.
"Just as I thought." Setsuna thinks. "Just like Ophis, the guardians are loyal to me and Momonga." Setsuna smiles faintly. "Then again, they're kinda like our children."
"Splendid! I have no doubt you'll serve us well!" Momonga says.
The guardians faces light up at Momongas words. Even the faintest of smiles can be seen on Ophis' face.
"Now then, the situation outside of the Great Tomb of Nazarick is currently unknown." Momonga says. He then looks to his left to see Sebas has returned and awaits his orders. "With that in mind, I've sent Sebas to survey the surrounding area."
"Sebas, report your findings." Setsuna says as the butler comes closer to the others. He then kneels.
"At once, Setsuna-sama." Sebas says. "It would seem we have been transported to a grassland area."
"Grasslands?" Momonga says in confusion. Setsuna narrows her eyes.
"Yes. I'm afraid the Great Tomb of Nazarick is no longer surrounded by the swamps." Sebas says. "We are completely isolated. No signs of life within a one-kilometer radius."
"Good work Sebas." Momonga says.
"This is troubling." Setsuna says.
"Yes. It's as we suspected." Momonga says. "Somehow, the Great Tomb of Nazarick has been mysteriously transported to an unknown location."
"May I make a suggestion?" Setsuna asked.
"Of course." Momonga says with a nod.
"Floor guardian leader Albedo. Defensive leader Demiurge." Setsuna says.
"Milady." The two say.
"Fortify our defenses and work on a way to strengthen our information gathering." Setsuna says. "Once this meeting is done, I shall see if the residents of the Crescent Moon Palace can aid you."
"Excellent idea." Momonga says. "Be sure to follow their lead floor guardians."
"Understood." The guardians replied.
"Mare, is there a way to conceal the Great Tomb of Nazarick?" Momonga asked.
"Y-yes. Though it will be difficult using just magic." Mare says. "If we cover the walls with dirt and vegetation, it would conceal us well."
"You would sulley the glorious Great Tomb with dirt?" Albedo asked in a dark tone.
"Albedo! Don't make needless remarks." Momonga scolds.
"Forgive me my lord." Albedo says in submission.
"Will the dirt be sufficient Mare?" Setsuna asked.
"Y-yes. As long as you allow it." Mare says. "Though..."
"Right." Momonga says catching on. "A random mound would look unnatural." Momonga turns to Sebas. "Sebas, were there any hills around the area?"
"No. The area is barren." Sebas says. "There are flatlands as far as the eye can see."
"Then create dummy hills to blend in with our surroundings." Setsuna says. "That should be sufficient, right?"
"Yes. I believe so." Sebas says.
"Then that is what we shall do." Momonga says.
"We can cover the open areas with illusion magic afterwards." Setsuna says.
"Indeed." Momonga says with a nod.
"Of course. It will be done." Mare says.
Momonga pauses briefly before speaking again. "Lastly, there's a question I would like to ask each floor guardian to answer." Momonga turns to Shalltear. "First Shalltear. In your own words, what are your opinions of us?"
Shalltear looks at Momonga with a blush. "Beauty incarnate, my lord" Shalltear then turns to Setsuna. Her blush darkens as she looks at her mistress. "And you are the personification of perfection my lady. As well as the woman who makes my undead heart flutter."
Setsuna's eyebrow twitches slightly and gains a faint blush. "Peroroncino-san, you copied a bunch of fetishes into her settings, didn't you?" Setsuna thinks.
"Cocytus?" Momonga says.
"A man whose strength is unrivaled by any guardian." Cocytus says. "Setsuna-sama is a woman whose strength is only rivaled by you my lord. Both of you are truly worthy of ruling Nazarick."
"Arua?" Momonga says.
"Compassionate my lord." Aura says. "Setsuna-sama is tough but fair. And the both of you are always three steps ahead of the game."
"Mare?" Momonga says.
"You're both leaders who are kind and merciful." Mare says.
"Demiurge?" Momonga says.
"A man who make wise decisions and acts upon them efficiently without hesitation." Demiurge says. "Also, your enigmatic nature makes it impossible for anyone to predict you. Coupled with Setsuna-sama's ruthless, calculating and cunning mind, you're the ultimate duo."
"Sebas?" Momonga says.
"The leaders of all the Supreme Beings." Sebas says. "And even though the other creators have left us behind, both of you mercifully stayed until the very end."
"Ophis?" Momonga says.
"God's among us." Ophis says. "None of us would be here without you."
"And lastly, Albedo." Momonga says.
"The highest ranking members of the Supreme Beings." Abedo says with a blush. "Our masters and rulers of Nazarick. And the man to whom my heart belongs my lord!"
Momonga is taken aback by Albedo's proclamation. "Y-yes. I see."
"We have heard your thoughts and given you you orders." Setsuna says. "Work faithfully in our names."
"Understood!" The guardians say as one.
"Ophis, while Momonga and I converse, get to better know your new comrades." Setsuna says. "When you're done, return to the palace and report to the great hall."
"...Yes my lady." Ophis says.
With their orders received, the Supreme One's leave via teleportation.
The Supreme Ones later reappear in the halls of the Great Tomb. Exhausted beyond belief. Having to act like rulers can be tiring as Momonga faces a wall while Setsuna is slumped behind it.
"I'm beat." Momong says.
"Tell me about it." Setsuna says in exasperation.
"How the hell do they have such glorious views of us?" Momonga asked in disbelief.
"They're so...serious!" Momonga and Setsuna say in unison.
Setsuna sighs. She then stands up. "Well, I should get back to the palace. "Message me if there's any developments."
"Right." Momonga says as Setsuna leaves via Gate.
At the same time back at the amphitheater, the guardians share their thoughts on their leaders.
"I thought I was going to faint." Mare says. "That was so scary."
"Seriously." Aura says. "I was sure the pressure was gonna crush us."
"To think they would be this amazing." Cocytus says.
"Momonga-sama is more glorious than I imagined." Albedo says.
"Indeed." Demiurge says while adjusting his glasses.
"They seemed pleased with our vow of fidelity." Cocytus says. "I hope that is the case."
Demiurge glanced at Ophis. "So Ophis-san, you're a shapeshifter, correct?"
"...Yes." Ophis says blankly.
"I see." Demiurge says while adjusting his glasses. He then glances at Ophis' choice of clothing. "Is there any particular reason why your clothing is...revealing?"
"...It's comfortable." Ophis says after a pause.
"...Hm. Very well." Demiurge says.
Aura then trots over to Ophis. "So, how old are you Ophis-san?"
"Uh sis? Maybe you shouldn't ask that." Mare says meekly.
"Oh it's fine." Aura waves off. "Well?"
"...I am 1000 years old." Ophis says.
"Whoa! Seriously?!" Aura asked in shock. "...So, should I call you Baa-chan?"
"...I don't care." Ophis says while raising an eyebrow.
"Well then. If it's all the same, I should be going." Sebas says. "I should be at the tomb when Momonga-sama returns."
"Yes of course." Albedo says. "Be sure to contact me should Momonga-sama need me. I shall rush to his aid! I-"
"You've made it clear." Sebas interrupts. He then bows. "Well then."
With his piece said, Sebas leaves the amphitheater. While watching him leave, Demiurge hears what sounds like whimpering. He looks behind him to see Shalltear hugging herself as she trembles.
"Is there something wrong Shalltear?" Demiurge asked. At his question, the others look towards the vampire.
"Are you hurt?" Cocytus asked. "Ill?"
Shalltear turns to her comrades. Revealing her flushed face.
"No I'm fantastic." Shalltear says. "I just got a little over stimulated is all. Their power was so intense my underwear went through a small crisis."
Everyone groans at Shalltears comment. Well... except for two people. One who was either uninterested or too naive to get the meaning. The other...
"Disgusting bitch!"
All eyes turn to Albedo as a dark aura surrounds her.
"What?! Don't pretend you aren't thrilled over the gift they just gave us." Shalltear says as a red aura surrounds her. "They shared so much of their power. If something like that doesn't make you wet, you must be rancid beneath that skirt!"
"You FILTHY parasite!" Albedo exclaims.
"The Supreme Beings made me what I am!" Shalltear exclaims. "I take pride in it and a big mouthed idiotic gorilla like you won't change that!"
"KEEP FLAPPING THOSE FANGS LAMPREY! SEE WHERE IT GET'S YOU!" Albedo screams.
Ophis looks on with the same blank expression on her face. She then turns around and opens a Gate.
"It's noisy here." Ophis says as she enters the portal.
A few moments later, Setsuna and Ophis are seen walking down the halls of the Crescent Moon Palace.
"So, what did you think of the guardians?" Setsuna asked.
"They're noisy." Ophis immediately responds.
"...I see." Setsuna says in reluctance. "I guess it was too much to ask her to get along with them. Ophis isn't much of a people person."
The two come to stand in front of a door with two dragons on it. One black while the other is white. The dragons circle each other in the form of a Yin-yang.
"Regardless, we're going to be working with them. So I expect you to do that at the very least." Setsuna says.
"...Understood Setsuna-sama." Ophis says with the faintness of disappointment in her voice.
"Now then." Setsuna says. The dog demoness then opens the door.
Inside the great hall are a number of people. Human-like our otherwise. The NPC's look towards their mistress with loyalty and devotion as they await their mistresses words.
"My friends." Setsuna says. "We have much to discuss."
Meanwhile in an area far away from Nazarick, soldiers can be see riding horses. Unknown to them, they are being watched by another group of soldiers. The man leading them has blonde hair and black eyes. He also wears some sort of black and white robe. He also has a scar on his face.
"We will attack the next village in the morning." The blonde says. He then gives a sinister smirk. "And guide the beast to their cages."
And done! Another chapter down. Next time will be a look into who is part of Setsuna's group as well as the battle at carne village. Also for those who are curious, Setsuna as Alicia is voiced after Colleen Clinkenbeard(Sekirei's Matsu). While Setsuna herself is voiced by Carrie Keranen(Kill La Kill's Satsuki Kiryuin).
