Higgins and Miss Cherry walked towards the station. Higgins didn't know how Crabtree or Sam would react to bringing another person to the case but miss Cherry was usually quite useful. He still had some worries over Miss Cherry telling everyone the story before they were ready though so got ready to keep a lot of things from her.

"So Detective Murdoch is okay then?" Miss Cherry interrupted the silence that had befallen them.

"Yes he's fine. Just resting." Higgins muttered.

"I thought he was badly injured."

"He's fine, okay. You don't need to know so can we just get to the station?" Higgins snapped.

Miss Cherry raised her eyebrow as they kept walking. Higgins was so touchy! They finally reached the station after what seemed like hours of walking from the factory.

As they reached the door, it was broken. It looked like it had been kicked in or stormed in. As the police normally did this, it was a little worrying that it had happened to them. Higgins and Miss Cherry looked at each other and then got ready for whatever was on the other side.

They walked into the station. It was trashed. Papers were lying everywhere and tables and chairs had been flipped so they were lying down on their side or their top. It was obvious whoever had done this was now gone as no noise was coming from anywhere.

"What's going on?" Someone asked, coming up behind them.

Both jumped. Sam and Pendrick appeared behind them looking as confused as Miss Cherry and Higgins did.

"Well did someone do some spring cleaning in here?" Pendrick tried to joke.

"Very funny Pendrick. Very original!" Higgins sneered.

Sam went about looking around to see what exactly had been taken. By the looks of it not much. Groaning came from what used to be the bullpen. This was the most broken part of the station that they had seen so far.

"Hello?" Sam called out.

"Sam." Crabtree's voice came from under one of the tables.

Higgins came rushing over when he heard George. Sam and Higgins looked at each other and then got about moving the table from on top of Crabtree. Crabtree lay conscious and breathing covered in papers. Sam gave out her hand and helped George up to his feet.

"What the hell happened?" Miss Cherry finally spoke.

"I don't know. These guys just came in here and started crashing everything. I must have got hit, I can't remember anything else." Crabtree groaned as he straightened his back.

"Did you see their faces?" Sam asked hopefully.

"No. I'm sorry."

Sam welcomed the apology. She was more happy that George wasn't injured than if he saw them. Sam then realised something and turned around to face Higgins and Miss Cherry.

"What's she doing here?" Sam frowned.

"She has a name!" Miss Cherry snapped back.

"I wasn't asking you. So what is Miss Cherry doing here?" Sam asked again, still not looking at Miss Cherry.

"I thought she might be useful." Higgins shrugged hoping Sam wouldn't be too mad at him.

"She's going to tell the press the whole investigation Higgins!" Crabtree backed Sam.

"I'm still here you know!" Miss Cherry shouted.

"Yeah we noticed!" Sam shouted back.

The whole group then went quiet. No one wanted to take sides as both Sam and Miss Cherry could be scary if they wanted too. Pendrick stayed out of the whole conversation as he knew he shouldn't really be there either.

"I won't tell anyone anything if you don't want me to." Miss Cherry finally admitted.

"You promise?" George made sure.

Miss Cherry nodded. The group then went back to looking for the files that were missing and Sam soon noticed the black board they had used earlier. All of the pictures were now missing or they had been ripped up. Sam sighed as she saw what files were really missing.

"They're gone." Sam muttered.

"What are?" Pendrick asked.

"The files for our case. All the pictures. Everything we had so far." Sam waved her hands around.

"You don't think this was Myers do you?" Higgins suggested.

"No he wouldn't do something like this." Sam spoke up for Myers for once.

"How do we know? He's been secretive through the whole thing." Pendrick backed Higgins.

The group took this for a moment. Pendrick was right. Even though Myers was a spy he was more secretive than usual. National security most of them thought.

"We can catch up with him later. We need to find our files first." Sam made sure to mention.

"How? We don't know where they are." Higgins shrugged.

"Don't be so pessimistic Higgins. Did you find anything at the factory?" Sam asked.

"Just Miss Cherry. There wasn't anything else. Looks like it was a joke." Higgins shook his head.

"Well, there could be something else." Miss Cherry spoke up.

"What?"

"Well you were all out of the station at the same time. Perfect opportunity to get the files and get out of here with no one watching." Miss Cherry continued.

Sam nodded. Of course. If they were out of the station then no one was there to protect the files. Anyone could have taken them. Miss Cherry was right. For once.

Myers woke up with a very bad headache. The light in front of him hurt his eyes as he came to. He put his hand up to his head and a little bit of red clutched to his hand. He then heard voices coming from another room. Files lay in front of him that looked very familiar. The files from the case. Where did they come from?

"He's awake." One voice said.

"Don't listen to him, just ignore him." Another voice said.

"So what do we do with him?"

"Easy. They'll notice he's gone, they'll come for him."

Myers sighed as he knew who they were talking about. The team didn't like him and it was going to take a long time before they came to find him. I mean Pendrick had knocked him out so he wouldn't be looking for him. He wasn't going anywhere fast. Time to get used to his surroundings.

Sam and the rest of the team were finishing off cleaning up. The station didn't look completely normal but it still was clean at least. Sam stood the blackboard back up again. They would have to start all over again but at least they still were working together.

"So that's it. What's next?" Pendrick was the first to ask.

"Let's go over what we have so far." Sam brought the chairs together in the bullpen.

"Which isn't much!" George sighed as he sat down.

"True but we have a motive and maybe the person who did all this." Sam tried to keep it light.

"Do we really have a reason though?" Pendrick mentioned.

"We would do if we could get Myers to talk!" Higgins sighed.

Sam suddenly thought. They hadn't seen Myers since two days ago and normally he was here everyday when he was involved in a case. Well that's what her father had said.

"Has anyone seen Myers recently?" Sam suddenly mentioned.

"No why?" Pendrick asked further.

Before Sam or the others could answer that question, the phone rang. As they were being quiet, it made them all jump as it echoed through the station. They looked at each other trying to work out who was going to answer it.
