Ishui arrived at the coffee shop where he worked and P99 was excited
"So this is where you work!" she said in a bit of excitement
"Haha...yeah, our coffee shop is small and not too well known, but I'm happy to work here" Ishui parked the bike as P99 hopped off from the back seat
"But why it was locked?" She asked while looking at the insides of the store
"Well, I usually arrived first to get things ready, the manager? well he took care of things from home, tech these days able to control your company from home am I right?" He locked the bike before unlocking the door
"Say, umm, Commander? Can I help you during your work time?" She asked while Ishui punched the clock for his attendance
"Hmm, You sure? and also don't call me commander on public, I think that's classified information" He rubbed the back of his head while wearing his green apron and barista cap
"Alright, and I can help serving the coffee if the customer didn't order to go" She said while looking at the stuff that was usually used by Baristas
"Hmm, sounds good!" he chuckled "Let's hope Kryuger didn't kill me for this" he joked about it while P99 looking at the lockers
"Do you have female aprons here?" P99 asked
"On the back locker" He responded while hearing the front door opened
"Yo, glad to see you on time!" It was Jun, his coworker
"Yeah, as usual, anyways, how's your day?" He asked while doing some notes on the ingredients and checking the machine if it's working properly or not
"Well, My day is okay, oh I found several manga that could boost your idea" He said while taking out 2 Manga books
"These two were on the market, both of them are adventure, but the first one is like reverse isekai and the other one is pure on adventure with alternate universe" Jun handed Ishui the books which he gladly took it
"Whoa, I really need this! Thanks a lot man, I might get several idea from this!" He chuckled while putting the book on his backpack
"But return it after you're done alright?" Jun demanded as he punched the clock
"Ishui-san? how do I look?" P99 walked out wearing the same attire plus the apron minus the barista cap
Ishui blushed while looking at her beauty figures
"We got a customer?" Jun walked out and saw P99 with Ishui and then eye contact happened

"WAIT A MINUTE!! WHERE DID SHE COME FROM!!" Jun exclaimed seeing P99 appearing next to Ishui, and most of all, she was slightly clinging on Ishui's arm
"J-Jun! trust me man, this is not what it looks like..." Ishui tried to calm his best buddy down because he panicked to see a foreign girl in their coffee shop
"Dude, did you contact someone about our coffee shop! are we going to be recognized finally?!! Manager would be freak out!!!" He exclaimed in excitement
"U-Uhh..yeah! This is Elise! she's a coffee enthusiast! And she's one of my brother's relatives" He nudged P99's elbow to signal her to play along
"Ah, yes, Greetings! I'm Elise from Germany, I came from Munich and his brother's relatives to learn about coffee in this country" P99 bowed at Jun which made him more excited
"Soooo cute!!! And your Japanese is so fluent!!!" He exclaimed before offering her a handshake
"Jun Murikage!! Ishui's coworker and his wingman!"
"Ehehe, Nice to meet you" P99 sweatdropped as Ishui breath out a sigh of relief knowing the cover didn't blow up
"Say Ishui, she's a cute foreigner! I thought our small coffee shop here will just be a local favorite" Jin chuckled as he flipped the sign open
"A-Ah...I see..." He nervously chuckled at his response while P99 began prepping their stuff for their first customers to come
Ishui just stood next to P99 and began operating the coffee machine
through the hours he couldn't help but stare at P99, how she serving their orders in a friendly way, giving heartwarming smiles towards the customers made him feeling something different but he tried to push those feelings away
Ishui was kinda zoned out for a moment before a customer snapped him out of it
"Hey! where is my order?!" A woman exclaimed in front of him, she was beyond pissed off as she was waiting for her order from before
Ishui frantically preparing the lady's drink and gave it to the lady, he bowed in advance for an apology as he continued to serving more customers some coffee
He sighed before working again and again to serve more customers
Few hours later
Break time
It was time for a break, Ishui flipped the sign to "Taking A Break" as he sat down on one of the chairs
"Ishui-san, I'll buy some supplies for the store for a while if that's okay with you?"
He turned around towards P99 while frowning
"You sure going out alone? You're new here" He explained before grabbing a lock key for his bike
"Let me take you then!" he said as P99 just shook her head
"Ah no need to, the store is close so I can go on my own" She giggled before waving and heading towards the store
Jun sat across him while looking at P99 leaving the place
"Hey the girl you bring here is cute though, but I thought you quit dabbling on relationship after...that?" Jun reminded him regarding his past which he only responded by clenching his wrist
"H-Hey! Ouch!" Jun spat out in pain
"Do not. Remind me of her..." Ishui answered with a slight anger on his tone, clearly he wanted to get that problem away from his head
"S-sorry, it's just, I thought you're already moved on from her, I know you tried several times with different girl on different occasions as well, but-..." Jun was cut off by Ishui
"You made it sounded like I'm a playboy..." Ishui lowered his head on the table
"My relationship sucks...causing my college life to crumble, my parents disowned me and started to take care of my brother who always going around the world, he lived a better life, a good job and always travelling with his girlfriend, a foreigner too.." Ishui gently but repeatedly banging his head on the table
"Hey, I mean you could try with Elise though?" Jun suggested
"I mean I could but..." Ishui was hesitant to answer it
"But what?" Jun replied in an instant
"I shouldn't let Jun know that Elise is a T-Doll herself..." He thought for a bit until he could find an answer
"Well, Elise is a foreigner and belongs to an important family in Germany...and if her father knew that She and I were dating, one thing for sure is that her father will be furious about me and probably hire someone to wipe me out.." He sighed while looking at his wrist watch
"Break is over, let's head back to work.." Ishui headed to the counter and flipped the sign back to "Open"
From the back door, P99 could hear everything and she felt bad for Ishui, she wanted to dig some more information but she have to wait for the right time...

After work hours
1500 hrs
Outside of Angel's Wing Coffee Shop and Bakery
After the work shift, Ishui waved goodbye with Jun who already went on ahead, Ishui was locking the door of the cafè while P99 only observing him, she now could analyze his face clearly, contortions on his face showing pain of his past
"Um, Commander, may I ask you something?" She opened the conversation
"Huh? oh, sure, what is it P99?" He answered before unlocking his bike lock
"Well I don't want to intrude about your...privacy, but I overheard that you were talking with Jun-san regarding something.." With that, Ishui went silent for a while before sighing
"Let's just go home alright?" Ishui was about to drop the conversation before his phone rang
"Ishui Kamakura here.."
A brief silent before a voice could be heard
"Good to hear you alive kid..." a familiar voice could be heard
"Ah Mr. Kryuger, do you need something?" Ishui politely asked and without wasting any precious second he got straight to it
"I'll keep it brief and simple, today is your first mission and be glad that your government agreeing on protecting you" He said as Ishui was dumbstruck by the sudden agreement and retrieval of his first mission
"Eh?! Already?!" Ishui exclaimed signalling that whole of Japan agreeing on protecting him
"Be glad that you're under the watchful eyes kid, they'll try to do whatever they can to help you, if other countries knew you had that cube, you'll be on many other country governments' watchlist, possibly put a lot of numbers on your head..." Kryuger spoke up with a serious tone which send Ishui a bit chill on his spine
"Are you sure am I going to be safe??" Ishui sighed while sweat dropping at Kryuger's statement which didn't improve his conditions at all
"Anyway, let's cut to the chase, your first task is a simple escort, I already convinced whole of Japan to put arms against the threat on the Arctic, promised to support you and protect you in exchange for your service with them..." He said as Ishui put on his airpods
"Escort, what exactly?" He said while hopping on his bike as P99 also sat behind him
"You're going to escort a small convoy just one SUV that will send our last meeting documents along with several politicians inside" He calmly replied, he entered his car then followed by Helian before the car drove off to their branch HQ
"To where?" He asked
"From your city's Airport to the nearby military base, but beware, since this politician is a well known, he could be a target..." Kryuger said before giving signal towards Helian which she responded with a nod and pressing a button on her earpiece
"I never know our politician was targeted.." he said before putting his airpods on and redirected his calls into his airpods
"Our politicians are good guys" He gestured P99 to hop on the bike after he hopped on the front
P99 nodded and sat on the backside as Ishui paddling his way to the airport
"Don't get your hope up kiddo, just because your government a good person doesn't mean they'll be safe from any form of harm" Kryuger responded
"Preparations complete Mister Kryuger..." Helian spoke softly towards her superior which only responded with a nod
"Anyways, you'll do just fine, you'll protect them"
"Is it okay if I showed up with a bike? A PMC commander rode a bike like I'm just a commoner, wouldn't that be tarnishing your image?" Ishui asked while Kryuger just laughed
"No you won't I could care less if you just paddling your way there, hell I even let you walk in foot there, that is if you could make the time" Kryuger joked as the armored car that he was in arrived at an enormous Skyscraper that labeled GnK Co. Health and Social Insucrance
"Okay then, I'll undergo my duties sir" Ishui replied before the line was up
"Are you sure, putting him immediately on a danger is a good idea sir?" Helian asked with a slight doubt
"I know we just testing him, but he was just a mere civilian with no military training whatsoever..." Helian added her statement, Kryuger didn't seem to change his mind at all
"I know Helian...but it is necessary, we have to train him with all cost, his coordination, his leadership capabilities, and even his courage...trial by fire.." He said while sighing as his phone rang.
He took the phone and saw that it was from convoy of the politicians that wanted to pay a visit to a military base of Nagoya
"Kryuger here.."
"So is your recruit ready? Our agreement is that we allow you to let your recruit get his training, in exchange for his full cooperation towards the military" One politician spoke through the phone
"Remain calm sir, this training for our recruit is pretty much trial by fire, we picked several of Japan's best Spec-Ops to play disguise as "Terrorists" and you have to play along with it..." He said while looking outside the window
"I know about that, what I meant is your kid going to cooperate completely to the Military?" The politician spoke as Kryuger let out a hearty laugh
"That kid is already part of you guys...just for precaution measures...it's not him that doesn't trust the military...but it's me..." Kryuger hung up the phone before sitting on the bed
Back at Ishui
Komaki Domestic Airfield
North of Nagoya
Aichi Prefecture
1645 hrs
Ishui arrived after paddling his bike for almost 2 hours, and he was quite exhausted about it, he stopped at the parking lot and have a look around until he spotted a black SUV along with 2 Black Nissan Teana Sedan as escorts, he also saw male around his 40's accompanied with about 10 men in black suit and tie
"I guees that's him..." Ishui muttered before P99 also spotted the man
"Yeah I could see him, protected by SP's and I could see that they armed with standard issue Beretta 92 handgun" P99's eyes glowed blue before dimming back out
"Well...I'm only wearing this normal clothing and my ol' reliable bike...better get used to it.." he sighed. P99 could see his slightly pained face
"Are you alright? Commander?" she asked with a somber tone, Ishui snapped out of his thoughts and gave her a small laugh
"Yeah, I'm okay actually, come on, let's see this politician.." He said as he paddled his way to the entourage
Some SP personnel saw Ishui and already put their hands on the holster, until the captain of the SP stepped forward
"Stop, identify yourself and state your purpose"
Ishui parked his bicycle which made some SP personnels held their laughs before being hushed by the SP Officer
"My name is Ishui Kamakura, a green commander of Griffin and Kryuger PMC, I was assigned by Mr. Kryuger to act as an escort" he saluted at the officer before bowing towards the politician
"And I assume that's your T-Doll?" the officer asked while pointing at P99
"Yes, umm, introduce yourself.." Ishui gestured P99 as she bowed at them
"My name is P99 from GnK, I was assigned to be Commander Ishui's first operational T-Doll..please be easy on him and hope we could work together.." She said while the officer nodded in approval
"Alright then, we'll begin our escort, our destination is Moriyama Camp" the SP officer got into the car and so does his men
"Alright then, lead the way sir!" He hopped on his bike followed by P99, he could hear faint laughs of the SP members which P99 was aware of
The convoy itself was smooth so far, no troubles whatsoever, that's when a white truck could be seen speeding from the opposite side of the road and managed to crash into the front part of the convoy
"What's going on?!" The politician asked his driver and saw the truck opened revealing about 5 men in leather jackets, balaclava and carrying various weapons, ranging from AK-47's and one big guy carrying a PKM LMG
"It seems it's our recruit's first training mission, guess we have to play along" His driver said before being riddled by bullets from top to mid section of his body
"Those guys aren't from the Military!" an SP personnel spoke and poked his head out from the window with his Handgun pointed at them, followed by his comrades and pointed their guns at the presumably "Military Personnel"
"Oi! what do you think you're doing?! you really wanna kill the minister here?!" One SP personnel spoke up which raised a question on Ishui's head
"Do these guys know them?" he muttered before turning towards P99
"I know what you are thinking commander, they are not from the Military..." She said as she hopped down from the bike
"What do you mean "From Military!?" these guys are military personnels?!" he exclaimed before putting his bike to the side
"We'll talk that later, for now, give me your orders Commander..." she said as her azure blue eyes lit up, glowing like cat's eyes in the dark
Ishui Kamakura
A simple Coffee shop worker that always dreamed to be a Mangaka
Dropped off from College of Bioengineering due to family pressure and relationship issues, he abandoned his parent's desires to be a Bio-Engineering scientist which made his parents disowned him
But Ishui also despises his parents, he hated the pressure of being perfect and so he left and lived in a small house belong to his late grandparents and work 8 to 3 jobs to make ends meet
He might be an imperfect human but his dream of becoming a world class Mangaka will never fade
Ishui saw P99 casually walked amongst the panicked SP members before giving Ishui a serious and stern look, very different from her sweet and lovable counterpart
"Orders commander?" Her lips spoke out the words of demands, without any hesitation or stutter
Ishui gulped his spit before taking a breath
"P99! Deal with them! SP personnels protect the Minister at all cost!" Ishui ordered with his best stern voice
"Oi! who do you think you are?! You're not-GAAAAHH!!" before that one person could finish his sentence, he was met with an AK bullet to the forehead, resulting him to slumped down on the concrete road with blood gushing out from his forehead
"Enough of this chit chat!! We demand the Minister now!!" The leader with the PKM spoke up as P99 reacted by shooting a wrecked car creating an explosion and smoke covering between the SP's and also the attacker, Ishui hopped off from his bike, rushed towards the dead SP personnel's body and snatched his handgun
"First time using a gun, why the hell not.." he shot several rounds through the smoke but all of them missed, Ishui could feel the recoil pressure from the gun stressing out his wrists, the SP officer then moved next to him
"Okay kiddo, you're in charge now, we need to get out of here!" the officer said with a desperate tone, P99 then headed next to Ishui's side
"This is a standstill, we need to find an exit, P99, calculate a route where we can safely arrived at Moriyama Camp!" P99 nodded before she closed her eyes and using the mapping schematics that she stored in her Neural cloud she managed to found a route
"I found one, but we have to go through the utility road..." she said as Ishui turned towards the SP Officer
"Hope you don't mind the minister had to go through the utility road, it's going to get a little rough.." Ishui then rushed towards the Minister's car
"Sir, bear with me, my T-Doll already found an escape route but we have to go through an utility road!" Ishui demanded
"I don't care! just get me out of here!" He said before Ishui nodded and hopped on the passenger side of the Minister's SUV, P99 sat behind Ishui as the SP Officer took the wheel
"Go go go!!" The SUV then managed to make a narrow escape and the attacker hopped on to their trucks and drove again, following their target
Ishui saw from the rearview mirror and saw the truck gaining their distance
Ishui opened the top window and began spraying a couple of bullets towards the truck, it only hit the front grill but bounced off
"Geez! my aim is so terrible!!" He exclaimed, P99 rolled down her side window and began doing a suppressing fire towards the truck, then the side part of the truck opened revealing one of the attacker, with a sling harness attached as he spraying couple of AK bullets towards them
Ishui ducked again before opening poking his head back out to take a peek, he took this chance to shoot one of the men that was hanging on the open side of the truck, he shot about 4 rounds and missed all of them. Then he tried to hold the gun with two hands and aimed it carefully, he took the final shot and it hit the harness and the guy was sent rolling off and away from the truck. He duck back down and opened the magazine of his gun.
"I'm out!" he exclaimed as the SP officer hand out a magazine towards Ishui
"Use this wisely kid! and take it down fast! we're reaching the utility road!" He said as Ishui reloaded his gun again
"P99! we have to stop the truck before we reached the exit of the utility road!" he said as P99 nodded before taking another magazine from her pockets
"Affirmative commander!" She responded, Ishui looked around to find something that could be used to take down the truck and he saw a semi trailer carrying oil drums and he had a light bulb moment
"Drive next to that semi trailer!!" Ishui ordered as the SP Officer put his foot to the pedal and the SUV managed to pick up speed, Ishui prepared himself before shooting at the bolt of the lock and several drums rolling out from the trailer and hitting the white truck
"P99 NOW!!!" Ishui ordered as P99 put on a smirk
"Auf Wiedersehen~" She shot several rounds towards the drums and it managed to blew up, engulfing the truck in the roaring flames, resulting the truck to stop, Ishui could hear sirens from far away so he ducked in and put the gun away
"I didn't...just kill them right?" Ishui panted while looking his hands, slightly rash and a little bit of a burn
"Kid, that was something extra, and you just saved the minister from a terrorist" the SP Officer chuckled before offering him a handshake
"Mokuto Ikada, 2nd Lieutenant..." He said while giving Ishui a fist bump
"We owe you one kid" he chuckled as Ishui only let out a sigh
"I need some answers..."
"Today was suppose to be only your training as a commander kid, GnK and JGSDF already planned this, but those guys weren't on our side, they didn't hesitate to kill 2 of my men, despite we made an escape with minimum casualties, the attack on the main road earlier caused a lot of drama, some even worried that our nation is under a terrorist attack.." Ikada explained while Ishui trying to gather all of the information
"P99 already knew that they weren't military, how?" Ishui turned towards her T-Doll
"Well, it's because their standard equipment is not localized, if this is only a mock-up terrorist attack they prefer to use only their own weapons, why bother importing something from abroad, besides, AK-47 and other Kalashnikov branded guns are illegal in Japan and may result in confiscation from the customs..." P99 explained as Ishui only rubbing his face in exhaustion
"Today is already pretty hectic..." Ishui only spoke with a tired tone as the SUV managed to reach Moriyama Camp
"This is the place right?" Ishui groggily looked towards the window and saw the camp which was on full guard 24/7
"Indeed kid..." The minister walked out from the SUV and walked inside the camp which then immediately escorted by few JGSDF that was stationed
"I guess your first mission was a success Commander..." P99 returned to her cheerful tone and hugged him from behind which making Ishui slightly feel uncomfortable because the Ikada was still next to him
"Y'know kid, I kinda envy you.." Ikada spoke before giving him a light laugh
"Why is that sir?" Ishui replied
"Well, it's because somehow you are the only one that capable of linking with the cube and managed to get yourself an entourage of pretty girls, things like this only shown in anime alright?" Ikada mentioned the word anime which kinda surprising for Ishui to be honest
"You watch anime too?" He asked
"Well if I have enough time, I either watch anime or read the manga, hey, SP Officers like me needs some entertainment you know?" He joked which made Ishui slightly less tense than before
"Well, I think I better leave now sir, send my best regards to the minister" Ishui said as he opened the door and then P99 followed suit
"Why the rush?" Ikada asked
"I still have personal things to attend, and also...I need to go home soon, I left my bike in the highway..." He sighed as he walked to the nearest bus stop
"I see then, you sure you don't want me to give you a lift back?" Ikada offered before starting the engine
"No need to sir, just keep the minister safe" Ishui saluted at the Officer before walking back home along with P99
Ikada just chuckled before parking the SUV inside the Camp and left the duo on their own
A few minutes later at the bus stop
Ishui was sitting at the bus stop, waiting patiently as the sun slowly sets
P99 was sitting next to him and occasionally glancing towards her commander, she could see Ishui's tired expression, this mission must've drained his energy and he needs to get used to it
but something tells her that it's not the case, overheard of what Jun and Ishui talked about in the Cafè earlier made her wondering what's wrong with his past, but asking him that out of the blue will only cause a major distrust and probably opening up old wounds
So she decided to do some small advance towards him, to make him slightly calm than before, she scooted closer to him and put her palm on top of his
Ishui blushed at this before looking at P99 and she only stares deep into his eyes before giving him the sweetest smile that no girl ever gave at him, he calmed a bit and smiled back as the bus finally arrived and they rode it back to their home
On the bus, Ishui only looking at his phone for some anime-related stuff whereas P99 just sleeping on his shoulder, their first wore them out, Ishui still have to try to finish his manga works since he got a boost of ideas from this thing alone

Ishui and P99 arrived at their home as he lifts P99 and put her on a piggyback style
"Heh, guess she was very tired of her first hectic mission"
Ishui opened the door and finally saw 2 females watching television, one had short shoulder cut creme brown hair, and blue-ish eyes wearing a world war 2 Nazi Germany uniform and had an envelope filed with files accompanied by a female with long white hair a red checkered bandana, unbuttoned navy blue coat complete with a beret hat with the same colour and an indigo coloured ribbon for decoration, accompanied with white shirt underneath it with red checkered necktie, she also wore a blue checkered skirt and a long dark grey tights
"You girls?" Ishui spoke first as the two girls turned around
"Hoya hoya, look M1A1, our commander is here~!" the german female spoke up as the other girl known as M1A1 responded
"A-Ah, welcome home commander, hope your training didn't wore you out!" M1A1 said while blushing a bit
"Hoya~ why the blush M1A1~? Bet you couldn't wait for commander to treat you too by taking out for missions privately~?" The German girl responded which made M1A1 panicked
"U-Uhm! how about you MP41?! you literally said this few moments before commander walked back home "I hope our commander is a cute guy" didn't that also proof you are anticipating him?" M1A1 defended herself
"I-I don't know what are you talking about!!" the german girl known as MP41 blushed while retaliated at M1A1 statement
Ishui just stood there, sweat dropped looking at the two arguing until he felt a nudge behind him, he looked over his shoulder and saw P99 waking up
"Huh? we're home?" P99 groggily spoke, capturing attention of the two T-Dolls
"Ah, P99! glad to see you still functioning!" MP41 spoke while M1A1 bowed at her
"Ah you finally arrived, glad to see you, Commander just finished his training gone wrong" P99 explained
With that, MP41 pinned Ishui to the wall with her SMG pointed at him "Who dare messing with you...Commander?"
"U-Uhm...I-It was a group of terrorist but we don't know who..." Ishui nervously answered
"But Commander took them out like a skillful commander!" P99 responded while clinging to his arm
"Well good to know then..." MP41 responded before putting away her SMG
"A-Anyways, you girls probably thirsty, I'll make you all something to drink! Sounds fair?" He offered them as MP41 and M1A1 smiled hearing it
"I'll help you!" P99 offered her help which Ishui gladly took
So far, the new commander had just finished his training that was suppose to be easy and now he'll need to adjust himself for new life that's coming at him

A lot of things happened in 2020 guys, my college getting more packed up, eating out my energy as the finals coming closer than ever, on top of that, my grandmother passed away due to Covid-19 and this year just become a stress not for me but to my whole family as well
This is also the first time I wrote a fight scene for this fanfiction so sorry if it's bad and all
I'll try to improve it whatsoever
