Chapter V
It's been at least three days since the known hooded man had arrived and 'kidnapped' the king on his ship. Which he wouldn't shut up about. He also wouldn't shut up about how he wasn't getting a good rest at night due to him not having a bed. To which the hooded man would reply with a "not my problem" response.
It was now an early morning with the sun showing its first few rays as the hooded man walked up deck and climbed up the pole in the middle to watch out for anything in sight. He turned to face down and look at one of the crew mates that were moving a few barrels.
"Hey! Go wake your king!" He shouted down. The boy stopped for a split second as if debating wether he should or not. After a few seconds he nodded and proceeded to go below deck into the kings cabin.
. . .
"Your majesty." The boy knocked onto the door of the cabin. He waited a few seconds before seeing the door open to reveal king Peter.
"Is there a reason as to why you have come here?" He asked. "The unknown man has requested your presence on deck." He bowed before leaving. The king rubbed his face in irritation.
He then walked up in the deck and looked up and noticed the hooded man was up on the pole and looking ahead.
"You needed me?" He shouted up.
"Yeah I did."
The king sighed to himself. His patients running thinner and thinner by the second.
"Well? What do you want?! I don't have all day!" He yelled up at the hooded man. He rolled his eyes.
The hooded man pointed forward in front of the boat.
"Am I supposed to understand what your doing?" He asked.
"Yes. I expect you to get your ass up on the front deck and look out."
"You've got a lot of nerve saying that to a king. I could execute you right here and now." The guards readied their weapons and aimed their bows right at the hooded man. Which only made him roll his eyes again.
"I could kill all of them in two seconds. You really want me to go there?" He asked getting irritated. The guards and crew mates looked over to the king and waited for him to give the order or not. After a few seconds of waiting patiently for him to give the signal. He put his hand up. They lowered their weapons.
"What is out there?" The king asked.
"Get up there and look."
He proceeded to walk up the deck. And look out towards the blue sea. And there he saw. A huge island that had a large kingdom resting on top. His eyes widened. The entire place seemed to glow with its white bricks that made up the entire place and a golden dome just above the palace.
"Is that...?"
"Yes. The Southern Isles. We have arrived."
Days had passed by in a blur with the kingdom being busy. But other than that nothing much was going on. Anna being nine months pregnant now was expected to be due sometime soon. It could be any day or any minute now when the little bundle of joy would soon be welcomed into the world. Elsa couldn't wait to be called Auntie and couldn't wait for her sister to be called mommy and start a family of her own.
Jack has been busy too. He was giving joy to all of the children in the world. Right now he hadn't come back for a while and Elsa had been reading in the library. She had grabbed one of her favorite books and began to read.
As she was reading, she heard the door open. She lifted her head to see who had come in and had found her sister approaching while rubbing her belly.
"Hey Anna."
"Hey Elsa."
Anna came and sat down right next to her sister and placed her hand upon her baby bump.
"What are you reading?"
"King Arthur." She nodded her head.
"Hey I brought you something." Anna said as she turned around and grabbed a small bag that was filled with cream filled danishes. One for each of them.
"I borrowed them." She stated. Elsa turned and raised an eyebrow while smirking.
"Yeah right 'borrowed'." She laughed as she grabbed one from the bag. As she put it up to her mouth she sniffed the flavor of it. But a wave of nausea hit her like a hit upside the head. Once she smelled the danish, she didn't feel quite right. She felt nauseous and didn't want it near her at all.
"You okay Elsa?" Anna asked as she raised an eyebrow at her sisters sudden hesitation. Elsa shook her head from her thoughts and turned to Anna.
"Yeah, I'm just not that hungry I guess." She said as she handed the pastry back to Anna. As Elsa handed it back, she still couldn't get the smell to leave her nose and she felt so sick. She placed a hand against her stomach and placed her opposite hand against her forehead.
"Elsa..."
"Hmm?"
"How long has it been since the wedding?" She asked questioningly. She raised an eyebrow.
"I'm guessing about two weeks."
"Okay . . . What about your period?"
"It hasn't started yet."
"When is it supposed to?" She asked.
"Umm, I think it was supposed to start at least a week and a half ago." Anna's eyes widened. A week and a half?! That's been a long time.
Elsa looked at Anna and noticed how distressed she looked when Elsa had responded to her.
"Anna? Are you okay?"
"Huh? Oh yeah... I'm fine." She stated. However, there was a weird sound that ran through their ears. It seemed to be coming from Anna. She looked down and the up. Anna stood up from the sofa and both their eyes widened. There was a large wet spot on the couch.
"I-Is that..?"
Suddenly Anna reached over her belly and scrunched her nose in an excruciating pain. She gripped onto an arm of a chair and held onto her belly.
"Anna?!" Elsa almost shouted going right to her sisters aid.
"I-I think the baby is coming!" She said as she lowered herself down into the ground. Oh my gosh!!! The baby's coming now!!
"Someone!!! Come quick!!!!!" Elsa screamed at the top of her lungs hoping someone would hear her. Anna let herself slowly fall onto the floor and she was panting uncontrollably.
"We will get help Anna. Just hang in there." She said as she held her sisters hand gently. Anna nodded her head feeling another wave of pain overcoming her.
Soon they both heard the doors open and some of the castle staff cane rushing towards Anna and saw her sitting on the floor.
"She's going into labor."
"We need to get her to her bedroom in order to deliver the baby."
"I think I can help." Elsa said as she waved her hands creating a stretcher made of ice. The staff then went to her sides.
"Okay on three."
"One,"
"Two,"
"Three!"
They then lifted Anna up and put her on the ice stretcher. Luckily Elsa thought of making it moveable so she added wheels to the bottom. They then began to push Anna down to her bedroom through the hallway. On the way, Kristoff eventually came across what was happening and he immediately went to Anna's side and he promised to never leave her.
They eventually made it to her bedroom and Kristoff lifted her gently onto her bed. The men staff left the room but told Elsa that if she needed anything they would come. Elsa replies with a nod to them thanking them on their way out. Meanwhile Anna was gripping the comforter of her bed and digging her nails into the bedding.
"Alright Princess Anna-"
"Just call me Anna." She stayed through the pain. The staff nodded.
"I'm gonna go and get the nurses. I promise I'll be back as soon as possible your highness." The maid bowed her head before exiting the room.
Kristoff laid a hand right onto Anna's which seemed to sooth her just a little over the pain. She gave him a small smile but that was soon whipped away as she grit her teeth in even more pain.
"Don't worry Anna. It'll be over soon." Elsa whispered loud enough for her to hear.
Soon the nurses came through the door and rushed to Anna's side.
"Okay, Princess wearer gonna need to take off your under skirt."
"Call me Anna."
"Okay." They then proceeded to do so and took a look.
"She's not fully dilated yet." One of the nurses said as they looked to the other.
"She'll need to wait a bit longer for it to be dilated." Anna knew she had to bare with the pain a lot longer now and she mentally facepalmed herself. (P.S I don't know much about this stuff so I hope you can forgive me if I make a mistake)
Some time had passed and the doctors decided to have a look to make sure she was ready to give birth. The nurse then went to check.
"She's dilated now. Okay Anna," the nurse said, "We are gonna need you to give us a big push." Anna took a few deep breaths. When she felt that she was ready, she pushed.
"Great job pri- Anna, your doing great." The nurse smiled. Anna had finished with her first push as she was now panting out of breath already.
"Someone get her a cool rag."
"On it!" Kristoff piped in as he got up and dashed out the door.
"Alright Anna, push." She did as she was told and screamed in agony. Elsa grabbed her hand and squeezed it. Anna squeezes back.
Kristoff ran back in with a rag. The nurse took it from his hands and dipped it into a bowl filled with cold water. The nurse squeezed the water from the rag and handed it to Elsa who placed it upon Anna's sweating forehead. Anna have her sister a small, weak smile back. Thanking her for that.
"This hurts...badly." Anna panted out still trying to catch her breath. "Anna, try not to talk, just breathe." Elsa softly spoke. Anna nodded her head and focused on her breathing.
"Okay, push."
Anna did so again.
"Anna stop!! Stop!" The nurse yelled. Anna let out a loud scream in pain and cried out. Elsa looked in worry and concern. The nurse pulled her hand away from Anna and revealed her hands.
They were covered in blood.
