Hello and welcome to another chapter of Of Liches and Demons. Last chapter, we were introduced to a few members of Setsunas faction as well as the beginning of the battle of Carne Village. Now it's time for Ainz and Setsuna to show their might to Nigun and his men. Now, let's get to it.
As usual, I own nothing.
Things were going well for Ainz and Setsuna. After her friend contacted her about their mission to Carne Village, Setsuna decided to help Ainz in his endeavor, with Albedo and Shalltear tagging along as guards. The threat to the village was easily dealt with and the villagers were grateful for the Supreme Ones aid. After learning what they could about the new world they arrived in, Ainz and Setsuna were on their way home. But it looks like their business in Carne Village wasn't finished yet.
Gazef Stronoff, the Warrior Captain of the Re-Estize Kingdom was the true target. The recent attacks were bait to lure Gazef out so the Slane Theocracy could eliminate him. The captain had gotten word that Carne Village was next to be attacked. However, Gazef didn't count on Aniz and Setsuna repelling the attackers. Though he was grateful for their help.
The problem now lies with the magicians currently outside the village. Along with the magicians are monsters that bare a striking resemblance to the Archangel Flames from Yggdrasil. Gazef and one of his soldiers, along with Ainz and his group decided to take cover in the village chiefs home to discuss things.
"It looks like they've surrounded us in equal intervals." A soldier says.
"Do you have some idea of who they are?" Ainz asked.
"Only the Slane Theocracy could send out this many magic casters at once." Gazef says. "And they're part of the special ops unit directly under the Head Priest. It must be one of the six scriptures."
Ainz and Setsuna glance at one another.
"Then the men who attacked earlier..." Ainz says.
Gazef nods. "Theocracy soldiers no doubt. Looks like they dressed in imperial armor to throw us off."
"As we thought." Ainz says.
"Does this village hold anything of significance?" Setsuna asked.
Gazef looks at Aniz and Setsuna. "If neither of you don't know why they're attacking, then it's safe to say that they aren't after you. Which means..."
Setsuna narrows her eyes slightly. "It would seem you have some enemies...Chief Warrior."
"Indeed." Gazef says with a bitter smile. "Well, lucky me. Even the Slane Theocracy wants me dead."
Setsuna gazes outside the window and looks at the approaching threat.
"Those creatures look like the Archangel Flames from Yggdrasil." Setsuna thinks. "Why would monsters from Yggdrasil be here?"
"Ainz-dono, Setsuna-dono." Gazef says catching the Supreme Ones attention. "I would like to hire you. Name your price and I shall make sure you get it."
"Sorry, but I'll have to decline." Ainz says.
"As do I." Setsuna says.
Even though Ainz and Setsuna turned him down, Gazef didn't look the least bit surprised.
"Very well." Gazef says. "Then please take care. And thanks again." Gazef walks up to Ainz and shakes his hand. He then looks at the two with pleading eyes. "This village owes you gratitude. As do I. And though I know that this is a selfish request, but please protect this village one more time."
Gazef gets down on one knee. "Please, I beg of-"
Before he can kneel before the Supreme Ones, Setsuna puts her hand on Gazef's shoulder. The captain looks questionably at the disguised demoness.
"Stand, Chief Warrior." Setsuna says. "A man of your stature shouldn't bow so easily. I believe I speak for both of us when I say that we will protect this village and those within it."
"Indeed." Ainz says with a nod. "We will even put our names on the line."
Gazef looks at Setsuna and Ainz in slight shock. That shock then turns into gratitude as the captain smiles. He then surprises Setsuna by kissing her hand before raising to his feet.
"Then I will have nothing to worry about." Gazef says. He then looks out the window. "I will focus on the task before me."
Ainz reaches into his robe and pulls out a small totem. "Then please, take this."
Gazef looks at Ainz in confusion before looking at the totem. He then takes it. "I will accept it gratefully." Gazef stores the totem in his back pocket before bowing to the Supreme Ones. "Good-bye."
"May victory shine upon you, Chief Warrior." Setsuna says.
Gazef leaves the house and mounts his horse. He then rides off to face the invaders with his men following him into battle. Ainz, Setsuna, Albedo and Shalltear watch the men leave.
"When I first met the humans here, I saw them as insects much like you do." Ainz says. "But the more I spend time with them, the founder I grow."
Setsuna nods in agreement. "Like a child amongst helpless animals."
"Is that why you both promised the honor of your great name's to his request?" Albedo asked.
"Perhaps..." Ainz says.
After Gazef and his men left the village, the chief and his wife questioned why the captain left while the village is still under attack. Ainz and Setsuna informed them that Gazef was the true target and that he would cause a distraction. Clearing the way for the villagers to escape.
After gathering the villagers in the villages storage house, Ainz and his group used magic to view Gazef's battle with the Slane Theocracy. While watching, Setsuna was impressed by the Warrior Captain's display. His use of the strange Martial Art techniques fascinated both Setsuna and Ainz. The Supreme Ones made a note to look into those techniques later.
The loyalty of Gazef's men was remarkable as well. Gazef's plan was to stay behind and fight while his men escaped. Instead, the captain's men chose to fight alongside him. But while the gesture was admirable, the soldiers proved to be no match for the angel monsters. For each angel Gazef took down, more took their place. The captain had decided to take out the enemies commander, but he couldn't get close. Soon, it was just down to a battered and bloody Gazef. But even faced with such overwhelming odds, he wouldn't give up. The sun had even begun to set during Gazef's battle.
But what the enemy commander said to Gazef offended Setsuna and Ainz greatly. Once Gazef was taken care of, the scriptures would turn their sights on Carne Village. And massacare the villagers. The indignity of this man. After Setsuna and Ainz took the time to save the village, this man threatened to kill the people under their protection? Needless to say, heads will roll for this. Both figuratively and very literally.
Though Gazef decided to have the last laugh when he told the commander that Setsuna and Ainz would come for him and his men. Dismissing Gazef's threat as a bluff, the scriptures prepared to deliver the final blow.
"Looks like it's time for us to switch." Ainz says.
At that moment, Setsuna and her group began to glow. Knowing that Gazef was as well. Almost instantly, the group from Nazarick disappeared, while Gazef and what remained of his men took their place. Shocking the villagers as while as the Warrior Captain.
"W-where am I?" Gazef asked in confusion.
"This is the village's storage house." The chief says. "Ainz-sama set up a barrier to keep us safe."
Gazef looks around, but sees no trace of the Supreme One's or their attendants.
"Where are they?" Gazef asked.
"Well, Ainz-sama and Setsuna-sama suddenly disappeared with their guards, while you appeared in their place." The chief says.
Gazef has a moment of realization as he takes out the totem in his pocket. As he holds it, the totem slowly vanishes.
"...So that's it." Gazef says with a tired smile.
The Warrior Captain falls back unconscious as his wounds take their toll. Knowing that Setsuna and Ainz will take care of the rest.
With the switch successful, Setsuna, Ainz, Albedo and Shalltear appear before the members of the Slane Theocracy. All is quiet as the commander, who Setsuna learned through Griffon name is Nigun, stares at the newcomers.
"And just who are you?" Nigun asked.
"Greetings people of the Slane Theocracy." Ainz says. "My name is Ainz Ooal Gown. Please, call me Ainz." Aniz glances at Setsuna. "My charming companion here is Setsuna Inu Taisho."
"We have something of a relationship with those villagers." Setsuna says.
Nigun sneers. "Have you come to beg for their lives, or just your own?" Nigun then leers at Setsuna. "Though, I may reconsider. It would be a shame to kill such a beauty."
Shalltear growls as she takes a step forward. Setsuna then holds her arm out. Signaling for Shalltear to stand down.
"No, no." Ainz says. "You misunderstand. We overheard your conversation with the chief warrior. ...You really have a lot of balls, don't you, little man?"
Nigun takes a step back in shock.
"We spent our time and energy saving those people, yet you so carelessly declare your intent to kill them?" Setsuna asked. "The audacity you've displayed is both offensive and insulting. Wouldn't you agree, Ainz-san?"
"Indeed." Aniz says.
Nigun gasps in shock. That shock soon turns to anger.
"Offensive is it?" Nigun asked with a smirk. "Big words from a lone magic caster and a bunch of women against these odds. Just what do you plan to do?"
Ainz holds his hand out. "Offer your pitiful lives to us without resistance. Do this and there will be no pain." Ainz balls his hand into a fist. "Refuse..."
"And your lives will be forfeit." Setsuna finishes. "We will take our time killing you. Slow and painfully, as you die in despair."
Nigun growls as he signals his men. "Have the angels attack these fools!"
Four Archangel Flames charge at Ainz and Setsuna. Two of them seem to skewer Ainz, while Setsuna is concealed by the others. For a moment, all is quiet. Until Nigun begins to gloat.
"Is that all?" Nigun sneers. "I expected more from a bluff like that."
Before he can continue to revel in his so-called victory, Nigun looks closely at the angels. Their forms seem to be shaking ang struggling.
The two angels that attacked Ainz are then separated. Revealing a very much alive Ainz holding them back with his bare hands. The shock continues as Nigun looks towards the angels sent to kill Setsuna. Only to be held back by a large blue barrier as the female Supreme One stares impassively.
"Didn't I tell you?" Ainz asked. "Without resistance. By the time we're through with you, you'll wish you had listened."
"Impossible!" A magician exclaims.
"It has to be a trick!" Another magician exclaims.
"High Tiered Physical Nullification." Ainz says as the angels light spears impaling him vanish. "It's a passive skill that completely nullifies the physical attacks of low level weapons and monsters."
"As for me, one of the swords I carry protects me with it's powerful barrier." Setsuna says. "Though I could've repelled this pitiful attack myself, I felt like showing off a bit. Apologies."
Nigun gasps in shock as he begins to sweat. Ainz then slams the Archangel Flames to the ground. They then fade away into golden molts of light.
At the same time of Aniz's assault, Tenseiga's barrier goes down.
"Know your place." Setsuna says coldly.
The dog demoness delivers a powerful roundhouse kick to the Archangel Flames. The sheer power of her kick was enough to cause the angels to explode into molts of light on impact.
"As we thought." Setsuna says. "These really are the Archangel Flames from Yggdrasil."
"So it seems." Ainz says. He then turn his attention to Nigun and his forces. "The fact that you can use the same magic and summons from Yggdrasil intrigues me. I'd like to know more, but I'll put that aside for now."
"Our current focus should be on killing you." Setsuna says. " Albedo, Shalltear, step back. It's our turn now. You wanted a massacare. You'll get one."
Nigun begins to panic. "Divide the angels! Half at the magic caster and half at the woman!"
The Archangel Flames divide themselves as one group charges at Ainz while the other goes after Setsuna. Ainz glances at Setsuna. Even with his face covered, Setsuna understands what her comrade is about to do. After fighting together for so long, both Ainz and Setsuna have a grasp on each others strategies. As such, Setsuna jumps back along with Albedo and Shalltear.
"Negative Burst!" Ainz exclaims.
A dome of negative energy explodes around the male Supreme One. Annihilating the group of angels arround him.
As for the group approaching Setsuna, the dog demoness unseathes Bakusaiga. The blade begins to glow an ominous green as the angels draw closer.
"Destruction Wave!" Setsuna exclaims.
Setsuna swings her sword at the nearest angel, easily cutting through it like butter with a green energy wave. The angel then explodes and to Nigun's horror, the rest of the Archangel Flames begin to implode one after the other until they were all wiped out. Setsuna then sheathes her sword before brushing a loose hair out of her face.
"Hmph." Setsuna scoffs.
Seeing how two previously thought unknowns easily decimated his angels, Nigun starts to shake in fear. He then thinks back to Gazef's warning about the two beings in Carne Village. Realizing that there might be some truth to the captain's words after all.
"I-impossible!" Nigun exclaims in disbelief.
Now knowing that their foes aren't to be taken lightly of, the magic casters of the Slane Theocracy quickly began to attack Aniz and Setsuna with magic spells. Unfortunately for them, the spells had no effect thanks to the Supreme One's High Tier Magic Immunity. The fact that the spells being used were all from Yggdrasil did intrigued Ainz and Setsuna though.
"Hm. It would appear that these bugs know more Yggdrasil spells than we originally thought." Setsuna says.
"So it seems." Ainz says. "Who taught you that magic?! Tell us!"
One magic caster panics and instead of a spell, uses a slingshot on Ainz. Just before it reaches it's target, Albedo defelcts the shot with her battleax and sends it right back at the caster. Completely blowing his head up. The fool didn't know that with Albedo's Missile Reflection and Body Shield skills, she was the perfect shield.
Nigun stares at the headless corpse of his soldier in shock and confusion. "...What just happened?"
"Albedo, you know full well that these pitiful low-level spells would've done me no harm." Ainz says. "There was no need to interfere."
"I beg your pardon, Ainz-sama." Albedo says submissively. "But if someone wishes to fight a supreme being such as you or Setsuna-sama, then they should be able to best either myself or Shalltear."
"Agreed." Shalltear says. "These men are mere pebbles fighting two mountains."
Ainz chuckles. "I'm afraid they wouldn't meet your requirements in ten lifetimes."
"Quite." Setsuna says with a small smirk. That smirk then vanishes as she turns her attention back to the humans. "Now, shall we continue?"
Nigun growls at the inhuman groups. He then looks to another angel that looks like a higher form of the Archangel Flames.
"Principality of Observation!" Nigun exclaims. "Attack!"
The angel clasps it's hands before summoning a large mace of holy energy. It floats forward and attacks Ainz. Only for the Supreme One to block the attack with one hand.
"My, my." Ainz drawls out. "I guess I should fight back." Ainz turns slightly to Setsuna. "Unless you would like to take a turn at them."
"No need." Setsuna says. "Their weakness is so pitiful that I'm starting to get bored."
A vein pops up on Nigun's head as he growls in anger. "What did you say?!"
"I said I'm bored." Setsuna deadpans. "You're boring me."
Before Nigun can shout, Ainz interrupts. "Well, we can't have that." Ainz points a finger at the angel. "Hell Flame."
A small black flame appears from Ainz's finger and floats towards the angel. As soon as the flame makes contact, it grows and completely engulfs the angel, eradicating it.
The magic casters look at the scene in horror.
"That was...one hit?" A magic caster asked in disbelief.
"There's no way a high-level angel can be beaten by a single spell!" Nigun exclaims.
"Captain Nigun!" A caster exclaims. "What should we do?"
Nigun grits his teeth before gasping in realization. He then smirks as he pulls out a blue crystal from his robe.
"We'll summon the highest level angel!" Nigun exclaims.
At the sight of the crystal, Ainz and Setsuna gain cautious looks.
"That's..." Setsuna and Aniz think.
As the crystal begins to glow, Setsuna and Ainz harden their gazes.
"That looks like a sealing crystal designed to hold any other magic baring top tier spells." Setsuna thinks. "Meaning that this world has Yggdrasil items too."
Setsuna gives Ainz a slight look. The male Supreme One nods in understanding. He then looks to Albedo.
"Albedo, I believe your skills are required." Ainz says.
Albedo twirls her battleaxe before standing in front of her master. "Understood, my lord!"
Setsuna glances at Shalltear. "Shalltear, prepare for combat."
Shalltear moves in front of Setsuna and summons her Spuit Lance. "Yes, my lady!"
Nigun laughs as the crystal glows brighter. "Behold, the shinning form of the highest of angels. Dominion Authority!"
In a grand entrance, a large angel with several pairs of wings, carrying a staff appears.
"Wait. You're telling me that this is your trump card?" Setsuna asked.
Taking Setsuna's words as shock, Nigun laughs. "That's right. I didn't think I'd have to call on it, but you've all proven to be worthy of it's divine power."
Ainz puts a hand to his face. "I'm at a lost for words."
"Regretting your choices are we?" Nigun asks mockingly. "I wouldn't blame you."
"...This is stupid." Ainz says bluntly.
Nigun gasps in shock. "What?!"
"I can't believe we put up our guards for such child's play." Ainz says disappointingly as Albedo and Shalltear move aside.
"Apologies Albdeo, Shalltear." Setsuna says with an indignant look on her face. "Ainz and I both thought their last resort was worth caution." Setsuna narrows her eyes at Nigun. "Sadly, it's the same as all their other moves. Disappointing."
At Ainz and Setsuna's words, Nigun's eyes begin to twitch in both fury and fear.
"You can't be serious..." Nigun says in disbelief. "Child's play? Y-you're bluffing! No man nor woman can have power capable of surpassing Dominion Authority's might! I'll show you! Holy Smite!"
At it's masters command, the staff in the angels hand breaks down before transforming into a golden ring. Said ring then begins to charge with power.
"Witness the power of Seventh Tier Magic!" Nigun exclaims. "Face the light of the gods!"
In a flash of bluish-white light, Setsuna and Aniz are engulfed in a concentrated blast of holy magic. For beings such as demons and liches, holy magic is deadly to them. ...However, to Ainz and Setsuna, it just proved that there WERE things in this new world that CAN hurt them. As the attack fades, Setsuna found the drop in her HP amusing, while Ainz couldn't help but laugh out loud. Shame. And Nigun was so confident earlier.
"So, this is what it's like to take damage!" Ainz says. "This is pain!"
All Nigun could do was stand in fear with his mouth open. A created by Seventh Tier Magic. And two unknowns were able to brush it off so easily? Just who are these monsters?! The only thing that showed proof of the attack inflicting damage was a small cut on Setsuna's face!
"Nice." Setsuna says unfazed.
But there was one thing- or TWO things nobody accounted for. Albedo and Shalltear. Seeing their masters attacked drove them to one emotion. Pure rage.
"Y-YOU LOWER LIFEFORMS!" Albedo screams as her eyes glow through her helmet and a wave of negative energy emits from her.
For Shalltear, her mask cracks before a piece of it shatters. Revealing a red eye glowing in fury.
"HOW DARE YOU!" Shalltear screams as a red wave of energy emits from her.
At the sight of Albedo and Shalltears rage, Nigun couldn't help but take a step back with fearful squeak.
"That's my love!" Albedo exclaims. "My beloved Ainz-sama! The ruler of my heart and soul!"
"Hurting my master is one thing, but you scarred my beloved Setsuna-sama's prefect face!" Shalltear exclaims.
"You caused them pain and for that you will know HELL!" Albedo and Shalltear exclaim.
Before things can get bloody, Ainz puts a reassuring hand on Albedo's shoulder. Setsuna does the same with Shalltear. The effect is almost instant as the two guardians calm down.
"Calm down, both of you." Ainz says.
"B-but Ainz-sama..." Albedo says.
"Setsuna-sama?" Shalltear asked in confusion and concern.
"It's fine." Setsuna says. She then brushes the cut on her face with her thumb. Her wound already healing thanks to her Accelerated Healing ability. "Aside from the surprising weakness of their angels, everything is going according to plan." Setsuna glances at Ainz. "Please end this Ainz-san. I'd like to go home now."
"Very well." Ainz says as he steps forward. "It's my turn now." Ainz eyes begin to glow from underneath his mask as he raises his hand at the angel. "Know despair. Black Hole!
A black sphere the size of a baseball appears between Ainz and Dominion Authority. Although the angel tries to resist, the angel is dragged into the spheres pull. Vanishing in a white explosion. As the light dies down, stars appear in the sky. Signifying that it is now night.
In the face of Ainz's power, Nigun and the rest of his men are left speechless.
"Even demons don't have this kind of power." Nigun whispers in fear. "Just who are you?"
"Ainz Ooal Gown." Ainz says.
"Along with Setsuna Inu Taisho." Setsuna says. "There was a time when all feared those names."
Suddenly, a crack briefly appears in the sky before vanishing. Though everyone was able to see the phenomenon.
"Wh-what was that?" Nigun asked.
"It seems someone was using reconnaissance magic to watch you from afar." Ainz says. "My guess, it was the Slane Theocracy. But my defense barrier counteracted it, so I doubt the saw much."
"My country was...watching me?" Nigun asked.
"If that's all, it's time to end this." Ainz says.
Nigun panics. "N-no! No! Please, Ainz-do- I mean Ainz-sama! Setsuna-sama! Spare my life! These men don't matter! Spare me and you will have whatever you wish!"
Hearing their commander sell them out in exchange for his own life, Nigun's men can't help but shout indigently at him. Sadly, their pleas won't be answered.
"I believe you are confused." Albedo says.
"Neither Ainz-sama nor Setsuna-sama have needs for lower lifeforms such as yourselves." Shalltear says as her visiable eye glares at the humans. "Humans like you should grovel and give thanks for ending your pitiful lives."
"Humans...like me?" Nigun asked fearfully.
Ainz removes his mask. Letting the humans see him for who he really is.
"What was it you told Gazef?" Ainz asked rhetorically as his pupils glow. "Cease your futile resistance and just lie down like a god dog. As an act of mercy, I will make your death painless."
"Shatter."
At the sound of her voice, Nigun turns to Setsuna as the sound of glass breaking can be heard. To his horror, Nigun sees Setsuna's true appearance as well.
"One other thing." Setsuna says darkly as her eyes glow. "Trash like you who sacrifice others to save yourself...make me sick. So like trash...you will get what you deserve."
And so ends the life of Nigun Grid Luin. Not even his men were spared from the might of the Supreme One's.
Some time later, the group from Nazarick are seen walking away from Carne Village. Ainz had taken off his disguise, Albedo removed her helmet and Shalltear removed her mask. Revealing her silver hair.
"I think that went well." Setsuna thinks. "I'm sure our actions pleased Albedo and Shalltear."
"So cool!" Albedo whispers while blushing. "Ainz-sama is such a badass!"
"Ainz-sama was fantastic as always." Shalltear whispers. She then looks at Setsuna and blushes madly. "But Setsuna-sama... Ah! I may need to change my underware again."
With Setsuna's enhanced hearing, she was able to hear Albedo and Shalltear's conversations. Setsuna couldn't help but blush at Shalltear's comment. At least she knows she and Ainz did well.
"Is something the matter?" Ainz asked.
Albedo and Shalltear snap out of their fantasies. "Nothing my lord!"
"Though, if I may ask, why did you save that human soldier?" Albedo asked.
"You even gave him that important relic, my lord." Shalltear asked.
Setsuna inwardly deadpans. "Important? Anyone could grab one of those things from a gacha machine for 500 yen." Setsuna's eyes suddenly widen slightly. "Oh crap! I haven't been able to update my FGO account since I got to this world. My opportunity to get Morgan Le Fay is gone!"
"More importantly, there was no need to risk your lives like that my lord and mistress." Albedo says with concern.
"We are your shield and your lance." Shalltear says with concern. "As much as we don't get along, Albedo and I should've fought in your places."
Setsuna and Ainz glance at one another.
"We're well aware of your strengths and we trust the both of you." Ainz says. "However, until we know more about this world, we must proceed with caution."
"For now, we must assume that there are things in this world that might pose a threat to us." Setsuna says. "Our enemy may be stronger than us. As a wise one once said: Expect the unexpected."
Realization seems to come to Albedo and Shalltear's faces. The two Guardians then smile.
"So you tested their strength by using the soldier as a pawn." Albedo says.
"Ingenious." Shalltear says. "Your use of humans is truly magnificent." Shalltear frowns. "But still, taking in that angels last attack?"
"What of it?" Setsuna asked.
"Watching you in pain is more than I can bare, my lord." Albedo says with a frown.
"Neither of us doubted that you would be victorious." Shalltear says. "But still..."
"No woman would want to see their beloved hurt!" Albedo and Shalltear exclaim. The two then realize what was said before giving each other a small glare.
"O-oh. I see." Ainz stammers.
"Why does it seem like these two are getting along?" Setsuna thinks. She then smiles. "Your concerns are appreciated." Setsuna looks towards Ainz. "Go ahead and return to Nazarick with Albedo, Ainz. Shalltear will follow you shortly."
If Ainz had any eyebrows to raise, he would raise them. However, he chooses to comply with Setsuna's request.
"Very well. And thanks again, Setsuna-san." Ainz says with a nod.
"I believe there's no need for honorifics between us anymore, Ainz." Setsuna says with a small smile.
Ainz stares at Setsuna for a moment before chuckling. "I guess you're right, Setsuna." Ainz opens a Gate before turning to Albedo. "Let's go home, Albedo."
"With pleasure, Ainz-sama." Albedo says with devotion.
Ainz and Albedo enter the Gate. Leaving Setsuna alone with Shalltear.
"Was there something you wished to discuss with me, Setsuna-sama?" Shalltear asked.
"No." Sestuna says. "This one just didn't want Albedo to see this."
Shalltear raises an eyebrow. "See what my mistre-"
Shalltear's eyes widen as she is taken by surprise when Setsuna closes the gap between them and kisses her on the lips! The vampire is so shocked by the action that she unconsciously opens her mouth to give her mistress more access. After what seems like an eternity, Setsuna parts from Shalltear with a small string of saliva showing. Shalltear however is still in shock to fully process what just happened.

Setsuna enters the portal before it vanishes. Leaving Shalltear alone with the portal back to Nazarick. Shalltear stands still for a moment before hanging her head. The vampire then begins to shake. Shalltear suddenly throws her head to the sky with a look of ecstasy on her face.
"OH YES!" Shalltear screams to the heavens.
And so ends the mission to Carne Village. Unaware of the Guardians of Nazarick's plan to make Ainz the Supreme Overlord of the new world. And of a certain vampire relying their plan to the residents of the Crescent Moon Palace.
And done! Wow. What a chapter, huh? So, Ainz and Setsuna TKOed Nigun and his soldiers and Shalltear got a reward from her beloved mistress. Also, Setsuna's roundhouse kick on the angels. Anyone whose seen Rosario Vampire's Inner Moka's roundhouse kicks knows how OP it is. Only one word describes the next chapter. ADVENTURER! That being said, I would like to hear any ideas you all have on what Setsuna's Adventurer look should be.

Setsuna is a tall young woman with a voluptuous figure, a regal appearance and delicate features.
Setsuna is fair skinned with pointed ears, slanted golden eyes with slit pupils, long flowing silky silver hair that cascades down her back with short bangs, a heart shaped face, very short cut eyebrows and purple lipstick. She has two magenta stripes on each cheek, a magenta stripe on each eyelid and a purple crescent moon on her forehead that could be seen beneath her bangs. She also has three magenta stripes on her wrists.
Although they aren't visible, Setsuna's canines are fangs and her fingers are tipped with claws that can secrete a corrosive poison.
Setsuna wears a white kimono with a with a pink cherry blossom flower crest at the collar and sleeves. The sleeves are cut. Revealing her shoulders. The kimono is tied closed by a yellow sash as her kimono was having a hard time keeping her breast in. Setsuna also wears a black hakama that is cut at the sides to show her thighs and is barefooted.
In battle, Setsuna adds chest armor to her outfit with a spiked pauldron that covered her left shoulder. She also wears a rich fur on her left shoulder that responses to her thoughts. It can stretch to great lengths and offers Setsuna more ways to attack and defend. She carries two swords. On her left is the sword Tenseiga with Bakusaiga on her right.
